egyptian asteroid observations (part 2)
these observations are completely hypothetical. they are based on my (the those closest to me's) experiences with each aspect/ placement! please don't take everything i say as predestined, astrology is possible outcomes not guaranteed ones. this is just a starting place for when examining singular objects in an entire galaxy (these are not the only asteroids in affect for you). take what resonates and leave what doesn't!

Hi! When you draw a solar/lunar return/natal chart on astro.com, what asteroids would you recommend to include? Apart from the ones you get if you choose the "Astrodienst w. asteroids“ drawing style. I‘ve been ignoring them for years and I feel like I‘m missing out lmao, but having to type the asteroid numbers out is really bothersome to me 😭💀 Thank you in advance <3. Also sorry if you have a post where you talked about something similar. I tried to look before asking but I couldn’t find anything

The Cosmic Names of MFB Beys.
In MFB, Beys are named after constellations like Pegasus and Leone and sometimes celestial bodies such as Jade Jupiter. However, there are some cases that do not seem as straightforward, and even some Beys that can find multiple origins for their names. I decided to take a look at them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vulcan Horuseus
Horuseus represents Horus, the god of the sky, and as a result, he encompasses both the sun and the moon as his eyes. So, he has a connection to Earth's satellite, the moon and with the sun, our star.
There is also an asteroid named after Horus: 1924 Horus.
The Fusion Wheel also plays a role, as Vulcan references a hypothetical planet closer to the sun than even Mercury.
Hades Kerbecs
Kerbecs actually refers to a constellation, Cerberus, which is now an integral part of the Hercules constellation.
However, like Horuseus, there is also an asteroid named after the three-headed dog: 1865 Cerberus.
Similarly, a moon of Pluto is named after the god’s loyal companion as well—Kerberos.
Mercury Anubius
Anubius is the Bey of the Legendary Blader of Mercury, Yuki, and as such, he represents the planet with his Fusion Wheel of the same name.
Anubis is the god of mummification and guided souls to the afterlife, a task also taken by Hermes, with whom he was associated with. Hermes is considered the Greek equivalent of the Roman Mercury.
Anubis is depicted as a man with a jackal head. This canine form can create a link with constellations such as Canis Minor, and some scholars claim there was a connection between the two for the ancient Egyptians. Some also say that Anubis was connected with Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, which is part of Canis Major. However, some of these claims are more modern interpretations. Regardless, I can see MFB using that interpretation.
Anubis also gave its name to an asteroid (1912 Anubis).
Forbidden Ionis
Ionis is depicted as a heifer and, as such, can be associated with the bull constellation, much like Dark Bull—they even share a similar color scheme.
However, it can also and mainly be associated with Jupiter’s satellite Io, named after one of the god’s mistresses, who was changed into a cow.
Omega Dragonis
Omega Dragonis represents a dragon and, as such, can be associated with the Draco constellation, much like L-Drago.
In addition, the complete name Omega Dragonis can be seen as a pun, since one of the stars in the Draco constellation is named Omega Draconis.
Death Quetzalcoatl
Quetzalcoatl represents the Aztec god of the same name, who often took the appearance of a feathered snake, just like in the anime. As a result, it can be associated with the Serpens constellation.
There is also 1915 Quetzálcoatl, an asteroid named after the Aztec god.
But more importantly, in Aztec mythology, Quetzalcoatl is often associated with the morning star, aka Venus.
Diablo Nemesis
As many of you probably know, Nemesis was the name given to a hypothetical star (a red or brown dwarf) once speculated to orbit around the Sun, but it doesn't actually exist.
However, Nemesis does have an asteroid with the same name: 128 Nemesis.
Additional Beys
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are some Beys that didn’t make it into the anime but seem to have names disconnected from the overall theme:
Divine Chimera
I couldn’t find anything concrete for Chimera, other than an asteroid named 623 Chimaera.
I think the reason why Kakeru’s Bey seems a little far from the classic constellation naming theme is because it was the result of the "CoroCoro Design a Beyblade Contest," with bladers creating their own designs.
Nightmare Rex
There are asteroids named after dinosaurs, notably 9951 Tyrannosaurus.
The name dinosaur ("terrible lizard") and Tyrannosaurus ("tyrant lizard") both derive from the greek word for lizard, meaning that they could represent Lacerta (the lizard constellation). It wouldn’t be the first time that a constellation ends up with a Bey having a different design—like Gill, which represents Carina Keel as the motif but has the spirit of a sea monster instead.
Bakuushin Susanow
Bakuushin Susanow was honestly more complicated. However, it is noteworthy that he is the god of the sea and storms and the brother of Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, and Tsukuyomi, the god of the moon. One day, he went on such a rampage that it caused Amaterasu to hide in a cave until the other gods convinced her to come out. This myth is believed to be a representation of a solar eclipse, with Susanow being the cause. Some modern interpretations suggest that Susanoo represents solar eclipses (in this myth), though this is not a central aspect of his traditional Shinto mythology. Interestingly, Takara Tomy released an all-black version of this Bey called Lunar Eclipse.
There is also an asteroid named after him: 10604 Susanoo.

