Patrick 100%,, like he's such a compelling character? (in the book moreso than in the movie imo) get me another guy who cooks a jellyfish, i'll wait. no but in the book, when he goes on and on how he doesn't feel like a person and how he doesn't feel he's there and all that- i felt that! felt the same things. i think bc of those human things a lot of ppl can relate to him somewhat? at least on that psychological level. but also he's funny? name me another guy who has a 300 step skincare routine, and directs his own porn movies. obviously fuck him for maybe murdering those people, slurs, and being a genuine menace to society but gooood does he make a compelling character.

uhh but also evelyn!! i love a blonde girl, like it's my nauture, i'll always love a blonde girl. make her bitchy and i'll love her even more. but i also love her in relation to patrick (bc we really don't get a lot of her) and their weird relationship. and also while we're on that, the only women he dates (sans jean) are women he's a little bit,, not scared, but like idk weirdly afraid of? or not afraid but there's deffinetly some complex feelings involved. in the book he fucking almost has a heart attack when meeting up with an ex,(he's mentiones how he always wants her aproval i think? maybe i'm making that up i don't remeber, but then he publicly embarasses her to get that power back) and he never seems to kill evelyn despite her always getting up on his nerves. and also the same thing happens to evelyn, he embarasses her (in a less obvious to everyone way)and then breaks up with her and then she makes a scene. it's the women he doesn't date that get fucked most of the times, courtney, jeanette (yo don't let me get strated on jeanette) other women in the book. omg this getting entirely too long haha sorry

OMG SAKUSANA.... its been a while

when I started shipping it if I did: I started to consider shipping it wayy back in 2017!! Honestly speaking, i shipped them jokingly since they were the leftovers from the main human protag quatret. It evolved on its own after that and i started to pay more attention to them than Reimari at one point lol.

my thoughts: ITS SO CUTE!! Sakuya's elegant but herbo-like manurisms contrasting with Sanae's gentle nerdiness is such a peak ship dynamic!! I really really wish people would consider them more 😭😭

what makes me happy about them: the above and the fact that i feel like they can get along with eachother very nauturally despite their contrasting personalities! Plus I feel like Sakuya's lowkey empty headed nature when it comes to anything outside SDM Duties/Fighting makes for a very entertaining dynamic where she questions why Sanae makes her feel so fluttery.

I also feel like they'll come toghether to be ReiMari's voices of reason LMAO

-Fuyuko: A light blue and white kitsune, only haveing 4 tails each with a light blue fire above them. constantly drunk, she has a very bubbly personalnality flrting alot. being a kitsune she can change her form at will normally keeping the light blue color and smell of sake.

-ViVi: a peppy cyber cat girl. she may seem innocent but she has a high body count (if you know what i mean) in addtions to her normal cat features she has glowing mech-like armor on her fore arms on legs (visual ref)

Transcend Into The Present

People in this western culture put new ideas on the back burner and focus on material wealth. We run around like slaves in a system we don't understand. We like to see ourselves as independents instead of as an ant in an anthill, all working for the greater good. We have trouble confronting conflict and have a learned sense of helplessness. We would rather give up our rights than give up our numbing comforts. Instead of transcending into the present moment whenever we can, we consistently evade it with worrisome thoughts and emotions. We will throw beauty aside for our devotion to the dollar. The dollar will give us freedom and give us life, so we are told. We are all the same as we are all human. Though this does not mean we are all equal. Equality is a myth pounded into us over and over again by our government, teachers, parents and authority figures. True equality will prosper when greed is not alive. Though it seems greed lives in all of us for the fight of survival.
