You questioned it, wondered if this was just the alcohol talking but with how pleading his eyes looked, you gave in and kissed him

His lips were soft, and he kissed you like he had been waiting ages for it.

After what felt like forever you pulled away. He pouted his lips then went back to leaning his head on you, mumbling a thank you and an "I love you so much" so quietly you would've missed it if you weren't looking at him

"I love you too, now let's get you to your room, okay?"

He rumbled, not liking that idea and said he wanted to sleep with you, you were worried he would regret this all by tomorrow, but he wasn't budging so you agreed to letting him sleep in your room, as long as he changed into some pj's first.

And within minutes of him laying his head in your neck, he fell asleep. He looked so peaceful, and for a split second you couldn't think of anything but his face. You fell asleep with him, hoping he won't take any of this back tomorrow.

hmmmMMMM i do think ultimately that the reader and gojou would end up a couple after the events of the timestamp, but it would be a slowburn

it's definitely onesided to start with gojou gaining a crush on the reader fast and the reader selectively acting oblivious to it. your friendship with gojou develops slowly overtime with the remainder of your years as students and that flowing into your time as co-parents post-graduation

you said it best all those years ago. satoru is although you can respect his abilities, gojou satoru is an annoying individual. but you like him a lot more when he's annoying and overbearing than sad and depressed. so despite you both initially running in different circles, your reaching out to him meant a lot to him. he can usually take your annoyed zesty zingers in stride, it's strange how those zingers ended up being what comforted him most after suguru left

[SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON]

OMG...!! 😍 THIS WAS SUCH AN ADORABLE CHAPTER FOR THE MANGA TO RETURN WITH...!!! 💗😆💗

We had to wait a month and a half for this chapter, and I think that it DELIVERED!! 😁 So let's talk about it, shall we...? 😊

This chapter begins with a plot line that's been brewing since Mission 61...

THAT'S RIGHT!! 😆 DAMIAN IS FINALLY GONNA GIVE ANYA THE CAKES THAT HE PROMISED HER!! 😁

And it only took 27 chapters for Damian to accomplish this...!! 😌 I honestly just love how Endo does stuff like this, where he brings something back up a bunch of chapters later (even if it's the smallest detail imaginable...!! 😊)

But moving on, we get something that I did not expect to see...:

ANYA DRAWN IN THE FREAKING SHOJO ART STYLE!! I JUST-- I JUST CAN'T...!! 🤣🤣🤣

This is one of the best and funniest things I've ever seen in Spy X Family, and I honestly can't wait until THIS gets animated...!! 😆

After spotting his dream girl from afar, Damian tries to give her the cakes that he promised, but...

There is just too many people around for him to give Anya the goods...! And with Anya overhearing his thoughts about giving her the cakes (but not fully understanding why Damian wants to give them to her in secret), she devises a plan to meet with Damian in the courtyard...!

And after receiving a seemingly bloody message from Anya, Damian agrees to head to the courtyard with her...

But as you can see, Becky, Emile and Ewen decided to follow them...!! 😅 So Damian and Anya decide to BOOK IT, while the others follow suit!!! 😆

After getting chased around for awhile, Damian determines that he's done with this shit and ultimately decides to just throw away the cakes (which Anya hears), and then...:

ANYA, ARE TRYING TO KILL DAMIAN...!? 🤣 HIS LITTLE HEART CAN'T TAKE IT...!! 🤭

I'm pretty sure a lot of us were expecting something big to happen this chapter (like how I was hoping for Yor's full backstory because season 2 of the anime started), but it didn't, and I'm okay with that...! I'm just glad that we finally got another chapter of this amazing series to talk about...!! 😊 And though that month and a half long break was killing me (I mean, I had Undead Unluck to read in meantime), I just hope that Endo got some well deserved rest!! 💗🤗💗

Also, that flashback with Melinda is just giving me red flags all over the place...!! 😵 I don't know if Donovan is the one telling her to do these things or if she's doing this to get to Anya herself, but everything that Melinda has done thus far has made me feel constantly uneasy... I just hope that she didn't do anything to those cakes that will harm Anya or her powers in any way...!! 😡

Chapter 3: Preparations

*Part 1

*2 hours later

"Who's there?" Demanded the boy named Safi. "I know someone is in here."

"Hello fair one." A voice replied in a smooth tone. "What is your rank?"

