lesson #1: nothing good ever happens when you're stuck in a car with your ex on the way to somewhere remote.

you blame iwaizumi for this one. who the fuck chooses to spend their birthday weekend in the fucking wilderness?

(okay, you don't actually think it's so bad. to be fair, he did plan this a year ago. and it did sound like a good idea. then. at the time. anywhere with the boys was always guaranteed fun―at least, until you and matsukawa broke up.)

"can you pass me the flashlight?" he points at the backpack behind you. when you hand it over, your fingers brush over his as he takes it away from you.

and you hate it, because―

lesson #2: you should never be alone with your ex when you still have feelings for them.

you'd agreed to take two cars to the camping spot: iwaizumi's with oikawa and hanamaki and matsukawa's with you. there was no way you'd fit in one, and hanamaki ultimately decided to ride with iwaizumi because, "you and mattsun have shit to sort out," he'd said.

with night setting and the two-hour headstart they managed to get ahead of you, the best thing you and matsukawa can do is to set up camp temporarily and wait for them to come back for you come sunrise.

you sigh.

leaves crack underneath your feet as you maneuver around your camping space. the light from matsukawa's flashlight tells you where he is, just a bit deeper in the forestry as he looks for wood to help set up the fire.

you unload the car in the meantime, bringing out some snacks and sleeping bags while waiting.

matsukawa eventually comes back with arms full of wood, and you help in whatever way you can, clearing the space and fetching more twigs when needed.

the entire car ride here had been quiet, so it's not surprising that this entire process has been equally as silent. until―

"did you already pull out your tent?" he asks, half of his body disappearing into the trunk of the car.

"huh?" you go closer, "i only brought out the sleeping bags."

then he sighs, ducking out from the trunk with a hand on his hip, "we only have one tent."

"what?"

"makki must have gotten yours with his when he decided to move cars."

his hand runs through his hair, a habit you know well. it lights up all sorts of weird feelings in your tummy

you don't know how to feel―

"i can sleep in the car."

―but you know that you definitely don't want him to do that. all things considered, you were friends first. and you've both been trying to be friends again since the breakup. you wouldn't want to cause him discomfort like that.

so, with a deep breath, you say, "it's okay, we can just share."

"are you sure?" he stares at you.

you nod.

after setting up the tent, you eat a few energy bars and clean up from the day's events. the campfire provides ample enough heat, but with how fast the flames are burning, you're doubtful it'll last the two of you the entire night.

it’s much later on, past midnight, that your doubts are proven right when you and matsukawa are cramped together in a tent made for one. it started to get cold a few minutes ago, and you've found yourself inching closer and closer to the warmth you’ve gotten used to laying against for the past two years.

he's only pretending to be asleep, you know that much, too. the rise and fall of his chest is hardly there; you can see it, how he's holding his breath being this close to you.

"issei," you whisper.

he opens his eyes, eyelids lifting lazily as he meets your stare. the vibration of his hum reverberates to you.

"it's cold."

for a moment, your stomach drops at the thought that he could ignore you; how it would make perfect sense for him to. you broke up with him after all, and he doesn't owe you anything, much less favors as intimate as this one.

but he closes the already dwindling gap between you, wrapping an arm around your waist as he pulls you closer. it's near, far too near for exes to be―noses touching and all.

"warmer?" his voice comes out hoarser through the whisper.

you nod, your head shifting up and down—which, truly, is where you ultimately fuck up. you feel it, a little chapped but still pliant against your lips.

in your carelessness, you accidentally brush your lips against his, the sensation alone surprising you enough to inch your head back as you mutter your apologies.

