research, research, research!! this is the best way to actually create a plan/guide and have it stick for you. here are some of my planning video recommendations:

after you’ve watched some videos, read some posts and articles now it’s time to start specifically planning for YOU, here are my favourite things to do:

make a vision board.

buy or source what you’ll need (e.g a gym membership, a waterbottle). treat yourself as much as you can!

clean and tidy your space.

sort through your drawers, clothes and so on. donate what you can and clear some space out.

make a playlist full of motivational songs and the energy you want to bring into the new year.

have an everything shower - feel your cleanest and best for your new goals.

make a pinterest board with a section for every specific goal you have.

make a planner or organiser. write down all of your goals, ideas and plans. start journalling about how you will achieve them and how the you of the future will look having achieved them all!

research and find apps, youtubers or guides specific for your goals that can continue to help you feel motivated and energised.

HEALTH ⋆.˚

your health should be your priority this year! you cant glow up mentally, physically or spiritually unless your body is functioning at its best. here are some essential health focused habits to adopt so you can be your best in every single way:

walk a minimum of 5k steps a day.

drink 2 litres of water a day.

stop skipping meals! having three meals a day ensures that your body is running at its best and functioning how it should.

at least two servings of fruit or veggies per meal.

adding vitamins or supplements in your diet when you can.

yoga every morning and evening.

outside time every day.

find a workout plan that works for you and your lifestyle.

try to eat cleaner, avoid super sugary foods, fast food, anything that stops your from feeling your best.

plan your meals in advance.

have an early night - get at least 7-8 hours.

reduce your caffeine where possible, try herbal teas, matcha and so on.

emphasise a balanced diet and plate.

practice meditation and breathing.

stretch before and after every workout.

stop using screens at least an hour before you go to bed.

cook more - stop buying takeout or ready meals as much as possible.

watch more long form content - avoid short form.

plan your future/dream life, what mental goals will you need to achieve?

socialise more when possible, surround yourself with good and rewarding people.

learn a new hobby or skill, such as learning a new language!

become more curious, ask yourself why. learn about what interests you.

visit libraries more.

set your school device up to maximise your academic productivity!

learn to love and cherish your alone time.

take mental health walks.

find podcasts and audiobooks that interest you.

set time limits on apps like tiktok and so on that suck you in too much, they are time wasters.

A/N: a lot of people liked my previous post so it motivated me to make another! im still new at this so please keep that in mind if a few bits are off (IT’S REALLY REALLY REALLY CRINGY). most grammatical errors are also intentional!

your boyfriend, scara, has a performance today and youre really excited. you received flowers, theyre beautiful. maybe this is an apology for the lack of affection and being more grumpy towards you lately, i mean to be an idol certainly is tiring, isnt it? so it makes perfect sense why he’s acting like this… right?

as always, he gave you tickets to his concert. you couldnt get the chance to say goodbye to him because he left so early in the morning, so youll make it up to him when you meet him backstage.

you got dressed and headed out the door, youre excited to see your beloved scara preform, because he looked happy while doing his job, you were excited to see his smile because… well, he doesnt smile at you anymore… but you quickly brush it off, i mean, being an idol is very stressful.

youve arrived, you tried to enter backstage but some bodyguard stopped you, “hey! what do you think youre doing missy?” you sigh, he must be new, “scara is my lover, i just want to see him,” you try to explain but the bodyguard cuts you off and says “thats what they all say,” he rolls his eyes. “no! really, i am!” you show the bodyguard a picture of you and scara together kissing, “oh” the bodyguard grunts, “so youll let me in?” you look up at him, he looks a bit uncomfortable, “well uhm… ive been given specific orders to not let you in… im sorry,”

“w-what?...”

you heard him loud and clear, the world around you begins to spin, but you quickly ground yourself by comforting yourself with false hopes. maybe hes just planning a surprise for you back there, i mean, it might explain why you got flowers, yea! that must be the reason… you hope.

you found your spot, perfect timing too! the concert begins, you see scara. you melt when you see a smile on his lips, he looks so happy. the crowd screams, theyre chanting 5wirl (the name of their group). venti, xiao, kazuha, heizou, and scara is greeting the audience with warms smiles and kind words.

after a while, the performance ends, it was quite long actually, but it felt so short, time does fly when youre having fun. you head to the backstage doors, hoping that the bodyguard lets you in this time. as you make your way to the backstage doors you see scara’s back in your peripheral vision. hes in a secluded place, he looks like hes trying to be hidden from the crowd, makes sense. you decide to scare him, as you get closer you can see a beautiful lady’s lips pressed against scara’s. you hear the sounds of kissing and soft moaning coming from them.

your heart shatters into a million pieces, it broke so bad that you swore you heard it make a shattering sound. tears fall down your face, youre so stunned that you cant even form words, instead, a pathetic whimpering sound escapes your lips. scara turns around to see where the strange sound is coming from.

