JB really just has such a good understanding of who Anthony is, even the parts that aren’t flattering.

I think for them, in the roles they’re going to play in the Bridgerton family there’s a lot of room for these kinds of discussions even without them having kids. But I think Kate and Anthony were unfortunately both in positions where they had to take on much more than they should have at such a young age so the most important thing to them is that their children can be children. Obviously Anthony has a title to pass on, and family legacy is very important to him, but I honestly think for the most part: They’re having children because they want children.

Kate and Anthony are both such nurturing people and I think it would be very sweet to see them with their child. I truly think it would barely register to either of them, when Edmund was born, that he would inherit Anthony’s title. Probably not until someone else mentioned it.

Imagine how happy they’d be, just absolutely enamoured with the tiny baby, yawning in their arms.

“Is he ready for a little visit?”

Anthony startled a little, at the sound of his mother’s voice but he didn’t pull his eyes from his wife and son, the boy’s tiny fist holding Kate’s finger.

“Of course he’s ready.” Kate said softly, “He’s been waiting for you.”

Anthony watched with no small amount of pride as his mother and Kate’s cooed delightedly at his son, his fingers intertwined with Kate’s.

“Oh he’s beautiful, well done Darling.” Mary said gently, tears in her eyes. “Beautiful.”

“His name is Edmund.” Anthony managed to get out, feeling his mother’s eyes burn into his. “We like Neddy, just for us.”

She swallowed, “That’s a… that’s a lovely name. Neddy Bridgerton.”

“Oh look at him!” Benedict crowed, clapping Anthony on the shoulder as he beamed, “Oh look, the tiny little viscount. Ready to rule us all with his little fist.”

Anthony felt his heart stutter in his chest, dread, that the weight on his shoulders would fall on his son’s far too soon, building in his chest despite knowing his brother had only been teasing.

Kate squeezed Anthony’s hand tightly and cleared her throat, “Don’t worry, Benedict. He’s a while off having to keep the lot of you in line yet.”

There aren't a great many people that Ash finds he loves. He can make friends with more than most, but he can count on one hand those he extends his greatest care to. He never thought one of those fingers would be taken once he made it to California.

Los Angeles was a concrete maze of tourism and Hollywood lights that outshone the derelicts and everything grimy underneath. Ash has no fond memories of that city. Aurora Bay is better with that - not having thinly veiled lies to make it seem better than it is. It has the beach, a cozier vibe that isn't overwhelming, but the biggest pillar to his adjustment of beach town vibe had been none other than Ulysses Flynn.

It wasn't hard for Ash to fall into step beside him, to find a place there where he was welcomed and home. He didn't realize it until about two months in, hanging out on Uly's balcony, with the tobacco burning his throat and a heady buzz from shitty PBR tilting the world ever so slightly. They were teetering close to four in the morning. It was easy to lose track of time, he even said so.

"Y'know. When I'm around you, I don't worry or care about anything. Like, look - it's three forty three in the morning!" Ash holds his phone up where, through the crack that stretches corner to corner, the time reads. He pulls it back and extends his other arm out to ash the end of his cigarette. "It's cool, yeah? I'm not so busy overthinking things because it feels easy. You make things feel easy."

Does it make sense?

Ash takes another drag of his cigarette, letting it hang from his mouth so he can divide his attention between that and his phone. "You're easy to be around. I don't know if you know it, but I love it."

Uly quickly became someone Asher would consider family, because family has each other's backs, and Uly has proved that time and time again.

"Yo, dude. I think that guy was about to shit his pants!"

It was around October, when the chill started taking hold late in the evenings, fleeing the Reef after a near-altercation, and Asher was delivering a slap to Uly's shoulder.

A set of sticky fingers and a plucked wallet nearly ended with a fist to Asher's face. "He took one look at you and - psh, knew better. But y'know..." Ash waved up the wallet in one hand and the pack of American Spirits. "I might've double dipped." Oops.

But that was the thing. It didn't matter that this started because Asher had some morality issues. Technically, he did wrong, but Uly was there at his side. Some 'what if' questions over time told Ash that there wasn't much he could do that would change that. "Thanks for that. You're honestly probably the most loyal fucker I know."

Possibly, to a fault, but that is neither here nor there if you ask Ash.

There was a certain gratitude and fondness when he said to him, "It's, uh... thanks, man. For always being like my ride or die." Tried and true, always faithful, and his confidant.

