Goddard was in his 70s at the beginning of Inquisition. Is he still around and if he is, do you think he’s involving himself with Solas and his world-ending shenanigans?

.I’m kidding ofc he’s around!! I literally made my HoF immortal because I cannot face any of my OCs dying 🙏 tbh I don’t actually know what year DAV is set in because I’ve seen people saying 9:51 and 9:53 so 🤷‍♂️ Goddard was born in 8:70 so he’s in his eighties at least.

.So initially I was like HELL YEAH Goddard Returns!!!!! And then it’s very clear that (as I SAID) the game was basically shoehorning you into being best buddies with Solas regardless of choice and I can tell you that a) Goddard doesn’t have a clue who Solas is and b) he would absolutely kill him on sight if he was presented with a “this guy is trying to end the world” scenario. Anyway, more below 💋.

.Edit!!! Also!!!! Solas stole his fucking wedding ring!!! What the fuck!!!!! He’d beat the shit outta him!!!!!.

.A bit on Goddard’s back story; since he was away so much with the Orlesian Army and then the Fereldan Army he missed out on a lot of his kids’ childhoods, (there’s also a disconnect between him and Fulton II re: Goddard’s own relationship with his father, and then the filicide of Wakefield, and the bastard Lei appearing), and whilst he has repaired the relationships with them he still very much regrets prioritising war over his family even though he was basically taught this from childhood. Goddard was raised to be a tyrant and warmonger, he was made for fighting in wars and winning them. However! He now has the chance to get to spend time with him family, since the Inquisition is over, he handed his army to the Divine, he’s made reparations to the Baroulx family, and he’s absolute besties with Emperor Gaspard.

.Since the end of Inquisition, he’s been retired, he has ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, he went back to ruling his bannorn for a few years, then passed it over to Twyla (his eldest child), and decided he’d rather just do whatever the hell he wants now. He still fights, sparring and what not to keep in shape, he might be old but he’s not going to just crumple into dust!! Also considering I have Goddard II (Twyla’s Grandson/Gylda’s First Born) bethrothed to Gaspard’s daughter Lienne. (they are however children atm), he’s spending a lot of time in Orlais.

.I do think he gets roped back into things when he’s in Orlais. I think Hawke is the first one to realise shit is going down, and since he’s friendly with both Andrastopher (HoF) and Goddard, he kind of gathers them in preparation for something to happen (Varric’s letters grow increasingly worrying). Which means they’re all in Orlais together when shit hits the fan. Also there, is Lei (Goddard’s bastard son and Andrastopher’s Warden Second), and he is tasked with seeing how things are going in the north after Morrigan turns up for aid; after all Lei is a Grey Warden, half-Dalish, and son of the Herald of Andraste. He’s also a pretty good guy and overall trustworthy etc etc. a HUNK lbh.

.(On a side note, I’m 90% sure the Crossroads are like really exhausting to traverse for anyone who isn’t an elf so idk how anyone non-elven is chilling there??? But that’s another factor in Lei going. I’m not reading TME again just to check, but… I should…. For Gaspard 🥴🫶).

.So Goddard just liaises with his son throughout the whole thing, and trusts him entirely to do the right thing. He’s busy fighting for Gaspard, corralling the old Inquisition back together to aid Orlais knowing that Andrastopher is pulling together Ferelden’s armies at the same time. Hawke on the other hand absolutely legs it to Starkhaven to be with Sebastian (oh HC that this is why Starkhaven has the best survival in the Free Marches; Hawke forewarned them) even though their relationship is hush hush 🤫.

.I think Goddard would desperately want to return to Ostwick to be with his family during Veilguard but Twyla has a hand on things and he trusts her implicitly. Also he would look like a mad coward if he left lmao, can you imagine?? Herald of Andraste fleeing home when things get bad????.

.I do like the idea of all four of them getting together post Veilguard, because a) Andrastopher has slept with both Farid (Rook) and Doherty Hawke, b) Doherty would absolutely be mad at Farid for that thing that happens, c) Farid would be mad at Goddard for working with Solas in the first place, d) Goddard and Andrastopher already have beef over their sons anyway, like?? Hello smth is gonna happen with these four guys lbh.

.I do want to say originally Farid was going to be Goddard’s son, as he did have a liaison with a woman at some point before having children with Yetta (his wife) but it would make Farid too old so 🤷‍♂️ then I thought woag what if he was Gaspard’s bastard, and then I couldn’t because it would be borderline ??? Because Farid’s half brother Jean-Esmeral would be sleeping with Gaspard without knowing that their mother had also slept with him several times decades prior and had baby Farid together 😬🙂‍↔️ no thanku.

.The main thing is they’re all safe and sound 🙏 and even if I do love the idea of a last stand in Amaranthine/Starkhaven/Orlais, broken the moment Farid does his thing with the Veilguard ykno ykno, they’re still all safe 🙂‍↕️🫶💕.

Hi! So I haven't read acotar (well a little bit but it didn't hook me) but I've been reading your posts about the upcoming book and I'm so curious, I don't know these characters but the second hand gossip is fun and I'm rooting for them lol when does the book come out? when will it be announced who the protagonists are?

JSHDKAKJSD I had written so much on my phone but then I closed all the apps and I lost it so hopefully I can remember most of it still.

The thing is it's OBVIOUS it's going to be Elain. She has even said in this interview x at 25:00. I don't know why people genuinely think GWYN is going to be the next book 🫠. Her purpose was to help Nesta. Outside of that, there is not much left to tell of her story. It's done. TBH, I completely forgot she even existed after I finished reading ACOSF. Like I kept seeing posts about her on my insta discover, and I was like who tf is Gwyn? 💀

Also just... ELAIN IS THE THIRD ARCHERON SISTER. How can it NOT be about her when Feyre had the first three and then Nesta had the fourth? Like it's so painfully obvious. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just delusional.

Even if it's not Elain and it happens to be Mor, it's NOT going to be Gwyn before Elain LMFAO.

But this is why I think it's going to be Elriel and not Elucien.

Firstly, Koschei the Deathless. The story follows Ivan marries his THREE SISTERS to THREE WIZARDS.

Ivan saw his three sisters wed to the first suitors who came across them—wizards in the form of birds.

Hmmm THREE SISTERS. BIRDS >>>> BATS. 👀

Eventually Ivan goes on to defeat Koschei with the help of his sisters and their husbands.

And then we have another Koschei retelling. The FOX and the FIREBIRD. Listen Sarah was not subtle with the names. Vasalisa >> Vassa. Lucien had a fox mask in ACOTAR, making him the obvious fox. You can read more on it here but I'm going to do a quick summary.