his eyes widen a bit, but he immediately regains his composure. “stop crying like a baby and get over it, youre just a nuisance in my life,” now scara was just stomping all over your already broken heart. these simple actions somehow drained all of your energy, just standing was exhausting, not wanting to waste time or energy you give him an “ok,” and you turn around and leave.

you arrive at your shared apartment and decide to eat and rest for a little, so when he comes back you can properly confront him. but, he comes back the next day, hes wasted and the smell of sex is clinging onto him. he walks past you and immediately collapses on the couch and knocks out cold.

when he finally wakes up, youre making dinner. he remembers the encounter from last night. his eyes wander, wanting to look at anything but you. something in the trashcan catches his eye, the flowers. theyre pretty but it didnt come from him.

youve finished cooking, you see scara sitting at the table. you sit down, and placed your meal in front of you and you start to eat. “…what about mine?” scara asks you with a quiet voice. “oh wow, youre initiating a conversation with the nuisance. well, if you must know, that having to take care of you is quite tiring and ive realized that youre quite troublesome and it would be better if you werent in my life. so, kunikuzushi, im breaking up with you.”

hes taken aback when you use his birth name, “h-hey y/n, i didnt mean what i said yesterday… i regret it, it was just the heat of the moment,” he says, his voice trembling a bit. you sigh, “that still doesnt change the fact that you cheated on me, pack your bags and leave, this is my apartment after all,”

his trembling demeanour quickly turned aggressive, “DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH LOVE AND TIME IVE SPENT ON YOU?” you scoff, “WHAT LOVE? WHAT TIME? SURE, YOUVE PROMISED ME THESE THINGS BUT HAVE YOU EVER FULFILLED IT? EVER SINCE YOU BECAME AN IDOL, EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU CHANGED,”

the two of you are now yelling. “WELL, BEING AN IDOL IS TIRING, AND BEING BOUND TO ONLY YOU IS TIRING. ANEMO RESEMBLES FREEDOM, I CANT JUST BE BOUND TO YOU. A-AND SHE LOVES ME FOR WHO I AM” youre hurt, you stop yelling, “she loves you for who you are today, but will she when you have nothing?” “NO ONE LOVED ME WHEN I HAD NOTHING, WHEN I WAS NOTHING-“ “I FUCKING DID”

your voice begins to break, “i loved you when you had nothing, i was the one who helped you get back on your feet,” you sigh, hot tears now spilling down your face, “im gonna take a walk, and when i come back your things better be packed.” you leave the apartment, “you didnt even get to enjoy your meal,” he mumbles to himself. he begins to pack his things.

youre walking towards the park, youre tears making your cheeks glisten in the sunlight. you spot kazuha admiring the scenery, hes sitting down on a bench with a pen and notebook in hand, you assume he was making song lyrics or a haiku. you walk up to kazuha and wipe away your tears, “u-uhm hey kazu,” you sit down beside him. “oh hey y/n! nice seeing you here!” his voice is warm and comforting.

“im surprised that you arent swarmed by paparazzi yet,” you giggle, “me too, the quiet is very relaxing. my day has become better now that youre here. wheres scara?” you can feel your eyes watering up “we broke up… he cheated on me,” kazuha hugs you, patting your back, tears are now falling down your face. “you dont deserve that, you really dont, youre one of the most amazing people that i know.”

you hear the sound of footsteps running, it’s probably someone jogging. kazuha tucks your hair behind your ear while looking you in the eyes.

“WAIT!-“

kazuha presses a gentle kiss on your forehead. you turn your head to see who had just called out, it was scara, he was standing there in shock, tears slipping down his face. “YOU BITCH KAZUHA,” scara yells at him. the bouquet of flowers you threw out earlier was now in his hands. “YOU LIKE Y/N, DONT YOU? YOU HAVE HER THESE FLOWERS, RIGHT?” scara scoffs, “and what if i do? theres no harm in having a crush, unlike cheating on your lover. and, i did give those flowers to her, so what?”

scara turns to you “b-baby you still love me right? a-and not this bastard, right?” his voice seems desperate, “kunikuzushi i-”

i wonder if theyre going to implement an actual DUO magic in the story??? We have only seen that mechanic on gameplay battles, but never on the characters, the plot dont even mention if they can combine magic with one another (this is what i interpret DUO magic to be, just two mages combining magic bcs they're "buddies"/have high chemistry with each other)

it would be interesting to see DUO magic to be about combining two unique magic together though 😭🙏✨ Like I can perfectly see it with Malleus and Silver UMs (since these are the only UMs we know that is very specifically related with each other lol), them casting their unique magic together AAAAA IT WOULD BE SO COOL TO SEE IT IN THE MAIN STORY 😭🙏✨

i yap sm about Silver UM complimenting Malleus' , but i also hope Silver's UM can be used with Lilia's 🥺✨ Since we know that Far Cry Cradle is a "short lived UM" like how it only reveals a little portion of memories, I'm thinking maybe Silver's UM can ground it a bit better? Technically speaking, I feel like Lilia's UM is based on conciousness (like Malleus' UM), its just that his is based on reality (instead of imagination unlike with Malleus) and it feels like he's not fully asleep, I do think he still closes his eyes when he uses this though,