Coming around closer to the New Year, he had felt like there was a lifetime between them, all packed into nine months. The night of his birthday, back in the Reef. He couldn't have been happier at that point. Gillian on one side, Uly on the other. He had his whole world there that night, plus many more. It didn't matter that he lost first round in the pool tournament.

"Thanks for coming." Of course he would. After the first few beers had started to soften the edges of his vision, it was already all too late from the amount of shots he'd had with them that Asher made a huge miscalculation in how much he actually consumed.

He let himself stumble outside, soppy and drunk, to get a touch of fresh air. "I didn't think i'd still be here, in this town, by the way. That's all you." He grins, and it reaches his eyes. "I didn't know Gillian was here before we met, or for even like a few months after, and I was close to hopping on a bus to find my feet somewhere else. But I stayed when we became friends. I stayed because I didn't want to leave here if it met leaving you."

The anchor that had kept Asher from floating too far off, his inevitable wandering brought to an end. He felt he had found his place here with someone he met only by chance. One 9-1-1 call for attempted theft would've ended all of that.

"Thanks for making this place home." And that was probably the thing that Asher loved most. Uly made him a home.

Just finished bayonetta and honestly it was SO GOOD. FanTASTIC game. Final thoughts:

The final boss fights were both a million times easier than expected but they were over fast enough the hype hadn't had time to run out (and the manic pixie dream girl style bayonetta playlist I had blasting didn't hurt either XD. Hard to be irked when you've got Bling Bling firing at twice speed while you fight a giant hair tentacle lady with face missiles IN SPACE).

Also going in knowing the bayo 2 ending is so much worse because you can see how 500yrs of loptr has just eroded him into a shell of himself ToT. This weapon flailing peacock wearing ash white lunatic is so far from the righteous, devoted warrior who loved his family above all else 😭. He's still wearing his wedding ring!!! And he dotes on tiny cereza whom he never got to hold, but that's it. That's all that's left...

Bayo 2 did the sequel plot twist thing so good, because you can see so much more of loptr in him than balder. The speech rhythm, the weirdly crooning faux polite monologuing, the rippling blue of his eye and outfit despite all his magic (both in this and the next game) being gold?? Yeah!!!

The peacock feathers in his boss fight though,,,,, sooooo pretty. They moved so beautifully, it really had so much elegance and grace, even when I was chopping him up 😍

Him and Jubileus were kinda cheese though. Like, the final Jeanne boss fight was a million times harder and with so much high stakes (having to redo the missile section again). I died like THREE times, and one was because I was curious as to what would happen if I threw Jubileus into a planet (spoiler - she did not in fact take damage but instead shook herself off with an evil grin and one shotted me, boo).

The dance video was so much better than I expected! She moves so fast lmao. There's a lot of repetitive moves but she does it at such speed!! It looks like such a fun dance too lol.

And!! I unlocked the gallery and stuff!!! 100/10 it was an absolute blast to look through and listen to the music, I literally examined every single model and every single piece of concept art. Bayonetta's designs were all amazing but no one told me how feminine every SINGLE character was posed!!! Crying laughing. Everyone had their legs like a meter apart apart from balders 'rich new widow meeting the police at her door' energy.

New drinking game: go through the enemy/demon models and take a shot for every face/human skull you see. It's so creepy lol. Phenomenal character design on all fronts!

Got 10,000 halos for finishing the game and immediately spent it all on the super outfit maker thing. I deserved it!!

Also apparently I got an achievement for using 20 wicked weaves with dodge offset, which is hysterical given I still don't know how to do dodge offset. Still don't know any combos either! It's a miracle I made it this far XD.

The characters are great, even the bosses have little interactions with bayonetta (mostly her cutting them off and shooting them lmao) and the found family energy the bayo/cereza/luka trio had was off the charts, but I'm so glad they didn't go through with it like every male/female leads ever. It has a way of flattening everyone involved :/.

The final cutscene totally happened because bayonetta and Jeanne got together with rodin like 'okay the angels probably think she's actually dead. This is our only chance to do something SO funny' like Enzo and poor luka fully thought she was dead. Jeanne called her nun outfit cosplay. Rodin stole enzos cig and lectured him while he accidentally protected him from falling coffin lids XD. With the intermittent fight scenes in the credits, the dance video, the amount of unlocks I got, what a way to end the game!!

