bro would absolutely be the type to be silent about his relationship with you, so people either find out through seeing him with you, or minji happily going around telling everyone she has a mom now.

my headcanon is that this man has horrible alcohol tolerance. one shot with hansu and jincheong is enough to make him red in the face. the first time he came home drunk, you thought he was kind of cute intoxicated and secretly filmed him the entire night tripping over thin air and arguing with the soap

would insist on carrying all your bags. it's rare for you to go on a shopping spree, but even if you're going out for your routinely grocery run, he would insist on carrying all the bags, including your purse, even if you keep insisting he let you carry something.

this gentleman finally relents and lets you carry the bag of chips home LMFAO

now let's talk about his... less than ideal background.

if you were totally oblivious about his past, he would feel a mix of relief and worry, because he's happy that you don't know about his shady history, but also worried that one day you would find out about it, and possibly leave him. let's be real, with the humongous target on his back, someone is bound to find out he has a wife and harm you.

he would never admit it to you, but in the end you'd find out anyways. there's no way the two of you could go your entire lives without finding out every little detail of each other's past, pretty or not.

let's just say you found out through someone ambushing your house when manager kim wasn't home to try and kidnap you. but of course, your husband, having installed silent alarms in every corner of your shared apartment, immediately came racing back to grab you and swoop you into a safe house in the blink of an eye.

he had explained everything to you, saying that if you didn't want to stay with him he would completely understand and accept it.

poor boy was so confused when you burst into tears and hugged him and called him an idiot. he genuinely didn't believe anybody normal would want to be with him even though he basically told them he used to be a ruthless war machine.

after you had calmed down, you had explained that you were disappointed that he thought so little of himself, and you were also really sad because you realized where all the scars littered across his body had come from, and it broke your heart to think that he had gone through so much pain during his time in the military.

after that whole fiasco, you treated his scars more tenderly than ever.

you would trace the bullet scars and lines on his upper body with care and softness as you lay in bed together, and he can't help but think that some good has come out of coming clean to you after all

but let's say that you knew about his past, maybe because you were a part of his squad back in the days.

but seriously, i feel like he would feel more at ease whenever he leaves the house to go on a mission because he knows you can protect yourself and minji if the need arises, even if he would still get anxious and worried for your safety.

tbh i feel like you probably caught his eye because you kicked his ass a couple of times when sparring lol

he would like the fact that he could come home in the dead of the night, covered in blood from head to toe, and not have to fumble for an excuse to tell you

nightmare bonding is real bc the two of you have probably gone through some extremely traumatic things in your early days, and of course it's going to leave a lasting impact on both of you.

some nights, the two of you would wake up sweating and shivering after reliving those moments, or seeing your dead comrades, and can silently comfort each other as you both steady your breathing and calm yourselves down

definitely would bring the two of you closer together than ever

let's talk about what manager kim would be like if he's jealous!

would be the type to subtly swoop in and enter whatever conversation you were having with the poor guy, remaining calm and collected, though he made sure he dropped hints left and right.

"ah yes, my wife owns that dress..." "my wife loves the tteokbokki at that restaurant..." "my wife... my wife..."

and when the dude finally gets the hint and backs off, you're always left feeling amused as you watch your husband stare at the guy as he walks off, a stoic look on his face, though you can always feel the triumph radiating off him.

and let's just say the guy doesn't get the hint, and instead keeps implying that you can do so much better than what you have right now. you smile awkwardly, reassuringly interlacing your fingers with his, but it's not enough for the cold stare to drop from manager kim's face.

spoiler alert: that guy either dies or he leads a very unlucky life afterwards

after you and him part ways with the annoying guy (you have to politely excuse yourselves with a lame excuse), manager kim is always left feeling slightly insecure and ashamed of himself. the guys that hit on you are always younger, always richer, always better looking. why would you want to stay with a broke, single father like him anyways? his secret fear comes back into play as these thoughts eat him alive

it doesn't take much to make him forget his worries - just reassure him and comfort him and pamper him, but if a few days go by without you noticing the shame and insecurities eating him away, it might cause him putting some distance between the two of you because he thinks he's not worthy of your love

besides his self-degradation, this man is one of the best men in manager kim to end up with because you know he's going to do whatever he can to ensure you live comfortably, with little to no fears or worries whatsoever. 10/10.

p.s. bro would defo be the type to get hit on by older women when he goes to parent-teacher meetings. and going back to how he wouldn't outright talk about his marriage, none of the women would ever know he was married, until they saw you come in place of your husband, who was on a 'work trip' (that was not true, he went to another city to murder some gang), and needless to say, the women never bothered manager kim ever again.

hi <3 this ask is months old <3 but i am answering it now teehee

SO. TMA SAW AU (disclaimer: i have only seen the first two movies so idk if these are very like. film accurate style traps)

basically it's just. what if a saw movie happened to the archive gang. they're all in one big space that's like a big trap in the sense that they all have the same time limit but they all get their own little traps also <3 the breakdown is this:

Jon is gagged with a camera in his mouth that he cannot remove without a key, it's strapped to his face with horrible rusted metal, y'know. Once time runs out, the battery powering the camera will leak down his throat killing him so so painfully <3 He cannot speak and must find other ways to communicate with the others.

Sasha has what is essentially a VR headset strapped to her head and she can't remove that without a key either. The headset is showing her the live feed from Jon's camera, so she essentially has to see through his eyes the entire time. When time runs out, two big ol' spikes will stab her in the eyes and give her a good ol' fashioned impromptu lobotomy <3

Tim's trap is a bit different from the others'. Instead of a contraption, he was injected with a paralytic prior to the gang waking up, and is paralyzed from the waist down. He needs a key to obtain the antidote for the paralytic. Rather than having a specific time when he suddenly dies, he's essentially either relying on the others to help him move/get the key/antidote for him, or he needs to move himself despite his paralysis in order to live. So when time runs out, it's either find a way to move anyway or wait for the paralytic to travel further through his body and kill him slowly after experiencing many terribly side effects (hypotension, bronchospams, and renal failure)

Martin is even more different. His trap is less about his death and more about saving the others. He's placed in a big freezer where he basically needs to find the others' keys in blocks of ice (joshua gillespie core) and if he doesn't, they'll definitely die. He also has the option of finding the key to unlocking his own door and simply escaping without saving the others. He also also has the option of only taking some keys, but not all. He will know which will save who, and gets to choose. The trap itself isn't that difficult, but there's A Lot Of Ice, and it's Really Cold and he's Already Been There A While so there's a chance of dying of hypothermia if he can't find the keys fast enough (or if he spends the time finding the others' keys after he's found his own).

Jon, Tim, and Sasha all wake up in the same room together. Jon wakes up first and is able to watch a video tape explaining what's going on, but it can't be watched more than once, so he has to explain what's happening to the others without being able to speak. He can't speak, only play charades and listen.

Sasha isn't able to see except through Jon's eyes, so he has to rely on the two of them to make sure she's not walking into more danger. She also is unable to understand any of Jon's explanations since a lot of it is through body language and She Can't See That, so they have to work together so she can watch Tim translate. She can't see through her own eyes and is forced to watch through someone else's.

Tim either has to trust that the others will come back for him (and that they won't die somewhere in this building) or get them to carry him around, slowing them down but giving him more of a chance at survival. He either has to take action, or simply wait and trust.

