a part of it too which was asked is how wyb’s relationship is with his dad + i guess how he is taking the romance between him and xz plus other things ( probably ) idk how cpfs thought of asking this. i’m not implying anything okay? the question was “Has the father’s attitude softened?” OP said that wyb has not returned home during this period and him & his father is always separated by by geographical distance. there is no time to sit down and talk with his father so the final result is still a deadlock.But they have to talk and wyb needs to take the initiative to speak to his father.

Sweat glistening on his forehead, he took four steps forward, finding it hard to muster up the courage to knock on her front door.

His thoughts raced faster than the speed of light, standing still like a tree.

His grip on the bouquet of lilies tightens, almost feeling like the flowers will explode in his hands.

The door suddenly is opened by an angel, his angel. It’s like time stopped and the only thing he could see was her face - her lips slightly parted and her cheeks just a tiny bit flushed. Her eyes darted from the bouquet in his hands to his eyes. Oh god, he thought, his legs were so close to giving up when she looked at him.

“Hello, Tobio. What brings you here?” She has a small smile on her face, her eyes refulgent. He swore he could see Sirius shining in there.

Despite the tight feeling in his throat he opens his mouth “Hi… I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go out with me and uh this is for you”, he hands her the bouquet and looks down.

She holds the flowers gently and slowly brings them to her face, closing her eyes she lets the smell hit her nose. “Thank you Tobio, how did you know lilies were my favorites?”

“I asked Yachi.” he whispers quietly, his voice slowly dying in his throat.

She nodded her head “Mmm.. okay and oh! Yes we can go out. Where do you wanna take me?”

“To the new aquarium that opened recently”

“Yachi sure gave you the best advice” she giggled at the bright red blush on his face. “Before we go I just need to put those in a vase… wanna come inside while you wait for me?”

He immediately nods his head, and she smiles at that. She turns her back to him and goes inside her apartment, leaving the door open for him. Awkwardly following her like a lost puppy, he looks around, finally seeing where she lives.

Eyes scanning his surroundings, he finds himself in awe at how comfy and pleasant her home looks. The small yellow couch, the fluffy carpet that looks like a cloud, and the dozen lamps scattered around that make the place look cozy. She interrupts his hawking, placing a big white vase decorated with blue shapes on her coffee table.

“I’m done, we can go now.”

The walk on the way to the aquarium is quiet. Kageyama is trying to keep his cool and not shake from nervousness.

‘’It's okay Kageyama.. no need to get so tense, I'm not judging you. Just please be mature and apologize’’ He looks up at her and sees her small smile ‘’Okay, I will try.. and I will apologize.’’ ‘’Oh? That's good to hear! Now let’s stop being so serious we have a date to enjoy’’ she grabs his hand and pulls him into the aquarium.

Violet: Hmmm, well, I’ve seen and heard a lot from him that is strange, useless, and ridiculous…but the one thing that sticks out in my mind is when he equipped our own children with titanium battle wear. You know what he used for the polar bear and walrus fight at his ice palace….

Well, Mr. Smarty decided to repurpose this invention…and he crafted it into battle wear for our kids! I walk in on our four oldest in the suits, at that time Varina was 9, Vera was 4, and Victor and Vallen were 1 and a half, so they were just babies! And I see them going at each other, and Zach’s cheering them on…oh I was LIVID!

Zach was literally encouraging our toddler son to defeat his siblings: “that’s right Victor take your brother and sisters down! Show us who the strongest member of the Varmitech Crew is!”

As soon as Zach saw me he turned even paler than I thought humanly possible for him, and he was fumbling for an excuse…guess who slept in the spare bedroom that night.

So…there’s that…ugh, it still makes me so mad!

Zach’s Truth

Zach: Craziest thing I did for love? Welll…Dating Gourmand to get over Violet was probably the craziest thing I did for love. I only started dating because I thought it would make me forget Violet, but it only made me want her more. I was in a seemingly committed relationship with him, but all I could think about was her.

So, my plan completely backfired, and I ended up hurting both of them for following through with that plan. Gourmand was mad at me for years, and Violet got into an abusive relationship….it was a crazy decision that had catastrophic consequences.

And getting Violet pregnant after only a year of dating, when she was 22, and marrying her a month after finding out about the baby when she had just turned 23 is right up there as one of the craziest things I did for love.

