okay so izumi (oldest) doesn't actually know what he wants to do yet but he under no fucking circumstances wants to be a hero despite being enrolled at ua in the hero class named after the last two symbols of peace. damn, tough luck kid (he's not being forced to do anything, he'll figure out things himself).

aki (second oldest) wants to be his dad. like that's it. he wants to be exactly izuku jr, meanwhile the person who actually looks like the spitting image of izuku is like please don't associate me with him!!!

atsuna (third, first daughter) actually wants to be a patisserie chef!

kenji (fourth, third son) wants to be a racecar driver. this is so ironic considering his quirk. imagine inheriting gearshift and wanting to switch gears for a living. i'm tired.

aoi (fifth, twin) wants to be a doctor and ai (sixth, twin) wants to be a human rights lawyer!

In your opinion, does Daini Light / Namagem (from Megaman Fully Charged) count as a Proto Man? Or is he more of a Bass-like character?

I would call Daini Light Protoman inspired, however I don't see him as enough of a one-to-one to count him as a Proto. He's not a PROTOTYPE, is the thing, not the BIG brother; he and Aki are twins. Lots of the Fast Forward characters are drastically different from their counterparts, but they're named. If he was meant to BE Proto, I think they would have called him Protoman or Breakman at some point but they never did. "Breakman" would have been perfect, with him working for Breaker Night, and yet -

Aki and Suna seem to be composite characters of Rock and X, and Roll and Zero, so it would make sense for Daini to be a composit character too. Proto and Bass seem like a fitting combo, especially with the "Namagem" thing, but we're not given the same nudge with his names - Aki and Suna are both CALLED "Megaman" and "Zero" at some point, which tells us the intent, but the same isn't true for Daini. Honestly, I only say Suna's a composit of ROLL and Zero because she's Aki's sister, but there's little else connecting those two characters - I might as well call her a Dr. Hikari Jr. parallel, as the human child of Dr. Light.

There's also a little bit of Proto in AKI, as well! Because he and Daini are TWINS, they were BOTH built for WAR, which - while not true for EVERY Proto, he more often wasn't built for ANY purpose beyond Be Sentient - is a Proto trait, not a Megaman trait. Daini and Aki were built at the same time for the same purpose, making them BOTH the prototype warbot.

In many ways, Fully Charged is like "what if Dr. Light had differnt kids?" I would love to read a universe cross-over fic where the classic universe meets the fully charged universe, I think that would be really entertaining.

Summary: It's Denji and Power first Christmas

“ Look it’s Christmas Eve. I still have cooking ti prepare for tomorrow so you two can pick one-“

“ I WISH TO HAVE EVERYTHING!”

“ Hell yeah!”

“ ONE thing. You pick out one thing from the store!”

Denji and Power pout while Aki pinched his nose. He wished he could leave them at home but nooo they wanted to come. “ Just mind your manners and don’t trash the store, Power.” The fiend stuck her tongue out and dashed off into one of the isles. “!Denji keep an eye on her?” Denji scowls stomping his foot. “ Why I always gotta watch Power??” Aki rolls his eyes grabbing shopping cart. “ Hey we have an agreement whatever I say you do.” Aki walks pass Denji going to good isle. Denji goes down book isle. Reminding himself he could pick out one gift.

Denji never even heard of Christmas much to Aki’s shock. A day out whole year you get gifts? Must be nice. “ Pochita wish you were here with me..” Denji mumbles eyeing the swimsuit magazines. Christmas was special so Denji thought about his gift. What exactly would he want outside his dreams. “ Denji look at all these cakes!” Power grabbed Denji showing him the pastery display. “ Fruit cake?” Power sticks out her tongue in disgust. “ No fool THIS cake!” Power turns Denji’s head to look at the wedding size cake. He never had cake before. Maybe that’s a gift he wanted. “ Denji get the cake as your gift and then give it to me!” Power declares resting her head in Denji’s shoulder.

“ No way! I’m not wasting my gift you! If I get the cake it’s mine.”

“….are you still getting the cake?”

“ No!”

Denji groans, he didn’t know what he wanted. Anything he wanted he could get any day. Expect Miss Makima. Denji had to work harder to get her. Besides the point what did he want. Denji sees Aki putting some clothes in his cart. Maybe he could get Aki something. Sure he’s an uptight asshole and maybe his buddy did pass away. Aki didn’t kick him and power out the house Makima orders or not.

“ Power, Denji we’re leaving soon make a decision.”

Denji huffs stomped on what he wanted. Denji looks down an arts and crafts isle. “ Hm..” Denji makes it to the checkout line with Power and Aki. “ Power I said one thing.” Aki says holding cat toy and very large gummy bear. “ Not true one is for me and the other is for Meowy!” Aki doesn’t say anything giving them to the cashier to scan. “ Denji you found something?” Denji sets his gift on the conveyer belt. “ That’s what you want?” Denji nods and Aki shrugs placing everything else on counter to be scanned. Aki pats and the three take the shopping bags.

“ Hey let’s do that!”

Denji points at photo machine. “ Woooow let’s do it!” Power says rushing towards the machine. Aki chuckles joining them. “ Just one set and we’re going home.” The three gather on the small kiosk and draw the curtains. Denji manage to convince Aki to print three for each of them.

-Next day-

“ DENJI THE DAY OF CHRISTMAS IS NOW!”

Power jumps on Denji’s stomach making him wake up. “ Hurry Denji and watch me open my tributes!” Power dashes out the room and meowy follows behind meowing happily. “ Topknot look the Santa devil brought us offerings!” Denji walks pass a yawning Aki and gasps. Their small Christmas tree did in fact have presents under them lots of them too. “ Power open the ones that have your name on it.” Aki commands taking a seat.

Power rips into the wrapping gasp louder and louder by the present. She received mainly clothes, from Aki. There’s long one wrapped up. “ Power that’s from me open it!” Power tears into the messy wrapping and gasps. A cat head on a stick that opens and closes. “ Oh no.” Aki laughs immediately as Power hits him with it. “ I shall name it Meowy Jr!” The cat toy clamps open and close as Meowy tries paw at it.

“ Okay Denji open your gifts. “ Denji grinned unsure where to start. “ You should open mines!” Power says using her new toy to talk for her. Judging by awful wrapping it had Power written all over it. Opening it the gift was a cook book for cats. “ Now you can make tasty treats for my Meowy. Your welcome!” Power said proudly with a grin. Denji laughs he always wanted to try cooking. “ Pretty cool Power thank you!” Power looks surprise and gives a warm smile. Rest of Denji’s gifts were clothes and book about aquatic creatures ( from Aki), a sex Ed book ( the late Himeno), and a hoilday paycheck ( from Makima). Though everyone got hoilday paycheck from Makima.

“ I think that’s everything?”

“ We feast now?”

“ Aki did you get any gifts?”

Aki just shakes his head smiling. “ It’s fine. My Christmas is usually..quiet. This mainly for you guys.” Power and Denji glance at each other. They leave the room and return hands behind their backs. “ Bummer you didn’t get anything thing we got you stuff.” Denji and Power hand Aki his gifts. “ Uh..you guys didn’t have to…I’ll open this one first.” Aki pulls the ribbon and Power grins with excitement. It was a fox piggy bank. “ Because you have that fox devil!” Aki nods not having the heart to say Kon no longer has contract with him. “ Thank you Power. That’s actually very sweet of you.” Aki ruffles the fiend’s hair. “ Okay open mines Dude!” It was flat and light. Aki opens it and his eyes widen. A picture frame of him, Power, and Denji.