Martin has to make a choice between risking what's left of his life for other people (some of which who don't care about him), or saving himself. Even if the others find the room he's in, it's locked from the inside so it is entirely on Martin to save both himself and everyone else. Not only do the others have to rely on each other, but they all have to rely on Martin. The door will lock behind him when he leaves, so if he doesn't get everyone's keys, then whoever is left without one will die.

idk if these traps are entirely fitting for all their character's and flaws and whatnot, but for the research trio i thought it'd be fun to do an audio/vigilo/opperior with them and then martin gets to play god suddenly lol.

"Are you okay to fight?" Miles asked, grimacing at you and even more so at the look you gave him.

"I think I'm dying, Miles!" You yelled, holding your side in the pain as Miles tried to help stop the bleeding.

"Don't die! You can't die!" Miles said once more, trying to convince himself more than your blood piled beneath you.

"Why not? I'm gonna anyway!" You bickered back, much less concerned for your wound than Miles.

"Because I still have something to still tell you!" Miles tried once more, his own small tears in the corners of his eyes at the thought.

He couldn't lose you.

"Tell me then! What's the point of holding it in now?!" You continued on, shaking your head as your hand was almost coated red.

"I can't!"

"Why not?!"

"Because I'm scared you won't like it." Miles revealed, shaking his head as you gave a look of disbelief.

"Who cares! I'm dying." You countered.

"I like you! I've liked you since we were kids! And I don't want you to die because I'm scared!" Miles yelled back, looking down at his hands as they both tried to stop the blood, making it better, somewhat.

Miles then noticed his mistake, not able to take back his words but instead being able to slowly look up at you, grimacing at himself.

You couldn't help but stare at Miles, barely believing your ears, much less now.

Much less with the boy you had liked since you were kids.

"...you like me?"

"...yeah."

Miles stared at you for a moment, like the world went away as he took in your face as you spoke.

And suddenly, Miles laughed.

Miles laughed hard, the tears in his eyes turned to relief as he laughed. As your best friend, and maybe now more, laughed, you couldn't help but join in.

Miles then took a moment, turning it over in his head before he launched forward, bringing you in closer to him.

You and Miles stared at each other, closer than normal, then suddenly, you couldn't help but lean in and kiss him, one you wanted to do for so long.

The kiss wasn't long, but it was waited for, dreamt about and slow and passionate, lips moving together almost like they were meant to be.

Miles pulled away, not away from you but away enough he could laugh, smiling in victory.

"Have you wanted to do that for as long as I have waited to do that?" You laughed at the both of you, and so did Miles as he nodded.

"Yeah. Yeah I have." Miles shook his head, the same smile there as he hugged you, arms around your waist as he almost pulled you into his lap, but stopped.

"Ow, ow, ow!" You cried out, punching his arm, cause even if you liked each other, you were still best friends, and friends hit.

"I'm sorry! Shit! I'm sorry!" Miles cried out, wincing as he looked at the blood on his arm, wiping it away quickly.

"We gotta get you out of here." Miles said, tucking his arm under yours and starting to lift you to your feet, a bit too rough at your circumstances.

Rant about AHS Coven ship(s).

Since yall love my based rants so much, I have another quarrel.

I love feisty queers with homoerotic friendships just as much as the next person, but can we please STOP shipping Zoe and Madison?

It’s not because I don’t see the vision, or don’t like the idea of the ship or yada yada.

It’s because Madison is ABUSIVE. Even to Zoe. Especially to Zoe.

Madison abuses Zoe’s boyfriend by having sex with him in front of her so she can get jealous of the fact that Madison was with him.

Madison forces Zoe into a threesome when she clearly doesn’t want to, and she only gives in when Kyle gives out his hand to her. And in the same scene clearly taunts Zoe by saying they could “share” Kyle, despite knowing Zoe has feelings for him, and even saying she knows in that same moment. Yet she still brings up the idea and drags her out of the bathroom to have sex.

Madison mind controlled Kyle and made him do awful things in front of Zoe just to spite/ upset her.

Madison verbally berates her boyfriend and calls him things like “boy toy/ candy” and “ken doll”. And it’s not even just what she does to Kyle.

She ignored Zoe’s distress in seeing the bodies of the accident. She disregards her feelings after she accidentally killed Kyle, even though she knew Zoe cared.

She let Zoe die even though bringing her back could prove that she is the next supreme, which is what she wanted.

I know there could be an argument that “oh, she’s just upset she likes Kyle and is trying to make her jealous” or “that’s just her personality and she secretly likes her” or something along those lines, but you are excusing the fact that Madison is meant to be an abusive and destructive character to justify your queer ship.

There are plenty of characters inside and out of Coven who you could headcannon as queer that aren’t the two people who hate each other the most, let alone w/ one who abuses the other and everyone around them straight up.

Like Misty Day and Cordelia could be plausible, in my eyes. Marie Laveau and Fiona are also a great example in my eyes. They even teamed up together and put aside their quarrels to defeat a common enemy. Both are users of/ without men, strong, independent and clearly have chemistry.

In summary:

Madison is cunty, but she’s also a cunt.

Please stop shipping queer abusive relationships. Madison and Zoe are so toxic together even if it looks like an attractive pairing.

Even if they were together, it would be a horrible relationship.

I’d totally be for it if she actually had some sort of redemption arch, but she’s practically the exact same even all the way through apocalypse.

Zoe deserves better than Madison, at the very least.

TW: talk of OCD, intrusive thoughts, saliva, harming children

Disclaimer: If you feel you experience intrusive thoughts, consult a medical professional. This is not a replacement for therapy and I am not an expert, just someone with OCD talking about his experiences. I support self diagnosis but please do not diagnose yourself off of this post.

What is OCD?

I think everyone knows it stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder but what does that mean?

Well the main premise is an obsessive thought followed by a compulsion to “fix” the thought. Okay well what does that mean?

Here’s an example from my own experience.

The thought: I just shook hands with someone. They definitely had germs on their hand and now they’re on my hand. I’m going to catch a deadly disease from this person and die.

The compulsion: Washing my hands until the skin is red and raw.

If you don’t have OCD, you probably would just assume what we do makes no sense. You would be mostly correct. However, it makes sense to us. For someone who has OCD, these thoughts terrorize our every waking moment. We cannot go through a day without having an obsessive thought and needing to do something about it. Whether that thing makes any sense logically or not, is not important to us. It’s real for us.

I typically struggle with symmetry obsessions and contamination obsessions.

The way symmetry obsessions present is that I have to determine the exact middle of pretty much everything and blink when I find it. When I’m on the road, it’s typically telephone poles or whatever my brain determines is important. I don’t really have intrusive thoughts about this, it’s more immense discomfort and a horrible feeling of dread if I don’t do it. I also have to eat exactly the same amount on each side of my mouth. Say I have two green gummy bears and one orange. The green both go on opposites sides and I eat them simultaneously. The orange either gets my middle front teeth or I give it to someone else.

With contamination, it presented differently when I was a child and teen with obsessive hand washing and carrying around hand sanitizer with me. Unfortunately, I also experienced trauma related to this obsession and it changed to reflect the trauma. I cannot handle the idea of saliva. I just can’t. Sometimes it even applies to my own inside my own body. I can’t finish drinks in any container because I know that some of the liquid at the bottom is most likely saliva. Yes, it’s my own. I also cannot drink or eat after anyone. The idea that even tiny particles of saliva are on whatever they touched feels catastrophic to me. Sometimes I am able to kiss people, but if I’m having a particularly bad OCD day, I can’t. As listed above, this is partially due to the fear of disease and germs but it also has to do with the trauma I experienced.

