you're not really sure when you met him first actually, but you're both the same type of people where you're just going through the motions

you intrigued him though-- maybe it was the slightly melancholic look in your eyes? or maybe it was the way you purse your lips when you find a particularly hard question on the worksheets in class

either way, he finds himself wanting to get to know you more

funnily enough, he sees you at the convenience store after school as he walks home, and his feet start walking him in your direction

you see him first, and give him a smile and a little wave-- and sunghoon waves back without even thinking about it

that was the entire interaction that day, but sunghoon keeps replaying that part when you smiled and waved at him

why can't he stop thinking about it?

some things definitely changed too-- you start saying hi to him in the hallways at school, you turn to sunghoon to ask questions in class, and you seem to brighten up whenever you see him

you guys start to have conversations, starting with simple small talk, then moving to longer, more random dialogue where you both just say whatever comes to mind

the two of you become so close that you decide to walk to and from school together, since you found out that you only live a couple blocks away

sunghoon likes to place his headphones over your ears to show you new songs every morning, and you like to share earbuds in the afternoon to walk home together

he also starts to slip little notes about his day in your backpack before you go your separate ways in the neighborhood, signing off with a little p.s. to meet him at the park before sunset

it takes him SO long to muster up the courage to confess to you because he keeps thinking you'd say no

but when he finally does, all his fears melt away because you looked at him in such a soft way

he's actually reminded of why he fell for you in the first place

because with you, there’s no judgment from the outside world in the little bubble that you’ve created with him

You walked through the hallways of Hogwarts but your mind was still stuck in that bathroom where you had yesterday tried and more or less succeeded in stealing James Potter’s clothes. He had given you a night to remember and as dreamy as you still were about those activities, you were also very much aware that it was James Potter. He was your crush, but to him you were probably nothing more than a fun night. It was not like he was suddenly going to fall in love with you after one night of heavenly sex.

“Moony, you’re not hearing me. She’s the one.” Remus rolled his eyes as James almost jumped up and down next to him, ever since last night’s events James had been going on about you non stop. Sirius and Peter had weaselled their way away from James and had left Remus to listen to James’ rants alone. Remus rearranged some books on the shelves of the library, because nothing’s more annoying than misplaced books. “I need your advice, moony, I’ve been crushing on her since the start of the year and after last night I need to make a move or I might lose her to the next guy she’s being dared to steal clothes from.” Remus turns away from the shelves to face James. “I honestly don’t think that she would repeat last night's events with anyone beside you.” Feeling reassured and a bit more confident, James’ signature smirk returns. “You think so? You think I’m special to her?” Remus sighs and rolls his eyes again. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure she likes you. I mean no one sleeps with someone you hate.” James’ eyebrows knit together. “You obviously haven’t had heated hate sex.” Remus shakes his head no. “You?” James also shakes no. “No, I’m just thinking it would be hot… not as hot as last night, I mean, (y/n) and me-” “I don’t want to hear it again, James!” Remus interrupts and quickly continues. “Just go talk to her, use all your charm and you will win her over.” 

You were still deep in thoughts, when James leaves the library and spots you. “Hey, hey, (y/n)! We need to talk.” Your eyes fling up to meet his and James is almost horrified to see how filled with panic your eyes are. You quickly scan the hallways for a way out, but fail to find a good excuse. James quickens his pace to keep up with you. “About last night…” James starts, nervously ruffling his hair, but before he has a chance to continue you speak up. “It was a mistake.” James’ face falls, but you don’t notice and continue. “I get it. I’m cool about it. Last night was just a thing and it won't happen again.” James nods as he listens to you, watching your serious expression and sinking his hands into his pockets. You suddenly stop walking and turn to him. You force a tightlipped smile and tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. You hold out a hand to James. “Friends?” You ask with a shaky voice and flustered face. For a second James looks utterly confused, but he quickly realises that your flusteredness might have something to do with how you had screamed his name last night. James tilts his head and chews his lip, eyes focussing on yours. “What if I say no?” Your face instantly heats up. Why can’t he just be casual about it. Why does he have to be so James Potter about it!

