Finding out that you accidentally got knocked up by your college sweetheart was definitely a shock. And it didn't end there because now you are faced with having to make a decision that has the potential to change your life forever.

You sleep a night over it and spend the next day going on a long walk with Sukuna, hoping the fresh air will help you clear your mind. It's when you sit down on a park bench and lean against Sukuna's biceps when you ask softly,

"So what are we going to do, Kuna?"

And Sukuna wraps his arm around you and pulls you against his side,

Sukuna is with you throughout the whole journey. He drives you to your doctor and insists on going up to the waiting room with you because he knows how nervous you are. He sits next to you, holds your hand, caresses your fingers soothingly, and grins reassuringly at you. He makes a flirty comment and winks at you when your name gets called, trying his best to make you laugh and feel less nervous.

But you know that he is nervous too. When you get back twenty minutes later, you can see that Sukuna is still on the same page of the book he started to read when you left. His mind obviously occupied with other things, just as affected by the situation as you are.

It makes you reach out and hug him tightly, comforting him just like he comforts you, even though he would never admit openly that this makes him anxious just as much as you.

"My doctor already made an appointment at the clinic for me to have another examination and to sign all the documents and stuff. But it's when you have training, so you really don't have to come with me."

But Sukuna rolls his eyes and shakes his head,

"What are you saying? Stop it, baby. Of course, I am coming with you. If I can put my dick in you, I can also accompany you to your appointment. The next four days feel weird. You go to the examination at the clinic. You listen to the doctor explaining the procedure to you. It makes your chest feel warm, and you can't help but mouth "I love you" in his direction, smiling when you see him say the words too.

Your surgery goes by without any complications, and the moment you wake up, a nurse is already by your side, bringing you tea and something to eat, and some painkillers. But you are impatient, wanting nothing more than to leave and be in Sukuna's comforting embrace, feel the warmth of his body and inhale his scent and hear his velvety low voice murmuring sweet nothings in your ear.

You're glad when you are finally allowed to get up and get dressed again, promising the nurse that you have someone who will stay with you for the next 24 hours.

When you leave the changing room, you see Sukuna leaning against the wall right next to the reception. His tattooed face is a bit pale, and he is playing nervously with his tongue piercing once again.

"How are you, princess?"

"I'm good. Just a bit wobbly on my feet. And I need something to eat. I'm starving!"

And Sukuna laughs softly, sounding so relieved,

"Well, how lucky you are that your boyfriend spent the last few hours in the kitchen to distract himself and prepare your favorite dishes for you."

And suddenly, your sight becomes blurry as tears well up in your eyes and run down your cheeks without you even knowing why you suddenly start crying now that it's over when, in the days leading up to the abortion, you didn't shed a single tear!

But maybe all the stress and anxiety of the last few days finally caught up with you. The contradictory emotions of feeling a bit wistful about letting go of that fantasy of Sukuna and you having your own little family versus the relief you feel that it's over and that you can live your life the way you planned.

But you suspect that, most of all, it is the overwhelming love you feel for Sukuna right at that moment. You are so touched by how caring he is. How mature he was in this situation. His voice sounds tender when he says the words, and you snuggle closer to him, lifting your head to look at his beautiful tattooed face. And Sukuna leans down a bit, enough so he can brush his lips over yours.

That's how you end up standing in the middle of the hospital hallway, hugging your boyfriend and kissing him slowly as if the two of you are the only people in this world.

But you make it to the parking lot a few minutes later, walking there with the help of Sukuna's strong arm wrapped around you.

He helps you out of the car again, once you have reached your apartment, picks you up princess-style and carries you up the stairs. He sits you down on the couch, wraps you in a warm blanket and glares at you when you try to get up.

He brings you the food and plops down next to you, checking if you really eat something, like some super stern nurse, and you can't help but feel warm, knowing that your bad boy is so amazingly sweet and caring when it comes to you.

