So uh not to be weird but i just saw your tags on the "left/right vagina post" and i am one of the folks with a split uterus and vagina and if i were to wear tampons(i don't, it is incredibly, mind-numbingly painful to even get one in) i would have to wear 2 at a time to actually stop the flow because one would just stop half. Also my period starts in each half on slightly different days so my periods have the illusion of being about 12 days even tho it's only about 8

Oh weird (in a cool way)! I thought the egg would only end up in one uterus, and that one would bleed, but I guess that's not the case.

This sort of stuff is so interesting! Bodies are so unique and cool, I wonder how much we are going to learn about them going forward. Hopefully fixing the pain issue is soon, bc period pain sucks.

I also have issues with tampons (only worn one in my entire life and it hurt so bad), so I mainly used pads. A few years back I got a mooncup so I've been using that. It also hurts but only during insertion. But I'm assuming trying to insert anything is a no-go if it's split all the way? At least anything designed for a one-hole-vagina.

(Also what are the odds of someone with split uterus/vagina seeing that post AND someone who knows someone with it seeing it (me)? Maybe this condition is more frequent than I thought? My sisters nurse when she was having the baby also had a split vagina!)

ok but actually smthn that’s so cool about the olympics is how insanely wide the range of body types is. like put simone biles next to lebron james next to ilona maher next to katie ledecky next to sha’carri richardson. not a single one of them looks anything alike but they’re all at the absolute peak performance for their respective sports. idk i just think it’s awesome to see just how varied humans are and how no matter what body type you have, there’s some sort of sport that’s full of people who look like you <3

so a few days ago my class got to see a collection of rare books and i got to hold and touch them and these are rare, rare, books. and they are ancient books. i mean 600, 700 years old. and i got to touch them??? it was the most surreal experience of my life, and it felt like i was holding onto all the generations that had passed before me and held those books. i could see the literal fingerprints of the people who had annotated and read these books and it took everything in me not to cry at the though of it. people loved these book so much they saved them for hundreds of years!!! they didn’t care about the historical value when they preserved them, they were just their favorite books!!! and my poor heart almost couldn’t stand the flood of pride in humanity i felt at that moment.