It was not planned, it was unexpected, it was crazy, but it was right, and even though we struggled after losing baby Alexandria, marrying Violet was the best decision of my life…Because she is my world.

sokka’s treatment in lok was astonishing tbh but i’m actually glad he was dead by the time the series started bc toph being a cop??? aang being an awful dad???? they would’ve ruined him and suki’s characters lbr.

as far as any possible kids go idk we didn’t meet suyin till book 4 we barely saw izumi i think they just didn’t want to make the new series be a atla reunion plus lok was only meant to be one season so they were making that shit up as they went along lmao. and back in 2012-14?? they didn’t know themselves what happened to sukka lmao.

sokka and suki are definitely the type to break up bc of long distance but then find their way back to each other a few years later especially as they settle into their roles in life.

while bryke definitely neglect suki and sokka to some capacity also they do have a soft spot for suki after bringing her back. many don’t consider her to be team avatar but they’ve stated they do so idk ! she shows up a lot in the comics which have obv been created post-lok and it’s been said that they’ll utilise it’s plots and characters in shall see in future projects (crane fish town becoming republic city maybe??? where suki currently is working?? and sokka later lives!!)

i’m p sure suki will be in it at some capacity anyway and that there’ll stick with jennie as she’s one of the few asian og va’s. she’s doing a lot of work atm for avatar studios.

also random but i literally found out today that it’s not bryke-confirmed that mai and zuko end up together. it was a comment on a panel by the old comic writer. it’s not technically canon. izumi is the spit of mai anyway but hmm! interesting!!

oo big ask ok let me break this up into different paragraphs …

fist point - one thing i will admit about lok is that it fell short in incorporating the original characters into the new series in an interesting way with enough verisimilitude (realistic-ness) that it didn’t feel like they were just throwing a popular character into an episode for the sake of it. such as the whole ‘aang is a bad dad’ thing because they under-utilised him as a mentor figure to korra and instead focused on his supposed favourite son (i have thoughts on this re. aang NOT being a ‘Bad’ dad but i will make another post on it if u are interested (or have i alr made one? i’ll make another one.))

i have to agree that they would’ve probably done something shitty to sokka or suki if they were included. especially with the entire first season of lok being about bender/non-bender equality… i can just imagine they’d make sokka say something dumb about the equalist movement being 100% Bad instead of him actually supporting some of their completely valid arguments. idk. i’m sad there’s no sukka but at the same time…. quit while ur ahead yk.

second point - sukka long distance relationship is so real ESPECIALLY during their first few years together. i can see them just kinda calling it off because of commitment issues due to their work, etc. but not ever really losing feelings. they’d be endgame tho🥰

i can absolutely see suki being in upcoming projects! especially since she and the other kyoshi warriors expanded their reach across the nations - it would be hard to ignore them completely if we’re assuming they’re including comic canon into the universe. i hope jenny returns!!

third point - yeah! how crazy that maiko as izumi’s parents isn’t canon confirmed… though she’s so clearly mai’s daughter. i wonder if mai’s role will be expanded in upcoming projects / if she’ll be featured more. hmmm.

fourth - would honestly prefer this to the theory sokka is her father lol. it kinda baffles me that TOPH became a cop.. not bc she opposes authority - there’s something different about enforcing it than there is having to follow it. i can see toph in authoritative positions, and she fits them well. but i think it baffles me moreso because why would toph even work as a COP? isn’t that boring as hell for her?? go do something awesome like probending or professional underground fighting (adult blind bandit anyone?? this would make a good fic) or literally just construction idk i feel like toph isn’t a Hard Worker type that would want to be stuck in such a rigid career.

23. The fandom you're curious about because of a mutual:

@stvlti posting on my dash about the new Scott Pilgrim anime got me curious enough to start watching it recently! I read those comics back in college and thought they were pretty great, as was the Edgar Wright movie. And the anime seems like a very good adaptation of it so far. Can't explain how funny it is as a Canadian to see Canada as the setting for an anime, either... I just feel like we have such a bland normie country to set things in, hahaha

I'm also getting very curious about a ton of different manga thanks to the recs I've received on my blog recently! (X)

25. A piece of advice for taking care of yourself in fandom spaces:

HMMM.

I think the main thing I get people asking me about here sometimes is how to make more friends in the fandom, especially when you're new and don't know anybody. I think the main bits of advice I have on that front is:

(1) I SWEAR YOU AREN'T BEING SNUBBED/INTENTIONALLY IGNORED, YOU'RE PROBABLY JUST NOT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S RADARS AT ALL

So follow a bunch of other bloggers in that fandom and interact with their blogs first! Like their posts, send them polite/friendly asks looking for their takes (this is especially easy to do when people reblog ask memes), and be brave enough not to go on anon when you do it so they can see your lovely face and actually potentially make a connection with you! Most people LOVE getting asks and are flattered when somebody else asks for their thoughts. If you're genuine with your interest it shouldn't take long for other people to start taking interest in you back.