wtf is going on with cellbit - by a brazilian law major student

hey besties ever since the day cellbit released that PDF i’ve been keeping up with his shit bc as a law student (only two years to go!!!!) in brazil it’s kinda really interesting to see how it goes, specially since i don’t think we’ve ever had this sort of judicial action taken by an internet celebrity, like, ever. so i’ve decided to kinda explain what’s going on. if anyone has any questions after this i’d be really up to talk about it i love talking about law 🫶 xoxo let’s start. also sorry if anything reads weird english is not my native language okay

for those who don’t know, very recently, a judicial action taken by cellbit has made public. in this action, he’s suing over 200 people for the crime of defamation.

the action was taken to court in january, but it was under what we call “secret of justice”, which means only cellbit himself and twitter’s lawyers had access to it. now that there have been decisions by the judge and everything, the process’s been made public.

basically, cellbit started an action against twitter (NOT THE PEOPLE WHO COMMITTED THE CRIME YET), citing a little over 200 tweets that accused him of crimes like SA, psychological abuse, pedophilia, and others. all of those are real crimes in brazil — and accusing someone of committing crimes (specially as awful crimes as those) without proof is a crime in itself (defamation). he claimed that the tweets were harmful to his honor, mental health, and reputation, besides categorizing as defamation, since there’s no investigation going on against him for all these infractions he’s being accused of.

with that, he asked twitter to delete all the tweets, and to provide him with the personal information of said twitter accounts so he can sue them directly for defamation. he did these requests through something called “tutela cautelar”, which means the judge gets to decide whether or not twitter has to do these things before proof production and proper investigation, since, if twitter doesn’t do those things, the damage to his honor and reputation will be ongoing + he won’t be able to sue the proper people in time.

the judge conceded to his requests, and twitter has already deleted all the tweets. the main discussion going right now is wtf do they do about the international accounts — does our law apply to them? what’s gonna happen? we don’t know yet. that’s being discussed in court for the moment and, considering brazilian courts, it might take quite a while.

so, yeah, all those people aren’t being sued YET. but they will, probably somewhat soon.

it’s also important to mention that this lawsuit is from january and was only now released to the public. there’s probably a lot more coming after the whole fiasco that led him to releasing his statement, including a lawsuit against his ex herself.

now, other topics — could he sue other twitter accounts for cyber bullying or death threats? probably, but my personal opinion is that suing for defamation and focusing on accounts that were accusing him of having committed crimes was a much better move because it’s a much stronger case.

there’s very little room for discussion when a person has outright said “cellbit committed this crime”. death threats have more room for discussion: “oh, but they’re hundreds of miles away, it wasn’t a serious threat”, “they didn’t mean it”, “it was a joke”. same thing goes for cyberbullying: it can get too subjective.

defamation isn’t subjective. you accuse someone of a crime they didn’t commit? boom, defamation, at least according to our laws. so, to me, personally, it makes a LOT of sense for his lawyers to focus on that: he’s a LOT more likely to win than if he was suing for cyberbullying, threatening, insult, or any of that. also, he’s a lot more likely to win FASTER.

when he gets to sue the actual people who committed the crime, that is. for now, he’s only requested twitter to give him the necessary information to get to these people, which i think they’ll very likely be obligated to do. there are digital data protection laws in brazil, but a crime is a crime. digital data protection isn’t gonna protect you from the court.

another thing: LGPD (brazil’s general law of personal data protection) forces all social media companies to keep records of all the content posted by their users for AT LEAST six months. many companies keep it for way longer. that’s a law created for judicial purposes, in case something published to twitter, facebook, or instagram needs to be analysed by a court. that’s why even tho twitter has deleted the tweets, they still have them, and why it doesn’t matter if the people responsible are deleting the tweets, the accounts, the fucking app itself. the records are still there, and they will be used judicially.

i think that’s the overall for the situation, but i’m willing to answer any questions and to discuss it if anyone wants to! i’m a big law enjoyer. also personally i think cellbit is so fucking right for this like YEAH people don’t get to commit fucking crimes on twitter and get away with it. really interested in how this is gonna go law-wise, but in general also really glad to see someone take action like this.

• Kickin feels like he doesn't deserve such a fun, cool, and pretty girl like Hoppy. He think she deserves so much better than him

• He'll sometimes have nightmares about Hoppy leaving him for a different person

• MINI STORYTIME!! (with a sweet ending)

One time at a sleepover, Kickin was having a horrible nightmare about Hoppy leaving him for someone else and when he confronted her about it, she just flat out told him "I never loved you" and "I just felt sorry for you". He couldn't believe what he was hearing. what he was seeing. It felt like his heart was ripped out of his chest and stomped on right in front of him. he was just hoping this was just one bad dream. he was about to cry. he wanted to scream. he just wanted to wake up. then suddenly..

