“The ear? This man really pulled a George Weasley 😭”
I am a bit ashamed to admit that was the first thing I thought of when the news reached me this morning.
The second thing I thought was “Should have pulled a Fred Weasley instead and done us all a favour!”
Hope y’all are having a good day because if George Weasley becomes the new George Washington then LGBTQIA+ Americans are doomed 😁

Garage Sale
Well, when the Fentons decided to have a garage sale Danny didn't expect many to be interested. His parents were looking for a way to get money quickly to build more stuff, and he jokingly suggested they could sell some inventions, they took it seriously (Jazz made sure to remove all the lethal inventions, she tried with the ones that might be risky but then they wouldn't sell anything).
Danny knew his parents were strange yes, but he wasn't sure that justified millionaires in his backyard. Millionaires, he'd like to clarify, had never set foot in Amity Park before. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of Bruce Wayne and his sons checking out the appliances. None of them seemed to be interested in the "ghosts" but they hadn't backed down from taking some things either.
So yes, Danny was suspicious. Of course he had made sure the inventions in the sale were safe (although unlike Jazz, he simply decided to make them safe, a few modifications here and there), but the fact that they looked genuinely interested made him uneasy.
Were the Waynes interested in hunting ghosts?
He decided to try something, he crossed eyes with one of them and let his green eyes show before looking away, the boy looked alarmed. He approached him and asked, but Danny feigned ignorance, commenting that all the inventions were green and maybe he had been confused by the reflection (to be fair, most of his parents' inventions were green because of the ecto).
For his part, Bruce had received an alert from Justice League Dark, it seemed they had detected a strange energy, similar to magic, so the bats set out to investigate. They didn't expect to find a garage sale in a house in the middle of nowhere (Amity Park wasn't even marked on the fucking map). Nor did they expect advanced technology or mad scientists.
Bruce decided to pretend he had stumbled into town as "Brucie Wayne" and buy a few things. He shuddered to see that many inventions worked with Lazarus water. Jason, who had strangely agreed to come along, was also upset about the son of the scientists.
Bruce questioned whether he had found a family of villains in the making.

but what if I'm goth and mall goth? the original and the 'poser', the real and the fake, the one with both sides of the coin. the one who's in love with nu metal and goth music, intertwined together. my two demons, dancing and bopping to the beat.

How was to be in a gay relationship (klaine) on screen?
“It was fucking awesome man. I mean the main thing here, like not because I’m trying to be blasé about the obvious thing in this question because we are saying that this is a gay relationship, nowadays, we just call it a relationship on tv, but to contextualize it, a gay relationship on mainstream Fox Network, that’s a pretty cool thing to be a part of. I often equate my relationship to that whole experience to Slumdog Millionaire which is, if you are familiar with Slumdog Millionaire is a kid that gets ask a bunch of questions and he just so happens to have the experience to answer this very specific things, now being cisgender straight kid you go 'oh oh what? are you going to allow this guy to talk gay shit?', I’ve been so culturally queer my whole life, not because I’m trying you know, actually, I was gonna say not because I’m trying to be cool but I’m gonna erase that, is because Iam trying to be cool. All the sh— in my life that I have tried to emulate, learn from and be inspired by are one hundred percent queer as f—. It was in queer communities that I’ve found people that I idolize, that I want to be, to learn something from. And I’d say that’s a gross generalization, that’s a lot of things and a lot of people. But I grew up in San Francisco in the ’90s. I watched men die. There was an awareness of the gay experience that was not a foreign concept to me. So, it was a narrative that I cared deeply about. I wasn’t like a f— saint or like 'I’m the man for the job', they hired me and they said, 'You’re the guy,' and I said, 'Okay, I’m the guy I will do my best, I will do my best to talk about it in the way I believe and a way that I’m passionate about'. So in many ways I’m glad that it was me because it was a thing that I really like showing up for and it meant a great deal to me that it meant a great deal to other people. Because when people say they were affected by that show or that relationship, it’s not because of me, it’s because of that relationship on a TV and the risks that people took to put that on TV and most important of all it took the people watching it to have the "aptitude" for seeing beyond what was maybe given to them in other avenues of culture. People of all ages, all spectrums of awareness say, 'I didn’t grow up with a show like that and it was a really meaningful thing for me to see,’ and I go ‘I didn’t grow up with a show like that’ and that would’ve been very meaningful for me too, you know?, regardless of the fact that I’m a straight kid. That has value. For anyone who’s been an underdog, we all know, in any shape or form — sexual, religious, biological, whatever — it has value because there’s going to be a lot of people who see that and go, 'Okay, I can now understand this in a context that maybe I wasn’t able to before'. So short story long, what was it like? It was a fucking privilege and I love talking about it and I’m so grateful I got to do it." - Darren Criss at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo Q&A | April 27th, 2024