The moment your face twists in pain, Sukuna is on his knees in front of you, fear in his maroon eyes, his large hands on your thighs, looking up at you with worry written all over his tattooed face.

"What's wrong?"

You grit your teeth and smile shakily at him, reaching out to cup his cheek and caress it tenderly, touched by how worried he is for you.

"Don't joke about stuff like that, princess. I am just taking my job as your personal nurse seriously."

And he really does. For the next few days, Sukuna barely leaves your side. And even a week later, he is still acting differently around you, and you begin to realize that this is probably how he will always be now. Even more protective. Even more caring.

The unplanned pregnancy and the abortion didn't drive a wedge between the two of you. Instead, it made the two of you grow even closer. You shared a life-altering experience. The story wouldn't leave my mind anymore, and after I got several comments and asks where people asked about a possible Part 2, I wanted to continue the story about College sweetheart Sukuna knocking us up and show how Reader and Sukuna deal with both options, so I decided to write two different versions.

When you pull into the driveway, Kita is hanging the laundry. He takes his time, pulling sheets from a wicker basket and clothespinning them to the wire. In the other basket, swaddled tight, is your baby girl. She sleeps so well for a newborn- you're grateful for that.

"You're home early," Kita says as you get out of the car, voice soft so as to not wake his daughter. You hop out of the car and join him, letting your husband kiss your cheek.

"Well," You try to keep your tone level. "They told me I can't get an IUD today."

The corners of his mouth twitch up. "Oh, really?"

He kisses you again, this time on the lips, then does it again and again. You almost fall for his affections and forget that you're annoyed with him.

"Yeah." You let out a sigh. "Turns out my womb is already occupied."

Kita erupts into a smile, all pink cheeks and straight teeth and laughter. His impatient hands urge you closer, pulling you by the hips into him, urging for another, deeper kiss- but you deny him with a hand to the chest.

"At least pretend you aren't happy, Shinsuke."

"How could I be anything but?" He doesn't take the joy from his voice. "The love of my life is giving me a second beautiful child. How far along?"

Kita hadn't been thrilled at the idea of you getting the implant. He had wanted your second child to be close in age to your first, while you had wanted a five year gap. An IUD seemed like the smartest choice for you, but it turns out your husband is faster than you thought.

"8 weeks." You playfully punch his arm, but he just laughs. "Our daughter's only 4 months! How am I eight weeks?"

What is the goal of testosterone therapy?

Testosterone has two main jobs: It causes masculinizing changes to occur throughout the body, and it suppresses the production of estrogen. Some of the changes caused by testosterone are permanent (they would remain if testosterone was stopped), and other changes are reversible.

How is testosterone administered?

Testosterone is available as injections, cream, or gel. Injections are administered either every two weeks intramuscularly (into the muscle) or every week subcutaneously (under the skin). Nursing staff provides injection training here at clinic. Creams and gels are absorbed through the skin and applied daily.

What are the irreversible effects of testosterone?

Testosterone causes voice deepening, clitoral growth, body/facial hair growth, and sometimes male-pattern balding (also influenced by age and genetics). Testosterone may irreversibly affect fertility. Desires for fertility should be considered prior to starting hormones, and for those seeking fertility preservation (or education about fertility preservation), referrals can be made to Lurie’s fertility preservation team.

What are some of the reversible effects of testosterone?

Testosterone causes increased muscle tone, fat redistribution (hips to stomach area), skin oiliness and acne. Mood changes (often irritability, having a “shorter fuse”) and heightened sex drive may occur. Menstrual cycles will change and eventually stop after some time. There may be genital changes caused by low estrogen levels.

What are some of the known side effects and risks of testosterone?

Testosterone may increase your metabolic risk profile — that is, the risk for conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol or blood pressure. The risk for heart disease is higher for people who smoke cigarettes, are overweight or have a family history of heart disease.