Safi set down his mop. "Where are you? Show yourself."

"Why don't you come this way and find me?" It teased. "I'm closer than you think. Right under your nose. Or should I say, your feet?" The voice chuckled at it's own joke. Safi huffed.

"Do not jest with me! Show yourself!"

"Oh, I won't do that just yet. But come and uncover my whereabouts!" It beamed. Safi stayed where he was. The last time he followed a voice trying to lure him deeper in the library, some rascal pranksters dumped a bucket of dust all over him. His allergies nearly killed him that day!

"If you won't tell me where you are, then tell me your name please."

"I am what I am." It answered. "But do tell me, what is your rank? Are you the King?"

Safi frowned. "No, I'm not. You don't need know my rank! Tell me your name please."

"Oh no, I'd rather not. Are you close with the King?"

"What even is your business here?" He demanded.

"Watch your tone." The voice gently chastised. "Such ill manner speak is unbefitting for a noble setting."

Safi mopped the floor in front of him. "And yet, you interrupt my work to ask about my position without properly introducing yourself. Actually. Talking to you isn't worth my time."

"You are testing my patience." It groveled. "Are you close to the King? Can you at least bring him to me today?"

"And what is your business with-?"

"No more questions." It intruded. "Tell the King to make my acquaintance and come to the library so that we may converse today. Now."

Safi put a finger to his cheek and looked to the side in an exaggerated wondering look. "Hmmmmmmm. Still rather vague. I haven't seen you and I don't know your real name so I can't say who is calling for the King's presence. Given my schedule, I might not have time to talk to him today." He sucked his teeth. "Not to mention that you have no respectable dignity. You want me to tell the King to see you today? Not even consider if he's as busy as me? Without even saying please? Even if I did manage to summon the King here, he has little patience for those who disrespect his associates." He began to walk away. "You're not worth the trouble. Sorry شخص غريب."

The library was dead silent after his remark. Safi dipped his mop in and out of the water bucket when the voice returned. "If you shall not help me, then leave my presence." It hissed.

Safi turned towards its direction. "I'm not finished cleaning."

"Get out." It demanded. The force of the sound vibrated the water in the bucket. Safi frowned. He's encountered arrogant nobleman before but none of them had an affliction in their voice such as this.

"Such ill manner speak is unbefitting of a noble setting." He recited, picking up the bucket. Maybe this was another magic nobleman?

"Get. Out." The voice repeated. It was softer but something about the voice was off. It's tone was venomous and the vocals sounded... accursed.

Safi reflected on their conversation and he got an idea for why this voice wouldn't share its name or show its face. Safi backed away and grabbed his other cleaning bucket in case he really did need to leave after asking this question. "Are you even a human being?"

"GET OUT!"

The boom in the voice shook the entire library floor. Several books fell from the bookshelves and Safi knees buckled as the sound shook his very bones. Only the upright mop kept him from falling. He looked ahead from him to the center library space and his face moved from shock to horror as he noticed a tile from of the floor. A green light was emitted from the edges of the tile. As quickly as he'd seen it, it vanished. Not willing to find out anything else, he stood upright and rushed out of the library, shutting the doors behind him with a gentle ~click~.

After a quick trip to throw away the mop water, Safi made his way to the castle storage closet where he simply set down the buckets and mop inside. Safi proceeded to fall against the door and release a heavy sigh.. As if the day hadn't been exhausting enough, there was, indeed, a thing in the library. He heard a rumor from the other cleaners that the Grand Library was haunted. If you went deep into the library, you could hear a voice. And because of that, the cleaners rarely did the whole library. Safi didn't consider himself much of a skeptic. He wouldn't deny that ghosts or spirits were real, but Safi rarely cleaned the library thanks to the dust bunnies that would ambush his senses if he wasn't careful. However, he hated how the other cleaners left most of the library to accumulate so much dust because of the rumor. Only today did he hear the infamous haunting but what was he to do about it? The other cleaners tried to report the haunting but whenever the guards investigated it, they found nothing to convince them that the haunting was true or could be dealt with.

You know what. Maybe he should leave the Library for another day. He cleaned half of it and it was last thing left to clean anyway.

Magical Girl Yuu's First Day pt 4

“Listen dude, I don't know what kind of cult thing you’ve got here and at this point I don't care. I just need to get back home before my mentor freaks out.”

