Hi! When you draw a solar/lunar return/natal chart on astro.com, what asteroids would you recommend to include? Apart from the ones you get if you choose the "Astrodienst w. asteroids“ drawing style. I‘ve been ignoring them for years and I feel like I‘m missing out lmao, but having to type the asteroid numbers out is really bothersome to me 😭💀 Thank you in advance <3. ✨✨✨ Astro Observation ✨✨✨
Leo are as protective as scorpio, especially if there are planets in scorpio or capricorn in the natal chart.
The signature sign is as important as the rising and the moon.
The twelfth house could give us an indication not only of the problems that we carry with us as baggage from the past but above all enlighten us on the most appropriate behaviors with which we intend to test ourselves in this life.
The eye of Taurus is Horus, the Egyptian Falcon, whose eyes are the sun and the moon and which represents the view that is achieved with the balance between the right hemisphere and the left hemisphere, that is, between intuition and rationality, with the activation of the Pineale, that is, of Aldebaran.
Lilith in Aries can be very very violent and aggressive, it is necessary to do shadow work.
The unevolved Sagittarian man is afraid of sex.
Scorpio Moon in Woman: the Black Madonna. The snake enchanter or the spider woman, the mysterious seductress. Of intense emotions, fascinating, mysterious, passionate, enigmatic. Able to fully capture others in their own canvas. Possessive, devouring, irresistible abbet.

Asteroid

I find it very interesting that with some of these recent photos that Doja Cat has been doing feels like she's invoking certain goddesses in her photo shoots.
That one for size I noticed that when I first seen it.
Granted she is very Venusian. She is a Libra with a lot of Libra placements in her natal chart. I've even noticed that in one of the photos she took, she invoked a resemblance of Grace Jones at the very least she's inspired by her. I don't blame her, Grace Jones has been that b****, is that b****, and will forever be that b****!!!
I even noticed with the eye earring is she invoking the Sun God Ra? Then again it may be more so the Lunar God Horus because it is on her left ear. Noted and it being about the feminine i.e. which has been stereotypically linked towards the moon . We all know since Goddess created all of this ,she encompassed the sun and the moon. That could just be me going too far I'll take that on the chin. I be reaching sometimes.
I mean even with the pictures when she's in the blue it's interpreting the Virgin Madonna. Might I add, she does have a Virgo moon (my Virgo moon sister 🤗) so I know she pays attention to detail. Stereotypically speaking Virgo i.e. virgin, I think you catch my drift. Then, of course, her name is Doja cat and when you kind of think about that two of the Goddesses that I believe is very feline-like is Sekhmet (the ancient Egyptian goddess of war and healing) and Bastet (the goddess of protection, pleasure, and the bringer of good health), whom I think she really does embrace the Bastet archetype. Now this is just to me she's starting to look way more feline and to those that are into Goddess worship it has been said that when women do get into that they start looking more feline. Now how true that is I don't know, but I'm starting to take notice that a lot of the girls starting to look kind of feline.
She even took pictures where it had pigs. Esoterically speaking pigs have a spiritual meaning to them I wonder if she's esoteric, so to speak. I don't know but just something within me is leading me to believe homegirl is into Goddess worship.
However this is just my thoughts. No one doesn't have to take not an ounce of anything for fact. It's just certain things that I notice. Hollywood or should I say Hollyweird is ruled by Leo or Pisces and it deals with fantasy and illusions. It's probably a spiritual place it's dark but it has some esoteric, spiritual degree to it.
💎💎💎Also I do not own none of these pictures it is owned by its rightful owner💎💎💎
#doja cat#esoteric#gotta love it#my venus in taurus loves this#the pictures are so aesthetically pleasing to my eyes#I can't wait for the new album#do y'all see it as a message or am I reaching#me

WITCHCRAFT INFO
WHAT IS WITCHCRAFT?
