A city girl at heart, born and raised but has her new found home is in the backwoods with Country!Simon. Strong willed, when you’ve made up your mind, that’s it. Love testing the boundaries, Simon doesn’t want to, why can’t you? A bit spoiled, and a bit of a hot head, will huff and puff and stomp your foot and end up getting dragged by your arm by Simon to the big house. You always end up apologizing to whoever you snapped at with glossy eyes and a stinging bottom that Simon will put ointment on later. A bit of a cry baby, will cry if things don’t go as you planned because you have high hopes. When you have your spoiled fits, and Simon is more than irritated with you, he’ll lock his jaw and say, “lil girl, you better hold it.” And you do. Sucking in your tears and whines the best you can. You always calm down by the time you get home, able to properly get your words out.

You love to pick up different hobbies, you can do a bit of everything if you put your mind to it. Friday nights are spent line dancing with your cousins and old classmates, you like to get shit faced drunk but always make it back home. Delivering flowers or baked goods to the old men and women who have houses at the crossroads, they love your young spirit. Not eager to get pregnant but hopeful nonetheless. You love the idea of having a family with Simon but you’re (rightfully) a bit scared. Whatever it is, you’re sure God or whatever higher power will protect you. Why you call Simon, ‘Mr. Riley’ ? Well if fell off your tongue and it simply stuck, you only call him Simon when you’re being absolutely serious.

You use your degree by keeping up with the books, you’re good at keeping track of what needs to be bought, what needs to be sold and keeping the farm on budget and he pays you properly for it. He’s even made your own little desk space right next to his. When you’re not doing that, you’re gardening, gardening and doing more gardening’. You weren’t too good at first but after Simon gave you a few tips (after you refused for too long) your garden flourishes. Other than that, you’re off doing— well god knows. Some days you’re out with the cows at the next farm over, playing jazz and feeding apples, maybe sitting and eating lunch before the horse ride back. Fridays and Saturdays you’re at the morning market, bright eyes and bushy tailed, selling your own baked goods and you sometimes sell out. Sometimes your by the creek, going for a swim before dinner or (most annoying to Simon) breaking in horses. You’re a natural at it, but always seem to choose the most wild that will send you flying. Always full of scrapes and bruises from it cause you’re so small and Simon just cannot stand it. Proud to be with such a good man like him even though the people around you aren’t. You want to be a genuine sothern bell by your own rules, prove everyone that your love to Simon will stand the test of time.