“ You didn’t have any pictures in your room so I thought why not get you one! We’re team after all!”

“ Huh you use your gift to becomes topknot’s gift?”

“ Duh- dude you crying? It sucks doesn’t it?”

Aki rubs his face and sure enough he’s crying. “ It’s perfect l, Denji,,,” Aki’s voice crack as tears continue to fall. “ You guys,,,aren’t such a pain after all,,,” Aki hugs the two surprising them both. “ Bro it’s just a picture no reason to cry!” Denji mumbles patting Aki’s back awkwardly. “ We’ll anything with me, the greatest president, is a luxury. “ Power giggles hugging Aki and Denji. Aki chuckles wiping his face. “ Wow,,uh I’m gonna get started on dinner.” Aki takes the picture frame setting it on the kitchen counter.

“ Yo someone’s the door?”

Denji goes to answer it seeing Kishibe. “ Teach? What you doing here? Oh and uh Merry Christmas?” Kishibe is drinking from his flask and has three boxes in his hand. “ You punks eating yet?” Denji shakes his head as Kishibe walks inside. “ Kishibe why are you here?” Kishibe groans taking a seat at the counter.

“ I’m bored and need something to do. So I figure I get some food, get drunk, and watch you clowns tonight.”

“ Okay..I think I have some wine.”

“ Teach are those presents for us?”

“ Gimme gimme!”

The small boxes had three colors: red, blue, and yellow. Power took the red one, obliviously, and opened it. “ I shall name this one Meowy the third!” A tiny cat keychain that Power clips to her cat stick. Denji got a dog keychain. Aki was a lighter keychain, yes it actually lights cigarettes. The trio and with their house guest enjoyed their Christmas together. A fine dream fulfilled and all Denji could ask for is to experience more holidays with his new found family.

Inazuma Eleven Headcanons

These are just my random headcanons, some a similar to Canon but I didn't know until I did some more research. Most of them are just silly shit. Some of these headcanons are true in my inazuma eleven go rewrite fanfiction.

Original Series Centric

Kidou & Haruna's parents worked for the Kidou Financial group before dying.

Endou's dad, Hiroshi, took his wife, Atsuko's last name because of there was no other male members of Atsuko's family.

Endou lived in Cotarl with Daisuke for the last years of his grandfather's life

Daisuke died at the ripe old age of 77, six years after season 3, he was 69 in season 3 according to my headcanon

Most of the National Japanese Teams have other jobs besides playing professional soccer; Fudou is a hairdresser, Kazemaru is a photographer, and so on.

When you wanna get plastered and have fun at a club? Call Fudou.

Aphrodi's parents weren't married and his mom was a japanese bussiness woman who died when Aphrodi was a kid and his dad is a Korean business man who had an affair that resulted in Aphrodi, he wanted nothing to do with Aphrodi

Nagumo's Korean on his dad's side and Japanese on his mom's, his mom was estranged from her biological family and when she & her husband died no one of her family wanted to take Nagumo in so he was sent to Ohisama En

Suzuno's parents are Korean who were vacationing in Japan, Suzuno was supposed to be born later after their vacation but was born premature causing his mom's death, meanwhile his father had passed away in a car accident on the way to the hospital. They had no other family in Korea so Suzuno was left behind and taken into the foster system

Midorikawa likes K-Dramas

Kidou isn't allowed to drive, either Sakuma, Genda or Haruna have to drive him

When in Okinawa, Aki visited her aunt, Tenma's mom and that's how Tenma knew about Raimon

Hiroto's birth name is Tatsuya, his parents were arrested when he was 3 and he was sent to Sun Garden where because he looked like Hiroto, they just started calling him Hiroto

Kageyama has a little sister that was born one year before his dad died, she's Hikaru's mom

Hiroto and Midorikawa are unofficially together, they live together & raise Kariya together but aren't officially in a relationship

Kidou isn't allowed to have pets

The FFI captains had a group chat together where Endou accidentally told them about the Alien situation

Mark Kruger & Dylan already knew because Ichinose & Domon accidentally told them

The break trio never told the others about the events of Chrono Stone and Galaxy, they will take that secret to their graves

Aki & Ichinose are long distance dating

Ichinose, Domon, Aki & Nishigaki, from Kirkwood, are still friends till this day, they all video call once a month

The Mukata triplets immediately knew who Ishido was and weren't pleased with Gouenji's stupid decision to join Fifth

Yamino/Shadow was from the original series' Seishou Gakuen

Kazemaru became blind in one eye after the Dark Emperor's, this is why he now covers one of his eye

Yuuka went to Raimon Jr for Jr High & Kidokawa for High School

Endou Daisuke visited the old Inazuma Eleven a few months after the FFI, he also visited the school and questioned why it was sooo very different and everyone refused to explain it to him

Daisuke is very protective of Endou, Rococo & all of little Gigantes to the point of being overbearing

Daisuke & the Yokato Principal reunited again after he visited Raimon

They all go to therapy & make the kids go too after all the Fifth Sector stuff

Gouenji purposely dressed like a hippie/stripper to distract Senguuji

Because people have a hard time pronouncing their names, they use localized names which are their dub names when playing international matches

Gouenji's stage name Axel is mispronounced as Alex by most people, including the cast until Ishido when he used Alex Zabel as Ishido's fake name

Gouenji Katsuya is very confused by his children's choices and refuses to deal with any of this

In GO, apart from Raimon, Midorikawa and the members of Gemini Storm are still not allowed in any school they destroyed

The Kidou & Kira groups basically gaslit the world into forgetting the Aliea incident. They made it so that not a whiff of information got out of Japan

GO Series Centric

Tenma had meet all the members of Inazuma Japan, including the managers and Coaches, before meeting Endou; Aki is his cousin, Gouenji saved him as a little kid, Tsunami babysat him multiple times, he used to play with Hijikata before moving to Inazuna town, etc.

Tsurugi's family isn't very rich and he uses his mom's very old flip phone because they couldn't afford it

Midori was a former delinquent, Tobitaka took her in and they have a sibling relationship

Tsurugi made his custom uniform, the school was impressed that he took the effort to make that and let him wear it

Tenma & Tsurugi have secret Hissatsu practices together, it started after Fire Tornado Double Drive

The kids all have to use stage names like the previously mentioned localized names

Shindou's mother is Italian, her father's name is Ricardo and maiden name is Di Rodrigo so Shindou uses Ricardo Di Rodrigo as his stage name

Like Gouenji, Tenma's name Arion is often mispronounced as Orion

Gouenji sent the money for Yuuichi's surgery

Alternate Yuuichi played professionally for the Russian Football team

Hakuryuu is an orphan, he was found by Fifth Sector in an orphanage and lives with Fudou after go Galaxy

Shuu is a fucking ghost, only Ancient Dark, Hakuryuu & Tenma know. Tenma knows because of the miximax, and Ancient Dark & Hakuryuu were told

Kira Shuugo is a distant cousin of Coach Hitomiko, he is in the same class as Kirino who mentioned that Kariya told Kira that be was a SEED and Kira had a laugh and told Midorikaw & Hiroto

Kariya was grounded for being a little shit

Hikaru's dad is a cousin of the Ichihoshi Brothers from Orion and was named for the deceased Ichihoshi Hikaru

