I think after episode 14 we know bughead will be back. We saw that during those last 7 years Betty was constantly on jugheads mind and he kept coming back to her every time something happened to him, both good and bad. And although I believe the writers aren’t very smart or sophisticated this season, they wouldn’t plant those Seeds if they aren’t planning on getting them back together again
that's sort of the point, isn't it?
if you were just watching the show, what would you think is coming?
listen, it's all anecdotal but has no one else noticed the pattern of b/a aggressiveness and the ramping up of their theories and harassment every time we get good bughead stuff? just me? even just the promo of 5x16 has set them off.
(they definitely do it after anything b/a happens, including breathing the same air but it's particularly angry after good bughead stuff)
do you think they do that because they're confident in what's going to happen? i get harassed a lot. like, a lot. even when i was posting some of their troll asks, it was a small look at it. my inbox is actually filtered tbh (well, it was, x-kit crapped out on me and i have to redo it and find out who it unfollowed for me so if you see me creeping, no you didn't, ha) so a lot of it i wasn't even seeing so their time was wasted in the first place.
they jump on every little thing outside of what happens in the show because it's pretty much all they have. interviews, emojis, stills with no context all becomes a new headcanon because canon gives them pretty much nothing.
and sure, we can all make fun of the show's bad writing (we do) but we've already seen things that didn't quite make sense but now fit with more information. betty being standoffish with jughead on more than one occasion or looking nervous to talk to him now fits into their story because we know the why of it.
i can't say that i'd put betty and archie sitting next to each other and them smiling over their friend's baby down as foreshadowing. especially when it was the first time they were even near each other since 5x08. veronica made the same cooing baby love faces. is she also pregnant? what real foreshadowing do they think is telling the story of betty being pregnant? she had sex? she smiled at a baby?
i'm not being dismissive, i have no idea how they came up with this other than they all just decided they liked the sound of it. can anyone come up with a moment in the show that made them think it before someone on twitter decided that sex = babies? and sitting together 7 episodes after the last time they spoke isn't foreshadowing in my opinion so something other than that.
and sure, i'm biased but i could probably make a a decent sized list (with gifs because it happened onscreen) to show why i think bughead is coming back. and that's the crux of it for me, it happened on the screen and i saw it with my own eyes. no amount of b/as trying to diminish what we saw can actually erase it. so. yeah. i agree with you.
i've remained positive. i've never had a date i said i needed bughead to get back together by. i've said this show doesn't do slowburns and i've said that i don't enjoy the grimdark misery plot that they're giving us, especially when the heart of the show (the relationships between the characters—friendship and otherwise) is missing from the crazy plotlines. and i'm side-eyeing the supernatural hints because this show doesn't have good storyline follow-through but i've also always said this show isn't subtle.
because it's not.

Best 20 Bucks ever (August Corbin x reader)
Okay so I was asked to another Corbin story and this is what I came up with. No smut this time around but Corbin with babies and reader being done with peoples shit.
Like I have said before, August Corbin is from Sleepy Hallow. BUT this is NOT a Sleepy Hallow story. I just took the man and name from that show. I hope you all enjoy!
Gif found on the interwebs
When your Grandma left the house to you, your Aunts and Uncles agreed with the changes to the will. Unfortunately your Grandma’s sister didn’t. She believed that the house and everything in it should have gone to her and her kids, she was “Your Grandma’s sister after all.” and it was a family home that had been passed on to your Grandma by their parents. The thing was, when your Grandma had been sick, neither her sister nor her sisters' kids were there to help. Hell they weren’t even around when she got better.
So when the towns folks found out about you dating Corbin most had been happy, but the select few that weren’t, had your distant family putting ideas and thoughts into their heads. For the most part, whenever they showed up at the dinner or had an issue that required the law you and Corbin stayed away and let the others deal with them.
~~
You should have known that something was going to go down when you saw your Great Aunt and her children walking into the diner. Of course it had been busy so you weren’t given enough time to think about it. Instead you greeted them like you would anyone else and made your way to the pick up window to grab the order that just came up. Walking back to the counter you were busy placing your next order in the system when the hostess came and stood next to you.
“Kinda got a problem and I was left in a bind.”
Almost instantly you knew what her problem had been. Letting out a sigh, you turned to the young girl and smiled.
“What did they make you do, Kim?”
“They all but demanded that they be seated in your section. They believe it is wrong that you refuse to wait on them. But they had a party of seven so they couldn’t sit in your last open spot.”
Laughing, you shook your head.
“Doesn’t sound like a problem to me.”
“It wouldn’t be, but that evil woman had smiled and told me that it was alright. That they would sit at the next table, but that she wanted her granddaughter and the guy she is with to sit at your table. I find it kinda odd that she would bring her whole family on a date.”
Instead of laughing you felt your heart drop, because you knew that your Great Aunt only had one Granddaughter and she was already in a hush hush relationship with her boss. So you knew they were plotting something. Looking at the table you began to shake, more so out of anger.
“Y/n, are you okay? You're really pale, but I can see in your eyes that you are pissed off?”
Turning to look at Kim you smiled lightly and nodded your head.
“I am fine, they just took it too far this time.”
You quickly finished putting the order in the system before grabbing two glasses of water. Taking a deep breath you then made your way to the table. You didn’t need to look at Kim to know that she was telling the others you were upset by the new guest. And if you had anyone to bet with you would have bet that in the next 30 minutes either August or one of his deputies would be walking into the diner.
Setting the glasses down you weren’t even able to get a word out before your Great Aunt was speaking from the next table.
“Look who we found y/n! We ran into Tom while visiting family last week and when we learned that you two had dated I just knew we needed to bring him this way so that you guys could see each other again.”
Plastering a smile on your face you nodded to your Great Aunt before turning back to the table. Looking at your distant cousin you couldn’t help but put her on the spot as you spoke a little louder then needed.
“Betty, I heard that there were some issues at the shop the other night and that it had you and your boss there extra late. I also noticed that you and him were the only ones not at the high school game a few weeks back.”
Taking a drink of her water you watched as Betty looked down at the table and you couldn’t help but genuinely smile as her Mother spoke from the next table.
“That’s my Betty. Always staying late to help her boss close. While he told me the other day that out of all his employees Betty is the sweetest and he doesn’t know what he would do without her.”
You had to bite your lip from saying “Probably his wife” because you weren’t going to play their games, but also because you knew that her boss's wife had known about the affair and was planning on letting them and everyone else know she knew, when they celebrated her birthday next week. Instead you nodded your head and smiled sweetly before turning to look at Tom. Almost instantly your smile dropped from your face as you spoke.
“Tom.”
Laughing loudly Tom stood and pulled you in for a hug.
“y/n! Surprise!” as Tom sat back down you couldn’t help but notice that the secretary for the station came in and made her way to the counter. Laughing at August’s subtle way of finding out what was going on you rolled your eyes as Tom continued to talk. “Imagine my surprise when I met your Great Aunt last week and learned that she was related to you. Why I think we spent a good couple of hours talking about me and you, didn’t we Ma'am?”
You couldn’t help but feel your skin crawl as your Great Aunt chuckled as she answered Tom.
“That we did. Why, I was so upset to learn that when he moved away you didn’t go with him y/n. He is such a sweet young man.”
Hearing your Great Aunt say young the way she had, had you taking a deep breath and speaking up. Unfortunately between both tables your nerves had been shot and you couldn’t help but say what was on your mind.
“Hmmm. Well just make sure you count all your money before this sweet young man leaves your house. Truthfully you should count yourself lucky that you weren’t younger yourself. Had you been, I am sure he would have sweet talked you into giving him more than all your money before he split like he did on me.”
You could see Tom turning red with anger as he shot up from his seat, but before you or him could say anything Dale was coming from the back and stepping next to you with his arm around your waist.
“Y/n, I knew I shouldn’t have let you work a double today, you're wearing yourself thin. Heck August is gonna kill me if he sees how tired you are. The other girls are gonna take over your tables. I want you to go home and rest, I am also giving you tomorrow off.”
Before anyone could say anything Dale was twisting you around and pushing you lightly to the back. As you walked away you tried to pretend that you weren’t crying, but you knew that everyone saw the tears falling down your face. Before the back door shut you could hear your Great Aunt’s voice raising and Dale’s voice raising to meet hers.
Walking into Dale’s office you waited for about 10 minutes before he walked in. Before you could even say anything though Dale was lifting his hand and shaking his head.
“Don’t you dare apologize. In mine and everyone else's eyes you did nothing wrong. In fact it has been a long time coming. It’s just too bad you didn’t let that evil woman really have it."
Laughing as you wiped away your tears you shook your head.
"Okay, I am not sorry for slightly losing it. But I am sorry for causing a scene. I can just imagine how many people are calling/telling August about this."
"He called me and I told him I would call him back after I checked on you. Just forget about tonight, go home and get some rest. We will see you in a couple of days."
Shaking your head you stepped up to Dale and the door. Kissing him on the cheek you began to walk away as you called over your shoulder.
"You'll see me tomorrow. They are just butt hurt that they can't have my house. And just like my house, they ain't getting my job."
Walking to the front you didn't look back at the tables but you knew they heard what you had said and that made you smile as Dale's laughter filled the back.
~~
You were woken up later that night, when you felt your bed shift and a large arm pulling you to the warm body behind you. A quick look at the clock showed it was just past midnight. Letting out a sigh you pushed yourself further into August. Even without saying anything you could tell he wanted to talk but at the moment you didn't. Rolling to face him you reached up and ran your hand over his cheek as you shook your head.
"Not tonight. I know we need to talk and I want to, I just can't tonight. You already know everything that happened between us. Right now I just want you to hold me."
Instead of saying anything August smiled down at you before quickly kissing you. Pulling away from the kiss he placed a hand on your head and pulled you to rest your head just under his chin. Between his breathing and the warmth that surrounded you, you were back to sleep instantly.
The next morning you happened to wake up before your alarm went off. Knowing that August was off today you slipped from bed as best you could without waking him. After a quick shower you walked into the kitchen to see August making coffee.
"Oh hell no. It is your day off. Get your ass back into bed."
Laughing at your slight outburst August pulled you to himself and placed his face into your neck.
"I will only go back to bed if you're with me."
Knowing that he wasn't going to let you go and that you couldn't break out you wrapped your arms around him and moved your head so that he could bury himself further into your neck.
"Dale told you he gave me today off and that I didn't take it?"
Standing straighter, August moved you so that you were against the counter next to the coffee maker. You couldn’t help but let out a yelp when he picked you up and placed you on the counter. Pulling your legs apart he stepped forward and rested his arms against your legs. Giving you a small smile August nodded his head.
“Dale did. I also knew you wouldn’t take the offered day off and that you would be going into work today.” Standing to his full height you watched as August began to fill his travel mug with coffee. “It so happens that Dale is down a cook, so I told him that I would help him out this morning. Now get that sweet ass of yours in the truck, we're gonna be late.”
Giving you a quick kiss, August helped you off the counter and smacked your ass to get you moving. A part of you was annoyed that August was being overprotective but another part of you was getting turned on by how August was showing his dominant side. Smiling you pushed yourself closer to him as you began to play with the collar of his t-shirt.
“This isn’t a good idea, Aug.” You could see that August was getting ready to argue so you began to shake your head. “No, no it’s not what you think. It’s because of you going all alpha male.”
Grabbing your hips, August shook his head.
“Isn’t that the same thing?”
Smiling, you brought your hand up and ran your fingers down his neck.
“Oh no. See I know you and I know that you aren’t going to throw your weight around and act all tough. You're going as my backup, you just want to be there in case it gets to a point I CAN’T handle it, and THAT is a major turn on. But the big issue and why this isn’t a good idea is because I remember that cook out and how good you looked grilling.”
Pulling you flushed against him August began to run his fingers down your chest.
“Oh, you mean that day you wore those shorts that showed off your legs amazingly and that low cut tank top? Guess it’s a good thing you aren’t wearing that top, damn I couldn’t keep my eyes off your chest.”
Pushing back you took a small step towards your bedroom.
“Oh, so you want me to change into it?”
Laughing as he grabbed your waist and pushed you to the door, August spoke into your ear.
“Hell no. I can’t blame the grill for burning the food like I did that day.”
~~
Just like you had thought, having August cooking was a mistake. He was doing everything he could to tease you and it was driving you crazy. It had been a slow morning so August was helping move things that Dale couldn’t anymore. And that meant you had to stand there and watch as August flexed and grunted, two things he knew drove you crazy.
You weren’t sure what was said after you left the following night but you had a feeling that Dale had told them not to ask questions because everyone looked like they wanted to but didn’t. Since it was the end of the week you and the other waitresses ended up rotating tables and that meant it was your time at the counter.
Hearing the bell ring above the door you turned away from August to see one of his deputies walking in with his wife and their newborn twins. Giggling with happiness you called them over to the counter and then yelled for August. Turning and seeing one of his men, August chuckled and made his way over. You and August have been to the couples house multiple times since the babies were born. But it was like seeing them for the first time every time. After explaining that they heard August was cooking for Dale they figured coming to get some lunch would be nice. Of course the minute August saw the babies, cooking went out the door.
You had been standing there watching August as he fed one of the twins when you heard a cough from beside you. Turning around any traces of your happiness left your face immediately.
"Tom. What the hell do you want?"
Keeping your eyes on Tom you could see August stand straighter at hearing you say Tom. Looking at him you noticed that Tom wore no smile on his face today.
"Those were some nasty things you said last night y/n."
"Because all of them are true."
“Listen, I came here at their request. They made it sound like I was going to be welcomed by you.”
“Why in the hell would I welcome you Tom? You literally took everything I had. I was kicked out of my home because you made me believe you had been paying the rent. I went into debt because of you, I lost everything because of you. So again why in the hell would I be welcoming to you?”
From the look on Tom’s face you could tell that everyone in the diner was now watching the both of you. You wanted nothing more than August to wrap his arms around you, but a major part of you had been happy when he didn’t. A quick look back at him showed that he was still by his deputy and that he still had one of the babies on his shoulder. Hearing Tom’s voice had you turning around and looking back at him.