This time it really isn't Yuu’s fault she got lost!

“Cult?! Night Raven College is the most prestigious school in all of Twisted Wonderland!”

“Cool story bro. You still kidnapped me.”

“The black carriage does not kidnap – !”

“The what?”

So according to Birdman all students are recruited via some spooky carriage and horse that Yuu does not remember seeing.

Actually she can't remember anything of how she got here. The day was Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday?  She had been getting ready for… something important. Something that had the adult magica gearing up. Yuu remembers a sense of urgency, this had been different from the usual fiend attacks. 

What happened? Did something go wrong? 

For the first time since waking up Yuu feels truly scared.

Panic rises as she tries to go over what enemies could have the power to transport someone while fogging their memories.

Meanwhile!

Totally oblivious to Yuu’s mental crisis, Birdman was reaching his own conclusions.

“... truly weren't meant to be here then that could explain why you couldn't be sorted. I suppose there's nothing for it. Step back in front of the mirror, young man.”

Finally Crowley looks back at the child, Yuu, and takes in his state.

One hand is tugging at his hair while the other grips his strange magic pen. The boy’s eyes are unfocused and he rocks his weight back and forth from one foot to the other.

Hmm.

Hmmmmmmm. 

That’s probably not good. If only Crewel were here to deal with this instead.

Remembering the damage from earlier, Crowley approaches cautiously. He keeps an eye on the hand holding the oversized pen and grasps Yuu’s shoulder in a clawed grip.

Yuu does a full body jolt but listens when Crowley tells him to approach the mirror again

Nothing happens.

Yuu’s anxiety is getting out of control, so she tries channeling it towards something more productive. Specifically anger.

This mirror!

First he calls her a freak, now he's saying her home doesn't exist. 

“I cannot discern –”

“Well, is there anything you do know? Or should I do this place a favor and break you out of that frame!”

For the record, Yuu wasn't actually going to break the mirror. Squakface still wasn't willing to risk it as he dragged her out of the room.

Crowley guides Yuu to the library where they spend some time looking for references to her home city Duskfront.

Eventually Yuu asks what the books are referring to when they say Twisted Wonderland.

After some more back and forth Crowley concludes that Yuu must be from another world. 

Yuu is like okay bro, a likely story.

She’s still concerned this might be a plot, and thinks it's pretty convenient that they happen to be on an isolated island.

Crowley suggests that they shelve this for now and he offers to house Yuu in an unused dorm.

Yuu is not having it and tries to walk out, determined to swim back home if she must.

Crowley protests, despite the many complaints from both students and staff alike Crowley does in fact have a sense of responsibility. And while this particular student is, for whatever reason, unsortable, he cannot allow a student to just walk out. Not even one as unruly as Yuu.

Yuu really, really, doesn't want to be alone with her thoughts waste any time, but she understands this isn't the type of situation you can just bully your way out of. So with gritted teeth Yuu finally hisses out, “fine!”

Birdface is leading her far away from the main building.

Really far.

How big is this campus?

Finally they reach a derelict building that may at one point have been a dormitory.

“It's a little old, but a building with such character is suitable for such a rambunctious young man.”

“Why do you keep calling me that?”

“Calling you what? Rambunctious? I’d say it's rather accurate.”

“No. Young man. I'm not a guy.”

“What?”

Yuu loosens the sash holding her outfit and pulls back the outer robe to reveal modest, but still visible, breasts.

“WHAT!”

I was going to make it longer but I decided to split the final into two parts and give you this now. Sorry about the long wait (╥_╥). I'm kinda disappointed by how close to canon I've been but I know there will be big opportunity for change later. Specifically with the ghosts.

Ive been thinking about writing some drabbles or trying to draw out some scenes, turns out even making a short comic is hard. Im working on a short piece about the mine based more on the manga than the game. I'll focus on that after the last part of Yuu's first day, but might also do some smaller posts as well.

IWTV S2 finale - General thoughts

Hmmmmmmm okay so. Top notch episode until the official end of the interview.

Post Daniel ending the session... eeeeeeh. I was disappointed. My fears about how they were going to wrap it all up ended up being founded :/ Maybe this is just because it's a first watch but Idk. The things I enjoyed were:

Jacob Anderson thank you for this 15 episodes of excellent acting, your performance will always be a classic in my house.

watching Louis be happier - I love him enough for that haha

Daniel's ending was satisfactory to me, aside from the fact that I feel we should have seen his turning for his arc to feel complete, again we needed another episode.

