A mystic plant that grows in the heart of the forest. Seems to be sentient. Nurture it with Dendro Sigils collected in adventures to obtain the treasures of the forests.

Expeditions, Daily Commissions, and other new content will also be added in Sumeru.

II. New Characters

5-Star Character "Verdant Strider" Tighnari (Dendro)

◇ Vision: Dendro

◇ Weapon: Bow

◇ A young researcher well-versed in botany who currently serves as a Forest Watcher in Avidya Forest. He is a straight shooter with a warm heart — and a dab hand at guiding even the dullest of pupils.

◆ Tighnari has a special Charge Level 2 Aimed Shot and can be charged to fire a Wreath Arrow, dealing Dendro DMG. It also generates 4 homing Clusterbloom Arrows after hitting, dealing further Dendro DMG.

◆ Elemental Skill: Vijnana-Phala Mine

◆ Throws a Vijnana Stormheart ahead that deals AoE Dendro DMG, creating a Vijnana-Khanda Field that creates mysterious illusions that taunt opponents and draw their fire. Additionally, Tighnari gains the Vijnana Suffusion effect, which will decrease the Wreath Arrow's charging time. This effect will dissipate once the skill duration ends or after Tighnari has fired 3 Wreath Arrows.

◆ Elemental Burst: Fashioner's Tanglevine Shaft

◆ Fires 6 Tanglevine Shafts that can track opponents and deal Dendro DMG. After they hit, the Tanglevine Shafts will create a secondary wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal Dendro DMG on hit.

◆ The 5-star character "Verdant Strider" Tighnari (Dendro) will be available in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation" in the next Version.

4-Star Character "Sprout of Rebirth" Collei (Dendro)

◇ Vision: Dendro

◇ Weapon: Bow

◇ A trainee ranger active in Avidya Forest. Behind her enthusiastic words and actions hides a slightly introverted personality.

◆ Elemental Skill: Floral Brush

◆ Throws out a Floral Ring that deals 1 instance of Dendro DMG to targets it comes into contact with.

◆ Elemental Burst: Trump-Card Kitty

◆ Throws the doll named Cuilein-Anbar, causing an explosion that deals AoE Dendro DMG, creating a Cuilein-Anbar Zone. Cuilein-Anbar will bounce around within this zone, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.

4-Star Character "Treasure of Dream Garden" Dori (Electro)

◇ Vision: Electro

◇ Weapon: Claymore

◇ An elusive merchant who has a fondness for glittering Mora.

◆ Elemental Skill: Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon

◆ Directs a Spirit-Warding Lamp to fire off a Troubleshooter Shot at opponents, dealing Electro DMG. After the Troubleshooter Shot hits, it will create 2 After-Sales Service Rounds that will automatically track opponents and deal Electro DMG.

◆ Elemental Burst: Alcazarzaray's Exactitude

◆ Summons forth the Jinni within the lamp, that connects to a nearby character. The connected character will continuously restore HP based on Dori's Max HP, and will continuously regenerate Energy. When the connector between the Jinni and the character touches opponents, it will deal Electro DMG to them every 0.4s. Only one Lamp Spirit can exist at one time.

5-Star Character Traveler (Dendro)

◇ Interact with a Statue of The Seven - Dendro to resonate with the Dendro element, and use a new Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.

◆ Elemental Skill: Razorgrass Blade

◆ Deals Dendro DMG ahead.

◆ Elemental Burst: Surgent Manifestation

◆ Calls upon the might of the flora all around you, creating a Lea Lotus Lamp. This Lamp will deal continuous Dendro DMG to opponents within its AoE. The Lea Lotus Lamp will undergo corresponding changes after it comes into contact with Hydro/Electro/Pyro.

III. New Domains

Domain of Forgery: Tower of Abject Pride

◇ It is said that the deserts were once home to three sage-kings, one of whom remained lovely and wise till the very end. They parted ways eventually for the sake of the paradise they sought in their hearts. This place is called a "tower," but in truth was the temporary residence of one of these people when they were building that earthly paradise. If one stretches the past back even further, it was once a small shrine built to avoid the wind and the sand.

• Or complete the Archon Quest Prologue: Act II "For a Tomorrow Without Tears"

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain Weapon Ascension Materials.

