#hot pepper plants

I am ridiculously happy about these; I've been saving this one big laundry detergent bottle for years, and I was planning to cut it up and put a hot pepper plant in it, but, I had 2 hot pepper seedlings. Then I randomly found another, similar detergent bottle abandoned outside! I cut them up to make them into planters, and, it's not very visible on the picture, but I grabbed colored pencils and drew on them for decoration. You might be able to see little hot peppers drawn on the right one! The left one has a meadow with grass and flowers. They're more visible in reality and they both look so cute. Not to mention the plants look happy and eager to grow, I had just transplanted them and they had no visible stress on them. Looking forward to little baby peppers!

very very sickly and in a lot of chronic pain today but look how happy the kitchen cherry tomatoes, hot peppers, & ground cherry plants are!

I trimmed my pothos plant a few weeks ago. (it was getting truly ridiculous, I'd started draping the vines over a metalwork piece I have hung on the wall to keep them from dragging on the floor)

(and remember, the plant is already on top of a bookshelf taller than me! truly wild.)

anyway, I trimmed the pothos and now, a couple weeks later, I can see the little new green shoots emerging from all the places I trimmed. And despite this being a very normal, ordinary part of plant growth---I read articles about trimming pothos plants before I even got sort of close with a pair of scissors---I find myself genuinely awed.

I realize that I've already used up my "holy shit, plants" quota for the year, but---holy shit. Plants.

Cucumbers and peppers starting to pop off!!! Got some green onions planted as well. Parsley and other herbs are also doing really well!

I also managed to get a dragon fruit seeds to sprout!! Hopefully a couple others do too

My brother really likes those crazy hot sauces that aren’t recognizable to people… like “kill yourself death sauce” and “fucked your wife ghost pepper death drops” and I’m just a Texas Pete Tabasco Crystal’s man.

i repotted some of the lil seedlings that have been on my kitchen windowsill! they've begun needing bigger pots, and the rest who i have yet to repot will need the same soon enough.

i repotted two black cherry cherry tomato seedlings and a lemon drop hot pepper, and there should be more repotted soon! like that ground cherry plant...