Here's what I didn't like or still need to think about under the cut.

No time to see Louis process the reveal + break-up. I didn't hate his reaction, though it only makes sense if he suspected it in the back of his mind, which I maintain he must have a little. The issue? We don't even see him process 77 years of Armand lying about choosing him and being sad about Claudia and/or 77 years of him lying to himself. Not even a montage. Despite the fact that it was 77 YEARS. And that seconds before Daniel threw the bomb Loumand were falling back into fond reminiscing.

Armand taking "going with the flow" to the extreme. This one might be a matter of my own competence but I don't... get it? I understand he's a character who gaslights himself into believing he can't change things. I understand he's someone who derives his own identity from serving a person or a purpose, from playing a role, and clearly is too terrified to step outside of them. But the fact he didn't take ANY independent significant step throughout the Paris era is something I'm going to have to sit with. Did he do all that because he believed Louis couldn't get rid of the coven without his help, aka without him taking action, and since he doesn't do that, everything else was an inevitability? I think what's jarring to me is that this means he never actually chose Louis in any capacity that mattered. I know he loved him but. ??

The whole Lestat thing... absolutely unearned. I just could not care because it wasn't resolved. We don't get answers about his presence at the trial. If he wasn't coerced, I don't get his defending Claudia on stage. Are we supposed to believe he only felt remorse when she looked to him for help? Sounds insane. And if he was coerced, we should have been told here. Because I can't believe Louis just... not asking these questions. Time heals, but I don't see how Louis can skip to forgiveness without any explanations given.

The "equal wrongs" vibe of the Louis and Lestat's convo. Lestat apologized for the drop, but not for everything else. As for Louis' thanks, we have seen nothing to explain this sudden appreciation for the gift. And even of we say it's been a gradual process, at the end of the day, him saying he didn't realize vampirism was a "gift" doesn't make sense because back in 1910s he was a Black man in Jim Crow America! And the gift could certainly not do for him what it's doing now! He was also losing his family in real time, which while perhaps inevitable, wasn't something he could have just chosen to not feel anything about...

Claudia. I also didn't like Louis' speech about Claudia's turning, because while factually true, the way it was written and the emphasis on "saved her from a fire only so she could die in the light" felt like he was falling in line with the whole "she shouldn't have been made "anyway". Turning her was a sin but it wasn't the only one perpetrated against her. And maybe I'm being too hard here because that's a line fandom has used, "it's sad but she shouldn't have been made", as if that diminishes the weight of the wrongs done to her. As if these vampires had any right to decide in advance that she would not make it and then make the time she did have on Earth a living hell. "It's not all on you" Louis you still haven't asked him why he was there????

Louis saying "I own the night" Wouldn't the vampires threatening him be old of part of other covens? Has he gotten strong enough from Armand's blood + Magnus' blood for that? Out of context, that was weird.

...here's my mind-numbing ramble about it.

In the teaser short film: Images of an apple, alphabet cereal (SIREN), crossword puzzle with the word "feed", glass of milk?, the word "dine" made of ice? (I see no "dumpling" here. Where's the dumpling?) Not looking good for Vmin-ers. Again.

Along with upside down "friends", and the newspaper headline that seems to read: "...ationship becomes eternal by e..." and you can't see the entire thing but the next word created by red thread is "desire".

The red thread being pulled undone.... Red thread of fate which supposedly means: The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined partner.

But the red thread is broken and we end up with just the word "end".

Yesterday it was one week since I went to the eras tour.

Everything went smoothly, my view was great, my headphones were so good I couldn't even hear the crowd, I got DEAR JOHN and SAD BEAUTIFUL TRAGIC and LONDON BOY as my surprise songs (and you were right - not my favourite songs but they mean so much to me mow because they were mine), and a NEW MIDNIGHTS BODYSUIT, the people were so kind, I did my nails the eras colours, my hair was behaving itself (for once)

10. Do they have any regrets?

Leo: Many. So many. Just look at the Darkai quest and that'll just show you how much regret and guilt he has.

If I had to give one example at the top of my head, not telling Cain how he felt when in the Void is something he regrets. It all worked out, but at the time, not saying anything and losing Cain was something that would haunt him.

