🍃...
You've been craving your man since days now. You rarely see him and even in bed, the time you always share together, he doesn't cuddle with you. It's not a secret he's fed up with work and has a lot of responsibility to take care of but where are you?
It started when he came home very late, immediately jumping into bed without giving you a graceful kiss. Normally the first thing he does is compliment on how beautiful you look but now he doesn't even look at you. It pains you. Are you invisible now? Does he have someone new he cherishes more than you? But you're his partner!
It got worse when Jing Yuan didn't eat the food you made. You always put so much effort in it. You prepare his favorite meals with so much love and care. Now he doesn't bother to eat three full spoons. What's up with him? Does he notice?
In the morning he wakes up really early and is at work before your first eye opens. You won't hear from him until the late evening. Not even a short message will arrive your phone.
His neglectful behavior hurts you and your self esteem. Are you ugly? Are you too less? Is there something wrong with you? Do you smell bad? Is your food horrible?
Does he still love you?
The past days you're dealing with inner trouble, no peace settling and only hurtful thoughts. You feel alone among so many people. You asked friends what Jing Yuan does all day and either they don't know or answer with "he's working as usual". You're questioning so many things. Can't Fu Xuan help him? She's always there to take care of his missions.
Even if she already does, can't you help him? Why doesn't he ask for help if he's so busy? Why doesn't he accept the care you're desperately trying to give him? It hurts so much. You're lonely, no one really gets your feelings. Most of your friends only suggest to wait for a quieter time but when will a single peaceful day come? Seemingly never!
You can't live with the feeling of being not enough and you decide to talk to him. He doesn't appreciate you or what you're trying to give him. It makes you mad. If he doesn't want you he should just tell you and not handle you like trash. You're not invisible and you have a right to be loved. The only confidence left in you took over and made you approach your tall, busy man.
"Jing Yuan. We need to talk."
Your first words when he steps in the door, late at night, already bother him. He ignores you, changing his shoes, taking his jacket off and passing you without a single eye on you.
"Jing Yuan! We need to talk! Now!" You shout as he seems to be actively avoiding you. You grab his hand and with a little strength turn him around. He now looks at you the first time in the past week. His eyebrows raise.
"Whats up, y/n? It's late. I need to get up very early tomorrow morning." He isn't fond of you robbing his sleeping time. You don't care though as he didn't care for you the past week.
You scoffed in disbelief how little attention he spend you. "I'm sorry?! For what do you have to work soooo much that you can't even notice me?" You're mad. You wave your hands in front of his face, furious with his attidue. "Hello?! Can't you see me?! I'm right here!"
"Yeah I do see you and now?!" He gets mad as well. His eyebrows depended and his expression changed. Usually he's a calm, collected and caring boyfriend but now he's not Jing Yuan. He's someone else.
"No you don't! You didn't see me the whole week. I was invisible to you!" You feel tears shooting up your eyes as your emotions come up so fast.
"What are you trying to say, y/n? I did see you, we sleep in one bed? I'm just really busy with work-"
You can't hear his repeating excuses and break him off. Now tears run down your cheeks and you try to meet his gaze.
"No. No you don't. You ignored the food today as well. Yesterday too. The day before too. You don't give me a nice word, or a kiss, or a look, or a whatever. You don't! You don't! You don't!" You step back. You're mad. Hurt. Anxious.
"No, you're getting a wrong message, y/n." He comes a little closer but he still doesn't understand what's up with you. Why are you so mad out of a sudden?
"So you're telling me my emotions are lying? Or my eyes? If I get the wrong message it may be because the sender sends a wrong message! It's not my fault you're being hurtful and neglecting." You sit down in a chair and make yourself tiny. Your head rests on your knees and tears roll down, hitting the ground. Is he stupid or does he want to hurt you even more? You want to vanish from this room, this house and this planet.
Silence ruled between you. Jing Yuan reflected the past week. He can't remember any outfit of yours, not even the food you made. Normally it's so easy for him to recall memories he loves. He forgot how the feeling how your lips caused butterflies in his stomach. He forgot of your soft smile warms his heart. He didn't see you smile the week. He didn't see you at all.