"sorry? really?" he asks, eyes half-lidded still as he chuckles.

his question settles into the small space you're in.

your vision trails from his eyes, down to the slope of his nose, until it lands on his lips again. a little split like you've always known, but still your favorite. still the only lips you want against yours.

when you lean in again, you know you're fucked, because―

However, my preference is

"Barry acts impulsively, and has to use his big smart brain to think himself out of the situations he put himself in, and is pretty good at the second part when not having a panic attack"

How do you decide what compositions you want to use in your work? Do you have layout inspiration? Or does it just come naturally? I would like to improve how I use composition and placement in my work and would love some tips. Essentially… how do you determine what goes where? What shapes would make the whole piece come together… that kinda thing. I’d appreciate any advice you may have!!! (: thank you!!

honestly i usually have a very vague idea in mind of what i want to do and then just play around with it/change the positioning/add or remove stuff as i go! i am a pretty messy and impatient person so some of my layouts are definitely rushed and could be improved if i payed more attention to detail/slowed down but oh WELL hahah

i do recommend pinterest + instagram for inspo though! especially looking at graphic design and traditional collage pieces — these can be super helpful and after a while you’ll be able to pick up on artists’ patterns and habits and steal a little bit of what you like 👀 no but honestly don’t be afraid to get inspired by the work you love — as long as you focus on implementing stuff that makes your brain go brrr instead of blindly copying it without putting much thought into it you’re all good!

Absolutely crazy how beautiful Sam is (face and everything else) in the harlequin look. Why is that such a particularly beautiful look for him?

I honestly think the late 1700s styling just really suits him, which is delightful given that’s where we’re heading for a chunk of next season. The Harlequin hair and make up though definitely emphasises his features though too, especially his eyes - he’s so fair generally, and his lashes so blond, that filling in his eyebrows and using eyeliner and mascara on him I think definitely mmm - - trying to think of an apt metaphor pre-coffee-on-my-way-to-Pilates is hard, haha - - brings a certain premium to his face card

what's your process for coloring like? the look of that elendira is so textured and interesting, i can't figure out how you do it

AA THANK YOUU ^__^ !! textures & brushwork are my favorite things abt my art, so im happy you find it interesting hehe . its SOO cool to look at & so much fun to draw imo

i prefer to color by building in layers , if that makes sense 🤔!! hundreds of them !! such that i'm always drawing on Top of previous layers, working from big & messy blocks of color to, eventually, small and refined blocks of color until it feels processed enough. as a result, i rarely ever erase (!!) and i rarely ever draw lineart aside from the initial sketch

a rough, patchy textured brush is key here, as it'll give you dimension and variability w/ your colors. i recommend "Brush and various sets of fountain pen style (万年筆風ブラシと色々セット)" on Clip Studio (ID: 1679706) !! :3

im terrible with explanations though, so i'm going to show a step by step of that elendira drawing if you dont mind :3

sketch layer !! because i mostly render through color alone, i try to make this as close to the finished thing as possible . ^__^ i hateee drawing the same thing over and over and like the expressivity and movement of my sketches anyways , so the more i can preserve at this step, the better. if u were to look at a side by side of my sketches and finished pieces, youd notice a lot of those og lines are present in the final drawing :3

2. flats !! pretty self explanatory, but the solid background gives me an idea of where the figure begins & ends while the colors themselves help distinguish whats what . i stick to ambient lighting @ this point because im usually not sure what i want to do with the overall palette or lighting yet . having two tones (ex, dark and light in her hair or dark and light on her skin) can also help in identifying key features early on that u wanna preserve. as you build layer by layer, sometimes these areas will remain untouched and i think it makes for a rly lovely feel at the end

3. start blocking !!! to be totally honest with you, i dont really know what i do here HAHAHA. like i just scribble the shit out of it, usually focusing on what i might want to do with lighting (ex: grey areas to accentuate folds in her costume). i think i like to start "erasing" the sketch where possible by coloring on top of it .. like if you look at her hat or her arm , you can tell i'm starting to get a sense of the shapes i like vs the ones i dont. it's at this point that the final image starts to emerge in my mind , like im gradually pulling her from a tarpit of scribbles until shes recognizable lol. chipping away at the marble until i can free her. tbh.