Hikaru was bullied for years as a child and he was lonely since his parents were always working

Ichino is fanfic writer, Ayoma is his beta reader

Kinako managed to pass the interruption point and make a new reality where she lives & raises Fei as well as helping the Second Stage Children

Little Fei hated mochi with every fiber of his tiny adorable being

Senguuji Daigo is a single dad, his wife died giving birth to Yamato

Minamisawa's parents moved to out of the county because of his dad's work, he moved to a school with dorms because of this

Yamato loves his dad despite all the things he did but acknowledges that he did horrible things

Yamato styles his hair to look like his dad, his natural hair color is white

Kurosaki Makoto doesn't understand the internet, he is like a 80-year-old man in a teenager's body

Yukimura lives with Fubuki, his parents died aren't around much and Fubuki became his legal guardian

The second stage children are the descendants of the characters. Most obvious is Zanark and Zanakuro & Saru and Tenma

The members of Protocol Omega are Second Stage Children that El Dorado got to first

Beta is Sakura's descendant

The members of Chrono Strom that weren't picked for the Earth Eleven have a weekly bitching session topics include Shinsuke being a traitor, if Saru was a Tenma's descendant, and so on

The Earth Eleven do not know about Chrono Storm or the Revolution against Fifth Sector, they are very confused by inside things said by more aware characters

Shindou hated the Earth Eleven because they didn't respect Soccer

Tenma misses Fei, and every year on the day they meet he would go out to sulk and cry

Tenma & Tsurugi broke a goalpost when practicing Fire Tornado Double Drive, Gouenji paid for it

Kariya found out about the Aliea Academy stuff after he tricked Nagumo into telling him

Tenma, Tsurugi and Shindou were 100% sure that Zanakurou was Zanark fucking with them and were waiting for Fei too

Tenma was very disappointed when Fei didn't show up

The Second Stage Children have Totems, that's why SARU is a monkey

After being told about the Alien situation, Kirino went to Kazemaru for advice about being left behind being vague enough that he didn't spill any information about the aliens since they were in a public park and thought Kazemaru already knew about it

Kazemaru did in fact not know about the aliens and was very confused by Kirino but still gave him advice about his dark emperor experience while not telling all the things about the Dark Emperors

The Aliens don't know about Kenshin or Mixi-Max and only banned it since they assumed that it was an advantage to Earth

All the SSC kids have SOULS and Kenshins, their bodies just can't handle having or using them

Besides the SSC, if a normal person has a kenshin they can't use a SOUL and vice versa

The exception to this is people who mixi-max or Kenshin bonds someone with a SOUL, so Tsurugi & Shindou have Ookami and Peacock because of Gryphon

Ares/Orion Centric

Since Hiroto & Atsuya live in this reality and Ichihoshi Mitsuri is dead in that reality, I imagine in GO Ichihoshi Mitsuri is alive

Tenma's super good at house work & cooking! As seen in the manga!

Tsurugi's horrible at housework & especially cooking. He once created Mutant Broccoli that the team had to fight.

Shindou is semi-capable of housework & can make basic things in cooking.

Torb/Sor is in the same generation as Endou Canon, Baddap Sleed and so on

Toramaru joined Kidokawa Seishuu because he still idolizes Gouenji

Tsunami & Tobitaka don't play soccer in this reality

Since Gouenji never went to Okinawa, Tenma got extremely injured and got transferred to Inazuma Hospital & meet and befriended Yuuka & the Tsurugi Brothers and later Taiyou

The GO Kids attend different schools in this reality, here are some of the examples;

Kariya attends Alia/Eisei Academy instead of Raimon

Taiyou attends Outei Tsukinomiya because of Nosaka

Lus Kasim is a jack of all trades, Master of none as seen by the fact he was a FW, MF & DF

Tenma & Tsurugi attend Kidokawa Seishuu

Norika is the physically strongest of the Inakuni Raimon members, she's like the Team's strong mom

The real reason that Raimon were separated was because the Orion foundation wanted to weaken Japan

The Guardians of the Queen replaced Orpheus because Orpheus didn't want to work for Orion and were all injured by the disciples

The Ares/Orion timeline was created by El Dorado's meddling in the timeline

Zhao Jinyun knows about the original universe, he accidentally traveled there once

I’ll tell you:

The first character I first fell in love with: mafuyu. instant love. and i've loved his precious floof son for over 2 years now. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: honestly??? kasai. like i was meh on her but i do enjoy her character and it lowkey does annoy me how ppl still focus on chapter 6 but ignore chapters 7 and 12 and were like what??? at chapter 43 now??? come on. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: i thoroughly find the entire cast of given interesting and like each one to a certain degree. so for each cast member i do have a bit of love but if i were to name one i don't feel as much for is... yuki. and like i find the guy super hecking interesting and his importance to mafuyu's life, but there's just so little info on the guy that makes it difficult to know what he was really like. all we know that's concise is he was the centre of the childhood friend group, he was mafuyu's boyfriend and first friend, he and mafuyu were hella codependent, at a point he spent all his free time with the band and doing jobs so had zero time for mafuyu, and ofc he isn't around anymore. i want to know more abt him but most of what we've gotten is from either the rumours from jr high or hiiragi and shizu's pov and both had polarizing views of him. the best take we could get is from mafuyu but he hadn't opened up about him much at all so henceforth he's a mystery. i'm intrigued but the combination of lack of proper info on him and his fanbase being highkey really hecking toxic i just feel wary. The character I love that everyone else hates: kasai. please can we move past her telling ritsuka abt the rumours about yuki and idk look at her apologizing and even being the reason ritsuka went to visit mafuyu while sick instead? like she's the one who suggested it. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: uhhhh i like every character. i guess maybe... my favour for shizu has kinda faltered a tad bc of current events. though i also feel utmost concern for him bc he just seems like he's not in a good or healthy headspace rn and i worry. plus the guy's one of the youngest of the cast so he has room to grow too. The character I would totally smooch: i would smooch p much the entire cast but most importantly i would smooch the living daylights out of kedama. best floofer. deserves more love honestly. The character I’d want to be like: stopping to look at the cast uhhh... probably a die between the uenoyama siblings. ritsuka is honestly such a good guy who looks out for everyone and wears his heart on his sleeve and even helps out those who aren't that nice to him. yayoi for her empathy and honestly??? ability to just be open abt feelings and stuff. i'm shy as heck let me not be shy pls. The character I’d slap: in a loving way i'd slap ritsuka to tell him it's okay to let others know he's hurting and to stop overworking himself. the poor guy is wasting away bc he's doing all-nighters and is blaming himself for everything like pls boy stop. it's not your fault. A pairing that I love: ritsumafu is my brainrot haha. i love the pairing so much why else have they been my artistic muse as of late? i also love the other canon pairs in given and also have a soft spot for yayoi and aki haha. A pairing that I despise: any pairing that has ritsuka paired with anyone that isn't mafuyu and similarly any pairing that puts mafuyu with anyone that isn't yuki or ritsuka. i just... the thought of that makes me uncomfortable. it's not for me.

What are the dynamics like between your characters? Do they generally get along? How do their personalities and motivations bounce off one another? How do they come away feeling upon interacting with each other? 

My characters are split into a few groups which are often often interconnected. A good lot of them wouldn't get along should they meet, but that is unlikely to happen.

