“what? what happened?” you quickly tapped off the call screen, your finger rapidly going to find the app with the blue bird logo, trying to see if you were getting cancelled, or worse, if you were getting shipped with neito.

you quickly tapped the topic that showcased your name, wondering just what all the fuss could possibly be about at 2:53 am on a tuesday morning.

of course, the gossip magazines have now caught onto what you said and they were sure as hell never going to let it go, at least not until you provided them with some details.

“oh my god. neito you told me he wouldn’t even see it! you fucking liar.” you pinched the bridge of your nose while one hand placed your phone on your countertop, the sound of the man laughing echoing throughout your household as you went to open your fridge.

“you had to have known he’d see it! you’re not exactly an underground streamer y’know. although, you’ll never be in the spotlight the way i am.” how the hell was he a pro hero with this attitude? no way his approval rating was high.

“I’m on a roll with being a ler!” Jeongin exclaimed as he ran throughout the dorm for his next victim. 

Small huffs of air escaped his lips as his stamina slowly wore down, and he leaned against the nearest door to catch his breath. 

He was about to run again, until he heard small sounds escaping from the gap underneath the door he was leaning on. 

It sounded like…crying.

Jeongin immediately put his ear to the door to try and hear which member was crying, he didn’t want them to feel bad any longer. 

All thoughts of being a ler flew out of his head and got hit by a plane. 

The only thing that was in his head was the fact that he needed to comfort his hyung. Whichever one it was.

He heard light sniffles, and his heart clenched tightly. He slowly knocked on the door, noting how the crying became muffled, and he heard a sad, “Come in…”

Jeongin’s heart almost stopped. Changbin. One of the strongest members, physically AND mentally. 

Innie burst in, tackling his hyung backwards onto the bed in a big hug. He could hear Binnie’s breath hitch. 

“Hi! Do you need something?” Changbin asked in a fake happy tone, plastering a smile on his face. 

Innie’s heart panged. He was faking it. So that Jeongin wouldn’t suspect anything. The worst part was that the older was good at it. 

It made the maknae sadder than he liked to admit. How many times had this happened before and he hasn’t noticed?

He just stared sadly at the older, whose eyes shifted awkwardly as he tried to hold his smile out. 

“Don’t lie to me, hyung.” Were the only words Innie could muster at the moment. 

“What do you mean?” Changbin asked, voice faltering. 

Oh he knew what Jeongin was talking about. He was hoping it was something else. He clearly didn’t want to talk about it.

Joengin noticed how tightly the older gripped his phone, and he had a good mind to throw it out the window. 

“Hyung. Mind if I…borrowed your phone?” The maknae asked sweetly. 

“Um…sure?” Changbin unlocked his phone and swiped out of whatever he was looking at, and Innie’s eyes narrowed. 

He took the older’s phone with a deadly smile as he quickly opened Binnie’s settings. 

It took him a moment on the older’s Samsung, but he managed to find Changbin’s most viewed apps and sites.

All his suspicions were confirmed with that one word.

Jeongin looked at the rapper once. Then back at the phone. 

With a few swipes, the site was blocked. Forever.

The maknae was quick to put the phone out of reach, engulfing the older in a big hug. 

He knew exactly what this was about. 

He listened as Changbin took a deep, shaky breath, obviously struggling to keep his cool. 

“Just tell me what’s wrong…” Jeongin pressed. 

That’s when the floodgates opened. Both bodies shook as Changbin sobbed, heaving in between. 

Innie just sat and stroked the older’s hair, clearly distressed at the idea of his hyung hurting. 

Once Binnie finished crying, he wiped his face as he looked anywhere but Jeongin’s face. 

“Innie?”

“Yeah?” 

“I need to ask you something. Just be honest.” 

“Um, ok.”

Binnie tried to look down as he spoke. He didn’t want Innie to worry. 

“D-Do you think i’m…fat?” Changbin stuttered through his sentence, and his voice cracked. 

Jeongin sat in shock as he stared at Binnie, unable to believe that those words had come out of the older’s mouth. 

“Hyung…” Innie choked. 

“Why would you ever think that?” 

“Well, I don’t have abs, and i’m not thin or pretty. So the people online said-”

“Well whoever said that doesn’t deserve to be a STAY! They’ll never be a true part of this fandom because everyone here is true and kind. Binnie hyung it really doesn’t matter!” Jeongin blurted, smiling at the older, whose mouth dropped open. 

“Well-”

“Wait! I’m not done. Your tummy is something we all love and adore, hyung. You shouldn’t be unhappy about it! In fact, I think you need a little cheer up~” Innie followed by pushing the rapper back down on the bed, pinning his arms beneath his torso. 

The maknae pulled Changbin’s thin t-shirt to his highest ribs, eliciting a squeak from Binnie as he squirmed. 

Jeongin cooed at the efforts of the rapper to escape, lightly tracing around the cute belly with a singular fingernail. 

“wait! wahahait!” Changbin giggled sweetly as Jeongin hovered his lips mere centimeters from his bellybutton. 