“Y/n, listen. We are getting a crowd, why don’t we step outside and talk this over.”
“There is nothing to talk about Tom. You came here hoping to find a broken lonely person. Someone you could talk your way back into their lives. But the thing is, Tom, I am not that person. You leaving me was the best thing that could have happened. Because it brought me closer to my Grandmother and introduced me to new people. If you had still been in the picture I am 110% sure I wouldn’t have what I have now. And as for the crowd, you had no problem having a crowd last night.”
“Your Great Aunt said the house was falling apart. She brought me here in hopes that I could get you to sell it to her. That she had offered to buy it before and you said no to her offer. That you got involved with an older man and she couldn’t help but think he was a bad influence on you. Come on y/n, sell the house, leave the grandpa, and we can find a place together away from that old crazy lady.”
You were seeing red and you didn’t even need to look back at August to know that he was holding his hand up to stop his deputy from coming after Tom.
“Okay, first off IF IF I was to ever sell the house, I would NEVER move back in with you. You are only trying to get me to do it, because that crazy old lady gave you a number and you saw a chance to take even more from me. Understand and understand now, I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO YOU! That brings me to the second thing. August is one hell of a man and one hell of a person. You are fucking as crazy as my Aunt if you thought I would leave him for you. Unlike you he has held a job for longer than a week. Hell he has been at his job for years. That Grandpa could pick you up and throw you further than your ego. Listen, I am done. I am done with this conversation, I am done with you and I am done with her. So go back and tell that crazy ass lady th- Wait. No, hold on for a moment.”
Turning to look at August you couldn’t help but smile at how proud he looked at you. At some point he had given the baby back, but he still remained with the group. When your eyes turned to Davies and his wife you could see August grin as he figured out what you were about to do. “Hey Davies, how is house hunting going?”
Hearing his name being spoken, August's deputy looked at you as he sat straighter.
“No luck so far.”
“Well I just heard about a nice small two bedroom.”
“That so? Want to give me the name of who’s selling it?”
Smiling, you walked over to the group and held out your hand.
“You have a 20 on you?”
Looking at you like you had just grown a second head Davies reached into his wallet and pulled out a 20. Placing it in your hand you smiled and turned to August before looking back at Davies.
“Congratulations. You are now the proud owner of a small two bedroom house located right here in town. You just need to give the last owner time to move out and it is all yours.”
Smiling at the reaction on Davies face and seeing his wife crying you smiled at them. Hearing shouting from the end of the counter you turned to look at Tom as he stood quickly. Almost instantly Davies was pulling his wife behind him as August did the same to you.
“ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! 20 bucks! You just sold that house for 20 fucking bucks when that old hag was going to give you 40,000 for it! What the hell are you thinking?”
Looking at Tom you tilted your head when something crossed your mind.
“She wasn’t going to buy the house for 40,000 Tom. So where did that number come from?”
Seeing that he slipped up Tom looked down before bringing his eyes back up.
“The old hag was going to give me 10,000 if I talked you into selling. We could have had an extra 10,000 but you just fucked that up.”
You didn’t even realize you had been moving until August’s arms wrapped around your waist.
“YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT! I KNEW ALL YOU FUCKING WANTED WAS THE FUCKING MONEY!”
“FUCK YES I WANTED THE MONEY! WHO THE FUCK WOULDN’T!”
Suddenly tired you dropped your head forward.
“Just get the fuck out of hear Tom. I am done with this. Go back and tell my family that I sold the house to a family that deserves it.”
“This is a public place, you can’t kick me out.”
For the first time since all this began August spoke up, and hearing his voice had you instantly relaxing.
“Actually, when Dale isn’t here she is in charge. So if she wants you out, you're out.”
Seeing how you had been resting on August, you saw Tom’s eyes widen when he realized August was who you were seeing. And he suddenly laughed.
“Oh this is great. This is your new boyfriend? This is who you choose? Of course he has had his job for years, it’s not like people are lining up to be cooks. Jesus y/n, small town life has really fucked with your head."
Before you could say anything August was moving you to the side and making his way to Tom. For the most part Tom tried to act like he was scared but you could see the fear in his eyes as August stood over him.
"Say what you want about me I don't care. But since you have been in this diner you have been down right rude to y/n. Who happens to be working, so the way I see it you are harassing her. So I will tell you one more time. Get out of the diner and don't come back."
Instead of listening to August, Tom tried to stand tall. And even though you couldn't see August’s face you knew he was smirking.
"So I take it you are refusing then?"
"Yeah I am refusing. There is nothing you can do to me. She has no say where I can and can't be."
Shaking his head, August turned to look at Davies.
"You my witness?" Instead of answering, Davies nodded his head. Turning to the small group of people that were in the diner he asked the same question. After getting confirmation from them, August turned back to Tom. "Last chance."
"Please….. it's not like you can arrest me."
Smiling big and stepping even closer to Tom August shook his head.
"Oh, but that's exactly what I am doing."
Before Tom could say anything more August was grabbing him by his arm and pushing him down onto the counter. You couldn’t help but giggle when you heard Tom yelp in shock. To your surprise you watched August pull cuffs from his back pocket and cuff Tom. Just as he pulled Tom up a couple of his deputies came in. When Tom saw them he instantly started yelling about August, but instead of replying to Tom they looked at August.
"Hey Chef we were told that you may need some help down here?"
Almost instantly Tom stopped yelling and you noticed his face turning pale white. Pushing Tom to the two deputies, August let out a sigh.
"When have you known me to need help? Nah, Tom here just didn't want to listen when the manager on shift told him to leave. Now I will tell you that Tom is her ex so we have what some may say is a conflict of interest."
"How do you want us to handle this Chef?"
"Just take him to his hotel room, make sure he packs and follow him out of town." Turning to Tom August nodded his head. "I don’t want to see you back in town."
After Tom and the deputies left you felt a weight being lifted. Hearing Davies calling your name you turned to him and smiled.
"What’s up?"
"So….."
Seeing the distress in his eyes you knew what he was trying to ask.
"Yes, the house is yours."
"But it was your Grandma’s house."
"It was. But Davies, you and your wife were always favorites of hers. She always prayed that you guys would be able to have a child. She would be extremely happy that I sold it to you and your family."
"But for 20 bucks?"
Laughing, you hugged them both before turning back to August.
"Best damn 20 bucks I ever made. Meet me at the courthouse tomorrow and we will have them change the deed over to your name."
Turning back around you watched as August made his way to you. The minute he was in reach you wrapped your arms around him and buried your face into his chest.
"Should have stayed in bed." Laughing loudly August hummed in agreement. "So Aug?"
Looking up you saw that August was looking down at you.
"What's up?"
"So it turns out I need a place to crash for a few days."
Laughing you felt as August ran his hand up and down your back.
"You can stay with me. But I have one condition."
"What's that?"
"It isn’t for a few days. You aren't allowed to leave."
Pulling on his shirt you had August bring his face down to yours. Once he was in reach you stood on your tippy toes and kissed him as you nodded your head in agreement.

You Know, For Research Purposes - Tom Holland x Reader College!AU
Summary: Working on their research project, group mates Miles, Ned, Haz, Betty, Tom and Y/N grew closer together over the course of a few months. Also, how does Cheetos and ice cream taste together? ;)))
Word Count: 2,433
A/N: (gif not mine.) lolz hi! Look what boredom did to me.. I made a fanfic... [first time doing this idk what to do so there's that moving on. Hope u like it! Geronimo.]
Tom ran his fingers through his hair, tugging at the strands with force. He banged his head lightly on the table. He looked back at his Lit folder and saw he still had half of it to finish. He closed it and decided he would do it later. Managing the research project and studying for exams were taking a toll on his body and his sanity. He got up and went to the get some water.
It was halfway through midnight. His parents and brothers were asleep on their rooms. Miles, Haz, Y/N, Betty and Ned - his Qualitative Research applied subject classmates were sprawled all over the living room, laptops shoved to their faces, bond papers in hand. It was a typical students' night. The group had gotten together at Tom's house, and planned to stay overnight.
Miles and Y/N have History 1 together, while Betty and Haz had Calculus. But other than that, this was the only classes they all had together. Being in college is no easy feat, proper time management was necessary.
Ned had assigned each member to a specific part of the paper, and they've been at it since 8 pm. They all have to multitask and manage their time. Tom had almost finished his part of the paper, so he tried to do his Lit homework now.
Tom heard footsteps stomping on the floors. He turned and saw Y/N marching up to him with an annoyed look on her face and was about to speak but he cut her off.
"If you complain about the heat one more time, I'm give you a real reason to sweat," Tom set the cup of water with a smug look on his face.
She halted on her tracks and smacked the paper she brought on his arms. Tom chuckled, but didn't move.
"No, you idiot," Y/N rolled her eyes. "You might wanna fix that paper before you go off scaring people to death with that annoying face of yours."
His mouth twitched in amusement and took the stapled papers from her hands. "So you admit you've been looking at my face."
"You're so full of it," Y/N stepped around him and grabbed another glass, getting water from the tap.
Tom looked at the incorrect charts and tables he had made on the paper. He cursed under his breath. He had been working on it in the wee hours of last night. Spontaneous typing, no pit stops on spelling errors and everything else, just got it done.
"The original file is on my computer upstairs," he groaned. "I'll have to re-do this again."
"You do that," she clicked her tongue. "And I'll just chill here by your fridge for a moment."
Y/N opened the fridge and took the remaining slice of cake laid on a plate.
"That's mine -" Tom protested.
"Not anymore." Y/N ate the cake.
He scowled and moved to close the door of the fridge. Y/N leaned her back on the door. There they were, a few inches away from each other. Tom stood seething; Y/N chewed the cake with an amused expression. She wiped the frosting on her lower lip with her tongue reflexively. Before he realized it his eyes wandered to her lips.
Tom inched his face closer, eyes darting over to her eyes and lips. "If you don't stop biting your lips ..."
"What are you gonna do?"
Tom remained quiet but clenched his jaw.
Y/N chuckled, "You're all talk and no action."
Heavy footsteps echoed on the hallway to the kitchen, gaining both their attention away from each other. Tom whipped his head to the of the voice and shot him a look.
"I told you 7000 times, a chicken is a bird -" Haz bursted into the room with a phone clutched to his ears, pausing when he caught sight of Tom and Y/N. "D'you have a charger I could borrow?" Haz covered his phone with his hands.
"I have one in my backpack." Y/N said.
Haz nodded, talking again to his sister on the phone about chickens. He walked back to the living room, waiting for Y/N to follow him.
Y/N stopped by the table where Tom had been working on, and pointed at his paper. "I can't finish my part if you can't finish yours." Seeing as his paper's original file was on his computer upstairs, she grabbed his laptop without waiting for him to reply. "Imma borrow this ... Thanks."
She went back to the living room, laptop on hand.
"And don't look at my browser history!" She heard Tom call back from the kitchen.
"Wouldn't dare," she countered in a mocking tone.
As the weeks passed, they started collecting data on the field. They went through one institution to another, gathering reports and statistics, and validating it with professionals. Then after that it was all a blur. They submitted the paper to Mrs. Luxley and was graded, only given back to them for minor revisions.
The gang decided to spend that same night they passed the assignment on Tom's house again, just like they did when they were still making the paper. Tom's parents had gotten used to them staying over, and Sam always tried to flirt with Betty when he was around.
Ned and Haz raced to Tom's bedroom. Ned threw himself on the bed first. "God, I've never felt the bed being this good," he sighed and melted with pleasure. All those sleepless nights they've had finally paid off.
Haz hit him with a pillow. "Move over!"
Y/N laid on the couch, feet perched on top of Tom's lap, getting comfortable. Betty and Miles slept on the carpets of Tom's living room. They just sort of crawled to the floor in delight and just stayed there, too tired to move anywhere else. Haz came back to the living room, holding a bottle of champagne on his hands from the Hollands' cupboards.
He cheered. "Let's celebrate!"
But they celebrated the victory by sleeping out for an entire day spread all over the Hollands' house.
Even though their project was finished, the lot still remained close with each other. They spent times at Miles' favourite diner by the corner of the campus during their collective free time.
And last week, Haz's sister gave birth to a pretty baby girl. Haz invited them over and they all came to join the little house party his sister threw. The group counted on this as the official celebration of their hard work.
It was a Thursday afternoon. Family and friends chatted and caught up with each other in the Osterfield's backyard. Dream by Fleetwood Mac could be heard playing on the living room speakers.
Tom was talking with his dad. Betty and Ned sat at the garden chairs talking to one of Haz's brothers. Those two really were people persons. Miles and Y/N laughed at a hilarious history joke their professor rambled about. Tom tried to pay them no mind, though his glance drifted to them every now and then. His dad eventually noticed the shift in his mood, but decided to ignore it because his mum came to them, carrying Haz's niece. Tom accepted the baby to his arms while his mum and dad went to the kitchen.
Lily, the smol bean's eyes crinkled with joy and giggled. Her chubby little hands reached out to him. Tom stuck his tongue out affectionately her. He turned his head to the low whistle he heard.
"Wow... Daddy," Y/N smirked.
That day was all fun and games, but by the end it they still had school stuff to catch up on. A few weeks later, they decided to cram in the library.
Nothing feels better than suffering with acads together friends.
The group sat in a table by the corner, immersed in their own world. Tom went to the bookshelves to look for an autobiography book his proffesor suggested. Ned was compiling essays on his laptop. Miles was reading a book by Neil Gaiman. Haz and Betty were doing their Calculus homework.
Y/N's chin rested on her hands, staring blankly at her laptop screen. A straight line blinked repeatedly on the ends of the only sentence she typed.
What the fuck |
She just needed a head start on this critique paper. Nothing too heavy, just one paragraph to kick it all into place. That's where it's always hard. The first line. So now she's stuck with cursing. Before Y/N realize it, she's slumped her face down to the wooden table with a light bang. The group lifted their eyes to her, asking if she was alright. She shoved her thumbs up above her head, and they went back to what they what they were doing.