The biggest single group is probably my Norn, since they all come from the same family. Lorna, the Akis, Dak Jr, Ebba and Edda are all grandchildren of Dak Sr. They are on good terms with each other (though most of then not with their grandfather). Era and her adopted son Joff (aka Cap) live with the Akis most of the time as well.

Then there is the circle of Gentlemens Gang characters (my old rp guild), including Aerana, Elirea, Charrlotte, Vorpp, Joplin and alsp Dak Jr again. Not all of them have the highest opinion of each other, and Aerana is the boss of all of them so relationships with her are always influenced by that.

Other characters are alone or groups of two, and mentioning all the interconnections would either require me drawing a very complex diagram or a very boring list.

The groups are oftwn centered around one kind of relationship though.

Joplin and Bran hang out because they have both died before and that changed them in a way that makes it hard to connect with people who have never had such an experience.

Era and Elirea clash because they mourn their sister in completely different ways and it pushes them apart.

Aki and Other Aki are just extremely happy people and do their best to bring that to others around them, so Lorna and Era and Joff are there so they have people whose lives they can improve.

Lugard ans Gekk's interactions are always about Lugard being absolutely loyal and having to live with acting against his morals in the name of this loyalty.

Alright, I’ve been putting this off for a while now but since I’ve finally finished Return of Ultraman, time to talk about my opinion on the show!

... I’ll be blunt, I don’t think it holds up to Ultraman and Ultraseven.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad by any means, but in my opinion as a whole it’s not as good as its predecessors. The monsters weren’t as memorable (although I did appreciate Baltan and Zetton making a return), the MAT team didn’t really stick out to me, there were a lot of episodes that didn’t keep my attention until the end... It’s probably just a question of personnal taste, but this show didn’t do it for me.

Now with that said, there are still things that I enjoyed a lot in the show!

Hideki Go, for a start. I got angry about him a lot in the first two episodes, but as the show went on he really grew on me. Hell, I think as an ultra host I actually like him more than Hayata! Seeing his evolution throughout the series was a lot more fun than I expected. Same goes with Aki, Ken and Jiro actually! These four were great to follow around.

There were a handful of episodes that might actually be some of my favorites overall! Dark Monster Spit out the Stars! was great, In Between an Angel and Devil managed to make me like an episode plot I usually find frustrating,The Monster User and the Boy absolutely broke my heart, I’m Taking the Earth was good lighthearted fun, The Revenge of Baltan Jr. had a Baltan and that’s honestly all I could ask for, Space Warriors - Your Name Is MAT had my favorite “the monster is actually good” plot and The 5 Ultra Oaths was, in my opinion, a very satisfying final episode ; even moreso than the final episode of Ultraman. (Also let’s not talk about Ultraman dies at Sunset. That episode didn’t break my heart, it broke me).

All in all, I think Return of Ultraman is a not-great-but-not-bad show with an interesting main character and a few really, really good episodes scattered across some less captivating but still okay ones.

Regrets ever agreeing to going on this date, but then when he sees your face light up at the aspect of going to a Build-a-Bear workshop, he suddenly has no regrets, though he has to look like he doesn’t want to be there because he’s a toughie like that

Picking the stuffed animal: believe it or not, he get’s kind of involved. The kind of really annoying involved

“Idiot. Don’t get that one, the seam looks loose.”

“Those eyes are too creepy.”

“Why would you choose a bunny at a build-a-bear workshop.”

“Don’t get white, it’s going to get dirty.”

You don’t get annoyed though, even if some people are wondering why a Yakuza boss is in such a place, you find it cute that he’s trying to act all tough when in reality he’s kind of invested

Ultimately, you end up choosing the classic teddy bear, just because Samatoki said that it’s cute and that its the entire point of going to build a bear is to make a bear

For choosing clothes: this part takes even longer than the bear choosing part because Samatoki looks like he’s actually shopping and doesn’t let you get the pink sparkly ones because… I mean… he won’t be caught dead buying that for you

You decide though that he gets no say in it and you choose a white polo and black pants and rubber shoes

And a leather jacket

He realises it’s his clothes after like, fifteen minutes

You say that it’s because you want to be with Samatoki AKA Mr Ha Ko on The Microphone even if he’s not there with you

Samatoki really tries hard not to blush and is just calling you dumb repeatedly

For Accessories

You get a microphone. Enough said. You almost get the sunglasses but Mr Ha Ko said no even if he looked like he was thinking about it. Maybe next time.

For choosing the Sounds:

Though you get the burping sound so it’s funny, much to his chagrin

You immediately talk over the pros and cons of what cosplay to buy for the bear

Jakurai

Kind of reluctant, but goes with it anyway if that’s what makes you happy

However when you both get to the mall, he seems to be slightly into it

He actually thinks this would be a good idea for Doppo and Hifumi and for his clinic… mostly whenever Doppo visits he’s a nervous wreak.

Is kind of serene about it

Picks each one up gently and strokes it like really peacefully like he’s actually contemplating each one

He does suggest some, but mostly just helps you choose between the options you picked

Reasoning behind the Sabertooth is because it’s cute

Jakurai picks a heartbeat sound because whenever he visits the children’s ward, he wants the kids to hear the heartbeat of their new friend (no I’m not crying you’re crying bitch)

You pick a meow because it’s kinda cute to hear such a “fearsome” beast meow

Jakurai doesn’t even fight you at all, he’s like content to see you happy with what you’re doing, plus he’s also having fun making his wolf

Jakurai chooses strawberry because it’s kid-friendly and he remembers both Doppo and hifumi like that scent, as artificial as it might be

You pick lavender, well there’s no exact reason, but it might be Jakurai’s shampoo, though you never actually know because with hair as great as his, he probably uses a shit ton of great shampoo

For the Heart Ceremony

Now, Jakurai being 30 something and you being of the same age-ish, there is no way the two of you were going to do it

However, there are some small kids there that know Jakurai (and you by default) and look really really hopeful that you’re going to do it

So your mom and dad instincts come out and you both enlist the help of your kids

The employee does the usual heart ceremony, and you and Jakurai really enthusiastically do it with the kids because you’re motivated to make them laugh as the ceremony gets sillier and sillier

You see the genuine joy in Jakurai’s face when he’s helping people and you get a little emotional because wow he’s such a great guy

For Stuffing

You’re both careful with your toys and you know, you’re still gushing over Jakurai being a wonderful doctor and he’s good with kids (I mean he has two big kids, so how different would actual kids be)

He just says that you’re incredible as well

You know, you’re both at that age where you just want a fluffy domestic life so you’re both kind of just glowing in happiness

You sign each other’s birth certificates (DOMESTICITY IS LIFE BRO) and you name yours Airi (meaning beloved Jasmine) and he names his Tsuyoshi (which means strong) because he wants his patients to always feel like they’re strong and that they’re brave

"Matsukaze." Tenma was in her classroom listening to Haruna's history lesson when a voice from her right called her. She turned her head, meeting Tsurugi's eyes, and couldn't stop the flush showing up on her cheeks. He looks kinda good looking with that stern stare. Girls like the bad boy type, don't they? W-what am I thinking?!

"Ah...yes?" Tenma whispered, so that Otonashi-sensei wouldn't hear them.

"I forgot my textbook. Can we share?" Tsurugi asked. Tenma recalled him saying that they were partners and that they could help each other out. Tsurugi had never carried a bag now that Tenma noticed. He probably was leaving books in his locker, but why does he not have all the books in his locker?! Tenma wondered.