A king has a garden that produces one gold apple a day, but it was stolen every night. He promised half his kingdom to whichever son could catch the thief. He has three sons, and they all tried to catch it. The third son saw the firebird and shot at it, and hit the bird in the wing, but it escaped and left behind a golden feather. The king wants the fire bird and promises whoever brings the fire bird alive would get half the kingdom and be the heir. So they all go out to find the Fire Bird, and they all encounter a Red Fox.

The fox approaches each prince, and asks for something to eat, but the first two shoot at it. The third prince shares his food. So the Red Fox takes him to the palace where the fire bird is and tells him how to grab the fire bird by putting it in the wooden cage, not the golden. Well, the prince says how can a lovely bird be in a wooden cage and proceeds to put it back in the golden, but then basically sounds an alarm and he gets arrested. The King tells him to bring him back a golden man.

The fox says he'll help the prince, but of course the prince is a dumbass and goes I'm gonna choose the pretty one instead of the one the fox told me to choose and he gets arrested and this king says bring back Princess Goldilocks from the Golden Palace in the Black Sea.

Anyways it goes on and the third brother is betrayed by his other two, and the fox brings him back to life. In the end he gets the kingdom, the firebird, Goldilocks, etc. The fox is very instrumental in this story.

SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ALL OF ACOTAR

We have hints that Lucien and Vassa are very close. They talk to each other. Plus they live together along with Jurian.

Plus if it was going to be Elucien there would be hints that Elain even had romantic feelings for him. Even a little attraction. She doesn't. She literally stares at a boiling tea kettle until he leaves because she doesn't want to spend any time with him.

She wants nothing to do with him. And yes sure she says she doesn't want a male, but remember that she is still dealing with the traumatic events of being forced into the cauldron and being changed.

This though, happens a year later with Azriel...

Imagine seeing this in the most recent book, and thinking they're like siblings. Sounds like the antis have some sort of incesty weird freaky ass sibling relationships. 😬

This also happens in the book, which I believe is during the same time? But Az's was a bonus chapter and this was available to everyone.

Elain is not herself around Lucien. I don't understand how anyone can see their relationship and think that's going to be endgame. This was the most recent book.

Even before ACOSF, Nesta and Cassian had this in the previous book that alluded to their romance.

But there is absolutely nothing to allude to any sort of Elucien romance. Elain wants NOTHING to do with Lucien. And honestly, I don't blame her. Who would? He was a part of the most traumatic thing that ever happened to her.

I'll never understand Elucien shippers. If you like Lucien, why would you ship him with someone who wants nothing to do with him? If you like Elain why would you ship her with someone she wants nothing to do with?

I'm 10000000% convinced the Elucien shippers are just Gwynriels who ship them so they can have their ship justified, but most of their evidence is just their headcanons, and them not being able to read between the lines and interpreting things very wrong.

First off, you can basically always send playlist prompts, I’m fine with it, I have a ton of fun with these. It’s just a matter of whether I answer them in a few weeks, months, or years LOL

I confess, before receiving this ask, I had thought about Percy for maybe a grand total of 5 seconds, so suffice it to say that I had no idea what to do about this. However I recently (VERY recently) started rereading the series and I’m slowly remembering who tf he is lol. My playlists for the other Weasley kids all have a huge Britpop influence, so I decided to continue that (along with some other alternative 80s and 90s stuff) on Percy’s. Hopefully it comes across that he is a huge stuck-up nerd, but he is also just a young guy trying to find his place in the world, going through the difficult process of realizing that he's made a mistake, and admitting to himself and the people he hurt that he was wrong... I imagine it was a very humbling experience. Also wow there’s so many great songs about moving on and starting a new life and I don’t think about you at all anymore so idk why you’re even sending me a sweater MOM. Basically I'm quite proud of the lyrics on this one (part of why it took me 10000 years to answer) – so let's get into it

Blur - There’s No Other Way: starting off strong with some early Blur. Tbh I don’t really know what this song is about but I enjoy that it starts out with “You’re taking the fun out of everything.” Soooo true Percy you killjoy

The Wedding Present - Box Elder: Great song about leaving (specifically a relationship – unfortunately most great songs about moving on are about relationships, but whatever)! “I’ve got a lot of things to do / A lot of places to go / I’ve got a lot of good things coming my way / And I’m afraid to say that you’re not one of them.” Yeowch!

Lloyd Cole and the Commotions - Are You Ready To Be Heartbroken?: I adore this song in all its 80s glory! The meaning is a bit ambiguous but imo it’s about being an opinionated, idealistic, pretentious young person (“Making your friends feel so guilty about their cynicism”) who doesn’t realize real life is going to – well – break their heart.

The Smiths - London: I just heard this song for the first time two days ago and omg it's perfect. Like it’s literally about leaving your friends and family behind to go move to London and work in the big city. Percy would 10000% listen to this (and uncritically agree that the only reason his family is mad at him is because they’re jealous of his success and his big boy job at the Ministry)

Ned’s Atomic Dustbin - Selfish: from what I can tell, this song is about being an insecure loser so you get all stuck-up and mean about it. "If I don't know what's cool / Will you call me a loser?" ... “I hope your head's aching from having too much fun” ... “The selfish gene in me / Has finally come into being / He’s teaching me how to be mean / But that’s a sorry sorry state to be in” ..Rather fitting, isn’t it?

The Wedding Present - Getting Nowhere Fast: read an article about this song (the original song, this is a cover) that described it as “the feeling that your failing life isn’t what you signed up for” and honestly I can’t describe it any better than that

Blur - Birthday: this song is about spending your birthday alone and feeling really weird and bad about it. Which is something I hadn’t even considered could have happened to Percy but now I 1000% believe that it did

New Order - Weirdo: These lyrics man. “It’s a life that’s made for me / Where I can be completely free / So long as I obey this sound / That echoes all around” Lollll

Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms: This song is a little dated for Percy’s time, but I quite like putting 80s stuff on here because I think older music adds to Percy's supposed maturity as well as making him seem accurately uncool. And “We’re fools to make war on our brothers in arms” wow sooooo true

The Verve - Neon Wilderness: truly captures the vibes of being a lonely young person living on your own in the big city. I can vividly picture Percy listening to this alone in his flat and slowly realizing what a sad and solitary life he has created for himself…

Pavement - Stop Breathing: THE REALIZATION. This song is technically about a soldier dealing with the emotional toll of war but it works fantastically well for this playlist (the guilt of realizing you were wrong, that you truly hurt others, and that your whole belief system was massively flawed). “Write it on a postcard / Dad they broke me / Dad they broke me.” Ummmmm screaming crying throwing up

The Rentals - It’s Time to Come Home: It really is.