Testosterone causes hematocrit, the proportion of red blood cells in a volume of blood, to increase. This blood thickening, at high levels, can be life-threatening, causing stroke or a heart attack.

Testosterone can also cause increased appetite, headaches, and acne.

How do we monitor for safety?

Labs (bloodwork) are collected prior to starting hormones and every three months for the first year of treatment. In the second year, labs are checked every six months. Tests that are monitored include cholesterol, liver tests, hematocrit, and hormone levels. These labs can be drawn at Lurie’s or a local facility.

How quickly will changes develop?

Remember, it’s normal to want to see changes occur rapidly, but (just like in puberty) these changes take time! Most changes start to begin around 3-6 months after starting testosterone and take years to fully develop.

Will I look like my friend _____?

Remember, everyone experiences puberty differently. Factors other than testosterone (such as genes!) affect appearance. It’s impossible to predict exactly what changes will develop.

It’s important to take the prescribed dose of testosterone. Taking more increases health risks.

I have a weird relationship with the age-related infertility discussions. Does aging affect fertility? Absolutely. But are you doomed to never or not likely get pregnant if you "wait too long"...? That's where the conversation gets complicated, but no one seems to understand why it's complicated, let alone admit that it's not ever simple.

You see, it can take 7 or more years for a woman with endo, PCOS, etc to get diagnosed and properly treated for it. This means that her teen and young adult years are spent festering her undiagnosed complications until she reaches her 30s or so, and not only has perimenopuase to worry about, but her untreated disease(s) also. These compounding factors, obviously, makes it hard to get and stay pregnant.

And that doesn't even get into how terrible treatment is! Even when endo/PCOS/etc ARE diagnosed early on, they are --- surprise! --- given HORMONAL BIRTH CONTROL to "treat" it. At best, you get mild BC side effects while the condition never gets better, and you still struggle later on. At worst, you have someone with: severe nutritional deficiencies, wrecked gut and mental health, and other health risks that make pregnancy difficult to achieve down the road (or increase maternal health risks even if she does get pregnant).

Is age a factor? Yes. But assuming the woman is healthy and properly taken care of, it's a factor that shouldn't raise alarms. It may take longer for her to get pregnant, but a woman in her 30s and even 40s can achieve a full term pregnancy with the right support and knowledge. After all, women in the past traditionally had their last child in their EARLY FORTIES.

The issue is that everyone looks at age and nothing else. They don't question why it takes so long for female reproductive diseases to get treated and addressed. They don't question why fertility awareness is continually suppressed by the medical establishment. They don't question why women struggle to be taken seriously by their care provider.

I guess for them, it's easier to gaslight and shame women than to address the system that allows infertility to fester to begin with.

Gallbladder Issues: Potential association with gallstones and pancreatitis, but more research is needed for conclusive evidence.

On regaining fertility after estrogen:

After an average of three years on estrogen, ony 40% of trans women will still be fertile. After discontinuation of hormones, 66% will get their fertility back (with the span of the study), and most of the people observed had impaired semen quality after stopping. The contributing factor may be the age when hormones were started, with older people being more protected.

But hey, I'm just an alarmist.

"Ugh JoJo! Can you hand me a burp rag?" (Name) cringed at the feeling of his pup's vomit running down his back.

(Name) looked into Holy's eyes, "you're a mess" (Name) sighs. Looking at the door and not hearing a sound, "JOSEPH".

The sound of pots and pans dropping and the running up the stairs was all the confirmation (Name) needed.

"Yes dear?" Sweat dropped from Joseph's face.

(Name) glared at Joseph, "can you take her so I can shower please?".

"Can I join?"

"No".

Joseph pouted, but taking Holy into his arms. "Do you need help".

(Name) grumbled, "I needed help two minutes ago". (Name) was utterly exhausted, Holy was only two weeks old and he felt himself age every night with her crying, it doesn't help that Jospeh is a heavy sleeper.