Seeing you bawl your eyes out, crying in pain and sobbing in suffer he noticed how he has let you alone. He wasn't there for you at all. And the worse thing is he didn't even take you seriously when you had the courage to tell him.
He comes a little closer. You feel his big, gentle hand on your shoulder but to you it feels like a burn.
"I apologize."
It sounds honest but you can't believe him. What is an apology? It won't heal your inner dissatisfaction and it won't solve your insecurities.
"I'm so sorry, my love."
He apologizes again. His forehead meets yours and you feel his soft hair. His smell. His warmth. It hurts you so much.
Jing Yuan picks you up from the chair as you wouldn't make a move. He walks into your bedroom and lays you down in the bed. You're still crying but it lessens. He drags you into his arms, petting your head carefully.
"I'll pay more attention.. Thank you for being so brave to open my eyes, my love." Some tears leave his eyes and you feel them dripping down on you. Jing Yuan rarely cries. It is a sign to you how sorry he feels.
"I'll take you with me tomorrow, y/n. I won't leave you alone again. I'm so sorry!"

Yandere Jing Yuan x reader HCS
Tumblr media
Warning: Mentions of smut(Only a little), Yandere, Jing Yuan being controlling.
∘₊✧──────∘₊✧──────₊∘∘₊∘₊✧────
I can see Jing Yuan is a type of yandere who wants you to be by his side 24/7.
He only gives you only 1 hour a day to watch tv, If he catches you watching more than an hour he would remove the tv and take away your phone.
He buys you a lot of things, dresses, necklaces, clothes, etc.
He loves to sleep with you, and cuddling with you is one of his favorite things to do , even though you complain he is hugging you too tight he still does not let go.
He is always horny, One time you were sleeping and he came back from work, he wakes you up asking if you wanna have sex.(You said no and he kept on begging you the whole day.)
Before going to work he gives you a goodbye kiss, promises he will come back with a surprise, and tells you to behave while he is gone.
He set up a lot of CCTV cameras around your house just in case you escape.

can you do jingyuan from honkai star rail ?
aaaaaa my first request! and of course~
Jing Yuan: The Seer of Breath
Seer: The passive knowing class
One who sees their Aspect or one who sees with their aspect
Alternatively, one who understands their aspect or informs others of/with their aspect.
Breath:
Abstract: Freedom, Isolation, Detachment, Influence, Individuality, Movement, Direction, To be on a path
Literal: Actual Breath, Wind, Air, Flight
Tumblr media
Lets start off with the first half of his title: The Seer.
Seers in Homestuck are often known as the analysts in a group, for their role is to see their aspect or to see using their aspect. Their strengths lie in understanding their aspect and using what thy know to guide others towards their goals.
Seer of Mind Terezi, though never going god tier, had the ability to view the choices an individual could make and its consequences. Mind is concered with logic; choices. An intricate web of actions and consequences was at her disposal and she could choose to inform others which line would take everyone to victory. Once the timeline was doomed, she was able to guide John Egbert via a list of choices that he has to change , or influence, in order to avoid the chain reaction that causes their downfall.
Tumblr media
We will come back to Egbert later.
Next, there is Seer of Light Rose Lalonde, whom of which is given powers that allow her to clarify what was previously hidden. Light is the aspect of knowledge and fortune, therefore, Rose is able to present others with information that was previously unknown. In the early acts of Homestuck, Rose made a SBURB walk through by scraping as much info as she could in order to guide others through the confusing game.
Tumblr media
There is also another line spoken by Aradia, which surmises the role of a Seer pretty well
Tumblr media
As you can see here, Aradia calls the Seer class strategists, something that has been used to describe Jing Yuan quite often. This is especially when you consider the Path he is on:
Tumblr media
Yet that alone does not define how calculating and clever Jing Yuan truly is. The man was been given the title of Divine Foresight for a reason.