Kickin: *GASP*

He finally woke up from that dreaded nightmare... His heart was beating faster than Hoppy after drinking 10 energy drinks. He looked at the clock, It said 2:50 am.. then he looked around the dark room to see his friends peacefully sleeping then he looked at Hoppy who peacefully sleeping her worries away. He wanted to wake her up and cry to her but he would feel like such a jerk if he did so, he tried going back to sleep... but he couldn't no matter how hard he tried.. he just couldn't. So he just laid there in the dark, trying not to cry, and just thinking to himself "what just happened?" He couldn't help it anymore. He just started quietly crying to himself. Then suddenly he heard Hoppy waking up

Hoppy: *yawns* Kickin? What are you doing up so early? It almost 3:00 in the morni-*soft gasp*

She looked at Kickin, who's clearly been crying for almost 5 minutes now

Hoppy: Kicks, are you okay? Why are you crying buddy?

Kickin: Oh! Hey Hops.. sorry if I woke ya up...

Hoppy: No, you didn't but that doesn't matter. What matters is why are you cryin-

Kickin: You love me right?

Hoppy: W-What?

Kickin: You don't feel sorry for me and you're not going to leave me for someone else right?

Hoppy: Where are you getting all of this?

Kickin: I had a nightmare about you leaving me for someone else..

Hoppy: Oh babe.. *hugs him* don't let some silly nightmare get to you.. I love you

She said as she was fixing his hair

Kickin: Really? You do?

Hoppy: I really do, I love you to the Moon and back *mwah*

They lay down, cuddled, and embrace each other's warmth until they fell asleep...but little bit they know Bobby was awake the entire time and silently squealing and was secretly recording the entire conversation while silently giggling to herself

USJ Arc

The stuff with the reporters goes the same. But I like to imagine that instead of just shooting them away, Aizawa loses his temper with them a little because the press agitates him. He also isn't fond of them recording his students because, y'know, I'm trying to make him somewhat decent in this.

I'm actually gagging at Aizawa telling Bakugou to stop wasting his talent because wtf I don't remember that

Aizawa scolds Bakugou for not being mindful of his quirk and Izuku for injuring himself, similarly to canon. He also berates Mineta for abandoning his teammate and being lazy. He commends Momo, Todoroki, and (to her surprise) Uraraka for their well-earned victories. Though, he does tell Uraraka that her combat needs work.

Aizawa allows 1A to vote for their class representatives like in canon. But unlike canon, Izuku votes for Yaoyorozu, which gives Yaoyorozu three votes and Izuku two. He thought about voting for himself like everyone else, but decided against it because he doesn't picture himself as a ready to be a leader. He remembers Yaoyorozu detailed plan and thinks she would be a better fit. But he's surprised that he did get two other votes (from Uraraka and Iida respectively).

The rest of the episode/chapter goes the same. Iida successfully deescalates his panicking peers and Izuku acknowledges that he's better to help lead their class. So Yaoyorozu remains 1A's representative while Iida becomes the vice representative.

(One thing I find interesting about Izuku's actions in canon is that he voted for himself, but didn't think he would win and is nervous when he does. He doubts himself as a leader, which isn't wrong. Izuku tends to let a lot of things pass him by. But we see in the USJ- and the provisional licensing exam- that he has no issues taking charge. I think this is for two reasons: a) he's way more likely to act if someone's in danger or needs help and b) he waits for someone to look to him to lead. Tsu and Mineta needed him to tell them what to do, so he easily steps up. It's basically leading his peers through a dangerous situation versus controlling/directing a group.)

The USJ trip doesn't undergo any major changes, I would say. Most things are still the same.

Tsu watches how Izuku easily takes charge, plans, and gets Mineta to start whining and wonders why he gave up being vice rep, only for him to start muttering which creeps her out. She remarks that he has no issues navigating people through danger, but notes that his social skills need work. Izuku stumbles a bit, but internally acknowledges that she's not wrong.

With Bakugou and Kirishima, instead of blindly admiring him, Kirishima actually clashes a bit with Bakugou. Because he feels as though their actions were what gave Kurogiri the opportunity to scatter them before Thirteen could suck him in. Bakugou refusing the acknowledge that leaves a bad taste in his mouth. He tells Bakugou that he likes his strength and grit, but that his attitude is immature and "unmanly." Bakugou snaps at him that he doesn't care what he thinks goes after Kurogiri since he's where the villains are coming from. Kirishima still follows after him partly because he thinks Bakugou is right to attack the warp villain and partly because he thinks they should stick together.