Domain of Mastery: Steeple of Ignorance

◇ In the ancient past, man-made towers that could touch the skies were built all across the land. Though human hearts flowed downward, their souls aspired toward the high heavens. These towers would always fall, or collapse under their own weight and plummet into the depths. However, if one were to look at things at a grander scale, the heavens and earth are as one — no direction is truly different from another.

• Or complete the Archon Quest Chapter I: Act I "Of the Land Amidst Monoliths"

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain Talent Level-Up Materials.

Domain of Blessing: Spire of Solitary Enlightenment

◇ In ancient times, this was a great and beautiful place, seemingly made to bless the children of humanity. But the arrow of heaven would descend, making mountains out of flat land and burying the ancient capitol beneath the hills.

◇ Unlock Criteria:

• Reach Adventure Rank 22 or above

• Or complete the Archon Quest "Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom"

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain artifacts in the "Deepwood Memories" and "Gilded Dreams" sets.

Domain: Under the Umbrella's Shade

◇ The poets have it that spores, like trees, are connected to each other, and that all fungal beings in the world share a single dream. At the end of that dream, the spores would take on the forms of all things, and that all things would return to the beginning — return to being one — and that there would never again be boundaries. But the evolution of Fungi into sentient, locomotive beings was not something that happened in such primordial times. Regardless, this place has become fertile soil for Fungi to thrive.

Domain: Fragment of Childhood Dreams

◇ This was once a dreamland paradise of a child of the forest, constructed based on how other children would describe the woods. In their memories, the forest was incredibly vast, much like the world itself. The forest was also immensely deep, just like fate itself. Although the dimensions of the world and the true depth of destiny would ultimately disappoint, the fantasy of them endures deep within this nursery.

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain rewards such as Primogems, Dendro Sigils, and more.

Domain: The Dark Valley

◇ Legend has it that the moon once had a face. Under the fierce moon's face, like a white bow, the paths through the forest labyrinth would bring lost people to jade and amber dreams. This forest labyrinth has ceased to exist for hundreds of years — and yet even a hundred thousand winters must seem like a day in the garden of dreams.

◇ Unlock Criteria: Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above and fulfill certain criteria.

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain rewards such as Primogems, Dendro Sigils, and more.

Domain: The Coordinates of Sun and Rain

◇ According to the legends, the goddess who had command over plants would summon forth a spirit of timely rains, whose name was Varuna, or "water and sky." These same legends say that the now-deceased forest king used hedges and streams, and the children of the pomegranate used dreams and illusions to create a labyrinth as deep and intricate as the very roots of trees themselves, to defend the secret of sun and rain.

◆ Challenge the Domain to obtain rewards such as Primogems, Dendro Sigils, and more.

IV. New Equipment

1. New Weapons

Hunter's Path (5-Star Bow)

Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain the Tireless Hunt effect after hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack. This effect increases Charged Attack DMG by 160% of Elemental Mastery. This effect will be removed after 12 Charged Attacks or 10s. Only 1 instance of Tireless Hunt can be gained every 12s.

◆ During the event wish "Epitome Invocation," the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Hunter's Path (Bow) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!

End of the Line (4-Star Bow)

Triggers the Flowrider effect after using an Elemental Skill, dealing 80% ATK as AoE DMG upon hitting an opponent with an attack. Flowrider will be removed after 15s or after causing 3 instances of AoE DMG. Only 1 instance of AoE DMG can be caused every 2s in this way. Flowrider can be triggered once every 12s.

◆ You can exchange for End of the Line (Bow) and its refinement materials at the Sumeru Fishing Association.

▌Forgeable Weapons

Sapwood Blade (4-Star Sword)

After triggering Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, a Leaf of Consciousness will be created around the character for a maximum of 10s. When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 60 Elemental Mastery for 12s. Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field. The Leaf of Consciousness' effect cannot stack.

Forest Regalia (4-Star Claymore)

After triggering Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, a Leaf of Consciousness will be created around the character for a maximum of 10s. When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 60 Elemental Mastery for 12s. Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field. The Leaf of Consciousness' effect cannot stack.

Moonpiercer (4-Star Polearm)

After triggering Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, a Leaf of Revival will be created around the character for a maximum of 10s. When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 16% ATK for 12s. Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field.

Fruit of Fulfillment (4-Star Catalyst)

Obtain the "Wax and Wane" effect after an Elemental Reaction is triggered, gaining 24 Elemental Mastery while losing 5% ATK. For every 0.3s, 1 stack of Wax and Wane can be gained. Max 5 stacks. For every 6s that go by without an Elemental Reaction being triggered, 1 stack will be lost. This effect can be triggered even when the character is off-field.

King's Squire (4-Star Bow)

Obtain the Teachings of the Forest effect when unleashing Elemental Skills and Bursts, increasing Elemental Mastery by 60 for 12s. This effect will be removed when switching characters. When the Teachings of the Forest effect ends or is removed, it will deal 100% of ATK as DMG to 1 nearby opponent. The Teachings of the Forest effect can be triggered once every 20s.

◆ Explore Sumeru and complete certain World Quests to get items that can be exchanged for Forging Blueprints with NPCs in Vanarana.

2. New Artifacts

Deepwood Memories (4-Star and 5-Star)

◇ 2-Piece Set: Increases Dendro DMG Bonus.

◇ 4-Piece Set: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets' Dendro RES will be decreased by a certain percentage for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field.

Gilded Dreams (4-Star and 5-Star)

◇ 2-Piece Set: Increases Elemental Mastery.

◇ 4-Piece Set: Within a few seconds of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character equipping this will obtain buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members. ATK is increased by a certain percentage for each party member whose Elemental Type is the same as the equipping character, and Elemental Mastery is increased by a certain value for every party member with a different Elemental Type. Each of the aforementioned buffs will count up to 3 characters. This effect can be triggered once every few seconds. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.

V. Elemental Reactions

1. Catalyze

When creatures are affected by Electro and Dendro, the Quicken reaction will occur, which will render them Quickened.

When a Quickened entity is attacked by Electro or Dendro, they will trigger Aggravate and Spread respectively, which will increase DMG taken.

2. Bloom

When creatures are affected by Hydro and Dendro, the Bloom reaction will occur, generating a Dendro Core.

Only a certain number of Dendro Cores can exist at the same time. If new ones are created once this limit is reached, or if the duration of the existing Dendro Cores ends, the pre-existing Dendro Cores will explode, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.

When Dendro Cores come into contact with Pyro, they will trigger Burgeon, causing even greater AoE Dendro DMG. When Dendro Cores come into contact with Electro, they will trigger Hyperbloom, and transform into homing Sprawling Shots.

VI. New Event

"Graven Innocence" Event: Take part to invite "Sprout of Rebirth" Collei (Dendro)

During the event, complete the quest "The Unappreciated Carving" to invite the character "Sprout of Rebirth" Collei (Dendro). Help the staff in Acara Crafts find assistants and collect inspiration regarding toy-making to obtain Primogems, Crown of Insight, Character Level-Up Materials, Talent Level-Up Materials, and event-exclusive Furnishings, etc.

VIII. New Enemies

Jadeplume Terrorshroom

◇ The lord of fungal beasts that lives in the heart of the woods and in the company of its kin.

When it is hit by Electro attacks and Catalyze reactions, it will accumulate Activation. When it accumulates sufficient Activation, it will enter an Activated state. An activated Jadeplume Terrorshroom will unleash more fearsome attacks until it becomes exhausted.

Electro Regisvine

◇ A huge vine that has morphed into a monster through the conduction of high-voltage currents through the ley lines.

Its special Electro organ can condense into either a Waxing Stamen or a Waning Stamen. When the two types of stamens are present at the same time, they will attract one another and then unleash a powerful electrical explosion when they make contact.

Located at Lokapala Jungle

Floating Dendro Fungus, Whirling Electro Fungus, Whirling Cryo Fungus, Stretchy Pyro Fungus, Stretchy Anemo Fungus, Stretchy Geo Fungus, Grounded Hydroshroom, Winged Dendroshroom, Winged Cryoshroom

◇ Monsters with basic intelligence that evolved from spores.

When first hit by Electro or Pyro attacks, it will enter either an Activated or a Scorched state based on the elemental attack type used. Defeat this transformed fungus to obtain different types of rewards...

Eremite Axe Vanguard, Eremite Crossbow, Eremite Ravenbeak Halberdier, Eremite Linebreaker, Eremite Sword-Dancer, Eremite Desert Clearwater, Eremite Sunfrost, Eremite Daythunder

◇ A group of loosely-organized mercenary corps, with members using various kinds of weapons.

Of which, Eremite elites: Eremite Desert Clearwater, Eremite Sunfrost, and Eremite Daythunder will unleash the ominous spirit sealed in their weapons after taking a certain amount of damage to enter an Infused Form that greatly boosts their combat capabilities. Will enter a weakened state for a time once this Infused Form ends.

Ruin Drake: Earthguard and Ruin Drake: Skywatch

◇ A war machine that is said to be left behind by a now-destroyed nation. It mimics the appearance of the beings known as Vishaps.

Can periodically release a dangerous torrent of energy during combat and increase its own Elemental RES against the previous main type of Elemental DMG it suffered. Take this opportunity to attack their cores, and you may be able to immobilize this creature...

In addition, the Dendro Specter will be added in Version 3.0.

8. Adds Wood Conversion function for the Serenitea Pot: you can convert some Forging Ores into wood you have already obtained (The amount of conversion for each type of wood each week is limited).

9. Adds new Midlander Billets.

10. Adds Billet Conversion function in "Crafting Bench > Conversion" menu: Travelers can use Dream Solvent to convert Midlander Billets to Northlander Billets for the same Weapon type, or change Northlander Billets to Midlander Billets for the same Weapon type.

Updated the monster lineup on Floors 9–12 of the Spiral Abyss.

Starting from the first time that the Lunar Phase refreshes after updating to Version 3.0, the two Lunar Phases will be as follows:

Phase 1:

Efflorescent Moon

After characters deal DMG to opponents with a Dendro Core (including Burgeon and Hyperbloom), their ATK will be increased by 15% for 8s. This effect can stack up to 4 times, and can be triggered once every 0.1s.

Phase 2:

Reviving Moon

When a character triggers Quicken on an opponent, that opponent's DEF is decreased by 35% for 10s after they are affected by the reaction.

3. Adds the function to show the source of 5-star artifacts and to redirect to the corresponding Domain.

4. "Talent Reference" will no longer be displayed for trial characters in the "Character > Talents" menu.

After triggering Aggravate, Spread, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions, all nearby party members gain 20 Elemental Mastery for 6s. The durations of the aforementioned effects will be counted independently.

2. Hydro Resonance "Soothing Water" is adjusted to: "Affected by Pyro for 40% less time. Increases Max HP by 25%."

3. Electro Resonance "High Voltage" is adjusted to: "Affected by Hydro for 40% less time. Superconduct, Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Quicken, Aggravate, or Hyperbloom have a 100% chance to generate an Electro Elemental Particle (CD: 5s)."

● Other

1. Nagadus Emerald Sliver is now added to "Daily Commission" rewards.

2. Dendro Character Ascension Materials are now available through Synthesis and Conversion.

3. Adds "Dendro DMG Bonus" to the primary attribute of the Goblet of Eonothem artifact (Due to the addition of this attribute to Goblet of Eonothem, the percentage of getting the primary attributes of DEF%, HP%, and ATK% will be reduced, while the percentage of getting other primary attributes will not change.)

Update and Mod Apps

Hi all!

Thanks so much for being so patient with us as we get this event up and running for 2022.

Currently, we're finalizing the schedule and getting the sever set up. Right now, our rough timeline is to run the event from mid-July to the End of October.

A Small Update!

Just making this post to say that I'm going to be going away for a few days - which will basically a small hiatus for this blog - and most likely won't be able to post here for a little while. The reason I say this is because, with the nature of 'The Jonicles' (which is writing the entry and then immediately posting it to keep with the chronology of each entry), any entry that may be written will be posted a few days after the fact. I know Sera isn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea, and I’m a very anxious pom for a multitude of other reasons too, including just straight up having anxiety. When you add in a dose of really poor experiences in the past 6-ish years, I’m kindda naturally wary and very much just prefer to like promos and pinned posts as a ‘dip your toe in the water’ kind of thing, and run from there. Very thankful to everyone who returns it with likes or a follow, ‘cause it’s so much less anxiety inducing to be slow and not just yeet myself at someone who might not be interested from the get-go and potentionally bother them TwT <3

I don’t follow for follow anymore, again largely because of anxiety. I’m a descriptive writer and especially with Sera, I like to give an insight of her thought processes and make clear her body language, since that often says a lot she isn’t saying herself, or may not know how to say, and this regularly results in me writing at minimum 3 paras per reply. I can’t do one-liners to save my life and single-para usually turns into multi within a few replies anyway, but if you let me run away with things I can easily give you back 7-9 paras. XD I try not to do that much, though, and only ever ask for at least one para back if I gave 3? Just... Something to work with for the next reply. <3

I’m not ignoring anyone or dropping them - I’ve recently started coming to terms with the fact my health is literally a dumpster fire, and there’s a LOT of BS that goes on offline that helps sap my ability to write alongside it to the point I can sit down intending to write, but nothing happens. I never lose the muses - I get

tired

, emotionally, mentally, and physically and can’t focus, and being productive gets put off for another day. Or I can only get one reply done and then the brain candle fizzles out.

As for the order, I tend to go into my tracker if my activity doesn’t turn up anything recent and grab whatever’s been sitting the longest, OR whatever is shrortest and I have the MOST muse for? Again, it’s not stiffing anyone or playing favorites - It’s more letting Sera and the listed dates in the tracker pick, and usually trying to fo them from most number owed to smallest. @w@ Somday we’ll get the hang of making this speedy again....

What types of themes do you like?

I’m really picky about tragedy and violence, and even really angst sometimes? I very much prefer to be on the same page as my partner and get to know them before I delve TOO deep into these topics for comfort’s sake, and I really, REALLY dislike violence just for the sake of violence - Nothing agains the people who like it, it’s just not for me~!

I also adore shipping, and anyone can tell I love the ship I have with my Zack and the relationship between him and Sera, but as further covered later, I’m not really into willy-nilly ships or making it a like, main priority with nothing else going on. I’m super picky on my romance and domestic plots, too, but I adore seeing famlial bonds pop up betwen muses! <3

WHAT GENRES DO YOU LIKE? ( Feel free to add! )

I have a weakness for fantasy, which is why the Spellbound verse exists, obviously. XD I’m picky af on Sci-fi and prefer to plot that rather than just jump into something randomly and I outright refuse to do horror (I have a muse with a verse for Resident Evil based stuff on another blog when that itch needs scratching and even then I’m insanely picky on it, call me a horror chicken, especially since I SUCK at fight threads and have slowly working on that XD), but for the most part I’m usually down for a lot? ...Except smut. I do write it, but only with partners I’ve known forever and a day, and only off-dash.

Are there any themes you’re uncomfortable writing on your blog? (Not triggers)

I have a lot of things that aren’t really triggers, but are darker topics I don’t like actually writing out - Things like Sera’s backstory, for example. There’s absolutely no need to write them out in detail and make them the focal point of a thread, but as a backstory element, I’m not as bothered by it because it’s mentions and not like, going all out detailed fanfic of abuse kinds of things. Flashbacks and memories in a thread? Cool. Actually writing the event as it’s happening with detail, as in writing out an assault as a drabble or in thread form? No. Nope. Absolutely NOT. I want to be respectful with the things portrayed here and they’re not to be treated like some trivial deal, and to fixate on them when there’s no reason or trigger for it makes me wildly uncomfortable.

I’m also uncomfortable with the topic of mpreg (Just straight up ‘this man can magically be pregnant despite having physically no ability to’), plots that heavily involve the concept of infidelity in a relationship/cheating (not in the ‘my father got caught cheating’ sense, but the ‘lol let’s cheat on your spouse’ ‘okay!’ sense), ‘we need to rekindle our love’ type plots (as in ‘A doesn’t love B anymore, so let’s have B act entirely unlike themselves/have them play out a fantasy for the full sake of making A fall in love with B again and find their spark all over again!’ - I’m aware these things happen in real life but in rp it’s never done well and ends up feeling very fake, forced, and manipulative, at least to me personally) and just about anything that’s generally ‘‘how much can I force (topic/action/thing) to get my own way’ and/or heavy manipulation that isn’t plotted out or made known well beforehand, or just come in totally out of the blue, especially as an intentional thing. These are literally ways to make me drop a partner real fast.

Do you have any triggers? How do you request it tagged?

I do - Things on fire, like buildings and landscapes being ablaze, especially realistically, is my major one and I ask this be tagged with ‘Not For Poms’, which I have blacklisted already for comfort’s sake. To a somewhat lesser extent (as in not in my rules, but things people usually tag anyway? Thankfully XD), spiders, real world politics, animal death, and gore also fall under this, but again, these are usually things that most people tag anyway and made it so I can just blacklist those words? I’m also more than content with taking note of partners’ tags and adding those to my blacklist instead, whatever comes out to be easiest on all parties involved

I don’t ask for a specific tag on the ships I’m uncomfortable with, and I wouldn’t really count them as triggers, persay, but I do block tags for ships that make me uncomfortable - Though these are really far and few between, and generally are often ships that are abusive for the sake of being abusive.

Sera’s got a lot of traumas going on and I don’t want  to go into a pre-plotted bond and instantly someone set someone off in some form. <3

I’m one of thse ‘if it happens, it happens’ kinds of people? I’ve tried insta-ship kinds of things and outside of with a couple select friends, it’s rarely worked out well for me, and even those still require a few interactions before either of us can mark ourselves as being down with it. I’m also just not huge into having a billion romantic ships per muse anymore - I used to be, but these days I just don’t want to fixate on who’s kissing who and when only, if that makes sense? There’s more to things than just romance, and even Sunflower (Sera and Zack) can easily switch from flirting to talking about something serious, and I love that. <3

I.... I really require a LOT of trust in my partner for these. I won’t do ships hat are intentionally just abuse and toxicity for the sake of abuse and toxicity; these might have their fans but there’s enough of it in the world that I’m just not here for it. If it’s just an excuse to intentionally be abusive and glorify it as ‘okay’, catch me throwing down a block real fast. BUT. With the right partner, enough planning, and there being logical reasons and explanations and the like for it to happen, maybe. One of my other blogs has a ship form out of one side using the other as a cover for being essentially a criminal and using her for that and her powers befre it creates something actually genuine. Another blog and muse of mine is wrapped up in a nasty hateship with somene she essentially grew up around and is forced to deal with daily, and they’d both gladly kill the other if they could get away with it. This HEAVILY depends on how much I can trust someone and where our limits lie together on things, but oh boy, do I already come with hard limits.

The pensive phase continues and I feel it's starting some overdue updates to my approach to more or less every aspect of my life.

I went through an image folder which contains everything I drew between 2008 and 2016, and hoo boy was I productive back then. It was a much harder time overall with heaps of overtime and negative people, but I still managed to create a lot of space for myself. Why is this different now? I have roughly the same amount of personal time, but it leads to much less. Taking a photo of a sketch and pulling it into Photoshop, even coloring it, feels like taking on the world (ordeal pictured above). What happened?

My drumming teacher became one of the most important and helpful people in my life when it comes to questions like these. I only start to realize how right he is when he says: Mind and spirit create reality. Something happened, in me and in my environment, which led to changes, and very apparently, I let them happen. I'm not at fault for everything, but I'm responsible for the way I perceive things, and how I act upon them.

Making and drawing things is something so integral to myself that something rather severe must have happened to lose such a big part of its spirit. It is a peculiar sense of exhaustion that didn't exist back then, despite having a soul-sucking demon spawn as a superior who made me question my value as a human being.

So, what is it? Is it perfectionism? Overthinking? Jadedness? Ageing? One part of the answer is maybe mental overload. I realized that my ability to focus is going to shit, and I'm not even active on any dopamine-rush social media sites. There's a reason why Fuerteventura feels like it's cleaning my senses, and why I feel deeply inspired to draw and do stuff while I'm there. I focus on the things I want to focus on. No Teams strobe light party, no interruptions, no thousand-tasks-juggling, no stupid politics, no ego arseholes I am forced to react professionally to. Mind and spirit create reality, and if my mind is full of ego arseholes and blinking bars, I'm going to have a bad time.