Tumblr media
During his first stellar expedition, Jing Yuan's ship was forced to land on an ocean world infested with parasitic jellyfish that can take over the minds of other lifeforms with the goal of converting their vessel into a hive.
It was Jing Yuan though who was able to identify the invaders the moment they appeared. He was also the one who came up with a plan to get rid of them, guiding his crew with what he learned about their enemy and leading them towards an outcome which turned out to be successful and earn him praise amongst the Cloud Knights as well as a promotion in their ranks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, lets talk about his aspect: Breath.
Those aligned with the aspect are known to be influential, leaving an impression to those they come across:
Tumblr media
With how everyone describes the man himself and his position as a centuries-old general, it sounds like Breath fits him to a "t" doesn't it? Garnering a reputation for being a drowsy man and a headache to work with, yet a not only a competent general, a successful one too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's safe to assume that everyone working in the Cloud Knights has some sort of opinion of the Divine Foresight. Especially to Yanqing, who is his retainer and to Fu Xuan.
Tumblr media
From here, there is more to say when talking about Jing Yuan through the lenses of someone who is a Seer of Breath rather than just discussing how he relates to either part of his title in isolation.
Let's talk about the character arc that all Seers take. A Seer starts off often blinded by their aspect's opposite. It is when they're able to rid themselves of what obfuscates their aspect could they start to learn about their aspect themselves and provide their insight on it for others.
Rose was once shrouded in Void, first confused by her mother's nonsensical affectionate shenanigans and again by Doc Scratch who pushed her over the deep end and turned her Grimdark.
And Seer of Blood Kankri, his aspect concerned with bonds and ties, was isolated by Breath. He was the only one of his blood color to be born on Beforus. Unable to belong or relate to any of the existing blood casts on his planet.
It's important to remember that Breath is also the aspect of Individuality; one deciding to take their own path in life.
Tumblr media
A small example could be found in the short dialogue present in the Light Cone "Before Dawn". A subordinate of Jing Yuan's warns him of the consequences of making a huge decision, of how it could impact his legacy. Jing Yuan replies saying how he doesn't care how his choice affects him.
Tumblr media
We know a little about Jing Yuan's past, but from what we can glean off of his character stories we learn that he was born to a family of scholars and was expected to continue their family's legacy of becoming important officials for it was in their blood.
It was during a ceremony that the infant Jing Yuan has decided what he'll become for himself and threw away any expectation his family had for him:
Tumblr media
Then we have his relationship to his mentor, Jingliu.
Tumblr media
There is not much known about their time together, but it's apparent that they were close and that under her guidance Jing Yuan became an excellent sword-wielder.
Under her training, Jing Yuan had came face to face with people he once knew become corrupted and mad, Mara-struck. During a fight with someone we can assume has has know for a while, he hesitates killing him. He doesn't kill him right away because of their bond.
Long after that, Jing Yuan then had to make a choice that battle with his Mara-struck mentor in front of him. It was during that battle that he decided to not let his bond with his mentor hinder him and free her of her affliction, no matter how painful it was to him. He knew that this was the best decision for both her and the Xianzhou.
It's there where I would consider him ascending towards his role as a Seer of Breath.
Tumblr media
The current Jing Yuan has come into his own since then, being able to lead the Xianzhou into years of peace under his leadership. This would also translate well into him being a good Seer of Breath right?
Why don't we look into the game of chess that the Dive Foresight and Master Diviner play together:
Tumblr media
Not Fu Xuan but the gif helps to visualize.
Jing Yuan has an affinity for playing chess, a game of wits and war. A game that requires the player to not only be several steps ahead of their opponent, but also to be able to predict their next moves and plan accordingly for their victory to be possible.
A game that Fu Xuan is confident she can win in.
Tumblr media
There is a question that the General proposes to the Master Diviner: Why does chess use round pieces yet is played on a square board.
Fu Xuan answers with the claim that a chess game mirrors the old beliefs of a flat earth and a domed sky, represented by a square board and circular pieces respectively.
Her opponent however, only half agrees.