WOWWW this one was so fun! It was a challenge to create a playlist for a character I’m not super familiar with, but honestly that was probably the most fun part about it! It’s so rewarding when you spend some time thinking about a character you (initially) feel neutral towards and force yourself to really consider their motivations and relate to them – I like Percy a lot more now LOL. Note: I have been insanely obsessed with the TF men recently (mainly Garret [Benny], Charlie [Will], and Pedro [Frankie]) and im also very lonely and i watched Top Gun and i got carried away with Iceman/Tom Kazansky blurbs and ficlets until i stumbled upon a wedding blurb. It was mainly Iceman being a hardass with everyone except his girl and i feel like that that’s definitely something Will, Frankie and Tom would do (except i absolutely hate Tom), but since i’m more on my sons of anarchy deep dive also, i decided on writing this for my baby Will. Weddings were fun. For the most part. They’re only ever enjoyable when it’s close friends and family, but even then they’ve always been hard to watch. All the happiness and love was always a hard reminder on you about how you wouldn’t find anyone who would actually treat and see you as an equal and not a toy they can entertain themselves with for a week and drop for the latest and prettiest hot wheels.

You were never the biggest fan. Like you always said, they are fun but hard to watch. But you felt differently the minute you saw your soon to be husband, William Miller on his knee, asking you to be his wife. Not some dickless moron who couldn’t get his head far enough out of his ass to see that he was barely doing the bare minimum when it came to treating you like a partner; an equal lover. But with Will it was different.

He would go above and beyond to make you smile. He would so much as trade shoes with you when your feet hurt from being in heels on date nights. Flip pennies that were tails up on the ground for the next person to find because that was a thing that kept you close to your mom ever since she passed when you were just a teenager. He knew every part of you and cherished every waking moment when he was with you, and even more when you were apart.

This man was the man you would be marrying in just a couple hours. The man you will get to spend the rest of your life with. You couldnt be happier.

You looked yourself over in the mirror as your cousin finished your makeup. You didn’t have sisters only an older brother who had passed. He was supposed to walk you down the isle but he got held in deployment for an extra week, but that week passed and he just never came home. Just a folded flag on your mantle. So, Jazlyn was the closest person to a sibling you had left.

“Aye prima, te ves tan hermosa! You’re breathtaking.” Jazlyn said, level with your ear, looking at you through the reflection in the vanity you two were sitting infront of. “Your mom would have loved seeing you now. She would be absolutely proud of the beautiful woman you have become, hermana. Never forget that.” She kissed your cheek, blowing a kiss through the mirror before she packed the last of her makeup away.

“Stop it, Jazz. Me va a llorar!” You bounced in your seat, shouting playfully to Jazz as you fanned your watering eyes. “I love you, and thank you for doing this. Being here with me since my mom can’t.”

Jazz looked at you as if you just insulted her with the most outrageous insult in the book. “I love you, and you know I wouldn’t miss this for the world babe! You are my little sister and I would do everything in my power tenfold just to see you happy like you deserve. You earned it prima! Now I gotta check on the bridesmaids and setup to make sure it’s perfect.” With one last kiss to your cheek, you smiled and sighed.

“Okay I have my first look with the boys right now. See you in an hour for the wedding.” As she exited the room, you walked over to the full length mirror as you flattened out the white lace fabric of your dress, doing a once over on your whole body to make you looked perfect.

Exiting through the main door, you followed the rather empty hallway to two big glass doors leading to a small well, surrounded by beautiful summer flowers. A June wedding always being your ideal and dream timeframe of a wedding, and of course William Miller would do anything for his girl. You could already see the boys facing the well, their backs to you as you followed the small pebbled path to them as your best friend, Camila, kept them in line and facing the right way as she saw you approaching.

“Okay, are you guys ready?” You spoke softly as you fixed the tail of your dress and the two front strands hanging out from your tightly yet neatly put together braided bun.

A stream of “hell yea’s” and whooping came from the men as you took a deep breath and giving them the okay to turn around. Immediately you wanted to cry. The looks on their faces were enough to bring another grown man to tears. Adoration, joy, and shock took on ever inch their faces fairly well.

Immediately after wiping away a tear, cautious enough to not smear mascara or wipe away foundation, you turn to Benny to see him crying and sighing loudly as he wiped away his tears. “Aw, Benny! Stop it! Your gonna make me cry.” You giggled wiping away another tear before being enveloped in a bear hug by your future brother in law.

“I can’t help it, you look absolutely beautiful Cass. God, my brother is one lucky man and you are one beautiful bride.” He pulled away, flattening out your dress once more, scared of wrinkling it do to his hug along with your hair as he brushed back some flyaways before resting his palms against his eyes, ceasing any more stray tears.

“Thank you, Ben. I love you.” Your eyes were watery but not enough to draw anymore tears thank god. As your eyes fell on the other two men, you couldn’t help but notice their bloodshot eyes as the admired you in your dress. In all your deservingly happy-bride glory.

“You look stunning, cariño. Wills gonna fight like hell to not cry over you.”

“Thank you, Frankie. You don’t look too shabby yourself. You clean up very well, brother. I almost don’t recognize you without your oiler hat.” You admired Frankie and his confidence for geling his hair back with the guest appearence of his grays. Salt and pepper looked good on him.

“Yeah right. Will won’t fight it. He’s gonna cry more than we did, plus you combined when he sees you walking down the isle.” Benny added, emphasizing the ‘you’ with a pointed finger in your direction.

“Estás preciosa. Haces una hermosa novia, princesa. I can’t believe this is the same woman I met 6 years ago.” Santiago placed both of his hands on your cheeks, cautious enough to not mess up your makeup, and he kissed your forehead.

“Gracias, mano. I can’t believe that 6 years ago I met the love of my life and lifelong bestfriend-brothers.” Santi wiped a fallen tear before he placed another kiss ok your forehead, Frankie and Benny doing the same.

Benny held out his arm on your right, and Santi on your left. Accepting their embrace, you laced your arms through before smiling at the both of them and then to your bestfriend.

“Okay, I guess i’ll get the back of her dress.” Frankie sighed as he picked up the tail of your dress.

“Let’s go get you married.” Camila said after taking a pictures of the whole reveal affair.

“Let’s go get me married.”

“Please stand for the bride.” The priest said, slowly lifting his hand signaling everyone.

Will adjusted his tie, eyes already stained with tears as Benny was in the same shape, placing his hand on his brothers shoulders briefly.

