Hyperfixation flag

A general flag/term for anyone with hyperfixations or who finds their hyperfixation(s) to be part of their identity! While this is primarily for hyperfixations, you can use this flag for other aspects of your identity, such as gender, if you experience them as being related to your hyperfixation(s).

I will be making more specific flags for various hyperfixations! Please feel free to suggest hyperfixations you'd like me to make flags for :)

[id: the first image is of a horizontally striped flag consisting of 8 stripes and an overlay. the top stripe is warm red, and has a decorative border of white repeating bumps that stick out onto the red stripe. the next stripe is a reddish orange, then there's a yellowish orange, and then the 4th stripe is yellow. in the middle of the flag a white horizontal line is overlayed, which overlaps the 4th and 5th stripes somewhat. in the center of the flag, a horizontal white hourglass shape is also overlayed. under the white stripe and center graphic, the 5th stripe is a dark blue, then there is a medium blueish purple stripe, then a cool medium purple stripe and finally a light violet stripe which once again has the same white bump overlay that's also on the top edge of the flag. The second image is nearly identical, but has an overlay of white confetti]

The OFMD team was so smart not to release any content while Good Omens was having it's moment because remember the sheer CHAOS that was unfolding when GO was 2 months before release. The Internet was losing it's fucking mind. And now OFMD is two months away.

While I was away I kept thinking about Chūya's ugly haircut, and I came to a simple conclusion as to why it looks... Like... that.

(Little thing to keep in mind before proceeding: Cutting your hair symbolizes letting go of the past.)

During Stormbringer, his hair is tied into a basic ponytail, it's evenly cut, and in full height. Why? Because he didn't have to let go of the flags yet. He was surrounded by people who cared about him, and he was so close to finding the truth of his past.

The flags were there for him until they weren't, things went to shit, and he might never fully get over it, but he's healing.

In dead apple, we see a seventeen year old Chuuya with short hair again, he's back to his fifteen hairdo.

He grows it out a little after that, and if you look at the dark era LN cover, which takes place a year later, you can see that Chūya's hair is somewhat equally cut.

It's slightly longer, but it's evenly cut to an extent, because the one constant in his changing life is still there.

That constant is Dazai, he was present whenever shit went down in Chūya's life, one way or another. He may have been a piece of shit most of the time, but he was there... until he wasn't.

We all know how things went after Oda death. He leaves the Port Mafia, and bombs Chūya's car in the process.

Oh, that's weird... You'd think he'd cut his hair again, but he only did... Half? Why's that you might wonder, well, there's an explanation that comes to mind.

He didn't fully let go of Dazai because of the sheer fact that he is alive. He's not fully gone, but he was gone from Chūya's life for a long while, until he came back. Chūya let go of the Port Mafia executive Dazai Osamu, because he was no more, and now he has the armed detective agency's favorite suicidal dumbass.

Do you think he'll cut his hair short again? Who do you think would be the reason? I'm placing my beliefs in either Dazai or Koyō, hell maybe even Tachihara.

Edit: I realized that the only way I can confirm this theory is to look at beast, so I did, and...

I think it's somewhat even-ish, but I can't really tell tbh.

Okay yeah it's not, but I'm still holding onto my theory, he probably cut half of his hair because at some point in time, probably when Dazai found out about the book, and Oda, he died on the inside, only alive in body... Until he wasn't.

Whenever I get hyperfixated on a show or podcast or whatever, I like to commemorate it by making one of these weird bad embroideries and hanging it on what I call my Wall of Hyperfixations.

I'm not good at embroidery, and I don't really care to be. It's just a silly, fun thing I do while I watch my favorite shows, and it makes me happy.

Remember kids, it's okay to be bad at something and do it anyway because it brings you joy.

Around two weeks ago, I decided to draw every single Lifesteal SMP member. Yesterday I finished it!! :D So happy with all the designs ive come up with for this group of block people that live RENT FREE in my head.
