After recovering from a severe accident that causes Harry to lose his memory of three years, he moves to London to start his life over as a star chef. Little does he know that when he falls in love with Louis at first sight, it’s not the first time they meet.

Featuring an unintentional game of hot and cold, Harry chasing memories that won’t come back, Louis burying himself in work to try and forget what he can’t forget, Liam being torn between two of his best friends, Zayn as a moral compass and Niall saving the day with good music and brutal honesty.

There's silence on the other end for a long time. Harry understands. He shouldn't have called. He tries not to let the static swallow him whole.

"I – yeah. Hi," Louis finally answers, slowly, awkwardly. "I um. Sorry. I heard about your accident. You're alright?"

Or, the one where Harry hasn't spoken to his best friend in sixteen months and can't remember why.

Harry falls asleep a 17 year-old who lives in Cheshire and is probably rockstar Louis Tomlinson's biggest fan. He wakes up 24 with a wedding ring on his finger, two kids, and Louis Tomlinson attempting to wake him up with a blow job. The doctor calls it organic retrograde amnesia, says he might never get back the last seven years of his life. The only thing that feels the same is how he feels when Louis touches him, and maybe that's enough to make him fall in love all over again.

Being an Avenger means continuing to be Captain America and smiling and being honorable for the public and Harry does his best. But it doesn’t give him time to figure out who he is supposed to be once he takes off his uniform and puts the shield to the side. Just being Harry had always involved Louis, and Harry fears he doesn’t know how to exist without him.

or: Harry is Captain America, and Louis’ been dead for 70 years.

“Hi,” Harry murmurs, and Louis hiccups out a sob.

“Hi,” he manages, still clutching onto Harry’s shoulders. Harry’s fingers drift across Louis’ cheeks, and there’s something off about Harry’s expression, but Louis can’t figure out what it is.

“I’m okay,” Harry says, and Louis is going to say something to that, even if he doesn’t know what, except Harry’s kissing him.

Louis freezes.

But, the life that Harry couldn't remember may just come between them.

“Erm, yeah,” Louis said, interrupting Harry’s thoughts with his brows furrowing and looking clearly suspicious. “And you are?”

Harry and Louis are literal stars who have known they were soulmates from their creation eons ago, however when Louis came to Earth to start the next phase of their fated future, he forgot everything. Even Harry.

This leaves Harry to break the rules and instead of waiting for Louis to call him and join him on Earth, he crashes down on his own. Without Louis there to guide him and help him learn how to adjust to having a human body and everything associated with that, Harry has no other choice but to do the best he can.

As Harry tries to correct what has gone wrong, he finds that friendship can be a light even in the darkest night, and through those bonds even separated soulstars can find their fated path once more.

Though there can be many negative impacts of honeybees on the landscape in North America: honeybees are not going anywhere and beekeepers are some of the most powerful allies in the fight against insecticides and herbicides. Right now we NEED honeybees to pollinate our crops. Eventually we should move towards requiring native hedgerows to reduce our reliance on honeybee shipments...not only will this be cheaper for farmers in the future, it will help reduce the amount of insect diseases that are spread by honeybees. (As the bees are shipped all over the continent) However, honey is always going to be something people want. The important thing for beekeepers to keep in mind, is making sure there are not too many hives per square mile! A single hive is 15,000-50,000 additional mouths to feed in an area that may already have limited pollen resources for native bees. (Who are often solitary) Responsible bee keepers can improve the impact their hives have by learning how many hives are in an area, planting abundant native flower resources on whatever land they manage, and taking feral hives out of the ecosystem rather than propagate new hives from scratch, or buying queens from retailers. People who keep honeybees are not bad people for loving honeybees! Honeybees are fascinating animals and often act as ambassadors to the beauty of the insect world. There are many ways we can and do work together to mitigate harm on all insects!

you don’t see him until it’s too late.

one second you’re rounding the side of the barn, the next you’re bumping hard into a broad chest, the smell of grease and sun and him flooding your senses. you stumble back, catching yourself on the old workbench, but not before his hand steadies your waist.

“easy, honeybee,” rafe drawls, smirking as he lets you go.

you glance down you swear your eye twitches at the sight—a big, greasy black handprint smeared across the thigh of your favorite jeans.

“are you kidding me, cameron?” you snap, swatting at the stain like it’ll magically disappear. “these were brand new!”

he just leans back against the truck he’s fixing, arms crossed, grease-stained and lazy-eyed like he’s got all the time in the world to watch you throw a fit.

“s’not like you don’t get dirty workin’ out here anyway,” he says, smirking wider when you glare daggers at him. “what’s one more stain, sweetheart?”

you huff, stomping your boot into the dirt, crossing your arms tight.“you’re unbelievable,” you grumble.

he just laughs, low and slow, the sound licking over your skin like warm honey. he steps closer, wiping a little more grease right onto your cheek with a grin.

“there. now you match the rest of us,” he says, proud of himself.

you open your mouth to yell again, but he’s already grabbing your chin in his calloused fingers, tilting your face up to his.

“don’t pout, honeybee,” he murmurs, thumb swiping the fake frown from your lips. “you’re still the prettiest thing i’ve seen all day.”

you stifle out a dry laugh. “those stupid pick-up lines don’t work on me, asshole.” you slap his hand away from your face. “this will come out of your paycheck, cameron.”

you still give him hell, but it’s a little harder to mean it when your heart’s hammering that loud in your chest.