Haz who sat on her right, patted her back. "Same here, sis," he fought back a yawn.
Her eyes felt heavy. Then she groggily looked up to the little 'thunk' dropped on the table.
"Oh, great you're alive," she muttered before setting her face back on the table again.
Tom pulled his chair beside her. "Miss me already? I was barely gone for a few minutes."
"I'm so blessed to be with your presence," she stated in a monotonous voice.
Tom snorted. "Your professor is really gonna give you an A+ with those colorful words. 'What the fuck,' short but sweet."
She looked up and stuck her tongue out. Seeing his face has started to get old ... she tried convincing herself that, though.
They did their business. Ever so often, Y/N and Tom's elbows would brush against each other. Y/N had her earphones on, listening to her shuffled playlist on Spotify. Tom heard muffled tunes, and turned his head closer.
"What are you listening to?" He whispered; his breath fanned the side of her neck that sent chills up her spine.
She didn't look at him and instead continued to write key points to make on her essay. She spoke, her voice low. "This one's called Uncomfortable by Wallows."
He grinned and leaned even closer. "Can I listen?"
From across the table, Ned took 10 bucks from his wallet and shoved it on Betty’s hand. She pumped her fist in a silent triumph.
Y/N shifted her head to look at him, only to find his cute, devilishly handsome face inches away from hers. If she would tilt her head a little... their lips would touch. They locked eyes for a second, before she plucked one earphone and gave it to him.
He cocked his head, liking the song. Minutes passed. The only noises were from turning book pages, soft patter of keys on the laptops, and bits of hushed voices encompassed the area.
An hour later, Y/N felt herself getting hungry and went out to buy food, Betty tagging along. They ate outside since the library was strict on the 'NO eating policy.' Not even other drinks are allowed, only water. The others stayed behind. Then Betty came back to her seat.
"Where's Y/N?"
Betty sat on her chair, "She's outside, still eating."
Tom nodded and felt himself getting hungry, too. He opened his backpack and took a bag of Cheetos he stashed. He stood and said to them he was gonna eat outside. He went out, and spotted her leaning on a pillar, scooping ice cream out of a cup.
"I'm starving," he stood beside her.
"We've been there for ages," she scooped another spoonful of mint chocolate ice cream she got from the shop across the street.
Tom munched on his Cheetos. He turned to look at her happily savoring her ice cream. He moved for Y/N's ice cream cup but she swerved it out of his reach.
"Get your own," she swatted his arms away.
A thought crossed his mind. It reminded him of the last time they did this at his kitchen, over a slice of cake. And how they've been so close...
For the past few months, he's gotten a strange feeling whenever Y/N was around. Like there's an electric buzz in him, his heart would warm up at the sight of her. He couldn't stay away from her, and he wants to know her better, and feel her and just be there right beside her. He couldn't explain it.
Tom grinned at the memory, chucking a piece of Cheetos on his mouth. He stepped forward. "D'you wanna know how Cheetos and mint chocolate chip ice cream tastes like together?" he leaned closer to her face; his breath hot against her skin. His gaze shifted down to her parted lips. "You know, for research purposes..."
"Hmm?" She held her eyes up on his own gleaming brown ones. "Probably good. Anything's good with mint chocolate ice cream."
"Yeah?" His hands reached out to move the strands of her hair away from her face. "Wanna test it out?"
She shrugged.
Tom found his hand on the back of her neck and slammed his lips to hers. Y/N's eyes fluttered shut. He tasted full of that cheesy goodness. And her, a heavenly taste of vanilla and the aroma of mint. Her arm stretched out to keep the ice cream cup away. She parted from his lips to set the cup down onto the pillar. He wrapped his arms to her waist, pulling her flush against him. With her now empty hands, she ran her fingers on his soft brown curls. She tugged at the strands, eliciting a low guttural sound from him muffled by her mouth on his.
He broke the kiss and leaned his forehead on hers, breathless. "We should get back inside to do ... stuff."
"No no. Don't care." She pulled the back of his neck and closed their distance again. He chuckled.
Y/N loved the way their mouths danced to a rhythm, flavors mixing together from the forgotten taste-testing session, now a different kind of session.
A hand still on her waist, the other cupped her cheeks and tilted her chin to give him more access. She wrapped both her arms around his neck, welcoming warm the feelings burning inside her.
They parted, but still inches away from each other. Y/N bit his lower lip. Tom hissed in surprise but she kissed it better.
"So ... what do you think?" He murmured in a low voice.
"Mmm, I like it." Cheetos and ice cream forgotten.
"Yeah?" He grinned at her. "Me too."
Seconds lapsed. Neither of them moved, still stuck in a more romantic version of a staring contest.
"I like you." Tom's heartbeat raced.
She grinned back at him. "I like you, too. Like 3000. I like you that much."

Drag race with yours truly
@bugheaddrabblechallenge @hellodinoflower
day 5 prompt Role reversal (this one got away from me)
Angst with a happy ending?
Basically Archie and Betty switch roles!
Drag Race with Yours Truly
Jughead was getting ready for the fight of his life. Trying to be like his dad. The Serpent King.
Sunnyside Trailer park was on his shoulders. He had to defend his home, his fellow Serpent’s homes. His dad suggested a drag race. He was suspecting the cops might try to intervene. He didn't care though because he's been to Juvie before.
If he did this, they'd also stop dealing drugs in the North Side Betty would be protected from Jingle Jangle and the Ghoulies.
Jughead was waiting for Archie who going to be the passenger.
When she swayed up smelling like strawberries and chocolates, he couldn't look at her. He was so livid. He appreciated her getting him Reggie's car; he thanked her for working on it.
Yet, he was not going to talk to her. She hurt him. She had Archie break up with him. For what? He had no clue.
"Jughead," she brushed his cheek and headed for the passenger seat.
Oh hell, no he thought to himself. This isn't happening.
"Betty, you are not getting in this car!" folding his arms as he said it and put on his best brooding face.
Jughead needed to win this race, and looking at her made his anger boil. Maybe he could win it on that alone.
she smiled the smile that used to melt him, "Oh Jughead, but I am, so either get in and drive or lose it's your choice."
Malachi gave him a wink and a wicked grin, "Lover's spat Jones?"
"Oh Malachi, you are going to lose, and I'm going to love shoving that in your face"
Jughead begins to laugh and holds his stomach from laughing so hard " Ghoulies sounds like an 80's horror movie."
He looks at Malachi and adds, " plus, you look like you are trying to be a mix of Alice Cooper groupies or hoping to be apart of the Hangmen's from 'The Crow'" as Jughead slammed his car door. Getting in the front seat, Jughead had the last word against Malachi.
"Betty, get out! I'll just do it alone."
"No, Jughead, I left you alone long enough."
He pretended her smell didn't remind him of the last time they made-out. He pretended she had to be a ghost.
He laughed he manically started to laugh...
when he saw Cheryl with the flag. Crap he had to go, he had to do this for the Southside Serpents, his big mouth got him into this.
Jug felt her hand as he shifted gears. He heard her whisper, "You got this, Jug."
So he breathed, 'Betty, betty who.' as he took off.
When she said, "I should have never had Archie Break up with you. "
Don't look at her, Jughead thought.
" I should have told you what was going on, and I'm beyond sorry. Once you win, I'll let you know everything, and if you don't take me back, I understand. "
Jughead Snarled, he knew he had to win this. Focus on the race Jones. When he heard her say...
" I LOVE YOU, Jughead Jones."
Next thing he knew, he was at the finish line. Malachi's car was at least 3 mins behind.
Jughead went faster! Jughead had won!
He looked at Betty, "We did it! "
she nodded, "We always work best when we are together, don't you think, Juggie?"
They get out of the car to see an exciting Reggie running over to the car.
"I'm still hurt Betts, but I'm willing to talk about it."
"That's all I ask."
Reggie yells, "Hell ya, my Baby one!"
Betty and Jughead look at each other nothing had changed with Reggie.
he shakes Archie's hand, "It's alright, man!"
Archie runs up to him, "sorry man, she made me."
he hands Betty his motorcycle helmet and says, "Ready to go Betts?"
"Always Juggie"

Sleeping Issues| p.p
Summary: Peter is pushing himself hard on his Spider duties and is having trouble with his sleeping. And it’s summer vacation and the reader has a nice way to get him to chill out for a while.
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Words: 3.7K
A/N: I wrote this a few weeks ago and just finished it. I got some inspiration while I was at the beach last month and I really hope you like it. Also, I made this gif out of an old video from Harry’s youtube channel. And if you’re gonna use it, please give me the proper credit.
Warnings: If you consider fluff a warning…
Peter was always Spiderman. Always in duty, always taking care of others, but never had time for himself. May was getting worried about her boy, never having a time off with his friends or even a bit to sit down and watch a movie with his aunt anymore. And so it came, summer vacation. Everyone was ready to pack it up and leave for the beach. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) had a beach house in Florida, and even though it was far away, it still is a place where you could chill with your friends. Now that (Y/N) has a licence and a car, her mom let her take a few friends over to the beach house. It wasn’t a big one, so she invited only four of her friends. Ned and Betty didn’t think twice before accepting the invite. MJ didn’t take long to come through it either. The thing is that Peter denied the invite at first, saying that he had a lot of things to do as Spiderman. (Y/N) got really upset, she was really looking forward to spend quality time with her friends, specially Peter, who she’ve known for a very long time and had a slight crush on.
“Come on Pete, you used to love to come with me to Florida. Remember? Ice creams, late night swims, riding bikes and watching as many movies as we could before bed.”
“That sounds amazing, but I really can’t do it, (Y/N). I have duties now.”
She got really upset that he wasn’t going and even went to talk to May about it. Peter wasn’t home, which made their conversation easier. May confessed how worried she was about Peter, and how he hasn’t slept in a long time, and all of those bruises. It was consuming him, and he was getting weaker because of that. He needed a break. So by the time he got home after patrolling, May had already packed his things, and was resting and watching TV with (Y/N).
“(Y/N), what are you doing here?”
“She came earlier and we were waiting for you.” May said, removing her glasses. Peter glanced at the bags by the front door.
“What is that? Are you here because of Florida? I already told you I’m not going.” He pressed the spider on his chest, making the suit go loose.
“Yes, you’re going.” Peter groaned, taking his suit out and leaving it at his bedroom.
“Pete, you’re hurt.” (Y/N) touched his bruises, letting him moan in pain. There were many dark bruises all over his body. She pulled him into the sofa. “C'mere.”
He lied on her lap, and his feet up on May’s lap. He closed his eyes, feeling her fingertips against his cheeks. She stroked his hair and all he wanted was for it to stay this quiet forever, only feeling her. But May had to start talking.
“You have to go Peter. Look at you. You’re a wreck. All you really need is to be with your friends and slow down for a minute.”
“I have spider-work to do.”
“But Pete, I want you to come. Please, I wanna spend some time with you. It will be fun.”
“He doesn’t have to agree, he’s going and that’s it.” Peter groaned one more time and opened his eyes to find help in (Y/N)’s.
“Please. Do this for me.”
He closed his eyes and nodded his head. May jumped of excitement and went to the kitchen to get her nephew a piece of pizza. He sat straight and looked at (Y/N) with the biggest smile on her face.
“Thank you for doing this.” He looked down to the palm of her hand and held it, lacing their fingers together.
“Anything for you, babe.”
May came back with two pieces of pizza and a can of coke. Peter ate the first piece like his life depended on it. He was extremely hungry and that was like heaven sent food.
“(Y/N), you should sleep over. It’s really late for you to go home on your own. If you want, I can call your mom.”
“Pretty please.” Peter asked with puppy eyes, squeezing her hands.
“Okay May. Tell my mom I won’t take long, and for her to leave the car keys at the table.”
May left with her phone on her hands and Peter kept eating his pizza, killing what was killing him. Once he finished, he dragged you to his room and threw you one of his shirts. You’d take the bottom bed, and he’d take the top bed as always. She changed her already comfortable enough outfit to his own shirt and got under the covers.
“Why are you doing this?”
“Because I see how tired you are. Maybe a trip to Florida will make you feel better. Your best friends, the hot weather, the beach. It will be so good.”
“I just want to sleep for a while.” He got to his own bed, and she climbed it to keep talking to him.
“I promise I’ll sleep a lot with you there.” He smiled and squeezed her hand.
“I want cuddles.”
“As many as you want to. Now, let’s talk about those bruises.” He turned around and covered his head with a blanket.
“G'night.”
(…)
They woke up pretty early the next day. (Y/N) needed to get gas for the car and they needed to meet with their friends so they could drive off. They met at (Y/N)’s apartment. MJ was the first one to get there, and soon Betty was there with Ned. They loaded the car and got into it. Peter was got the front seat, (Y/N) drove and the rest squeezed themselves at the back seat.
It was a long drive and they took pretty much all day to get there. But once you were there, you could all finally settle down and enjoy. The house was clean and (Y/N) knew that her grandmother, who was there last week, left it clean for her. There were two bedrooms, so they divided in boys and girls. It was already past midnight, but they didn’t seem like they wanted to sleep. So they prepared sandwiches to eat and sat in front of TV to watch some movie. It didn’t take long until Peter searched for (Y/N)’s lap, to do the same they used to do when they were really young. He still remembers when Mrs. (Y/L/N) gave him those sandwiches and he would watch anything on TV with her whole family, and one night he even fell asleep on her chest. They were 10, and that was the day he found out that he loves to cuddle with her.
“You two are so cute together.” Betty said before sitting right next to Ned. They both blushed, but (Y/N) held him tighter, making him relax. They didn’t reply, it was better this way.
MJ was the first to give up and go to bed. Betty took a bit longer and soon (Y/N) joined them. Peter and Ned let the movie finish, and so Ned went to bed. Peter remained there for a while more. He wasn’t used to go to bed anytime early and it was going to take a while until he got some sleep, but eventually he went to bed.
