so, fun lore about me "having a crush" (read "being strangely obsessed abt a girl but having 0 desire of doing anything with her") in 2022-23

I deliberately left everything up to her interpretation. sent a photo saying "hey I saw this cute flower and thought of you" and never elaborated on. randomly came up with date ideas and said "we should do that" without ever committing. giving her gifts thinking "now that makes very obvious" when she knew I give gifts to all my best friends anyway. when I lost contact with her it didn't even really hurt, that was one of the signs I wasn't really "in love"

and my mom asked me about this girl recently and I said "oh she's dating someone" and she looked so disappointed
