he feels him before he sees him , as he does with all of his family and ones held within heart ; it is a subtle shift in environment , magic flaring and reaching out in yearning and greeting , a shiver chasing itself down his spine to settle in warmth . it took only time spent entwined together to learn that it is yongtaek's unique energy entering enclosed space , and not any of the other's . he feels him as such , and then he feels hands settle atop gaze , effectively blocking the tome he is perusing ( there's a furrow twixt 'brows , as though parker intends to pretend he is still focused , when attention has turned lightning-fast to his boyfriend ) . a smile appears beneath hands , shiver racing back up to settle as anticipation and amusement in heart when playful tone brushes ear . although tyler would not take anyone's side when it came to parker and namgi, he couldn't help feeling a little bad for the witch upon seeing how much he was suffering with the cat fur that had been spread around the house. tyler wished he could help more, but there was only so much he could do — and kicking the familiar out was not an option in his eyes. " you definitely look desperate enough. " the psychic teased a little, knowing how stubborn his friend could be. " it would help, you know? "

he sniffles pathetically , sounding not unlike a child who is trying their hardest to stifle a petulant cry . with the way the witch's cheeks are ruddy red and nose akin to rudolph's , to an untrained eye it seemed as though he was crying mere moments ago . parker sniffles again , opening bleary eyes to level a stare on the other . " am i desperate enough to take medication ?? " yes , with the way he sounds and appears . but the witch is nothing if not stubborn and , despite his allergies aflared , he truly believes tossing one particular familiar out the window will alleviate all symptoms .

" i will, i will, i promise~ " iris responded in a playful tone that didn't sound all that reliable, but that was just how he was — it's not that he didn't care about being sick, but just that he had always been the type to let things happen naturally without worrying about the possible consequences as much as he probably should... which definitely included not really checking the weather forecast before leaving his apartment. as haoyu went into the other room, iris focused on getting his hair dry as much as he could, looking around curiously as he did so. when the other returned, he turned his gaze in his direction and smiled. " oh, thank you so much! those look comfy, i'll be quick~ " iris replied with a hum, grabbing the items from haoyu's hand before making his way to the bathroom. quickly changing into the clothes he was given and hanging his own in the best place he could find to dry them, iris made sure his hair wasn't dripping any water still before stepping out into the living room, looking around for where his friend was. " you know, you really don't have to worry too much about treating me, though. i promise i'm easy to please~ "

"Please always look out for your health, a cold can be dangerous," Haoyu thought he should start to carry an umbrella with him all the time again. The weather had been decent in the past few weeks so he had become a little careless with it. With that, he vanished into one of the other rooms to quickly change into a dry pair of clothes and collected all the other could use. "There we go, you know where the bathroom is so take all you need. I will make us some tea while you get dried up and see what my fridge is offering to go along with it. Since we didn't make it to the café, I'll do my best treating you here," he concluded with a quick smile. With the winter season coming to an end, his work at the theatre was on pause again but with preparation to leave soon for Chinese New Year, shopping hadn't been a priority. He prepared some tea and was thrilled to have found some biscuits, setting all up on the table while making the room as cozy as possible.

iris hadn't planned on getting soaking wet when he had left his apartment earlier that day, but he couldn't say he was too mad or bothered about it — he had always been the type to go with the flow without worrying too much, after all. " eh, a little rain never did me any harm! " he replied in a playful tone, looking at haoyu with a smile on his lips. " buuuuut... some dry clothes definitely wouldn't hurt either~ " iris continued with a chuckle, rubbing the towel against the back of his head and trying his best to make his hair stop dripping on the floor, at least. " as if some water would stop me from coming to see you and having a good time~ "

"They really didn't announce the weather would be that bad," he sighed. Haoyu was disappointed because he was looking forward to inviting the other to the little café he stumbled over some time ago, knowing they'd certainly enjoy the place. "If you need any other towel, I got plenty more in the bathroom as you know. I'll go through my stuff, I should have some shirts and comfy pants that work for you. No way we let you get sick after you put all the effort into visiting me." As much as he was disappointed how plans didn't work out, he couldn't entirely hide he was excited for them to be here now with him.

the bin twins didn't trust a lot of people outside of each other. in fact, for most of their lifes, they had only relied on themselves, keeping everyone else at a safe and comfortable distance. taeran, especially, found it hard to let other people get close, afraid to see disappointment in their faces the same way she had seen it in her parents' — even if she would never admit to that out loud. finch had been different, though. somewhere along the way, she had begun to occupy a bigger space in taeran's life, in her heart — and that should be nice, right? maybe, but it just made her absolutely terrified of things changing, of losing this.

so, it was better to just not think about it. if she didn't think about it, maybe it would all get sorted out without her having to do anything — unlikely, but a girl can dream. focusing on the conversation, taeran let out a chuckle. " no dinner for him, it's all about me today! " she replied teasingly, playful smile on her lips as she looked at finch. " okay, maybe some leftovers, if there are any. i'm feeling generous. "

finch knew how she felt about taeran. she knew why she'd trust taeran to watch her back; she knew why she's so reluctant to let her leave her arms. but it's fucking terrifying to show that. taeran wasn't some random girl she's met, she wasn't something casual and easy. she was, maybe, finch's best friend. but even that was too scary to admit. people left so often. they left even more if she said that she wanted them to stay. and so she didn't. "of course he does," finch laughed. (that's easier. casual is always easier.) "fucking weirdo. i'm glad he's okay though. too bad for him that he doesn't get dinner for all his efforts." and she was selfishly grateful that it was just her and taeran under the cover of the bus stop.

was sky often trying to get people to join whatever project and script he was working next?  maybe so, but what else could he do when he was working with a basically nonexistent budget?  putting on a nice smile, he tried his best to sound convincing as he spoke, even though people would often blow him off.  " you know, it's a short film and i just need someone to play this one character… i promise you that it's not that difficult or anything and it really won't take long! "
