   It hasn’t been easy to navigate the mess that Legion and Syndicate in general have fallen into ever since the Black Ring. The Legion had struggled on even without its two leaders, but the power had weakened and chaos ruled. It’d taken a while for Earl to recover enough to make his escape with some unexpected aid from the Bureau and return to Legion to help stabilize it. But, Earl pondered as he gazed out one of the stronghold’s windows towards the gathering storm clouds, at least everything was recovering. Legion was regrowing and the chaos had settled for the most part.  

   A knock draws his wary attention towards the door. There wasn’t any meeting scheduled for several hours and no one had been stupid enough to simply march up to the Legion’s front door at its weakest, let alone now. Earl holds up a hand, halting the others as he stands up.  “  I’ll get it. “ 

   He plods towards the door and opens it – but what greets him isn’t the sight he expected to see. Instead of either someone from the other strongholds or an arrogant gangster, it’s the chief of the Minos Bureau of Crisis Control. Not only that, but bleeding and clearly quite badly injured. ( Earl is less surprised by the state of her than the fact she’s here at all. ) A quick glance around however reveals that the two younger sinners that are usually by her side are nowhere to be found. He has questions, but now is not the time to ask them when she looks like she’s about to pass out in the next few seconds. 

   “ Chief. “ Earl acknowledges the other as he steps aside and opens the door wider to grant her access into the safety of the Legion stronghold. " Sit down before your make yourself even worse than you already are." Earl points over towards the nearest couch before giving a few orders to the nearest Legion members who disappear to get the medical staff.

" Try not to pass out. " Perhaps a tall order to ask. Still, Earl raises an eyebrow. " Care to explain what you got yourself into this time? "