4. keep blockingg...when u think u are done , block some more . as you can probably see, the brushwork becomes more intentional as i add more shape, with specific focus on line weight. this is also where the patchiness of that textured brush comes in - notice how none of the colors seem totally uniform (ex: the red cross or the original sketchlines for her waist). you can see bits and pieces of the layers underneath pushing through and i really like that !! ^__^ its very fun and sketchy to me, so i try to keep them around. those areas are also great to colorpick from, because it'll give you "new" colors to work w/ that are already part of your palette.

5. GRADIENTS & GRADIENT MAPS !! TONE CURVE !! COLOR PICKER !! this is the best stage tbh. flatten your image so its all on one layer and just go crazy with all the color settings in ur program. add gradient layers and set them to darken, or overlay, or subtract, orrr. lighten or dodge glow or divide or soft/hard light.! OR!! edit the hue, saturation, luminosity and contrast.and then color pick from these edits, block even more on top of ur image, flatten, color edit again, etc. etc. until u feel satisfied.

ANYWAYSS . i hope that makes sense @__@ sry i wrote this out and deleted it like 23 times trying to make it make More sense but thats what ive got HAHA i hope its useful though :3 !

FujiTowa AgeRe Oneshot

Based upon a one-off post from @towapet abt fujitowa age regression (its actually wild how far of a rabbit hole I went into thinking about agere bc of this).

In like a 2am haze I woke up randomly and couldn't go back to sleep so I wrote a cute little Fujieda x Towa short........... at least I'm pretty happy with it..!!! here's to the tumblr void to commemorate <3

Fujieda shoved down the intense wave of fuzziness breaching boundaries of his mind. The day was a long one—and his clients were particularly difficult. There was no one to tell him “good work”, only suspicious glares and doubtful scoffs.

This was fine. Fujieda didn’t mind. He chose this line of work, and at this point in his life, it was the ideal outcome—the necessary kind of occupation that he was obligated to fulfill. His movements felt sluggish as he turned the car off and stepped into his condo.

The Friday was over. It was a particularly rough week. Three out of five nights of late overtime had been sludged through. Words melted down his throat as he glanced over to a languid Towa, who spoke a simple greeting while setting out the plates for dinner.

Towa.

Watching him, another stronger wave of weightlessness rushed through him—and Fujieda frowned, though he didn’t force it to stop. The last time he did, he was left with a severe weekend migraine and a bad attitude, according to Towa.

Fujieda’s fuzzy mind began to regain clarity somewhat, but all that remained was an absent-minded desire to lounge on the couch and continue playing where he left off on the console. The exhaustion of the last month seemed to drift far away from him, as the thought of playing games grew stronger. It was a good thing he had all weekend.

A decided satisfaction spread through his chest as he nodded to himself and began to quickly eat—faster and sloppier, as if he had a million things to do other than eat.

Towa watched on curiously.

“Fujieda?”

Fujieda frowned, disliking the sound of his last name. It sounded impersonal. As if Towa were a stranger. He really didn’t like that.

“Fujieda sounds weird. Can’t you just call me Ryo?”

The low, yet curtly juvenile tone brought a softened light to Towa’s expression. His lips thinned into a smile, “Sure. Ryo, any plans this weekend?”

Ryo didn’t answer until he polished plate off. He shoved away from the table and dropped his dishes in the sink carelessly.

“Just games this weekend. I…that’s fine right? You’re not gonna be mad?”

“Nope. Sounds good to me.”

“Cool,” Ryo nodded with an awkward pause.

He diverted his eyes from Towa’s smile. It was too pretty—he didn’t know how to react whenever he saw it. It made his heart pound. He tensed as Towa stretched his slender arm up, fingers outstretched—

And rubbed Ryo’s head back and forth with a gentle touch. A wave of comfort washed over Ryo, loosening his shoulders. He always tried to hide his thoughts from Towa. He didn’t want Towa to know he thought that about him. It’d be weird.

Except that…

He glanced up, watching Towa wash dishes. Towa hadn’t done anything to… be weirded out or anything. Besides, they both regressed all the time. It wasn’t a big deal. Towa never cared either—in fact, Ryo always thought the smiles he got were better than when he was an adult.