Joseph watched his mate excuse himself into the bathroom, looking down at his small pup Joseph felt a twinge of cuteness aggression, "GAH! You look so much like you're auntie!! Yes you do!! My precious Holy!!".

As he scented Holy, giving her the most love and care, (Name) was stepping out of the bathroom, wincing at the over use of Joseph's scent. "Hon, you're killing me over here".

Joseph looked up, "Grandmother told me that pups need to be scented 24/7! It demonstrates love and affection! That's why my father was so good at showing affection to Lisa Lisa!".

(Name) sighed but smiled fondly at the two bonding. He was lucky to have a mate who was willing to bond with their own pup so much.

"You're changing her next nappy".

"Shit!"

"Language!"

Next one is just Jotaro x Reader, doesn't have to connect to the last one.

"How long will you be gone for?"

Jotaro sighed, "I don't know. But if you can stay here and comfort mom and grandpa".

(Name) rubbed Jolyne's back, "we are supposed to be scenting her for 8 hours on and off to bond with her Jotaro". The two have struggled with fertility over the span of their relationship, well (Name) did, Jotaro was there in need for support him, but since they've had Jolyne, Jotaro kept his distanced.

Jotaro hummed, "this is a family emergency, I'm sure she'll be fine".

(Name) bite his lip, Jolyne wasn't his, biologically, but he loved her like the pup he could never have. "What if-".

"No more what if's, just do" jotaro sighed kissing the top of (Name)'s forehead.

"I'll be back, I promise. I'm just going to find this mysterious pup that old man sired".

(Name) watched Jotaro leave, again. The two have been having.... problems... mostly communication on both ends, well, Jotaro has never been the best to communicate with.

A small whine came from Jolyne as the small pup couldn't sense her sire's presence. "Hush little one". (Name) rocked Jolyne, taking her up the stairs into his nest, resting with her.

"I won't abandon you". (Name) cried.

A few weeks went by, (Name) has only gotten one phone call from Jotaro, asking him to drop off Jospeh at the airport.

"GiGi, this way please" (Name) strapped Jolyne to his chest while grabbing the old man's luggage.

'It feels like I'm taking care of two children'

"Where are we going again?".

"Your grandson needs your help in Japan, sir. Thank goodness the Speed Wagon foundation is helping us again".

As they arrive to the private jet, a worker pulled (Name) aside holding out a phone. "It's for you sir".

Jolyne whined at the sound of the plane's engine running, (Name) tried to hush the pup down, "Hello?".

"(Name).."

"Jotaro! It's been weeks-"

"I know- am- today-". The phone call kept breaking up, the loud engine and Joyne's cries was too much.

Dare I ask, what's omegaverse?

oh my god i feel like my kid just came home from school and asked me what sex was.

i ain't a "give you a book and figure it out yourself" kinda mom, so we're doin this. here we go.

omegaverse is a kind of slash fic that imagines a hierarchy similar to what wolves have in which you have the dominant alphas, the neutral betas, and the submissive omegas. the universe imagines that these are biological genders in addition to male and female--known as secondary gender--and thus create a different set of social norms/hierarchy. these additional genders are referred to as "maturation," and become evident ("presentation") around the age of thirteen after having already presented as their primary gender (male or female).

omegaverse is formerly known as a/b/o, which we stopped using because it's too similar to a slur for aboriginal australians, but i thought it was important to note 'cause you'll see it around sometimes.

let me clarify before i continue that they're not werewolves. however, historically, the omegaverse originates from a Supernatural fic in which werewolf dynamics were combined with mpreg. however (and confusing that a bit), in the omegaverse there are packs as family (though this depends on the fic). and on the mpreg note, most omegaverse fic is m/m.

let's get into it with more definitions!

