Paxton was on Steve Bannons show in 2022 BRAGGING, LAUGHING, with Bannon on how he had taken the votes of 2 MILLION Texas voters away from them right before the 2020 election saying “Texas could have been one of those Biden states”. Hidden History: The Southbound Path to Freedom

When we think of the history of slavery in Texas, Juneteenth in Galveston often comes to mind. However, historians Samuel Collins Ill and Dr. Juan Govea reveal a deeper story that predates Juneteenth by decades. Long before the Emancipation Proclamation, Hispanic abolitionists played a crucial role in helping enslaved people escape to Mexico.

In Texas, the Underground Railroad didn't just lead north; it also ran south. Mexico, having outlawed slavery, welcomed fugitive slaves, offering them freedom and citizenship.

This lesser-known chapter of history shows that enslaved people were not just waiting to be rescued. Many saved for years to pay for their escape to Mexico, demonstrating immense resilience and determination.

Marriages between Mexican men and enslaved African women further illustrate the deep bonds and solidarity in this fight for freedom.

Some who found freedom in Mexico went on to build successful lives. For example, a former slave of Sam Houston became a barber in Matamoros, while another rose to the rank of officer in the Mexican army.

These stories challenge us to broaden our understanding of the Underground Railroad and recognize the diverse efforts that contributed to the fight against slavery. Let's honor the courage and solidarity of those who took the southbound path to freedom, and those who assisted them.

Master Sergeant (then Staff Sergeant) Roy P. BENAVIDEZ United States Army, distinguished himself by a series of daring and extremely valorous actions on 2 May 1968 while assigned to Detachment B56, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), 1st Special Forces, Republic of Vietnam.

On the morning of 2 May 1968, a 12-man Special Forces Reconnaissance Team was inserted by helicopters of the 240th Assault Helicopter Company in a dense jungle area west of Loc Ninh, Vietnam to gather intelligence information about confirmed large-scale enemy activity. This area was controlled and routinely patrolled by the North Vietnamese Army. After a short period of time on the ground, the team met heavy enemy resistance, and requested emergency extraction. Three helicopters attempted extraction, but were unable to land due to intense enemy small arms and anti-aircraft fire.

Sergeant BENAVIDEZ was at the Forward Operating Base in Loc Ninh monitoring the operation by radio when these helicopters, of the 240th Assault Helicopter Company, returned to off-load wounded crew members and to assess aircraft damage. Sergeant BENAVIDEZ voluntarily boarded a returning aircraft to assist in another extraction attempt. Realizing that all the team members were either dead or wounded and unable to move to the pickup zone, he directed the aircraft to a nearby clearing where he jumped from the hovering helicopter, and ran approximately 75 meters under withering small arms fire to the crippled team.

Prior to reaching the team’s position he was wounded in his right leg, face, and head. Despite these painful injuries, he took charge, repositioning the team members and directing their fire to facilitate the landing of an extraction aircraft, and the loading of wounded and dead team members. He then threw smoke canisters to direct the aircraft to the team’s position. Despite his severe wounds and under intense enemy fire, he carried and dragged half of the wounded team members to the awaiting aircraft. He then provided protective fire by running alongside the aircraft as it moved to pick up the remaining team members. As the enemy’s fire intensified, he hurried to recover the body and classified documents on the dead team leader.

When he reached the leader’s body, Sergeant BENAVIDEZ was severely wounded by small arms fire in the abdomen and grenade fragments in his back. At nearly the same moment, the aircraft pilot was mortally wounded, and his helicopter crashed. Although in extremely critical condition due to his multiple wounds, Sergeant BENAVIDEZ secured the classified documents and made his way back to the wreckage, where he aided the wounded out of the overturned aircraft, and gathered the stunned survivors into a defensive perimeter. Under increasing enemy automatic weapons and grenade fire, he moved around the perimeter distributing water and ammunition to his weary men, reinstilling in them a will to live and fight. Facing a buildup of enemy opposition with a beleaguered team, Sergeant BENAVIDEZ mustered his strength, began calling in tactical air strikes and directed the fire from supporting gunships to suppress the enemy’s fire and so permit another extraction attempt.