“Towa…”

“What is it?”

“What do you…plan to do?”

“Paint. Maybe turn on a show to watch. Why?”

Ryo mussed through his own hair, hand fidgeting with his nape.

“Join me? In the same room. I’ll be sitting on the couch.”

“Sounds good. I’ll bring my things over.”

And just like Towa said, he brought his stand over and began to paint—Ryo wasn’t sure what it was. He forgot to ask, distracted the moment he begun playing games.

His mind buzzed with a simple contentment as he progressed the story quest, hacking down enemies and tapping through high-energy dialogue. Only when he couldn’t feel his legs would he stand up, stretch, and grab a glass of water.

That was when he finally realized Towa was still standing nearby in his painting apron, concentrating on his canvas. His eyes shone with an intense focus, one that Ryo didn’t want to interrupt. The outlines of children’s items began to form—toy trains, coloring crayons, and the little stuffed rabbit that now belonged to him.

Ryo watched for a few more seconds, then returned to his own game silently. He loved that he didn’t have to explain himself. That there was just the soft hum of battle music and decent voice acting, as well as the rustle of Towa’s apron and his brushed scraping the canvas. Nothing overwhelmingly abrasive. No one to tell him what to do. Just him and Towa coexisting in the same space.

He zoned out playing games, losing track of minute to hour. Just as he defeated a difficult area’s boss, two fingers hesitantly tugged on his sleeve, and a heavy weight slumped against him. Ryo looked over, and Towa's yawning softened features rubbed against his shoulder.

“Ryo,” he whispered with a childish drawl. He tugged on Ryo’s shoulder again, as if expectant.

Ryo wasn’t bothered at all. He paused the game and brought his arms around Towa. Towa giggled softly in his arms. Ryo indulged in the wispy, contented noises, before spoke up.

“Where’s your friend?”

Towa’s eyes widened. He wiggled out of Ryo’s grasp and tottered to the other room. Ryo moved his gaze back to the screen and hit resume. His fingers hit the console buttons in subconscious order, passing through a decently challenging parkour section.

The clumsy steps alerted Ryo that Towa had returned. And without a word, Ryo scooted over and raised his arms higher, eyes not leaving the screen. Towa carefully nestled himself within, this time, the worn out rabbit plush snugly in his lap. Ryo lowered his arm. Towa put his elbow atop Ryo’s, the movement of him rubbing the somewhat matted fur of the bunny relayed through Towa’s movements.

His head leaned back against Ryo’s chest—and after a few minutes of squirming, he finally settled into the perfect position. Their eyes watched the video game screen, bodies stuck together. Like pieces of a puzzle.

Pieces that, at one point, did not fit into their own story—but now slot perfectly into each other’s.

One younger, one slightly older.

Both perfectly content.

This is Lynx’s most popular album, Conspiracy Theories. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a pic of lynx as the cover even if it’s silly. I really like rabbit imagery in music anyways though so I think it’s nice. I was inspired by Alice In Chains album covers and also fleshwater’s ‘we’re not here to be loved’. I tried to find a way to make it more 'gritty' but I couldn’t unfortunately 😭 I like how the title looks, like they just got a label maker and smacked it on..heheh

I imagine that this album is about relationship anxiety, betrayal, resentment, anti social tendencies, infidelity, and aliens. Probably not little green men, maybe more like the thing kind of fleshy imagery. Definitely appealing to atlas and scotch in different ways. Tool’s Undertow is a good example (off the top of my head..) of the sound I’m thinking of, so… prog? Or at least heavily inspired. I’m bad with genres heheh

im currently trying to either become okay with roadkill's name, or decide on a new one.. so im not making any album covers for them yet lol but i will post when i do..