They all woke up pretty late, but there was someone missing. Peter still was soundly asleep in bed. Ned let him sleep for a bit more, but after it passed noon, they all got pretty worried. (Y/N) went to check on him, finding him between many covers, still asleep. She sat next to him, running her fingers through his back.
“Hey Pete, it’s pretty late, are you okay?”
“Uhm… I’m fine, come cuddle.” He pulled her into him and she laughed a bit. “I’m too tired to get up.”
“Come on, let’s go for a bike ride with me. They all wanna go to the beach but I want to do it first”
“You can go, (Y/N). I’m just sleeping for a quite few more minutes.”
“No, you’re going.” She pushed him to sit up in bed and MJ curved her body into the room.
“Get up loser, we’re going to the beach.” Peter groaned and massaged his own shoulders.
“Baby, are you sore?” (Y/N) asked, using the pet name he loved to hear coming out of her mouth.
“Yeah, a little bit.” She reached her fingers on to his shoulders, massaging them, feeling him go less tense than before. He loves when she calls him with sweet names. “Thank you.”
“At what time did you go to bed last night?” He didn’t want to answer it, so he kept quiet for a long time until she pressed her fingers a little bit harder.
“3 in the morning.” She shook her head, disapproving it.
“Pete, we talked about this. You need to get more sleep. This whole thing was supposed to help you relax.”
“I’m trying, I really am. It’s just… Hard.”
She stopped and kissed his cheek. He turned and buried his face on her chest. She prayed to every God there is that he couldn’t hear how fast her heart was beating out of her chest. But of course he did, like he always did. Sometimes, he could even feel his heart sync up with hers.
“Let’s go take our bikes, okay? Maybe a ride will make you feel more relaxed.”
They all got dressed up to go to the beach. They didn’t have many bikes, so Betty and Ned went walking ahead to the beach with all of their stuff, and the rest decided to go for a ride, not caring if the beach was only across the street, they could get there later. MJ was faster and she got way beyond them all, and Peter went slowly, taking advantage to admire the pretty view, a familiar one, just like he did when he was little. (Y/N) did the same, remembering how good it was to hang with him in Florida. They competed to see who was winning the race, but Peter would always let her win, not being quite different this time. Once they decided to return, MJ slowed down and they came back talking about old stories about that town, making MJ laugh a lot of how idiot they were. It didn’t take long to find themselves back at the beach. Ned and Betty were having a romantic time together, and it was over once they all got there. But fun wasn’t over and they spent all day having fun, dancing to pop songs, eating snacks, having sodas and lemonades, swimming at the sea. Peter couldn’t take his eyes off (Y/N), and how perfect she looked like with wet hair, a slight tan and absolutely no makeup on. She caught him staring more than once, and it made both of them blush, a lot. When it got darker, they decided to go back to the house and take a shower.
Dinner was pizza, and it was game night. They played all sorts of things, like board games and even cards. The night was really funny, and they didn’t quite seem to want to leave the table to go to bed. It was almost 2 AM when they decided to go to bed. MJ and Betty were sound asleep in bed and (Y/N) couldn’t get any chance to engage a sleep. So that’s when she heard the front bedroom’s door open up. After a couple of seconds, she decided to follow whoever it was that just left that room, and she knew that the answer would be…
“Peter, what are you doing outside?” She asked opening the front door and talking to him getting down the stairs.
“I can’t sleep.” He said looking up to her and she sat right next to him, hands reaching for his back, running up and down.
“Why is that Pete? Why can’t you just chill out?” He breathed heavily and let his face hide between his hands.
“Ever since the snap, I keep thinking that if I don’t do my part to keep the little things in order, everything can eventually be in danger again. And with that I push myself so hard that sometimes I forget to sleep”
“Peter Benjamin Parker, you’re 16. You can’t take all of that pressure to yourself. That will eventually kill you and I can’t sit down and watch it slowly killing my best friend.” He teared up and hide his face in her neck. She pulled him closer into a tight hug, giving some small kisses on the top of his head.
“I’m just so tired. But I can’t get myself to sleep.” She stroked his hair and he slightly pulled away to face her and she wiped a tear away from his cheek. “And once I do fall asleep, I don’t wanna wake up.”
“Come on, let’s go for a walk.” She helped him get up, reaching for his hand. “Pete, it will be fun.”
“Okay.”
They walked slowly through the sidewalk, the breeze cutting their bodies. But it was hot enough for them to not feel so cold. They slowly walked to the beach, and once the cold sand could be felt by their feet, they took out their flip floss and sat on the ground, facing the ocean in front of them.
“I don’t know what I would do without you, really.” He said looking at her while she was looking forward with a smile on her face.
“You know, I haven’t swan while it was dark for a long time.” She said, inhaling the fresh air coming from the ocean. He took his shirt off, leaving it beside him. He got up and stripped down until he was wearing nothing but his boxers.
“Come on.” He said, walking towards the ocean.
“Pete, I’m not wearing a bra and I’m wearing a white shirt.”
“I don’t care about it, I just wanna be with you.”
He kept walking, leaving her behind. She built the courage to get up and take her shorts off and leaving her shirt on, hoping it would still cover something. Peter swan deep, feeling the cold water all over his body. If it wasn’t for the moon, he wouldn’t be able to see what was ahead of him. He tried to shut his mind for a moment, and that way he wasn’t able to see (Y/N) approaching from behind, wrapping her arms around his back and also wrapping her legs around his waist. He smiled and she kissed his temple, feeling him relax on her arms. He turned around to face her and she smiled.
“Don’t look at my breasts, okay?” She said, trying to cover herself.“
"Why?” He furrowed his brows, and she rolled her eyes. He approached and got her arms out of her chest. “They are beautiful.”
“Stop it!” She swam away, and he started to swim too, trying to catch her speed.
They spent a lot of time swimming and floating to watch the sky full on stars and the brightest moon. (Y/N)’s eyes shined under that light, just like her smile. Peter just couldn’t take her eyes off her, staring at her, wondering how kissing her would be like. She caught him staring and approached, knees touching and fingers connecting.
“You know, if you have so many problems sleeping, I think I can help you.”
“How are you gonna do that?”
“First, no coffee Mr. Parker. Only tea, and passion fruit tea can be the best to chill you out. Second, I can sleep with you until you get your sleeping back to normal.”
“You’d do that?” His eyes shined, and he entwined their fingers.
“Anything for you.” He pushed his head back, drowning his hair on the water. Once he was back, he pulled her by the waist into a comfortable hug.
“You know, if you start doing this, I might not be able to let you go again.” She smiled and pushed back to face him, getting some hair out of this face.
“So I’ll do it for the rest of my life.” She connected their foreheads, mixing their breathing, making it heavier.
“Hey.” He said very low, almost in a whisper, dry swallowing. She touched the tip of their noses and chuckling.
“Kiss me.” She said before he could, and in less than one second, their lips were connected.
He always wondered how it would be like. If it would be a intense one, or a cute one. It was very slow, like they weren’t able to go any faster than that. Once he asked for permission with his tongue, he could finally see how she tasted like. He thought it would taste like many things, her cherry lip gloss she always used and once insisted to apply it on him, or maybe like those horrible cinnamon gums that is always kept on her purse. But he never thought it would taste like mint toothpaste. Her lips were smooth, an act of too many lip balm apply. But once they got used to each other lips, they wanted more. Her long fingernails started to stretch the back of his head and she laced her legs around his waist. His hands supported her, running through her tights and ass, squeezing them. She moaned during the kiss and her waist moved in small circles, pushing their cores together while their tongues danced the slowest ballad. Once they needed air, he slowly let her lips go, separating from her while gently biting her bottom lip. She gave him a few more pecks on his lips and he kissed her jaw, leaving a small love bite behind.
“I love you.” She said now looking into his eyes.
“I wanted to say it first.” He said, kissing her again. “I love you too, baby girl.”
“Do you think you can sleep now?”
“Only if you’re there with me.” She smiled, closing her eyes. “I don’t want this to be over… But we should go home.” She kissed him again, a more profound kiss.
“This doesn’t have to be over yet.” He smirked and pulled her to get out of the water.
“C'mon, water’s too cold. Let’s get you home.”
They ran home with their clothes on their hands, trying not to get much cold while soaked with that cold water. Once they were home, they managed to get into their bedrooms to get the things they needed to sleep and some dry clothes. Peter took a shower first and while waiting for her to get out, he prepared two hot cocoas and a small bed on the big couch. When she got out, she cuddled on him, sitting between his legs and she took the cocoa resting while watching one of the Harry Potter movies, but not paying any attention to it, only feeling his arms wrapped around her. When they finished, she got into the position where she was the big spoon. One leg over his, one arm wrapped around him and the other hand stroking his hair.
“It’s just like when we were kids. This couch, movies and cuddling
"Let go baby. You can sleep now, it’s okay. I’m here with you.”
“I love you so much.” and it was the last thing he said.
She felt him relax and his breathing becoming serene. She left a lot of kisses on the top of his head, feeling him fall asleep on her arms, and she let it go quickly, letting tiredness consume her.
The next day, Peter woke up by the absolute clarity in the room. At some point of the night, he turned to face her, and he could clearly see her face. She was so beautiful.
“Oh, if you could only know how much I love you, (Y/N). You would feel my heart aching right now. I dreamt about this moment since I was a little kid, having you in my arms, calling you mine. You have that kind of effect in me. You’re the kind of girl who is always rescuing me. I remember when you were the princess trying to help her pirate prince defeat the big sea dragon. Having you all for me is like a dream that I don’t want to wake up from. You’re the love of my life and I really like you. I just wish you knew.”
“I really like you too.” She replied, opening her eyes.
“You’re awake?” She nodded, caressing his cheek with her thumb.
“You’re the love of my life too. I just didn’t have the right words to tell it to you, because I didn’t want to lose you.”
“I’m not going anywhere.” She rested on the curve of his neck. “By the way, I don’t like you. I love you.”
“I love you too, you idiot.” She kissed his neck. “But you need to take more care of yourself.”
“Only if you help me.”
“Anytime my love.” They kissed again, trying to keep it as quiet as possible, but they were suddenly interrupted.
“Good morning losers.” MJ said running in front of Ned to quickly get in front of him.
“Morning.” They both replied, (Y/N) burying her head on his chest.
“Did you sleep here?” Ned asked and Peter agreed with his head, and left a small peck on (Y/N)’s lips. “What just happened?”
“It was a very long night.”
MJ sat on the chair next to them with a mug on her hands, turning the TV on and resting her feet on the coffee table.
“Yeah, by the way, (Y/N). You’re not very quiet at 3 am.” Betty said getting into the room.
“Sorry.”
“So… Are you guys a thing now?” Ned asked and Peter glanced at her.
“I don’t know, are we?”
“Maybe if you ask me on a proper date, I will consider it."
"Just ask her already!” MJ said without drawing her attention out of the TV.
“(Y/N) (Y/L/N), would you like to go on a date with me?”
“I thought you’d never ask.” They all laughed and she sat straight, accepting the coffee mug from Betty.
“And will you give me the honour to be your boyfriend?”
“Hmm… Not yet…”

Photo
-it would start with catching both of their eyes
-the entire fam would be like “oh no, another thing for these two to fight about.”
-they’d try to find ways to get you to say which one of them you prefer
-finally confiding in Tony that you’re honestly just into both of them
-she sits them down and is like “you both have to stop acting like idiots. so I did some recon, and she’s honestly just into both of you the same way.” “well now what?” “there’s this amazing thing called polyamory guys, look it up.”
-they look into it
-and they realize they could both be dating you and it doesn't make them gay or in anyway have to even actually like each other
-you’re shocked when the both of them ask you to meet at Pop’s together
-you sit down across from them and they explain that they looked into polyamory and are willing to give both of them dating you a try if you’re up for it
-creating a group chat
-they both kinda have alpha personalities
-and this would clash at the start but they’d come up with ways to deal with it
-starting out with movie dates, Sweetpea immediately asserts his dominance by putting his arm over your shoulders while Reggie glares at him but settles with his hand going to your upper thigh, then Sweetpea glares at him because thats a good idea
-they both want to walk you to school
-Sweetpea is taller so he calls dibs on arm over your shoulders while Reggie holds your hand, or puts his hand in your back pocket, (wonder where he learned that from)
-people give you odd looks from the first day this happen
-”so what’s going on with Sweetpea and Reggie?” Veronica asks, Betty leaning closer because she wants to know too. when you explain it they’re both like “this is not going to last. Y/N, you know that, they hate each other.”
-your first date at your place and its kinda awkward at the start because having two massive guys walking around your kitchen is just kinda odd
-sitting on the couch to watch a movie
-these guys are huge so good luck trying to get comfortable on that couch
-moving to your bed because the couch has no space
-all of you lying on your backs until Sweetpea is like screw this, and pulls you over so you’re cradled against his chest, Reggie spoons you
-”so why do you guys hate each other so much?”
-you fall asleep first and they both are just kinda there. so they start whispering and talking. they realize they have more in common than they thought, plus if they want this whole thing to work they have to start being nicer to each other
-they agree to start working out together
-waking up cuddled between these gorgeous men
-at school you usually have class with at least one of them, and in classes with both each sit on either side of you
-they are fiercely protective of you
-like no one can fuck with you
-you always have one on either side of you
-you get cold and Sweetpea offers his leather while Reggie offers his letterman jacket
-and these guys are big so their jackets are big
-the other serpents kinda dont know what to do at first. like, they’ll accept you, but does this mean they suddenly have to warm up to Reggie?
-getting along really well with the Serpents because you make Sweetpea super happy and he’s such a sweet little muffin
-they’re both super cocky
-which is great
-”give me a kiss sugar.”
-the best fucking pet names.
-they both like to call you Princess
-Reggie is more of a “doll face” kinda guy
-Sweetpea likes “pretty girl.”
-can you imagine partying with these guys?