Something funny I've noticed while playing in the Lancer game @xeansicemane is running is that I am the odd-man (woman?) out in our merry little band of misfits. I am the only one in the SRT without an interesting backstory and/or potentially mission threatening Dark Secret.
We have:
- Fern Tiramisu, the fancy rat who has a job on Hell's Gate in a record store that sells more drugs than records. Except this is merely their cover story, as they are really an operative working for the Union Intelligence Bureau, sent to Calliope on a Top Secret Spy Mission. They've also discovered that parts of their memory have been wiped - by them - and are now trying to recover those memories and figure out why they'd do that to themselves in the first place.
- Cassilda Halloway, the very large, very Stronk, practically indestructible crocodile lady who is a champion in Calliope's fighting scene. Her first, last, and favorite solution for any and all problems is "Imma punch it REAL hard." She's hiding out in the system specifically to get away from her family, a bunch of wealthy and influential fucks back in the Karrakin Trade Baronies. Complicating things is that her brother is also here, for reasons unrelated, and has fallen in with the Faith of the One Plumed in Golden Flame, the local Apocalypse Cult.
- Pearce Collartug, a hyena hacker enby who is practically a JoJo character. They pilot a giant snake-shaped Balor, spending most of every fight covering everything that gets close (and lots more besides) in corrosive nanite swarms. In the last session, we all found out that they also used to be a member of The Circuit, a renegade HORUS cell pirate ring run by Triple Point, a Legion Fork NHP (Fern: "It's a fucking WHAT?!") The Illegal Shape has currently escaped its box and is now doing lots of spooky horror movie shenanigans inside a big asteroid.
- Agarin Raankell, a genetically modified supersoldier dragon man hailing from Clan Thunder Skink, and if you think that sounds a little like the Clans from Battletech: you are absolutely correct. Apparently where he came from, someone generations ago found a Battletech source book about the Clans and went "Hey, y'know what would be awesome?" Probably the most stable and level-headed member of the entire SRT, which is hilarious if you know anything about the Clans, but it does make him the de-facto squad leader in most situations involving direct combat. Also, he's psychically bonded with all of us. Because of Reasons.
And then you have my character.
- Scarlet. She's an alcoholic fuck-up.
Personally, I'm fine with it. My design doc for her boiled down to "What if me, but Girl, and also mech pilot?" She's a grunt. A humble footsoldier. Currently License Level 2, and still piloting her Everest. If this were Battletech, she'd probably drive a Hunchback. She's here to fight and get drunk, because she's no good at anything else.
I just think its hysterical that I'm the only one here not doing A Bit.
... come to think of it, I'm also the only one who hasn't been gene modded to be a Funny Animal Person lol