Tumblr media
The checkered pattern represents the fixed motions that a piece could take and the roundness of a piece represents an individual.
With those perimeters set and his experience in war, Jing Yuan was able to identify what set of moves he needed in order to win the game before organizing his pieces to execute them. With subtly and suavely, he was able to beat Fu Xuan, despite her clairvoyance.
Tumblr media
A more recent example would be during the end of the Windswept Wanderlust quest, in which Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan have a conversation of the origins of the Stellaron. The Master Diviner still believes that Kafka and the Stellaron Hunters were the ones who planted it, but the Divine Foresight thinks otherwise:
Tumblr media
Even he had suspicions that the Stellaron Hunters weren't the ones behind the chaos, and Kafka had confirmed his notions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition to this, Jing Yuan has not only already known where the stellaron is in advance, but also has predicted the movements of the opponents next move and placed the Cloud Knights in a position to corner them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jing Yuan is an excellent leader and an amazing strategist, being able to accurately predict his enemy's movements and deal with them accordingly, he is befitting of one who is the Seer of Breath. Despite his laid back and seemingly lazy attitude, he is able to keep a watchful eye of the Xianzhou's Luofu and maintain tranquility through diverting the movement of trouble rather than solving it once it appears.
Although this analysis states that his arc as the Seer of Breath is complete, there is still a lot in store for our Divine Foresight. As of the time of writing this, Jing Yuan does not have a lot of screen time and his tale isn't quite done yet. There is more for us to see of not just him...
Tumblr media
But for his retainer too, if his prediction comes to fruition.

Master Negotiator
I got around to playing the new event, and I remembered how much I love Jing Yuan! Good for me! So I wrote this, please enjoy! :D
Characters: Yandere!Jing Yuan x Fem!Reader Fandom: Honkai Starrail Warnings: Yandere, Mentioning of Captivity, Dub-Con touches and intentions, Negotiating with the captor for the sake of wanting something
Tumblr media
"Look at the beautiful flower that graces me with her presence."
Lowering the scroll in his hands, Jing Yuan didn't hesitate to hold out his hand towards you, beckoning you closer as you stood there, anguished by the sight. The way this man could lounge casually, with no worries etched into his face while yours was laid in scorn was yet another testament to the power he had over you. One you wanted to dismiss but had run out of options to do so a long time ago.
He had all the time in this world to hold out his hand while yours seemed to trickle away like sand through the gaps in your fingers.
A smile captured his lips as you placed your palm in Jing Yuan's, his grip tightening greedily in the wake of your acceptance of his invite. His pull wasn't strong, it didn't hurt; but in a swift motion, he had placed you at his side on top of the lounge, back braced against his thigh so you may be comfortable sitting while he brought the back of your hand up to his face, pecking a few, devoted kisses.
"Do you enjoy your new wardrobe?" he asked absentmindedly as he watched his hand fall to your thigh, the high slit of the traditional dress he had you dress up in giving him all the range to run his fingertips along you leg. The underside of your thigh tickled as he left a trace of his featherlight touch from his calloused hands behind, and you straightened your posture and cleared your throat, not wanting to give him the wrong idea that you'd enjoy any of it.
Jing Yuan grinned at your reaction, letting you know he decided to misinterpret it anyway.
"I don't care much for it; the color isn't a favorite of mine."
"True," he mumbled, fascinated with the goosebumps erecting beneath his touch. "Because it is mine."
Lips parting in a boyish grin, like a child that had just opened his birthday present, you barely held back from rolling your eyes. Of course, it was; everything was his. His home, his decision, even you. Swatting at the hand caressing your leg, his thumb brushing up and down your skin gently in a gesture you could only call possessive, you uttered a quick, dismissive, "Yeah, right, well."
The hand didn't move, only stopped for a moment, even as you pried your fingers between your leg and his palm, never breaking eye contact with the man who held you captive for his own amusement. "General, we need to have a talk."
"Ooh," Jing Yuan lilted, but without letting go of your leg, he scooted up on the chaise, sitting properly this time instead of lounging. "We're back at General, that must mean my pretty flower wants something."