Intrusive thoughts

This is where OCD tends to be the most misunderstood and stigmatized.

Intrusive thoughts are unwanted thoughts or mental images that make the person experiencing them distressed. Being upsetting is a requirement for an intrusive thought. If it is not upsetting, it’s not intrusive. They can also come with disorders that aren’t OCD but I am not knowledgeable on which ones.

Examples include: horrific images of loved ones dying, thoughts of harming others, or sexual imagery (must be unwanted).

Before I explain some of my intrusive thoughts, I must reinforce that intrusive thoughts are ALWAYS unwanted. They are things you would never want to happen and never do.

TW: intrusive thoughts of harming children for next paragraph

Some of my intrusive thoughts involve the fear of me hurting children or being a p*do. As a person who has experience sexual trauma, some of which while I was a child/young, these thoughts are the worst. Once I have this thought, my day is basically over. I can’t do anything that day and I absolutely cannot interact with a child. I tend to avoid children because I am scared I will hurt them. If I come across a child, these thoughts typically cross my mind and I need to walk away. “Was I creepy?” “Did I want to do something to that child?” I didn’t talk about these thoughts for years because I was terrified I was a bad person for having them. That I actually was a p*do and I needed to be far away from children. While I still feel this way sometimes as the nature of the disorder, I know in my heart that I am not bad. I love children and I want some in the future. I want to experience the ups and down of parenthood and I deserve to get that experience regardless of my disorder.

To people who don’t have OCD: The people you love with OCD deserve for you to be kind to them. Their disorder does not make them scary or unlovable. They are deserving of compassion, especially when they’re struggling.

To people with OCD: I love you. You are not weird or evil. I believe in you and I care for you. You are doing so great.

My Marauders Ranking. Best to WORST.

Alright. Since, I asked y’all to rank the Marauders a while ago I will do so as well now!

Alright at number one we have Remus. He’s similar to Severus in the way that he was poor, an outcast, and he was a Halfblood. Joined a group of people (that weren’t the best influencers) to feel accepted and appreciated. Wanted. All that stuff. He actually got that but was too much of a coward to speak his mind about the bullying he didn’t agree with supposedly. Though I do understand that point since like Sev he was poor, a Halfblood and pretty much friendless without the Marauders so he was probably scared they’d bully him to if he “betrayed” James.

At number two we got Sirius. Sirius seems like an immature idiotic dude. He seems easily manipulated and like someone that trusts people blindly. I dunno. That’s just the vibes I got from him. He also has similarities to Severus. For instance both were friends to one of Harry’s parents and both helped out Harry in their own way. Two sides of the same coin I suppose. But Sirius was definitely an idiot unlike Severus- (at least in my opinion) he almost killed Sev. Maybe he didn’t realize Sev could probably die or maybe he did. But either way he’s an idiot because he obviously didn’t think of the consequences of his actions and expected his friend who he used for this terrible act to be fine with it. Like what??? Where is this man’s braincells???

At number three we have Peter. I don’t particularly like him. He was a coward and he betrayed his friends. He didn’t really care for them not like how the Marauders fandom portrays him anyways. Maybe he did care but. He cared more about power, authority and control more. He joined James and the others for what could be offered to him. Once he met someone stronger than James he left, betrayed them and got James killed. That isn’t a friend I would want around me. He’s that toxic ‘friend’ that stays in the friend group and the group chats collecting information on everyone there to give to your ex’s or ex friends or bullies for money or whatever. A fake.

In last place. We have James. I said before Sirius seemed like someone easy to manipulate. Who else would do something like that besides James? It’s not stated in canon that James manipulated Sirius and the others HOWEVER. If we look at each of their situations- it’s pretty much likely he did. But that’s only by my interpretation of what I saw. Now, another reason why he’s at the bottom of the list. He bullied multiple students including Severus. Made a map to stalk people (mainly Severus), harassed, S*xually assaulted/harassed another student (Severus), attempted to blackmail Lily to date him, threatened others, lied to his wife, went out of the house to hangout with his friends instead of being smart and staying home and helping to take care of Harry until Dumbledore took away his invisibility cloak, etc etc. This man is not a good guy in any way. I’m just going to say this now. If he didn’t die. If Lily didn’t die. If they were together and took care of Harry for those ten years before he went to Hogwarts. James would be a horrible father. Neglectful. Maybe even physically abusive. Neglectful is very much implied with how he left Lily to take care of Harry while he snuck out to hangout with Sirius and likely the others as well while in hiding. Abusive is implied from his actions towards others and even how he treated Lily before they dated. Threatening to continue the bullying on her best friend unless she dated him. The mission to destroy Cassandra Nova was not going to be easy. Despite Wade's excitement to, and i quote verbatim 'absolutely shred some fucking skulls' it turns out I would end up siding with Logan, who also felt strongly that this was a horrible idea.

"You are going to get killed." I put my head in my hands.

"It's worth it, we'd rather die doing this than die here like cowards" Elektra scoffed.

I glared at her and stood up. The floorboards beneath me creaked eerily as I strode toward elektra with a slit eyes.

I watched the woman gulp. "No, I called him a coward. He's the one forcing you to stay here," she pointed at Logan, who furrowed his brows and expelled his long silver claws from both hands.

A coward?

A fucking coward?

I held up my hand, and within an instant, it began to transform into a long knife. From my wrist to the top of my head was a silver blade.

I wish I could say I had a cool name for it. But I don't. I'm just a human katana.

"I'm sure your a great person, but unless you want to start drinking through a fucking straw I suggest you apologize"

The room was silent. I felt as if i had ruined their moment, but I didn't care.

"Sorry, you're not a coward." she rolled her eyes and walked off.

I retracted my hand blade, but Logan still held his own out, the shining metal claws protruding ominously as he stood in the light of the window.

I turned around and looked at everyone.

"Motherfucker that was scary as shit. I almost cut off my own dick to stop you doing it with that fucking thing"

Even Wade's joke couldn't stop my anger. I wasn't going with them. They were all going to die anyways. I'd rather hear of it than be there to watch it.

Yes, it's death. Yes, it's watching life drain from a person. But it can be the loss of your life together too and the loss of their love and their voice, how their breathing sounds and how they laugh.

The years at the TVA were not as smooth going as I had initially hoped. Each day was something new, another disaster. I had even written a list of the reoccurring people, the ones that we could basically never get rid of.

Monday: always scarlet witch. Always so tattered and torn, shivering with heartbreak and anger of grief.

Tuesday: Loki's. Loki's of every kind. Ragnarok Loki's, TVA Loki's, jotun Loki's even.

Wednesday: Perhaps the most shattering of all, we would get iron man variants quite often. Sometimes, a zombie sometimes just before the blip. Most times, it was before he built the iron Man suit at all.

Thursdays: Captain America. Now, these were tough ones. Their were a fucking lot of these. Zombie ones, soldier ones, ones still frozen somehow. Pre serum ones. Ones where he works for HYDRA. Those are the scariest ones, the red skull Steve Rogers is not for the faint hearted.

