Give them that extra alone time together. And he chose to fly to Korea with Jimin instead of giving himself an easier and more relaxing travel schedule with more rest by staying and flying to America from Japan instead. That is... It's really fucking special and sweet and says so much about how they love each other honestly.

Giving up his last beer of their trip, after being told to relax and not worry about it because he wanted to be the one to drive them, to have that time together, just them and a GoPro they had control over, and spending that extra travel time to be together when it made a much longer and harder few days for him? That's that persistent, dedicated, quiet yet impactful kinda love. Really said a lot without saying anything.

The tradition continues of JK filming their food before ending with a close up shot of Jimins face. love that is a constant here 🥰

This was such a sweet and wholesome episode. It had teasing, it had bickering, it had pet names. It was domestic as heck. It was the perfect trip for them to end their "freedom" before military service. I would have loved more conversations about that, but I'm fairly content as it is too.

Again, so many cuts (not complaining, very normal) but my favorite was how Jimin went to go wake JK up and then it cut to them leaving. I hope they enjoyed their time cuddling and relaxing sans cameras and interruption 🥰 (my assumptions I guess, but wouldn't be far fetched)

Letting my delulu out when Jimin said he just lays wherever whenever all the time at home and me thinking about the the members teasing JK about all the random ass mattresses over his house 🤣 it's too keep them comfy no matter where they end up wanting to lay 🤣🤣 (just kidding, sort of lol)

The way Jikook play fight is so equal and cute and funny. They just shove the crap out of each other but never with an intention to hurt or be mean. And they both LOVE IT.

They trust each other, give weight to each other's words and have confidence in the others beliefs and thoughts like no one else. It's such a special bond, and I'm so so glad they opted to share this with us. I truly am so grateful. And grateful for y'all letting me share all my musings with you too. 💜

And we have to end this post with the way that Jikook were spotted in Sapporo driving in the car, Jimin being the passenger princess he was, alone with their GoPro's and giving major flirty energy. And the way the show just proved OP right too. Genuinely Jikook are so special and wonderful and amazing and I love them so much. And when they got home from this trip, the group live they did shortly after? They were sooooo touchy and snuggly!

The Heart Killers episode 5: my first, wild reaction

No new scars for Fadel! I mean it! (Looking at the sling from the trailer! Go away!) Let's Bison be happy with someone else for the first time in his life!

Have you all seen how SWEET our precious Style was? I liked him before. NOW I'm madly in love with him! What a kind soul! How beautiful he is, inside and out! Gosh, he has already fallen in love with Fadel! Halfway!! And not just him. KANT admitted he is developing feelings, too. Dammit!

I loved that we got a bit of a background story for Style's character, finally. What a big heart he has. Helping his dad out (who was there for Style when his mother died and his dad fell apart???). I bet it's Style's BIG heart and his love for Fadel that makes him spill the beans in the next episode?

I melted at the "You chose me" scene. 😭😍🫠💛 (Fadel, honey, I loved you from the start. In each episode, I love you even more!)

I loved Fadel asking Style what Style likes about him! Style's answers were so funny and sweet. He likes the adrenaline of a good chase. And Fadel reminding him that it's no car race, and I'm watching this and thinking, "No, it's no car race, but it's a race against time, and a car is indeed involved". 😭😭 HELP!

Then their sweet, corny smexy times at Style's garage! I loved it! It was funny! It was hot! Yes, Fadel, pay him with your body! 💣🌶🫦

Speaking of body: Style making Fadel dance with him at the bowling alley by referring to Fadel's little dance at the host club was top-notch! He is such a quick thinker and sweet talker!

And while we are at the bowling alley: I adored every scene of their double date until it went heartbreaking. Especially the way Style convinced Fadel to wear the partner shirt. (He got the ship name right! Yeah! Put Fadel's name first because he would like it! 😭👌🫠 And KantBison also hit the mark!) I SO love Style's "You can take it off at my place!". (Kant's reaction: 🤭😁) Fadel hiding behind his beer when Style said he touched Fadel's body so many times, he knows its size, got me laughing so hard! 😂🤣

It's so clear that Style has Fadel wrapped around his finger! Our big hitman softie! The way Style can make Fadel fold! It was so beautifully shown in the scene at Style's garage when they wanted Fadel's help. Kant, ever wary of Fadel's grumpy, cool demeanor, noticed, too, how easily Style could influence Fadel! Loved Kant referring to Fadel as "big brother". That barely visible shift in Fadel's expression that followed immediately! Glorious!