Witchcraft is the practice of metaphysics and energy manipulation, often with occultic ties. Witchcraft is not a religion or belief system, therefore it is extremely widespread and encompasses a variety of practices, traditions, and cultures. In the simplest way possible, witchcraft is the act of harnessing and controlling energies around you in order to obtain a certain outcome. The main difference in being a witch and practicing witchcraft is that witches often use other tools and outside sources to help boost their energies during metaphysical workings. You do not have to convert religions in order to practice witchcraft. There is no certain belief system or initiation you have to partake in to practice witchcraft.

tl;dr
been htinking a lot lately about sith astrology and sith divination generally
korriban has a year twice as long (and change) as dk’s so if it’s based on a western zodiac model it’d be a 2.1ish year cycle
but that’s not the biggest problem wrt astrology because, you know, how can your sun sign be the saber forge when you weren’t even born on korriban for horuset to be rising there
(additional realisation that they literally called korriban’s sun ‘horus seth’ and i’m just. why are star war writers like this)
korriban has seven moons i don’t even what to think what their natal charts must look like (how many moons would even be acknowledged. like what if we woke up tomorrow and scientists were all ‘we found the moon... 2!’ would astrologers revise their shit or) (i mean when was the last time you saw someone care about eris’s position on a chart) (joke about troy goes here)
but that is also completely my fucking jam because it’s absolutely representative of this cultural tug of war between the ‘old’ pre-vitiate empires (korriban) and the ‘new’ empire (seat of power on DK) and the cultural clashes between sith and imperial culture and shut up appo this is a tl;dr
sith magic. reconstructionist sith magic. the taboo of pre-vitiate sith magic and the erasure and disdain he attempted to manufacture for the pre-GHW empires.

Asteroids; Part 3 - the Asteroid Ceres Cont’d. Ceres in the Natal Chart
Part 1 Part 2
In the previous parts of my asteroid studies, I discussed the importance of the primal energies from ancient Egyptian mythology and trying to uncover their symbolism and connections to the asteroids. I discussed Ceres’ representing the material body carrying the labours of life such as pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood. On a larger scale, Ceres could represent the labours our earth carries; the crops we sow and their condition. Ceres sits in the natal chart as a watery bull and a potential exalted moon. The position and condition of Ceres in the natal chart gives insight to parenthood, pregnancy, fertility, and childbirth. It can play just as much as a valuable role to a male chart as it can to a female chart. In a child’s chart, it will be a reflection of the care received from the parents. in Demetra George’s book, Asteroid Goddesses, she mentions the psychological complexes that can be revealed from Ceres and aspects to Ceres such as eating disorders and self-worth. Ceres is the vehicle that carries delicate and imprintable life in which either prospers or fails according to its conditions.
Ceres in the Houses
The 1st House “You two are my sun and moon” - My mother (referring to my brother and I), Ceres in the 1st House. The individual will strongly identify with their children and embodies the mother archetype strongly. Their children quite literally become the light of their lives. Even if the individual does not want children or their chart denies it, this energy will play out in different ways such as dedication and care for animals or life in general. Children with this placement generally have a powerful bond with their primary parent, especially when Ceres conjuncts the ascendant.
The 2nd House The individual instinctively provides for their children (unless otherwise conflicted) in material ways. The individual is often the bread winner or a huge financial contributor (or lacks if malefic aspects involved) to the children even when they’re not much else to them. Benefic aspects to this position indicates a child that is always well fed, in good health, clothed, and sheltered. Malefic aspects to this position can indicate the opposite.
The 3rd House The individual uses mental stimulation as if its the mother’s milk for their children. People with this placement often encourage their children to be studious and place their children in stimulating environments. Afflictions to this position can indicate difficulty with teaching the child fundamental skills in their early development. Afflictions to this position in a child’s chart can indicate learning disabilities or lack of access to education. Ceres in the 3rd can indicate siblings being a prominent source of mental nurturing in the early development of a child.