When the maknae’s lips finally met the rapper’s belly in a ticklish kiss, said rapper squealed loudly as he bucked. 

Jeongin’s lips fluttered all over the squirming tummy, his nails tracing lightly along the lee’s v-line. 

The soft trailing fingers and kisses drove Binnie absolutely mad with giggles, and he forgot the previous sadness almost immediately. 

“Nohohoho! Ihihit t-tihihickles!” Changbin laughed his heart out as the fluttery feelings contradicted the sadness he had felt moments earlier. 

“Of course it does, i’m tickling you!~” Innie cooed at the rapper’s cuteness, before going for the kill by blowing a long raspberry onto the lee’s bellybutton. 

“NOAHAHA! PLEHEHEASE!” 

“Only if you say that your belly is beautiful. Go on. Say it!” Innie encouraged, and then continued to blow agonisingly ticklish raspberries anywhere he could reach, including the rapper’s v-line and hip. 

Changbin threw his head back in ticklish heaven  agony as he screamed as loud as he could. 

“NOHOHOHO! OKAHAHAHA OKAAHAHAHAY! MYHY TUHUHUMMY IHIS BEHEHEAUTIFUHUHULL!” Changbin screeched with the last of his breath, his laughter silencing after one last long raspberry was blown to his bellybutton. 

Jeongin pulled Binnie’s shirt down, thoroughly satisfied with the older’s answer as he stood up. And left the room. 

Moments later, the door burst open again  and Felix and Jisung ran in to tackle the rapper to his bed yet again, however, this time, they were armed with brownies and cheer up snacks for some deserved aftercare. 

Binnie learned his lesson to 

#1: Never be a lee to Jeongin 

and 

#2: always be confident, no matter how you look

I thought this one would be just another developer of mobile game that use The Sims 4 contents in its (fake) ads to fraud users by making people belive it is its game, when it has a completely different gameplay.

Unfortunately, Room Makover by FlyBird Casual Games is much more than this.

Room Makover has plenty of false ads. This time I actually tried the game, because the pictures and videos on Google Play were cute and I decided to give it a try.

I was so naive. Happens that the whole page on Google Play is full of fake contents.

It's just one of those mobile games in which you have to match and remove nails. Every time you pass a level, you will rewarded with bills that you can use to unlock part of a building under "makeover". You have just three option for every part of the building or the room to choose between.

There is nothing creative. Not actual building or cluttering rooms or decoring.

As, always, since I'm a curious little bitch, I decided to dig further into this FlyBird Casual Game and... Oh. God. Their site looks even less legit than LUCKY FORTUNE GAMES' one!

It is just a void page. There is nothing here. NOTHING. The only two working section are the privacy and conditions of use, in which they try to convince you that they didn't have any liability for damages or fraud committed.

The privacy one is curious, because mentions this Commissioner's Office in UK and a long list of partners. Both for ads and for data collection, which is hugely uncommon for this kind of games.

Sooooo... In this magical list of apps, I noticed a few tech nightmares, which I will explain briefly here:

Aarki is an AI company that builds advertising solutions to drive mobile revenue growth. Traslated from bullshit: they use AI to generate fake ads and sells it to shady corps.

Blind Ferret is the big deal here! Not only gave you digital marketing solutions, data collection and analytics, but also pays influencers and product placement on social media to promote the game and, hear me out, CREATE fake ads too! It's literally written in their site: "Our Creative Services don’t just make things look pretty. Our team uses data to guide us! How do we make brands shine? By turning the arts into a numbers game with top-performing creative content." This include: Graphic Design, Illustration, 2D Animation, Video Editing and Composition, Copywriting and conceptualizing.

InMobi is a big Corp that does native advertising, which means promoted contents, collabs with influencers, etc.

Ironsource. This one is a fucking cancer. IronSource Ltd. is an Israeli software company that focuses on developing technologies for app monetization and distribution, with its core production focused on the app economy. That would sound harmless, but Samsung use it in its budget and midrange smartphone to install multiple third-party apps during the set-up process. This platform slips bloatware on the pretext of recommended apps, leading to apps clutter and reduction in on-board storage space. The only purpose it exists on Samsung phones is to download games without your consent with no way to remove it (no app installed).

Mintegral is another fucking tech nightmare. Not only poses serious threats to your privacy and datas, but also uses malicious codes to spy your activity and when you seem intentioned to install a mobile app, Mintegral’s software would then fire off fake clicks on non-existent ads to claim credit for the install and essentially collect a bounty from app publishers who pay ad networks to promote their apps.

Mistplay is one of those "play to earn bucks" that I find very very dangerous. Because YOUR data are their revenue.

Tapjoy does monetization of ads and also surveys, that force users to download one from a long list of games, download it and playing for hours or since it is gained some in-game prize. This surveys are rewarded with credits and user can spend on the mobile game they actually want to play. Tapjoy has a huge market among IMVU users, who need credits to buy piece of clothing and accessories for their avi.

The other apps do mobile app marketing, using data collection that allow shady corps to target more gullable and naive people to scam. Plus they do also monetization surveys to earn money and at the same time forcefully grow the engagement of this shady corps.