-that would be so hot, like, one on either side and they can never keep their hands to themselves so they’re all over you
-stealing their clothes
-tracing Sweetpea’s tattoo makes Reggie want to get a tattoo of some kind
-i mean, they try to keep it to a minimum, but sometimes they end up looking at each other when they’re with you and it spurs them on, like a good kind of competition on who can make you feel the best
-they’re also super horny
-they like marks. im sorry if you dont. this is just a thing with them
-and they’re rough
-plus, Sweetpea has those rings so get fucking ready doll
-the first time it happens is kinda odd but they make up for it the next morning, its all about rhythm and these boys realize they have a knack for it
-honestly its all just hanging out
-you and Sweetpea go to Reggie’s sports games and cheer him on from the sidelines
-group hugs when Reggie wins
-running onto the field and Reggie spins you around, Sweetpea stands there and when Reggie sets you down they bro hug
-they both just kinda like lifting you up all the time
-Sweetpea is king of throwing you over his shoulder
-Reggie’s more of a piggy back guy
-sometimes they try to coordinate things
-like cooking for you, but this never ends well. they’re huge fans of take out
-they actually are okay when you fall asleep first and they just talk about stuff
-sometimes pretending to be asleep to hear what they’re talking about
-usually its kinda dumb stuff but mostly its about you
-taking them both shopping. Sweetpea hates it with a burning passion but Reggie is a fashion icon so he helps you choose stuff
-well, Sweetpea helps in Victoria’s secret
-they agree on silk and lace
-they also agree on loving to tear your clothes off
-when you’re having a rough day, you have two adorable big puppy boys to cuddle you and make you feel better
-they also like attention
-studying together is you studying and both of them just playing with your hair and groaning about not wanting to study
-they always want to crash girls night but you always evade them
-the fact that this dynamic actually works out shocks everyone, Betty and Veronica especially want to know what it’s like having both Sweetpea and Reggie
-its actually just so loving once everything is settled though
-massive group hugs and cuddles
-once they’re comfortable with each other of course
-dragging them both around at carnivals
-its actually so funny because Sweetpea is usually pretty stone cold and Reggie can be kind of distant and then between these two huge asshole looking dudes is just you, and you’re a little bundle of sunshine in compairison
-ultimate lazy cuddle days with these babies who just need cuddles and head massages
-i’ve already said it but they are just so protective of you
-and Sweetpea has the whole gang behind him
-Reggie has the football team
-so you are protected AF
-sometimes they’ll fight over who gets to do things. arm wrestle for who gets to drive you to school one morning. a shoot out on the basketball court to see who gets to dance with you first at prom
-yeah everyone would know you’re taken
-like no one flirts with you because everyone just knows
-you know what. i am here for this okay?

Friverdale
This week’s episode it’s called “The tell-tale heart ” or 2x13
This episode was so...intense
I don’t even know where to start, it was a lot
Let’s begin with how did all that happened?! How did Chic killed the guy? Why he did it? Why do I have the feeling that Chic is some kind of psycho, a hot one though, but still! Not only he killed a guy, he’s also into drugs, he does that “thing” with the video camera, he’s some kind of hooker, he cut Hal out of the picture, not that he doesn’t deserve it but the look on his face when he did it was creepy af, and he dragged betty in to the whole videocamera “thing”, she’s his baby sister! What it’s wrong with this guy?!
Then we have Alice, Oh dear Alice, how can you act like nothing happened? And drag your daughter into it? How can you treat your son like nothing happened? Why didn’t you call the police?. Also... can we talk about how FP grabbed her hand?
Betty Cooper, the girl next door, a very optimistic person, she has a dark side but she still is an innocent kid, WHY THEY DID THIS TO HER? Poor kid was carrying all the fault even though she didn’t do anything but help her brother and mother. Thank god she has the most amazing boyfriend who not only understood but helped her in every way he cold.
I’m going to speak in general here, ALL THE PARENTS ON RIVERDALE ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE! They’re a shame, and those kids are paying for that
Cheryl is such a good person even though they see her as the mean girl, she ain’t mean
OMG Veronica parents are so insane, how do they put Archie, a 16 year old kid, through all that just to prove something?
Can we talk about how happy was Jughead about the fact that he and Betty were back together? And how he told her that he love her? And how nervous was he about her not saying it back? So cute
I think Cheryl and Kevin deserve more scenes
I didn’t add gifs or pictures because tumblr’s last update for iPhone is so shitty and it’s not letting me

ASK US A QUESTION LIST
The last name Winchester struck the fear into anyone aware of the supernatural world and it didn’t matter how long a Winchester had been hunting. The name put a target on your back and anyone you cared back usually ended up attacked or dead. You were the daughter of Sam Winchester and a long dead woman. Despite not wanting to place you in the hunting world, your uncle and father had trained you but you didn’t hunt until you were thirteen.
“How do you protect yourself against a ghost?” Dad asked as Uncle Dean drove down the highway.
“Rock salt shots or iron.” You stated looking out the window.
“Good. Do you remember the words to exorcise a demon?”
“Dad.” You said turning to see him, “I’ve been learning Latin since before I could crawl. I know all you’ve taught me. Uncle Dean taught me how to shoot while you taught me how to fight both supernatural and one. supernatural.”
“I’m sorry baby.” Dad sighed, “I love you kid.”
“I know.”
You didn’t know what town this was going to be other than Dad had found a case while he had been correcting your homework. He had to look up an answer and found out in the recommended news articles about something. Dad had ordered you to pack before heading out on the road.
“Burger.” Uncle Dean grunted pulling into an old fashioned diner with neon lights that were unnecessary at this time of day.
“Dad can I have a milkshake and fries?” You questioned.
Dad had always made sure you ate healthy food more often than what Uncle Dean had always snuck you. You were sixteen and you still followed your father’s rules because if you didn’t he got that sad puppy look with a mix of disappointment.
“Add a burger-“
“Chicken?” You perked up grinning, “Uncle Dean, want to share a sundae after?”
Uncle Dean and you had that typical familial relationship where you got more ease than the rules with you father. Well you couldn’t get anymore ease but it was still less. You saw the smirk of your uncle before he tossed out an agreement if he got the cherry.
Walking into the building was like any other place only this was a little more busy than the diners you had been in. You felt your angel blade in the small of your back with a gun hidden on your ankle in the boot. You settled into a booth near the counter while you Uncle made eyes at the Latina waitress.
“What can I get you?” “I’ll have a chicken burger, fries and a vanilla milkshake.” You said as your Dad glared at you, “Wow okay Dad! Please can I have that meal?”
“No problem.” The waitress smiled, “You guys have an amusing daughter.”
“What? No!” They said together, “We’re brothers!”
“They get that a lot.” You giggled as your family avoided looking at each other. They both mumbled their orders before it was taken to the kitchen.
“I want to talk to you about something Y/N.” Dad said turning to face you, “We’re not sure how long we’ll be here so would you like to be enrolled at the school?”
“Uh…”
“Beat any kid up th-“
“Dean!” Dad snapped, “Don’t tell my daughter to go hitting other people!”
“While you two fight, I’m going to go use the bathroom.” You sighed climbing over the back of the booth into one being used by a group of teens.
You all blinked at each other before you got out of the booth with your Dad hissing at you to apologize but really who cares. You did feel the eyes of the other teens watching your retreated back where you’re shirt had raised a little to reveal the knife. You had barely made it into the bathroom when you were slammed into the wall next to the door.
Within seconds you had twisted out of the hold to slam the teen against the wall with enough force to nearly shatter a picture frame on the ground. The others had rallied to push you off before you broke the teens arm leading you to slug one in the face.
“Archie!” The raven haired girl gasped rushing to the fallen red head. You crouched waiting for the next attack before they all sized you up, “What the hell?”
“He grabbed me.” You stated blinking.
“He was getting you off Jughead!” The other female said stomping her foot on the ground.
“Why was this Jughead slamming me into the wall?” You glared leaning down closer to the hidden gun.
“You have a knife! What teen carries a knife!? Like a professional?!” The boy shaking his arm exclaimed.
“What’s a Jughead?” You questioned.
“ME!”
“Oh.”
“Are you going to rob the diner?” Jughead asked closing in on you. You shifted reaching to grab a normal knife to hold it in front of you, “Whoa!”
“Betty call the cops.”
“Veronica!” The blonde gasped, “She could have something to do with Jason-“
“What? Who’s Jason?” You questioned. They all shared a look before silently agreeing to quit attacking you.
“Jason was murdered this summer.” Archie said holding his hand to his bruising eye. You had landed a punch that would make your father proud.
“Oh.” You stated, “I’m Y/N Barton. I’m new here.”
You returned back to your booth where your Dad was nervously watching where you had disappeared to, then soon followed by some teens. Dean saw one of the boys, a jock no doubt, was holding his eye that was steadily turning black by the minute. His eye caught your scraped knuckles before he chuckled deeply.
“Looks like your kid socked Raggedy Ann.” Dean grinned. Sam groaned as you stood while the teens congregated around your booth.
“Dad this is Betty, Jughead, Archie, and Veronica.” You said motioning to them, “This is my Dad Sam Barton and my uncle Dean Barnes. They go to the high school that you still haven’t shown me yet.”
Sam frowned unsure why you had given them fake names while silently telling him you would go to the school. You were a smart kid that made him proud ever since you said your first word so young.
“Jughead can show you.” Veronica stated stepping close to Archie while Betty had gently placed a bag of frozen food in the red head’s hand.
“Jughead?” Dean questioned confused. He noticed the boy with a beanie rolling his eyes and he knew that the kid was named that.
“That’s be awesome!” Your eyes twinkled while your uncle and Dad shared a concerned look.
They didn’t care how old you were or how trained you were on protecting yourself they didn’t like boys with you. They were placed in a hard place when you swiftly kissed your Dad’s cheek and raced out of the door with Jughead on your heels.
“I don’t like this.” Sam grumbled as you vanished from his view.
“That kid is a Winchester.” Dean snorted, “She’ll be fine. Besides I’ll kill the boy if something happens.”
Jughead was slouching as he led the way to the typical high school in every movie you had managed to watch. It became easier when you moved into the bunker with your family after years of living in motels and the Impala.
“This is Riverdale High School. Run by Cheryl Blossom like the Blossoms run the town.” Jughead said gloomily.
“I’ve never been in a school.” You mumbled wincing when you remember the hunts that led you into the school buildings. Jughead must of noticed because he was watching you with a small frown.
“You’ve never gone to school?”
“Dad and I live in a house far from towns and after my mom died, my uncle moved in.” You said keeping your eyes on the building, “My mom was a teacher so she wanted to teach me with the help of my Dad.”
“Oh…well.” Jughead trailed off watching your body language. Something was off and he had a feeling it was going to be interesting with you in town.
“I should head back.” You said pivoting on your foot to head back to the diner, “I’m sure Uncle Dean will be in lecture mode about leaving with strangers and Dad will say something about violence.”
“That was a nice punch.”
“Self defence from my Dad backfired.” You smirked as the seed settled in his mind that you weren’t the evil living in this town.
“Over protective?”
“You have no idea. I don’t even have any social media.” You weren’t faking the sadness in your voice this time. You truly did love life you had with your uncle and dad but with no friends and stability could suck.
“Seriously?”
“I’m not jok-“
“Y/N Y/M/N Win-“ The purr of the Impala was no match for your father’s raised voice. He was glaring along with Uncle Dean, “Get in the car right now.”
You shared a look with Jughead before you climbed into the back seat where your Dad was already ranting about how violence wasn’t the answer. All you could see was Jughead’s beautiful eyes and you knew right there you were screwed. You had feelings for the odd boy and you sure that blonde Betty girl did too.
A month passed by with you hanging out with Jughead at lunch when he was working on some kind of novel. He had explained how he was writing about the mysterious death of his classmate and how it was a big deal. You tended to stay quiet by reading up on your Latin, it intrigued the boy when you were mumbling in the language as if you had been born in the country.
“Jughead!” Betty exclaimed sitting next to him on the ground. Her eyes twinkling at him and it made you want to punch her in the face but you didn’t need dirt on your record.
“Hey Betty.” Jughead said grabbing one of your fries to stuff in his mouth.
“Wanna go to Pops after school?”
“I can’t sorry. Y/N and I are going. Maybe next time.” Jughead replied not looking up to her. Her face fell before she got to her feet and headed back to the table where Veronica was waiting.
“You should go out with her.” You mumbled looking up from the book in your hands.
“What? Betty wasn’t asking me out, she’s been looking out for me since Archie once again decided females were more important.” Jughead said with a smirk at you. As you stared at him, his smirk faded when the encounter settled in his mind, “She was asking me out.”
“Betty seems pretty into you so I don’t think you lost your chance with her.” You replied looking back down at your book.
“I’m not into Betty.” Jughead slowly said, “She’s not really my type of girlfriend. Besides she was recently in love with Archie and that’s called rebounding.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m into-“ Jughead was cut off by your uncle’s ringtone.
“Oh you finally answered. We found the location of the whore house…I mean witch house and she’s been shacking up with a demon.”
“Are you serious?”
“I’m just about at the school and I need you to be ready to fight.”
“Uncle Dean where’s my Dad?”
“Uh…we got separated and he was taken by the witch.” Dean said slowly.
“Of course.” You said sarcastically before climbing to your feet when you saw your Uncle hustling towards you. You hung the phone up as you ran to meet him.
“He’ll be fine Kid, we’re Winchesters.”
“Wait what?” Jughead asked confused, “I thought you and your Dad were Bartons and your UncIe was Barnes…wait those are Avengers names…”
“You gave a fake name?” Your eyes settled on Archie as he dropped his book bag on the ground.
“Shit. Look my Dad and Uncle are government agents, they take me with them because I’ve been attacked in revenge before_”
“You lied to me.” Jughead blinked, “God how could I be so stupid! My life is a piece of shit so why would anyone want to be near me.”
“Jug-“
“Save it. You’re just like everyone else.” He growled picking up his things and storming away.
“Archie-“
“I’m sorry Y/N but he’s my best friend, I’m always going to have his back. Good luck with everything.” Archie mumbled before following his best friend at a fast pace.