I wish we could know more about Lilia's UM actually, like can Far Cry Cradle be used with other people ? (That is, can he share the memory visions with another person or is this UM requires only Lilia to see it?) Plus the fact that it can see through the past rven when Lilia knows nothing about it is intriguing, its like Malleus' UM again where we know he doesnt know a person yet his Fae of Maleficence can still create their dreams without knowing them personally, but like its even more mysterious with Lilia as we know his UM is not used on people but on objects, do objects carry memory in TWST??? Aaaa I want to know more about the technicality with intangible UMs (of Malleus, Lilia, and Silver) 🥲✨

They go elaborate on physical UMs like with Sebek and Jack (like theres details of them turning to lightning/wolf form, how it feels, how it differentiates from transforming, etc) but not so much about imaginative UMs !!

I hope the writers provide an explanation bcs I cant settle for it to be just "its just about imagination and soul" whatever lol

I could see it working if you play on sy's sympathetic side because he might feel a little bad at letting sqh run around in a world with no clue of how things work, but that would still be a stretch since Sy has nothing but contempt for sqh until the airplane reveal in canon

Ok coming off anon because I'm trying to conquer the constant social anxiety lmao (same person who sent you Longass Thoughts on Natlan AQ) - SO YEAH personally I like Ei's character but foaming a bit at the mouth because I feel like my favorite parts of her character (namely she was NOT ready to be the archon when makoto kicked the bucket, she's got that good ol' warrior-weapon mindset knocking around in there- having her actually confront the ugly truth of the consequences of her actions was such a missed opportunity. it would've been SO good to see her actually get confronted personally without any sugarcoating. i think her learning to be less of a shitty archon would've been so much better then)

I completely forgot about how Ei was originally a kagemusha, a weapon for her sister, her sister did all the archon work while Ei simply stood by her side. Its makes perfect sense that after the death of her sister, she would make very bad not thought out decisions and because she is an archon now, those bad decisions has really really bad aftermaths.

I personally do not have any gripes about her being basically clueless about the outside world. Grief manifests in different ways and locking yourself away and justifying it as a twisted way to gain enlightment of eternity the way your sister did, it can make sense. It is a consequence!! She is clueless of how to be an archon and what is going on in her nation, her SQ could have been used to show her trying to understand and emphatize with her people to be a better archon. NOT A REASON TO MAKE HER AN uwu sad defenseless waifu cant cook and doesnt know anything. Brother she fucking killed people and almost destroyed her nation.

About Kokomi

I like the idea of morally grey kokomi actually. It makes alot of sense. Kokomi and the watatsumi people might have some vishap descendance but they are still humans, even less so with visions. Theyre also lacking the supplies and expertise needed to continue a war with an entire nation and its archon. It would make sense that she would accept the fatuis help since they share the sentiment of 'getting to inazuma and its archon'.

But it was shown she wasnt even aware who the anonymous donor is, hell she wasnt aware people where using delusions until people starts dying. And for a girl who wrote an entire guide book with 100 different alternate plans, HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THIS COMING...............

Yeah they really brushed off the dying part and potentially being stuck in genshin limbo if you dont get out in time too casually. Yeah man. Sacrifices and war was dealt better in liyue. Same as Natlan, it is a nation built of war. There was war in the past, sacrifices were made to built the liyue we know now. But the sacrifices in liyue was not brushed off or belittled, those sacrifices had meaning and the people of liyue hold very high regards for the fallen. In Natlan? Its treated like some sort of sick hunger games event, they made war into entertainment.

Mental Disorders Headcanons

pls keep in mind that im not an expert on disorders or anything, i just thought this would be fun lmfao

lots of disassociating and emotional detachment

and I can imagine that he experiences derealization a lot, especially during his mental breakdowns

i feel like there would be times that he would just stare at something for hours

every morning Oha Asa, has to prepare everything exactly the way he wants it to be, and be finished at a specific time

if something goes wrong he outbursts, either a breakdown or doing something repeatedly to make sure that what his doing is correct

and the times that he somehow cant find or dont know his lucky item (this is canon btw lmfao) he hoards everything that he can find in relation to what small thing he knows about the potential lucky item

we also know that he takes very extensive care of his nails because of basketball to the point that he wraps bandages around him

now that i think about it maybe him having ocd might just be canon atp

when he accidentally fucks up, or the shape of his nail wasnt what he wants it to be, he continues filing down his nails until it bleeds

Akashi notices this and forbids him to practice when he sees blood on the tips of his bandages

sometimes when the rest notices that its really bad, they offer the some of their things in hopes that it would be effective as his lucky item

also, at times, they listen to oha asa just in case Midorima has trouble with his lucky item so that it wouldnt happen again

