URGENT: help marah and her family survive and evacuate
hello everyone, i'm going to make this post short so more people will hopefully read through and reblog.
marah balousha (blog: @freepaleatine95 @mahrahpalestine) is a computer science student in gaza who has been fundraising for months for her family. her campaign is vetted by 90-ghost.
marah's parents both have diabetes and are in urgent need of medical care that is not available in gaza. the balousha family has also lost their house, pets, and businesses. they plan to use the funds raised for day-to-day living, and eventually aim to evacuate to egypt.
please help marah and her family by reblogging this post and donating what you can. the least you can do is take a minute of your time to contribute. thank you all so much.

#one thing i was thinking about#is how the people giving frank orders tell him who to kill by texting him a single number#bc that's all the retired agents are to the higher ups; numbers#and what goes through frank's head getting the texts when there's a giant F on his back as proof he's nothing but a letter to them too#there's no way he isn't thinking about it#moving kdrama

Feeling incredibly sick and angry about everything. I’ll go about my day and try to be normal and then it just ambushes me and honestly the only people keeping me sane rn are the Arabs who’ve voiced similar experiences and are staying the course and being vocal despite all the attempts to basically blame everything that’s wrong with this country on us

run on final thoughts
There’s a line written by Katherine Mansfield, later reused by Yiyun Li as the title for her memoir, that stays with me most days: dear friend, from my life I write to you in your life.
This line stays with me because it’s the answer to a question that I had a hard time answering while I was in school. It’s a question specific to me, and yet I think it applies to anyone who’s ever wanted anything from their lives. Why do we dream what we dream? Why do I write, why do you do what you do?
In her memoir, Yiyun Li says, “What a long way it is from one life to another, yet why write if not for that distance.” I don’t know if everyone explores this distance through writing, but I do think it is why i continue to write and why others might continue to paint, or run, or translate films.
There’s obviously a lot to love about Run On, but something that will probably stay with me is the show’s commitment to navigating this inevitable distance between its characters. There is acknowledgement that this distance exists and that most of the human experience is an attempt to bridge this gap, to understand and be understood — but at the end, we must accept that it’s impossible to close this distance completely.
It is impossible to know someone completely, but what I think love is, as explored by this show, is the willingness to try anyways. Even when failure is inevitable, the attempt is what remains. It’s what helps us bridge the gap within ourselves.