I don't feel the need to change everything else. EXCEPT regarding Tomura when he goes on the spiel that All Might calls out as bullshit, he doesn't confirm that it is, nor does he deny it.

I think that Tomura DOES actually believe that to some degree, because those are things that AFO has told him. I think he's just repeating what he's heard, which is justification for the things AFO has done/endorsed. However, I do think that All Might was right calling him out as craving violence. Tomura at this point is an overzealous child. He doesn't have a goal other than kill and destroy hero society.

But- at least for this story- he doesn't know why hero society is corrupt. I wonder if that will change soon.

Notes:

I struggled so hard with this arc, which is why there aren't major changes to it. But there also aren't too many issues with it, in my opinion

If you can't tell, I'm still deciding whether or not I want to redeem Bakugou. But I still think either way that Kirishima should be put-off by his rotten attitude, even if he does admire his tenacity

I never noticed until I reread, but Izuku really did inspire Mineta in this arc. I've noticed Mineta's early characterization wasn't nearly as abysmal as he was in the middle of the series. Horikoshi even made a note about not overdoing it with his pervyness (he failed)

Izuku is a very awkward bean, so I have no qualms about not making him rep or vice rep. I think it's a testament to his character that he can take charge during a threat but totally clams up in front of people

I love Iida, but let's be real Momo was robbed of her presidency. I think Iida's a great rep in canon, but this was the start of Momo getting screwed

I was gonna change Momo, Kaminari, and Jiro's fight, but I decided against it because I don't want to turn Momo into a Mary Sue. Her freezing and being unable to think on her feet is something I really wanna get into

tonight, my (and hopeful your) favorite boys in white and red, won the second game in our back to back games with the Wild! making us 2/2 in our games against them this season!

we had a great FIVE goals tonight compared to mini’s measly three! i’m incredibly proud of all 4 of our goals scorers, AND the magical puck that flew into the net on its own about 15 minutes into the first! that was insane, am i right?!

and even more exciting, we only had TWO penalties tonight! 🥹 they’re finally listening to me!

my lil rabid chihuahua almost got into a fight tonight, which would’ve solidified his rabid status! but alas, he did not, and Timo the Train stepped in to defend him— which both spoiled my fun and saved me from heart failure; i’m not sure whether to be mad or grateful, so i’ve decided to be both! never limit your emotions, kids! be dramatic! i promise, it’s fun!

babygirl DID, however, draw a penalty on one of his former bffl’s, moldy boldy, for interference! which took us to the power play and secured dougie’s fantastic goal tonight— which was assisted by none other than the man who snores in my ear every night! giving him his 20TH POINT OF THE SEASON!! I’M SO PROUD OF YOU, MY LOVE! I’M GONNA KISS YOUR FACE!

Reading SVSSS: Bonus- Chapter 28

This was such a solid few days I'm not going to lie; dnd, archery, more gaming- it was so lovely.

I am sore as fuck though; my shoulders- big oof. I did not know some of those muscles existed. I will 100000000% do it again though! Archery was so fun!

Okay to unwind, I am back on my chamomile tea today.

The more I hear about PIDM the more I hate it LOL: of course, Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky hadn't written that arc for cute fluff, but rather because the de-aged Luo Binghe had been able to openly strut into all sort of locations an adult man couldn't enter. (Exactly what those locations were, one can imagine for oneself.)And such a little kid was way better at lowering young women's guards, so they could proceed to have intimate contact, and then, right when they least expect it- he'd win them over in a single blow! pp285-286. I hate everything about this.

I love that SQQ is just out here squishing his little cheeks. p287. 10/10 would be me.

yeah I can see how that would be awkward. SQQ getting an academy job and everyone thinking his de-aged lover is actually his son. oof. p289

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh! My heart! ofc mxtx writes this funny/goofy chapter with a heartwarming ending. These two over here talking about their vulnerabilities in their relationship and talking all cute. p302

Did it get a little weird at the end?

Yeah it really did with baby Binghe trying to seduce SQQ for half a second (wtf) but in MXTX fashion it really just towed the line of being weird without being weird. Gotta love and respect it LOL.

Overall good little interlude bonus chapter!