"Yes," you admitted, bracing yourself for being dismissed right then and there, even though you'd plead your case if necessary. But Jing Yuan remained silent, listening earnestly, boosting your confidence in the process.
"I want—" you started, taking a deep breath, "—a date."
His hand stopped moving. Time seemed to slow to a halt, an overwhelming silence filling the space between you two. "A date?" he finally said. "Why would you ask for that?"
It was an almost justified rebuttal to your demand. You didn't always have good intentions when you asked him to loosen the leash on you a little and let you roam. You had passed on many chances of trust from him in favor of trying to escape his grip on you, and they all ended badly for both of you—just in different ways.
"I heard the servants talk about a new tea shop, and I want to try it out with you."
"Interesting," was all that Jing Yuan had to say. He leaned back into the pillows, some of the tension you hadn't noticed before fleeing from his body. His thumb resumed caressing your thigh, and you let it, focusing on the matter on hand. He was smiling, but it wasn't very sincere this time. It meant he didn't intend to say 'yes'.
"And then? You're going to throw yourself over a railing again? Scream at the poor waiters of the tea shop to help you? Try to frame me as a villain?"
"You are—"
Catching yourself from hissing out how you really thought about him, you raised your hands pacifyingly instead. You were trying to get something from him, and throwing insults at your captor had never given you what you wanted. "Nevermind. I just wanted to spend some time with you since you were gone a lot as of late. It's okay if you don't want to. It was just a question."
Brushing your hands over the front of your dress, you patted your legs once before giving him a stern nod. "Good night."
It was a strategic move, one Jing Yuan appreciated very much. You saw the amused grin spread over his lips as you got up from your seat, his arm across your legs never moving away. You counted down the seconds, three, two, one, and with a squeak that was almost natural considering you were acting, you were scooped back into his arms and onto his lap, neither your back nor your head hitting the wooden backrest. As if he'd ever let you get hurt on his watch.
"Did you miss me?" he asked, hovering his face over ours. One hand was back to caress your thigh, but the other gently brushed along your nose and cheek, ultimately cupping your face. You thought of the countless answers you had devised when you made this plan, the numerous ways you wanted to answer but couldn't.
"A little," you whispered back, bashfully avoiding your eyes. You've gotten so good at playing him, something Jing Yuan had always told you. You were the only person who could do it—from whom he would allow it. He knew it was just a game, but you knew he enjoyed this more than true defiance—screaming, tears. Last time, you broke one of his table legs, and although the feat was impressive, he had been endlessly annoyed by the attitude you had shown.
This was more to his liking.
"So a little will make you go on a date with me, someone you say you hate more than anything in this world. If I were to stay away for, let's say, a year, what would that earn me?"
"Mhm," you hummed out loud, pretending to think about it. Raising three fingers into the limited space between your faces, you couldn't help but grin at your own charade. "Three dates?"
The jerk in the corner of his mouth was all you needed to see. Jing Yuan smiled a lot, no matter how he felt, but the joke seemed to have come across. "Just three?" he exclaimed in false horror, and you giggled before tucking in two fingers with only your pointer remaining upright.
"And one kiss."
"Now, that's a deal," Jing Yuan proclaimed, leaning forward to plant his lips on your temple before falling back. You let out a bated breath as you two watched each other intensely. The playful part of negotiation had settled, and as much as you hated yourself for pretending a role you never felt comfortable in, you were glad it went well. Things had been rough, and you had your fair share of punishments.
However, the root of the problem was something you weren't even sure Jing Yuan was aware of. As a long-life species, one would think he'd be familiar with the frustration and torture of being bored. Still, he didn't recognize the signs in the captive he claimed to love so much. Perhaps because, when you were with him, fights would ensure and arguments echo through the house. If it weren't the sounds of discontent, there were other activities you two would participate in—willingly or not.
It wasn't good for your health, but it wasn't exactly 'boring'.
"You know I can't take you outside."
