I did I remember always being scared that I was secretly a robot my family somehow decided to get and I was just made to believe I was human. Later realized if that were true I wouldn't be able to do x-rays XD

I won't forget again.#They are evil dumbass 4 evil dumbass and I think we are all missing out on the sheer potential of the comedy between these two.#They have way too much power and are using it for the wrong reasons - which makes them truly great villains.#And when things don't go their way they become piles of whining sludge.#Wang Lingjiao is forever fascinating to me even though we only get crumbs about her.#She's a servant girl who's greatest asset is her beauty and her attractiveness.#Meaning she's had a life being in the gaze of people with significant positions of power over her.#I can't help but read her childishness and petty tantrums as someone who has finally been given the chance to not feel powerless.#If she was a more virtuous type we might 'like' her more but honestly...I don't think she would have survived to this point.#WLJ has only known power hierarchies her whole life. Probably accused of seduction before she even understood what that meant.#I love contrasting her with mianmian because they have similar(ish) backgrounds but different approaches to moving forwards#But WLJ's story is about flying too close to the sun and mianmian's is about going too close to the water.#Like the sea mist dragging her down into complacency - all the sect powerplays are mandatory to 'go along with' if she wants to climb-#-the social ladder. Yet she is the cautionary tale (and a foil to JGY as well) she leaves before sacrificing her own morals.#Mianmian flies away with her wings only slightly plucked while those who sacrificed everything to reach for the top crash and burn.

Rereading Temeraire for the first time in AGES so I had to doodle the boy.
#i honestly forgot how much i loved this series#“real world with fantasy elements” stories have always been a favourite of mine#(when the fantasy elements arent just werewolves and vampires at least)#and the idea of the Napoleonic War but with Dragons is such a BANGER concept that it alone would make the series great#but i adore the way dragons are written and how they exist in this world#like theyre animals but also people in such a way that feels natural instead of forced#but their treatment often isnt even that of animals its more than of inanimate physical objects like ships or planes#and all the different breeds who was artifically bred for certain purposes#and the way different cultures view and interact with the dragons#augh#its just so good#temeraire#temeraire fanart#amity doodles

I am not far into Dead Boy Detectives, but if they talk one more time about leaving Port Townsend on the ferry, I might ragequit. It's just VERY clear how this wasn't just filmed in BC, but quite possibly the makers never even visited Port Townsend or done a maps search to figure out how to get there.
Port Townsend has one (1) ferry, and the Kennewick only goes to Coupeville on Whidbey Island. You will not get to any major airport that way.
I know it doesn't sound as cool or whatever, but take the bus, kids.
#this is apparently a sore spot for me#I get that its TV and shit#it just gets to me when location-specific plot-sensitive elements in a story are incorrect#it can be filmed in a different place and be obviously wrong and that's fine whatever but please don't make it matter to the plot#same thing pissed me off enormously with the Boys in the Boat movie#that not being filmed in an environment even vaguely similar to where most of that story happened#for that one honestly it would have been great if they'd filmed in it in BC#but there are plot elements (like why the team is good in open water) that don't make sense because they filmed it on English canals#personal gripes#dead boy detectives

i do miss being a little kid and creating the most vividly fucked up stories with my toys that i could
#i would say it was one of my fav little girl things but i did it with my brother mostly#and he sometimes got more into it than me#it’s great we had stories of abuse kidnapping murder#i thought up a looooot of kidnapping stories. i think it was how i coped with the intrusive thoughts of break-ins i’d get lmao#but this isn’t abt my GAD this is about my creative bloodlust#what even was a sleepover if you and ur best friend weren’t roleplaying an evil torture dungeon with her lps toys#or pretending to be foxes in the wild and getting mauled by bears#<- i was not a warrior cats kid but was friends with them. we all liked foxes so we were usually foxes#honestly i think a lot of my artistic energy is spent trying to return to that level of raw creative energy and power#it was always either violent or everyone was having sex with each other#to the kid with internalized homophobia who would jokingly torment me with ‘lesbian’ barbies in daycare (which we later got in trouble for):#thanks for helping me make the connection that lesbians were just girls who liked girls (like my aunts#also really funny that we’re both gay now#hey friends and mutuals who wants to play barbies with me and have them cannibalize each other#girlish whimsy. for free. cmon it’ll be so much fun

cas coming back in any kind of spn reboot is a given, we know this. he'll interact with dean and we might even get dean addressing the confession. and i know jackles will be the driving force behind any reboot but his history with addressing dean's feelings at cons is like a damn yoyo - is2g if dean doesn't reciprocate and destiel doesn't kiss on screen i'm not watching it and it will join the annals of not-canon along with 15x19 and 15x20 and the canon divergence attempt at a fixit that was dean in spnwin. no destiel means spngate 2.0.