The 4th House This position for Ceres indicates a strong, similar connection between a mother (or primary parent) and child as the 1st House placement, although this one is more karmic and emotional. Positions in the 4th house often indicate hidden or secretive things which could suggest a very protective and sheltering parent. The psychological umbilical cord is strong. It can also manifest in many other ways with that theme of things that are hidden. Malefic aspects to this position could indicate psychological complexes associated with over-protective parents. This position could also denote a step-parent to a child if the step-parent is the opposite sex of the child.
The 5th House Often individuals with this placement will desire to have children; its in their life’s agenda to create in one of the most godly ways possible. Parents with this placement are strongly involved with their children and treat them as splitting images of themselves. Being involved with their child’s creative, playful, and imaginative mind is very important to this individual. If life denies children of their own, involvement with children will manifest in other ways. Malefic aspects to this position may deny children or denote difficulty with parenthood (either on the individual’s part of the child’s part). Benefic aspects can denote a child of righteousness and nobility.
The 6th House Individuals with this placement raise their children to be efficient in the domestic environment. In the early developmental stages, the child will be taught the labours of day-to-day activities to keep the body and home pure and up-kept; although common, it becomes a particularly prominent theme. One example of a person with Ceres in the 6th house had their child taught how to pay bills at the age of 8. Malefic aspects to this position can indicate health concerns for the child in the early stages of development. The same person in my example had Jupiter in the 12th house opposite Ceres with a 0 degree orb and the Sun squaring Ceres– her child developed type 1 diabetes at the age of 12 and almost lost her child due to neglect in the child’s health/symptoms. Benefic aspects denote an observant parent.
The 7th House The main theme of this placement is for the parent to be a model for the child’s future partner. Individuals with this placement will often choose a partner or be fated to be with a partner like the parent that was most prominent in their early development (unless afflicted, then the individual will stray away from people who are like their parents.). Dependency complexes could manifest with this placement based on its conditions. Individuals with this placement may parent their children to be dependent.
The 8th House The most psychologically complex placement for Ceres to be. So with that said, a child with this placement is especially psychologically and even spiritually vulnerable in the early stages of its development. Deep bonds are formed between the parent and child through intense or even traumatic experiences. Aspects to this position can suggest what these experiences may manifest as. Benefic aspects can indicate a person with deep emotional intelligence developed through the parenting they received or the parenting they will give to their children. One example of a person with this placement has Ceres conjunct Venus and was raised in an all female household (single mother, two sisters, and himself). This obviously has had a great impact on his perception of women and women’s issues, as a male. His sensitivity and emotional intelligence is considerable due to this experience.
The 9th House An individual with this position becomes a child’s greatest teacher. The main themes at that of the 9th house category (e.g. knowledge, freedom, truth, philosophy, etc.). A parent with this placement will greatly value world experience and freedom for their child (unless otherwise afflicted). A child with this placement may denote a parent that is abroad in their early development. It can also denote a highly religious upbringing or the parent feeling the need to make religion an important theme for their child.
The 10th House This is an individual with higher expectations for their child. They will push their child to be successful and this can manifest in either positive reinforcement/encouragement or tough love and strict discipline. People with this placement often find themselves feeling like they need to prove themselves in someway to their parents in order to aid their self-worth. When this placement is afflicted, the individual may find that their work or public life impedes on their child’s development or vice versa. This position can denote working with children. It can also denote step-parents the same sex as the child.
The 11th House An individual with this placement may have significant parental experiences through friends or extended family. This is also a significant indicator for adoption of children, children’s issues, and women’s (mothers) issues. When this placement does manifest as adoption of a child, aspects to it will indicate the conditions. Malefic aspects can indicate difficulties with the process of adoption.
The 12th House When Ceres sits in the 12th house, it is very karmic. Major themes are loss or denial of children either on from the actions of the individual or of some other greater force. When the individual pays their karma, they are redeemed or given a second chance at what they either lost or couldn’t have. Aspects to this position can hone in on the specifics of this karma.
