ART RAMBLES: as i mentioned on the tags of my last drawing this piece gave me SUCH a headache #i think it's probably cos it was just supposed to be a quick sketch so i used a more stable pencil brush #but then i really liked it so i decided to properly colour it instead of just doing the watercolour thing i usually do for sketches #but with finished pieces i like the lineart to be kinda messy and the sketch to even show through bit #and since i used the more stable brush for the sketch it ended up looking WAY too clean. not like my stuff at all.#so i just started throwing stuff at the wall to see what could make it more interesting. full background! actual lineart! texture layers!#and this here is what i was the happiest with. i don't... love it though. it should be looking way more interesting given the pose #and then i also did the purge girl halfway through this and it looked SO good right out of the bat (pun intended)#so i went a bit into a spiral. did some realistic stuff i'll post soon. and now am trying out a thick black lineart style.#(i'll definitely still use the coloured lines for the sketchy watercolour stuff though. it just looks way too cute)

it’s kind of interesting to find points where these characters are kind of tangled up in each other. does anyone else remember that episode of jimmy neutron where sheen and them had to manually detangle jimmy and cindy for plot reasons i don’t recall and like, pick through their traits and skills one by one to redistribute them. that’s what it feels like i’m doing pulling augustus and the changeling out of my head. anyway today i decided that augustus fantasizes about being a service dog a lot and probably fits into the broader furry fandom more than the changeling does.

#N posts stuff #like thinking about it. i think she’s fond of the more tactile/cutesy fursuit details and terminology #like big Huggable tails and paws referred to as ‘bappers’ and such #i think i said previously that changeling couldn’t afford a fursuit but i don’t think it’d be particularly interested in having one actually #¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it has its ears and tail and Refers to itself as a wolf but doesn’t necessarily have any complicated Fantasies about any of it #but it doesn’t have or want an ‘owner’ whatever it is it’s its own #but Augustus likes the idea of a service dog but specially Being a service dog bc the dog is the thing that isn’t supposed to be #touched or talked or looked at and doesn’t go anywhere by itself and only has to focus on its specific job while it’s out and about #as opposed to the handler who has the dog so that they can do other things. augustus just wants to come along and not worry abt it for once #and back on the furry level i think she’d enjoy a fursuit more than changeling would on basically every level #bc they’re often cutesy and cartoonish which she’d like more tjan changeling #and also i imagine warm and contained which she’d like a Lot but changeling would feel smothered and overloaded #and also would kind of give her that ‘you can look at me but you can’t touch me And you can’t see ME actually at all technically #and also she’d be fluffy and soft :3 #sorry if you’ve been hoping i’ll move out of this project and back to a recognizable fandom i fear it may not be happening anytime soon #ANYWAY now im gonna draw augustus in a service dog jacket like mine. but more detailed bc she actually does have a handler :33c #i like you too

#999 spoilers #art summary #art summery 2023 #my art #shoutout to all my monster high drawings that are still in the oven #I haven't posted them anywhere but! my friends made them pins and I've sold them on cons throughout the year :3 #I only started drawing them as a request from a boothmate actually and they're such fun designs to draw!!!#I went to a lot of local conventions to participate in the artist's alley and made so many friends that way it was wonderful #I think the next thing I'll reblog will be the game I worked on!#found out the nda doesn't cover me simply saying 'hey I worked on this thing coming out in a few months!'#so I made artist and cosplayer friends selling my art on the beach and I got my first proper job #....then I proceeded to give me a shoulder inflammation because my setup was terrible and it had to catch up to me eventually #but! already managed to get a new tablet and desk for myself!! it's even a screen tablet so there'll be a learning curve but I'm excited #I'm hoping this display will make things easier I always had trouble sketching on digital #and I am more carefully taking breaks now also because turns out relying on hiperfocus is bad for you? never knew #I was going through some stuff in the middle of the year there though I had so many vent drawings of akane from may to october qwq #not featured here are the tons of utena and umineko wips I have accumulated those were my favorite new media I got to experience for sure #in fact I'm watching the adolescence movie rn!! what in tarnation is this last act lol whatever! go Anthy go!!! floor it queen #also not featured the tons of oc stuff I made :D I'm glad I feel like I can start properly working on them soon ^^#but yeah that's that I felt like writing a whole diary entry in these tags and you read it and that's what tumblrs all about ♡♥︎