Fridays: Fridays were... well Friday.

I sat outside the hut as the others geared up for their mission. Logan had come with me, but he didn't say much. My Logan talked way too much, so it was awkward hearing him be so silent.

"Your not going?" I spoke.

"Nah. I don't have the fucking patience for it"

A small moment of silence ensued before Logan spoke again.

"That hand thing you can do," he started. "Is it all over you?"

I scratched my neck and yawned. "To be honest, I've never thought of it"

I looked at my legs and stretched them out. "If I could have knife legs it would sure make walking interesting" I laughed

Logan beside me chuckled. God, he even laughs like him.

"I thought I was the only one who had this kind of power," he said as he brought out one of his claws.

"I thought I used to be as well. Your claws are made of adamantium aren't they? Well your entire skeleton is isn't it?"

He replied with a hum. "So what's yours then? Stainless steel?" He joked

I laughed at his words. "No. Actually, it's Vibranium"

"Vibranium, huh? What's that like a vibrating metal?"

It occurred to me then and there that this Logan doesn't know about the multiverse.

"No, it's uh, one of the earths strongest metals. like from wakanda?" I smiled nervously.

Apparently, something in him ticked off as I said that. He grew out the rest of his claws on his hand and pushed me against the tree behind me with one swift move. I was crushed between adamantium spikes and a rough tree.

He scowled at me.

"You will never be my wife." He spat

Venom laced the air around us. Encasing me in a bubble of fear.

"You might look like her and talk like her, hell you even fucking smell like her, that stupid fucking flower scent. Follows you around like a lost puppy"

The hate in his eyes grew each word. "You are not my fucking wife and I don't give a single fuck about what happened in your universe, whether you saved my life or not, I hope in every single one of them, you fucking die"

note: as i got farther into this, i realized i sound quite angry. So, to be clear, i am angry at jason & his worldview at this moment. I am not angry at deverell or his worldview or whatever or that jason has these thoughts or that this is where his character is & will maybe progress further down this path. I am simply upset (but like in that way you get at books where its not true upset but like a kinda fun kinda angry cause theres no stakes?) at jason’s thoughts. SO, STILL LOVING THE BOOKS. HERE IS MY RANT.

okay, like bro. Jason. No. First of all, i know that normal rank people dont have a lot of power & thus dont have a lot of say in big picture things. But theyre not slaves to destiny & the whims of circumstance. Not completely. I feel like when he was talking about the elven victims, he was thinking of them as having no choices moving forward. And for some of them, no, they won’t. Because they’ll won’t be mentally capable of making choices. But that’s not true for all. And i feel like the whole “without overwhelming power, you’ll never have a choice in your life” is being taken to a little bit of an extreme in jason’s thinking. Because everyone has choices. It’s hard. And sometimes those choices are just am I going to die screaming or die silent. But i feel like saying that no one has choices without power is looking over what i wanna call “small kindnesses” making small choices to make other prople’s lives better. All of those people who taught jason to cook? Small kindness. Did he probably pay them back with labor? Yes. But taking the time to teach some random guy to make food is a small kindness. Jory’s clinic is a big example of a small kindness. He didn’t have to do that. It wasn’t profitable. And it was actively dangerous due to the church of the healer. But he still did it. To help people. That man in the first town in greenstone who fought off shabs without a full set of essences? Another big example of a small kindness. Most people are just doing their best with what they have. And it sucks that jason is trying to invalidate choices that they make by saying that they don’t have control over their lives & that nothing they do matters in the grand scheme of things. And that second one is true! But it matters to them and those around them.

NOW AS FOR THE “SACRIFICES”. This reeeeeeaaaaally pissed me off. Let’s start with what i would call less egregious: kaito, greg, and asya’s deaths. Also the death of anyone else that had a very personal impact on jason. People he knew and cared for.

now, for some words directly to jason who is not real: These people did not die so that you could get power jason. Jason i am grabbing you by the cheeks. Jason do you understand that while they died due to your enemies, they did not get “sacrificed” for you to use them like soul fuel. They didnt sacrifice themselves in any way! They simply died in a truly horrible murder. Please understand this.

back to the rant. THE PEOPLE OF MAKASSAR DID NOT SACRIFICE THEMSELVES TO YOU!! OR FOR YOU!! SAME FOR BROKEN HILL!! Not only is this view extremely selfish, it also invalidates those deaths and those tragedies as all about jason. You cannot make those deaths about you, jason. They were horrific, but only those who lived are at all about you. Be proud & happy about that. You can feel sad for the deaths, but you cannot feel that they died for you.

and part of that is that they probably died for each other. A mother distracting a monster whose kids survived because of her. Neighbors helping each other out of wreckage and pushing each other out of the way of things. Attempting to kill the monsters, not because they thought they’d succeed, but to buy time. Some people did sacrifice themselves. And those people can feel guilty all they want. but you do not get to. Because that is not your hurt to feel. anywho! As always, pls no spoilers!

Been boycotting limbus but it's a bit disheartening seeing everyone continue around me with this passing intl women's day. I don't know how to convince my friends to stop without getting into an argument because they're all knee deep into these games. But my real question was.. why? These people are boycotting other products for other things, why are they so adamant with sticking on this when it's proven to have harmed so many people in the small team that made it?

Had a discussion with one who is boycotting and I feel like that "political correctness" seeps into the themes of the game, actually, despite how people tout it as the ultimate anti capitalist game; The City is suffering, workers gruel and die at the whims of corporate overlords, people struggle to find housing, and whatever the fuck Carmen's doing in the light, while it could help people survive longer, is just giving everyone guns ignoring the power structures underneath. It's very strange to me now there's.. no suggestion of uprooting the system at all in the games. No true strikes or protests or even any mentions of unions as far as I know. There's no effort to change what is given

which is very strange and kind of sad? Like sure maybe an arbiter or something would come and tear it down but surely people would come up with countermeasures? People are really good at adapting around things out of desperation, and surely at least an effort would be mentioned

And then my friend, she suggested something; without project moon's suffering, there would be no project moon. Without the city, project moon can't make games. To end the hell that the characters are in and truly resolve the city's hypercapitalist dystopia, they must stop making money off of them. But they don't want to. They definitely DO want to make more games, noted by the interviews which mention future game concepts such as the distortion detective visual novel. But in order to do so, they must keep the current games "clean" and consistent in their suffering to perpetuate conflict. There is some commentary about capitalism to be had; but it feels more like a "oh, look, people are dying, this is so sad" layer of paint on it at this point rather than something more in depth and meaningful. And I think in enforcing this sort of "we can't fix the system in any meaningful way, let's just live our lives instead and hope something better happens" mindset, it reflects into the players. Kind of ironic how the anti capitalism game must sustain its own horrible systems internally so the owners of the series can: make more money through a very predatory money making system, no less!

Limbus fans don't give a fuck about feminism in kr, they think its a system they cant help fixing so they just play the game as they please and any attempt to disuade them is met with a "stop ruining my fun!!" And "who cares?" The worst ones are the ones who KNOW their money is being funneled into stupid misogynistic shit but don't care! It's insane! I've never seen this level of apathy towards a serious issue before!