sfth fandom appreciation post (aka me yapping about my personal experiences with this fandom for an entire post)
I know I talk a lot about how great the sfth fandom is, but genuinely, y'all are some of the loveliest people i've met on the internet. Like, ever.
I've been on the internet for a good portion of my life, but I've always been scared to join new spaces and fandoms. Amongst the fandoms that I do join, most end up becoming toxic which just adds to the anxiety. This basically means that while I've been familiar with fandom culture for quite a while, there are very few fandoms that I'd say I'm actively a part of.
I'm gonna be honest, I was incredibly scared when I first joined the fandom a couple weeks ago because the community felt so tight-knit that it felt like I was intruding on a private gathering. Nonetheless, I tried stepping out of my comfort zone and all I can say is that it was so worth it. Y'all are so sweet and talented and some of the most welcoming people ever, and that really means a lot for someone like me who's entering a new fandom.
All of that is to say, being in the sfth fandom has eroded just a little bit of that fear of stepping out of my comfort zone. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all :]

how would touya nii react to reader calling him a pervert (playfully or not heheh)
okay i love that you added the (playful or not) AHAHA because his reaction definitely differs depending on your tone + the context and situation in which you say it!!
tw: noncon, pseudocest
if it’s said playfully, giggled out with girlish swats at his shoulder and fluttery glances through thick lashes then he’s laughing with you, low and smooth and with twinkling eyes, murmuring out oh, yeah? pervert, huh? i’m gonna show you just how much of a pervert your niichan can be, between stringy saliva-streaked kisses and scrapes of his teeth along the curve of your neck.
if it’s said in a serious way, spit with vitriol and sharply narrowed eyes and a screwed up face then he is just as venomous in response, features all puckered as if he’s disgusted you’d even say such a thing, thinly veiling the offence simmering beneath, the hurt. he hurls your words right back at you, says that if he’s a pervert then surely you must be one, too—after all, you do beg your big brother to fuck you so desperately, so pathetically, so goddamn obscenely, and maybe he should film you next time, hm? to show you just how perverted you are for your niichan, yeah?
he doesn’t let up with it, either—he’s relentless, holding you down with both wrists collected in a single massive palm as he spits out insults—if he’s a pervert, then you’re a filthy little whore, aren’t you?—flecks of saliva splattering across your cheeks, his voice lacking any of it’s usual sugared condescension, mean and cruel and so, so sharp. he tells you he’ll give you a demonstration of just how disgusting and depraved you are—you both are—right here, right now, shoving your dress up and your panties down and his cock into you in three swift motions.
only nasty little perverted girls like their big brother defiling them, right? only deviant little girls beg their big brother to fill them up with cum, don’t they? you’re just as fucked up as he is, baby, don’t you forget it.

Do you want to know the type of Gavi fanfic that I dislike?
The one where they put Gavi as a jealous mad man. He is literally jealous of a man breathing the same air as you, even when the man is in another continent.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still reading it sometimes because the storyline is good. But when that nonsense of Pablo being obsessed with nobody looking at the reader is just. Too much.
Any fanfic you dislike? Tell me 🙊🙈

Just posting this for the ppl who LOVE to push the FANON narrative that Jason and Percy aren't close friends as CANON. Grover is listed as Percy's main best friend (along with Annabeth ofc but she remains in the girlfriend category) and Jason comes literally SECOND in the Official Riordan wiki fanpage, and he's even labelled as "one of percy's best friends" not just "friend" or "close friend" like the others.
I don't get why people deny this SO bad like- pls let the almost nonexistent rivalry they both had (which is mostly between Jason and Percy fans) stay fanon.
"Jason and Percy are just co workers, barely even friends" Yup. Sure. I was so mislead by this narrative before I picked up HOO and was pleasantly surprised by how genuine percy and jason's friendship was in the books.. I half expected them both to ignore eachother or something throughout the scenes with how much the fandom exaggerated their rivalry/coldness with eachother.
Fanon is awesome. But it's not when you push it as canon. Let them be two seperate things please.

Been floating around the Lore Olympus Critical tag and I gotta tell you, the second to last episode of this series is actually kind of a joke.
Like I *wish* any of what was going on felt like it was supposed to matter. But it just seems like I was dragged around being promised some kind of story to be met with what is the equivalent of watching paint dry.
Ouranos was set up to be the penultimate villain, the final bad thing, and OF COURSE, he acts just like Kronos in terms of childish villainy, and there is just no pay off to any of this.
Oh. And Metis and Rhea got summoned from the not dead anymore because... I guess?
And like, all of the fertility goddesses just fused together and are obviously going to win because girl boss power? And I'm all about that sure but... Mind you that Persephone is a totally shameless and advantageous person with her position as queen of the underworld. Hera is, putting it mildly, a bitch and a racist-- MINIMUM. Metis was extremely manipulative of her daughter and kind of to Zeus as well, not including the fact it was later implied she certainly could have done more to help the usurping. Rhea is probably the "least" problematic of the bunch but also at the same time IS SHE THOUGH?
I dunno, I'm glad it's over. Can't believe I made a text post about this, but I wanted to throw my two cents somewhere while watching my husband play Mass Effect 3 lol.

Are the fear entities canonically the only gods that exist in the tma universe? The implications of that would be pretty interesting. Because that means any godly thing that ever happened, and that populations attributed to their gods, were caused by one of the fears. Imagine: Any natural disaster happening, people going "The wrath of a god! Punishment for all our sins!" when actually it was just the Vast or the Desolation or smth having a feast.
(Okay i'm gonna say it: Jesus is pretty avatar-coded. This guy died and then came back in a new state of being. Does that remind you of anything?! So what would he be, a Flesh avatar, because Christians are supposed to eat him and drink his blood?)