Everyone stood, and that was your cue to start the walk as heartfelt acoustic started to play. Walking down the isle, your arm locked with your father who couldn’t contain his tears as he was about to give his daughter away to the most and only worthy man on this earth, to love his only daughter.

As you were nearing the end of the isle, you watched Will, Benny, Frankie, and Pope wipe away tears as they watched you walk down the isle. Giggling softly at the greatest, most caring, loving men you have been blessed with all those years ago in that rickety bar, you let your dads arm go as you connected your hand with Wills.

“You may be seated.” The priest said to the guests as you found your spot next to your man on the small platform you and the wedding group stood upon. “I take this moment to wish you both immense happiness in your future lives together. We are gathered here today, family and friends, to witness the sacred union of William Miller and Cassie Reyes. We stand here to honor and celebrate the love shared between these two people, as they come together to start their new life together with a solemn vow, surrounded by their closest family and friends.”

You couldn’t fight the urge to not look at the handsome man next to you as the priest spoke. You looked at Will, the thought of spending the spending the rest of your lives together sending a swarm of butterflies through your stomach, and a wide smile to your face. He must’ve felt you staring as he looked down to you and reciprocated the same shining smile.

Tears evident in both your eyes, you continued to smile and turn your gaze back to the priest.

Both of you excited to start the rest of your lives together as husband and wife.

“You both may share the vows you have prepared. William, you may start.” The officiate gestures to Will as you both faced one another. Will reached into the inside pocket of his blazer, grabbing the small vow book, courtesy to the lovely couple, Camila and Benny.

“My sunshine, Cass. You are the most kind-hearted woman I have had the pleasure of meeting. Your strong and your the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on. I met you at one of the lowest points in my life, you’ve seen the sleepless nights, the scars, the darkest parts of me. Everything.” You squeezed the hand of his you were holding, forgetting about your makeup as you cried looking at the man before you. His eyes met yours and they had the same look in them as they did all those years ago. Awe, love, adoration, and happiness. “You’ve seen all the ugly parts of me and you still choose me. You chose me when you had every reason to leave. The love and care you have given me all these years is more than what i could’ve asked for. The sleepless, ruthless nights won’t even exist because I could sleep forever next to you. I can’t wait for our movie nights, watching movies we’ve both already seen. While your watching the screen, i’ll only be looking at you. While your looking and pointing out all of your flaws i’ll be there to tell you your most sexiest woman in the world,”

Will drew a laugh from everyone, including you. You laughed, hiding the blush rising in your cheeks. “I’ll be there to tell you that in my eyes you are perfect, as you are. When there’s things i have to do, i’ll blow off all those plans for you because you, Cass, are the most important thing to me and everyone can wait in line. I love you Cass, in sickness and in health, for the rest of my life baby, til death do us part.” As Will finished his vows, he wiped tears away from his eyes, the crowd ‘ou’ing and ‘awe’ing. You mouthed an ‘I love you’ as Jazz, your maid of honor, handed you your vow book.

“Awe man! How am I supposed to compete with that?” You sniffled, earning a couple of laughs, as you cleared your throat to start your vows. Opening your mouth, you already started to get choked up, barely getting the word ‘my’ out before a small sob escaped your mouth. Jazz and Camila patted your back, and Will squeezed your hand.

Will have you a small wink, and mouthed ‘You got this, baby’ before smiling at you.

“My dearest Will,” Again your voice cracked, the tears and chokedness evident in your voice, but you continued. “I don’t know where to begin to express the love and gratitude I have for you. You are the first man to ever love me like how a woman is supposed to be loved. You showed me what it’s like to be someone’s first choice, all the time, and no matter the place. Your kind, caring, compassionate, and although you would never admit this to your friends, you are gentle. I’ve always loved that about you. I knew you were the one for me when you were walking me home from the coffee shop around the corner from my house, when you noticed a penny on the sidewalk infront us. It was heads down, and you flipped it over and kept walking. When i asked you why you had done it, you said “So the next person to find it has good luck.” That’s when I knew i’d love you forever. Your selfless, and you always remember the little things, like when I told you me and my mom loved flipping heads down pennie’s for other people when I was a kid.” You wiped tears that were rapidly falling, Will doing the same across from you.

“I will never try to change you. I will always want the same you. Scars, sleepless nights and all. I want that because I want you, forever. All of you. I swear on everything I pray to, that I won’t break your heart. When you can’t fight, i’ll fight. When you get lonely, i’ll be there to hold you. I’ll keep all the secrets that you’ve told me. Your love is all you owe me. I promise to love you til my lungs give out, for sickness and in health. Forever and always, my love. Til death do us part.” You and Will shared a big smile and the same look. Love. You couldn’t be happier and neither could he. You two were about to be officially married and all you could think about was how happy you both were.

“Do you William Miller, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for as long as you both shall live?” The priest watched will waiting for his answer. All he saw was the way Will was looking at you, a smile on his face. The priest had already knew the answer.

“Hell yes, I do.”

“Do you Cassie Reyes, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for as long as you both shall live?”

“Fuck yea, I do.” At this point you didn’t even care about the language you had both been using. All you could care about at the moment was marrying the man you loved and wanting to kiss him for the first time as his wife.

The priest laughed, along with most of the venue as he continued his speech. “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride.” He couldnt for finish his sentence before Will grabbed your cheeks and kiss you passionately. Cheers and hollers were heard among the venues courtyard as you and Will shared your first kiss as husband and wife.

Will pulled away, and smiled. “Hey.” He whispered against your lips.

“Hey, Mr. Miller.” You whispered back.

“Im gonna kiss you again. You okay with that, Mrs. Miller?” Will smiled at the sound of his last name used in reference to you. He could definitely get used to that.

“Absolutely.”

Ramblings on 🪲 🧃 sequel below (untagged bc I don’t really want discourse)

Apparently some people genuinely think BJ having Lyd’s picture on his desk in the second movie is proof that he’s madly in love with her and like

…y’all can have your takes but keep them over there

Do I believe he may have become fixated on her the past 36 years bc she epitomizes a failure and he’s a messy bitch who loves revenge and the last word? Totally

But like dude. Did we watch the same two movies????? What do you MEAN he’s IN LOVE with the FOURTEEN YEAR OLD he was clearly just trying to marry for the sake of his larger goal of getting tf out of the afterlife, who he hasn’t seen or spoken to in over three decades???

And I say this AS A SHIPPER, I’ve always shipped them (not with her as a kid but I loved the cartoon growing up and you don’t think too much about the age gap when you yourself are a kid), and like.