I think roadkill would take a lot of inspo from their fave band so their style is probably heavily influenced by Lynx. Scotch adds a lot of sampling, distortion, whatever..idk I don’t make music.. and atlas is a big fan of slow tempo and bass. think its important to note that atlas doesnt play bass like a bassist in this album, he plays it more like a guitarist. kind of. hope that makes sense. I’ve always been really torn about roadkill’s genre, it’s been everywhere and tends to change. scotch and atlas’ styles would be vastly different if they were solo, so I think that’s why i am so indecisive . I think I just have to keep reminding myself that they’re in a band together, so styles would be mixed.

A part of me is like.. I think roadkill’s first album would be reminiscent of faith no more’s ‘the real thing’, or even some of Primus' stuff in some sense, plus similarities to Lynx and influences of industrial. i know thats a lot of random descriptions. I kinda think of (here’s a goofy genre for ya) sludge metal bands’ instrumental style, not necessarily vocal style... its hard to describe a band that doesnt exist. LMFAO

right now im thinking about 'the pot' by tool as a close example of roadkill.. im having a hard time finding artists that match scotch's vocal range even remotely. also doesnt help that the bands im basing this off of like tool and FNM dont exactly...fit into genres very neatly. roadkill and lynx wouldnt either. HAH. i just know it wouldnt be that high quality but definitely obvious theres a lot of passion in it. i mean this is just an album made by guys who dontknow what theyre doing. like at all. lol

Roadkill’s sound changes quite a bit their next album when seraph is involved. It becomes a lot more ummmm I guess palatable to more people? I don’t exactly know what I mean by that. Ok. LOL. I’ll think about it.. but this is around when Scotch realizes he wants this to be his job. Having Seraph helps A LOT with building a more dedicated and bigger audience, since they’re the one most willing to make changes. Plus they’re in art school, I feel like they’d have connections. So I guess roadkill would sell out in a way.

if you asked me this question a year ago i would have had a completely different answer. i wouldve probably said roadkill is pop punk or garage rock or something. i have trouble fitting scotch and atlas into a genre together. it fits scotch just fine and i think he would enjoy it, but its not roadkill.. also ive been thinking of stylizing roadkill as rdkill.. lmk wat u think.. im unsure about the name is generalHAHA. i know this is a lot so dont feel pressured to reply to everything LMAO im just thinking out loud. and drawing connections between genres that completely do not make sense. peace and LOVE<3

Linx Lore Part 1 | Links Meet x Winx AU

Okay, I’m obsessed with this AU so I’m going to write about it. I plan on writing more parts once I can come up with more lore, like how the Links are going to meet up in the first place. AU idea by @yourlocaltreesimp.

Let’s start this with the Fairy Titles and powers of each Link, as well as their nicknames and Fairy Forms. I do not know what Links I want to include in this AU yet, so I’m just gonna list as many Links that I can think of. I’d probably have like, 7 Links max be the main characters, like with the actual Winx main cast, with others making appearances from time to time.

Anyways, the Links are going to be listed by game first, then Fairy Title, then nickname, then Fairy Form, and then additional info. Fairy Form descriptions are under the cut, at the very end. Some Links also have custom Fairy Forms, made by me, because I can. Those are also explained at the very end.

Note that in Winx and in this AU, Fairy Titles aren’t specific to one Fairy, many Fairies can have tech powers for example and be called a Fairy of Technology. A Fairy can be THE Fairy of Technology if they are the Guardian Fairy (I don’t what to explain what that is this is already so long) of that, or are just the Fairy of Technology in relation to whatever other Faires they are currently with. Some Fairies, however, do have a special title, like Fairy of the Shining Sun is special because only one Fairy has this title. All Links are Fairies of Courage, which is a special title because there’s usually only one Link alive at a time, but each do have a specific-but not necessarily special-title along with that. I’ll mention whether or not it’s a “common” or “special” title.

And one quick disclaimer for this AU; The Master Sword cancels all magic when one is wielding it. The Links could temporarily sheath her to use magic items, but they would still be unable to use their Fairy powers, but only if they didn’t reach Enchantix yet. Even then, their magic wouldn’t be as powerful. In the meta sense, this is to stop the Links from becoming too powerful. In universe, she was created this way to make it easier to stop Demise.