It hurt to hear the words of the truth he had always defended himself with. "You are a target in the eyes of every enemy I have—and yourself."
"I understand that," you tried to reason, pulling your gaze away in favor of looking at the intricate details of the ceiling. "But this place is slowly killing me, Jing Yuan."
"How so?" he asked, a tinge of worry in his voice. His hand immediately reached for your wrist, checking your pulls in a not-so-subtle need to reassure himself.
"Every day you are gone, I am all by myself. I can't talk to anyone even if I look out the windows into the busy streets for hours, and the servants won't talk to me out of the fear you have instilled in them. You say you want to protect me, but the isolation is killing me more than any enemy of yours could. Every day is the same. The schedule you created for me is boring, so I won't get into trouble, but the monotony makes me yearn for any change, even the kinds you don't want me to think about."
Letting your head fall to the side, you watched the sternness edged into his face, his rules indisputable. But you had one more trick up your sleeve, the 'master stroke,' as he would say.
"You say you love me, but it's you who's killing me. I could never love a man who treats me as if he hates me, no matter what he says. I'll die never knowing if you meant what you said."
Rarely did the General of the Xianzhou Luofu lose his composure. He seldom showed weakness in front of anyone, especially you. If he let himself get dragged down, he knew you'd seize the chance to escape his power over you.
It made seeing the subtle, barely visible shifts in his expression all the more satisfying.
Worry, anger, realization, disgust, and resolution. The widening of his pupils, the baring of teeth, a brief look of surprise, followed by the dropping of his features almost as if in pain. And then, nothingness. Even if he didn't agree today, he'd think about what you said, hopefully for a long time. Perhaps it would cause him to right his way, although that seemed like a stretch. But you had made your point.
Slowly, with a slight groan, you sat up, looking around the room as if to stall time until he gave you his answer. It had all been show, until it got a tad too real for even your own liking. His hand around your wrist tightened, but you ignored the pressure as best as you could while you locked your eyes on the vase full of white flowers.
"Flowers wilt," you eventually concluded. "Even the beautiful ones."
And with that, you got up, Jing Yuan's hand falling from yours with reluctant defeat. You strode towards the exit, making a grand show of the feeble strength you still had by holding your head high despite having delivered the fatal news of your unhappiness and dismissal of his feelings.
"[Name]," he called out to you before you could reach for the door handle. You turned around, holding your head high as you faced him but keeping your expression as exhausted as possible. With Jing Yuan, you'd not fare well opposing him. Giving in had never been an option. But beating him at his own game? That was the way to go.
"Wear the other dress I bought you tomorrow. Prepare well since we'll spend the whole day in the city. I don't want you to be uncomfortable because of your shoes or jacket."
Annoyance seeped off him, from the way he was tapping his fingers on his thigh to the sharp gaze he shot your way. You approached him warily, the mask almost slipping as excitement threatened to burst out of you. This time, you moved quickly to his side, enveloping the hand he held out towards you graciously with both of yours as you planted yourself next to him on the floor.
Jing Yuan didn't need to say how much he liked the image of your thankfulness. The slight blush and appreciative glint in his eye were more than obvious.
"I take it we're going on a date then?"
You needed to hear it, and you needed him to confirm it. A deal was only a deal when he agreed wholeheartedly; these were the rules he had put in place.
"If my flower wants to go out, then she will. It will cost you this much, though."
Holding up three fingers, you jumped to your feet, leaning forward to give his cheek a big ol' smooch. Months ago, this would have been unthinkable—you showing affection towards him. But now you had new goals, new ambitions. And you needed Jing Yuan to be comfortable more than ever, even if it cost some of your dignity.
"One for now," you muttered, allowing the turning of his head until his lips were yours to capture. There was nothing innocent about the kiss. It was no less brutal and breathtaking in the way he demanded it as if it were a slash of his sword. But there lay sincerity and promise in the gesture, a mutual understanding that this win of yours would be on his terms, as well as a very subtle warning not to get ahead of yourself.