Should make a pain killer that actually kills (or even touches) pain
#not that I have access to ultra hardcore stuff#but even when I had... pretty sure it was vicodine for my wisdom teeth; it didn't do a thing for me#cbd based stuff seems like it maybe helps; certainly does more than nsaids which do nothing for pain (great for inflammation though)#but I just... I'd really like something that actually makes my muscles and joints feel like... good; unpain#I'm sure it would be classified as addictive whatever it was but like... fuck man... I just want to not hurt#I can't tell if I have chronic pain cause... I kinda forget to pay attention when I'm hurting a lot of the time#I'll just... kinda realize I've been hurting bad all day and just not really focusing on it#and I also don't know how often it happens; if it's once a day or once a month or what; not great at noting that stuff down#but man... I don't even like most meds; so many meds either do nothing for me or make me feel like shit#like... benedril? however you spell it; someone gave me some once said it would help me sleep... help me be awake feeling like ass more lik#but like... love to see if muscle relaxants actually like... relaxed my muscles; but you get it; you get why I'll never be able to try it#though honestly I think therapeutic massage might help me a lot#but my doc says that really only gets authorized by physical therapy and... well for me physical therapy is useless#cause I forget to do the exercise; like it's me failing a physical therapy; not a probably with physical therapy#if I ever think I can keep up with it I'd love to try physical therapy for my back again; but I don't want to waste all my chances at it#not when... I descriptively didn't do it when I was in it before; I'd never remember to do any of the exercises#anyway; bonus story from when I was in urgent care when the infection came back (that's still never been solved)#I tell the doc 'last time it tore open a drainage hole it was the worst pain I've ever felt'... cause it was#I said 'I'll need something a bit stronger than an nsaid cause the nsaid did nothing but cut inflammation last time'#she's like 'don't worry; I got you'... wanna guess what she gave me? a newer nsaid#it didn't do shit; I was just lucky and it wasn't as painful... maybe the old drainage hole tore open easier this time#but I didn't even take the nsaid she prescribed; so I'm gonna say it wasn't that med helping#like I get it; you don't want to give opioids... and would it shock you to know that wasn't what I was looking for either#there's gotta be something between nsaid and fentynol man#...well... maybe the cdb has almost got my muscles... hurting less at least; only taken all this time I've been writing#they still hurt for sure... I actually really like Yuuta in this fight against Sukuna despite hating his role in kenjaku’s death. I am a little worried his powers could overshadow other characters, since he can just copy Sukuna’s or Angel’s and use it against Sukuna. I don’t want it to enter in a territory similar to the Gojo fight where eventually something has to happen to kill or weaken Yuuta just because he’s overpowered either. Love the team up, just wish there was a way to make his role slightly less prominent and to let other characters shine, especially since the other characters could do well with having more development and spotlight

ive got so many thoughts about origin character playthroughs in bg3 as i go into act 3 of my wyll origin run, and while a majority of them are "wyll and lae'zel co protagonists of the game by a large margin" there's also some moments where im like "ooh id have done that differently if i were writing the game"
#ive tried to do an astarion origin playthrough but honestly i found it hard to progress the plot as him?#because we're supposed to be playing AS the origin character and i just don't think astarion would make the specific decisions needed#to progress the plot in the beginning of the game#like my read on him is more that he'd be trying to figure out the tadpole but also how to get as far away from cazador as possible#and that would require not getting involved in tiefling and druid conflicts#or offering to chase down a grand duke#which is great for his growth as a character through the narrative as he regains more agency and finds that spark of empathy that#cazador tried to beat out of him#but overall it makes him... idk#it makes him work better in the narrative of the game as it stands now as a supporting role/love interest#and this isn't me saying astarion couldn't be a protagonist in a specific version of this story but it isn't necessarily this version#whereas characters like wyll and lae'zel have such strong motivations to drive the plot forward because of their connections#to the larger story of the game itself#anyways i love astarion so much but his story is both the most well written and the least protagonist-y of them

Did you know that if you want to write supernatural shit, you yourself have to figure out how the supernatural shit works? It's wildly unfair and unexpected.