I love how vulnerable Fadel was! He didn't tell Style about his past lover. And he also lied BLATANTLY about not liking Style. (Fadel, darling, we all can see those looks when you think no one is looking!) And that talk about laying oneself completely bare. OMG! My heart went out to him. He DID tell Style about his murdered parents, though! (LOL at Style's quick "I'm sorry! Let's change the subject!")

Can I take a moment to appreciate Style playing with Fadel's nipples TWICE this episode? That was hot! 💣🌶🫦 The mutual ass grabbing, too! 🫠🤤

So, no recording device in the pin. (I could have sworn...) No devices in Kant's apartment either. (DAMN, I was so sure. LOL!) BUT the camera in FadelBison's basement DID record the betrayal. Shit! I really don't want this! Both Fadel and Bison are opening their hearts. They are slowly letting others in, which is no easy feat for them. And in the end, it's a betrayal. I really hope both Kant and Style can assure Bison and Fadel that they do love them. I want them working together against their enemies. I don't remember the exact wording, but Fadel said something about people not wanting to risk their lives when they are with him. Maybe Style and Kant will do this? (Dear me, it looks like Bison is taking a bullet for Babe next episode! Look how invested our Bison is in Kant and his brother! He is so protective already!) Also, I really love that Bison is the mad dog here! I loved how feral he was there for a minute.

And yeah, Fadel's fingers on Style's chin made me swoon. Please, don't hurt this man, Style!

I need to rewatch episode 5 every day until next Wednesday! I need to write and read all the meta!

It was so amazing! But the foreshadowing is killing me dead multiple times! 😭😩

Before I finish this, one final thought or two: What is up with mother Lilly and her aversion against dating and being left alone? Abandonment issues? Trouble recruiting new hitmen?

What is with Keen? Is he a friend or foe? Surely, Mother has her eyes already set on him and his office boyfriend.

Coming to Harvest Moon from Stardew Valley is certainly an interesting experience.

Trying out 'Tale of Two Towns'. Never played any Harvest Moon titles before now, but I've got a couple hundred Stardew hours under my belt.

I'm tickled pink that you can accost the wildlife. It's just so funny being able to snatch up a random duck from the river and then yeet it at a bear while it (the duck) is busy making anger emotes at you. 🤣

Me: Considering that Kuroha/Saeru had to make Ene's android body in the first place, he probably knows how to code as well. LN bit confirms he’s basically a living encyclopedia that carries knowledge of the beginning of civilization all the way up to modern science.

Saeru originally possesses Kenjirou, Ayano’s father, in most Routes, but possesses the body at night to not draw suspicion. Cuz Kenjirou programmed the game for HaruTaka's shooter game for their school booth. If he's seen it, then he can probably replicate it. Embodiment of knowledge, y'all.

In canon, Saeru usually dumps Kenjirou’s body to possess Konoha on August 15th, to make use of Konoha’s physical strength with Konoha’s Eye Ability, Awakening Eyes. But in my KuroEne AU, he dumps Kenjirou’s body and possesses Konoha MUCH earlier to be able to meet with Ene.

And Ene just says that if she's doing it, then she at least wants her partner to feel good. And Kuroha accepts her answer because he likes the fact that she still caters to his pleasures/wants him to feel good too (if this takes place in a Route where she doesn't know about his true identity)

Me: First one's Route setup is basically the first KuroEne AU Route I started writing (as a batch of random scenario ideas)

Cuz only Kano and Ayano know about the existence of the Clearing Eyes Snake prior to the present plot, so as long as KuroEne stay generally secluded/isolated from the others and just hang out in their own home (one of Kenjirou's spare homes), they'll be fine

That's why Kuroha could reveal his true name, either at the start when he first meets her, or in the middle of their relationship (depends on how much he wants to reveal and when), in that case

So it's basically dependent on whether he plans to meet the Mekakushi Dan or not

Grocery shopping is a personal hell sometimes lol I guess the best way to describe it is that it can get a bit overwhelming/overstimulating depending on how crowded and the overall vibe of the store I’m in. Some days I can handle it better than others lol I’m sure everyone was so over being stuck inside during Covid so I don’t blame lol I actually prefer doing dishes but I do agree baking is definitely preferred than cooking!

I never was classified as “gifted” through exams bc I literally have terrible test anxiety that I don’t do well lol BUT I was definitely always considered a higher performing student even though test like that didn’t technically show it. And bestie you’re so smart like you don’t even know!!!(Also I have beef with standardized test like that but tbh that’s a whole other topic lol) but knowing how much of a hard worker you are it makes sense that you’re sadly going through some sort of burn out. I’ve realized it happens more often and sometimes it’s really hard to get out of. Lowkey I’ve been so burned out since I was like 18 ish and have been just trying to barely function lol. So I can totally get how frustrating all of this may feel!