Now, onto the actual post:

LoZ + AoL: Fairy of Origins(Special) - Ori - Charmix - His power is that he can use any kind of magic, but only in its most basic form. For example, he can conjure fire for a small fireball, but he couldn’t create a wall out of fire. His magic is quite weak compared to most Fairies, but such is the fate of being a jack of all trades. He has a hard time doing magic that he hasn’t seen before, but once he does he picks it up instantly.

AlttP + OoX + LA: Fairy of Alteration(Special) - Alt - Enchantix - It was so hard to figure out this guy’s powers you have no idea. Transformation plays a big part in his games, and altering one’s self would include that. Of course this doesn’t include everything he can do, but Fairies can also learn magic that isn’t their specialty (I don’t want to explain this, why is Winx lore so complicated), so it’s fine. He can mainly alter himself, but also things around him, but whatever he alters has to have the same mass. He can alter the appearance and physical form of things. He regularly changes his hair color, which is why it’s different in each of his games. Honestly it’s hard to explain the full extent of his powers, it’s vague enough that he could do almost anything.

OoT + MM: Fairy of Time(Special) - Time - Fiercix - He learned he was Fairy during OoT, but he wasn’t able to use his powers until the very end of it. He sent himself back in time, with the help of Zelda. During MM he was he grew into his powers more, being the one to turn back time in Termina every three days. So far, he can’t turn back time further than that at his current power level. With the help and power of the Fierce Deity, however, it could be possible to mess with time even more…

WW + PH: Fairy of Wind(Common) - Wind - Charmix - The Wind Waker was a great tool that helped him unlock his Fairy powers. I don’t remember if he keeps it if not in the game, but in this AU he does. It acts as his charm for Charmix, so he can’t use it too much all at once. Aryll also has wind powers, but she hasn’t unlocked her Fairy Form yet so they’re very weak.

TP: Fairy of Animals(Common) - Ani - Twilix - He was already fully aware he was a Fairy before his adventure. He regularly used his powers to help out his and others’ farms. He got up to Charmix during his adventure, then to Enchantix and Twilix (which is explained at the end). His powers include talking and shifting into animals, but he‘s more used to being a wolf thanks to the Shadow Crystal.

HW: Fairy of the Apocalypse(Special) & Witch of Wars - Apocalypse/Apo - Enchantix - So Fairies source of magic is positive energy, or light magic, while Witches source of magic negative energy, or dark magic. Some Fairies can use dark magic, but it tends to corrupt them, and I assume that the same would happen with Witches and light magic. So it’s very rare for someone to be able to use both. Enter Apocalypse. He was found in the forest as a baby and then adopted by Linkle’s family, enjoying a simple-yet, somewhat turbulent-farm life before eventually becoming a knight. There he learned of his Witch ancestry, and practiced dark magic alongside his swordsmanship. Dark magic isn’t shunned during his time, Witches being somewhat common. His title, Witch of War, was only something he earned after the War of Eras. The war was also when he learned of his Fairy powers. War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, each of which Apo can draw his Fairy powers from. Disaster and misfortune follow him everywhere. But the powers he has were far too great to just ignore during the war. He had to use them when he could, but that made him ever more glad to have the Master Sword in his possession. Fi also helped him tremendously with guiding him on how to use his powers without harming everyone and everything. He still hates using his Fairy powers. He also love Pixies (what regular fairies in LoZ are now, they’re like Fairy companions).

FSA: Fairy of Light(Common) - Li - Winx - All 4Sword users are Fairies of Light, as the 4Sword can only be wielded by one. I’m talking about FSA Link-specifically the manga version-because he’s the most interesting one, sorry not sorry. He didn’t know he was a Fairy-actually all of the colors didn’t know they were Fairies until the very end, using their magic to defeat Ganon. Li then practices his magic with his Zelda after all that.