Project moon's characters are some of my favorites but you have to admit the themes are surface level shit at some point, especially in later installments of their games. yeah regarding your first point about fans that keep playing, back in August there was a discussion on this blog here regarding contemporary fandom “culture”- how it makes dropping a piece of media hard for some people and why they feel so quick to defend it. the nature of gacha is also that it gets you into the habit of doing “dailies” which makes them harder to drop, this is not even mentioning sunk cost fallacy. I’ve seen a recent post on the FGO subreddit asking why people still play the game and the top posts by a longshot were ones saying only because they spent so much time and money on it. For a lot of people (even people who think themselves progressives) misogyny is a non-issue as well so they will not take the situation in South Korea that seriously to begin with. This is in addition to it happening to “other” or “foreign” women in the eyes of the western fan. There is also an aggressive “fuck you, I’ve got mine” attitude some of the fans who want to keep playing have in regards to these women. It’s disturbing to watch happen but unfortunately not uncommon. I find some of the worst of it, in this situation specifically, is when westerners try to tell Korean women (who are boycotting and spreading information) that they are the ones spreading misinfo, or there’s no reason for them to boycott, how it’s not that bad for them, how PM actually didn’t do anything wrong, “both sides” are crazy and wrong, “let people enjoy things”, shit like that. like doesn’t it raise any flags for you that the people most affected by PM’s actions, Korean women, deleted entire accounts of fanart, took back fanmade items from PM’s cafe, started a boycott of LC and made posts in english to try and get the word out to international fans? you must think they’re idiots if you believe this is all some misunderstanding and vellmori quit of her own free will. Come on. imo it’s impossible to make any meaningful statement critiquing capitalism when you’re writing it in a game that uses one of the most exploitive types of gambling mechanics. I hope I don’t have to explain to anyone why this is absurd. You don’t need to expose young people to gambling addictions in order to fund new games. At the same time, things an author writes (or things that the reader infers from the writing) do not always reflect their ideologies or actions in real life and they can sometimes seemingly be at odds with one another. This is something fans have to reckon with, and not just by saying “actually hatsune miku made limbus company” or whatever. Personally, I can’t take PM’s “anti capitalist” or “feminist” or “revolutionary” work seriously when in reality they have mistreated employees, sued labor unions, acquiesced to incel demands and then later added a meme into the game from that incel community. On the other hand people struggle to believe Project Moon could do anything wrong like this because of the stories in their games so they vehemently defend PM, which at some point just feels naïve. well hopefully this is the type of answer/discussion you were looking for lol thanks for writing 👍

Random Heathers Headcannons

These all take place in an AU where JD be more chill and decides that murder and slushies are not in fact the best ways to deal with mental illness and goes see a therapist, also Modern Times and PolyHeathers+V

The Heathers + Veronica have lots of money after Chandler and Duke's parents die in a "freak accident"

So maybe JD didn't fully shed his homicidal tendencies, just turned them on people who actually deserved it bc they were all shitty people who traumatized people he begrudgingly cares about

Big Bud Dean also mysteriously dies around this time in a freak accident involving being in a building right before it blows up

Being the only children of rich assholes whose family abandoned them for petty rich people reasons means they inherit the mansions and money, meaning the four of them can live in peace and don't have to get jobs unless they really want to

Veronica decides to write, since she doesn't have to worry about making it in the real world she can focus on her passion projects

Mac works with her Dad, who is alive because he did not contribute to her issues, that would be how society fails to meet the needs of autistic people, especially in education

She eventually is going to take over the engagement ring business, which is a pretty decent amount of income on top of their massive fortune

She also volunteers at animal shelters in her free time bc she loves animals

Duke initially says screw jobs but she quickly gets bored and decides to go into Child Psychology, she wants to help kids who were like her and had nowhere and no one to turn to, and help those in abusive situations to get out of them, bc JD can't just murder all of the abusive parents in the world, as great as that would be

Chandler thinks they are all crazy for taking jobs when they don't have to, but she gets bored as well waiting for them to get home so she starts doing all the chores

What she thought would originally be meaningless busywork actually becomes fun for her

It turns out she likes to cook, which is good bc if she didn't her gfs would would subsist entirely on hot pockets and coffee

She learns how to bake and the rest of them would often come home to fresh cupcakes or cookies

She also takes up gardening, which surprises her bc she thought she would hate having to get all up in the dirt

She's always buying different kinds of flowers to plant in the yard

Obviously she gets the most of heathers, duh

It feels like a final fuck you to her parents, who wanted her to become a rich asshole like the rest of their family

They sell the Duke residence to JD, Betty and Martha for cheap bc they don't need 2 houses (and bc they feel bad about how they treated them) while they all move into the Chandler Mansion

Life is chaotic as hell, but they all love it

Everyone besides Mac is a Night Owl, she has to drag them to bed at a reasonable hour otherwise they would stay up all night

They cannot function without their morning coffee

They occasionally play games, but this always turns out horribly

Take the Mario Party Incident for example

Mac just wanted them to all play together and have fun, so she booted up Mario Party, quickly forgetting how competitive Duke and Chandler are

They scream at each other the entire time, Veronica gives up around Round 4 and throws

At the end Chandler has the most stars, but Duke somehow gets all 3 bonus stars and ends up winning

Chandler fucking throws her controller through the TV

She sleeps on the couch that night

Or the time they tried to play Monopoly, but Duke set the board on fire after landing on Chandler's property with 3 hotels

Mac really wants to get a pet, she loves animals and there's plenty at the shelter waiting to be adopted

Duke is the holdout, she hates furry animals, but relents when she can get a snake

Veronica brings her cat JFK from her parent's place, Chandler gets a Maine Coon who only likes Mac and will hiss at everyone else, Mac gets a rabbit bc she loves them, they're just so tiny and fluffy and cute, and Duke gets a ball python

Chandler tried so hard to get the cat to like her, buying her all these toys and shit, but she'll always go to Mac for attention and hiss whenever Chandler gets close

Chandler hates the snake, in reality she's just scared, a fact which Duke takes full advantage of, like after the monopoly incident

Chandler goes to put on her war paint (makeup) when everyone hears a scream

Chandler is hiding in the corner, shaking at the sight of this small little ball python sitting in the cabinet

Duke is a chaos gremlin

Duke also sleeps on the couch that day

Veronica is a weeb and will binge anime all day if she has nothing else to do

She finds this one called I'm In Love With The Villainess bc one of the characters, Claire, looks a hell of alot like Chandler

She forces the Heathers to sit down and watch it with her, and they all agree Chandler is literally Claire

She starts calling Veronica 'commoner' after that

Why People Don't Like Ozzy (and why they do like other characters)

Every fandom has its favourites, and that of KG2 isn't exempt– just look at all the content of Penny, Ted, Nugget and Felix lol. But if there's one character that Kindergarten fans don't often think or care about, it's Ozzy.

At first glance, it seems obvious why. He's pretty whiny and a big downer, instantly dislikes the protag, and doesn't really have any shown positive qualities. He talks constantly about his allergies and asthma, obsesses over his routine, is willing to strangle Protag without a second thought, and the player is actively encouraged to kill him in Ted's mission.

But really, Ozzy's just, well. A five-year-old. Out of the KG cast, he's the one who acts most his age: he's rude at times, very focused on himself, and sulks about his favourite toy being broken– and those are all traits you'd expect from a kindergartener. He's surrounded by more emotionally compelling and mature characters, making him seem babyish in comparison.

