With a cover date of December, 1989, Marvel released the first of two Super-Sized Alf Holiday Specials (the second was released the following year with a cover date of December, 1990). The special contained multiple winter themed stories involving Alf and the Tanner family. On this day in 1989, Marvel released the first issue of Police Academy, an adaptation of the comedy film and its six sequels, by writer Angelo DeCesare and Howard Post.

Yes, there were six sequels to the original Police Academy film, a raunchy comedy that debuted in 1984. Over the course of the films, it evolved into more family friendly fare, spawning this comic series (which I think was actually part of Marvel's kid-targeted Star Comics line) and eventually an animated series and a TV show. The first movie is arguably the best, which isn't saying much, as most of them were terrible. But hey, they managed to milk this franchise for the better part of a decade, and they helped launch the careers of Steve Guttenberg, Bobcat Goldthwait, sound effects master Michael Winslow and more.

The comic lasted for six issues, and while a seventh issue was teased, it was never published.

i honestly think the ghoul believes lucy is just full of shit until she gives him those vials. like he does not believe she is genuinely that good of a person because no one is that good of a person anymore, and because she is the product of vault-tec middle-management. he is constantly expecting her to show her "true colors" (hence "there you are, you little killer" after she bites off his finger) until that moment when she chooses to help him despite the fact that he's done nothing to deserve her kindness. COMPELS ME!!!!