Depression

we see a lot of the symptoms in the anime actually

loss of interest in hobbies, self isolation, irritability, stuff like that

i think he would definitely engage in self destructive behaviors, but not quite like cutting

suicidal ideation

he doesnt practice, we know this, but instead of "theres no point" its more of "someone might be able to beat me if i stay in this level"

but i feel like he would train outside their practices, harder than a lot of people

running for hours regardless of how much he throws up, working out in gyms but not using equipment properly or pushes himself past his limit

stuff like that

he actively avoids people, and he struggles with doing basic functions like eating, brushing his teeth, taking a bath

its not often that the gang notices when its particularly bad, but Kise and Kuroko never miss it

they'd always make sure that hes with someone, and they'd watch over him so that he doesnt do anything that might harm him, especially after an incident

they were about to cross the road but Aomine wasnt looking

(he doesnt look when he crosses anymore and its just become a habit)

both of them pulled him back, and he was pissed at the two of them because he also landed on his ass

when they made eye contact, all three of them just immediately understood what Aomine was trying to do

NPD or Narcissistic Personality Disorder

in the manga, Kise's very rude to people he deems below him

or in general, people who he doesnt call "-cchi"

i would think that Kise actually has a very fragile self-esteem

most people in his life praise him anyways, and it doesnt help that he's a model thats often swarmed by girls wherever he goes

but when someone gives him critisizm, its like a switch

he doesnt get angry, but he does feel intense shame and he'll overthink about it for days on end, sometimes not being able to sleep at night

and he'll do everything to make sure that he himself knows that he isnt what that person says he is

when that doesnt happen, he questions his self worth and disassociates for days as well

often it gets self destructive

those he sees below him, he despises

as if they arent even worthy of breathing the same air as him

he treats them like shit only in private tho

I think Aomine would be his number 1 supporter

Kise doesnt rely on others nor shows vulnerability, but you can count on Aomine to point out the things that he's good at when he's feeling down

Kuroko would try to distract him i think, like taking him to eat popsicles or karaoke

(some of the only times that Kuroko actually agrees to hang out with him)

has almost attempted self harm many times but never actually goes through with it

ADHD

we see traces of this too in the anime and in the manga

his hyperfixation is definitely and quite obviously basketball

he has difficulty with emotional regulation as we know, feeling hotheaded and sometimes explosive anger

we've seen him restless as well when he's looking forward to games too much, or he just cant help but practice when he needs to blow off some steam

and id also think hes just generally restless, he has to be doing something or fidgeting with something and he cant sit still

hes a bit of a perfectionist (just a bit)

i think hes also a little sensitive when taking critisism, and sometimes he takes it the wrong way and suddenly outbursts

something that's also shown in the anime is that hes impulsive, especially on the court but also off court

ADHD often comes with anxiety and depression, so sometimes the Seirin team can tell that he's down or he's more fidgety than usual

Hyuga is a tough love kind of person, so he doesnt hesitate to be blunt around Kagami

Sometimes he takes it wrong, but Kuroko and Izuki is always there to help Kagami understand that Hyuga just wants the best for him

when hes down, Seirin goes to Maji burger and they all split the bill to pay for the ridiculous amounts of burgers that Kagami loves so much

Kagami i think fidgets with himself if he's restless, biting his nails, peeling his lips, to the point of bleeding

Seirin notices every single time and just grabs kagami's arm and pulls it away from whatever he's doing

Im curious about what is cannon and fannon in the AC fandom. Ive read many different origins for the scar Desmond has, but most people go with Bill being the one to give it to him. Is this because its cannon from a little known source(similiar to the fact that Altaïr can swim, as seen in the 3ds games, but most people make him unable to swim despite the fact) or is it widely accepted fannon? What about Masyaf castle? Ive read some fics about it being an Abstergo facility with the Templars having opened the Library, while others write it is just been left to time. And ofc cant forget Eagle Vision. Is it a unique ability to Altaïr only? Did his father have it too? Did every novice have to master it before becoming an assassin?

There could be others, but these are the facts that im mostly curious about. Thank you for answering. ^^

So I’m gonna break this into sections so I don’t have to think about scene transition or whatever rambling equivalent that has.

Altaïr Can Swim

We all accept that he can’t swim because that’s funny. However, if we take into consideration how Altaïr can swim as seen in his ‘sequel’, this is pretty much the complete opposite of “Altaïr has never been hit” status that he has in the fandom. They both causes desyncing so if we believe in “Altaïr has never been hit” then it’s not that Altaïr can’t swim, it’s that “Altaïr never slipped or fell into the waters” which actually points more to Altaïr being a badass. But we decided that Altaïr not being able to swim is a much funnier idea and went to town with it XD

Bill Being The Reason Desmond Has His Scar

Okay, so ngl, I also liked to write that Bill is the reason Desmond has a scar, either directly or indirectly (I mostly go for indirectly with another kid being the reason why he has a scar but Bill was there ‘supervising’), mostly because I like the plot point that getting the scar is the thing that finally snaps Desmond and got him to leave the Farm ‘randomly’.