Do I think the sequel should have ended with them getting hitched and trying to figure out this new weird dynamic? Yeah absolutely I’m writing fic about it as we speak, I think it was a cop out and a coward’s move that they didn’t

(Also the editing was SO BAD, the whole fucking wedding song is like 7+ minutes and the editing is telling you they’re going to get married, it’s BUILDING towards them getting married, so when they don’t then it’s just a let down. The original movie wedding scene was edited with the goal being STOP THE WEDDING therefore when he gets sandwormed, the scene has fulfilled its goal!!! Huge difference! You can’t be like “oh THIS time they’re totes gonna do it WHOOPS nah nvm” YOU COWARDS

It has the same vibes as the GOT finale being shit bc the writers were salty about people guessing the twists and changing it out of spite

God the editing was bad throughout especially with the pacing but whatever)

But I do NOT think he’s madly in love with her or anything, not at that point. He might be obsessed with her but that’s not love, he just wants to finish what he started and he loves making people uncomfortable.

He’s a grifter and he keeps people off balance by being random and crass and disgusting so you keep going “wait what? Ew!” instead of getting room to think critically or formulate strategy to oppose him

And all the overtly romantic gestures he makes towards Lyds are just that???? He wants to get married for the “getting out” part and he acts like he’s in love with her and “sincere” about it bc that’s what he thinks it’ll take to get her to agree+grossing her out+wearing her down

IF they were forced to spend time together and he wasn’t allowed to hurt her or people she cares about, MAYBE they could grow a very weird and dysfunctional kind of love. It’d be fucked up but it’d be interesting and entertaining hence the fic

But like?? Just in the text??? There is definitely no actual love there and if you think so…we clearly have very different definitions of love like yeesh

The most generous I would be is he might have a soft spot for her. I mean, if you spend long enough thinking about someone, even if you hate them, it means you care. I do think he cares about her, but not in a romantic way.

More like you’d care about a spot you missed while painting and you keep staring at the little gap which is tiny and barely noticeable really but it BOTHERS you bc fuck that should’ve been a gimme, you were in the zone you had all your paints and brushes and you were cooking, how the fuck did you miss that one little spot???

And having that unresolved feeling grow over the years until he’s not able to think about other methods or alternatives to achieve his goal, so it shifts from “escape the afterlife” to “fuck with Lyds to make up for that one time,” explain it as being in love to other people bc frankly that’s less weird than what is actually happening and bc he has a reputation for being gross to maintain

That’s my interpretation anyway and I just. Am utterly baffled by how anyone can look at what is presented on screen and go “oh he totally loves her.” No, I think he wants to have power over her bc she fucked him over once, and it’s especially humiliating that she was a kid at the time. THAT’S what all the flirting and fuckery is about, it’s about power and control.

He acts random and out of control but that’s how he controls the pace of the interaction! That’s him exerting power over people and situations! In my personal definition of love he would actually do that LESS bc for real love to exist there needs to be respect, and he has NONE in the movies

Which is why an in-character fic would need to be a serious slow burn to get him to even BEGIN to ENTERTAIN the notion of MAYBE having a TINY bit of respect for anybody or anything

And that’s interesting!!! That’s so interesting and possible if difficult! He DOES actually help her both in the original movie and this one, and that’s the tiny little chink in the armor that makes the fic writer in me go there, that’s our way in.

He has SOME lines he won’t cross—if he makes a deal he sticks to his end of the bargain. After that you’re just haggling over price, and that’s where the fic comes in, but if you expect me to go right from the start with him being in love with her…yeah no absolutely not, you’ve just skipped over all the juicy bits

Also even if/when he does catch feelings, he’d take forever to realize it and when he did he’d be PISSED. You’d have to drag him kicking and screaming into being even slightly nicer, he’d HATE being truly emotionally attached to someone, I think he’d find it utterly appalling and unacceptable bc to him that’s giving power over him to someone else

Which ultimately is what I think he hates about being dead and being summoned with his name, those are rules that have power over him and THAT’S why he wants out. He wants freedom most of all and I think it would take a very specific situation and a LONG time to maneuver him into a relationship that he wouldn’t find confining, or at least find acceptably confining

Anyway I gotta get back to writing

1: For the Kochou sisters in Moonlit Butterfly, How was the Butterfly Estate, and how did you get along with the triplets?

Kanae: Do you mean the Sunrise Estate? If so, it was lovely. Miss Nezuko has a lovely place to live, and it doubles as a hospital! Shinobu and I get along swimmingly with the other girls, and we've occasionally helped around the mansion with our pharmaceutical expertise from our parents.

Shinobu: Yes!

2: To the Shabana siblings in Burning Ribbons, How do you feel about the Kamado siblings, and how did you meet them?

Ume: Well, one tried to burn me from the inside, and the other tried to skewer me at least eighty times. So... not particularly high opinions of them.

Gyutaro: *growling*

Ume: But... I guess I also can't deny we have our similarities. I hate admitting it, but Gyutaro and I would do the same as them if we were in their shoes. I... I hope they can find peace in their next lives. That wouldn't be the worst thing.

Gyutaro: Hm. *Pat's Ume's head*

Ume: As for how we met them? We actually met them before I was even a Demon Slayer. They were masquerading as an Oiran... Well, at least one of them was. I don't know what the situation was, whether it was cross dressing or shapeshifting or some freaky combination. And frankly, I didn't care to ask. I'm just surprised we never got turned into demon food at any point I lived with them.

Gyutaro: *sigh of relief and agreeing nod*

3: For the Twelve Kizuki and Muzan in S&TF, How do you feel about Upper Three?

Muzan: She was weak when I found here, clearly inches from death. Her growth since then has certainly been impressive. I can't deny I'm curious what led such a weakling to cause such a massacre to be mistaken for a demon.

Kokushibo: Her strength is certainly to be admired, even if she has the occasional lack of respect for our rules and hierarchy. Undoubtedly, an impressive member of our ranks.

Douma: Oh, she's just adorable! I don't get why she always gets so violent with me, though. I just want to be friends!

Hantengu: Terrifying!

Gyokko: Most impeccable! She has her Blood Demon Art down to a most destructive art form, and the beauty of it is to be admired!

Gyutaro: She's okay. Strong. Not much else to say.

Daki: She's so amazing! Not as beautiful as me, of course, but she certainly isn't difficult on the eyes. I intend to reach her level someday.

4: Yoriichi and Uta in S&TF, How did you two meet, and how was your wedding?

Yoriichi: I had run away from home after my mother's passing.