General Interpretation of Aspects to Ceres
I would like to put emphasis on general because every individual chart has multiple factors involved such as the sign a planet is in, the house, and other aspects involved. If you have a general idea of the signs, the planets, and the houses, interpreting Ceres is not only simple, but insightful and specific.
*Quick note on interpreting major aspects. Trines and Sextiles are harmonious and considerably beneficially. They blend the planets energies in helpful ways. Conjunctions can act harmonious or inharmonious, but for the most part are just a neutral concentration of energy. Oppositions are often inharmonious, sometimes neutral– they represent outer conflicts that need compromise. Squares are inharmonious and are considerably malefic when destructive planets are involved– they represent conflict that has no compromise.
Sun-Ceres “It is I, your son; I am Horus, I came toward you to wash you, to purify you, to revive you, to collect for you the pieces which remain because I am Horus, his father’s avenger.” The harmonious aspects indicate strength between a child and primary parent. It can generate incredibly powerful bonds; karmically powerful when the water houses are involved. This aspect can generate good health and is especially beneficial when the 5th or 6th house is involved. This aspect indicates an admirable parent that raises their child to be noble and good; the type of child that will protect their family. The harmonious aspects symbolize a king and his son, the prince. The inharmonious aspects indicate problems between the child and the primary parent. Either the child does not let the parent’s light in or the parent neglects to give the child light. Conflict between the child and their parents is a complex that is carried on into the child’s parenthood where they will either reject the style of parenting they were once familiar with or repeat it. The inharmonious aspects are in a lot of ways similar to the Sun-Moon ones; it may make a child have poor judgement and lack of self-esteem. It may even indicate separation of parents at the early development of a child. With certain houses involved, such as the 5th or 12th house, it can indicate denial of children.
Moon-Ceres Harmonious aspects indicate maternal (or paternal) ease. There is great fertility (unless otherwise afflicted). Powerful emotional bonds between the mother (or passive parent) and child. Just like the sun, the bonds are karmic when the water houses are involved. Motherly and receptive sensitivity are strong themes. Emotional attachment to those who nurture and those who need nurturing. The inharmonious aspects indicate issues between the mother (or passive parent) and child. May indicate lack of nurturing in the early development of a child and the complexes that follow with that. The houses involved will hint to the areas in which gives reasoning the mother’s neglect (e.g. Moon in the 9th may indicate a mother that is abroad in the early development of the child; a square or opposition to Ceres will indicate this being difficult for the individual and is something that carries onto their adulthood/parenthood.) When the inharmonious aspects involves the 5th or 12th house, it may deny children or indicate difficulty with feminine hormones thus it may create fertility issues. I strongly believe the negative aspects have a connection to female issues such as ovarian cysts and dysmenorrhea, especially if Mars also conflicts.
Mercury-Ceres Harmonious aspects blend empathetic energies with mental energies. It indicates an individual who has been introduced to ideas in their early development and understands the vital importance of communication coincide with empathy. It may indicate parenting a gifted child or being gifted intellectually as a child. It indicates where motherly wisdom is used in the houses involved. The inharmonious aspects can often indicate the opposite of the harmonious. There may be some intellectual deficiencies in the early development of the individual or the individual will experience their own child having learning disabilities. There is a general lack of understanding with this aspect. It may indicate neglect of communication.
Venus-Ceres Harmonious aspects denote an individual with exceptional physical connection to their loved ones– they have a “mother’s touch” in an exceptionally nurturing and healing way. Because of this, they can go beyond the maternal relationship their have with their children and help others. The harmonious aspects are very beneficial for for fertility. Feminine empowerment is a strong theme with these aspects. The inharmonious aspects can indicate, for lack of better words, neglect and denial of love. An individual with this aspect may have been raised in this type of an environment (or felt like they were) and complexes arise from this– difficulties with self-worth and trust issues with people who offer their love. The best way for people who experience the negative aspects is to identify the cause, understand the complexes it has created, and to consciously disallow the behaviours (trust issues, suspicions, closed-offness) into positive, healing relations.