“Wait!” You yelled taking a step before you were swung back into your uncles body, “Let me go!”
“No. Think about this. Are you going to go after two boys that can’t know your life or save your dad?” Uncle Dean asked sternly, “You go after those boys and it won’t end well. You know that. We know that. The entire family knows that.”
You hesitated before Uncle Dean began to drag you out so you felt your heart break into pieces. You knew you shouldn’t have fallen for the boy but it was impossible with his snark and mysterious qualities. Betty and him had a greater chance of surviving the fucked up world than with you.
It was a young witch that used the school at night for more power by the atmosphere created by angst ridden teenagers. The witch herself was in her early twenties with a great tie to the demon, it was a vicious cycle, every person in the witch’s history inherited the bond to the same demon.
“Dad!” You exclaimed dropping to your knees in front of a locked at the school. His face was bruised and bloody with a relieved smile at you.
“Y/N!” Both Uncle Dean and your Dad yelled when you were violently thrown into the set of lockers behind you. You body shape was dented into the lockers but from the small movements you made there was no fractures.
However you were disorientated and unsure of everything or if you have blacked out or not. You did see a small movement at the end of the hall. You saw that your family was losing the battle and with the witch preoccupied you slammed your knife into her back over her heart.
“Daddy.” You mumbled collapsing onto your knees in front of your father. His arms wrapped around you in the familiar warmth you had known since your birth.
“I”m okay baby.” Dad mumbled into your hair, “Look at me. See I’m fine.”
“They aren’t.” Dean mumbled as the demon, now showing himself, was close to the group of teens.
“I know him.” You gasped as the demon was on his way to your friends, your Jughead with his odd hat, “Run!”
It seems the Riverdale teens were shocked and mystified at the fight between the supernatural and Winchesters. Not that they knew the life but watching a sixteen year old girl kill someone…well they weren’t overly concerned with who was fleeing the scene scared.
“Are you okay?” Jughead questioned.
“Should we call the police?” Betty said taking a small amount of glee at the rift developing between Jughead and you.
“No! Run!” You screamed running towards the endangered teens before the demon could do harm but it was useless. The demon had used his power to shove Archie onto the wall and up to the ceiling, “No, no, no!”
With the pounding footsteps of your family you dug the demon blade from your boot before tackling the demon. The tackle severed the demon’s concentration with Archie to throw a fist at your face, the punch grazed your temple before you slammed the knife blade into the skull.
You laid there gasping for breathe as Veronica and Betty crouched near a shaken red head even thought there were the same. The body was tossed off you so you finally felt some of the wounds begin to throb.
“What the hell.” Jughead stated as his attention was on making sure you were okay, “You killed someone.”
“Yeah.” You mumbled.
“Were you in Riverdale during the summer?”
“No. We were on…a uh-“
“Business-“
“We just saw Archie get fucked up without anyone near him. That guy, the one you stabbed by the way, lit up orange like a freaking sun.” Jughead exclaimed not taking your bullshit anymore.
“That was a demon.” Your uncle Dean said blinking as he held up your Dad, “The woman Y/N stabbed was a witch.”
“These two…jesus Dean.” You Dad said glaring at his brother when he was jostled too much, “The demon and witch had a centuries old bond via members of the witch’s family.”
“What the hell.” Archie choked out shocked.
“We hunt the things that go bump in the night. The monsters that your parents checked for under your bed and in the closet. The ones you grew to believe were fake and you were safe from.”
“Archie learnt how to throw a football and I learned how to shoot.” You said, “You girls shop and gossip while I studied on how to exorcise a demon and make salt rounds.”
The teens were silent as you continued to rant about how different your life were while your hurt and jealously broke your father’s heart. He had always felt terrible to be unable to provide you a normal life but he tried to for a period of time. It didn’t work, it failed liked his college days of denial and avoidance. You were two when he decided he couldn’t leave the hunting life.
“Baby…sh.” Your dad cooed as you slowed down to take a breath.
“I’m Dean Winchester, this is my brother Sam and his daughter Y/N. We grew up in this world that most don’t know exists. We hunt monsters.”
“I think I prefer when I didn’t know you were all crazy.” Jughead muttered heavily. Betty shifted closer in order to console him shuddering at the heavy glare you gave her.
“Crazy? Did you not see what the body did? Or how Archie was pinned against the wall with no one touching him?” You snapped stepping closer. Betty instead got in your face, a little too close for comfort.
Before the blonde’s palm could connect with you face you had a gun inches in front of her. You did care if she was human or not. You were trained to act on instinct and pulling a gun on her was a no brainer.
“Whoa!” Archie exclaimed as he tried to push Betty out of the way.
“Step away.” Dad said slowly. You saw Betty gulp at the sight of something that ended Jason’s life in front of her.
“You need to step a foot back now.” You hissed at the blonde, “Are you stupid? I have the same training and experience, if not more, as law enforcement. Don’t rush me. Don’t try to assault me. A threat is a threat.”
“O-okay.” Betty mumbled stepping back and sighing when you returned your gun to its place.
“Seriously. Just because Raggedy Ann doesn't like you doesn’t mean you should transfer that to someone else.”
“I didn’t transfer. I just didn’t know I liked Jughead.” Betty said huffing again, “You being here made me see that I love him actually.”
“You like Jughead.” Archie said shocked. He may not return her feelings but having someone irrevocably like you was a good feeling.
“There’s something betwe-“
“Betty don’t.” Jughead said clearing his throat. In the short period of time you had known Jughead, he was a closed off person and didn’t like a lot of attention. Betty revealing her obvious feelings was one of those things that made him uncomfortable.
“Chick flick moment.” Uncle Dean grunted as he walked away, “I get enough watching those awful movies you insist on.”
“You like them!” You shouted with a grin.
“Baby, we have to hit the road. There’s a new case in Greendale.” Dad said with a smile at the teens. A rather awkward one as Betty spoke under her breath at the odd boy that caught your attention from the moment you saw him.
“Okay.” You said turning to the group, “Sorry for the problems we brought.”
“Cant wait to never see you again.” Betty mumbled with a cold stare.
“You have my number if anything happens.”
“Can we speak alone?” Jughead asked blinking at you.
“Uh. Yeah sure.”
“We’ll load the car.” Dad said kissing your forehead, “Don’t be long.”
You nodded as Jughead ushered you to a room where everyone could congregate during breaks of the day. You would miss the homey room with the worn board game boxes stacked on a counter at the back. When you two sat down Jughead grasped your hands.
“Do you think you could stay for a little longer?” Jughead asked.
“I can’t. It’s for the best too.” You said taking your hands from his, “This won’t end well.”
“You don’t know until we try.”
“But I do.” You said with watering eyes, “Winchesters never get a happy ending. I’m as close to a happily ever after that my Dad is going to get. If we get close to someone they die.”
“I doubt it’s because you’re Winchesters.” Jughead smirked straightening his beanie.
“Everyone my Dad has slept with has died.” You said stonily, “Uncle Dean tried to leave the life and so did my dad but you can’t leave the life.”
Jughead was silent as the words registered in his mind breaking his heart more because he would probably never see you again. He wouldn’t have that same itch to brush your hair behind your ear or fail to not squeeze your hand at odd moments. He would never have the same fight for the cherry on your milkshake or steal the rest of your fries.
“You could stay. With me.” Jughead said. He saw the hesitation in you, the hope that grew before it was blown out.
“I can’t.”
“You deserve to be a kid and happy.”
“So did my family. So did countless people killed. Just by saving people makes up for the childhood I didn’t get.” You said getting up, “I should go.”
Your bag was tossed in the back of the Impala along with the two other bags from your dad and uncle. The teens you had grown to be close with in the duration you had been in Riverdale stood by the car. You carefully looked each one in the eye before coming closer to them.
“If you ever get into trouble give me a call.” You stated to each one, “I’m serious. If you think someone or something is off let me know.”
“I’ll miss you.” Ronnie said stepping up with a small box.
“What is this?” You questioned as you lifted the lid to see a bracelet.
The bracelet had charms on it that didn’t hang too low but they were distinctly related to each of these important people. A guitar with a football engraving correlating with Archie was the first to catch your eye bringing the memory of punching him. The next one was just a tiny pearl that perfectly described Veronica, it was extravagant but simple. The charm describing Betty was a tiny magnify glass that was placed next to a crown with a diamond at the top. The last was simply a milkshake for the place you had all met albeit in a shady way.
“It’s gorgeous.” You breathed.
“Jughead helped.” She admitted stepping to carefully place it on your wrist and hug you, “He loves you. Don’t throw that away.”
With a rather awkward hug with Jughead in front of everyone you stepped into the Impala for next hunt. Maybe life would bring you back to Riverdale but for now you had a hunt to do.

GIF NOT MINE
Part two
It was the last day of the drive in before it moved on to its new owner and got demolished. The whole town was here for the last screen play. My boyfriend Archie asked me to come with him and some friends Veronica , Kevin , Betty and Jughead .I was sitting on Archie’s lap with Betty and Veronica next to us cuddling.
The movie has been playing for thirty minutes and Betty and Veronica were fast asleep spooning. Kevin left fifteen minutes into the movie for a popcorn refill and hasn’t returned and Jughead of course is in the film room.
I decided to check my phone out of boredom not like anyone is going to text me since my friends are all here. I stretch out moving a little to reach my phone from my bag and I feel Archie tense at my sudden movement I realize what is happening and decided to have a little fun. I stretch again to grab my bag acting like I can’t reach it and Archie stiffened at the moment again digging his fingers into my hips this time.
“What’s wrong arch ?” I ask innocently. “No-nothing ” he stutters “Oh ok ” I say reaching for my bag one more time but this time I made sure to move my ass a little extra causing friction. Archie pulls me towards him and whispers in my ear “I know you know what you’re doing and you better stop it or face the consequences” I decide to move my hips a little teasing him “and what are the consequences ” I whisper back.
I feel his bulge grow as I keep moving my hips front and back and from side to side being careful not to wake Ronnie and Betty.I hear a hiss leave Archie’s mouth and I smirk. Suddenly his hand is traveling down my body and stops where I currently need him the most. I stiffened at that , now the tables have turned.
“Archie really ? Here ? Ronnie and Betty are right next to us ” I whisper yell. He pulls me closer if it’s even possible and whispers “I guess you’ll just have to be quiet”. I feel his hand in my tights hovering over my area but not yet touching it. My body twitches in anticipation as he begins to tease me through my panties moving his fingers in circular motion. A gasp falls from my mouth at the sudden contact not for long as Archie hand covers it him coming closer to my ear and whispering “ shhh gotta be quiet baby girl”.
He moves my panties aside slipping a finger in which causes me to moan out in pleasure. He starts working his magical fingers and rubbing my clit occasionally slipping a finger in. My body is pulsating and my clit throbs . He starts hitting the right spot and I grab onto his arm forcefully. His fingers driving me insane as I try to keep quiet.
A clenching feeling in my stomach starts to form and I know I’m close. “ Arch I -I’m ” i try to say but my words won’t cooperate. “ yes I know ” Archie says as the pace of his fingers quickens I thrust my hips forcefully to meet his fingers. I feel the knot in my stomach untie and a wave of electricity runs through my body. Archie keeps working his fingers until I finish coming down from my high.
Archie pulls out his fingers and sucks on them Chuckling lightly. “We’re still not done part two at home ” he says. I giggled quietly as Kevin approaches us.
“ So what did I miss” he says hoping on the back of Archie’s truck.
“ Oh you know just like the entire movie” I says giving him a suspicious look
“ I’m sorry that refill line was crazy” he says apologizing.
“ It’s okay the movie was boring anyways we were about to leave right Y/N ” Archie looks at me and smiles
“ yep ” I respond “ Lets wake up the girls the can get a ride with their parents me and Archie want to work on some music ”
The drive home from the drive in was quiet and peaceful. We arrived at Archie’s house pretty fast with his dad out with Mrs. Lodge we had the entire house to ourselves. “ So about that part two ?” Archie asks with his eyebrow raised and a smirk.
“I wouldn’t miss out on you and your musical fingers for nothing” I say as he pushes me against the door and I kick off my shoes.

Riverdale S1E7 Recap (Long)
Chapter Seven: In A Lonely Place
Ah nostalgia. We open in a 50’s fantasy where everyone is dressed like their original comic book counterparts. Jughead is dating Betty (or are they engaged/married? She’s wearing a ring) and they’re having dinner at the Coopers. Polly and Jason are there too, along with Veronica. It all seems happy. But then it gets juxtaposed with Jughead getting flashes of his father drunk and Archie showing up, asking him why he stabbed him in the back, turning to reveal a literal knife in his back. It’s enough to wake Jughead up.
He’s been staying in a forgotten closet under the stairs at school. He goes to the locker room to start his morning routine. He’s in his towel, brushing his teeth when he looks up and is startled by Archie. I’m guessing there was an early practice or something. Archie innocently asks Jughead what he’s doing there. So Jug shows him his current living place. Archie looks almost horrified about his friend living there and asks him how long he’s been there. Jug tells him he’s been there ever since the drive-in shut down. His dad fell off the wagon after Archie’s dad fired him and his mom took his sister Jellybean to go live with their grandparents. Hints of what Fred meant last episode when he told Hermione the last firing of someone didn’t go well. Archie tells Jughead to come live with him, but Jug says no and also asks him not to tell anyone, especially Betty. Archie is confused because he says Betty wouldn’t care and if anyone would be a snob about it would be Veronica.
Speaking of Veronica, she’s having some purchases she made online brought into the apartment. She tells her mom she’s been doing some retail therapy due to her mom forging her signature. Hermione tells her that she can’t do that because the money they’re getting barely covers the rent and they can’t afford to live beyond their means. Perhaps they could start with a different apartment.
The group gets together in the student lounge, where Betty fills everyone else in on what’s been happening with Polly and Jason’s car getting lit on fire. The update is in the student lounge. They’re not even in like a tight circle or anything, they’re comfortably spread out. Jughead puts a comforting arm around Betty’s shoulders, eliciting a hilarious reaction of surprise from Veronica and Archie. I wish I made gifs because it’s amazing. And while this happens, one of Cheryl’s “friends” is clearly listening in and texting Cheryl.