In conclusion - this was definitely a game I'm going to replay and try to 100% (maybe not platinum style, but everything else lol), and it's so obvious how much thought, effort and love was put into it. A masterpiece but also very clearly an older game (the lack of save points and a good place to practice combos, combined with the painfully long chase segments both attest to that). Something I've thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of and something I'm most definitely going to come back to for a while to come.

Kinda want to get bayo 2 now... Do you think they still sell it on cd?

Yay love seeing people relate to the post I posted about becoming a Kataang shipper during my re-watch of ATLA 😘 (you can read it here if you haven’t already).

Firstly, yesss, watching ATLA is still fun after years. Ngl I think when I was younger (mostly because Netflix wasn’t really big), I watched Avatar but not thoroughly. It was more like, if the episode is on the TV, I’m going to watch it. I might have missed an episode or I’d have to wait till next week to see the next episode. This is compared to when I got older and I could do a full binge watch of the whole thing on Netflix (which I recommend 😉).

Secondly, haha I soooo relate to crushing on Zuko. Honestly, still do lol (literally have you seen what he looks like in the comics!?! I didn’t know his hair could get better than season 3 but 😍). And yeah, definitely understand using Katara as a self-insert for the Zuko love 😂. Love an enemies to lovers!!!

Aww yes, I don’t think I paid much attention to Aang when I was younger (other than him being the main character lol) because of how much I loved Zuko. But truly, every single character is so amazing that they all deserve the same amount of love and attention 🥹.

THAT DANCE!! I don’t know what’s in the air at the Fire Nation but Aang was too smooth. After watching that episode, my standards went up by 5000%. I feel like that might have been the episode on my rewatch that made me think a bit differently about Kataang. I think prior to that I was still fully on the Zxtara (going to x the ship name out again in case shippers don’t want to see this xx) train but then that episode happened and I thought this is fricking cuteeee (then of course proceeded to rewatch again).

I’m so happy they’re giving us more adult Gaang content!! So so excited for that movie 😍 and all the Kataang content to come.

Yeah, and on your final point, I do remember lots of Aang hate from some shippers (I do think there might still be some even now). Definitely not saying all Zxtara shippers hate Aang (and definitely don’t think that was what anon was implying)!!! I do think it was a small minority who were probably just trying to find an excuse to hate Aang but I have seen many Zxtara shippers who absolutely adore Aang which always makes me happy because he is a sweet sunshine who deserves all the love and appreciation ☺️.

Been thinking about Dad!Scott lately, I know some people don’t like said headcanon (and that’s perfectly fine! ❤️) but I wanted to write a post of how it makes sense to me; based from my own personal life experiences/why Scott being a parental figure to Alan’s doesn’t seem so out of left field.

Okay let’s start with Sally, yes Grandma definitely would be the main parental figure after Jeff’s disappearance.She’s awesome, no denying that but she’s only one person. And there are things she can’t do, or things she can’t relate to. Alan an growing boy, and such would probably subconsciously seek out a male role model.

And see as Scott the eldest male in the family, it makes sense that Alan would see Scott as a sort of father figure.(and the other older bros to an extent too) For me, the idea of having multiple ‘parental’ figures isn’t such a strange idea, there are multiple people in my life that I can say have been parental figures to me in one way or another. I grew up with an absent father, so it make sense that I seeked the things I needed from else where.

So in a small way, sort of smilier to Alan’s situation (but very different, and honestly Alan got the better end of the deal 😅) so it makes sense to me that Scott would take on a parental role with Alan. The saying it takes a village to raise a child is one I think is very true, and definitely relates to Alan.

And maybe a part of me just really loves Dad!Scott and Alan because I have daddy issues, and the idea of someone who doesn’t have to be a parental figure, but chooses to anyway, is just so nice?? Anyway that’s me essay on Dad!Scott 😅

Random thoughts, but i like the idea that Scott has reddish toned brown hair. I don’t know why, I just like the idea of Scott having somewhat auburn hair 😅

Like if Scott spend a decent amount of time in the Sun, his hair becomes more of an auburn colour. Basically John isn’t the only one in that family with the red hair genes.

(Scott’s are just a bit more subtle lol 😂)

Actually, imagine as a teenager/kid Scott had lighter, more auburn hair! Like not red like John but still a lot lighter than he has as an adult.