Mars-Ceres Harmonious aspects denote strength and generating power. This provides exceptional strength through pregnancies, child-birth, and health of children. An individual with these aspects can be very dominating and may be the primary/active parent of their children. In the individual’s early development, they may have been raised in a masculine and active environment. The harmonious aspects are beneficial for a child’s confidence and self-image. The inharmonious aspects are particularly malefic and violent. When the 5th house is involved, it can deny children. If Mars is in the 8th house, it is particularly violent. The inharmonious aspects can denote an individual that was raised in a harsh environment; parents may have been over-domineering and lacked the maternal softness a young child needs in their early years. It may denote a child with poor judgement or poor temper.
Jupiter-Ceres Harmonious aspects exceptional beneficial in all areas that Ceres’ symbolizes; great fertility, smooth labours, smooth parenthood, etc. Can indicate parents that were generous or of Jupiterian nature. The harmonious aspects, including the minor aspect, quintile, may indicate an individual that came from a large family (many siblings, especially when the 3rd house is involved) or it may indicate someone who wants/will have many children. The inharmonious aspects denote excess on the parent’s part– for example, the parent may be stuck on the idea that their children need to finish everything on their plate which can make the child prone to over-indulgence or the child will associate eating as something negative (especially if Saturn/Capricorn is involved).
Saturn-Ceres The harmonious aspects can denote strength, fortitude, and unconditional love. Saturn generates structure and stability which can be beneficial to the relationship between a parent and child. The inharmonious aspects are as particularly damaging as Mars, but in a different way. Saturn restricts, denies, and freezes in the negative aspects which is extremely difficult to Ceres. It can symbolize denial of storge; love between the parent and the child. When the 5th or 12th house is involved, it can deny children or make conception difficult. The negative aspects restrict Ceres’ nurturing energies which can result in issues of self worth; connections to the 2nd, 4th, or 6th house can indicate eating disorders, although Saturn/Capricorn energy on its own can be enough to inflict this type of complex on Ceres. Either harmonious or inharmonious aspects may indicate older parents or having children later in life. Inharmonious aspects may denote this age gap as a burden that manifests in the individual’s parents or children.
Uranus-Ceres Uranus aspects to Ceres use a generation of ideals and applies them to the individual’s style of parenting. Connections to the 5th or 11th house can indicate adoption. The harmonious aspects indicate a parent that will apply their knowledge of human rights and individuality in the current state that our world is in to their child’s early development. The development of the child’s self-awareness becomes a prominent theme. Another prominent theme for the harmonious aspects is focus towards women’s (mothers) rights and children’s rights. The inharmonious aspects can be quite destructive. The individual may have grown up in an environment they have a difficult time fitting into thus they rebel and become labelled as a “difficult” child or a “bad seed.” Their different-ness is never validated by their parents and is sometimes ignored. When the individual creates a family of their own, either the pattern repeats itself or the individual pushes radical ideals on their children.
Neptune-Ceres The harmonious aspects indicate an individual with exceptional healing powers. The individual may exercise maternal/paternal instincts for the greater good; working with mothers and children. The harmonious aspects are also possible indicators for adoption, especially when the 11th house is involved. The connection these individuals have with their own children is psychically and sensitively powerful; having their children get in touch with their emotional sensitivity is key in their parenting. The individual may have grown up in an environment that was considered free-spirited or religious. The inharmonious aspects may indicate an individual that grew up in an environment that altered their perception of family-love. It’s possible their parents were involved with substance abuse or something else hindered their ability to be an adequate parent. When the individual has their own children, they redeem this inadequacy through the parenting of their own children or they repeat the process.