Which leads to my second point of:

(2) MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY ARE POSTING THINGS ON YOUR BLOG ON A SEMI-REGULAR BASIS! People will probably click on your blog once you start interacting with them, and they will most likely only follow you back if you actually have stuff on your blog that shows your interests/personality/the kinds of things they can expect you to be posting on their dash! You can easily stock up a bunch of posts into a queue if you're worried about spamming the dash or don't want to be online 24/7 too, so it will keep your blog active without you actually having to be there all the time.

ALSO DO NOT HAVE TOO MUCH SHAME TO LITERALLY ASK YOUR FOLLOWERS TO SEND YOU ASKS. Reblog fandom ask memes, it's a great way to give people a template of questions to bug you nicely with, and answering one ask often leads to receiving another ask!

(3) DO YOUR OWN THING WHETHER OR NOT ANYBODY IS CONSTANTLY PATTING YOU ON THE BACK. First and foremost I'm usually making myself laugh here on my blog and hoarding all of these posts for myself, so even when I'm not getting constant feedback from others I'm still having a good time and posting on the regular! I'm SUPER glad that other people get something out of it too, but I think when it comes to blogging you should treat your blog like your own personal little kingdom where you are making the rules, and other people can follow or unfollow as they please.

And finally:

(4) YOU WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE A FOLLOWER OR TWO, BUT SO DO I AND SO DOES EVERYBODY ELSE. Try not to obsessively check your follower count or to take it as a huge calamity if your count goes down instead of up once in a while! It WILL eventually go back up again, and you genuinely have no idea why it dropped most of the time (it probably wasn't anything majorly personal - maybe somebody just is no longer in your fandom, maybe Tumblr is clearing out some porn bots, maybe a follower is deactivating their blog - or maybe you DID post something that somebody didn't like, but that's ok, it's probably better if they aren't following you anymore anyways!) And you should ALSO block/unfollow people freely if they're really making your blogging experience uncomfortable - at the end of the day you don't really know them and they don't really know you, and you will both probably move on and forget about it not too far down the road.

1. List 3 positive things about your current fandom(s):

(1) Genuinely extremely chill and cozy, and almost always has been in my experience!

(2) People have the best sense of humour here. IDK I think I took it for granted that all fandoms were like that but anytime I venture into other ones I find myself being a bit disappointed that people just aren't as funny in general a lot of the time

(3) OMG thank you everybody for all the delicious fanfic and fanart, and for continuing to still make it steadily even in 2023

8. You hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc.):

I'm gonna advocate for a ship I don't even have a ton of personal investment in and say meronia! God, stop sleeping on this pairing already and/or acting like it's way more problematic than it actually is, you silly ancient fandom you (no, they are not basically related, they simply went to the same school in their childhood for a bit). These two definitely deserve to have their relationship a bit better explored!

16. A tiny detail in canon that you want more people to appreciate:

Watari had an entire-ass family of his own, apparently!

Isn't that weird to think about? There is actually SO MUCH unanswered stuff about how his relationship with L actually was set up, especially if you are just going by the original manga serial and aren't using the one-shots or the anime or LABB novel to flesh out L's backstory or any Wammy's lore. And sometimes I think it might be neat to see people exploring it in totally different ways that would still be 100% plausible based on what little we know!

15 Day QL Challenge: Day 6: Fave Line From Your Fave Series

This post has spoilers for Not Me.

Okay, fave series is easy. Not Me, hands down, nothing else comes close, not even my number two, Bad Buddy.

But favorite line? That's a tough one. I'm not even sure I remember any of the lines.

Actually, Bad Buddy would be an easy cop-out. "First one to fall in love loses" immediately popped into my head. It's so insanely ridiculous, especially considering PatPran are both already head over heels in love.

But that wasn't the assignment.

I really can't think of any line from Not Me that made my jaw drop.

In this series, White takes the place of his twin brother Black to find out who in Black's gang of eco-activists put Black into a coma.

The scenes where Yok convinces Dan to pose nude for Yok and where Black rescues the gang at the hospital are standouts, but I can't think of any lines that are exciting in the first and Black didn't say anything in the second, he just went full attack mode, so not a line.