His fears about his asthma and allergies are honestly valid, considering that the world in which he lives contains people constantly trying to off each other. He knows he's not well-liked, that his science teacher would (and does) use his corpse as a cadaver, that he could literally die from either of these things being set off.

Leading on from that, is his apathy regarding killing the protag really that surprising? He, like all the other students, knows what happens when people are sent to the principal's office or Danner gets out his laser gun. It wouldn't be surprising if he's just accepted death as part of his routine by then, unbothered by and desensitised to it just like the other kids.

He has problems with change, as little kids often do, and it's entirely reasonable that he's so upset about his friends getting "transferred". He just lost everyone he cared about seemingly because of the new kids, so his immediate response is to dislike them. He has a right to be worried and angry about Madison & co disappearing, most likely having seen plenty of people die in his school, but there's nothing he can do but take it out on Protag. Heck, if the player gives him the battery, he's even willing to give him a chance at friendship, saying that maybe the new kids aren't all bad and asking if Kid wants to play with him.

So why do people not like Ozzy, but find favourites in other characters? Take Felix, for example (on whom this fandom is typically divided into 2 extremes: loving and despising). He kills his brother remorselessly, is willing to further disable a paralysed child, cares only for himself and constantly belittles everyone around him.

But Felix is also a really fun character. His motives are great to explore, his relationship with Ted equally so, his manner of speaking is wonderful and he has some really good lines (e.g. "the real treasure is the friends we buried alive along the way"). He's so pompous that it's funny, he's always a blast to watch, and there's a lot of potential for angst for him.

Ozzy only murders one person, but that's the player. He's an obstacle, not meant to be liked. Felix murders his twin, but there's a whole lot to read into with that. He's a likeable character with an enjoyable story, and he typically comes with ball-of-sunshine Ted.

Ted is easy to like. People are sympathetic towards him because of Cain's Not Able and his seemingly horrible father. He's nice to Felix and feels had about killing Ozzy. His only motives are pleasing his brother, showing his loyalty and desperation to prove himself and be loved.

But he does kill Ozzy, or at least get Protag to do so for him, and plans the whole thing out independantly despite Felix saying that he would take care of it. He's not as dumb as Felix makes him out to be, can be cold-blooded and strategic when necessary, sticks to his plan no matter who it hurts (e.g. Carla with the gum, Ozzy himself) all in the name of showing he's capable. Ted isn't as innocent as people like to pretend, but he is more considerate than plenty the other characters.

Characters like Cindy and Buggs make Penny & Ted look like angels, and the big personalities everyone else possesses make Ozzy seem pretty boring. He's not particularly compelling, we're not supposed to like him, his only major plot point is that Ted wants the player to kill him, and he only ever shows concern for himself and characters whose only personalities are being experiments.

Even then, he refuses to hug Madison after she comes out of the lab, telling her to take a bath and calling her gross. We know what Madison has been through as the Protag so we feel bad for her, but looking at the situation through Ozzy's eyes is entirely different.

She's covered in something that looks disgusting and he's trying to get on him, and Ozzy hates getting dirty. All he's been told is that it's from the principal's secret lab, which only makes it seem more unhygienic. He's fully aware of the rules in science and labs at school, reminding Danner multiple times, and his mom has clearly enforced these before.

Again, he's five, so his lack of a filter isn't entirely his fault. He doesn't possess the emotional maturity to see that might upset her, he's just glad that she's back and scared of her touching him with her goo. He doesn't know she was kidnapped, he doesn't know what the goo is, he doesn't know why she didn't reach out if she was at school the whole time. He suggests something he sees as perfectly reasonable, and moves on with his life.

One of Ozzy's main characteristics is that he's a germophobe. Getting mad at him for that would be like getting mad at Ted for his arachnaphobia–even if Ozzy's ruder and more blunt about his fear.

Overall, people don't like Ozzy mostly because they don't find him interesting. He's not endearing or sweet, isn't shown as a nice character, and doesn't really have any spotlight moments like Felix or Penny. Nugget, too, is liked because of how new and unpredictable he is as a character, as well as some of his more emotional moments– all of which Ozzy lacks.

About my Reagent OC, Hunter!

Reagent Hunter is an Outlast Trials AU of my existing sona character, Hunter Hirnfresser.

Hunter is the angel of death who appears to the living as a 26-year-old male named Hunter Hirnfresser.

In this AU, Hunter is attracted to the trials because of all the death surrounding them. His plan is to investigate why so many people are dying in this area, and also to collect the souls of those who have lost their lives in the trials.

Hunter finds more than he bargained for as his human disguise leads him to being put in the trials as a reagent. He experiences how torturous and deadly the trials are first hand, and makes it his personal mission to stay in them to collect the souls of those who are killed in them.

In trials where it’s a task to kill other people (the snitch, the judge and witnesses, etc), it’s a breaking point for him. He hates the idea of killing someone just to have to move on their soul, so he talks to the victims like they are his friends, or even like they’re children. Which gives off this impression that the trials are absolutely destroying his sanity. In a way, they are, but he believes if he is nice to the people he's tasked to kill they will be less scared of him when he comes back to move them onto the afterlife.

Hunter has been killed and released multiple times, but because he’s death, he does not permanently die and also always returns to the trials willingly. When this happens, he wipes himself from the memories of everyone involved. Easterman, prime assets, ex pops, other reagents, everyone. It works on all except one person…

No one is aware he is the angel of death.

Relationships with People Involved with the Trials:

Dr. Easterman - Hunter has a wicked hatred for Dr. Easterman and openly mocks him throughout the trials and while in the Sleep Room. Easterman always has a sense that he’s met Hunter before whenever he returns but ultimately doesn’t remember him.

Leland Coyle - Hunter wipes the memories of everyone involved in the trials, but the one person it doesn't work with is Coyle. Coyle remembers Hunter every time he returns from outside the trials or dies. He has seen Hunter return to life without the use of rigs, items from Dorris, syringes, or medical intervention. He's watched the wounds on Hunter's body heal completely without medicine. Coyle knows Hunter is not... normal, for lack of a better word. He's always trying to corner Hunter or get him alone so he can interrogate and torture him. Hunter is very aware Coyle suspects something is up with him and actively taunts him during trials, always being uncomfortably close to being caught by him. Hunter often says someday he knows Coyle will get him and he'll end up being the next snitch in the Kill the Snitch trial. Hunter also has no idea why Coyle is the only one that ever remembers him and the interest in each other is mutual. Also, Hunter has an attraction to Coyle that disturbs the other reagents in his group. He always plays it off like he's just joking around... he's not.

Mother Gooseberry - Hunter has an affection toward Gooseberry and calls her "mom" when referring to her. Out of every prime asset and ex-pop, Gooseberry is the only one Hunter feels any kind of sympathy for. Hunter wants to get close to her and just be a friend to her, someone she can talk to. He finds her history both intriguing and disturbing, often wondering how she ended up being what she is now.

Franco Barbi - Hunter is horribly disturbed by Franco. He finds everything about him gut-wrenchingly unsettling. Franco is the only prime asset Hunter takes extra steps to avoid at all costs. Unlike he would with Coyle, Hunter does not taunt Franco in trials. In fact, he’s almost entirely silent during his trials aside from a few terrified screams if Franco finds or grabs him. Unlike his wishes for Gooseberry, Hunter does not wish to talk with Franco. He finds his taunts, his killings, his ways horrifying. He refers to Franco as "Bambi" a nickname a fellow reagent started calling him and he picked up on.

