Some photos of Liam at the 2013 1D concert in Perth I went to, taken by my best friend at the time. I'm so fortunate I was able to see 1D the handful of times they came to my country while together. I have been a fan since xfactor and they mean more to me than I think I could ever express. I have travelled the world and met so many amazing people and persevered through horrible life events thanks to this band. When I was 15 I was in a really dark period and One Direction were quite literally my only light. If it weren't for Liam there would be no One Direction and if it weren't for One Direction, I would not be here. I truly do not know how to comprehend that part of my light is gone but I do know that I am so grateful to have had him and this community for half of my life. I hope you rest easy, Liam, and I hope you somehow feel the importance of your life even in death. I'm so sorry. I will miss you deeply.

Paleolithic Media Catalogue

Hello everyone :) Short story first: When I began brainstorming for my prehistoric story, I started wondering what other prehistoric fiction there is out there. I was not familiar with it and have not seen much. That's when I started my grand literature review and began a search for what fiction exist out there. I wanted to know what kinds of stories are being made with this time period. What are the common themes or recurring ideas (I found lots of humans and dinosaurs works. And time travel). Since I've had a growing collection on my computer, I decided I should keep on enlarging it and put it online. It's nowhere near complete. I'll slowly keep accumulating the collection as I find more. I only have fiction books and comics right now. I still need to work on the film section.

As for where I am in my reading, the one's I've finished reading are Earth's Children series (book 1-4. Dropped it afterwards lol. I made a post on with fanart) Dance of the Tiger and it's sequel Singletusk (They were good! I'll upload my review on the blog), and Sisters of the Wolf (It was ok!). I got my hands on The Inheritors and excited to start reading it. I REALLY want to read the Shiva trilogy, but I found no PDF online... and it's out of print :( There is certainly old copies on ebay. And I want to read Chronicles of Ancient Darkness. There seem to be lots of good books out there.

In early 20th century Germany, you could go visit the shows of the so called "Clever Hans". Hans was a horse who earned the title of "clever" by being able to, among other things, solve mathematical problems, keep track of time, read the calendar and spell German words. During the spectacle, the questions usually were asked by his owner, the teacher Wilhelm von Osten. Hans always answered by stomping his foot the correct amount of times, to the amazement of his growing audience. Of course, Hans couldn't do any of those things. He could, however, notice the subtle, subconscious hints Wilhelm von Osten and the audience gave when he had reached the right answer. A very own commission found that out later, as they discovered that Hans only then could solve a question if the person asking it already knew the answer. Otherwise, he just kept on stomping. Proving he was no scientific miracle, but an ordinary horse. And sometimes I feel like that is me, you know. Like everyone thinks I'd be more than I actually am, watching me expecting greatness. Yet all I do is stomp, waiting for that slight head tilt, that small sign of approval. And one day, they will find out I am fraud, just like Hans was. It don't even think they will need a commission this time. But until then I'll do my show. I'll be your clever girl for now.

Papyrus is not going to be Kris's age, everyone else who we know from the other game got aged up if anything, so it makes no sense for the opposite to happen to him.

About his brother asking us to hang out with him, and calling him little or whatever, I have two takes: First, it's time to stop taking sans' opinion of him as cold hard facts. Look at how he acts in the other game, yes yes he cares for him and asks us to be nice, but please look at the bigger picture, which is that he would confide in a kid he just met about how his brother is naive enough to be deceived by a fucking echo flower prank. Papyrus doesn't help because he consistently dumbs down what he is saying when his brother is present (such as calling snow ice cream, or pretending not to know what a laboratory is, but clearly knowing when sans isn't around). Also, sans makes childish jokes all the time, so he might just be making a lighthearted joke at his brother's expense by inviting a teenager, because Papyrus might be a shut-in (in undertale he remarks on his house being his favourite place so maybe). I am not assuming malice from sans, but have some healthy skepticism towards the guy who makes "ur mom" jokes at some kid

Second possibility: THERE IS A THIRD BROTHER (my favourite take and I'm not serious about this one. but IMAGINE.)

And don't take this in bad faith that I'm saying sans might think his brother to be less capable than he is- it is implied, and Papyrus plays along. It would absolutely not be the first time in the game for a well-meaning character to make mistakes or not have the full grasp on what the person they intend to look out for is capable of-

Hm I wonder who... oh right, Toriel! sans's friend! coincidence haha She means well but is so absorbed in wanting to mean well that she loses sight of what that person actually needs. She also treats the human like they are less capable than they really are, and asks a third party to look out for us (as sans does with papyrus). Meaning well in itself does not mean you are doing no harm. I think the general attitude to Papyrus, in universe and in fandom, is a good example of that.

Hrmm... Revising my game and I feel like there's still sooo much writing left to do, for something that probably won't even amount to much, so.. I do want to narrow my focus more (especially given my health problems seeming to get worse/less energy the past few years), but I'm not sure how would be best to...

I currently have 5 characters as the Main ones with full planned questlines and such, with each character having 6 quests you can do for them. But I haven't really started the writing for the 5th main character. So then I was thinking, if I were going to write 6 full quests worth of content anyway... is it better to allocate that time on just doing a Complete 6 Quests for ONE single character, OR would it be better to do something like.. choose THREE side characters and do 2 quests for each of them? So that people have a wider variety to interact with and sort of sample around (of course with the idea that, once the first version of the game is released, IF people actually care about it enough to make it worth the effort, I would then add additional content to complete those 3 characters stories as well)

SO... If you were playing an interactive fiction sort of game centered around talking to & doing quests for a cast of characters (like there's no larger plot, more it's just about interacting with people, every character kind of has a self contained story, the focus is just learning about them and the world and exploring the area) --- Which would you rather have?

(and of course it would be stated up front which characters have only partial questlines, so people don't expect them to have full quests like the others and then get disappointed, or etc. etc.)

Basically, is it better to just focus in specifically on having one fully complete questline? Or for there to be a few stories that are not complete yet, but have more initial options available?