Imagine a young teenage Scott feeling somewhat self conscious about his hair, (because school kids are brutal) and wanting his hair to darken like his dad’s.

Because Scott is always trying to be like Jeff, which is probably why he styles it the way he does 🥹

But yeah, Scott with varying degrees of reddish brown hair 😍

First of all WHAT THE FUCK

He refuses to draw women any other way than this. Humanly impossible Tiny waist and big tits. And when they’re not drawn this way they are shown as “ugly”

It’s actually so fucking disgusting

And then we can compare how he draws women and men’s faces. The women look almost identical to each other while the men’s display a wide range of expressions and originality.

It’s really a shame that he can’t bother to break away from this mold and give his female characters actual interesting designs

I read the manga (mostly because the anime has a ridiculous amount of filler) and I sometimes have a hard time telling the female characters apart with out color BECAUSE THEY ALL FUCKING LOOK THE SAME 😭😭😭😭

Another thing Oda has received many MANY letters from female fans asking him to change and he always just responds with

“This comic to for boys idgaf 😂😂😂😂”

Oda refuses to change, he simply doesn’t care.

He also married a nami cosplayer which is 💀💀

forced pregnancy- either on tim or both their behalf. either mind control, magic, some kind of fuck or die scenario. with unwilling pregnancy i really like scenarios like 'how to breed better livestock' where ra's is using old magic to make it impossible for tim to get rid of the fetus. or maybe tim's held captive and can't use any way to prevent a child from being carried to full term. but with magic i love the idea of a ritual taking place where tim absolutely needs to get pregnant in order for it to happen. or a somnophilia kind of thing where tim gets impregnated without his knowledge and it's not until he's showing that he figures it out and by that point it's too late. just tim getting pregnant and having to carry the child.

'i didn't know i was pregnant'- okay but lowkey i loved this show as a kid. (that and monsters inside me and deadly women were my bread and butter). actually timpreg on twitter brought it up in their tweets and it's all i've been thinking about. like tim's uterus is maybe just a bit further up in his body and his baby is just born small. and tim is fond of weird food combinations and if he's a little moodier sometimes that's fine? he gets stressed? tim's not menstrating? well lots of vigilantes don't menstruate, amenorrhoea is surprisingly common among them and lots of elite athletes. so tim's just going about life as normal and then one day he just feels...off. there's this odd ache in his gut and a pulsing pain in his lower back but that happens somtimes. odd body aches come with the job description. but hours later and tim is seriously thinking of skipping patrol because...there's just something wrong. he can feel it and he doesn't know what it is. his heart is beating so fast and then there's a strange shift inside him, a pressure. bruce goes up to tim's room because he hasn't come down to get ready for patrol and everyone else is waiting only to stumble across the sight of tim's bed drenched with amniotic fluid, blood, and a crying baby cradled to tim's chest.

surrogacy. i love the idea of tim being pretty, like very very pretty. he's also incredibly intelligent and talented, he has his awkward moments but on the whole people do like talking and interacting with him. so in high socitey, i'd think (which is backed up by it's frequency given how many celebrities do it) there'd be not a small amount of wealthy couples and even single women/men who offer tim substantial amounts of money to be their surrogate. i tweeted about this before here and i still very much am in love with the idea!!! i think tim would be more open to so long as it's not his egg being used but that's alright because couples and women usually want to use their own men and single men already have an egg donor they just want tim to carry the baby because he's such a cute package to wrap around their gift. and who knows? maybe some of those looks and smarts will leak into their kid. and honestly tim's not particularly interested but is the guy who pretended he couldn't walk for more about a year and went to fake physical therapy. if he needed to do something drastic to keep his cover he'd definitly accept someone's offer. he'd be getting paid, someone would attend to his every need, the kid wouldn't be his so it's not like he'd be in charge of raising it. what tim wouldn't be expecting is just how much his family likes seeing how sweet and rounded with a child.