Pluto-Ceres The harmonious aspects indicate karmic transformations through parental experiences. The conditions of Pluto and Ceres can give more insight to where these transformations will take place and what they will be. The inharmonious aspects generate difficulty in Ceres’ realm. Loss, redemption, and transformation are prominent themes. Pluto can make it difficult to have children and when there is children, there is often loss, especially when there’s a connection to the 12th house. The strife Pluto creates with Ceres will be a lesson to the individual. The negative aspects may denote a physical or psychological pain from the individual’s early development.

Heyo everyone! Welcome
This blog is going to be dedicated to all things witchy/spiritual!
There will be a lot of things relating to tarot and astrology as those are my main methods of practice at the moment. I’m excited for this blog to grow as I do.
But as a mini intro : I’m Jude/Aidoneus and I’ve been practicing in my own ways for as long as I can remember. I turned to the internet around 11 for candle spells, took a bit of an hiatus, and have came back to magic within the past 5 years. I have three deities that I work with currently closely and they are Horus, Hades, and Lucifer. I am really into astrology and love to learn everything I can about natal charts of all varieties! I have been interested in tarot since the 5th grade but have only been practicing for about 2 years but have picked it up quickly and I really enjoy it.
Can’t wait for us all to learn from eachother.

Asteroid Files: Horus
Helios– Destiny: It’s a powerful force, and a decent if overhyped video game. Given too much, too fast, either of these can drive a boy to insanity, and make him feel that his own life has no meaning outside his purpose. Once that is fulfilled, he is of no further use to the world. At least, that is the side effect of the message that his parents drill into him, with a legacy he can never truly measure up to. So how do you win when the deck is stacked against you?
The Astronomy– 1924 Horus is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 24, 1960, by Cornelis Johannes van Houten and Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld at Leiden, on photographic plates taken by Tom Gehrels at Palomar. On the same date, the trio of astronomers also discovered 1912 Anubis, 1923 Osiris and 5011 Ptah, and the trio are credited with several thousand other asteroid discoveries. Horus measures about 12 kilometers in diameter.
The Myth– Horus was one of the most significant ancient Egyptian deities. He was worshiped from at least the late prehistoric Egypt until the Ptolemaic Kingdom and Roman Egypt. Different forms of Horus are recorded in history and these are treated as distinct gods by Egyptologists. These various forms may possibly be different perceptions of the same multi-layered deity in which certain attributes or syncretic relationships are emphasized, not necessarily in opposition but complementary to one another, consistent with how the Ancient Egyptians viewed the multiple facets of reality. He was most often depicted as a falcon, most likely a lanner falcon or peregrine falcon, or as a man with a falcon head.
Horus was born to the goddess Isis after she retrieved all the dismembered body parts of her murdered husband Osiris, except his penis, which was thrown into the Nile and eaten by a catfish, or sometimes by a crab, and according to Plutarch’s account used her magic powers to resurrect Osiris and fashion a golden phallus to conceive her son (older Egyptian accounts have the penis of Osiris surviving). Once Isis knew she was pregnant with Horus, she fled to the Nile Delta marshlands to hide from her brother Set, who jealously killed Osiris and who she knew would want to kill their son. There Isis bore a divine son, Horus. Horus was told by his mother, Isis, to protect the people of Egypt from Set, the god of the desert, who had killed Horus’ father, Osiris. Horus had many battles with Set, not only to avenge his father, but to choose the rightful ruler of Egypt. In these battles, Horus came to be associated with Lower Egypt, and became its patron.
According to The Contendings of Horus and Seth, Set is depicted as trying to prove his dominance by seducing Horus and then having sexual intercourse with him. However, Horus places his hand between his thighs and catches Set’s semen, then subsequently throws it in the river so that he may not be said to have been inseminated by Set. Horus then deliberately spreads his own semen on some lettuce, which was Set’s favorite food. After Set had eaten the lettuce, they went to the gods to try to settle the argument over the rule of Egypt. The gods first listened to Set’s claim of dominance over Horus, and call his semen forth, but it answered from the river, invalidating his claim. Then, the gods listened to Horus’ claim of having dominated Set, and call his semen forth, and it answered from inside Set.
