Today (Oct. 16th) is my 26th birthday!

As many who have been following me for at least a year now know, I always open my asks to writing prompts from everyone to celebrate my birthday.

This year I'll be accepting requests from October 16th - October 23rd. (My hand has been sore due to a bee sting so this post is a little late. As a result me accepting requests will last a little longer than typical this year.)

As always you can send as many prompts/requests as you want, for any fandoms/characters/ships/etc. Under the Keep Reading there will be a list of the fandoms I am the most into at this moment in time. As far as shipping goes I'm a multi-shipper and enjoy most ship(s)/ship dynamics. I'll only write smut for the listed star trek shows. My inbox is open and anon is on.

SEVENTEEN TO RETURN WITH 12TH MINI ALBUM "SPILL THE FEELS" ON OCT 14

K-pop icon SEVENTEEN will return with their highly anticipated 12th Mini Album SPILL THE FEELS on October 14.

Today, SEVENTEEN revealed the mysterious title of the upcoming album through a short teaser clip featuring an anagram where the phrase ‘I FELT HELPLESS’ transforms into ‘SPILL THE FEELS,’ hinting at an emotional and introspective theme of overcoming helplessness by embracing vulnerability and spilling out honest feelings. This signals another album that continues SEVENTEEN’s long-standing mission of spreading positivity and hope through their music.

Prior to the title reveal, the teaser revealed on September 13 sparked numerous speculations among fans after a scene set in a dark, eerie subway station ended with the scrambled letters of ‘I FELT HELPLESS’ displayed on a billboard, leaving the meaning shrouded in mystery.

The K-pop icon also dropped a series of concept photos between the teasers, capturing the members submerged in water with their eyes closed, evoking a sense of helplessness and loneliness. Other photos show the members gazing into the camera, their faces conveying deep, meaningful expressions that exude a sense of tranquillity.

Guidelines: October’s event will have the theme of spine chillers. Each submission must:

While it’s not a requirement for submissions to fall into the horror genre, or even to be scary, we encourage all participants to be festive and adventurous this October.

i watched spirited away in the start of this week, it was so good thank you for recommending it to me! it all truly is about togetherness isn't it? be it human world or spirit world i liked how no face was portrayed, he wasn't doing anything until chihiro noticed his existence, once he got the taste of being noticed he wanted more of it but everyone else has always ignored him so he tried a different approach by giving them what they wanted. like he wasn't some bad guy he was just tired of existing with no one acknowledging him but then chihiro and others go to visit the other twin sister and she treats him the same way she treats her other guests in her house after that he didn't act up or something. i really liked that. i also loved chihiro's bravery and her friendship with haku it was so sweet :') one thing i don't understand is that why or how haku got roped into being yubaba's right-hand person? it was mentioned the river was destroyed and apartments were made on it so doesn't it make him an official spirit? it's a realm where spirits come to rest and enjoy after dwording so jdjsksl idk i keep thinking about this a little too hard

my brother (flashback) w/ @hoshi-oct; — Estava nervoso de um modo que fazia algum tempo desde que não ficava. Lembrou das noites em que chegava a passar fome e vivia com medo, mas sabia que essa situação envolvia algo completamente diferente; era sobre seu esforço, sobre seu talento e sua capacidade de fazer com que as pessoas que acompanharão o reality vejam seu potencial. Faltava mais ou menos quarenta minutos até que começasse a gravação do primeiro episódio, e se encontrava cercado de trainees masculinos: conhecia a maioria mesmo sem nunca ter conversado, e alguns poucos que já tinha um certo nível de intimidade por ter os encontrado em algumas situações que a empresa planejava. 

Todo seu nervosismo já estava começando a irritar, principalmente porque ainda faltava um bom tempo até que as gravações começassem e aquele tipo de sentimento só prejudicaria sua performance, em todos os sentidos. I didn’t say this on my tweet but I forgot to add, if you don’t make art, anything you do say on the day would be more than enough to help, or spreading this idea around to anyone who who has a passing interest. Word of mouth works perfectly too.

Hoping people at Hal take notice but if not, it’s still a win-win to see more love for the series and show appreciation to the people who produced it. Animation is a thankless job most of the time, so I think it’s long overdo that we say thanks to them for their hard work.

Long numbers games!?

So as this post showed, Tsumugi’s birthmonth divided by birthday brings up this- 0.5333333333. Pretty straightforward association: 53rd game. Rantaro’s comes up with 3.3333333333 (like ‘Don’t forget Oct 3rd’ or something?? haha). Seems there’s something going on with more of them, so

Let’s uh, try the rest of them:

Kaito Momota: 4th month / 12th day = 0.3333333333

Miu Iruma: 11th month / 16th day = 0.6875

Kiibo: 10th month / 29th day = 0.3448275862

Kirumi Tojo: 5th month / 10th day = 0.5

Himiko Yumeno: 12th month / 3rd day = 4 (LMAO, cursed)

Maki Harukawa: 2nd month / 2nd day = 1

Angie Yonaga: 4th month / 18th day = 0.2222222222

Gonta Gokuhara: 1st month / 23rd day = 0.0434782609

They seem to look meaningless much of the time. But. Curiously

Ouma's and Saihara's look the exact same, save for the number before decimal

There's something else too (go to this post for context!)

Alright. Ouma's ‘ni shi’, 24 / Saihara's ‘shi ni’, 42 gives us... this: 0.5714285714. It's basically the same as their birthday results after the decimal, except removing the first 2 and 8. A reason for this I’ve found after a little research is that the repeating number chain ‘142857′ is called a ‘cyclical number’, and I’ve found others of this exact type testing out other characters’ birthdays: Chiaki/Chihiro, Gundham, Nagito and Masaru. 

That said, none of those match this pattern so precisely. But if you multiply Ouma’s birthday result by two, you get a perfect match to the 24/42 number even if you use the precision calculator to calculate everything.

I've noticed there are other cyclical numbers too (one other is 692307 shared by Sakura and Sonia, who have the same birth day but a month apart) but still a lot of variation among all the long numbers besides. Having two varied long numbers turn out almost the exact same like Ouma’s and Saihara’s do is so... weird. It’s like the birthdays were engineered to have nigh perfect correlation with each other at the base level or something...

I’m also curious- is there some kind of relevance to the number loop 142857? Or idk, any other numbers that are showing up? Because one other birthday that had my attention was Gundham’s whose is identical to Okabe Rintaro from Steins;Gate (maybe because... chuunis LOL), and had that same number loop. And oh here’s a fun one: Monaca’s result is 4, the same as Himiko’s :’) Both of them are self-prescribed ‘mages’. That had to be done on purpose.

Seriously, what is going on with these numbers!?

The new monthly prompt is out! Whether you write it as a one-shot, drabble, or make it a full out series before the month is over is up to you! And as always the prompt is open to all Seventeen writers, member or not. There are just a few guidelines to this event:
