Sighs okay here's my stupid borderlands self insert idea we ball

I haven't drawn em yet so just take this concept RAH- They're basically just. Me. But yknow Borderlands worthy.

Let's go with the name Kiran (Key-ran) for now I suppose.

He's an undertaker/hunter. Transmasc, obviously, but only some of his story takes place while he's medically transitioned. He was not born on Pandora, but he does spend time there. He travels round space to take care of business, that being doing funeral rites and such, but hunts actively on the side. He's got a companion creature with him, which he DOES take everywhere. It's a Jabber. What a silly creature... they hunt things together to sell, and normally it's not people- (But sometimes, sometimes it is.)

Kiran is knowledgeable about animals and wildlife because of his own interests, absolutely adoring the idea of Pandora's icy oceans. He also has a great deal of knowledge about major history, funeral proceedings, and murder methods. The last part due to his jobs. He isn't exactly bloodthirsty despite this, he's inclined to try to believe in the best in others so long as he's not wronged in the process.

Uh yeah. He's literally just me. But BL flavor. I'll have to make a whole design for him eventually but I'm not drawing anything right this minute. I think that he'd often be found actively strapped with weapons, and while he's not supremely wealthy he isn't struggling much either. How he got involved with Troy, I cannot say. But involved he is- Uhh yes, that's the base idea. Please feel free to ask questions because otherwise I will in fact end up forgetting to elaborate 🫶

You have made me interested in balloon smp but I feel so old and of touch because I cannot find the past streams on twitch. Cannot figure out where and in which order to watch...can I ask where you've been watching the videos/streams?

ok, so, there’s ~36 people all doing it concurrently, which is a lot. But! Here is the list of players, if you know someone you like on that list pick them and just watch sequentially day 1->finale. if you don’t know Anyone on there and you want a point to start at for just. Getting most of the plot, pick someone from A B or C. Or E. Team F has a really great plot but they stay a bit out of the overarching plot until the last weeks, and I haven’t gotten to team D yet so I don’t know what they know im sorry team d 🥺

Many of the players have VOD channels up on YouTube or playlists of balloon vods specifically, lots of people who don’t have the streams in their twitch archives somewhere (like, “past broadcasts” usually), look for player vod channels. Some don’t have saved archives and some didn’t stream it! I know for certain sophie robby skull kuu gibson buggle and jame have up to date vod channels because I’ve seen them… woops and skullvolver are making edited videos rn but theyre Both team a… and im not sure who else is planning on it!

tldr, pick someone and watch them in order and peek in on other peoples’ vods from time to time when something Happens because sometimes seeing it from another angle is cool. Also, sometimes seeing it from another angle is Important because there’s Lore no one else got to see. Search “playername vods” on YouTube and it should direct you to the right place.

Elissa glanced back over her shoulder at Senreth with a curious expression from where she sat on the riverbank. Sliding her eyes up towards the sky, she squinted and her expression twisted a bit at a bright shaft of sunlight that broke through the swaying tree limbs to blind her momentarily. Quickly, she looked down again and began blinking away the spots in her vision.

"It is," she replied distractedly, bending down to wring the water out of her long, black hair between her knees. It was the last day they'd be near enough water to bathe for a long while, and Elissa was not going to waste the opportunity.

The camp would be broken down soon and the small company of Wardens would set off west, accompanied by their... Well, the Warden Commander hadn't entirely decided how she'd class the Dalish elf. Thus far he had acted equal parts traveling companion, part guide through the Emerald Graves as they sought to investigate rumors of a veridium mine that had broken through to the Deep Roads.

Hastily tying up the heavy, still dripping mass of hair, she pulled a shirt down over her torso before getting to her feet and turning around to actually look at him. Senreth struck her as... odd... He was certainly different than any other Dalish she could remember encountering, and she wasn't able to pinpoint exactly why. It nagged and itched in the back of her mind.

"Wyatt said you stayed up last night when it was his turn to take watch," she said with a note of concern in her voice. Tilting her head a bit to get a straighter look at his face she gently prodded him with her words. "Did you sleep at all?"

In the very least - the sunshine was bright that morning.

With honeyed eyes fixating upon the distance, the beauty of vivid greens and lush grass, Senreth simply relaxed against a tree - observations continuing well into the morning. His uses were few aside from battle and decidedly did he remain out of the way of those more adept at setting up camp and readying plans.

His consciousness wandered, thoughts lurking upon facts he would rather forget ere he was distracted by the sights of a shadow in his periphery;

"Its a nice morning-" He wasn't particularly well versed at small talk, not when he had spent so long as bones and dust and was simply attempting to get his bearings once more; but one had to appear normal, after all- or as normal as one could muster.

Orphell's encounter with Lispen at the Tower

Did you ever wonder how Orphell came across Lispen at the Tower that time, or assume he just wondered into the wrong place at the right time by mere coincidence?

I think I finally figured out how this came about.

We see that when Deon informs Orphell of the current situation in the Tower, he's particularly responsive to matters concerning Kielnode.

This is possibly because he feels some loyalty for Kielnode as someone his senior in both being in the Tower and leaving it, and the person who motivated him to take the right course of action.

So it is quite possible that after exiting his room... he specifically went to search for Kielnode.

And how would he go about doing that?

By following the scent of his blood.

We saw back in Ishuella that Orphell seems to have a keen sense of smell, especially where blood in involved, to the degree he is able to pick up on the scent of any blood in the entire area.

Kielnode was clearly greatly injured from his tortures, and Deon's report itself infers this. So Orphell quite possibly followed the smell of his blood to track where he was taken, and by whom.

Following the scent of Kielnode's blood leads Orphell to find the culprit at the end of the trail.

Lispen is presumably on the balcony he flew off of with Kielnode to chain him to the cliffside, which is ultimately where the trail of blood would have ended inside the Tower.

In the end Orphell did manage to use all his skills of deduction and tracking to find the culprit behind it all... too bad it still didn't leave him prepared to confront who he truly was. 🥲

There is so much creative freedom with the designs of the characters in The Amazing Digital Circus, it would be a shame to not take advantage of it.

So here are what would be the only token romance within the show, Comcor and Sillow!

Comcor is inspired by the idea of a funky interactive nightlight to keep children company and comfort them as they go to sleep. Sillow is inspired by the nostalgic "shadow friend" you see in certain children's TV programs like Bear in the Big Blue House or Tik Tak.

Edit: through my exhaustion from a busy few-days-vacay, I wrote "inclination" and "tone" in my third picture, instead of just "intonation". Whoops.
