listening to hoax rn and what struck me about the chorus is that she is implying that this faithless love is the ‘reason’ she needs in order to stay on the cliffside instead of driving off (a parallel to this is me trying imo), yet the song makes it clear that this same thing has ‘frozen her ground,’ turned her into ash, killed the hero in the movie. in taylor’s own words, the song is about three different situations, and perhaps the only thing they have in common is that they all involve people she loved and let into her life (‘you knew the password so I let you in the door’) who ended up betraying her in a way that felt comparable to the greatest pain of her life. the difference is that the other two muses (a business situation and a ‘relationship that was like family’) are now out of her life, but she clings to this love as the one thing that keeps her going even if she has to resign herself to eternal sadness (‘don’t want no other shade of blue but you / no other sadness in the world would do’ —> ‘gray skies, every day, for months, would you still stay?). idk hoax is a lot of a lot.

As much as i love Dungeon Meshi, i do think that given Ryoko Kui's attention to realistic worldbuilding there ought to be a companion series called Dishes Meshi where they spend 2hrs washing and drying and packing away. Alll the goddamnfuck dishes they just made

I've drawn him a couple of times, just really little/in the background. but I should draw him more, I love this guy a lot! I have many, many thoughts about him and the way he parallels Silver...and also I think it is extremely funny that his ghost is stuck in a ring. especially considering where that ring has been for the last 16-ish years.

i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.
i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

it takes 6 guards to sedate and drag two face off the joker the next time two face sees him and for the rest of their lives as soon as harvey sees the joker he goes after him like a rabid dog.

Which is made even more fascinating because we don't get his POV.#But we get so many insights!