He was wounded again in his thigh by small arms fire while administering first aid to a wounded team member just before another extraction helicopter was able to land. His indomitable spirit kept him going as he began to ferry his comrades to the craft. On his second trip with the wounded, he was clubbed from behind by an enemy soldier. In the ensuing hand-to-hand combat, he sustained additional wounds to his head and arms before killing his adversary.[5][note 1] He then continued under devastating fire to carry the wounded to the helicopter. Upon reaching the aircraft, he spotted and killed two enemy soldiers who were rushing the craft from an angle that prevented the aircraft door gunner from firing upon them. With little strength remaining, he made one last trip to the perimeter to ensure that all classified material had been collected or destroyed, and to bring in the remaining wounded.

Only then, in extremely serious condition from numerous wounds and loss of blood, did he allow himself to be pulled into the extraction aircraft. Sergeant BENAVIDEZ’ gallant choice to join voluntarily his comrades who were in critical straits, to expose himself constantly to withering enemy fire, and his refusal to be stopped despite numerous severe wounds, saved the lives of at least eight men. His fearless personal leadership, tenacious devotion to duty, and extremely valorous actions in the face of overwhelming odds were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service, and reflect the utmost credit on him and the United States Army.

Margo Madison was not impulsive by nature. She worked the problem, evaluated potential solutions, calculated the most suitable outcome. As Sergei Nikulov walked out of her office, out of her life, for what could be the very last time, the last thing Margo was thinking about was solutions, outcomes. She simply allowed herself a moment to grieve. Let tears overwhelm her; let herself scream and cry into a seat cushion to conceal that her heart had just split open, unable to be mended or repaired. She had tried not to entertain thoughts of a future with Sergei after his defection. A future where Aleida stopped questioning the engine designs and the NASA team found water on Mars and she and Sergei could get a drink in a hotel room without the KGB listening next door.

She gave herself a moment to grieve. Just a moment. Only then was she able to work the problem.

Sergei couldn't get on that plane. The moment he stepped foot on Soviet soil, he would be back in prison. He might not even survive – his lungs were in poor shape; the few weeks in Houston had not helped him gain any of the weight he'd lost while incarcerated, tortured. Margo wouldn't be surprised if they shot him in the head before he even got on the plane. No, Sergei could not be allowed to leave the States. Not even reach the airport, leave the building. JSC was her territory. She knew every corridor, every person. She could control everything in this building. The moment Sergei left, he was out of her control. Out of reach.

Reaching for the phone, Margo called the head of security for JSC. "Cooper, I need you to run an emergency lockdown drill in—" She checked her phone. It had been ninety seconds since he'd left. Three minutes to make it to the nearest elevator. She would have to run. "—Two minutes and thirty seconds. And hold all the elevators on my floor for two minutes."

"Yes ma'am."

Margo checked her watch, then threw herself out of her office door. Nuri made a move to question whether she was okay; Emma held her back. Margo didn't examine the knowing glances of her assistant; all she could think about was Sergei. She had bought two minutes to get to the bank of elevators. She just had to hold onto him for thirty seconds. Her heartbeat seemed to sync with the tick tick of her watch hand as she sprinted through the corridor towards the elevators. One of the KGB babysitters was violently stabbing the buttons. One minute fifty seven, fifty eight, fifty nine—

The elevator dinged. "Doctor Nikulov!" Sergei turned at the sound of her voice. "I just need thirty seconds of your time to go over some calculations." The KGB agent began to protest. She cut him off with a hand. "It will only take thirty seconds. I am more than happy to register a complaint with Director Catiche."

Margo knew that card was no longer one for a strong hand, but still she played it. She wore her feelings on her face – damp eyes, a quivering lip – in the hope that they would just give her thirty fucking seconds to talk to the man she loved. But they wouldn't. Fine. She only needed fifteen anyway. The two KGB agents stepped on board the elevator, one of them taking Sergei's arm. Ten. Margo dragged him away, dragged him outside the elevator. Five.

"Margo—"

"It's okay."

Just as the KGB agent was about to reach for him, pull him out of her grasp, the lockdown drill came into place. The lights dimmed red; the siren began to whine. The elevator doors drew shut with an audible thud, quicker than the KGB agent could register. Every elevator in JSC was now locked down – and would only work again with a manual override. There were grumbles from the engineers and astronaut candidates in the corridor as they moved into empty work spaces and offices, barricading doors and just waiting for the all clear.