Taking care of such fundamentals may not only improve my personal life, but will also help with the quality of my professional work. Would be a win-win, to use the stupid corporate buzzword.

so atm my favourite part of the au to think about is post scratch bro and his relationship with hal, post scratch roxy and what dave would think about him. like for example i don't think he'd be this big superstar like post scratch dave was in canon, his work against the condence would be much more subtle. i imagine him working much more closely with roxy and grandpa jake - its not clear in canon how much dave, rose and jade collaborated together, they for sure were in contact, but its honestly up to interpretation. those three in the au would probably work very closely together, maybe roxy and dirk could help jake with building up skaianet - dirk as an engineer and rox as a programmer. they'd also have their own gigs on the side, roxy would sure as hell hijack crocercorp with malware every chance she got, and dirk would have some obscure websites that'd spread propaganda against condence under the veil of weird puppet stuff and insane chatbots. he'd probably write some kind of this universes detective pony parody book and get it published and it'd become one of the most recognisable pieces of literature documenting the takeover of the troll empire and the rebellion against it

oh man and hal. it'd go simialrly as it was in canon, dirk would fuck around and copy his brain at a young age and they'd HATE each other at first. like dirk would feel responsible for creating hal, and hal would resent the shit outta him - like how dare he be the one who gets to keep the body and hal must be stuck in a pair of glasses, trapped with no means of escaping? but they'd start working together when they find out about dave and the future to ensure their lil bro has the best chances of survival, and in time they'd bond over it and their shared work against condy. they'd come up with a plan so that hal goes into sleep mode until the arrival of the meteor (bc no way in hell dirk would make hal go through hundreds of years of lonely existance, watching as humanity slowly ceases to exist and unable to do anything about it, he'd go nuts).

and the day finally comes when dirk would have to go face the batterwitch so he'd put hal in the apartment and they would tell each other one last goodbye and dirk would put hal in the sleep mode. and hal would wake up like only seconds passed, not years upon years, only the vast ocean streching as far as his eyes could see behind the dirty, dusty windows, and he'd know his one brother is long dead, gone while facing the enemy he was destined to lose against but had to do it anyway, and the other one moments from crashing into the waters below on a meteor sent by some insane video game that creates new universes. he'd sit there for a while, reality slowly sinking in, and he'd probably desperatly wish like he hasn't in years, to be human again and to mourn his losses the human way, because as advanced as his robotic body was he haven't thought about updating it with some goddamn tearducks.

on a lighter note, imagine dirk crunching numbers for three days straight to figure out how much food he'd have to stock in the apartment to make sure dave doesn't grow up malnourished, desperately googling "how much calories does an *insert age* year old need". he'd be banned from every supermarket in at least two states. he would walk into the store and employees would start weeping at the sight of him. i think about it a lot

Ok FOR REAL Theory Time!!! Gonna be massive spoilers plus mention of bugs/fungus! So I'm calling this the Mold Theory And what is the Mold? It's the black stuff under Home! (Mold under a house is very suiting, right?) The Mold has contaminated Every single thing that the Restoration team has found! The team talks about the envelopes, the antiques, and the artwork found for Welcome Home and how it is alwasys Wet and covered in Grime. The stuff that is "Growing" all over the found items... Staff must wear gloves or they will get covered in it

You can see it all over the gloves, the Walls, and even the Website Itself! It's also been shown on the restored art prior to the update. But one unfortunate person seems to have touched it. and that is.. The Question Answerer! (The head person of the Restoration team is also most likely infected) Now what this Mold does is, It seems to have an effect of the person's mental state. Causing them to see and hear things, as well as having lucid nightmares and an overwhelming urge to draw spirals. From the very moment of contact, it seems to have effect "When I Unwrapped the first letter, I felt it. I heard it. Open Open Open. I want it out, I'm Going to get it Out" Instant Hallucinations and Obsession! Now I'm going to be Comparing this Mold to a Real fungus called Cordyceps, or the Zombie-Ant Fungus. It is a fungus that can control BUGS (familar themes right?) and take over their minds, forcing them to act unnaturally and wander far in order to spread itself! ~Similarily~ this Mold can take control of the Host's mind as well. The "Spores" that it is trying to spread are the drawings of the spirals/eyes. And the more eyes are Drawn, the more Wally can SEE. Wally has made it truly apparent that he can see us through any rendition of his eyes. "I've seen you every time you've looked into my eyes" "I have more eyes than I did before, you know how to draw eyes You draw mine, many times. I know it is thanks to you, Neighbor.. 2023 PJO/HoO Big Bang!

Hey guys!

Thanks for the outstanding turnout last year. Welcome to the annual PJO/HOO Big Bang event!

Right now, our rough timeline is to run the event from early July to the beginning of October. This has been adjusted from last year by a few weeks, so make sure to take note!

Additionally, as there are only a few mods available right now, we’d like to add more mods to the team to help us run the event! Let us know if you have any questions.