alphas - usually larger physically, aggressive demeanor. dominant. have ruts, in which they are periodically affected by the urge to breed--sometimes this can happen as a response to omegas having being in heat (aka estrus)--more on that later. ruts last (in my experience) 3-7 days, and the alpha cannot control or ignore their rut; the rut additionally makes them even more aggressive than usual. alphas can furthermore command and basically everyone follows the command--though nonverbal commands can sometimes be resisted (more on how they might non-verbally command later). we also uhh... gotta talk about alpha dicks later (see: knotting).

betas - literally just normal fucking people. this is also most people.

omegas - smaller physically, gentle demeanor. submissive and breedable. have heats, in which there is a crazy high chance of pregnancy, and all they want is to be bred and they act kinda stupid (literally like they can't cook or clean or NOTHING). the decisions an omega in heat makes are entirely out of desperation and not to be acted on. at the beginning of a heat, the vaginal walls ache and their body temperature goes up. but first? pre-heat! also about a week long, an omega prepares a nest where they'll feel safe; usually blankets, things that smell like loved ones, clothes, food and water. during pre-heat, omegas are totally cognizant, and may invite an alpha or beta to share their nest for their heat. after a heat, an omega is usually pretty wiped and will eat a lot--this shit expends mad energy.

gamma - pretty rare, but im explaining it anyway because they have neo pronouns??? and it sometimes isn't explained that someone is a gamma it's just assumed from the fact that the author is using ze/zer/zim. but this is a third primary gender in which someone will either mature into a female alpha or a male omega, so since the gender is unknown, they are referred to with ze/zim pronouns before their maturation. they're born with both sets of genitalia and a uterus; so they're infertile if they later present as an alpha, and fertile if they present as an omega.

there are also enigmas (literally once every generation; demeanor and physicality just alphas on steroids). deltas are literally just alphas who can't command. i haven't often encountered gammas, enigmas, or deltas in fics personally.

two of the defining features of the omegaverse are scent glands and knotting.

scent glands - residing in the base of the neck and wrists, the scent glands... well, they smell. omegas smell good, alphas are usually described as having an oppressive smell, betas also smell but it's incredibly subdued. the smell of an alpha is always more evident than others. the smell can attract a mate; closer to an omega's heat, their scent becomes gradually more potent. an alpha's smell can tell others that they're in a rut. alphas can issue a non-verbal command that can be ignored (by some people) via their scent glands.

knotting - alpha dicks have this thing very astutely called the "bulbus glandis" (creative, right), referred to as the knot. it's uhh, it's a knot on the base of their dick. basically, it inflates during sex and locks into the vaginal walls and traps the cum inside for max chance of pregnancy. this by itself is fine, but the best part is that the alpha and whoever get stuck together for a period of time. the period of time varies from fic to fic, but i've seen everywhere from 15 minutes to three hours. tbh it's fucking great, it can be really funny and unhelpful or horrible i hate you get out of me or really sweet depending on the ship dynamic. the knot "deflating" is often referred to as "the knot going down."

here's a purposely shitty example to give you an idea of what this looks like:

"i'm the omega and i'm in heat ahh i'm so horny!" "i'm the alpha and i'm in an uncontrollable rut and this omega smells so good! i'm gonna get this omega pregnant! graaaah! [aggro alpha noises]" [probably pretty kinky sex, 'cause there's d/s dynamics here, but varies from fic to fic] "the alpha came inside me and we have to wait for the knot to go down, aww nuts!" [PREGNANT]

lilies: royalty, honor, nobility, purity, innocence, knowledge, respect, wisdom, maturity, happiness, protection, pregnancy, aging, peace, slow down, etc.

lilies + woman = queen, maid of honor, a nun, baby girl, a virgin, woman teacher/professor, grandmother, mother, motherhood, etc.

sun: new beginning, life, warmth, heat, success, glory, victory, happiness, glory, desire, courage, hope, recognition, fame, power, reputation, ego, pride, high self-esteem, charisma, alluring personality, summer, beaches, positivity, optimism, masculine, etc.