There's the scene where White realizes his privilege is pivotal, as is the scene where Yok realizes his actions have impacted his mother's ability to make a living. And the scene where Sean nearly chokes White to death in anger.

It's also great when Sean figures out that "Black" is an impostor. And the follow on drinking game scene where Sean asks "Black" "Do you have a brother?" - hey, I did remember a line - and we know he knows something is up. Actually, "Do you have a brother?" is probably a good runner up.

It's been a while since a rewatch, and I'm not about to binge it today. But my thoughts go to the particularly delicious confrontation scene between Black and Todd, so I'm going to rewatch that.

Actually, before I watch I'm going to guess it will be the line where Todd tells Black to go ahead and shoot Todd. And it's a fave because of what Black does in response.

Okay, let's go find that scene.

Here it is, episode 13 2/4 8:20-13:39. Great scene that totally shows off Gun's and Sing's acting skills and Nuchy's director skills.

Actually, I see I forgot quite a few details of that scene. For example, that Black also tells Todd to kill Black.

So, what's my favorite line from that scene?

Hmmm, okay.

Well my favourite piece of fanwork from a stranger, and this is going to age me and idk maybe lose followers haha, but back in like 2020 I LOVED South Park and I was very into the Kyman ship. And there was this fanfiction called Disintegration (Is The Best Album Ever). The fic had fanart and animation to co-alongside the great writing. And I was obsessed. And still, to this day I think about it, It made a long-lasting impression in my mind.

Now there are a lot of talented people on this app, and nearly all of my mutuals have posted something utterly mind-boggling it leaves me thinking about my life and career. (You think I'm joking, I am not.) But I think I'd have to say my favourite fanwork might be @theangrypomeranian 's Fic "i hate accidents (except when we went from friends to this)" When a new chapter came out on Roudise Week each day, I was always so excited to read it and see how the story progressed! Pom is an amazing writer and the clever idea of using the prompts from the week for the plot of the story is just exquisite. There is one more which is "And In the Backseats We Just Tried to Find Some Room to Breathe" By @ltwharfy. This fic is SO GOOD, that It's literally canon in my mind. It's literally canon in the show, I know it is, I am Rudy Steiblitz. He writes Louise and Rudy so well.

I have had a few friends make me things over the years, and probably my favourite one has to be from my friend back in high school. I LOVE Nightmare Before Christmas, and for my birthday one year, he painted a mini-portrait of Lock! Lock is the reason behind my username btw if you guys didn't know. That present is still on my wall in my study and I love it.

Hmmm, once again, I guess this is more of a collection of thoughts over two specific things. What do I want my followers to know? As a whole, I feel that I'm pretty honest with people on here and don't hold back all that much. You all clearly know that from all my shit-posting. I guess that I want people to know that when it says I'm online here that I'm likely not actively ignoring anyone.

Along with this, if we are talking and don't respond right away, or drop off in a conversation that it isn't likely that I'm angry or uninterested in writing with you. Sometimes, I just do that especially when I'm trying to get things done here. I'm a very much an all or nothing person and some days I'll be able to get out 15 things in one day and other times I'm getting only one thing done a week. If I get distracted by chatting, I end up losing my writing momentum.

When I decided to come back, I didn't think that the RPC was going to be as active as it was 3 years ago. But boy, was I surprised. Admittedly, I kind of bit off more than I could chew when I made this blog and probably have taken on more mutuals than I should have. But, uncharacteristically, I'm not deterred by that, at all. I have genuinely enjoyed writing here again, and I've been more consistent about writing as I ever have been, and that's thanks to all of you. Everyone here makes me want to be here and I don't feel overwhelmed like I normally would. You have made it all so easy to be here, and for that; thank you.

I love this. I LOOOOVE THIS. I believe that it requires a lot of talent to write funny stuff, and i noticed how you give us these funny moments, and then, when we have our defenses low you punch us with sadness and dispair, and i'm dead. I love it, i said it already i know.

I can't express just how tickled I am to hear you're still laughing about this stuff over breakfast. Thank you so much! Nothing is ever funny to me the fourth time I read it, so by the time I publish these chapters I have no idea whether the humor works or not. The best comments in the world start with "I laughed at the part…."

I feel like I owe followers of Quidditch is for Losers a big apology because I'm taking so long to update. I don't want to start posting again until I've finished writing the next full arc which takes us to the end of the PoA timeline - about 10-12 chapters. I can tell you Ginny's brothers are still driving her nuts, Harry still triggers a (WTF) blushing response and when Professor McGonagall said Ginny's teachers failed her, she meant it. They will not make that mistake twice. And that's just what's happening on the outside. Ginny is navigating all this with leftover social-emotional-psychological baggage and she can't process her emotions the way she would in canon because she still can't get on a broom without losing her lunch.