Sergei merely stared at her. "Margo. What have you done?"

"I've bought us fifteen minutes." She closed the gap between them, now. Didn't put distance between them like she had in her office. Didn't hide behind platitudes and false hopes. "I have fifteen minutes to convince you to ask me to defect so I can keep you."

Sergei did not say anything. There would be time for him to argue, to debate. But right now he just held her face in his hands, rested his forehead against hers, and breathed in fresh, free air for the first time since 1992.

It was by living by these 77 Commandments that our Ancestors lived and survived in harmony with the Earth for over 50,000 years. They accomplished feats that are still unimaginable and unattainable to this modern world, despite technological advancement, because we haven't evolved or advanced spiritually.

If we now understand and acknowledge that society's spiritual, moral and intellectual principles have declined and that our current values are failing us, then we have a choice: follow the destruction that society has set for us, or recover this world (replicate the Divine World) to achieve the quality, the individual quality that we can show, by reeducating ourselves and returning to what has worked for our Ancestors for so long.

Titan History: Kong

Welcome once again to Monarch: After Dark, the digital gateway between you and the organisation dedicated to understanding and navigating this troubled new world we live in.

Apologies for the lack of communication in recent weeks, Monarch has been hard at work collecting data and collaborating with global governments through the most recent Titan crisis, including the disposal of deceased Titan remains and the best course of action to take with Godzilla in his new resting place.

That said, today's communication will be going over a Titan who has been surging in popularity across the globe over the past few years; the undisputed king of the Hollow Earth, Kong.

Until recently, Kong was believed to be the last of his kind. Born during a climactic final battle between his parents and a horde of Skullcrawlers (ravenous amphibian predators on Skull Island), Kong grew up in an isolated world filled with danger at every angle. Growing up to become the guardian deity of Skull Island, Kong was held in great reverence by the native Iwi tribe that lived on the island. His species, designated Apus giganticus, were also known protectors of the Iwi, fighting off the Skullcrawlers and other threats until their last breath.

During his centuries on the island, Kong fought a variety of creatures, from the Mire Squad and Sirenjaws to other Titans such as the mysterious Kraken or night-bringer Camazotz. However, in 2021, a storm generated by Monster Zero fused with the perpetual storm surrounding Skull Island and plunged it into chaos. Three years later, in 2024, Kong was removed from the island as the key to a daring plan to uncover a Hollow Earth energy source to stop Godzilla. The two alpha Titans clashed twice before setting aside their differences to take down Apex Cybernetics' rogue superweapon, Mechagodzilla.

Currently, Kong now resides in the Hollow Earth alongside a newly-freed tribe of his speices, an orange ape-like Titan which he seems to have adopted as a son, and the ancient ice Titan Shimo.

While Kong's exact origins are unknown, research conducted within the Iwi settlement appears to place his birth somewhere in the 17th Century, making him perhaps the youngest Titan on record. However, his entangled history with Monarch began much later, in 1973.

In a time where Monarch was on its last legs and facing the possibility of being shut down, founding figure William Randa and geological advisor Houston Brooks lobbied to piggyback on a Landsat expedition to Skull Island. With a military escort courtesy of the Sky Devils squadron, the team dropped seismic charges on the island to map the bedrock beneath the surface. Unknown to them at the time, their charges awakened the Skullcrawlers living in thermal vents beneath the island and incurred Kong's wrath.

Kong swiftly destroyed the Sky Devils' helicopters, leaving the survivors split into two groups. One, including Brooks, encountered the Iwi and stranded WW2 pilot Hank Marlow, where they learned about Kong and his history with the Skullcrawlers. A second, including Randa, embarked on a mission of revenge driven by Colonel Preston Packard.

After being lured into a napalm trap by Packard, Kong was initially helpless to battle the recently awakened Skull Devil, the last of the adult Skullcrawlers that had a hand in wiping out his family centuries prior. Recovering quickly, the two beasts engaged in a brutal encounter. Following some assistance from the expedition survivors, Kong triumphed by tearing out the Skull Devil's innards, avenging his parents in the process.