But by the time it was over, Jing Yuan moaned softly against your lips, signaling it was the perfect time to stop and tear away, leaving him wanting more. He'd have it if he kept his word. "And two once you took me on our date," you whispered seductively, your breath caressing his face in a way that was driving him wild. You brushed your thumb over his lips, and Jing Yuan let out a small chuckle.
"I've trained you so well," he muttered. The comment should have made you angry, derogatory and dismissive as it was. As if it hadn't been you who put all the effort into pulling this spiel off just so you could go on a date with him. As if it wasn't you who had to hide her disgust and hatred for this man who was ruining your life.
"I look forward to our date," you replied, not playing into what he wanted for the sake of your plan. If you started arguing now, it would have all been for naught. But all the acting, all the holding back finally paid off as Jing Yuan chuckled, averting his eyes and accepting his defeat for the night.
"I'll see you in the morning then, Master Negotiator."
"Likewise, General."

Could you please do Jing yuan trying to comfort is s/o when they r crying? I just imagine him to be like some sort of cuddle bug tryin to comfort his lover 😭🩷
Jing Yuan comforting his crying s/o
Jing Yuan x neutral!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note: Thank you very much for requesting! I love this idea and I had a lot of fun writing it. Comforting headcanons always cheer up your not so bright days. 🤎 I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
🤎 Despite his busy routine and the weight of his responsibilities as a General, Jing Yuan is incredibly gentle and understanding when it comes to comforting you. He understands that everyone needs a shoulder to cry on, and he is more than willing to be that strong, comforting presence. Jing Yuan will most likely ask you about your discomfort before you open up, making it easy for the two of you to cope with whatever you go through.
🤎 Jing Yuan has a way with words that can soothe even the most troubled soul. He knows just what to say to make you feel heard and validated. His words are like a warm embrace, wrapping you in a comforting cocoon of reassurance. Besides giving you lovely compliments, he’ll tell you what solutions you could chase after and what the two of you can do to solve your issues. Of course he is there for you when you need him, but he’s also there to always help you out.
🤎 Though, sometimes, the best way Jing Yuan can comfort you is by simply being there. He may take a break from his busy schedule to sit in silence with you, holding your hand or offering a comforting hug. His presence alone is often enough to provide solace. He tends to not ask questions when he notices you breathing hysterically. In times you hyperventilate, he stays silent or softly hums melodies of songs you often listen to together. Pushing your limits to the breaking point with comments or questions isn’t his way at all.
🤎 Jing Yuan is very protective of his lover. If the source of your distress is external, he will go to great lengths to ensure your safety and well-being. His determination to keep you safe is a source of comfort in itself. He is unable to view you fearing the future, fearing certain places, fearing yourself; he needs you safe and sound. Jing Yuan won’t solve issues the violent way but he’s not afraid to use his high position to fight off anything - or anyone - that could potentially hurt you.
🤎 He knows that little surprises can go a long way in brightening your depressed mood. He might leave a poetic note or a small gift for you to find when you’re feeling down, showing that he's always thinking of your well-being. Like everyone, you sometimes prefer to stay alone in order to settle your chaotic mind; in times like these Jing Yuan gifts you love poems, small sticky notes or a single flower in front of your room.
🤎 Jing Yuan mastered the art of making soothing herbal teas for you. He'll prepare your favorite tea in your personalized cup and serve it to you, encouraging you to sip slowly and relax as the warmth of the tea calms your senses. From time to time he hears you crying in the night. He knows you’ll calm down with some warm, not too hot, tea and his arms around you. Even though tiredness also haunts him, he’s never too tired to make you a cup of tea, or hot milk with honey, or whatever you want. Then, he’ll sit down, pet your back and wrap you in a thick blanket.
🤎 Although he often appears reserved, Jing Yuan is willing to share his own vulnerabilities with you. He might open up about his own challenges, creating a sense of mutual understanding and connection. Only if it fits the situation though, since he doesn’t want to turn your struggles into a competition. Still, you appreciate his open mind as he rarely expresses his own struggles in life. He’s more the type to eat it all up.