I can't promise when I'll get posting, but I do know what it's like to wait for updates and I can promise I'm working on it. I haven't lost passion for this project and I'm excited to share what I have planned (even though I'm looking at it for the 37th time and wondering 'hmmm, funny?'). I'm working through how Ginny's highs and lows weave together - I'm writing and rewriting (and re-rewriting), tossing stuff out, putting stuff back in, worrying about the depressing-uplifting balance. But it's coming along. Soon. Soon-ish. Soon adjacent?

the character everyone gets wrong

Hmmm, I don't think I really have a character that comes to mind that I can confidently say "Yeah, everyone gets this one wrong". I think it's more that there are characters that fandom strips down to a singular trait and then a lot of iterations within fanworks then become an exaggeration of that one trait until the character is a hyperbole of themselves...which probably sounds like I am saying "yeah they all get this one wrong" but I'm really not. See, using that for comedic effect is great and all, and I sometimes really enjoy it, and a caricature is not necessarily wrong...it's just exaggerated. I tend to try to stay away from the word "wrong" when dealing with fandom interpretations because things are so subjective.

I do have a few characters that come to mind, though, for how often they are written as a caricature or one-dimensional or boiled down to one trait. This isn't accusatory or anything, just my observations: Deku (Izuku Midoriya) from BNHA - The amount of times I've seen him written as "uwu poor bean" or "innocent" or "too precious for this world".... like. Y'all. He canonically breaks his own bones to save other people again and again and again. But then it swings the other way with people writing him as a "badass who does no wrong". I promise you this boy messes up and when he does, he messes up Royally. Also, he is not suave At All in the source material, lol, he just has a few badass lines and faces danger even when he's terrified, but there are plenty of times he makes mistakes, can't talk to girls, embarrasses himself, and is even paralyzed with fear. Overall, he's a pretty well-rounded character. That being said, whatever you wanna write, go for it.

Grimmjow from Bleach: Yeah, I love the "Grimmjow is a Giant Cat" joke, and I've written it myself. But sometimes even for me it's too much. He's more than just 'a cat' (and really, all cats have a unique personality). He's an amalgamation of souls with murderous intent and a goal of being King. He wants to be the Strongest. He canonically tries to murder Rukia and Ichigo both. He gets loses an arm. He has this weird list of checks and balances where he doesn't harm Orihime because she restored his arm, even though harming Orihime would definitely get to Ichigo and draw him into a fight to the death. He does a 180 in TTYBW and is fighting on the same side as Ichigo, in a 'enemy of my enemy is my friend' sort of deal, because his home is threatened. He ATE his followers/friends to even become an arrancar in the first place. There is more to him than 'hehe, oversized cat', and I feel like sometimes even I need a reminder of that. (and I really love his character)

Endeavor from BNHA: Oh no, I get it. This man does horrible things. I just kinda get tired of fics where he's characterized as remorseless (he's not; that is shown very clearly, even if he still has a long way to go to even begin apologizing/making up for how he's been) or even considered Worse than All for One. You know, All for One, the Villain who is so terrifying even other villains are afraid of him. The dude who manipulated a child and raised him into someone who would attack other children, the dude who wants to squash the very symbol of hope for everyone. Endeavor is a shitty dad, and he does shitty things, but he is not so one-sided. Yeah, he's very self-centered and insecure, doesn't make him evil. He's aggressive and doesn't pay attention to collateral damage. Still doesn't make him evil. Dangerous? yes. Abusive? yup. I guess I just hate when people see him act one way and instantly decide there's no way to redeem him. He would have to do a lot of inner work, but he has the potential to, and I think a lot of fandom consistently strips him of that potential because they'd rather see in black and white and label people as 'good' or 'bad' with no going back or forth, than to think that maybe humans are more complex and so maybe the characters in the shows they love are more complex as well. Idk. I kind of rambled a bit on this one. If you want to see more of what I think could be done for Endeavor, you can look at the first work in my Adventure of the League of Dads series on AO3, I suppose. Or ask me about it. I don't mind talking about him. He's interesting to me, and I think he reflects some people I have known in my life, which is maybe why I have such an interest in him being able to change.

I have more, but I think I'm gonna leave this list here, or we could be here all night. Lol.