Group time breaks so these people can finally go to class, and Archie asks Jughead if the reason why he said not to say anything about his living conditions to Betty is because they have a thing going on. Jug says they had a moment, but he’s clearly not too comfortable with the question. So Archie tells him no worries and changes the subject: he talked to his dad and his dad is willing to give Jughead’s dad another shot if he wants it. And now, after seven episodes, I can finally say, good looking out Archie.
Veronica asks Betty about Jughead as well and Betty tells her about how Jughead has really been there for her during all these hard times. Veronica says swoon and approves since he’s been such a help. Then she says, “Now let’s find your sister.”
Sheriff Keller is talking to Penelope Blossom (at the school?) when Cheryl walks in, leveraging her information in exchange for her mom letting her rejoin the River Vixens. Her mom agrees and Cheryl tells them what she heard about Polly and suggests that Polly is the killer. And she tweeted all about how Polly is crazy and killed her brother. You know, if the Coopers wanted, they could actually sue the Blossoms for that; that is some serious slander.
Jughead goes home to see his dad; the place is a total mess and there’s bottles of beer and liquor everywhere. His dad (F.P.) walks into the living room, surprised to see him. F.P. asks Jughead how he’s been and Jug tells him about Fred’s offer. Turns out that Fred already called F.P. and F.P. refused the offer because he felt like it would look bad if he went back to working for Fred. A touch ironic. Jughead tries to tell him that this would be the best thing for them and it could potentially be the start of bringing the family back together.
Jughead then leaves to help with the search party that the Coopers organized for Polly. While everyone is walking in the woods, they use the opportunity to catch up with each other. Search party, why not. Archie apologizes to Betty for not being there for her when all of this stuff was happening. She tells him it’s okay and that she’s glad he’s there now. But there is something about his face that makes it seem like it’s not actually okay; I can’t tell if it’s guilt or jealousy because Jughead was there. Maybe it’s a little of both.
Kevin asks Veronica how things are at home and she tells him that she’s basically going to go to war with her mom. She says when stuff like this would happen before (when she wouldn’t get her way, that is), they she would go partying with her “fave celebrity gal pal, her best gay, and sexy, disposable arm candy”. Yes that’s a direct quote and refers to Josie, Kevin, and Reggie, who could also be known as a local diva, the only nearby gay person, and I guess Reggie still fits that last part. Kevin asks if they should invite Betty too since she could probably use a distraction. Veronica says Betty may be a little busy and points to the Blossoms, who have joined the search party.
The Blossoms run into the Coopers and Penelope gets in Alice’s face asking her where Polly is. It’s a very stupid question and Alice says as much when she answers that she wouldn’t be out there looking for her if she knew. Penelope probably did it for dramatic effect; they seem like that kind of family. So Penelope decides to tell Alice that they’re going to “catch” Polly and get her for the murder.
The encounter leads Alice to hold a press conference where she tells everyone the rumors about Polly are false (though anyone close to her would say that) and then she reveals the pregnancy, which you can tell the Blossoms did not know about.
After all that mess, Jughead walks Betty home. They’re holding hands and it’s adorable. Betty is blaming herself for Polly running away because she told her about Jason. Jughead reassures her that she did the right thing; and she did – Polly had a right to know. Plus Betty is the most trustworthy member of her family, so it had to be her. Betty tells him about the time that Polly ran away when she was nine and how she was missing for a couple hours. Jughead asks how far she got and Betty has a realization. She thanks Jughead for walking her home, gives him a kiss, and tells him that she’ll call him later.
When Betty gets home, she verifies that her parents aren’t home and then heads up to her creepy attic, where she finds Polly. Incredible that neither of her parents thought about coming home, especially in the context of her having “run away” before. Polly tells Betty that she and Jason were going to go to a farm upstate and she still wants to go there because she knows her parents don’t want her to keep the baby and she won’t raise the baby in a home that doesn’t want it. Now, to be fair to the parents, they didn’t sign on to raise another baby and it definitely isn’t their obligation to support an infant. However, odds are, if they were even remotely approachable for their children then maybe Polly would have felt comfortable asking for some help with birth control and wouldn’t be in this situation. Their parents are ridiculous though, I’m all for Polly just wanting to get herself out of there.
The next morning, F.P. goes to see Fred. He tells Fred that it isn’t easy for him to be back there, but he wants his son to look at him and not see a piece of garbage. Incredibly heartbreaking from every angle that you look at that statement. Hermione comes in and she and F.P. act like they’re seeing each other for the first time since she moved back. Fred gets a call and he walks out, leaving these two alone. Hermione is a little scared and starts asking if he’s there for another shake down, and F.P. tells her that Hiram settled everything up and he’s just there to work. However, Fred doesn’t know that he’s a serpent and he tells Hermione to keep it that way.
Betty decides to see where her parents stand on the matter of Polly and the baby. They’re cool with Polly coming back to live there, but they say that Polly agreed to give the baby up for adoption. Which of course complicates things, since Betty knows that’s a lie and it jeopardizes keeping Polly safe.
Betty shares her concerns about Polly with Veronica, who offers to talk to her mom about staying with them because Polly needs access to healthcare. Cheryl comes in and says that Polly needs her family and takes Betty away into an empty classroom for a private conversation. Though it’s unnecessary because Betty is obviously going to share everything they talk about with Veronica anyway; but anything to get out of that damn student lounge. Cheryl wants to help since it’s Jason’s baby. Betty tells her that Polly needs a place to live and medical care and Cheryl waves off the expenses and says that she’ll talk to her parents.
The day has been going better for the Archie and Jughead. They’re at Andrews’ Construction, hanging out, talking with their dads. They ask if they can all go to dinner together. Fred is very hesitant and a bit uncomfortable, but F.P. is game for it and says it’ll be his treat. So they all go to Pop’s. They’re all having a very good time, but like all meals with more than two people, this gets awkward. The dads are telling the kids about their high school days and how they were in a terrible band together and how they were kinda unlucky in love for a little bit. Fred brings up how F.P. was a bit of sports star – but F.P. says that Jughead doesn’t care about that stuff, he takes after his mom, more into books and writing. Archie brings up that Jug writes for the school paper with Betty. F.P. picks up on the Betty thing and asks Jughead if she’s his girlfriend. Jughead avoids the question and redirects the focus back on the dads.
But then the check comes; Fred takes it and tries to pay, but F.P. tries to remind him that he said the meal was on him. Fred tells him it’s no problem and that F.P. can get the next one. This starts to make F.P. irate, so Jughead tries to alleviate the situation, taking out his wallet and saying that they were the ones who did the inviting, but F.P. tells him to “put his damn money away” and telling Fred that he “owes him this”. Fred agrees and tries to kind of laugh it all off, but wow is it super uncomfortable.
Veronica walks into her living room, clearly dressed to go party; her mom says she better not be going out clubbing because it’s a school night. But Veronica says that’s exactly where she’s going, unless her mom admits to her transgressions and tells her dad about the forgery. Hermione refuses to give into the demands of a teenager, so Veronica decides to leave.
Veronica, Kevin, Josie, and Reggie have a good time at the club. Where is this club? Surely small, suburban Riverdale does not have a club. They take a break on some lounge chairs, all clearly a little drunk. Keven asks if the partying is helpful and Veronica decides to be a downer and talk about how everything was taken from them when her father was arrested, but the one thing her mom told her they couldn’t take was her name; but then that’s what her mom did by forging her signature, taking her name “like it meant nothing; like she was nothing.”
Later on, the manager comes to tell Veronica that her card has been cut off. Veronica views this as a good thing because it means her mom is responding to her tactics. I honestly don’t care about this subplot; it just feels so juvenile. They’re teenagers, I know, but it’s still annoying. Let’s just finish it out.
Veronica comes home, where her mom is waiting to have a negation with her. She starts by saying that she will continue to work for Fred and that they do have feelings for each other, but Veronica’s father made decisions that have led her to figure out what her next step is. So she wants Veronica to accept her affair. So very strange to have this conversation with your child, but I suppose it must be done. Veronica says that whatever is happening with Fred cannot happen in the apartment (very fair and her mom immediately agrees to that) and she wants her mom to tell her dad about the forgery because she doesn’t want him to think she betrayed him. Hermione agrees, with the condition that the clubbing and online shopping comes to an end.
Somehow, Archie and Jughead are still hanging out with F.P. back at the Andrews’ house, despite the prior awkwardness. F.P. and Archie are playing the guitar, but then it gets awkward when F.P. asks if Fred keeps any beer in the mini fridge. Jughead tries to redirect it, but Archie decides to double down on the awkward and asks F.P. what he meant about Fred owing him. F.P. tells them that he and Fred started Andrews’ construction together, but finances weren’t so great for F.P. so he took some odd jobs to supplement. However, one of the jobs was bad and landed him in jail. Fred helped by bailing F.P. out of jail, but then decided to let him go from the company because he was a liability. Fred wrote in the bail as F.P.’s payout, but F.P. believes his share was worth twice that. This walk down memory leads to F.P. taking a drink from his flask.
When F.P. is out of the room, Archie and Jughead both say they had no idea about whole issue with the dads. Obviously, or else they wouldn’t have asked to have dinner together. Archie thinks that his dad must have had a good reason and Jug says, “For screwing over my dad?” Geez, what an uncomfortable time, all around. F.P. comes stumbling into the room and tosses Jughead the keys. Jug helps him walk out and tells Archie he’ll see him later.
When Jughead and F.P. get home, F.P. tells Jug that he’ll sleep on the couch and Jug can have the bed. Jug helps him get off his shoes and excitedly tells him about his mom working on her GED and Jellybean helping her study while being the coolest ten-year-old because she listens to Pink Floyd on vinyl. Unfortunately, while Jughead is telling him all this, Fred fell asleep and you can see how disappointed Jughead is. I feel like he didn’t sleep there that night.
Archie talks to Fred about what F.P. said earlier that night. Fred tells Archie his side: Fred frequently bailed F.P. out of jail to the point that they couldn’t keep working together. He says that when someone is drowning you can’t let them drag you down with them. Absolutely fair. But Archie counters with, “Yeah…and who cares if Jughead drowns with him?” You know what – Archie is the MVP of this episode.
The next morning at school starts horribly. Jughead walks into the newspaper room to see Sheriff Keller and Betty looking at the murder board. Whew, that looks incredibly bad, a completely reconstructed board based on what was stolen from the sheriff’s house. Why would you ever keep something like that out in the open where anyone can walk in and see it? They tell him that he needs to come in to the station for questioning. On the way out of the school they pass a surprised Archie and Betty; Jughead tells them to call his dad. It’s easy to guess where that’s going.
At the station, Sheriff Keller says that forensics unsurprisingly found Jughead and Betty’s fingerprints on some things from the car. But what was surprising is that Jughead’s prints were already on file for a previous transgression where he was arrested for trying to burn down Riverdale Elementary. Jughead says that that was an accident from him playing with matches and that it was a “tenuous connection”. So the sheriff brings up his school records, saying that there was a history of bullying and a poor academic performance (except for English; he has an A in that one). Then the sheriff asks him the big question – where was he the night of Jason’s murder. Jughead catches on to potentially being scapegoated and asks for a lawyer.
But in the next scene, we see him with Betty. Did he ever get his lawyer? Jughead is clearly shaken and is trying to tell her that he didn’t burn down the car. Betty reminds him that she was with him, so of course she knows he didn’t do it. Actually, yeah! She’s his alibi; this whole thing is baseless. He asks about his dad and Betty says no one knows where he is.
Fred and Archie are at the police station as well, talking to Sheriff Keller. Fred tells the sheriff that Jughead was working for him the day of Jason’s murder and that he’ll look for the old time cards. Thankfully this works, though Archie almost screwed it up because he was having a hard time playing cool. They’re able to leave with Jughead and Betty.
They’ve barely gotten outside when they see F.P., who is pissed. Jughead says that it’s fine now and that Fred helped. but F.P. is not having it and starts heading towards the door, ready for a confrontation with Sheriff Keller. Jughead interjects and asks F.P. to not make things worse. Poor guy has had a rough day; accused of murder and then embarrassed in front of everyone. So F.P. backs off and starts walking away, asking Jughead if he’s going to come home with him. Archie says that Jughead can stay with them if he wants and that they already offered.
F.P. says maybe Jughead living with them would be best. But Jughead says he’s coming with him. The others move back to let them talk. F.P. says that he does want to get better and get the family back on track, but he needs a little time. Jughead is clearly upset and it looks like he’s holding back tears as F.P. asks him if he believes him. Jughead says he does, though I wonder how much of that was truthful. They hug and F.P. leaves.
Fred stamps some time cards for Jughead’s alibi. Archie remarks that he seems to know what he’s doing with this whole situation, like he’s done something like this before. I wonder if that quick mention will come back. Fred says that Jughead doesn’t deserve what’s happening to him.
Let’s check in with those wacky Blossoms. Earlier in the episode, Penelope was asking Cheryl some questions about Polly, wanting her to clarify on when she called Polly a party girl and whatnot. She wants to cover her bases since she doesn’t want an unfit mother raising the baby.
Later at Pop’s, Polly is waiting with Betty, Veronica, and Archie when Cheryl comes in. Hey wait! Archie is a part of other things! Polly holds Cheryl’s hand and tells her how sorry she is about Jason. Cheryl looks vulnerable and tells Polly that she needs to leave because her parents want her out of the picture, making it unsafe for her and the baby. Veronica says Polly can stay with her and that her mom will want to help; and her mom does help.
Back at the Andrews’ house, Archie is setting up an air mattress in his room and tells Jughead that he’s sorry about both of their dads. He asks Jughead if he thinks F.P. will show up to work the next day. Jughead said he hopes.
Hope is the topic of the closing narration as we see F.P. stumbling through his home, taking a long pull on his bottle….right past the coat closet where Jason’s letterman jacket is hanging. The very same jacket that was in the car that was set on fire.