"Oh, no problem. But how do we do that? We can't join tables."

"Put it on the floor." Tsurugi replied, pointing to the space in between them. Tenma did exactly that. She then went back to looking at the board as Haruna wrote something down. Tenma copied what was on the board into her notebook. There was a still silence between them, until a few minutes later when Tenma heard Tsurugi grunting, "God, I can't see the words." Tenma turned her head back to the boy beside her who was looking down at her textbook. She copied where his glaze was and immediately understood what he meant. The words were really small from this distance. Too small to even make out the words printed on the pages. The only thing noticeable would be the pictures, but it didn't help much with understanding the lesson.

It was then when Haruna told the class to read their textbooks for better understanding of the chapter. Because the words are super small, they both had to bend down for a closer look at the book. And because they had to bend down, their heads were really close to each other. Tenma did not notice the closeness between them at first. Only when Tsurugi flipped a page and Tenma took a glance up at him due to reflex, that she found that their faces were too close to each other. Tenma had to fight off her blush from forming on her face. Luckily, Tsurugi was too busy with the book to notice Tenma's situation.

"So, how was history you guys?" Aoi asked during the break,

"It was awesome! We get to learn about Japan's past! Otonashi-sensei made it so interesting! She's my favourite teacher already!" Shinsuke immediately answered. Aoi nodded, agreeing with her statement. It was yesterday when Haruna taught her class history, and she too found it interesting through her teaching. She focused her attention to Tenma as she had not answered yet. Her friend looked like she was in a daze.

"What about you, Tenma?"

"Uhm...I understood her lesson and her teaching was very interesting. Also, Tsurugi didn't bring his book today." Aoi's jaw dropped. Not only were her thoughts about the lesson seemed like she was not interested in the topic, but also when she heard the mention of a certain bully, the liveliness in her voice appeared, like she was more interested about Tsurugi.

Shinsuke, on the other hand, didn't have any reaction to what Tenma said, mostly because of the phone call yesterday from Tenma where Shinsuke told that she trusted her judgement of Tsurugi, she also did have to agree with Tenma about the change in Tsurugi's personality as she noticed he was not bullying anybody in the same class as him unlike in elementary school.

"T-Tenma! Do you know what you are saying!?" Aoi questioned,

"Ah yeah...I-I know I'm talking about Tsurugi, but he's really a nice guy now!" Aoi sighed, she had given up trying to change her friend's mind. After her apology on the phone before bed yesterday, Aoi started to understand why Tenma had a different impression of Tsurugi than before. Her classmates were also saying that Tsurugi changed too, and seemed a lot nicer now. He still kept to himself, but the bullying stopped and instead, he was nicer to people. Aoi was still skeptical about it and was just worried about her friend.

"I understand Tenma. I'm just worried about you that's all."

"I know Aoi." They both smiled at each other, knowing that this problem was solved. They went back to the topic, about Tsurugi that is,

"So what happened with Tsurugi?" Aoi inquired,

"He asked for my textbook to share. I placed it on the floor as we can't join tables without Otonashi-sensei finding out."

"He asked you really nicely didn't he?" Shinsuke finally spoke,

"Yeah, he asked, 'Can we share?' in the kindest voice I know!" Tenma answered by trying to imitate Tsurugi's voice. Her high pitch voice failed her though.

"Hmm...Tsurugi is starting to become quite popular in my class. Some of the girls in my class are crushing on him already." Aoi started another topic about the navy blue haired boy, suddenly remembering a conversation she had overheard the day before. Shinsuke jumped to gain the attention of the other girls,

"Our class too! You know that maroon haired girl, Aira? She sits beside me. Aira-chan asked me how she should confess to Tsurugi after seeing my confession to Shindou-senpai!"

"Wow...I never knew him changing could cause him so much popularity." Tenma commented,

"You might never know, he might rise up to be popular like Shindou-senpai in the future." Aoi guessed. The bell rang which is the signal for the end of their break. "Ah! Time to go. See you guys later!"

"Bye Aoi!" The two best friends waved at the blue haired girl as she ran back to her classroom, just like the other students running around the hallway, getting back to class.

"Ah~! No homework today!" Tenma stretched her arms high into the air, her back ache from sitting too long and having to listen to the teachers boring talk. Tenma was really happy for having no homework for the day. Our brown haired girl was walking back home alone as Aoi and Shinsuke said that they wanted to take the no homework day as a free time to look for a club to join. Tenma, on the other hand, decided to just go back to Aki's manor and sleep till dinner time as it was not very often that junior high students get to have no homework for a day. Out of the blue, a flashback of Tsurugi asking for her textbook this morning flashed into her mind. She felt her cheeks heating up for no reason. Having this renewed Tsurugi seemed to be a good thing. Tenma was beginning to like this new Tsurugi.

Then a question came to mind. What made him changed? If this was a question in an exam, many people would have no idea of the answer and all might get this question wrong, except for Tsurugi that is. There were many possibilities for the sudden change, but there was one that seemed very likely and could account for the change in the two months break before their year started. His parents found out about his bullying and scolded him. Tsurugi realised his mistakes and decides to be nicer to others. However, most of the time, the boy would ignore scoldings and continue bullying others. Seriously, what made Tsurugi change so much? Tenma's head started to hurt from thinking so much. She closed her eyes and massaged her forehead. Once she reopen them, he spotted Tsurugi walking towards a hospital. Curious, she followed him.

Could it be that he has a family member in the hospital who had a serious illness? Maybe that was why Tsurugi decided to change, but that had to be someone really close to him. His mother perhaps? Hoping Tsurugi won't notice her, Tenma darted and hid behind many walls or plants that could hide her. Finally, seeing him entering a room. She hid behind a wall and listened in on their conversation.

"Nee-san." Tsurugi said in a really sweet and kind voice. Tenma's eyes flew open, she never knew that he had an older sister! Judging from the tone of voice, this elder sister must hold great importance to Tsurugi.

"Kyousuke!" Tenma heard a woman's voice. She had such a sweet and calming voice, totally opposite of Tsurugi. "You came!" Tenma imagine Tsurugi smiling. She heard a chair being dragged and someone, most probably Tsurugi, sitting down. They continued their conversation, "So how is school?"

"It's fine as always."

"Excuse me." Someone asked Tenma from behind which shocked her and made her jumped, "May I know why you are standing here?" A purple haired woman with bright sea coloured eyes, wearing the Raimon general hospital nurse uniform stood there holding onto a clipboard against her chest. She had one sweet and cute voice when she demanded to know what Tenma was doing. Tenma knew she could not reply. Tsurugi may recognize her voice. She could imagine Tsurugi and his sister looking at the door, wondering what had happen, and then Tsurugi would walk towards it to check. Any second now, he would be at the door, getting mad at Tenma for following him. Tenma had to run. Now! Before the purple haired nurse could speak, Tenma dash off with a cloud of dust leading her trail.

DR1 character rankings

I got bored and kept seeing @halfpastmonsoon do these and decided fuck it I’ll do it myself. It’s my blog right like?

Anyway uh in case someone gets super irate about it these are just my opinions and you’re allowed to like characters I don’t like for whatever reasons you want? You’re also allowed to hate characters I like! But isn’t an invitation for you to fight me just because I have different opinions, yeah? Okay! Under the cut!