6. which ship fans are the most annoying?

So I don't actually think there's a particular ship out there with fans who are more annoying than other ships, but I think there is potential for fans of any ship to be annoying. Basically, the annoying stuff is not connected to the ship, but to fan behaviour. Really, I think the most annoying types of ship fans are the ones who will send death threats and anonymous hate to people who either dislike the ship they enjoy or who like a ship they don't enjoy. Imagine sending death threats and hate mail over people that don't even exist...Imagine sending hate mail or threats at all...like damn. Some people really need to grow up. But as I said, these fans can be (and are) present in any and all fandoms, for any and all ships. Maybe there's more for a lot of the mainstream stuff, but that's just because there's more people following that stuff in general.

I think in the sense of paranoia the Eye and the Stranger can be very similar.

Is this, besides MAG 156 Reflection, the only episode featuring a mirror? I personally find mirrors quite unsettling, I'd totally do more with them.

Those unseen eyes that hover everywhere and won’t let me rest." - Lack of sleep seems also be heavily tied to the Eye (yeees, I know there's a Spiral fatigue episode coming up, but still). We know Jon had problems sleeping, his "victims" have problems with it. Also it makes sense, when you're sleeping you can't be collecting new knowledge.

"of what he called “outer cults”, small organized groups of worshippers whose beliefs weren’t simply deviations from paganism or other major religions, but seemed to focus on holy beings or concepts completely apart from what would be considered normal religious practice. So there's some significance to cameras in the statement (statement-giver being a news anchor and getting mad about all the cameras pointed at her) and then again we get significance to cameras post-statement in the form of Elias giving the CCTV footage to Jon.

Hmmm, is the high-pitched noise and static of Not!Sasha's presence quieter during the intervention?

I also noticed that the entire episode (statement and supplemental dialogue) is spoken a lot quicker than usual. Normally Jonny takes time to narrate. I wondered, if maybe they had to pick up speed because the episode would have gotten too long otherwise, but no… Episode is only 18 minutes.

Maybe because it has multiple actors who had to finish quickly? Hmmm

Also I think a recall that there are some lonely episodes that depict mirrors

like it started with him being at the 118 and without him already there and sticking it out against all the odds, hen probably would not have stayed as long as she did and they wouldn’t have changed the 118 the way they did, making it a save place to land for bobby and then buck and then eddie and hen and karen might have never met, might have missed their chance to work it out and he also was so instrumental to pulling maddie back into life, buck alone probably would not have managed it quite like that <3

1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

hmmm i'd say probably a healthy mix of the two? i have to plot/outline something (even just a pwp oneshot) before i dive in, i am definitely not the kind of person who can fly by the seat of their pants. however i also really like striking while the iron is hot, bc i feel like the words usually flow the fastest when an idea is fresh. so i'll at least try to ride the wave of dopamine and outline an idea in full as soon as i get it 😂 writing the actual thing usually takes much longer!

2. Where do you get your fic ideas?

honestly i don't even know half the time 💀 sometimes a friend will say something to me and my brain just zooms, sometimes it's partially based off my own life, sometimes it's based off something i read or watched or heard in a song. i just have a very overactive imagination lmao!!

6. What’s the last line you wrote? & 7. Post a snippet from a wip.

i'm combining these two together bc the last two lines i wrote are funny and not really a spoiler for anything so here u go:

The whole night gets fuzzy around the edges when Matthew storms into the kitchen and abruptly changes the music to Bad Bunny before making everyone do a round of tequila shots for seemingly no reason at all. For a while you lose Tiffany to the magnetic power of his body rolls, and you can’t exactly blame her.

13. Do you listen to music while you write?  If yes, what have you been listening to recently?

not while i write, no, but music is a huge part of my inspiration process! i just can't focus while listening to anything with lyrics (even if they're in a language i don't understand lol). but here are some songs on the LDOMLT ch 11 playlist 👀

i do, though sometimes i can get WAY too carried away with it for something that truly no one will give a fuck about lmao. LDOMLT has definitely had the most research put into it - on the music industry, on the grammys, on los angeles and seoul, on visas 😵‍💫 so much lmao

21. Do you prefer writing chaptered fics or one-shots?

oneshots for sure! i've loved writing my series but it's certainly a labor of love. it's a much deeper commitment required!! and i'm a commitment-phobe 😅

22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process?  How do you come up with titles?

