What's the point of making love the point of it all. I don't even mean this bitterly like oh actually vileness is the point, humanity is inherently evil, etc, I'm asking, why would every single point of creativity need to have some relation to love? How does that make sense? Why are you reverse engineering art to be about the absence of love (thus actually about love)?

"if it's not about love, it's empty, it's meaningless, it's nothing" ??? What does that even mean??? I'm struggling to put into words but this is like...the artistic version of "the point of humanity is to procreate" even if you think so, it means very little especially wrt to individual creation. It's pointlessly vague.

the thing is, I really enjoyed the rest of the episodes, but every time viktor was on screen I just felt supremely upset because I despise how they've been treating him. surely his actions and his hallucinations are just the hexcore and or arcane manipulating him. surely they wouldn't actually make his character like that because that would be so silly.

also as a league player im double nervous because what do you mean you're going to remove this character I'm so attached to, and replace him with this completely altered husk of his former character arc lol

I forgot to reply to this ask (which is referring to this post), so here goes:

I honestly agree that all the other storylines except for Viktor have been at the very least decent, and some have been amazing (Vander’s). Jinx has grown on me a lot this season, which I really didn’t expect. She was well written, but not that interesting to me personally in season 1, and I really did not think I’d care for Isha, but. Well. What can I say (<- cried).

I think Viktor’s arc would have shined a lot more had they not completely robbed him of all the agency that made him so likeable as a league character. Is he correct in his opinions in league? No but by god you GET IT. You understand why he thinks what he thinks. In s2, he has been reduced to an (albeit very pretty) husk, in my opinion, which is such a shame. I would have KILLED to see him self-augmenting instead of becoming a group project he had no say in. I’m also REALLY sorry for league Viktor fans — I won’t even lie, you guys have it BAD right now 😔

tout ce qu'il s'était passé

je n'ai eu qu'un succès limité

car tout en disant il fallait continuer à ne pas dire

une ouverture morcelée, histoire socialement acceptable par abus admissible

l'écriture, ma thérapie personnelle

poésie, une fosse à purin pour faire des fleurs de mes peines

alors cette année le but est peut-être d'ouvrir un peu plus grand la porte

d'enfin oser mettre en mots les dernières années

la mauvaise sexualité, les abus, le silence, les agressions

d'arrêter de me cacher derrière mes poèmes

de creuser à pleine main la chair nue

d'y déraciner le silence qui m'a enserré le corps

de réaliser que je n'ai pas à vivre avec le poids de toutes ces années qui pressent sur ma gorge

que je ne mérite pas de mourir parce j'ai péché

que je n'ai pas à mentir pour me protéger

que cela n'efface pas ni mon histoire ni mon vécu
