Whenever I go out on patrol, I come check if there's anyone who needs my help. Over time, I came to understand why it's so special — it's a great place to calm your mind and organize research materials.

You struggle with your keys, losing track of time as you know it, luckily, your asshole neighbor spares a small act of kindness and helps you unlock your door so you can get some rest.

you swiftly pick your keys up to awkwardly stare up at your neighbor again.

“You should know that I don’t like to talk first, from our other painfully annoying interactions such as this one, but I’ll let it pass since you’ve slightly amused me with how stupid you look fucking around with your door for the passed 3 minutes.”

You let out a frustrated huff as you scramble around with your house key that carries just about every keychain from every show you’ve watched in just about your whole life. The keyhole seems 5 times smaller now that you’ve spent an entire minute trying to get the key in; the reality being that you got a bit too excited to get into the house and peel your bra off, the mental image dancing around in your head as you nearly break a sweat trying to get that damn key in.

“Is this even the right fucking key..?”

You whisper to yourself, not wanting to disturb your neighbors, taking note of the thin walls that make up your apartment building. You honestly considered that it could be night time due to how long you’ve been fussing around with your apartment door.

You take a break from hovering over your key hole to flex your neck and give it a mellow roll before you dive back in, only to struggle with the door a minute more.

A pair of heavy footsteps bustle its way closer as you shakily push your key at your door, your giant neighbor named Sukuna making his appearance next to you along with a shorter blue haired guy. Sukuna wastes no time at all and slides his key through his keyhole opening his apartment. 

The shorter man gives you a long glance, switching from your keyhole situation to your face, focused and wet with concentrated sweat.

“Hey, Suck-na.”

The man calls a questionable name out, eyes not leaving your pathetic struggling for a second. 

“The hell do you want– Call me that shit again and i’ll fuck you up.”

Your neighbor Sukuna yells out from inside his apartment, undoubtedly not careful of his neighbor’s disapproval.

The blue haired man chokes out a small laugh, leaning against Sukuna’s door with a covered mouth, actively enjoying your struggle that hes calling a “show.”

“Sukuna, your little neighbor, she’s cooked.”

He attempts to hide his extremely mean laughs, not for your unknowing sake but, incase Sukuna might snap at him for some crazy reason.

“Mahito.. Get your ass in her-”

“No- seriously come see this shit..”

You huff out once again, using your last basket of stored up, pre-work energy to fight through your tired and overstimulated, end of the day foggy brain. This was ridiculous! some one better give you a world record award because you're making history doing the exact opposite of pulling out of your keyhole. You mentally shoo off any defeat calls, but, failing to perhaps consider camping outside of your apartment for the night, yes, you were that tired.

The two men stood stiff at Sukuna’s door way after Sukuna came stomping out. They began watching you fidget with your keyhole like an idiot.

“..Mahito, get yo’ ass inside and start up the game, the controllers are on the couch.”

Sukuna breaks the silence, not getting any enjoyment out of seeing this level of “cute” patheticness. (he’s hardcore, “where are the women, the children!”) 

“You’re gonna help er’ ..?”

Mahito genuinely questions Sukuna, having to stain his neck to look up at the much bigger man like he was a skyscraper. 

“Get inside, now.”

Sukuna huffs.

The small guy quickly making his way inside, slamming it shut when Sukuna barks him a small “close it.”

Your neighbor slowly approaches you, counting the times you suck your teeth, pausing your aching hand for a millisecond, then starting to struggle again. By the 6th teeth-suck he's almost towering over you, leaning against the wall with firmly crossed arms, bulging through his rough leather jacket. His eyes scan over your twisting hands then back to your shaky eyes, how far should he push with this one? "She looks half dead." Sukuna sighs to himself, mentally

It takes you about half of the teeth-sucks he counted before to notice his presence, just casually looming over you, and to that finds it quite cute that you were so unaware, he takes note of how swift he can be despite his size. 

You give him a non-chalant once over, then another, finally flinching, throwing your dilated eyes at the 6-something-tall man beside you. You drop your keys, staring up at him, wordless, until you swiftly pick your keys up to awkwardly stare up at your neighbor again.

Sukuna quirks an eyebrow at your unwavering lazy expression.

You shift around, looking down at your keys then back at him, failing to hide a frog like blink.

Sukuna outwardly stinks his face, standing up straight.

“Give the damn keys to me.”

Sukuna snatches the keys from your hand. Before you could peep out the sound of a word.

He expertly slides the key into the hole and turns the key, unlocking your door, kicking the door open with his foot.

You let out a comically late reaction gasp as you hear the door knob bang against the wall, returning your stare to Sukuna, shooting Sukuna an even more exhausted expression just thinking about a repair bill if the knob broke the wall.

Sukuna drops the key, your last bit of surface energy going to instinctively catching your keys from meeting the floor. 

“Go to bed, kid.”

Sukuna turns on a heel and opens the door to his apartment, slamming the door, muffling out a welcome from his guest (not friend, to sukuna), Mahito.

You blink a few times and gave out a weak smile, just now realizing, you witnessed the apartment building’s infamous grumpy resident just share a moment of kindness with you of all people, you had no more brain power in you to overthink if that was an unspoken love confession or not, so you headed inside and crashed onto your more than welcoming bed.