Uta: We met in a rice paddy. I was collecting tadpoles after losing my family to plague, but let them go so they wouldn't be apart from their family. But Yoriichi stayed with me, and we've been inseparable ever since. And our wedding was beautiful! It was quiet, since we only really had each other, but I loved every second of it! All that mattered was I was marrying my best friend!

Yoriichi: I agree. I wouldn't have had our wedding any other way.

5: MPCS Nezuko and Daki, How does it feel being the only female Upper Moons? Do the two of you ever do "Girls' Nights"?

Daki: I like to think it speaks of our strength. We're simply better than most, that we can compete with the other Upper Moons. Especially considering Lady Tsukihime is at the top.of the hierarchy.

Nezuko: I certainly don't mind having another girl in the Upper Moons. The company and amiability is certainly not garnering complaints from me. I occasionally visit the Entertainment District to check on Daki and Gyutaro, and we spend our time together there. Usually Daki and I will do each other's hair.

Daki: Just because we're killing those vile Slayers, doesn't mean we need to look disgusting while doing it. And you look gorgeous with your hair done up in more elaborate styles, I don't know why you don't do it more often.

Nezuko: Mostly for practicality's sake. My usual style is easier than what updos you give me, though I have kept most of the accessories you've gifted me.

6: Miyuri, What's your favourite seasons and weather?

Summer, and sunny days. I run cold, so warmer weather makes it easier for me to regulate my internal body temperature. Especially when using Snow Breathing.

There isn’t enough fanart of Samidare, this is a crime. How dare.

Anyway it’s about time I finally got to this! I’m really nervous about writing for the Gou boys and I won’t lie that I looked to @sword-brainrot‘s headcanons for Buzen and Matsui for help and I do hope that I’m not like...ripping anything off. I’m sorry if I am! I’ll do my best though!

Warnings: Blood since ya know...Matsui is Matsui.

Buzen Gou

Bu-chan no doubt is a man who is very ticklish. He’s already pretty physically affectionate with you before the relationship, giving you sideways hugs when asked and as you two grow to be more comfy with each other, it leads to lil tickle fights. No im not say that you two during confessed during the tickle fight tf

But if you are also a morning person and often see Buzen running, he will happily ask of you to join him! You two will do all kinds of exercise routines together and sure he’ll slow down to accommodate your pace until it’s him at a brisk jog and you are at a full run because hOLY HELL ARE HIS LEGS GOOD.

Buzen won’t notice his feelings for you for a while, not until someone comments on it. Most likely will be his brothers though, who will notice that he will often slows down to a grinding halt when around you during his runs, sometimes just walking by your side in a comfortable silence instead of dashing on ahead.

Buzen will hesitate to confess, but if he did, it will be something along the lines of: “Slowing down is rather difficult for me. But it’s wonderful to do so. Just being by your side, existing in the same space, taking in the sights around us. It’s beautiful. But my heart...” he would place a hand on his chest, right over that organ, “Is always running faster than I could ever catch up with whenever I’m with you. I think...I think I’m in love with you.”

The minute you return his affections, this man is over the moon! He is ecstatic! He wraps you in his arms, presses kisses to your face, all of the love he had been storing away finally coming to surface. All of the kisses, all of the hugs, all of the hand holding!

Daily runs with you are still going to be a thing. Now though they turn into morning and evening rituals. In the morning you two go on a brisk jog to start the day and in the evening you two will go on a small walk in the forest, holding hands and talking about your day before stopping back at your rooms and giving each other a lil peck of a kiss before you two go to bed.

There is no doubt that Buzen is an early riser and he can cook…kind of. It’s probably simple things like toast and butter for the carbs and nothing too complicated. It’s decent and it’s obvious that he cares. But Buzen does begin packing snacks for his runs, a lil energy bar for him and you!

There are times when Buzen wants to slow down, that’s when he’ll seek you out. Wherever you are, he will find you with a gentle smile pressed upon his lips, wrapping his arms around you and inhaling your scent. Will put his head in your lap or make you put your head in his lap. Whatever works! Lap pillows all around. Buzen will want you to slow down as well, take in the time you two share. Who knows when it will end, huh? Don’t be surprised for Buzen to whisk you away when you’re stressed and have too much to do. He’ll take you out for a lil walk to clear your head, holding hands all the time.

The rest of his siblings are not so subtly screaming about wedding bells behind both of your backs.

Cuddle bear? Cuddle bear. In public his PDA is rather sporadic, depending on how he feels. Don’t think that he doesn’t love you or anything, but it ebbs and flows with how he feels at the time. Sometimes he’ll wrap an arm around you, a cheek kiss, holding hands, and sometimes it’ll be silence and then all of a sudden a random kiss outta nowhere in front of his brothers. Of course he is very respectful of your space too, and most of the time it’s just hand holding and hand kisses.

Back to the ticklish Buzen, Buzen is rather ticklish so he will almost scream if you have cold hands against his warmer skin. It will turn into a tickling match if you try to tickle him though. So tickle him at your own will.

Oh dude he loves picking you up randomly, princess carries are his specialty. Piggy back rides, whatever! He just wants an excuse you carry you!!!! Just to be close to you!!

Buzen adores homemade things, and will most likely have something of yours to hold on to during missions. It gives him a bit of a sense of home, because it’s not a physical place, you are his home. If you made him something to take on to missions he’ll cherish it with all of his heart. In turn, this extends to you as well. He is pretty good with his hands, can sew and knit a little bit as he picked it up probably from the other swords around the citadel. Will make small little trinkets for you and the best thing he can do is a scarf. A rather…messy scarf but warm none the less.

Yeah Buzen will sometimes take off his shirt during his runs just to tease you, winking his eye as you flush.

Will also adore horseback riding with you!!! Horses are fast after all and he probs raced against one but like, just hanging on to him intimately as you two have a day to yourselves?? Best.

Matsui Gou

It…takes a long time to get a relationship with Matsui. It’s slow, full of ups and downs, pains and sorrows yet happiness. Matsui doesn’t speak of his feelings often and doesn’t show them. On the outside it is a calm sort of façade, keeping you at an arm’s length. He does not dare to let you into his mind, oh so full of blood and sin. Even the idea of being near you scares him.

One day you had wiped his nose clean from the crimson that dripped from it, and Matsui was almost ready to faint at the close proximity. Heart hammering in his chest. A part of him wants to run, and he almost does. At the edge of his chair, muscles screaming at him to flee. But there is another part of him that just…wants to be closer. He kept those feelings silent and dormant for so long, hesitant to let anyone in. Why would he when all he is good at is being a weapon? To spill the blood of the enemy? It hurts to be around you, it almost makes him cry.