I SWEAR I KEEP TRYING TO DO ART BUT THEN SOMETHING GETS IN THE WAY AND THEN I PROCRASTINATE AND THEN SIX MONTHS PASS

#this has been happening for like TWO YEARS BUT I SWEAR TO GOD I AM TRYING.#my usual art motivation (my webcomic idea) has been put on hold for a bit and because of that i forgort... everything #my will to draw specifically #but in my defense i have been writing k*arlach / oc indulgences and i've been VERY focused on finishing it #i also got a marketing manager (my friend <3) to help with advertising my comms and stuff so uh... look forward 2 that #i might need to start posting all of my art on a sideblog so she doesn't have to log into my main though #so there might be some changes #but i promise i want to do art!!!! but there's always something to do first and then months pass :(#or i get the urge to draw and then life is like ''have a cancer scare'' lmao...#(ended up being cancerous actually </3 but because it's skin stuff it was easy to remove)#(but that really took the piss out of me for most of july... not to mention that ffxiv released a new expansion and i have been...#having a good time with my new friends doing content and stuff!) i also made a friend irl after like 3-4 years of total isolation #we feed ants and watch them move around together and comment on their behaviour patterns...#but like when i say this takes literal hours.#we just sit out there and talk about random shit and watch ants walk across the floor. both of us hate ants btw.#like we don't like having them ON us so it's a bit like playing with fire.#but anyways yeah i've also been really low energy recently too bc of the heat and burnout from college...#but the good news is that i'm transferring in fall to a much more relaxing college & courseload!#i'm hoping it'll stop me from feeling so... awful ?? i guess ??#like i was taking classes i didn't need to that were really difficult & punishing #not to mention extremely boring & hard to pay attention to when dealing with literally anything. i did not want to be there.#my next college is much more interest-oriented so i will finally be able to take classes i want to and learn from them...!#and then maybe i will feel a bit more in control of my life / more encouraged to draw #anyways thank u for reading my ramble. hoping it all comes together soon.#i need to do a lot of work but most of it is so i can sell commissions again #but once the karlach fic is done we're so back on the webcomic train !!!!!!!!

started thinking about my ideas for what luna mothews could be like in g3 last night so here's what i got so far...

luna is now a ya'llternative 15 year old moth girl from point poison, west goreginia, where she was raised by her single dad, mason mothews (aka mothman.) she's a full-on cornbread communist, being extremely outspoken about the things she cares about and is very active in local community outreach efforts. being apart of monster high's student council, she is prone to butting heads with draculaura despite the two getting along fairly well otherwise. she is also the head writer of the school's student newspaper, the gory gazette, and works along with paper's photographer & her best friend, lorna... if only the paper wasn't on the verge of being shut down due to lack of readership. her biggest love outside of activism and writing is singing, she's killer on the bango and her biggest inspiration is pete seagrrr. her favorite candy is black licorice jelly screams and she has a pet raccoon named waffle.

#i love the IDEA of luna so much so i hope g3 retools her into a character that utilizes mothman's lore & locale more #a lot of the details for luna here is inspired by stuff i've found out randomly about mothman's presence in point pleasant #like did you know that people were leaving offering of beans at the mothman statue?#and what inspired her pet's name is the trend of ppl drawing mothman chilling at waffle house #i can go into more depth about why i decided on different details later #if she doesn't get added soon i may just make a custom of her w/ draculaura...#i would need to figure out how to make stable wings for her but i feel like that wouldn't be too hard #monster high #mh g3 #luna mothews #mj.txt

Okay, I have Bloodborne gaming question

How TO enter specific dungeons glyphs? I honestly don't know, I keep seeing videos of players just set up a chalice dungeon by entering a glyph, but I do NOT see a field for this. And so far the only even remote explanation I could gather is that I have to be online at least once for data on them to load, is that true?

I've never entered Bloodborne online in my life lmao - physically can't do that because of my location - but I think I am onto a way to walk around this problem recently, so I want to know whether it's worth it? Guys if you can help let me know, I deadass can't find a coherent explanation what to do ANYwhere