secret child. tim not wanting his child endangered because so many enemies know his identity and they could use his child as leverage. it's likely an accidental pregnancy so no one knows or suspects and tim has always been good at lying. so good he even lies to the rest of his family because they...they've let him down before. not believed him on something he desperately needed them to, betrayed him, lied to him, tried to kill him. there's not a single person who hasn't fucked tim over or helped in fucking him over- not even alfred. bruce even released his identity to stephanie, something she immediatly weaponized against him when she hired people to ruin his life. tim can't trust them to not...ruin this. he can't trust them not to ruin this for him, discourage him from this, or try to take this over (bruce is controlling, he'd try to speak over and stamp out any and all of tim's parenting decisions). so when tim gets pregnant he just...tells people he's going undercover and has his baby in peace under a fake name in a hospital. tim knows he can't hide it forever but he's already been so distant from the family. tim can't retire, can't just hide away forever because he's seen how well that works he knows that if someone really wants to find him they will. so he goes back to work, and he acts like everything is fine. he requests to be able to work from home and aside from some jabs that he's becoming even more of a hermit they leave him alone. they leave him in peace. no one has any idea. no one ever asks him where he goes, no one inquires about his life or if he has anything going on in his personal life, and no one comes over to his house. it's not until tim is horribly injured as a civilian and hospitalized. he's in a coma, this might be when they're hit with the realization that he really might not pull through, and bruce is in the chair beside tim's bed, fists clenching and agitated and stressed as the rest of the family paces or sits silently. when a social services worker walks in and they're confused because tim is no longer a child? he's over the age of 18? and they're like no we know we're not here about him, we're here about mr. drake's child who has no appointed guardian and may enter the foster system if one is not found for him. and they're just....silent. and they're introduced not to a baby, not to a little child, but to a fully 5 year old articulate child that looks so much like tim.

virgin mary situation- i find the idea of tim being a pregnant virgin absolutely hysterical. like maybe he had a creepy enemy who saw tim passed out and happened to have a cup and pipette on hand. or even better, tim has a break with reality while bruce is disappeared and impregnates himself with some sperm bruce had on ice and people are horrified to learn he's pregnant with bruce's child and bruce just...stays gone because tim is too pregnant to go looking for him and ra's never succeeds on his own. so bruce's legacy is just he was a good mentor, a good friend, and apparently he fucked his son but we don't talk about that. or maybe tim has a brush with a god who takes a liking to his quick wit and abilities and is like 'ur cute, i will reward you with my spawn' only they don't fuck him they just knock him up by rubbing his flat little tummy. just pregnant timmy sitting there all knocked up knowing they're the consequences of sex he never even got to have. the jokes would never end.

Let’s see, I was born on May 17th which in that case would make me a taurus. Honestly though, I feel like I should be an Aquarius. I heard they’re very easygoing and super friendly, a trait that I personally have!! Fun fact, May 17th was also the day I started the Darkwing Duck fan club and became president!! Best birthday ever!!

As for phobias… I never was a fan of heights and I also have a fear of falling from intense heights… I could never do those rock climbing activities back in summer camp… And I swear, I will love Launchpad till the day I die, but when he opened that cockpit door after our battle against F.O.W.L, I wanted to strangle him… I really felt like my whole life flashed before my eyes… Good thing my family saved me…

As for my parents, well… I never had a great relationship with my dad. He was never there to support me or my mom, and he said I wouldn’t amount to anything believing in my idol… It got so bad that eventually my parents divorced and I watched it happen with my young adolescent mind. I haven’t seen him ever since. Maybe it’s for the better anyway…

Mom was a different story, she’s always been there from the beginning, supporting and raising me the best way she can! I like to think that I got a lot of my traits from her! I always remember the days when I got back home from school crying from being bullied and my mom always hugged and comforted me… those are the days I will never forget. Don’t tell anyone, but she’s the only person besides LP and Gos, who knows I’m Darkwing Duck!! I’m still in touch with her from time to time on skypewee (I love that pun!!), and I know that she is proud of what her son has become!!

Ok I have finished The Way Of Kings…

Don’t think I will be able to articulate into words how GLORIOUS this book was!

My thoughts: Spoiler free!

Brandon Sanderson is a master of creating incredible world building. It felt so unique and detailed; feeling as if you were there experiencing and seeing the places as if you were the characters yourself.

The plot was so engaging and interesting; how everything was tying together and making sense. All came perfectly together. Yet still left questions that will be explored in the next book, which I’m definitely reading straight away, as I need to know what gonna happen and see the characters’s explored more and developed even further!

