PSA !

while i had already done a soft launch of my carrd on the pinned post and blog links, i can now officialy say that it's done! it took way longer than it should have, but everyone finally has stats and bios and everything ready~ one important thing to note, tho: anyone that has followed me for awhile will quickly noticed that i shrunk down the amount of muses i have up considerably. from the hundreds i had before, i have only kept the strongest and most active muses on my carrd and moved the rest to a doc, under selective muses. however, no threads or plots will be dropped. those muses are still available for interaction, just under certain circumstances and might require some more plotting. would also like to take this opportunity to give a huuuuuuuuge thanks to @sunchases for all the help he's given me in setting everything up and working with pics, you were amazing and i could not have done it w/o you 🥺💜 ily ok

also I miss just talking on here so I’ll share a little tmi. the other day my bestie and I had a sleepover in which we had an I-land performance marathon (previously we did an enha MV marathon bc we’ve been in deep discussion about them and the &team lore) and then we learned the bite me choreo. I think my legs are still sore bc that choreo was anything but easy (even though we weren’t expecting it to be)

day 29: sevika

it's not like sevika had never thought about it before- silco dying, that is. hell, she'd been considering knocking him off herself just a few days ago. she'd had her time to consider where she'd go next, who her next best option to advance the cause would be.

she's just pissed off that the answer was jinx.

she's hated the kid for years, but zaun chose, and it chose her. her options were jinx or abandoning the cause, and she's not willing to do that. it makes logical sense, really: she's the next closest tie to silco, and now with the council in jeopardy, if there was a single person in zaun who didn't know her name, they sure did now.

"do you think it should have a scoreboard, so you can get points when you punch people really hard?" jinx looks up from the scraps of her arm for a split second. she doesn't wait for a response- she never does. "of course it should, what am i saying?"

the way sevika sees it, zaun wants the jinx they've convinced themselves exists: the girl who's some kind of mad genius with a grand plan, capable of subterfuge and show in equal measure, silco's daughter, ready to lead them into glorious battle. they don't know jinx like she knows jinx: genius, maybe; mad, definitely; but ultimately aimless, impatient and childish. when jinx graffitis half the city, it's not to strike fear into the hearts of topsiders, it's for attention. everything she does is for attention.

she tries to keep her voice even through her irritation. "how long is this going to take?"

jinx hums, wide eyed and sarcastic. "i don't know. do you want it to work or just be for display?"

fucking childish.

there's nothing to be done now, though. sevika rolls her eyes and sits back in the chair again, taking a drag from her cigarette and rubbing her shoulder above the wound where the burn starts.

she's never really had leadership aspirations. working under someone who has a good enough plan has always been enough for her; as long as it gets her where she wants to go, she's willing to do her part from the background.

the keyword, though, is plan. jinx doesn't have that.

between the two options she's been presented with, sevika's decided on the third one. zaun chose, and so she'll fall in line, but she's not going to take it lying down.

maybe jinx doesn't have a plan. sevika, though? she's been working on this for most of her life. she has one. sevika's become very familiar with pushing jinx's buttons over the years, too, and gods, does she make it easy to push her. all she's got to do is steer the kid in the right direction.

it won't take much to make her the hero zaun thinks she is. sevika's just got to put up with her until she gets there.

The unmistakable sound of footsteps approaching begins to fill the air. Whoever is coming seems to have brought some company along…

They are getting closer… and closer… and closer…

……until..................

"Goooooood evenin'!!" Comes the loud greeting from a certain blond man. A big smile on his face and all.

"We beg your pardon for our prolonged absence. It was completely beyond our control..." Then adds the gentleman standing by his side, apologizing on behalf of both, offering a genuine smile along with the apology.

"...BUT! We're back!" And hopefully for good this time…

i think its weird that i have to make this disclaimer but the internet is crazy so wtvr,, anyway,,

if i say i dont like something, that doesnt mean "that thing is bad and nobody should post it.."

i swear literally every time i even mention that i dislike something, people will go "wow does that mean u fucking hate me cuz i post that thing? ur a fucking stupid bitch and all ur opinions r wrong" LIKE ?? er.. no. just because i say i dont like certain characterizations of certain characters (the saiki k fandom is CRAZY about this cuz i can state an opinion on literally any character and a group of people will still go 'well only we're allowed to post our opinions about them because we're always right!1!1!'), or certain ship tropes (mentioned my hatred of toxic yaoi maybe once or twice on here months ago and people STILL get mad at me as if i said toxic yaoi lovers r evil or something), or certain ships, or WHATEVER, does not mean that i HATE the people who are posting them or that i think they shouldnt post them at all, NO, im just posting about my personal tastes on my personal blog and it would be extremely weird and hypocritical if i decided that i was the ONLY person that was allowed to do that,,

i think the only reason people assume that is because there are a lot of other people on here who ARE like that, and a lot of people toe the line between posting that they dont like something and posting that they think everyone who likes that thing is stupid, annoying, and wrong,, so i guess all i can say is, sorry for whatever made you make these assumptions but they arent true about me so plz leave me alone ʘ‿ʘ ur doing the same thing to me that ur accusing me of but i didnt do it in the first place so ur just actively being a dick for no reason