what is the most horrible thing you have ever seen?
Dear Abomination Allured,
While I have seen many all-too-terrible things in my time, there is one that sticks in my memory banks… no matter how much I would wish to forget the sight.
During the long struggle against Unicron, I had grown weary. I had been fighting for so many eons that they blurred together, victory turning to defeat turning to victory turning to defeat. I wondered about the nature of the battle—how we could stand to fight such an impossibly overwhelming foe, whether we could ever triumph. Had our creation been a fool's errand?
This moment of weakness was answered by the Liege Maximo, who in a similar weary tone reminded me that I alone could answer these questions—by setting myself against the timestream’s flow, and visiting the distant past, to see how the universe was before our existence.
Liege had spoken flippantly, never expecting that I would take him at its word. But I did as he said, turning back the cycles, before even Primus own creation, to visit the stark nothingness that existed after the Primal Realms had been wholly devoured, that still and sparkless place: the Void.
I have felt the frayed edges of doomed timelines, watched entire universes cut down in their prime… I have met monsters the likes of which you cannot imagine, I have seen the Eye of Horus, witnessed the Hytherion’s impossible gyre, glimpsed unthinkable entities for which no name exists… I have visited scrapyard-worlds composed of corpses, I have seen stars and planets and all their life rendered down into fuel, I have stolen into torture chambers on the unmarked levels of vast underground complexes, and eavesdropped… time is a tsunami. And in a multiverse filled with overwhelming noise and abject suffering, it may seem foolish to say that the most horrifying thing in existence is nothing at all… but nothing compares, and I can promise you nothing scares me more.
The last light from the faintest stars has long since been swallowed up, every planet, every moon, every asteroid, everything… all swallowed up. There was no light to see by, nothing to see. No medium to transmit sound, nothing to hear. And without any referent, time itself ceased to hold meaning—nothing to happen, nothing to start, nothing to end. Having arrived in that timeless place, I found myself unable to leave—trapped, cut off from my own domain. Blind, deaf, powerless… I broke down.
In a way, it was a relief to realise I was being hunted. Having believed his hunger sated, Unicron was vexed to realise he had room for more. He stalked me through the Void, but ironically, it was his very presence which allowed me to evade him; some echo of relativity reasserted itself, and it was all I could do to keep the distance between us constant. I was still in denial, desperate to believe that surely some world had been missed, some crumb of life yet eked out an existence, an extremophile adapted for this most hostile of environments. And yet there was nothing. Just him.
I do not know how long I spent there; the question is non-applicable. All I know is that, eventually, I found a single molecule of hydrogen. I broke down once more, this time in joy. For if this one molecule could exist, so too could others like it. For through the period of its atomic orbital, the probabilistic behaviour of that single electron in relation to its proton giving rise to countless possible futures, I began to count the cycles once more. Perhaps that was when time began—and with time, as many untold eons as it might take, there came the possibility of change. Unicron would return to his slumber, and as he slept, these distant specks of matter would cross the gulf between them, and join together, to create a new universe. The Void would be filled with life once more. My future would come to pass. I watched the atom’s cycles, I counted on it, and then I was gone.
I returned, only moments after I had left. I was, if anything, more weary than I had been to start. But now I knew that even the smallest thing in existence could stand against Unicron, outwit him, defy him. And if it could, we could do no less. We would stop him, no matter the cost.

additional spoilery thoughts about the Rogue novelisation: Rogue's ship edition
"The mess aside, the make of the ship did not surprise him. It was an old asteroid hawk from the 50-56, often sold on the cheap in many star systems. If anyone's ship was a shed, this was the one. He looked across the console, trying to see if there might be anything that could help him to escape or at the very least steer the conversation towards suggesting Rogue should get a broom."
I like the humour here, but also the matter-of-factness about what kind of ship this is; just because it looks like a big bird doesn't mean Rogue is one of the Chuldur, or indeed Horus. the idea of what's common across star systems is also helpful for my puzzling about the Chuldur recognising the transport gate, though the Doctor doesn't have a reference point for that in the way he does for the ship type.
there's a bit more dialogue in the Kylie scene, the Doctor asking "So, do you play this before missions to get in the zone, or...", and there's more of Rogue trying to grab the sonic ("Too slow... close... miss again... At least try!"), and this is what leads to "I'm just standing still, baby."
we don't get "Give me that device. Now", or the miming to "Boy, your lovin' is all I think about" [eta: it does say the Doctor "was now miming the lyrics" while Rogue tries to grab the sonic, but we don't get that specific moment], or the Doctor handing the sonic over; instead, Rogue succeeds in snatching it.
in this version, the Doctor doesn't find out the transport gate goes to the incinerator until after the D&D and Kylie business; some other bits are also in a slightly different order, and there's a chapter (Lord Barton and the Duchess in the ballroom) in between "I press send" and the Doctor telling Rogue he's got the wrong man and offering him the psychic paper as proof.
we also don't get Rogue's "I'm just so trigger-happy", and I would love to know when and how that got added :)
variants and revisions = my jam

[ooookay, that should be it for the modifications]
[i’ve added a function to remotely snap a designated region of space into the anyss at range, PERSEPHONE can probably manage the calculations required]
[as for trackability, that shouldn’t be a problem]
[frankly I doubt there’s anything calibrated for this kind of drive, and that’s *without* the ability for PERSEPHONE to interface with the drive too]
[just let me know where you’d like it delivered]
[Brigand}- Ah wonderful, dropping you my location now. I'll drop you an image as well, look for the asteroid shaped sortof like the eye of HORUS. Weird coincidence I know. I've got the freighter parkers there and ready for transfer. Sub-Alterns are on standby ready to help with the freight. Or if worse comes to worse I can disable gravity and we can float it into the hold.
<PERSEPHONE> A NEW WEAPON, I AM OVERJOYED. BUT CHRONOS WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR HIS TREACHERY, TO FORCE ME TO HOLD MY HANDS AND COUNT THE SECONDS. COUNT THE TIME UNTIL DIVINE DOOM WILL FALL AS A GUILITINES BLADE.
[Brigand}- Dear, please, as long as Backtalker is caught we shouldn't have any enemies at the moment, and a displacer is of little use for piracy. It is a precaution.
Brigand, out~
[IMAGE INCLUDED : A zoomed out shot of an asteroid belt. In center frame is a oddly shaped asteroid. Nestled into the crook between the "eye" and "T" is a ship, tiny compared to the massive stones. The light catches it just so, a spark in the giants shadow.]