Honestly, the amounts of twists and turns especially towards the end was incredible! 😱

The characters are amazing! They were all so well developed and interesting; I was rooting for every single one. Each one had me happy and sad for them. I love them all!! 😍 (Apart from the betrayers 😠 🗡)

Kaladin, his story about his life and family had me in sobs; where I had to stop and wipe my face as I couldn’t see the words. 😭😭 His determination and the will to not give up and how he cared for his bridgemen was so heartbreaking yet inspiring. ❤️❤️ Bridge Four!! Love them all so much!! Also, syl, love her. She is adorable but also so caring and loyal. Loved how she helped Kaladin and was there for him to act as a friend and a constant in his life when he really needed her. Want to know more about her and see her develop into the being she is becoming.

Dalinar is such a interesting character and a good father; his POVs were so engaging, it had me feel really sorry for him, the things he was experiencing, feeling at times isolated and unsure of himself due to what is happening.

Adolin is so interesting and engaging, I loved all the scenes he was in. He is such a shameless flirt but also full of such care and loyalty to his father and his men. I loved his protectiveness towards his brother, how he stands up for him and looks out for him. Can’t wait for more of Adolin!

Renarin is really intriguing and I throughly enjoyed the scenes we had from him; I want to know more about him as he appears so sweet and innocent. Always there for his family and to lend out useful information without any judgment.

Shallan is really interesting and I really admired her determination and care for her family, her purpose to help them. Her witty sense of humour had me grinning like a Cheshire Cat, and I felt really sorry for her especially towards the end with certain people and what has apparently happened to her in the past to make her feel troubled and unsure. Found her really sweet but also, stubbornly determined in her cause. (I related to the stubbornness) 💗

Jasnah is interesting and what she said about religion and morals, ethics etc had me really thinking and contemplating about views and about life in general. Found her to be charming in her own way and really want to find out more about her.

Navani is interesting and I want to know more about her past and how she will develop as a character.

All the side characters were amazing; from Wit 😏, to all the Bridge Four members, Szeth, Elhokar. All were incredible and engaging, so exciting to learn more about them!

So there are my thoughts. Basically me saying how much I LOVED this book! 🥰

Not sure if any of it made sense but in short it was a BEAUTIFUL INCREDIBLE book!!

Honestly, had me blown away by how engaging the plot and character were. The plot didn’t overshadow the characters and vice versa!

Despite being over a 1000 pages long it didn’t drag or feel slow; it felt so engaging and entertaining, that I wanted to keep reading to know more!

Well I’m onto start Words Of Radiance. I NEED to know more about the plot and the characters! So no spoilers for the next book please, thank you!!

El Hotel De Los Secretos Ep. 12 Reaction

We now return to Julio spewing some absolutely vile but true shit about the Alarcón family at the only living member who isn’t acting freaking awful toward him. Luckily he has Andrés holding him back. Honestly neither of those boys should be going anywhere without the other, inevitably they do stupid shit or have bad things happen to them when separated, case and point? This!

Losing my mind that no matter how prickly and destructive Julio gets Andrés refuses to choose anything other than kindness, than to heal him, than to persist. “Let’s patch the wounds on your body because the wounds on your soul…” I’m gonna lose it!! Julio is throwing an absolute tantrum and all that’s doing is letting Andrés see how badly Julio needs help I can’t DO this 😭😭😭

That being said at least Andrés has the good sense to step away. Seriously tho “I bet you’re glad [Isabel and I] are more than 40 centimeters apart now!” As he pulls himself apart from Andrés is such an UGH. It could be interpreted so many goddamn ways hnnn the queer lense is strong with this one! AGH the gay it hurts!! “Let’s just go to our room, please.” Before he finally gives up and let’s Julio burn himself out? OWW! HELLO??? Is anybody else reading into this?! 👀🔥🔥🔥😫😵‍💫🏳️‍🌈

Man, it’s in the name of the show but damn EVERYBODY has got secrets around here.

Isabel hiding from Diego in Matilde’s room as she SHOULD. Matilde is all like “you like him don’t you” and she looks her dead in the eyes and tells her “We Are Just Friends” and honestly? Good for her (even if there’s some denial there)!! Definitely not gonna lose it over the fact that Matilde says “I hope you’re right for your sake, whoever gets involved with that waiter will need an endless amount of love to face such rage” as if Andrés didn’t just ‘face such rage’ then carry Julio to bed TWO SCENES AGO! It’s really not just the onscreen chemistry that’s making this shit feel gay, it’s the frickin narrative! I love it!! 😍

Oh boy, Mercedes and Felipe are finally getting in trouble with their parents about their little escapades. Now it seems that Elisa (Alfredo’s mother) is missing?? Belén is already using her new position to get a room to herself back, I assume she was sharing with Victoria up until just now after Elisa got here.