1. Kirigi//ri Kyou//ko: she’s my god damn wife what do you want from me. I’m really gay did you see her in DR3--OKAY NO FOR REAL. Kiri is so good holy shit she’s like morally complex because she’ll do anything for the truth, even throw you under the bus just to make sure she can still live to find it. She’ll get mad at you for keeping secrets and yet she’ll keep like 8000 from you and except you to roll with it. My point is Kiri has flaws, but more importantly, she has like an arc where she learns from them? Like with the secrets she realizes she was being unfair, and when she throws you under the bus it’s when it clicks just how she was gonna KILL Naegi just tomake sure she could keep operating as herself. She realizes her mistakes, and she comes clean on all her secrets and apologizes. She’s got a lot going on. And I love her so so so much.

2. Oo//gami Saku//ra: too good for this fucking sinful earth. okay. No, but seriously I think she’s amazing simply because of her arc. She betrays them all in a moment of weakness, because she fears for her dojo, and over the course of getting attached to them realizes she can’t throw them all under the bus like that either. So she resolves herself and finds the strength to fight Monokuma, and suffer alone as consequence to her actions. But even that’s not enough. It’s not enough to just accept you’ve sinned and take your punishment, you have to do something, and she does. Through her own strength and love for the classmates around her she kills herself just to end their fighting. It stopped being about her, and just...grijgoirjgoirjgowe okay I love her. 

3. As//ahi//na A//oi: throwback to when the consequences of trying to get everyone killed mattered even a little! I love her a whole lot! She’s super bubbly and excitable and tries quite a bit, but the thing I like the most is how she’s is pretty much exclusively run by her emotions. ch4 plays out the way it does because she gets so caught up in her guilt instead of thinking it through more she decides they all must die for their sins. It’s only when she’s forced to think about the ‘suicide note’ that she recieves she realizes she fucked it up, and then apologizes. Her apology is glossed over a little too fast if we’re being honest, but it’s there, and we see everyone reason their way into forgiving her. Listen I just like ch4 a lot and she’s a big reason as to why.  

4. Eno//shima Jun//ko: throwback to when DR villains were actually good and compelling. Girl makes a fucking entrance and she stands out because she literally can’t decide what she wants to be out of boredom. It becomes so clear just in how she treats herself that the only thing in this WORLD that matters to her is her own entertainment and that to her, entertainment means despair. Boredom is the one true despair, and it can only be satiated by seeing other people suffer at their worst. She embodies despair because suffering is the only thing that can satisfy her own personal despair. She wants everyone to suffer like she does, so she can get off on it. It’s paradoxical and mad, but it’s genuine. Even when she loses, she wins, because now she suffers from the despair of failing. She suffers because things don’t go her way, but things not going her way alleviates her boredom. She goes beyond human comprehension and yet her actions have very real and permanent consequences. And she’s a joy to watch. DR3 never happened to ruin her. Nope.  

5. Fu//kawa To//uko: Man I love Fuka//wa I really do she’s a lot of fun, and it’s just a shame her potential isn’t capitalized until DRAE, but I did enjoy seeing her. The serial killer twist is fun too! I’ll admit I largely like her because of what DRAE does for her, but I think her persecution complex is interesting to see in motion, and that for someone you’d expect to be smart given her talent she’s just kinda a fool. She doesn't actually know what she’s doing at all. I’m mad she doesn’t get her moment in ch6 and it goes to Syo instead I think it’s crap how DR1 ignores her as a character, but given how well she’s used later I think DR1 is basically just her backstory in a lot of regards so ye. 

5.5 Genoc//ider S//yo: lmao she gets ranked less than Fuk//awa only because I like F//ukawa slightly more but they’re pretty much tied otherwise. She’s funny. I’m a little annoyed that she’s the one with the big climactic dialogue in ch6 versus actual Fukawa but whatever man.

6. Fuj//isaki Chihi//ro: y’know I had like several paragraphs here as to why I ranked Fujisa//ki here and then I realized the discourse I’d reopen on the subject is not worth it because Fujis//aki Discourse is eternal and no matter what pronoun I use someone would fight me SO. We’re just not gonna explain why. You’re just gonna have to accept it. I’m not doing Fu//jisaki discourse. If you message me on the subject, I will ignore you. The end. 

7. Na//egi Mako//to: Egg is a super static character if we’re being honest. He makes no change and doesn’t develop, but I think it was actually the point. I pretty much exclusively prefer a character who develops, but egg does his job well because he was meant to be SYMBOLIC of hope. Hope is not something that changes, it simply IS, so having him start optimistic and trusting, and remain optimistic and trusting works because he embodies the concept he represents. It’s kinda boring that it feels like he’s a vehicle to view the plot, but he works, and he’s a little funny at times. Also, I’m gay for Ogata Megumi so there’s that.

8. Ishi//maru Kiyota//ka: Honestly I think Ishi is kinda boring, but I just really like that he got suuuuper invested in Oo//wada only to crash like. I think Kodaka doing that and realizing how bad people took Ishimaru’s later death made him start having actual development arcs based on someone else’s sacrifice which is good. So at the end of the day, I like Ish//imaru if only because of what he inspired. But he’s kind of a cute character, and his “not actually gay we promise” dynamic with Oow//ada was fun. 

9. Hag//akure Yas//uhiro: For comic relief he’s actually kinda funny although I will never never never forgive the man for “Kiri//giri-chi is a ghooooost!!!!” shit in ch5 listen no fuck off fuck you she’s not a ghost. But he’s useless, but it’s kinda funny how useless he is, and I like how his useless stupidity actually plays a role because he makes things even more complicated than they need to be in ch4 because he’s dumb. So there you go. 

10. Ik//usaba Muk//uro: She like has no real character as a result of like not actually existing as herself in the 2 minutes of time she gets before she dies so I don’t know how people stan her, but I think there’s something interesting about her pretending to be someone she’s not the whole time. You see more of that in school mode, but I wish there was more of it in the main story to hint at the reveal than her DEATH. I feel like she’s a lot more interesting in theory than in practice. 

11. Oo//wada Mon//do: I just don’t care about the man what do you want from me. He’s kinda funny though, and “his totally not gay we promise” bromance with Ishi//maru is nice. Also ch2 hurts sufficiently and provides interesting commentary on toxic masculinity. But honestly, I just didn’t really get all too invested in the guy. His design’s cool though.

12. Ma//izono Saya//ka: she’s just really boring guys she’s like not interesting at all, and I don’t appreciate the game forcing her on me just for a plot twist of ‘oooo she dies and was gonna frame you for murder!!!’ There’s like nothing To her, and she’s intentionally played like wife bait so the reveal hurts more but it doesn’t really work when you’re not taking the bait, huh? All that being said I actually kinda like that at the end of the day she ISN’T wife bait and she’s kinda conniving and manipulative, but Kodaka decided we have to preserve her as “ultimately good” with that “dying message means she really does care” thing he hammers in so she’s a little wasted. I’d like her more otherwise. 

13. Yama//da Hi//fumi: He’s creeeeeepppyyyyyy. I’ll give him credit for one thing though and that’s like his creepiness is like reserved towards an AI? Like he’s not like a certain sdr2 character who I won’t mention by name, but like it’s still. It’s not good. Also for comic relief, he’s not very funny. But I also just kinda feel bad for him because his existence is treated as a joke by everyone, even the writers, and that probably explains why he’s written like that, to begin with. 