However, Set still refused to relent, and the other gods were getting tired from over eighty years of fighting and challenges. Horus and Set challenged each other to a boat race, where they each raced in a boat made of stone. Horus and Set agreed, and the race started. But Horus had an edge: his boat was made of wood painted to resemble stone, rather than true stone. Set’s boat, being made of heavy stone, sank, but Horus’ did not. Horus then won the race, and Set stepped down and officially gave Horus the throne of Egypt. After the New Kingdom, Set was still considered lord of the desert and its oases.
Why He Matters– Okay, so first and foremost lets get one thing straight: Egyptian myths are damn WEIRD. I love them to death, but they are nuts and super sexual in odd ways, and this one is no exception. Lets break it down:
Dad gets murdered (odd place to start your origin story, but okay) by his brother and dismembered. Mom goes and gathers all the pieces-parts, sticks them together with the help of a magic talking bird- except the important bit which she makes out of gold- and then proceeds to bang the corpse. Kid grows up in hiding, ready to take down his rival for the throne, who proceeds to assert his dominance… sexually (that part was actually brand new to me, and I’m surprised there isn’t more tumblr fanart for it. Seems ripe for a Yaoi if you ask me) and makes him eat the evidence, which somehow invalidates it? And finally they settle the war for the entire country with a boat race. How in the hell am I going to find a astrological interpretation for this?
Well, in examining some charts, I find him showing up in strong aspect to those who have absent fathers and subsequent daddy issues. He is also representative of those who don’t feel in control of their own destiny, feeling as their life is not their own to live. This can manifest as a mantle that you feel you have to live up to in order to gain acceptance and worth from your family. Of course, Horus is also a war god, so we get all the fun connotations with that- like aggression, strength, drive to show up your rivals, that sort of thing- but it seems to manifest as familial struggle with him. Horus is very much the child (aka the Golden Child in the monomyth) in this dynamic, but at some point every kid has to grow up. He isn’t exactly the poster child for a happy childhood, and that shows in his chart expression. Even with all of that, Horus IS the one you want to look to for breaking out of toxic patterns and getting out of what you feel you are fated to. He (along with Vulcan) is one of the only hero-gods who manages it.
To find out where she shows up in your chart, go to astro.com, put in your birth details and in the extended options, all the way at the bottom of the next page, there will be a menu of additional objects. Under that is a blank space where you can enter the number 1924, for Horus. Once you have it entered, generate the chart! Where does Horus affect your life? Let us know in the comments below!

isis, goddess of healing and magic (asteroid 42)
Isis (an Ancient Greek name, actually) - referred to as Aset or Eset - is one of the most popular goddesses of Egyptian mythology. Thought to be the daughter of earth, Get, and sky, Nut, Isis plays a significant role in balancing nature. She is the sister and wife to Osiris and together these two gods ruled over the dead. Isis in particular served as an icon for resurrection and healing. When Set killed Osiris, Isis traveled everywhere in search of the pieces of him - when she found all of him (minus his penis), she made him whole again. Osiris became the first mummy and then was resurrected - after this resurrection, Osiris hid and the Horus plot ensued. When Horus was of age Isis brought him forward to the council and named him as the rightful hire. IN MY OPINION Isis in you chart can represent a) where you restore balance, b) where you like to fix/heal people, c) where you raise people up to become something incredible, and/or d) where you have the ability to forgive or pity the people who have wronged you.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of isis along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of isis AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede isis!

osiris, god of the dead (asteroid 1923)
Osiris, sometimes referred to as User, has been mentioned many times on this blog so today he is getting his own post. According to Plutarch (a Greek writer) Osiris was killed by Set (please read Anubis's post to learn of how), his own brother, who cut his body into fourteen pieces and scattered them across Egypt. Osiris's lover, Isis, and her sister Nephthys found all these pieces (minus his penis) then buried them. After this burial, Osiris is reborn and remains in the Underworld as its ruler and judge. His son Horus then grows up to avenge him. IN MY OPINION Osiris in your chart can represent a) where you can find a fresh start in life, b) where you are fertile in life, and/or c) where others would do anything for you.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of osiris along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of osiris AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede osiris!