Anyway, the canon/fanon blur a lot in this one as there are enough people that believe Bill made the scar as seen by this post.

My thoughts on that is pretty much summarized in the tags I left in that one:

To add to that, I’m talking about AC Revelations specifically because of Desmond’s rant in an early scene where he finally shouts at Bill for being a bad father. That was the perfect time to just drop that bombshell of Bill being the reason why Desmond has his scar but we didn’t get that. That’s the main reason why I don’t think it’s canon that Bill is the reason why Desmond got his scar but there’s 3 more scenes in AC Revelations where he could have talked about it, all of them from Desmond’s memories scenes.

I also talked about how I couldn’t find any evidence of Bill being the reason that Desmond got his scar in this post.

But the summary is I tried looking for any information about it in the books, pamphlet, manuals and references I had (I say ‘had’ because I had to leave them back in my old home after I moved due to space constraints TTATT), only focusing on any mentions of Desmond and Bill

In conclusion:

The most I got can be summarized from Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia, p182

"... driven, intelligent but emotionally distant father of Desmond Miles..." While William's wife has always been able to deal with this emotional distance, young Desmond could not. If Bill did directly or indirectly cause Desmond's scar, I could not find it in the official books I have or even on Desmond's or Bill's AC Wiki page.

Unless someone can point out where it officially states that Bill caused Desmond's scar, I believe the whole "Bill is the reason for Desmond's scar" is AC fandom's own Mandela Effect. Most probably something that started as a headcanon (and for a very good reason) and is commonly used by fanfic writers (including me) which has evolved as a Word of Dante that we, as a collective, have mistaken as a Word of God.

Masyaf’s Current Situation

There’s no official note of the current situation of Masyaf in the modern days and I think Ubisoft would probably not do anything about it narrative-wise… I’d honestly be surprised if they did anything about it if they make an AC1 Remake. Now, it’s a bit nebulous if the Templars did manage to get the library but it should be noted that the last time we see Altaïr’s Apple, Ezio let it stay in the library and the ACR novel gave us:

“The bookshop was used as an outpost for the Assassins, and Ezio stored the Masyaf Keys in the chamber where he had found the first key, underneath the bookshop.”

If the Templars got into the bookshop then they’ll find all the keys and would have everything they needed to get into the library.

However…

The Apple would find itself in the hands of Queen Elizabeth I and Mahatma Gandhi before falling into Templar hands.

As far as I can see, Queen Elizabeth I isn’t a Templar so it’s highly possible that the British Empire did their usual ‘finders keepers’ thing and this wasn’t a nefarious Templar plan. So either Ezio got the Apple out of Masyaf and hid it somewhere else that would later be found by someone (maybe John Dee?) or Ezio… just left it in Masyaf?

I wanna give Ezio the benefit of the doubts and believe that he knew leaving it in Masyaf would be such a bad idea so the Apple was most probably transferred somewhere else.

Which means that Masyaf was completely abandoned by the end of Ezio’s era which Ezio would have believed be something that Altaïr wanted to happen.

I realized now I’m rambling further and further away from the actual topic for this section.

In conclusion: we have no idea if Masyaf is abandoned or occupied by the Templars in modern day. I will also add if it’s occupied by Templars, it might be a secret ‘base’ or it’s affiliated with a non-Abstergo Entertainment section of Abstergo because, as far as I can see, Abstergo Entertainment’s headquarters are based on existing Ubisoft headquarters (ex: Black Flag’s Abstergo Entertainment is in Montreal = Ubisoft Montreal)

Personally, I think that Abstergo would take over Masyaf castle either officially or unofficially as a way to show the Brotherhood how they hold one of the most important locations in their history. That’s the kind of power play the current Inner Sanctum would do.

(It would be funny in a ‘that’s fucked up’ kind of way if Masyaf is an Abstergo secret facility that does experimental work with captured Assassins as guinea pigs which they have done in the Philadelphia facility (Fall comics) and Madrid (AC Movie))

Eagle Vision

It was actually never explicitly stated who had Eagle Vision and who hadn’t but it’s noted that humans, in general, have the capability to unlock Eagle Vision although there are humans who has an easier time unlocking it.

AC1 noted that the Levantine Assassins knew about Altaïr’s Eagle Vision but there’s no evidence to suggest that they have it as well. Most of the time, they just tell Altaïr to use his vision without saying if they have it as well or not.