Okay not to be Like That but I KNEW IT! I knew Andrés’s whole thing had very to actually do with Belén and mostly to do with really, REALLY wanting to be a dad and not letting that baby (or Belén) to go through the same trauma he and his mother did. He’s also apparently been told his dad was a soldier and died in the war and god this kid has such a complicated relationship with masculinity.

It’s also kinda sad really because Andrés isn’t actively being like, directly sexist, but also it’s 1908. Honey, there’s more to a relationship than being physically attracted to your wife/fiancé and her being the mother of your kid. Now granted Belén isn’t really letting it be anything other than that (because she doesn’t love him either) and that’s such a ‘young kid whose never been in a relationship in their life’ mistake. You have relationships with people of both genders that are closer to what you’re looking for baby she ain’t it! This ain’t gonna fix your daddy issues!! Bitches be out here playing house…

Hey maybe I misjudged Vicario too, if nothing else he’s willing to lie for patients but he seems to want to help people idk idk he’s interesting, there’s a lot of conflicting facts about him laced together and I am Intrigued by this cagey but nice doctor 👀

So the file on Julio Olmedo says that he wasn’t a political agitator but killed an American Ranger who was trying to control the riot he was part of! That he died before he came to the prison did Julio fake his death?? I hope that doesn’t mean he lied to Andrés about his worried mom (probably not). But also… WHAT?!

Oh right, Julio got picked to serve Diego and Isabel’s little surprise romantic dinner… AWKWARD. 😂😬 ooooof.

D = Dreams: How do they picture their future with their s/o?

Honestly, Takao really has no clue and he’d rather not think about it too much, because he probably expects things to get a little sticky after graduating high school.

He doesn’t really have specific ambitions for himself– instead, he just has the vague hope that he’ll continue to enjoy his life down the line. 

And when it comes to you, he hopes for something similar. After high school, you two might have different paths and he doesn’t believe you should have to be tethered to him the whole way, if that makes sense. He doesn’t know where things will go later down the line and doesn’t really think it’s worth it to think about it so much.

But he still just wants to be with you, and he wants the two of you to be happy together more than anything else. He hopes you’ll both try your hardest to make things work when the situation calls for it.

Takao takes things by the day, and maybe subconsciously he’s picturing the typical nuclear family lifestyle with you; but the image is vague and distant, and he’s a little more concerned with what will happen in-between now and then.

The most specific thing he has in mind is children, though. He’s great with kids, so he hopes that one or two will be in your guys’ lives– in the distant future, of course, but surely at some point. And maybe they’re not even yours, maybe they’re a niece/nephew from either of your families that you guys are close with. But he’d be happy with the idea of it tbh

I = Inspiration: Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Takao can definitely help his s/o loosen up, especially during potentially frustrating situations. He’s an extremely adaptable guy; he has no problem taking things as they come because he always finds a way to make the best of things. Maybe it’s a little annoying sometimes when you’re genuinely stressed over something, but over time the feeling is kind of contagious.

His partner probably would help him become more grounded. He’s sort of a guy who assumes that everything will work out somehow, but that sort of attitude could be detrimental in a relationship when there are problems that need to be addressed.

Along that vein, throughout the course of a long-term relationship, Takao would feel like he’s becoming a bit braver. That is, he’ll be forced to confront his negative emotions more often. 

He makes friends easily, but he doesn’t often get very close to them or experience very much emotional intimacy. When he can, he usually shies away from it a little, distancing himself from his feelings towards his hardships by cracking jokes about it. But that sort of behavior wouldn’t fly for too long in a serious relationship, and he realizes this pretty quickly. 

O = On Cloud Nine: What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

It’s pretty obvious when Takao’s involved with someone. The amount of flirting and teasing every day is just off the charts

Plus, he pretty much becomes attached to you at the hip. He makes sure to give you your space now and then (especially if you ask for it), but he just likes spending time with you!

Honestly, time is probably how he most often expresses his affection for you. He gets bored pretty easily, and he has a knack for either changing or abandoning a situation that doesn’t suit his fancy. So if he’s spending lots of time with you– just you, no bells and whistles needed. As in, eating lunch on the roof, walking home after school, simply enjoying each other’s company without the need for fun distractions to break the ice... That’s a sign Takao really adores you.