BotW + Totk: Fairy of the Wild(Special) - Wild- Winx - He puts no effort into furthering his Fairy powers. He didn’t even know he was a Fairy until Zelda told him after he rescued her(the Great Fairies tried to tell him, but he didn’t believe them). Especially after gaining Rauru’s arm, he believes that he can do everything he wants to without it. He would’ve reached Enchantix-or perhaps, something even more powerful-if he used his Fairy powers at all. His powers encompass all aspects of the wild, from the plants to the animals, from the clouds to the dirt. He only used his powers when he was traveling around with Wolfie, to keep track of him and ensure that he would always be healthy. He does unknowingly uses his powers, but it acts more like a sixth sense, helping him forage for food and to know exactly how loud or how hot he currently is.

AoC (+Pre-BotW kinda): Fairy of Fauna(Common) - Fauna - Enchantix - He doesn’t put much effort into using his Fairy powers. He isn’t even aware of what he can fully do with his powers (that’s why he thinks he only has control over fauna). After all, he does try to have the Master Sword on his person at all times. But Zelda and the Champions force him into practicing from time to time, and he even uses it during the war a few times. He earns Enchantix after defeating Calamity Ganon.

ST: Fairy of Lost Spirits(Special) - Spirit - Charmix - He can commune with spirits and that’s…mostly it. He can also guide lost spirits (Poes) to the afterlife, and stuff. Maybe he can borrow a spirit’s powers? Honestly his powers and Wild’s in-game powers kinda overlap, with Wild being about to use the Champions’ powers and being able to collect Poes and give them to the Bargainer Statues. I think there should be a reason for that in this AU, but I can’t think of something yet.

Here are some Links/Heroes that either aren’t Fairies or I just don’t know what to do with them yet.

SwSw: He’s not a fairy, he’s just some guy. Idk what he should be called tbh.

MC: He’s the forger of the 4Sword, but I don’t really see him as a fairy, like with SwSw. But he would be a Fairy of Light if he was one.

AlbW + TH: I don’t know if I want to combine him with Alt yet. It he’s his own person, I’m thinking of making him Alt’s son. Maybe he hasn’t started his adventure yet during the Links Meet.

Hero of Men(MC): He’s just some guy, not a fairy. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have magic though, thank you Light Force.

Ancient Hero(TotK): He’s a demigod, not a fairy. Well, he’s half-fairy, like most of the Links, but his Zonai godhood overrides those powers. In fact, it takes a long, long time until Hylia’s powers(she’s a fairy god to put things in the simplest terms)shine through the bloodline.

First Hero(SwSw manga): idk what to do with this one. He exists, I guess? He’s mostly important for making the Goddesses Sword in this AU, which is honestly a very, very big deal.

I don’t know what to do with most of the Zeldas yet, but I do have some ideas, in the same format as the Links. The Zelda are also all Fairies of Wisdom. Onto the info:

OoT + MM: Fairy of Foresight(Special) - Oracle - Charmix - She can see the future idk man. She also has exceptional actual foresight, being able to predict enemies attacks easily. Doesn’t mean she’s good at dodging them tho lamo. In the Adult timeline she would have Enchantix.

AoC + BotW + TotK: Fairy of Flora(Common) - Flora - Tearix - She’s the first Fairy in her bloodline after Sonia, her powers having had taken a long time to manifest at all. She loved flowers beforehand though, obviously.

WW + PH: Fairy of the Seas(Common) -   Tetra - Enchantix - Power over the Seas! She uses her power a lot to help steer her ship. Not much to say really, I feel like the title speaks for itself.

MC: Fairy of the Light Force(Common) - Force - Winx - I’m just putting this here to say that the title changes to Fairy of Wisdom as time passed, so what that means for this Zelda is that she doesn’t really have any special title, ha.

Now onto the Fairy Forms. Fairy Forms go like this(in this AU at least), from weakest to strongest:

Winx - Standard Form for all Fairies. Simple outfit and wings, outfits are usually a solid color or have two similar and/or complementary accent colors. Wings are either a solid color or have an accent color very similar to the other color. Wings are small and simple.

