did elijah think he would be sharing a class with briar again after they graduated high school? not really, but perhaps a part of him had been sad upon realizing that in the past, even if he wouldn't admit to it out loud. that didn't mean that running into each other in a classroom again would be any less awkward given how things were between them before, though. still, elijah was determined to make the air between them a little lighter... or at least he hoped he could. shifting his weight from one foot to another as he held onto his books in front of his chest, he opened his mouth to retort, but quickly closed it before any words could come out. no, don't fall into old habits. instead, elijah quickly took the seat right next to briar before the other could change his mind about the whole thing. taking a breath, he turned his head to look at him and finally responded. " i just thought perhaps it would be nice to see what we could come up with it together. " instead of competing, for once.

elijah hwang was someone briar had every intention of leaving behind. maybe they'd run into each other during holidays or add each other on linkedin and passive aggressively comment on each other's posts with congratulations that weren't quite sincere, but instead ... they're classmates again, and briar has to make a decision when elijah stands in front of him, watching him speak with an expression that's hard to read. he's an adult, and the complicated feelings he has should be dealt with more maturely, right? "i didn't peg you as the type to have any problems being social," he comments, tapping his pen against his notebook. "but i guess if you want to use me as a safety blanket, by all means." he's neglecting to mention that he still hasn't really made a lot of friends yet and was probably going to just do the project alone. details, really.

" and hey, i just do my best giving advice, that's all. and can lend you things if you ever need too. you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff we end up getting after shoots, so my closet may be... slightly overflowing. " he laughed lightly again. " i'll be sure not to ask you for styling advice, but do you not make anything at all in the kitchen then? " kyungtae couldn't help asking curiously.

 hyunwoo  grinned,  immediately  catching  on  to  kyungtae's  playful  tone.  ❛  i  mean,  you  do  have  that  model  vibe.  you  are  all  style,  no  grease.  ❜  he  teased,  bumping  his  shoulder  lightly  against  kyungtae's.  he  crossed  his  arms,  smirking.  ❛  but  hey,  i'm  not  complaining.  you  are  the  guy  to  call  when  i  need  to  look  good.  ❜  he  paused  for  a  moment,  then  added  with  a  mischievous  glint  in  his  eyes.  ❛  just  don't  ask  me  to  cook  for  you  or  pick  out  clothes.  i  would  probably  burn  the  kitchen  down  and  dress  you  like  a  mechanic.  ❜  he  chuckled,  giving  his  friend  a  light  nudge.

tyler couldn't say such a sentence coming from parker was entirely unexpected, given the fact that he had heard the witch and namgil bicker quite a few times at this point. perhaps it was because he was used to it that tyler couldn't help letting out a soft chuckle at the sight. " unfortunately, that does just happen with cats... do you want me to help you brush them off, though? " he offered, smile on his lips.

" ah, that's true. there's a lot at stake here~ " gaeun teased lightly. the confidence in his tone and the smile she was given made gaeun let out a soft chuckle, a hint of fondness in her gaze as she looked at him and smiled even more. while she hadn't thought about going on a date with him before, she had to admit that his determination was truly endearing. at his question, gaeun hummed in thought for a second. " mm... where do you think would be the best place to watch? i'll go wherever you tell me to. "

            immediately feeling the inspiration hit once she was in view, wonjoo smiled widely at her pointing out his demeanor regarding the race, " i have no choice but to be. you see, i have an important wager connected to this race, and i don't intend to lose. " he says in full confidence, smiling toothily at her, " where are you going to be watching from ? are you going to be waiting at the finish line ? " he asks, wanting to know where she would be located for the duration of the race so he's able to search for her amidst the crowd.