“RIVERDALE IMAGINE: Betty expresses her feelings for you while you give her a make over”
Inspired by Love Like This by Kodaline
warnings: making out / its just really really gay, like oh my god it’s gay
[I do not own the gif above!]
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Betty was in love with Archie.
She always had been and somehow you just figured that she always would be. Not that you wanted her to be, in fact you had spent an entire year praying she would stop one day. But that was selfish of you, all you wanted was for her to be happy with someone.
Watching Archie fall for Veronica was almost as hard for you as it was for Betty. It wasn’t uncommon for you, Betty and Veronica to hang out often and rant about boys and girls. Veronica often joked about the love of her life being a Mexican girl back home. Betty tried her best not to mention for the millionth time that Archie was her first and current love.
But recently things had become complicated. Veronica spent more time with Archie than normal. Betty distanced herself from the redheaded boy and suddenly you two were together almost every night.
It was wonderful and painful all at once.
Safety was the hug she gave you every night before you crossed the street to your own house. It was the way her hair felt between your fingers when she let you brush it to calm her down on rough nights. It was especially the way she curled up to you on the nights you stayed over to watch movies and fall asleep in her bed.
You had always imagined yourself with a Veronica. Someone thrilling whose looks gave you a slight shock when they walked into the room. Maybe someone slightly mysterious and sexy.
Your love for Betty had snuck up on you over the years. Now you were so engrossed by it that no one else could hold a candle to her. She was the brightest part of your life.
That particular night you were brushing blush across her cheeks and trying to calm your heartbeat down. Betty always had a lovely scent, it was soft and made your chest flood with warmth, maybe made with a hint of baby powder and coconut. Everything about her was familiar and loving, no one else could give you that feeling.
“I’m glad we got the homework done, I bet we’re the only ones finished,” she said excitedly, the particular infliction to her words that made you smile. There was something unique in her voice when she got serious about something.
Betty was an impressive student, but she didn’t exactly get intense about homework that often. You decide to brush off the thought and grab the comb off her vanity table. The calming pink of her room combined with the twitter of her voice reminded you that you had her all to yourself for the night.
She was sitting on the edge of the bed, her legs swinging back and forth while you sat cross legged behind her. She was beginning to bite her nails and you smacked her hand lightly while telling her to stop messing up her lipgloss and the nail polish you had just put on her.
“Yeah I’m happy to have it over with. Now we have the whole weekend off.” You started to pull the gold coloured comb through her flaxen waves of hair. She flinched when it tugged through a knot and you put a hand on the top of her head to steady her as you ran the brush through again.
“Do you have any plans for the weekend?” she asked tentatively, her shoulders tensing slightly.
“I thought we were supposed to all try and sleep in Jughead’s treehouse like when we were kids? We promised Veronica we could all fit even though that’s a complete lie.”
Betty laughed and shrugged, seemingly relaxing a bit as you finished brushing her hair and pulled it through an elastic.
“Well Jughead texted to say that he’s visiting his cousins in the city and it wouldn’t really be like old times if he isn’t there. Archie still wants to but I... Maybe you and I could just stay here for the weekend and let Veronica and Archie go?”
Your lips became twisted in a slight grimace as your brows furrowed. Betty hadn’t spent a weekend with Veronica and Archie in weeks, instead recruiting you for a slightly absurd amount of sleepovers. Everything seemed perfect at school, but you were beginning to think that those school weeks exhausted Betty’s happy-go-lucky facade.
“Betty, I don’t want you missing out on these times with our friends. I know how hard it is for you to be around Archie and Veronica but I don’t want you constantly stuck with just me when--”
“Archie? You think I still want Archie?”
Her words rang through your mind a few times before you realized you wearing an embarrassingly shocked expression that couldn’t have been attractive. Betty wasn’t making sense; if she didn’t love Archie then why did she only ever settle for hanging out with you?
“You’ve always loved Archie, why wouldn’t I still think you want him? I thought you’ve been using me to avoid him and Veronica.” You didn’t mean to sound as hurt as you were, but it had been building up in the past few weeks. You ate up every moment of attention Betty gave you, but subconsciously you had always figured you were sort of being used.
Betty swung around and readjusted herself on the bed, looking at you face to face. Her cheeks were flush with more than the light blush that you had put on them earlier and you noticed the tips of her ears were heating up. She was the same nervous mess you had seen back when she used to follow Archie around like a puppy dog.
“I wouldn’t use you for anything, Y/N. I want to spend every second with you sometimes and I know that sounds crazy but if it does, so be it. I can embrace that because spending time with you is when I’m happiest.”
You didn’t mean to stare at her so intensely but it was as if her words had cast a spell on you. She grabbed your hand between hers and ran her fingers from the heel of your palm to the padding of your finger tips. You shivered and your eyelids fluttered, melting into a puddle of disbelief and complete bliss.
“Betty, I...” your words seemed to fade away as you became enraptured by your reflection in her jade eyes. You looked absolutely lovestruck and suddenly it became so clear that she had to have known. It was too obvious, too clear how much you loved her.
“I know,” she whispered, her words as wispy yet tangible as cotton. You could practically feel it’s underlying meaning stroking your cheek.
And then her words were replaced by her feathery touch against your jaw and the unsaid thoughts on your lips met with hers. Breath was hardly a necessity when the push and pull between your mouths was far more addicting. The taste of bubblegum lipgloss with a hint of cosmetic bitterness met your tongue as it ghosted across her bottom lip. A soft, breathless kiss with flavoured lipgloss couldn’t have been any more Betty.
The palm of your hand was melded against her thigh, kneading circles into her soft skin. Betty sat up on her knees and moved closer against you, her legs parting as she moved into your lap. Your hand moved up against her hip and guided her legs as they wrapped around your waste. The manoeuvre was hardly flawless but it only made you pull her tighter against you. The slight weight of her body elicited a moan from your throat and her teeth dug into your bottom lip in response.
You took a deep breath and her lips pressed against your jaw, moving slowly towards your neck almost teasingly. You gripped the sleeve of her dove white cardigan and she sucked gently at your neck, a pulsing beginning between your thighs.
“Slow down.” Your words were deep and hushed, the only tone you could manage. You could feel Betty’s lips twist in a smile before she pulled back and placed one last kiss against your mouth.
“Countless sleepovers and we somehow avoided this for how long?”
“Too long,” you responded quickly, releasing your choke hold on the material of her cardigan. She stayed sitting in your lap and stroked your jaw, creating small indents into your skin with the curve of her finger nail. “But we’ll have plenty more to make up for it.”
She grinned, a gleam in her eyes letting you know that she found your wavering self control amusing. You sighed and wrapped your arms around her, leaning into her and letting your head rest against her chest. She began to run her fingers through your hair and you just breathed her in for a few moments.
“I love you a little too much, Betty Cooper.”

If someone told you four years ago that when you turned sixteen you would be five months pregnant with your best friend’s baby you would’ve laughed in their faces. Young you probably would’ve made a judgmental remark saying that you weren’t like “those River Vixens” and that although you loved Jughead, you and he could never be more than best friends.
Well, one night changed that.
It was a typical movie night for the two of you. Watching the classics, eating popcorn. You didn’t know who initiated it. You didn’t know who kissed who first. The next thing you knew was that the two of you had made your way upstairs to your bed and that clothes were coming off. You knew that this wasn't right. The two of you were best friends. You couldn't do this.
But how could something so wrong feel so right?
The both of you agreed it was a mistake immediately afterwards. Agreed to never talk about it again. Agreed that as far as the two of you were concerned, it never happened. It hurt you. You thought that you and Jughead had something there. A connection. But you couldn’t tell him how you really felt. You couldn’t hurt the relationship more than the two of you already had. Jughead felt the same way, although he never voiced his true thoughts either. He was Jughead after all. The friendship was more than a little awkward after that but the two of you managed. For a few weeks at least. Around six weeks after the two of you had sex, you started feeling fatigue. You got violently ill almost everyday. You thought it was just a stomach bug until you missed your period.
You immediately told Betty and Veronica about your suspicions. They told you that you needed to take a pregnancy test as soon as possible. While Betty stayed with you and tried to calm you down, Veronica was kind enough to go to the convenience store and buy the test for you. She said that she had been in your place before and that it was probably just a scare, like hers.
She was wrong.
As you stared numbly as the positive pregnancy test, you knew that your life was forever changed. You already made your decision about what you wanted to do. The next step was to tell Jughead and your parents.
Betty told Jughead. From what he told you later, it had just slipped out. She didn’t have any malicious intentions. You knew she didn’t, but it didn’t stop you from being angry with her for a good month or so. He had come over to your house the day after you took the test, tears in his eyes. Immediately you saw he was terrified of being a dad. The situation about what happened to his mother and sister and having a deadbeat dad involved with the Southside Serpents didn’t help either. Jughead vowed that he would never leave you to do this on your own and promised to help in any way he could. When you told your parents, they were furious. Without another word, they kicked you out. Now you and Jughead were both homeless, expecting a baby in approximately seven months.
Fred Andrews came to the rescue. He had found out from Archie that the two of you were homeless and found a little two-bedroom trailer near the edge of his construction site and got to work on fixing it up. He even offered Jughead a job, which Jughead accepted immediately, giving him work after school and on the weekends. In the meantime, Hermione Lodge had found out about your situation from Veronica. She swooped in, scheduling all your doctor’s appointments for you and paying for all of them (“It takes a village to raise a child, Y/N.”) She even convinced Pop to give you an after-school and weekend job after the baby was born. But most surprisingly of all, it was the Coopers, specifically Alice Cooper, the Alice Cooper, that offered to babysit for free when you and Jughead were at school. Why? You didn’t know. But you had a feeling it had something to do with making up for lost time with Polly in her youth.
Since the trailer Fred fixed up had two bedrooms, and one of them was being used for the baby, this made your and Jughead’s relationship complicated. In the beginning, the two of you agreed to sleep together, but not together. You weren’t a couple. You had also originally agreed to platonically co-parent when the baby arrived, wanting to stay as friendly with each other as you could. You weren't going to repeat Jughead’s parents’ mistakes.
As time progressed, you began to fall more and more in love with Jughead. You knew it was a dangerous path you walked on, knowing that he didn’t like you back. As your due date got closer, the two of you started fighting more. It wasn’t like the two of you were angry at each other, but you were stressed and you just happened to be taking it out on each other. After one particularly bad screaming match, you had started crying uncontrollably, the stress becoming too much to handle. To your surprise, Jughead began to cry too, apologizing to you over and over again even though it wasn’t his fault. Whether it was the hormones or whatever, you had kissed him impulsively. He had kissed you back and the next thing you knew, you were on your bed.
So much for platonically sleeping together.
Afterwards, rather than lying again and saying the sex (again) was a mistake, you decided to be bold and told Jughead you loved him. After Jughead was silent for what seemed like an eternity, he said that he loved you too. That he had since he was a kid. More tears followed and you never screamed at each other again.
Forget the platonically sleeping together, so much for platonically co-parenting.
Jujube Forsythia Jones, named after your and Jughead’s favorite candy and Jellybean Jones’s real name (“For God’s sake, we don’t even know if it’s a girl, Jughead! And if it is, we’re not naming her Jujube Jellybean Jones! One candy is enough! Just use Forsythia!”) was born on a unusually cold and rainy spring day. Jujube’s (nicknamed Julia by you and everyone else except Jughead) birth was pretty uneventful which you were thankful for. Everything was relatively calm (thank whoever was up there for the epidural) and everyone didn’t panic (the exception being Jughead). When Julia was laid in Jughead’s arms for the first time, you saw the wall that he had built up over the years come crumbling down. He immediately adored her. Julia was his everything. When she cried, Jughead was immediately up and ready to attend to her every whim. She was a daddy’s girl. She was also the spitting image of him, with his hair and smile. But she had your eyes, making her a beautiful mix of the two of you. Everywhere she went, people melted. Even Cheryl liked her. (“I guess you’ll make a good River Vixen someday.”) You had never seen Jughead look so horrified at such a prospect before in your life.
You sighed as you remembered all the craziness that had went down in the last three years. You looked over from behind the counter at Julia who was in a booth, drawing with some old crayons and printer paper from Sheriff Keller’s office. Julia was an unusually well-behaved toddler. You had been waiting for the terrible twos to hit but at 2 ½, she was still relatively relaxed. That meant you were waiting for the hell that would come from the fearsome fours. Despite this, when you were working, you always made sure to check on her to make sure she wasn’t causing mischief. She never was. All she did was draw. Although it was just scribbles now, you knew she would be a great artist one day.
The bell tinkling of the front door brought you out of your daydream and you looked up, smiling at the person who walked through it.
“Hey, sorry I’m late,” Jughead said, closing the distance between you and giving you a quick kiss, the counter the only thing between the two of you. “Got held up at work.”
Hearing her father’s voice, Julia looked up and beamed.
“Daddy!” she exclaimed
Jughead’s smile widened when he saw his daughter.
“Hey, Juju,” he kneeling down to pick up the little girl, holding her tightly against him as she rested her head on his shoulder. He pretended the toddler was heavy, and groaned, acting as if she was nearly impossible to lift.
“You’re getting too big for me to carry, Jujube.” he said, standing up, Julia’s head still resting on his shoulder.
Julia lifted her head, her little black pigtails bouncing, and looked at her father.
“I’m not getting bigger! Aunt Betty said I’m getting cuter.” she proclaimed.
Jughead snorted.
“Yeah, well, stop being so cute. It’s not healthy.” he said, touching his nose to hers, giving her a little eskimo kiss.
Julia giggled and Jughead turned his attention back to you.
“You ready to go?” he asked, putting down the little girl.
You nodded as you took off your apron, looking up at the clock. It was 6 pm, the end of your shift.
“Yeah.” you said as you waved your goodbyes to Hermione and Pop, joining Jujube and Jughead as the three of you walked out the door, you and Jughead holding on to Julia’s little hands.
Your little family.