His next major sighting occured in 1993, but without a Monarch presence on Skull Island at the time, this is pending investigation. According to witnesses, Kong did battle with a large underwater Titan (designated 'Kraken'), after being coaxed to the island's coast by Annie, a young girl stranded on the island for years with a strange dog-like beast as a companion. After exchanging many blows, Kong ultimately killed the Titan by tearing its body in half.

In 1995, Aaron Brooks (Houston's son) led an unauthorized expedition to Skull Island, as he felt unsatisfied with leaving protection against the Skullcrawlers to Kong alone. During their stay, mythographer Walter Riccio experienced vivid visions of Kong's origins, under the influence of an Iwi medicinal drink. When Riccio destroyed the wall to the Iwi village, Kong stepped in to vanquish the Mother Longlegs swarm that seized their chance and killed Riccio before communing with Aaron and the Iwi.

In the following decades, Kong was largely left to his own devices as the island's guardian. Though Monarch teams briefly assisted him in 2015 with a crisis involving the unknown organisation Janos Biotech and the island's Snarehunter population, and Kong himself kept a horde of Skullcrawlers that attempted to leave the island in response to Monster Zero's 'alpha call' in 2019, no major events really transpired between 1995 and 2021.

In 2021, as mentioned previously, Skull Island was plunged into chaos when one of Monster Zero's residual storms merged with the storm system surrounding Skull Island. When darkness fell, the bat Titan Camazotz emerged and battled Kong for dominion over the island. Thanks to a daring pilot triggering a sonic boom to disorient Camazotz, Kong was able to prevail, though he was ultimately unable to save his home.

Three years later, and the artificial habitat Monarch built for Kong was unable to hold him much longer. He was reluctantly taken to the sea and transported to Antarctica's Outpost 32 (now rebuilt as a Hollow Earth station), though not without attracting Godzilla, who destroyed the naval fleet transporting him and almost drowned the ape. Following the acquisition of an axe left in the Hollow Earth by his ancestors, Kong and Godzilla clashed again in Hong Kong. While Godzilla prevailed through sheer power, Kong refused to submit to his rule.

After being revived by an exploding H.E.A.V, Kong jumped in to stop Mechagodzilla from executing his organic counterpart. Setting aside their differences, the two Titans teamed up to take down the mecha. A blast from Godzilla's atomic breath charged up Kong's axe, and he was able to deal the finishing blow by hacking Mechagodzilla to pieces and holding its severed head in triumph. The two Titans regarded each other one more time before parting ways.

Which brings us to the present. While much of what transpired is still being compiled to our databanks, it is known that Kong returned to the surface on three different occassions. The first was to have an infected tooth removed at a Monarch facility, the second was in Egypt to coerce Godzilla into assisting him, and the third was a two-on-two battle in Brazil between Kong and Godzilla, and Shimo and the "Skar King", evil ruler of the Kong tribe in Hollow Earth.

Breck Bednar was a bright, intelligent, year ten pupil at St. Bedes in Redhill, Surrey. His father, Barry, was a successful City oil trader originally from Houston, Texas, who went on to manage a series of companies, including Rubicon Oil Brokers. Breck’s mother, Lorin LaFave, hailed from Michigan and had previously worked for clothing companies before she became governor and teaching assistant at St. John’s C of E Primary School.

Like many teenagers, Breck found solace and companionship on the internet, immersing himself in online gaming and making new friends. He joined an online community called TeamSpeak after being introduced to it at a church youth group. The platform was similar to Skype, allowing him to play games with his school friends and meet new ones, including two boys named Liam and Tom. Although they attended different schools, they would all chat on the server after classes.

Initially, Breck’s parents believed the online server was a positive thing for him as it fostered socializing and interaction with like-minded individuals. Breck excelled in sports, but it was computers that were his passion and future career. Even as a young boy, he had a deep interest in computers, teaching himself code and building his own gaming computer using components purchased online.

The server was owned and controlled by 18-year-old Lewis Daynes. Breck became close to Daynes and looked up to him. First of all, he was impressed by his extensive computer knowledge. As the relationship grew, Daynes told Breck that he worked as a computer engineer by day and had even worked for the US Defence Department as a hacker and promised Breck great wealth through a fictional software company. According to Lewis, he had ties to the FBI, ran multi-million-pound businesses and owned luxury homes in London and New York City.