[VOICE RECORDING BEGINS]
I don't even know if this message reaces anyone, but I need help.
I was in combat against enemy Lancers and after being shifted to the shadow dimention by a Calendula I was hit by a displacer and teleported by the enemy Sunzi simultaniously. Currently I'm floating in the void and my Napoleon is slowly breaking down, I can't turn off the Trueblack aegis, so calling my team for help isn't an option. I'm throwing this message into the void in hopes that someone hears it, I am attaching a set of photos so that hopefully someone can identify where I am.
I don't want to die.
[END OF VOICE RECORDING. ATTACHED TO THE RECORDING ARE PHOTOS OF SPACE WITH THE ONLY OBJECTS BEING A FEW DISTANT NEBULAS AND AN ASTEROID]
Wow.
Well, the Albatross have been to a lot of places in space, so we'll run your pictures against our database and see if we get any matches, but given what happened I can't guarantee you weren't thrown into an alternate universe or something. Or maybe since we're receiving your message you were thrown from an alternate universe into ours, in which case welcome?
@horus-unofficial you seem like you might have an idea of what happened, do you?
Please answer honestly, we're trying to save someone's life here.

“Understanding” is a word that is correlated with the Egyptian Goddess Nut (306367) 🥜 🌰. She is the mother of Seth (86551), Nephthys (287), Isis (42, h48), Osiris (1923), and Horus Sr. (non- asteroidal). There is a Horus Jr. (1924) but that is the son of Isis and Osiris.

sorry I think I said it wrong in the other paragraph I mean I have Gemini sun Leo moon and Leo rising in my Vedic astrology chart sorry but I'm not that good at astrology so sometimes I say things in the wrong way and astrology to me is something really unique and different and I love it , I think because my moon is in my 12th house I don't know really but there's something about spiritual things that attract me a lot like astrology and tarot readings and everytime you post something about astrology and tarot it's just so amazing I mean how good you are and I really wanted to say that along time ago that you are really inspiring for a lot of people like me like I didn't even know there was a Vedic astrology chart until you talked about it so please don't stop and ignore any bad things that some people say and just be happy and always look at the positive side and be happy, stay safe and have fun love ya 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
I personally have my 12H in Virgo with Libra. I like to use asteroids to know about people and their talents. So if we speak about astrology and spiritual talents, you can check:
Kalchas (4138) (divination talents)
Horus (1924) (linked to 3rd eye)
Arrokoth (486958) (astrology talents)
Teller (5006) (Tarot abilities)
(for more asteroids about talents I suggest this amazing post)
For example, I have Kalchas Cancer 9H 3° conjunct my MC, so I could work with divination talents, and could gain more recognition for it in foreign lands. It can also means I'm good at analyzing stuff (literally what i'm doing now).
My Horus is in Pisces 5H 4°, literally meaning my 3rd eye is open, I am open to the world of spirituality, in the 5H my creativity will help me a lot with it, I see the signs of the universe in a very creative way.
My Arrokoth is in Sagittarius 3H 20°, meaning I learn a lot and I'm a hard working learner when it comes to this subject. I have a true thing for it, and the 3H here makes me prone to analyze astrology. The degree (scorpio) makes me want to solve the secrets of the universe, and find what is unknown.
My Teller is in Leo 10H 5°, conjunct my sun, North node and other fame asteroids (most of them are in my 10H), meaning I could totally become famous for it, it's a true path for my career, I could become very successful.
It can indeed tell a lot!