(it’s just personal preference to write that 12th century Assassins, both in Masyaf and Alamut, would have some form of Eagle Vision to show how much the Brotherhood had ‘fallen’ in the modern day. Canon actually points that only a small number of people can access Eagle Vision)

cohesive, overt theming. its a kids show so the in-your-face nature works really well, yet its still somehow not TOO overt? shes wearing a beret and her cylume coord features the most basic landscapes-- not only is she an artist, shes specifically an art teacher and thats clearly reflected in her main/cyalume coord. probably the strongest theming out of anyone (save maybe peppers animal thing)

glasses representation. pripara should NOT bestow perfect vision to people!!! blind bitches exist too

her colour scheme is reaaaaally nice. the pinks are complimented nicely by her brown eyes. and in the anime shes got cute pink cheeks (which the game excluded🙄 even though player avatars could add those same exact pink cheeks???)

while her brand is a bit more limited since she wasnt really important for long :((( candy alamode more is easily my favourite brand in pripara (which says a lot since im usually drawn to more gothic and punk inspired brands)

okay actually this is becoming reasons why shes just a great character in general. but her being an artist is soooo fun and it wouldve been so fun to have more profession-based characters. give us a pastry chef or something cmon. and if i ever regain my motivation to translate stuff... which will happen...! her artist references will be so fun to translate (yuppp. the same references that contributed to me being unable to understand a word she said since s2 didnt get fansubs? theyre good now actually). but yeahhhhh also id always wanted to be an artist as a kid so ajimi speaks to me

shes a really fun contrast to mirei. she uses an offshoot of mireis brand that really is more of what candy alamode is going for, but where mirei wears the most generic candy pop theming, ajimis coords are much more reflective of her actual personality. ajimi looks identical inside and out of pripara, including being one of very few glasses wearers, while mirei notably loses her glasses and her whole schtick is being completely different in pripara. mirei puts on her idea of a generic pop idol persona, including catchphrases that dont really mean anything and arent reflective of any facet of her personality. her "pri" just refers to pripara, cant possibly get more generic. ajimi has stupid catchphrases too, but theyre reflective of her actual personality and interests. she namedrops artists constantly, not bc shes trying to come across any which way but bc she just really loves art and wants to incorporate her favourite artists into her speech

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR LEGO MONKIE KID SEASON 5

so I’ve finally finished watching all of lmk season 5, and…

…I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT SHIT… 😭😭😭

LIKE- (starting w/ ep. 7 here since ep. 6 doesn’t have much happen in it iirc) we FINALLY get to learn what MK is/how he was created, LBD sorta shows up and the eye demon guy reveals to mk what all those visions meant(yk, mk literally sacrificing himself for the world n all), the show references wukong and macaque’s fight thingymajigy in jttw, then in ep. 8 mk can control the jade emperor’s power(or was that ep. 7? idrk man), the fuckin uh snake demon guy reveals the first two things i said to everybody else, but he also reveals/mk figures out that [snake guy] actually FREED MK FROM THE STONE WAAAAY EARLIER THAN NEEDED(snake guy also has some lore which kinda makes him interesting but that isn’t the point here)…

and in ep. 9, well- there’s no big lore drop except at the end, but so i’ll kinda summarize it instead. macaque first tries to stop mk from doin the whole sacrifice but fails, and eventually the others have to stop/stall snake guy while wukong tries to stop mk instead. he fails and mk encounters nuwa, who reveals the whole… “pillars in peril? pillars saved by mk? oh, well, that means the whole world has to start over cuz there are no more beings strong enough to handle the stones now, so the world’s gotta make new ones.” thing to him(which is the lore drop basically).

finally, in ep. 10, well(i shall also summarize this one)…

everyone thinks mk died(but macaque mutters “wukong”… 👀👀), meanwhile mk goes “NAH, IMMA DO MY OWN THING, ANS YOU CANT STOP ME!!!!!!!!” to nuwa basically, and comes out of the pillar alive. wukong catches mk when the latter starts to fall, so (mostly) everybody goes in for a group hug- but considering the world’s basically ending… they hold hands for the last time- and wukong is LEGIT ABOUT TO GET MACAQUE TO HOLD HIS HAND, WHEN FUCKIN SNAKE GUY INTERRUPTS THE MOMENT SJ2JZIWISIAOLAKAKAJQJSI LET THEM HAVE THEIR MOMENT SMH- …….oh right anyways. they(the others, not snake guy) decide to share the power of the stones with everyone due to mk convincing them of it, but then snake guy drags mk into the pillar- and they have a weird conversation that’s basically snake guy goin “…this has only just begun. good luck, kid. you’ll need it.” to mk and then literally pushing him off and back outta the pillar.

the last few minutes of the episode is basically the aftermath of that. people now have cool magic powers(nobody is gonna use em for bad, definitelyyyyy /hj /lh), flyingbark reference through a flying dog, and some of the monkie kids(everybody but the monkeys themselves basically) are just chillin n talkin. meanwhile, mk n wukong talk bout what’s gonna happen next or sum(can’t exactly remember what specifically, I just remember mk startin the convo like that) but when mk starts to cry wukong hugs him.

then, we get an outro-monologue thingy from tang- and what we see durin it is basically this;

1; macaque is in court with the ten kings(?)- his powers have been affected by snake guy.

2; pigsy n mk are just havin a nice time addin a new photo to the photo album.