In reality, Daynes was unemployed and lived in a flat in Grays, Essex. He had been abandoned by his parents and had spent his childhood and adolescence in and out of foster care. Online, he created this persona as a wealthy and successful entrepreneur and Breck was impressed. He believed that Daynes was living the kind of life that he had dreamed of for himself.

After grooming and manipulating Breck, Daynes did the unthinkable..

Ameera Deadrick was only 8 years-old when she vanished during 2016. The young girl was living in Texas at the time of her disappearance. Ameera still remains missing today, and her mother Tiara McWilliams is still fighting for answers.

Tiara and Ameera spent the early years of Ameera's life living in Wisconsin. Ameera's father, Anthony Deadrick, lived in Houston, Texas. Tiara and Anthony had a tumultuous relationship, as Anthony was reportedly abusive. When Tiara fled to Wisconsin with their daughter, Anthony allegedly "promised he'd make [Tiara] pay for taking Ameera from him."

In 2013, Tiara reluctantly agreed to allow Ameera to spend the summer with her father and his girlfriend, LaShanda Spikes, in Houston. When the summer ended, Anthony reportedly refused to return Ameera to Tiara. Tiara subsequently traveled to Houston herself to pick Ameera up. Once there, Anthony still refused to let Tiara bring Ameera back to Wisconsin. Tiara and Anthony did not have a legal custody agreement in place regarding Ameera. Due to this, the police allegedly refused to assist Tiara in the matter. Tiara eventually had to return to Wisconsin without her daughter. 

Over the next few years, Tiara was able to visit Ameera in Houston on several occasions. The mother and daughter also kept in touch often via phone and FaceTime. Tiara repeatedly tried to convince Anthony to allow Ameera to go back to Wisconsin with her, but Anthony always refused. 

By 2016, Tiara was no longer able to get in touch with Ameera, Anthony, or LaShanda. Throughout an investigation, it was revealed that Anthony Deadrick was arrested in November 2016 on unrelated charges. According to reports, nobody had seen Ameera earlier that fall - before her father was arrested. Tiara had no idea that Anthony was incarcerated, nor did she know that Ameera had not been seen since before he went to prison. 

After Ameera was reported missing, investigators visited Anthony in prison to question him about his daughter's whereabouts. Anthony told detectives that "he had befriended a woman in Waco, Texas and had left Ameera in her care." He claimed the woman's name was Linda, but some people knew her as 'Tootie'. Anthony provided an address for investigators, but no such person by that name lived at the residence. Investigators have never been able to verify this woman's existence.

Anthony has since been released from prison. He has never been charged with anything related to Ameera's disappearance. Investigators have not publicly announced any other suspects or persons of interest.

Suit Malfunction

Based on this incorrect quote that I made.

Miguel O’Hara’s suit was overwhelmingly blue. That was the first thing Gwen had noticed about it, and she teased him about it. He didn’t respond to it, though. Caped Bluesader, Blue Panther, Blue Bug, she’d had a field day coming up with nicknames for him.

Miguel O’Hara’s suit was a hologram. Gwen didn’t find this out until later, but it made a lot of sense as well as raised a few questions. It made sense because a hologram would conveniently handle the talons he had on his hands and feet. On the other hand, she wanted to ask if his suit being a hologram meant he was technically naked.

“What the hell is that?” Miles asked, pointing at Miguel’s arm. Gwen looked where he was pointing and gasped. The suit was malfunctioning. His arm was glitching, alternating between bare flesh and the suit.

“What are you gasping about?” Miguel asked. He looked at his arm, and growled with annoyance. “Dammit, my suit!” He rushed out, looking embarrassed underneath his anger.

“What was that?” Miles asked.

“The hologram’s malfunctioning,” Gwen explained.

“His suit’s a hologram. It’s the only thing that contains the talons. Everything else will just rip to shreds.”

“A hologram?” Miles’ eyes grow wide. “Does this mean that he’s basically naked?”