i'd say 9/10 times i have a working title while i'm writing the fic, and that usually ends up becoming the title, tho sometimes i change them last minute (it's sweet was almost called that's life, for example 👀) - and i usually steal my titles from songs, tho not necessarily always songs that inspired the work in question (for example it's sweet is a liz phair song but it.... is very off-brand for that fic 😂)

25. What’s your favorite part of the writing process (worldbuilding, brainstorming/outlining, writing, editing, etc)?

i always joke with my friends that i like everything about it except writing, lmfao. i LOVE outlining, plotting, brainstorming, and i LOVE editing and polishing. but i fucking hate drafting so much 👹 WHY CAN'T THE WORDS JUST PUT THEMSELVES ON THE PAGE

honestly, i'm not always motivated 🤷‍♀️ but i try to show up anyway, regardless of how i feel. the hardest part for me is always getting started, so i do my best to push through that initial block and try to get words down anyway. worst case scenario, if i go back and truly hate them, i can delete them. but i don't think that's ever happened!

He’s late. Just as you thought, but that’s expected of Pro Heroes and you can’t blame him for being one. You knowingly accepted your common law conditions, so you can’t complain. You reached for your phone hoping to see his name tangled within the notifications.

NekoZawa: late

Was the only message that caught your attention with a little bit of disappointment. Deep down you already knew it’d come to this, but you still can’t help feeling let down a bit. As you were about to change out of your getup a series of sharp knocks startled you, catching you off guard.

“It’s mee!” shouted the familiar voice.

Midnight?!

You rushed to open the door.

“Kayama? You’re ba—,”

“Ahhhh! So cute, so delicate, just youth!” she huffed in excitement at the sight of your longline lace bra and single-ruffled panties.

“Ah! Wai—youth? You know we're not that far in age,” you said, as you try to hide behind the door.

“Please, I'd kill to be 5 years younger, and don’t even try hiding from me. Even though he doesn’t care much about looks this definitely falls within his tastes,”

You blushed at the compliment, wishing it had come out of Aizawa’s mouth instead.

“Anyways,” she continued, “how about some bubble tea? I got your favourite,” she whipped out a bag of drinks from behind her. You wonder if she knew of your plans and came to cheer you up.

Who am I kidding, she’s an R-rated hero. Her sixth sense is basically her sex sense.

“Yeah, I could use some company,” you smiled in relief, thankful for her sharp intuition.

Before you knew it, 9PM became 11PM in what felt like 30 minutes and that heavy feeling weighing on your chest left after a couple of laughs here and there. You couldn’t help but feel better in the presence of Kayama, you have no choice but to feel better in her presence.

“And after I showed his class a pic of you, that grape idiot said ‘ if that raggedy ass man of a sensei is able to snatch a woman like that then there’s still hope for me, right?! Right?!’ in that stupid lisp of his! I couldn’t help, but cackle in his face! Hahahahahahahaha!”

“Grape idiot?!,” you laughed, almost choking on your tapioca.

“It caused this huge uproar which took Aizawa an hour to settle down,”

“Sounds like an exaggeration to me,”

“Really? Then I’d have to ask Principal Nezu for permission to let you visit. Hmmm, maybe a surprise visit during his birthday, I’d get to see that purple shit bleed from his eyes again. Hah!” she said, her sadistic side twinkling in her eyes.

You could tell she wasn’t lying about the surprise visit as she hummed her thoughts between sips of beer. Although you know how much Aizawa likes to keep his private life separate from his professional life, your thoughts couldn’t help but ponder in curiosity at how he acts around his infamous class 1-A students. All he ever does is complain about them every time you ask, but just thinking about him acting like the strict teacher Kayama says he is . . . makes . . . you . . .

“Oi, oooii . . . I said OI!”

“Gah!”

“What the hell’s got you blushing like a dazed mess?”

“Blushing? . . . !”

You clasp your hands over your face, as if you’re trying to keep your thoughts and daydreams from escaping. You let your imagination run wild just from thinking about Aizawa as a teacher — his strict demeanour and cold eyes piercing through you . . . his deep growls muffled at the base of your neck as his grip tightens around your waist and hair . . .

“Oh! What time is it?” Kayama exclaimed, disrupting your thoughts.

You reach for your phone to check the time, seeing 11:17PM illuminating from the screen before flipping it to Kayama.

“Perfect!”

You cock your head to the side trying to think of what could make Kayama that excited, but before you could react, her quirk had already taken hold of your consciousness.