The Pusher - Hunter hates him. Simple as that. He thinks he's a huge inconvenience. Hunter will actively seek to attack him with bottles and bricks, even if he's not being pursued by the pusher. Often calls him "the doctor" by mistake.

The Night Hunter - Hunter is kind of creeped out by him, but indifferent to him being in trials. He doesn't have much interest in him but finds his taunts and the things he says amusing.

Other Ex-Pops - As for the rest of the ex-pops, he only feels bad that they are here in the trials and have been experimented on. He often calls the small grunts by name (if he finds out what it is) but calls the big grunts "big man/lady", berserkers "blind man/guy", pouncers just "lady", and screamers... screamers. Out of all of them, the big grunts are the ones that terrify him the most and he will scream and run when spotted by them, even if running isn't the best idea.

Cornelious Noakes - Hunter likes watching Noakes tinker with things. He understands he doesn't want to talk and make friends, so he doesn't push him to do so. Hunter often sits by his desk just to watch him work on rigs and trial items. Noakes doesn't seem to mind the company.

Emily Barlow - Hunter doesn't really like her and doesn't trust her. She is hard for him to judge, not knowing if what she says is a facade or a trick. Hunter avoids her, never even looking in her direction. Emily hasn't noticed that he avoids her.

Dorris - Hunter was very put off by Dorris when he first met her. however, as time went on, he grew to like her. Hunter can sympathize with her being treated poorly for having an attraction toward other woman because he himself is bisexual with a preference leaning toward men. Hunter is much more open and riskier when it comes to his sexuality, which tends to cause problems for him. Dorris takes a liking to him every time she meets him after her memory of him is wiped. She smuggles in black nail polish for him so he can keep his nails painted!

Other Staff - Hunter is a huge flirt and is always flirting with the guards, even if it's mostly to get a reaction out of them. He's seen as somewhat of a pest to them. He has gotten a couple of them to fall for him and go beyond flirting, but their secret is safe with him. As for the scientists, with how closely they already watch him, he doesn't want to interact with them out of fear of them finding out he's not what he appears to be.

I'll make changes to this as I need to but for now, there he is!

I feel like I'm very bad at drawing humans (almost all art I do is furry/anthro so I almost never draw them). But I'd love to do more drawings of him and maybe get some commissions from other Outlast enjoyers so... we'll see!

6. Shougo is kinda nerdy but tries to hide it

7. Mitsumasa would've been a hipster. He is nerdy but he gives such strong would be on tumblr hipster vibes with the fake mustache and scarf and all of it.

8. Takumi and Amachi had some type of situationship

9. Kurosawa and Guriko have a horribly toxic relationship/situationship and all of suzuran treat it like a reality TV show (it's the only info Kinji shares with everyone no matter if they r from suzuran or not for free)

10. Every week they flip flop from " I wanna marry you ", " I h8 you, I'm not gay. " , " Your the only one for me ", when they're in a good spot Guriko tries to make Kurosawa more feminine and tries to slightly put him down in public cuz he still cannot accept he's gay

11. This is literally just canon Hiromi and Bandou r married

12. When Nanba gets anxious he fiddles with his jewellery he does it sometimes while talking to people he doesn't know that well and they usually think he's threatening them and he has no idea why

13. People that aren't in the Armament assume that Kousei and Shougo r brothers all the time, Kousei laughs it off , Shougo gets awkward and quiet , and Juuzou gets a tiny bit jealous cuz like that's his lil baby bro

14. Shougo has some sensory issues and on some days its worse and it makes him not wanna wear the tfoa leather jacket but he'd rather die then disappoint his seniors so he wears it but he's so obviously uncomfortable and stands like a puffed up bird with his arms to his side but not touching him and his legs a bit too far apart and it's so uncomfortable everything he does looks like one of those stock images but he thinks he's doing a good job of hiding it meanwhile everyone in the armament knows and when it's one of those days they send him home saying there's nothing today or give him some work to do which needs him to remove his jacket

15. It's few and far in between buy there r days Nanba is more insecure about himself to the point he'll do anything he can to avoid looking at his reflection and the rest of the armament have caught onto it and help him by covering any mirrors and really reflective surfaces or setting them out of his sight

I'll give of mine down there, cutting it again 'cause it's long!!!!

Let's start with CROWS :

– Hiromi and Bandou are, duh, in love and later on get married. They were in love during high school but since there were so many emotions between them it was hard to decipher to what level. But during Hiromi's third year they realized they couldn't live without seeing each other/not being around one another for that long.

– Young Bandou had a crush on Sugata.

– Harumichi screams at the monkeys in the zoo.

– Makoto is a he/him butch lesbian on HRT. He's out to everyone in their friend group beside Gunji (the boy was unaware. Had whiplash when he learned. But later on did not gaf.) He also was a silent tank because he did not like the sound of his voice.

– Zetton is a hundred percent autistic with ADHD. He's really intelligent but has difficulty focusing on one thing at a time. He'll sometimes neglect one thing for another if he deems it necessary (regardless of their true importance). Pisses off a lot of people, Hideyoshi being top of the list.

– Hideyoshi refused to pay to pierce his ear and did it himself with a hammer nail. Luckily his ear didn't get infected since he had put the nail on top of the gas until it turned red (it was painful), but he can only put one type of earrings since the hole is too big for regular ones.

– Masa had pink hair at some point. A very soft hue, a yellowish pink.

– Gunji gets extremely clumsy around girls. Very awkward, loses all sense of speech.

– Yasu once got so drunk he cried on the way home when he thought Harumichi had turned into a fat cat he saw on the street. While Harumichi was right beside him mind you.

– Ryuushin is hot blooded. He gets too warm swiftly. That's why he often doesn't wear shirts under his jacket.

– Tatsuya is cold blooded, in contradiction. He always has an undershirt.

– Harumichi also is cold blooded but he's a show off. He catches colds easily.

– Bulldog knows sign language. Learned it because of a girl, now uses it to curse people for fun and to get discounts on stuff since he's deaf in one ear.

– Yonezaki is a sleepwalker. Stopped taking naps at school when he woke up standing on his desk in front of his entire class.

– Kousei is allergic to pollen. The guys find the way he sneezes adorable, like a mouse squeak. But they don't find it so cute when he starts to turn red with watery eyes. They all carry EpiPens in their pockets because of that.

– Jou likes to do food critics for fun. He's actually a very good palate.

– Teru and Kiiko are a couple. Parko's the third wheel. He does not give a fuck though, even when they start to flirt. He often intrudes, unaware, but they don't mind him at all – they even include him sometimes. (Me, you, and Steve type of situation lmfao)

Let's go over to WORST now!

– Kiyohiro gets flustered easily. He turns red as a beet root. The Armament (mostly Tesshou) LOVE to tease him to get some kind of reaction. It pisses him off so much he sometimes leaves and only comes back the day after. (He doesn't give anyone any information. Not answering calls or texts. It frightened everyone the first time he did it. They almost ordered a man search.)

– Tesshou often comes to the scrapyard with painted nails because his little sister enjoys doing them.

– Shougo is easily offended. He doesn't show it but he'll sure sulk later on. Takumi is his worst enemy when it comes to that.