“That’s what I thought!” Gwen exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Miguel was trying to cooperate as Lyla debated what to do with Miguel’s new suit. “Maybe we can change the colour scheme. Give it a bit more red. It’ll stop Gwen from calling you Blue Panther.”

“No. The blue comes from a Day Of The Dead costume.”

“Also, I’ve been meaning to experiment with different clothing styles on this hologram device.” Lyla typed in some instructions. “What about a suit and tie?”

“I do not want to fight crime in a suit,” Miguel snarled.

“But I have so many ideas!” Lyla’s voice took on a whiny tone. “Like this bunny onesie-”

“No.”

“Or this Elvis jumpsuit-”

“No-”

“Or this maid outfit! Oh, you look so cute!” Miguel looked down at himself in horror as his suit, his beloved suit that he had designed himself, morphed into a black and white maid outfit. The skirt (which was disgustingly frilly) barely came down past his knees.

“LYLA!” Miguel roared, as the AI assistant laughed.

“Oh, I am keeping that one for the blackmail album! Or maybe the personal album! You know what, let’s do both!”

“CHANGE IT!”

“Fine, let me just . . . oh no.” Lyla frantically typed in more lines of code, getting more and more anxious. “Houston, we have a problem. In fact, we have two problems.”

“WHAT?!”

Lyla gave a hesitant, awkward grin. “It won’t shift back. You’re stuck like this.”

Miguel struggled to contain his anger and embarrassment. “And the second reason?”

“You . . . have a meeting in five minutes. With the teenage Spideys. Jess Drew will be there, too. And . . . basically everyone else. It’s a meeting with literally everyone.”

“This is entirely your fault. I will never life this down. Everyone will have this seared into their brains for the rest of their lives.” Miguel paced around the room, cursing and kicking the wall. “And I guess I must leave to be humiliated.”

“I wish you well.” And then Lyla retreated to wherever she went when not helping Miguel.

“Stupid Lyla, stupid outfit, stupid meeting.” Miguel repeated this mantra to himself while staring at the floor. “Good day.” Everyone’s mouths stretched to the ground.

“Am I seeing things?” Margo whispered to Malala. “Os it that Miguel O’Hara in a maid outfit? Does my suit have a filter that’s making me see things weird?”

“It’s not just you. I’m seeing it too,” Malala said.

“Before I start, I would like to point out that there is a temporary glitch in my holographic suit that is making it appear like a French maid outfit.”

“This is my fault. Wanted to mess around with the settings,” Lyla admitted. “Well, that’s all you’ll hear from me.” And she left again.

“Right. Thank you, Lyla.” Miguel coughed to ease the tension in the room.

It didn’t work.

He had no idea how he got through the meeting; he barely remembered anything from it. But it ended, and that was a relief. “Any questions?” he asked. Hobie Brown raised his hand. “Yes, Hobie?”

“I ‘ave two questions. First of all, if your suit is a hologram, doesn’t that mean you’ve been running around naked the whole time?” Hobie asked. The room descended into chaos as Miguel watched in horror.

“CALM DOWN!” Miguel roared. The sound was choked out of the room as he cast a steely glare over every version of Spiderman present. “It’s the only thing that contains my talons. Also, I believe you had a second question, Hobie.”

“Can you look here for a second?” Hobie asked. Before Miguel could say anything, Hobie snapped a picture. Miguel growled and pounced on Hobie. Hobie jumped out of the way and ran off, laughing. Miguel gave chase, and everyone chased after them, led by Peter Parkedcar.

“This. Is. AWESOME!” Miles cheered. “Are there any photographers around here?”

“YO!” a chorus of Peter Parkers said in unison. Miles jumped.

“Lots of different versions of Peter Parker are or were photographers,” Gwen explained. “There will be loads of photos of this.”

“I will pay all the money I have to keep a photo of this!” someone yelled.

Meanwhile, Lyla grinned and saved the moment for her personal album. “I wonder how long I should give it until I tell him that there was never a malfunction,” she mused.

“HOBIE BROWN, I WILL RIP YOUR HEAD OFF IF I DON’T GET TO DELETE THAT PHOTO MYSELF!” Miguel vowed.

“NEVER!” Hobie yelled, having the time of his life.

“Maybe I should give it a minute,” Lyla decided.