It’s going to take a long time before he even tries to open up to you, and when you do confess, Matsui almost thinks it’s some kind of cruel joke. It’s not that he doubts you, it’s fate that is just so cruel to him. Why would you love him? Who set you up to this? Was it his brothers? Matsui will ask for time for his answer, mulling over it for quite a while, going on expeditions to be away from you in order to get his head sorted out.

When he does return your affections and confession, his hands will shake, never daring to look at you and whispering something that is oh so faint, “I…you know as well as I do that I do not deserve you, master. I am a weapon, we all are. In hindsight, it is forbidden to enter a relationship with us. We are killers, we ruin the lives of people. But…I do not want to leave your side. I want to stay with you…if you will have me?” and there may be tears pricking at the edge of his eyes. Hug him, give him a kiss, PLEASE.

Matsui is the most selfless of lovers. He knows heartbreak can happen in a relationship and will not mind if you leave him, even if the thought terrifies him. He is oh so willing to do anything and everything for you! In his own little ways of course. It might just be as simple as waking you up in the morning or helping you sort paperwork or just existing by your side. As long as he can be with you and breathe the same air as you, he is happy.

Matsui is not the biggest on PDA. If he does want it/if you want to initiate it, there’s always some sort of ask. “May I hold your hand?” “May I kiss you?” “May I sit beside you?” Matsui is a man that respects boundaries and has some of his own. It will take a while for him to become comfy with the idea of a relationship and PDA. He is trying his best after all, and sometime he is a little distant. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for you, he’s just having trouble sorting out why the hell you love him so much?????

Like Buzen, Matsui also has a fondness for little homemade things. If you make him something, Matsui might start sobbing right then and there. You care about him so much? He doesn’t understand it! Hug him please, rub his back and soothe him. Matsui does enjoy shopping and will most likely find some kind of item at a store for you to hang on to while he’s away! During missions he will not let this little trinket of yours leave his side – Gods save the one who breaks it/steals it.

Be very patient as you are patching up Matsui. He may flinch at your touch every now and then before melting into it, cheeks flushed and sometimes trying to not show you how it affects him like this. He will also hold your hand during his repairs.

If you have some sort of skincare routine or into fashion, expect Matsui to watch you in utter awe. He will pick up some magazines about such things and will accompany you will you shop. You two will have a shopping date together and it’s sweet! He loves pampering you and being pampered in return! He isn’t a wasteful spender though, having a bit of a budget. But sometimes he can’t help it spending a lilll bit over it just to spoil you though!

Getting him spontaneous gifts makes him bury his face in his hands, trying to hide his flushing face and nosebleed. Kiss his cheek and take care of him during this time, sweetie! He’ll appreciate it!

Matsui also values nutrition so don’t be surprised if you see him and Kuwana in the kitchen or Matsui with any other sword that knows how to cook. Matsui can cook, kind of, but he will want to watch your health. He makes rather simple healthy meals whenever he can, giving them to you. Reads all about human nutrition and knows exactly what to make/ask for from Kuwana to help give you a boost in energy or to fulfill your hunger.

The day Matsui holds your hand out of his own volition in public is a sweet one, his cheeks flushed and fingers lacing with yours, squeezing it tightly as though you will disappear. Reward him with a kiss and watch the blood drip from his nose from pure excitement…and maybe pass the fuck out.

It’s no secret that Matsui is a very private person. He won’t talk much about his life and it’ll take a long time for you to get past the hints or the lil self-depreciating jabs he makes at himself. All he asks is that you are there for him, be an ear for him to talk to.

Matsui is also the kind of person who leaves behind little notes for you while you’re busy to cheer you up. Simple little things signed by him with a lil snack or something, left outside of your office when he knows you’re swamped with work. He is almost sporadic with these sorts of instances.

Matsui has nightmares a lot and loves it when you run a hand through his hair, lulling him to sleep. It’s one of the few times he can sleep properly.

Samidare Gou

Samidare is nothing short of loyal. He is a ‘dog’ after all, and his loyalty towards you will never waver. He’s not Hasebe levels but more so of a quiet observer. There are times when he is there watching over you in silence, like a ninja yes, but then there are times when you surprise him by calling him out. He will jolt and ask what it is you will need but will slowly come to seek out your presence. It brings him a sense of comfort, and who knows, he kinda looks like a puppy trailing after you after all.

It’s probably someone (be it his brothers or someone else close to you) that notices Samidare’s habits. The way he lights up whenever you are around, one could almost see the slowly-hurried wagging of an invisible tail behind him. They will confront him about this and Samidare almost has a lightbulb form over his head. He will stop for a moment, sitting down, head in his hands as he ponders over this new revelation. You do make him happy after all and again he does follow you around like a puppy…but it’s almost different? His heart races when he’s around you, for the better. He wants to hide in the shadows but does not, to bask in your light.

And then one day you suddenly start noticing these little poems at your office desk, in an envelope with a wax seal of no one’s crest, as though someone had used your personal belongings to make it. You can see that your drawers had been slightly rummaged through and you were ready to see who the hell it was but when you open the letter it’s a haiku??? Of love??? Who the hell?????? And then the letters will not stop coming over the next few days.

You immediately begin to file down the suspects: Kasen, Izuminokami, Mitsutada? Who else could be into poetry like this? Of course there is someone around the citadel who can’t keep his damn mouth shut and you eventually pry the information out of them. So you immediately go and make your own poem to confess back and dash over to Samidare. When he sees that you figured him out, his cheeks go full red and there is a mumble under his breath, you can see his hands shaki- is that another letter in his hands? “Yes…I did indeed make those letters for you. I do not know if you…will return my feelings but, I wanted to tell you that you are important to me. There are not enough poems in the world to tell you how I feel or…or well…do forgive me if you do not return my feelings.” And then you pass your own poem to him, his face practically goes even redder as he reads it. Pull him into a kiss right then and there, do it, do it for me. Make him flush even more red, make him pass the fuck out.

Samidare is rather neutral with PDA. He won’t mind it in front of others but will absolutely go red if you initiate it. He won’t initiate it often unless you two are in private. Only then will he turn into a big ol cuddle bug.

Head pats. He almost preens whenever you give him a head pat. He will lean into every touch you grace him with, whining and whimpering whenever you leave him. Samidare is also very much into neck and shoulder kisses, so don’t be surprised if he comes up behind you silently (you can always tell its him though, no one else closes in on you like that with such gentleness) and gives you kisses on your skin when you two are alone.