I can assure you that people do care about what you write! And I’m being honest when I say if you ever choose to publish whether it be through self publishing or traditional, you absolutely have the potential to succeed in that! NO grocery shopping is absolutely overwhelming. I'm just INSANE. In New England we have Market Basket and if you haven't been there good for you. Test anxiety is the worst! I watch so many of my students struggle with it. I got nervous over some tests but I was fortunate that I didn't get too overwhelmed (shocking, tbh, something had to give I guess). I'm always trying to think of strategies to help my students with it. I also did a whole research proposal on math/test anxiety in grad school. The "experts" recommend journaling before an exam (but you gotta be kind to yourself and manifest that you'll do well) which was NOT for me because I was like "I'm confident" i'm not going to do well. My AP Bio tests?! Holy cow. DAMN. Those were a bitch.

Not to sound like 100 years old, but when I was in college I remember by the time I was in grad school I was like "holy shit this is endless" I was exhausted. No reading, no writing. Nothing. It was just endless school assignments and work. BUT now I have TIME to do things I like so I actually think my burn out is entirely 'better' than the one I had in college. Not sure if that's hopeful for you or not.

🥟 steamed buffalo momo - honestly I don't remember much about this dish but both the momo and the accompanying sauce were delicious. I don't remember the buffalo having a distinct taste tho 🤔 I was kinda afraid that the buffalo would be tough but then again it's steamed meat.

🍛 spicy pork curry - man we fucked around and found out. this dish (labeled VERY SPICY tbf) HURT to eat a few bites in 🥵🥵🥵 I forgot the texture of the pork but I know it wasn't dry. I kept going back to the sauce even though it was spicy as hell (I felt like a masochist)

I wouldn't get this again cos i couldn't take the heat 😭 like you know when a dish is so spicy that you have trouble focusing on the actual flavors? and then the spiciness lingers in your mouth for a LONG TIME even when you eat other dishes? 😭😭😭

🐐🍚 [in the 1st photo] bone-in goat biryani - they are LYING when they say that it's for 2 because it easily fed our table of 5!!!!! they brought out a whole pot and mixed it right in front of us!!! i looooved the bits of burnt rice. the goat wasn't tough, the spice level was bearable (compared to the pork curry at least lmao), and the spices themselves were wonderfully warming in my mouth. we had like 1.5 portions of this as leftovers

I want this again but also I don't because I wanna try everything else on the menu and my stomach real estate is scarce 😔 what a dilemma

🧄🫓 [in the 1st photo] garlic naan - I'm conflicted whether or not i'd consider this dish as having a reasonable portion cos the slices were a good size but each piece was pretty thin. I definitely wanted more after my piece was gone 😆 the garlic was fragrant but I feel like they could've been heavier with it (but also i'm the type who puts 4x the recommended amount of garlic in recipes).

i'm a sucker for garlic naan. I'd get it again!

🍡 gulab jamun - lots of gulab jamun end up being a chore to eat because they're so soaked with their sugar syrup that they're overwhelmingly sweet. that wasn't the case with this dish tho (maybe that was also accomplished by using honey rather than sugar). as for the yogurt- I feel like it didn't add much to the dish other than being a light element to counteract the heaviness of gulab jamun.

I wouldn't get this again tho like it's not that interesting

🍮 kheer - this is prob the most fragrant rice pudding i've ever had. it's kinda lacking in the taste department tho 😔 slightly sour, in a good way, but not much else going on. it was refreshing to eat after the spicy entrees

💲 price: we were definitely very full! I was surprised by how affordable the food was- each entree was less than $20 and each dessert was $4-5. considering that it's is like 1 of the only restaurants in the DMV that spotlights yak, they offered it at a much cheaper price point than I expected.

Your second mistake is thinking that “never [loving] anyone like them again” is a bad thing. Never the same love twice honey. They’re all as different as every person is different. And that’s a beautiful thing, because that means there’s a whole buffet of love out there in so many incredible flavors for you to try. Maybe your first love was chocolate. And yeah maybe it was decadent and rich and velvety. But there’s also lemon. And mint. And cotton candy. And sherbets and fro-yo. And maybe you’ll like something else better, but you wouldn’t know if you’re too defeated to try.

And thirdly, I hope you’re not making the mistake of also assuming there is only one person meant for you. And even worse, that you’ve already met them.