Aizawa let out a heavy sigh staring at the time on his phone. It wasn’t the first time he’d let you down like that, even though it’s out of his control he still can’t help feeling disappointed in himself. Pro Heroes always have unpredictable schedules, but still, he’d wish his schedule had gone his way today.

“Thanks as always, Eraserhead. I’ll send the details your way once we’ve confirmed the date,” Tsukauchi reassured, dismissing him for the day. Aizawa nodded in response, finally, he thought. As he walked out of the station, his phone vibrated.

Ugh, what now?

He reached for his phone and unlocked his screen.

Kayama? Probably just more cat pics.

But much to his surprise, the series of pics caused him to stop in his tracks.

Kayama: Bon appétit! *kissy face*

Was the only message that followed at the end of the series of pics. After Kayama used her quirk to put you to sleep, she happily cleaned the place up and settled you prettily onto the bed in an innocent, but also, somewhat tempting position. Who could blame her? She had a knack for setting up tempting situations for her best friends. Aizawa tapped on each pic, examining the details of your delicate lace bra and fluttery panties. He really wished his schedule had gone his way today. The longer he stared at each pic, the bigger his temptation and pent up emotions grew — frustration, doubt, confusion, jealousy, anger, greed, love, lust, it was causing him to lose all sense of logic. You were causing him to lose all sense of logic and he hated it. It’s his first time experiencing something like this, he’d never romantically loved anyone until you came into his life. At first you were just like any other Pro Hero he teamed up with in previous missions, but the mission you two took on escalated into an emotional high profile case, which caused him to spend more time with you. One thing led to another and now, you’re each other’s common-law spouse. Both of you could care less about the huge wedding traditions of planning a wedding day, banquet halls, invitations and all that, but unexpectedly, he did buy you a wedding ring — a customized designer ring at that. Not only does he not care about appearances, but he also doesn’t seem to care about prices, so long as it serves its purpose.

“Uh, Eraserhead? Everything okay?” Officer Sansa tapped on Aizawa’s shoulder, breaking him from his thoughts.

“Huh? Oh, Detective Tsukauchi already settled on a date already?” Aizawa quickly locked his phone and tucked it back into his pocket.

“Um, no, he was actually worried about you . . . you’ve been standing still here for a while now, just staring at your phone . . .”

The logical Pro Hero himself didn’t even realize that he stopped walking and was surprised to see the station still behind him. Tch .

“. . . yeah, I think I should head home now. Someone’s waiting for me. Thanks, Officer Sansa.”

He waved at the cat officer before tucking his hand back into his pocket, unconsciously digging his fingernails into the palms of his hands in frustration. He hated this feeling . . . and he can’t wait to take it out on you .

Aizawa hesitates to open the door, unsure of how he’d react when he sees you for himself. He carefully turns the knob, making sure not to make a noise that’ll wake you from your peaceful slumber. You were just like the pics Kayama sent him — back exposed with the soft glow of the city night lights highlighting your dainty shoulder blades . . . arms clutching the pillow from underneath that pretty little head of yours . . . one leg hitched up to the side while the other was elongated and tucked half way into the sheets . . . As he reached to caress your face, he noticed his hand trembling from suppressing his temptation. Tch. He pulls his hand back in frustration.

“ . . . mmph . . . Shou . . . ta . . .” you murmured in your sleep in between heated breaths.

That was enough for Aizawa to let go of any sense of logic and common sense he had left, and before he knew it, he was hovering over you — the weight of his body sinking into the duvet. His eyes trailing over your features, watching your chest rise and fall with every breath you take — a reassuring feeling that you’re real and very much alive to him. He annoyingly hears his name from the teachers at UA all the time, but when it whispers out from between those pretty lips of yours, it made him experience a feeling he wasn’t used to controlling. He gave in, leaving trails of kisses that slowly turned into hickeys and then bite marks. He felt bad for leaving those marks on your supple skin, but he also wished they were permanent, as if the wedding ring doesn't speak for itself anymore. Aizawa’s grip tightened on your thigh at the thought of anyone else touching you, pinning your leg to your chest. His rough hand traces down your curves before slipping them in between your thighs — a wet sopping mess.

Ah, her panties are ruined . . . shame, he thought as he ripped a slit open, big enough for what you’re about to take in. Whoops . . . I’ll just get her a new one.

The temperature of your body was rising as he continued to press up against you, leaving marks on your collarbone and teasing your insides with his thick calloused fingers. A wave of pleasure ripples through your moonlight kissed skin, slowly pulling you back to your senses. You bat your eyes a few times to shake off the heaviness weighing on your eyelids.

“ . . .