14. Ce//lestia Ludenb//erg: She’s a bitch? She’s not even a fun bitch she’s just a bitch. I just don’t like her better than thou attitude before her reveal, and her motivations after her reveal in ch3 did nothing to endear me to her. I think the writing behind her though works, which is good. The plot twist is satisfying for that reason. She’s like Ouma jr in regards to the DR Liar archetype, which is great tbh, and she has payoff, I just don’t like her as a person so she’s super far down my list lmao.

15. Toga//mi Byak//uya: listen he’s a douchebag and gets no real character development at all. like in ch4 he decides he’s gonna stop playing the killing game how Monokuma wants, but he still is the same fucking condescending better than thou asshole he started as. His major character flaw ACCORDING TO THE NARRATIVE is that he’s a self-absorbed piece of shit who thinks he's right about everything all the time, and yet even when he gets WRECKED in ch4, he like...stays the same. Instead of thinking “maybe I’m wrong sometimes” the conclusion he reaches is “I’ll stop doing what Monokuma wants” which alright fine but like that’s not the arc we set up for you. So basically Togami from start to finish is just a douchebag with no actual redeeming qualities. I will say one thing. I like him MUCH better outside of DR1, where he seems to have actually developed a little, and he’s kinda funny. Also his backstory is fucked I’ll admit that. But dude I don’t like the man. 

16. Kuwa//ta L//eon: If you’re wondering why Leo//n’s down here at the bottom even if I just professed to hating Toga//mi with my entire being it’s because I very aggressively don’t care about him. He is a non-entity to me. You could erase him from my memory and nothing would change at all. Also he’s ugly.

P5 Suou AU Masterpost

so like since Persona 5 came out i (with the help of dani @najmaviper​) have been working on what we call the P5 Suou AU, which is an AU in which the protag of Persona 5 is the son of Jun and Tatsuya from Persona 2 (which yes is also inspired by the p5 flowerchild au, though this is also like totally different?)

ANYWAY this is a big huge post mostly for myself to get down all the big and small details of the AU i can think of! Also I kind of say Fuck You to some canon things in both p5 and p2 but hey my AU my rules

will be updated sporadically with things i forgot, new things me and/or dani come up with, etc etc~

So, to start, Joker’s name is Akinari Suou, obviously named after Jun’s father

the families in the AU are:

The Suous, Tatsuya, Jun, and their son Akinari (16)

The Mishinas, Eikichi, Miyabi, their eldest daughter Makina (17-18), and their triplets Maiko, Michiru, and Mayumi (10)

The Amano-Suous, Maya and Katsuya, who later take in Shiho

The Kashiharas, Akinari Sr. and Junko, who are of course the grandparents of Joker (though Junko absolutely refuses to be referred to as his grandmother; instead he calls her “maman,” which is French for “mother” (as another sidenote, both Jun and Akinari Jr speak fluent French))

This takes place in EP-verse, though both Tatsuya and Jun retain their memories of the Other Side

Prior to the events of P5, Akinari attended Sevens (which makes the p2 dlc costume for him CANON in my au HAH)

Jun knew Sojiro through Wakaba; Wakaba, before she started her cognitive psience research, lived in Sumaru and attended Sevens and her homeroom teacher her third year was Akinari Kashihara. She became acquainted with his family, Junko absolutely adoring her, and when she became pregnant with Futaba near the end of her third year in high school, Junko helped her through the pregnancy and gave her some of Jun and Aki’s old baby stuff for Futaba. Tatsuya and Jun had already adopted Aki by this point so yes Aki and Futaba played together when they were babies. Wakaba eventually moves to Tokyo, brings Sojiro back to Sumaru to introduce him to the Kashiharas, and then eventually cuts off contact when she suspects her life in in danger due to her research and doesn’t want to endanger the Kashiharas.

(the relationship i made up between wakaba and junko is SO IMPORTANT to me oh my god)

Jun works as a teacher at Kasugayama, which in the time between the end of p2 and beginning of p5 started accepting female students. Makina, Eikichi and Miyabi’s oldest daughter, is student council president there.

Shiho, after the Kamoshida incident, transfers to Kasugayama, and she’s placed in Jun’s homeroom class

she gets put in a Delinquent School bc her parents are horrible and blame her and are upset she didn’t just “put up with” Kamoshida’s abuse to continue volleyball

Ann, finding out about this, decides Time For A Vacation and so the Thieves all go to Sumaru City. This is shortly after they agree to join forces with Akechi for Sae’s Palace, so he comes too.

In Sumaru City, the Phantom Thieves all lay pretty low at Akinari’s.  Especially since Akinari is supposed to be on parole in Yongen.  Not surprisingly, the Suous come to really like Akinari’s new squad.

Major events kickstart presumably after a change of heart is triggered in Shiho’s parents, who’ve been overbearing about her continuing volleyball without regard to her own feelings since she left rehab.

Mixed with the poor judgement of using his parents’ home as the Thieves’ hideout and discussing their recent (and only) Mementos infiltration in Sumaru City, the Thieves eventually blow their cover to Tatsuya when he returns home one night.  Jun only remains in the dark due to working late at the high school.  Given the weight of the news, Tatsuya opts from informing Jun so suddenly

News and gossip spread over how the Phantom Thieves’ most recent calling card had a slip-up (a la Ryuji), revealing the codename of one of their own: Joker’s, to be exact.

Such news reaches Kasugayama, and it doesn’t bode well with Jun. 

Jun’s mental state is a large contributor to the main plot of the AU.  While he’s happy with his life with Tatsuya and their son, a large part of him remains burdened by his memories of IS events.  Not to mention the fact he wasn’t able to do anything to keep Akinari from being falsely charged and placed on parole in a completely different town and school

While in canon Tatsuya’s guilt over refusing to his memories of IS endangered EP, it’s arguable Jun’s memories and guilt hold a similar place in the AU, on a smaller scale.

Regardless, his memories as IS Joker and Nyarlathotep’s pawn clash with news of a “new Joker” emerging, following extremely similar functions of fulfilling people’s requests and affecting the hearts of others.  Along with belonging to a group of people, reminding him of Last Battalion.

Although Jun doesn’t know Akinari is Joker at this point, he’s a smart individual, and he’s capable of putting two and two together given Akinari’s sudden return and the Phantom Thieves increased presence in Sumaru City. A further private discussion with Tatsuya confirms his concerns, but Jun avoids confronting Akinari directly.

Between the revelation and concern, students and the Thieves notice Jun’s increased stress.  Furthermore, a “dream” of an area unlike the Velvet Room leaves Akinari with news of a new Palace lingering in Sumaru City, to which Morgana confirms a strange feeling emanating in the city.

At first, the Thieves enter the Palace on accident, randomly discussing Akinari’s family (presumably Akechi activated his Meta-Nav in secret for further investigation), however none are entirely certain who the Palace belongs to.

No longer hiding his identity from Tatsuya, Akinari brings up the issue to him.  Being someone who knows Jun very well, Tatsuya can figure who the apparent Palace belongs to.  He quickly ascertains the Meta-Nav reacts to the name Jun Kurosu - location: Sumaru City, keyword: maze

Jun’s shadow manifests due to Jun’s hidden feelings of guilt - both for what he did on the Other Side as Joker, as well as his perceived selfishness of keeping Tatsuya and Akinari to himself. Deep down, Jun believes that Tatsuya and Akinari are too good for him; in his mind, he does not deserve them after everything he’s done, regardless of if it was in another universe, and he believes he’s somehow tricked them into thinking he’s good enough for them, that he’s as good as they are. But, because of how happy they make him, he also can’t bear to let them go. Because of this, Jun’s Shadow welcomes the idea of death - while Jun himself is not suicidal, somewhere in the back of his mind he believes that his death would free Akinari and Tatsuya of his “deception.” As such, Jun’s Shadow wouldn’t put up much of a fight.

