nobody asked, but i wanted to share!! here's a curated leon playlist with themes of hard work, suffering, loyalty and a side of c*nt <3
and because i put far too much thought into this, songs and the corresponding lyrics that i thought made them a fit for this playlist are below the cut!
i'm your man - mitski
you're an angel, i'm a dog
or you're a dog and I'm your man
work song - hozier
and i was burnin' up a fever
i didn't care much how long i lived
spotless (ft. the lumineers) - zach bryan
if you want spotless, i'll always lose
you gave me your love, lover, you gave me the truth
kids - current joys
i'm no longer a kid
and everything has changed
matthew - tyler childers
and he worked them hands to splinters
and he raised them youngins right
too sweet - hozier
i work late where i'm free from the phone
and the job gets done
pretty when you cry - lana del rey
don't say you need me when
you leave and you leave again
i'm stronger than all my men
except for you
r.i.p. 2 my youth - the neighbourhood
i'd like to be proud, but somehow i'm ashamed
sweet little baby in a world full of pain
stonecutters - dope lemon
make livin' on
very good times
torches - the oh hellos
and father ignorance will make brothers of us all
as he sets our torch aflame
chasing down the flimsy specters that we co-create
still beating - mac demarco
honey, i cried too
better believe it
night shift - lucy dacus
am i a masochist, resisting urges to punch you in the teeth
call you a bitch and leave?
kaleidoscope - chappell roan
whatever you decide
i will understand
and it will all be fine
cool slut - chastity belt
we're just a couple of sluts
so what?
we just wanna have some fun
portrait of a dead girl - the last dinner party
i'd die for you, no questions asked
if anyone could kill me, it probably would be you
hot blood - kaleo
you wanna prove you're the better man
you wanna reach for the things that nobody can
my way, soon - greta van fleet
i'll bet on a chance if i've just got one
i'll throw out the plans and live with no burden
take me home, country roads - lana del rey
drivin' down the road, I get a feelin'
that I should've been home yesterday
take me home
to the place I belong
the new jersey devils give off the vibes of an entire group of men who will unironically listen to one direction and that’s always the reason i give when i get asked why i chose them
i don't think i will ever be able to recover from this night or shut up about it!! seeing everyone in their kink outfits was so fun & everyone was so creative & not to mention how kind everyone was! the opening drag performers were so talented & fierce! chappell was beyond anything i could've ever imagined. i'm genuinely at a loss for words. her vocals & energy were insane. genuinely the best concert i've been to😭🤍😭🤍
hey all! my lovely friend (@stedefxckingbonnet) and i made a playlist together on spotify for my current jegulus fic, so i figured i’d share it here :) shoutout to them for being my biggest supporter on this fic fr and for putting up with all of my ramblings about hockey and figure skating!!

When Sirius moves out, Regulus Black thinks that maybe James Potter will finally be out of his life too.
Good. Competition season is coming up, and it'll be his first year at the junior level. As the upcoming skating star of the Black family, Regulus can't afford to lose–and the absolute last thing he needs is a hockey player to mess everything up for him. All he needs is for James to stay out of his way, and he'll be good as gold.
James doesn't stay out of his way. And Regulus has a long way to go before he can even think about bearing a medal around his neck.
It’s a Catastrophic Blues week so we’ll start with a blurb from the upcoming chapter :
“I think it would do you both some good,” Fiona says, and for the first time in my life I know she’s being earnest.
And she’s bloody right, damn her.
Maybe we can close some doors in this abandoned house of ours.
“I’ll – I’ll wait outside.” I tell them.
“Bollocks,” Fiona says, grabbing me by my shirt sleeve and pulling me further into her flat. “You’re going to sit here with Aunty Fi and Uncle Nico and we’re going to make awkward conversation like the family we almost were.”
And since I’m still knee deep in a spicy scene for Sugar, We’re Going Down Swingin:
“Simon,” I plead.
“Parience, babe.” he says as he continues his descent.
My cock jumps and hits him in the chin. I throw my arms over my eyes to shield me from another embarrassing moment. Honestly, quick bathroom handies with a random club guy are a lot less work than this.
“Do you like that sweetheart?” He asks and my cock betrays me again.
“I’m begging you to stop. He’s never been called such nice names and it’s going to his…head.”
I don’t know if that will stay, but I got a good chuckle as I typed it.
Ahaha. Someone on tumblr suggested that song to me for this fic a few months ago, and that line REALLY fit. Can always count on Taylor for the lyrics titles!
In other, good news (For once for me!) my mom and her boyfriend finally agreed to let me carpool with them when we all leave Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning. The bad news is I have to figure out a way that I'm getting to Pittsburgh now last minute because I'll be there longer then them.
It's so hard to be apart of the tiktok hockey fandom when you don't listen to Taylor Swift, chase Atlantic or Morgan wallen or honestly if you're not white💀
i made a playlist for your one-hour post-trade breakdown needs. yes the order matters it's the stages of grief (vaguely) because i want you to find peace