3; nezha and his dad are helpin handlin stuff in the celestial realm,

4; finally, the monkie kids/mk’s crew + redson + the two monkeys are havin a lil celebration somewhere… but in the very end, macaque sees how mk’s staff is also affected by snake guy’s powers(?).

so like- YEAH, I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT CLIFFHANGER. ……OR LEGIT ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN THE LATER HALF OF SEASON 5.

I drew a little something with my friend’s oc and tear and decided to incorporate some of his cool powahs in it bc I haven’t been able to flesh out their character just yet! And bc Tear is a bear AND a ghost she has the capability to possess people for a period of time

But bc tear doesn’t have eyes they can’t see very well thru people’s regular eyes (or bodies in this case) and can see best through the white part of the eye (or the sclera if you wanna be really fancy) and also bc tear doesn’t function well in these other bodies (bc she still has a somewhat physical form LITERALLY INSIDE someone else (which is also painful for the person possessed) it gets harder to control some parts (example being the eyes, nose and mouth) since they aren’t unconscious and can still be physically fighting to move one way while tear is attempting to move another) KIND OF LIKE BILL CIPHER EXCEPT THEY SHARE A BODY AND NOBODY CONSENTED :)

Additionally, Tear actually can’t just possess anyone and everyone!!!! (Not ONLY bc they have a moral compass and are generally just not a jerk) it has to be specifically one of the people who CANT see her (since not everyone can) and if he does this then it actually causes that person to see them (yayyy) BUTTT there is also a downside to being possessed for too long, if tear starts to get too comfortable then it could result in a loss of vision and mobility,, (tear doesn’t cause this on purpose it’s just a random side affect that can vary in how bad it gets from person to person) IT COULD ALSO BE TEMPORARY BLURRINESS OR SORENESS either way bad stuff!!

IM GLAD HE SEEMS INTERESTING!! i pretty much just made him (and i havent fully perfected his story yet) but ill just put some things about him here!! i'll probably make a big post later explaining his story, like i did with my other oc elias which you can find here (i dont rlly like the art on that post anymore so dont judge!!!!)

ANYWAYS starting off, he's practically a ghost, or some paranormal entity (haven't really decided yet and a ghost sounds too cliche to me) and he kinda just aimlessly wanders around the forest, not really able to accept that he's actually dead.

i'm not gonna get tooo in depth with the story cause i havent really figured out the full story yet, but the basic premise is that before his death, he was a pretty socially awkward kid, and didn't really fit in much at school, but he still enjoyed it either way!! he had (and mostly still does) a strong love for photography, human nature, wildlife and SCIENCE!! in his science class specifically, he met this guy named cole, and they bonded over their shared liking of science. cole was quite popular, and practically led him on (knowing that mason started developing feelings for him) leading to his eventual death. (will elaborate on that in the post i make later on when i figure stuff out!) after his death, he got revenge on bro!! leading to him wandering around in the forest which he died in and soon finding slenderman, and slenderman taking him in as a 'proxy'!!! (i have a type(?) (kinda) of a slendermansion au) though he still lives in the forest, not really.. remembering much of that specific encounter, causing him to get lost a LOT.

FUN FACTS ABOUT HIM CAUSE!!! needs to be included

favorite animal is foxes!! his favorite flower is sunflowers, and he LOVESSS statues!!! he also really enjoys writing and literature in general! (he has a very big vocabulary!!!)

he has a unilateral incomplete cleft lip, which im not very good at drawing, but its there! also freckles spread across his nose and cheeks, and he also has heterochromia. (green and brown!!) his nose pretty much constantly bleeds, he WOULD be that kid in class that has to go to the bathroom/nurse for a bloody nose daily.

in his post-death form, he has a huge messy hole/gash in the side of his stomach, as well as a similar one on his left calf that expands onto the front of his leg a bit. he's semi-transparent with his form taking on a green-ish tint!

he has a hard time seeing things up close, so he occasionally will wear glasses, although rarely.. another little small detail is that he found a tube of mascara in the woods once and curiously just kinda.. put it on and has been wearing it ever since, even though its so messy due to how he just goes for it and CANT CLEAN OFF HIS FACE!! the fact that he probably smells like burning leaves is another thing i put in my notes app 4 some reason but you get the vision

something i was thinking about and jotted down in my notes app about him is that if he was a type of painting (in his post-death form) he'd be a messy, soft watercolor with sharp and ragged lineart (if that makes sense?) and also with types of art, i feel like he'd be performance art. just a thought i had that i thought was rlly cool!!

1. all forms of the rot actually cant see! they rely on their extremely sensitive hearing to find you/other prey. you can get some pretty clutch escapes by throwing something one way and crawling around the thing while its distracted

2. while on the subject of rot, they're very hard to kill (obviously), however pretty much the one thing that can reliably kill rot is an explosive spear to the core (NOT a grenade, strangely enough. gotta be a spear). this makes cherry pretty much the only scug that can kill a ddl without some very specific circumstances

3. in my personal experience this doesn't work on hunter long legs for some reason. honestly i haven't been able to kill one with anything short of a singularity bomb.