V = Value: How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

He doesn’t consciously compare you to other factors in his life, as at this stage of his life, there aren’t really any complicated circumstances that would force him to do that. 

He supposes that if you weren’t supportive of his passions (basketball, basketball, and…… trading cards Ig? had to hit the wiki for that tidbit lol), then that would be a huge problem for Takao. You don’t have to be interested in the same things as him, but he’d like it if you at the very least didn’t demean his interests. At most, he’d expect you to let him talk about it with you now and then, because he’d extend this same courtesy to you.

Actually, it’s hardly even an act of courtesy for him, because he wants to know about the things you care about. Because he cares about you, and that’s just how it works in his mind. 

If you weren’t keen on acknowledging his interests, then he’d have doubts about how much you even like him or if he’s just annoying you whenever he brings it up.

So basically what I’m trying to say is... it’s not quite that his interests inherently hold more value to him than you. But it’s all about context for him, because he sees your response as a sign of something bigger about the relationship

1. How long have you been a fan of Outlander?

Nov 2017, so coming up on a year now. I had seen some gifsets around tumblr and decided to check it out. I was in between jobs at that point and had little to do with my time, so flashforward one week and I had caught up and was head over heels. I think “The Doldrums” was the first episode I watched directly after it aired. 

2. Have you read the books? If so, which ones?

I’ve read them all, as well as some of the novellas and Lord John books. I’ll be honest though, I kinda skimmed my through some parts, especially in the last three Big Novels, mostly focusing on just the Jamie/Claire storylines. I’m in the middle of a more thorough reread now. 

3. Which is your favourite secondary character?

Books: Rachel. I love her faith, her attitude, her bravery, and her sweet pure soul. She’s a babe 😍

Show: Murtagh. He’s the dad figure/grumpy uncle that Jamie and Claire need so much in their lives, and I love the adaptation they made of him in the show. I CANNOT wait to see him in season 4!

4. What is your least favourite storyline?

Most of the rape and assault storylines. Once or twice is one thing, and not something I necessarily have a problem with, but it has been casually and flippantly used in a way that is excessive and abhorrently disrespectful, especially in the books. It’s lazy writing.

On a less serious note, I dozed my way through some of the Paris stuff in the show. The whole intrigue/political espionage thing just isn’t really my style. Didn’t really have a problem with it, just kinda meh.

Depending on if I feel up to it, sometimes I skip Wentworth Prison, To Ransom A Man’s Soul, Faith, and The Battle Joined. All episodes I love, but are so painful to watch I have to be in the right mood.

Book Frank: a dick and a manipulative liar. He had his good spots, but yeah. Not a fan. Especially as the series goes on. 

Show Frank: kind of a dick, but one I felt a bit sorry for, at least at first.

For the episodes as they release? Monday afternoon/evening, when I get off work. Cozied up in bed :)

Ya’ll know I’m obsessed with Jamie and Claire. It’s why I’m here. 

I ship Lord John with some damn peace and quiet from his insane family and the Frasers. He didn’t sign up for any of this.

......  I literally read so much I don’t even know how to quantify it. And that is a very mean thing to ask me to pick a favorite.... But currently the Loss AU by @missclairebelle owns my heart. I’m also currently really into Brave Enough to Love You by @laythornmuse, Metamorphosis by @anoutlandishfanfic, Dr. B, Medicine Woman by CrossingInStyle over on AO3, and Death Dreams by @whiskynottea. (ps whisky, it’s been a while? Plz?)

There are literally so many, hit me up if you’re ever looking for suggestions. There is a ridiculous amount of talent in this fandom.

Regretfully none. Gotta get these student loans paid off before I indulge :/

Rupert. I feel like he had the most character growth. I cried like a baby when he died.

16. What areas of interest has Outlander sparked for you?

It’s the first fandom that I have felt I could maybe write some fanfic for. I’ve never written a creative thing in my life, but I’m very slowly cranking out a little fic. Who knows when it’ll be done though. But with this material and this great community, I feel like I could come up with something halfway decent and feel comfortable posting it. Which is a HUGE jump of confidence for me. 

17. Biggest plot hole in the show?

I feel like they’ve tidied up a lot of the things from the books, but I guess the nature of the stones themselves. How do they always travel the right span of time, how do some people travel different spans, etc etc. I’m sure there’s an explanation out there, but eh.