Charmix - Obtained after overcoming a great personal difficulty. The gain of a little charm is the only visible difference from the standard form. Gives a short, but powerful, boost to a Fairy’s power.

Enchantix - Show great sacrifice, considered to be a “full-fledged” Fairy. There are a lot of powers, like shrinking(im not including that in this AU because I feel bad for MC Link), and neutralizing dark magic, among just making a Fairy stronger. Wings are bigger and are semi-transparent save for the outlining. Jewels hang off of them. Flowing clothes with long, barefoot sandals. Long sparkling gloves and some jewelry. There is also a change in hairstyle, which is also flowing.

There are many Fairy Forms and it’s all very complicated, but for this AU and I think in Winx, after Enchantix, additional Fairy Forms can be gained-and one can go back to Enchantix after reaching the new Fairy Form-at any point after meeting certain conditions. Here are the new Fairy Forms that I made up because it’s fun and I honestly hate most (not all I love you Believix and Sirenix) of the ones that are in the actual show. Now onto my Fairy Forms:

Fiercix - A cursed Fairy Form only obtained by wearing the Fierce Deity mask. The outfit has less armor than Fierce has in game, but it’s mostly the same. The wings are simple and sharp, they’re helix-shaped, like the sword Fierce wields. One must have reached Enchantix to even have a chance of keeping yourself sane. It gives one great power, and drives one to use it mercilessly. Typically, one can’t use it for long before the power seeps away from them. But if you practice, if you’re unwavering in your ambition to push yourself to becoming stronger holds…then one might lose themself to the spirit within the mask. They achieve Fiercix permanently, at a cost.

Twilix - A special Fairy Form only obtained by preforming a great, selfless deed for the Twili and Twilight Realm. It’s like Enchantix, but you need to save the Twilight Realm specifically. Ani essentially obtained both Enchantix and Twilix at the same time. Twilix allows the user to freely travel to and from the Twilight Realm, without the use of the Mirror of Twilight. So Minda and Ani can be together after all hehe. Twilix also gives the user the ability to travel through and manipulate shadows, but this power only extends to themself and people who are very physically close to them. Like if they’re hugging or holding hands. A Twilix Fairy also look like Twili, with black markings covering parts of their body, with those blue, glowing markings accompanying them. Their hair also takes on a blue hue as well. Their wings are also black with blue markings, and they resemble moth wings. Ani’s wings specifically resemble a Luna Moth.

Tearix - A unique Fairy Form only obtained after freeing oneself from Dragonification. The user is able to access a portion of the power they gained from their time as a dragon, but their mind still remains intact. Their Fairy Forms are wingless (gasp! the heresy!) but they are still able to fly nonetheless. Flora’s outfit is basically her Zonai outfit, but with a headpiece with her horns on it, similar to the Dragon Armor.

I've always wondered. Is his name pronounced wrio-the-slay? Or, wrio-thus-lee?

Hi, anon! I won't lie, I still have to correct myself in regards to how it's pronounced - but to my understanding, it's pronounced Rye-sley! That can very well differ, but that is how they say it in-game. I've also heard Rye-slee used before!

However in other languages, it seems the W-uh sound is more predominantly used as opposed to silencing it.

My easy way of getting around this is thus:

I just call him Emo Man.

how do you do colored lineart as well as black lineart???

For every part of like,, a drawing, I draw lineart on separate layers (like let's say, I draw the hair first, then in another layer I draw the head and the arms, etc)

After I'm done w all that, I put in base colours, and after that, I try to colour in lineart hahah

I always use darker shades of that certain colour for a specific part tho (like let's take my pfp, the purple for the shirt is darker) but sometimes if the colour is already dark I colour the lineart a bit lighter

For black lineart, man idk that's just my default style when it comes to drawing that's why I made a brush specifically for lineart and it's the one I used for my pfp hahah