4. this one i find really interesting: centipedes' vision is movement based! they have a really hard time seeing you if you move slowly, and youre pretty much invisible if you stand still. they can, however, hear pretty well, and of course find you with touch, but ive had my fair share of moments of running from one and hiding by ducking in an alcove and standing still. theres a picture of me staring down a red pede like 5 inches from in somewhere in my hard drive lmao

5. yellow lizards are fuckin weird. they are dumb as rocks, probably dumber than even greens, however theyre also the only social lizards. the weird tentacle-ey things on the back of their heads are actually antennae, which they can communicate with the other yellow lizards with. this is part of the reason the thunder dome is so dangerous, because if one lizard finds you, they ALL will, and those fuckers know how to FLANK too, so especially in such an enclosed and mazelike area like that, you're pretty much fucked. the one thing you can do is kill their leader, the one with the longest antennae. do that and they'll lose all communication, and they just kinda run around and bite each other. pretty funny

cannot remember if this has been asked before in any capacity BUT do any of your ocs have a "theme song" (interpreted however you wanna interpret that)

THEY DO YEAH! i tend to have music associations for characters in general tho characters w specific 'theme song' esque songs narrows it down (which i am doing on purpose cuz i will talk too much abt too many ocs otherwise gbhfhg).

some of my ocs have playlists and they're privated since theyre usually just for me, but i do plan on sharing the blue, elle, and blue/elle playlists at some point- elle's needs new art, once thats done i can share them! as ppl know i edit and rearrange my playlists a lot lol

picking single ones can be touogh but i can do it . believe it. very small amnt of my ocs

blue: probably murderer by grandson, as soon as i heard it i was like god damn this is literally the blue theme song. but he has a BIG playlist with a lot of fitting songs

elle: old town road... is it bcuz shes southern YES its bcuz shes southern. otherwise i gotta go with all along the watchtower (the jimi hendrix version specifically) or creep by radiohead u have to see my vision

angel: pink hotel by scene queen cuz i think she sounds like that but also she has a playlist so LOTS of songs (lots of more serious ones lol.. but they cant beat pink hotel by scene queen)

Hey! It’s the Noornoon fanatic again here to say the fic you recently posted was FANTASTIC! I loved it so much, I cant even begin to describe it. I adore his relationship with Omnigul and how you portray her (I always adored her but no one ever pays attention to her!) Kinox gets such a wonderful portrayal in your world and AHHHHHHH! (It’s hard to even write what I wanna say bc I’m just so enthused rn!) Thank you so much for sharing your writing and making my day, I always look forward to your work! (If you did something Omnigul and Crota centered, exploring her character as someone who has earned her name as an Osmium via his admiration for her but struggles to get respect for that title, I would actually dissolve) Keep up the incredible work!

Thank you! Noornoon is def my fave Hive OC other than Gup (who is my precious lil guy) but Noornoon is a Hive. Idk if I'll ever go into Omnigul specifically because I'm more interested in Kinox and Noornoon but she'll def be around. I do have some other stuff planned involving Sav and Xivu and Noornoon courting Kinox and some saucy stuff *cough*. Idk when I'll get a chance to write it though.

Kinox hung with her sisters like wraiths in a belfry watching the show down below. While not their sister in blood Ginak was their sister in carnage. She had put on a play before the brood was to start their assault on Ti’avo, a world that was long overdue for plucking. The assembled Hive hummed along with the words and the songs, allowing for those without eyes to more easily build up a view of the world around them as the sound echoed through their horns and thick skulls to paint perfect images in their minds in the color of sound.

Tigri leaned over to Kinox at the end of the song and the butchering of both thrall and citizens of Ti’avo began. The thrall screamed in delight, almost ecstasy. The Ti’avo screamed in pain and horror. “You have an admirer,” Tigri said softly to Kinox.

“Hmm?” she looked away from the stage and Ginak’s wonderful gruesome sight. “What?”

Tigri tilted her head to press their horns together and Kinox could see what she could see. The shapes and colors of the music reverberating through them and overlapping with her own echolocation vision. And there down on the ground she noticed a member of the congregation kept looking back and up into the belfry; right at her. She scoffed, “Just an Acolyte stunned Crota’s daughters attend such a low brow play,” she told Tigri. But that was what they loved about Ginak’s work. It was, in a word, quite trashy.

“Perhaps,” Tigri said. “Could be fun though. If you don’t want them I’ll surely take them.”

Kinox growled at her sister. “They obviously have eyes and its why they prefer me,” she bit out at Tigri who only giggled. “Once the show is over. I will see this Acolyte.”

Tigri teased her, jabbing her with her claws, “May they worship you eternal.”

Kinox shoved her sister aside and only because the play was still going on did she was inflict further violence on Tigri. It was almost a curse! She was a daughter of Crota, grand daughter of Oryx, descended from Gods. As if a measly little Acolyte could tempt her bite.