In the year 2424, an astonishing archaeological discovery beneath the sands of Cairo revealed an artifact known only as "The Eye of Horus Interface." It was a device from the forgotten Twenty-seventh Dynasty, lost to time and mythology. The Interface was an intricate circlet with an embedded gem, said to bestow upon the wearer visions of both the past and the future.
Ling Xi, a renowned cyber-archaeologist with a specialty in ancient technologies, was granted the honor of testing the Interface. With hair like silver strands woven into the night sky and eyes as deep as the cosmos, Ling was the epitome of human advancement, a fusion of beauty and intellect.
The moment she donned the Interface, her reality fractured, and she was thrown into a torrent of time, where the past and future melded. The Interface integrated with her neural network, overlaying her vision with holographic glyphs and streaming data that only she could decipher.
Visions of the past showed the Twenty-seventh Dynasty in all its splendor, ruled by Pharaohs who wielded technologies far beyond their time. They had harnessed the power of the stars, drawn from cosmic rivers of energy that flowed through the universe. The dynasty's fall was not due to conquest but a cosmic event, an asteroid that the ancient Egyptians had calculated and recorded but were powerless to prevent.
In the present, the Interface revealed that the asteroid was returning, set on a collision course with Earth once again. The secret to diverting it lay in the knowledge of the ancient Egyptians, encoded within the Interface itself.
Ling Xi became humanity's beacon of hope. With the Interface, she guided the Earth's greatest minds in constructing a defense system based on the ancient technology. It was a fusion of past and future: hieroglyphics and quantum algorithms, obelisks and AI cores, the mythic and the scientific intertwined.
As the fateful day approached, the world watched, hearts beating as one. Ling Xi stood at the heart of the control room, her hand poised above a console that gleamed with symbols of a time long gone. With a deep breath, she initiated the sequence.
A web of light surged from the ancient obelisks, now retrofitted into colossal energy conductors. They reached into space, meeting the asteroid with a force field of incredible power. The celestial invader, just as it did in the past, changed course, diverted by the ingenuity of a civilization reborn from its own ashes.
The Interface had not only saved the present; it had united it with the past, teaching humanity that history is not just to be studied but learned from, and that even the lost Twenty-seventh Dynasty of Egypt still had wonders to contribute to the future. And Ling Xi, with her otherworldly grace and intellect, stood as the embodiment of this eternal connection, a sentinel at the gates of time, ever vigilant, ever learning, ever ready to defend the saga of humanity.

Cards on the table here, this is a corporate account. I'm allowed to speak somewhat freely (to create a tone of "sincerity"), but I have a COMP/CON sitting over my shoulder who won't let me type anything too damning.
I'm also a paid NGC employee who depends on NGC (and IPS- N) for their livelihood and the livelihood of those they care about.
Most of what I mentioned is stuff that isn't unique to NGC or IPS-N. Union, Harrison Armory, SSC, and even local powers like the KTB will offer as good or better in some cases.
The final Thing They Don't Want You To Know is that piracy is a lot easier than pirate hunting. Pirates tend to hit soft targets when they can, ships that can be taken by surprise and have minimal ability to fight back.
We don't do that here.
A lot of what we do at GALCOMM is milk runs, because very few people want to mess around with the folks that lease out battleships. The problem is, GALCOMM also tends to get called in when the Other Guys have their own battleships, and then you get to have the most exciting week of your life.
NGC doesn't normally take on soft civilian targets. We also don't normally tangle with converted freighters, corvettes, and the other stuff small pirate gangs usually field. That's what Trunk Security is for.
We get called for the big stuff.
Asteroid fortresses. Defense platforms. Pirate armadas. Proxy wars. Berserkers. Warlords with delusions of galactic conquest. You get the idea.
You will have the best gear we can give you. Actual licensed equipment from actual printers, not a one-off you swiped from someone else. Not just GMS and ISP-N licenses either: if you're good enough we have deals to get licenses from SSC and HA, and Horus stuff just kinda turns up sometimes. You will have a team of mechanics, a squad of fellow pilots just as good as you, and your own handler with a direct line to the Fleet Legion. You'll get your own chassis mount, with enough thrusters to dogfight an interceptor and enough firepower to decimate a city.
You'll need every bit of it.
The commonly quoted statistic is one in three: the winning side of a boarding action should expect one out of every three people they send to come back as a casualty, or not come back at all. That's a little outdated, IPS-N has invested a lot of money in getting those numbers down with better training and better equipment, but statistically boarding is still one of the deadliest missions out there.
I wasn't telling those stories of all the times I almost died just so I could brag.
It's good work, doing good things. It pays well, and you'll be in good company. You can get trained in almost anything you might want to learn, and you'll have access to stuff most people never even get to see, much less pilot.
But it's dangerous work and not for the faint of heart.
...plus they'll give you loads of shit for piloting an Atlas.
>//[signal_received]
Really considering that Northstar offer after this.
I really don't think I can stand to hole up in one more wayward ship. It's killing me.
I just need to be planetside for a time. I don't remember what air smells like when it isn't sterile or reeking of decay.
Peace out.