Samidare adores spending time with you, so you two make it almost a habit of going for a daily walk in the forest or out in the city/town. He adores exploring and finding new places to spend his time with, and since becoming your romantic partner, the enjoyment has only tripled! He just has to hold your hand during these times too!

Murakumo may be a bit jealous of how close Samidare is with you, but when he sees how happy you make Samidare, he relents. He knows that you would never hurt him and besides, all of the Gou family approves of the relationship! As long as Samidare is happy, Murokumo will be happy! Will be subtly planning your wedding when you two aren’t looking.

Samidare does get a bit jealous at times as well. He isn’t the type to be angry or anything, and he’s a bit of a sulky person when he’s jealous, like a big ol puppy. He’ll try not to show it though. It’s kind of obvious when you two are along and he just clings to you like no tomorrow.

Samidare is also rather quiet, and is more than willing to sneak up on you. Though after you two got into a relationship, he has become much more in tune with you if you’re a jumpy sort of person. He doesn’t want to alarm you! So when he is going to sneak up on you to give you a hug, he’ll normally whisper in a calm voice, “I’m here.” And wait for you to come to him. You can just lean back into his embrace and he’ll catch you!

If you think Hasebe or Tomoe are super in tune with your schedule, you haven’t met Samidare. Samidare always seems to know the right time to pop into your study and get your mind off of things. He’ll find his way into your office through door or window, with a snack in tow or just a hug.

Lap pillows. Oh man he loves laying his head on your lap and letting you run your fingers through is purple hair. Dude it’s the bEST. He falls asleep right then and there. If you ask for a lap pillow, Samidare will happily return the favor! Also will switch up being the spoon in bed. Big spoon? Little spoon? Who cares?! As long as you two are together, hugging it out, comfortable in each other’s presence, he is happy!

There is no doubt that this man is protective of you. The citadel is fine, everyone is able to kick some ass and none will dispute your authority but outside of the citadel? With strangers???? No fam, you are going to stay safe and protected, he’ll fight the world for you.

Also adores puppies! He loves animals and if you take him to like an animal café or the zoo, you’ll lose him within the first few steps into the damn place. Of course he’ll always come running back to you. No worries! He’ll find his way back!

Don’t think the poems are going to stop when you two are beginning to date. Oh no! In fact every morning you wake up with a poem. It could be one already written by a famous poet, or one that Samidare makes up on the fly, inspiration coming from just gazing at you. He will also deliver poems to you to cheer you up. In fact, the poem you wrote your confession on is always kept in his pocket whenever he’s out on a mission or something. It’s his good luck charm! You could have an entire little album of poems he’s written for you at this rate.

He is absolutely willing to make the first move. He’s a very perceptive man and can easily tell if social situations give you anxiety. He’s more than happy to be social for the both of you.

He thinks your glasses are adorable and sometimes he tries them on when you’re not around.

Both of you are basically flirting with each other by trying to impress each other and it’s quite hilarious to watch as a third party. (Pleaseee just admit your feelings already dorks)

Heyo! So, I’m really sorry, but Terushima is not technically on the list of boys to write for, and I just don’t feel like I know him well enough for these types of headcanons. I’ll stick with Ushijima and Daichi, and I’ll just be doing marriage headcanons, since sex is kinda a no-go for me and I’m not really sure what you mean by like / dislike aha. Sorry ;-; I really loved writing these!

Ushijima

He would definitely be one to get married a bit later in life. He just has a lot on his plate, and he knows what a big commitment it is, so he wants to be able to devote as much of himself to it as possible.

When he does propose to you, he gets just a tiiiiny, tiny bit teary-eyed. His proposal isn’t flowery or long, but he tells you in his own up-front, honest way that he appreciates the way you’ve always been there for him and supported him even though he knows it wasn’t easy. He says that now it’s his turn to step up and be there for you the way you deserve.

Now you’re teary-eyed too.

He gets weirdly into the wedding planning, like he has a notebook and everything. He’s so organized about it. It helps you feel a little less frazzled.

On the big day, watching you walk down the aisle toward him, he’s just a little overcome by everything because tbh he didn’t really fully comprehend that this is real until that moment.

He holds your hands so tight and he’s not really smiling so some of your guests are a little concerned but you can see it in his eyes - he’s just totally and completely and perfectly in love with you and it hits you hard.

Married life with him is just so calm and nice. He’s definitely one for routine, so things don’t get changed up a lot and it’s just really comfortable.

He ALWAYS makes time for you. His life is still kind of hectic, but he’s very intentional about making sure you don’t get pushed aside.

Every month he has one day set aside that is purely time for the two of you to chill, or go on a date, or whatever. It’s YOUR day. Nothing will get in the way of it.

When it comes to kids, the two of you have a very serious conversation. He just wants to be sure that you both know what to expect and that you’re both truly ready for the huge responsibility.

And he’s the most caring dad. When he holds your baby for the first time he gets a little misty-eyed. He decides immediately that he will do whatever it takes to make sure your child is safe and happy and loved.

Overall, he just takes marriage / fatherhood / everything very seriously, and he does what he has to do to make it a priority.

Daichi

Daichi is one I could see marrying his high school sweetheart. He’s a pretty simple guy and he knows what he wants, so he goes after it. It’s kind of a no-brainer for him.

He proposes to you at a simple time, with some of your closest friends there. There’s nothing flashy about it, and it takes you a few moments to really grasp that holy crap this is happening right now.

He has this huge smile on his face when he asks you, and he had this little speech prepared but in the moment all he can really get out is how much he loves you and how he can’t imagine his life without you in it.

He hugs you SO TIGHT after you say yes.

He leaves the planning mostly to you, all he’ll say is that he’s happy with whatever you want, and tbh it’s a little irritating when you’re trying to get his opinion on something lmao

He’s, like, v i b r a t i n g on the wedding day. He just can’t believe it’s actually happening, and Suga has to punch him in the gut to remind him to chill tf out. (ofc Suga is his best man)

When he watches you walking toward him, he’s just pretty much frozen. All he sees is you. His cheeks hurt because he can’t stop freaking smiling all day. Expect so many tiny kisses throughout the reception and everything.

Daichi is like A+ husband material, tbh. He’s willing to compromise, the two of you work together on pretty much everything be it cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, you name it.

He makes it a point to say “I love you” before you go to sleep every night.

The talk about kids comes up relatively soon after you’re married. It just seems like the natural next step for him.

He’s a really great dad and takes it so seriously. He will help out with anything and everything you need. Spending one-on-one time with your kid(s) is super important to him.

Honestly, in the same way that I feel Bokuto is best boyfriend, imo Daichi is best husband.