Blair: I really need to replay Reborn once the community release is out. I feel like Blair needs some cleaning up character wise, or rather I just need to be refreshed on who xe are. That being said, I think not saving Suraya from Gardevoirs blast is one regret xe have, as her body gaurd. Another, bigger regret, was not being able to save Lilith. For granted, not saving Lilith spared her from Sigmund, something xe would not wish on anyone. But not being with xyr sister for 10 years is something that weighs on xem slot.

Asra: Hmmmmmmm. I think letting Scarlet get that far into her mindset before joining Crescent is something they regret. Maybe if they said something, she wouldn't have joined. Things are more than fine now, but I can see Asra wishing they've done more. Everything with Tristan I feel is made of regret and guilt.

19. How easy is it to become their friend?

Leo of the three arguably the most social lol. He likes being around people, for the most part! Though making friends depends on if you vibe with him and he vibes with you. I like to think his pathetic cat boyisms make him hard to resist though.

Asra isn't exactly shy by any means. They just prefer the quiet. That being said, they have the charisma to carry themselves in pleasant conversations. They can be aloof at times, and it could take a while for them to fully open up outside of pleasantries, but I like to think they are generally pretty friendly. Wait. I almost forgot. They can be pretty awkward when talking to people sometimes. They usually have some level of control within a conversation, but there's some topic that have them stumped and just don't know what to say ( for example: hobbies).

Blair is ice cold lol. They have trust issues and lots of trauma to boot, so letting people in is kinda a no go for xem. That doesn't mean you can't worm your way into their heart - look at Suraya n Leo. But yeah, they are very introverted, much preferring to just look on in the sidelines, being cold to anyone that comes close....unless your friends or family. Post game Blair is a bit more softer, or at least trying to be, given we were given the opportunity to study and become a pokemon professor like xe dreamed to be. Xe are still pretty cold, but try to be nicer ( Blake tests xyr patience every day ). Way into the future, being a pokemon professor definitely made them much more approachable! Instead of the freezing cold xe would give off, Blair is more of a quiet chill, but nothing too intense. Overall pretty friendly, and good with beginner trainers. Still pretty distant to those they don't know, so friendship is still gonna be something you with for.

34. How well do they deal with grief?

WOOH BOY. Bad. All of them I think.

Leo literally had a psychic breakdown when Taka died. And the results of that basically pushing people away who are worried for him. Ame and Kiki's death also just increases his guilt about everything, which again, makes him believe that people are safer at a distance. Leo is...very mentally unwell during the post game, even despite finally coming to terms with himself. Richard doesn't help at all in the slightest.

God, I didn't even mention how Leo thought Suraya, Cain and so many others were dead. That devastated him. So bad.

Blair whole life is filled with the grief over xyr family, xyr childhood, xyr dreams. The results was xem becoming a shell of a person in the orphanage, and become an ice cold assassin as an adult. I don't think they properly grieved until the post game, really. They just kept moving forward without even bothering to examine xyr emotions. Xe didn't want to.

Asra lost Tristan, a valued friend, someone who they hoped to help just like the rest of the dreamscape. Dare I say, they loved him ( platonically, romantically? Shrugs). So for Tristan to disappear in their arms, cursing Darkai, it was. So much. They didn't exactly have time to really. Grieve. Had to keep moving. But when they find out that they themselves are going to die? It all just hits them. To grieve a life that hasn't been lost yet - to grieve your life, that hasn't been lost yet. It's too much. It's all too much.

50. What is your favorite thing about them?

Leo is my favorite little pathetic gay catboy rat man. There's more to this title I just forgot lmao. This is very cruel to say but I love exploring how. Not okay he is. His guilt and shame and self hatred - all terrible, but I like exploring how that makes him do things, ya know? Especially when I know things for him get better.

Blair, I always loved xyr arc of letting people in again. And Bun Bun. Bun Bun is very important to xyr arc and I love them both. I hope to reexamine xem again when replaying reborn! Also it would be a crime if I didn't mention xyr long hair braid.

I always loved how Asra is goth lol. A plus sized goth. A plus sized goth that has a parasol that hides a sword. In general I just love their vibe. I try to make them seem cool and mysterious, but still approachable. They are calm and collected, and polite. But even with all that, they have their own worries that they try to keep to themselves. I really like Asra lol.