hathor, goddess of love and fertility (asteroids athor (161) / hathor (2340))
this was a private request for this goddess who has two asteroids. athor was discovered in 1876 while hathor was discovered in 1976 after being flagged as a potentially hazardous asteroid then was later named hathor after the goddess (seems like a reference to her lioness days which we will discuss below). feel free to use one over the other or both - doesn’t matter to me :)!
on to hathor.
Hathor is considered one of the oldest gods/goddesses within Egyptian myth, often she is associated with Isis and, before that, Sekhmet. Some sources state that because of Hathor there is an Egyptian pantheon. Often the creation myth indicates that she was the hand that caused Ra (sometimes it's Ptah) to ejaculate and create the other godly beings as well as the world. In other versions, Hathor is considered Ra's right eye, eventually he found a new right eye - angry with this she cried and her tears created the humanity and other gods (sometimes it’s just men in general). Hathor was also Ra's daughter. Ra often sends Hathor to punish humans - once she transformed into a lioness to hunt those who made fun of Ra for being too old to rule when he wished to step down. This caused Hathor to be a bit bloodthirsty because when Ra said enough yet she continued to kill humans. Ra then asks Tjenenet, the goddess of beer, to intoxicate Hathor so she’d become docile once more. Hathor is also famously the goddess who restored Horus's sight. Set left the blind Horus alone on the mountaintop. Hearing his cries of pain Hathor caught a gazelle, milked, then poured the milk into Horus's empty eyes - it was then that his eyesight was restored. It is also in Horus's myth in which Hathor is beheaded and becomes cow-headed. Hathor is related to many other things: death - she welcomes people into the world of the dead, healing - she allegedly treated many of the sick, beauty and dance - she was consider very joyful, etc. IN MY OPINION Hathor in your chart represents a) where you are fertile or a creator, b) where you are reborn, c) where you nurture others, d) where you punish others for ostracizing your family, e) how you heal others, and/or f) how you welcome others.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of athor/hathor along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of athor/hathor AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede athor/hathor!

horus, god of the sky (asteroid 1924)
Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis. When he learned of his uncle’s (Set) betrayal against his father, he swore to avenge his father. With the help of his mother, he was kept a secret from Set in hopes to one day defeat the treacherous god. His prophecy stated that he would bring light back to the skies. Horus’s right eye was the sun and his left was the moon. When he grew up he challenged Set - in return Set proposed a challenge to Horus: they should transform into hippopotami and see who could stay submerged for the longest. Isis took advantage of Set’s vulnerable state, after having conferred with Horus, but when she failed Horus was outraged. He cut off her head and tossed it off a mountain (Thoth fixed her though - don’t worry lol). Later the two fought in front of the Ennead (the group of nine gods that helped rule after Osiris's death), who decided which god was the next pharaoh of all of Egypt. During the final battle Set lost a testicle while Horus lost an eye - which explains one being darker than the other - Hathor was the one to restore his vision. There are stories in which Set plucks out Horus's eyes while asleep then when Hathor heals Horus - Set decides to sexually assault him. In return Horus uses his semen to poison Set's lettuce - Set eats dinner and then is ultimately poisoned. Either way Horus becomes pharaoh of Egypt and Set is Ra's lackey for the rest of his days. IN MY OPINION Horus in a chart represents a) where you seek a lifetime of vengeance, b) where you can be everything and nothing all at once, c) where you enjoy to challenge others and be challenged, d) where you have a temper, e) where you may need healing physically and mentally, and/or f) how you get revenge.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of horus along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of horus AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede horus!