– Takumi is a sarcasm missile. He always finds a way to send a jab. Meaning it or not, he'll find a way to make a snarky remark.

– Maekawa has a wheezy laugh. Sounds like he's choking.

– Kuniyoshi is afraid (dislikes the sight) of needles.

– Renji is a mumbler. Mumbles words as he walks or stays still, doing whatever. He mumbles in order to remember all of the information he's gathered, otherwise he might forget some details or mix things up.

– Sakota is easily startled. Jumps at any short disturbances. But he's so hot-tempered that it just looks like he's going to crash out each time someone startle him (they don't know they just scared him).

– Tora is actually really silent on his feet. Startled Sakota more than once. Weirds everyone's out. Looks like he teleports across the room when no one's keeping an eye on him.

– Asai ears can move but they're also extremely flexible. He can put his ear in its hole, literally. He did it one time in front of Yaita & Katsuhiro and they started to shout like monkeys after seeing a magic trick.

– Ozaki's right arm often stings. It didn't heal well from the fracture.

– Ginji is touch-starved. Uses Tsutomu as an outlet. Putting his forehead on his shoulder blades or leaning against him. Putting an arm around his back, or putting his arms on his shoulders. Tsutomu doesn't mind.

– Pudding is actually a real bullet, he runs extremely fast. That's why he's able to escape Tsutomu most of the time.

– Hana is extremely skilled at calisthenics but bad at gymnastics (not flexible enough). He's a killer at rock climbing though.

– He's also weirdly skilled at reproducing animal shouts. Made everyone's eyes go wide when he started to sing like a bird. He also likes to bark for fun. (Makes Sakota jump real hard).

– Amachi's adoptive father is extremely kind. That's why he's able to get that much money in order to erase people's debts etc...

– Amachi has schizophrenia (because of PTSD), paranoia and extreme mood swings. He also lacks empathy but he laters works on it. The sight of Hana makes him terribly angry (it's mainly jealousy). He couldn't bear to see a man as strong as him be so carefree, so openly kind, instead of using his strength to dominate others (how he believed he'd survive in life).

– I also think Amachi has platinium blond hair. Stress and anxiety, wariness and anger wore the color out.

– Daitou has a fat crush on Amachi.

– Ichizen is colorblind.

– Akira is dyslexic.

– Bisuko also is dyslexic.

– Takumi has synesthesia (can see colors in letters).

– Guriko and Kurosawa have a thing going on but it's not exactly a situationship because they are willing to get together but Guriko is weird about it. It's exactly forced feminization (but a heteronormative brain too). There has to be a woman in their relationship (that's how it works, right?) and it sure as hell won't be Guriko. Kurosawa never complies though, of course. And it often ends up in a physical argument. In utter denial while still participating . He gets the idea though, when Kurosawa states that they're done and ignores him for weeks. Guriko gets so mad he can't talk to him he just tackles him one day. It goes downhill from then, but it gets better after.

– Tokio and Butcher have a situationship though.

– Mitsumasa has a typing record 90 words per minute. He's also the only of the four brothers who can speak English.

– Mitsuyoshi and Mashima are dating. (Housen knows its boundaries best. LMFAO)

– Teru knows how to sew. Sewed back multiple uniforms before he made people pay for it.

– Teru also has a countertenor singing voice.

That's about all (?), these are the ones that came to mind! That's still quite a lot, yeah... But it's fun, it's fun <3

change is what it means to be human is the core belief of progressivism. you can change people for the better, change the structure of society if its not working to maximize happiness for all humans, change how we do things once we realize they no longer work for us.

and to be conservative is to reject change. to believe that humans are born a certain way and you cannot change them so the only option to kill the evil ones before they can procreate.

this is the central question that humanity struggles with in this society and that is what we need to ask ourselves. are we willing to change when people tell us we are hurting them or will we kill them to silence their opinion of us before it harms our reputation?

The idw discourse is so bad, I feel caught in the middle because each time I express how bad the storytelling is, in a new issue or how off model the characters are drawn, idw fans gang up on me. But on the other hand I don't want to be associated with the people who think think it's funny to tweet how Flynn should die or make weird assumptions about Stanley being a bad person ? Like that's weird and cruel. Hate their work not them as people.

Digest that for a moment. It's our fault for other people's reaction to us. And instead of rubbing his brain cells together for a moment and questioning the reasons why this knee-jerk reaction occurs, or even reflecting on the fact that it occurs at all and perhaps realizing that the call is coming from inside the house, he fell back on old biases and decided it was the haters who were wrong.

The mental gymnastics on display here are unreal.

In this case, I think people are stumbling into the usual fallacious trap of assuming both sides carry equal weight, and thus believe that defaulting to a position of "neutrality" makes them morally superior somehow.

That's kind of what I hate about this fandom - the utter superciliousness. The rotten shit we as a fandom get up to (and no, being a little snarky in a reblog does not count as harassment) while proclaiming love and light uwu. Be nice to everyone, except those freaks over there.

"Neutrality" is in scare quotes here because it's not true neutrality, but a way of posturing to the in-group that you're not Like Us. As demonstrated by my Twitter-user anecdote, people around here don't want to say anything hater-flavored because it risks intense ostracization. That's why you have people jumping down your throat for presenting even mild criticisms. It'd be pathetic if it weren't so annoying.

I'm not talking about people who let well enough alone. I'm talking about centrists who sneer "both sides are bad," as if by distancing themselves from the situation in a smug manner, they're declaring themselves more enlightened than the rest of us.

Honestly, the other side should be just as insulted, but they're not, because this attitude only helps them in the long run.

In reality, this is more like the fishhook situation centrists have with antis vs. proshippers. Saying "this whole thing is stupid" really only benefits antis because they now have grounds to reply, "Yes, this IS stupid, don't you think proshippers are crazy for being upset at something so trivial?" while conveniently omitting the part where antis routinely send proshippers death threats and other heinous material.

Look at it from this angle: the most concrete harm I have seen their side say they've suffered is a deep discomfort and estrangement from the book. Which, yeah. That sucks. But it's also kinda on you to just click away if it makes you uncomfortable.

On the other hand, I have had legitimate crying fits because of horrible messages I received and have told people multiple times about the anon who mocked my recently-deceased mom. Which, unlike clicking away from a blog, I had no choice but to see sometimes because I was still naive enough to believe people would behave themselves in my inbox. In fact, a mutual were recently discussing our anxieties over retaliation should IDW be cancelled. There's stuff about this that you just don't want to think about because dwelling on it will freak you out.

"Both sides are bad" stings, especially in light of knowing the measures I have taken to walk on eggshells and draw proper boundaries. I literally cannot know if someone in this fandom will consider my explanations harassment and dogpiling, so I try not to reblog with commentary. On the reblogging site.

Reflect on how fucked-up that is, to feel uncomfortable adding a tag to someone's fanart because you're worried they might realize you're One of Them(tm) and shun you on that basis alone.

I won't sit here and say I've always been perfect in my conduct, but at the same time, it's just the infuriating experience of double standards all the way down. Somehow it never occurs to them that if I held them to the same standard they hold me, I could call them all out on intellectual dishonesty for refusing to engage with any of our points no matter how calmly or clearly stated because "lol ur just a hater," and tar them with the same brush as those who sent me death threats.

But ofc, things don't work out like that in the calculus of Le Sonic Discourse. It's just a rotten experience to the core.
