How do you feel about the things going on in Boston?

Staten Island: They are being meanies to the crown! It is soooo rude! Why should we be rude to our protectors?! The only reason the regulars had to show up there because they were doing no good like throwing out all that tea a few years back! But the rest of my province has mixed feelings, most want to stay as uninvolved with this as possible, then there are those off who disrespect and respect the crown.

How was the 60s and 70s for you guys?
Manhattan: I’m taking this over, so let’s stick with the sixties for now. Nationally, we’re seeing a shift in culture and a lot of political change. So we see various Civil Rights groups demanding equality for minorities, the LGBT+ community, people with disabilities, and women. There were also some anti-war and environmental consciousness groups.
So here in Manhattan, on June 28th, 1969, the Stonewall riots begin which begins the modern LGBT+ movement. At the time, I personally did not get involved since more than now being part, or associated with the community was heavily stigmatized.
Okay, then we see the Brooklyn Navy Yard close after 160-year history, Tim was kinda sad about it, or whatever.
Finally, there was white flight, which began in the 1950s and continued into the 1960s. As more minorities move into urban centers, white residents moved out and into the surrounding suburbs. And a lot of cities needed their businesses, so there’s a massive economic black hole that is created... And that’s the 60s, or at least more specifically here.