The basics are he is a pain in the ass and also Final Boss via taking control of Jun’s shadow and doing that fucking Angel/Devil Joker BULLSHIT 

both Angel and Devil Joker are fought; Angel Joker is “phase 1” and wears the Thieves out to the point that they have to retreat to a safe room before attempting to take on Devil Joker

idk where else to fit this in but Ulala dates Ryuji’s mom (who I have named Yui). Ryuji loves hims mom’s gf and thinks she’s the coolest

So uh, thought I'd make a overall aesthetic here for Ninja's Unite at the least....since despite sometimes giving me writers block, it pretty much still remains on my mind and so far has 23 chapters overall with all the characters here in the aesthetic introduced but another character has yet to be introduced due to his FC issues and naming issues and planning issues when he gets introduced in volume 1.

So anyway....Ninja's Unite if no one knows....which is really my fault for not talking much about my fanfiction outside of Thunderbirds next generation....

Anyway....its a sort of next generation....and by that I mean, the characters/OCs aren't related to canon, they still the next generation, just not in a related way- but the next gen kinda starts with the main 6 (the team) who are students being trained by Leonardo in order to defend New York from Kraang...and itself. The team are later joined by Luke's twin sister, Leia, who was adopted when Luke was younger and only just was found due to Mack joining Casey's hockey club...that Leia was apart off- who is currently being trained by Casey Jones and later works with Eman Abbas, her best friend who discovers her secret soon enough after a failed school trip. All the while, they discover the pieces of why the turtles broke apart after Splinters death....

And as before with the aesthetics of the characters (found here)- Neo's FC is still being found due to her being a trans girl and therefore, trying to find a FC around her age of 12-13 that is a trans girl like her and as a result, two FCs currently....but again, if anyone can help here, it would be fantastic- and for Eman's FC, her FC is still being fully found as she is Islamic but is also 13 and its hard to find FCs around that age while being Islamic....that isn't on a sexualising list that Google suggests it- and again, help would be fantastic here!

As for the Leo picture....this is cause I cant be bothered to draw Ninjas Unite!Leonardo...I can barley draw humans, let alone turtles!- so its either 2007 or 2014-2016 pictures of Leo being used for now for Ninjas Unite him.

*Aki Tomani (FC: Mana Ashida)- the leader of the new team who is the eldest of the team at 14 currently and has been living in New York since her grandma moving the pair from Japan to New York when she was 2- often the one who enjoys reading books fully and painting now and then when she has free time from training- user of two Katana's that is often teased by Vitani for being 'Leo. Jr'.

*Vitani Andrews (FC: Alexys Nycole Sanchez)- the member of the new team who at 13, has been born in New York and moved throughout the care system up till the start of the story- the likely to lose her temper a lot, but often calms down with ease and enjoys reading Goosebumps and plays the old arcade game a lot- user of two Sai's who half the time gets protective of Mack and flustered around Leia.

*Luke Miles (FC: David Mazouz)- the movie nerd of the new team who enjoys Star Wars and at the age of 13 currently, is only just starting to get into photography but currently struggles to return to Jewish Traditions due to care homes holding him back from them up till meeting Leia again- user of the weapon Flail Morning Star, but often has to rely on basic combat when it comes to fighting non-robot bad guys.

*Neo/Nina Parker (FC: Dakota Goyo/Mackenzie Foy)- the inventor of the new team who enjoys working on her inventions a lot and reading both DC and Marvel comics in her free time, at age 12 currently but struggles to come out as a trans girl due to fathers abuse prior to being taken into care- user of a sword but prefers to use technology in battle and often or not prefers to not physically fight but so far, has to drag Luke from his ass being kicked....

*Mackenzie 'Mack' Kilman (FC: Quvenzhané Wallis )- the member of the team who is often or not very childish and often enjoys mythology and skateboarding in her free time, being 11 though she is often considered the baby of the team much to her frustration, mostly when Vitani gets protective- user of the Bo-Staff due to not being allowed to use sharper weapons yet due to being the youngest team member and often or not skateboards into battle...somehow.

*Artemis McCoy (FC: Brighton Sharbino)- the student who unlike the other 5, didn't come from a care home and came from...Kraang. Among the child soilders taken as babies by Kraang, Artemis, named Agent 1050 then, quickly turned to the team and so far is struggling to adapt into being a non-kraang 13 year old agent but enjoys music so far- user of bow and arrows who is very much a attacker and doesn't always think her actions through.

*Leia Miles (FC: Clare Foley)- the twin sister of Luke who only became a vigilante at first due to Eman being in danger around the time Leia reunited with Luke but afterwards became a student to hockey club-coach Casey Jones in being a vigilante- enjoys star wars like her brother but mostly enjoys sports but mainly hockey which she has to sneak out to play due to strict adoptive mother- 13 like her twin brother, user of a hockey stick, bat and hockey pucks who often or not lashes out when someone she cares about is in danger and struggles to help brother with jewish traditions a lot of the time.

*Eman Abbas (FC: Tarlan Parvaneh)- the best friend of Leia Miles who comes across Leia's secret first during their school trip to O'Neil industries and later the teams secret when Leia asks her for help to save the team from Kraang- a expert in technology and currently in her older brothers custody due to her mother being deported when Eman was younger and their father remaining when they fled to New York when Eman was younger, and as a result, struggles with her brother to deal with what happened and what can happen still- user of technology and often or not, considered the second smartest person on the team at age 13, with Nina being the first still which leads the pair to compete a lot.

My Wrestle Kingdom 13 Mental Preparations

This Friday, I'm going to try to stay up and watch Wrestle Kingdom…this will be like the 3rd time I attempt to do this. Ever year around this time, I tell myself, "I'm finally going to start to get into watching New Japan regularly, starting with Wrestle Kingdom!" but it always falls through.

It's mainly the time difference that kills it for me. Even back when I didn't have a job and would regularly stay up until 6 AM, I couldn't sit still enough to watch the entirety of the show. I remember the first time I did this, I was doing laundry while watching some people dressed up like Doraemon dancing on stage or something. That's the only thing I remember about that show. 

Last year, I tried to stay up to watch it, but I had to go to work the next day, so I eventually went to bed. I remember waking up at 5 AM, getting ready for work and thinking, "I wonder who won between Jericho and Omega," and then finding out the show was still going on as I drove to work. I ended up downloading the show and watching Omega vs Jericho while waiting at the DMV to renew my license… 

Anyway, this year, I'm going to actually do it! I'm going to stay up and pay attention to the show! I have my New Japan World subscription ready. The show starts on a Friday, so I don't have to worry about getting up early for work the next day. I even plan on taking a nap Friday evening in an attempt to combat any sleepiness I might encounter staying up to some crazy hour!

Now, I will admit, I really don't follow New Japan that closely at all. I'm familiar with some of the names…Omega, Okada, Naito, Kota Ibushi, Tama Tonga… but I've never really watched their matches in full. I don't know much about any of the storylines going in. But, I think that it's important to broaden my knowledge and expand my horizons into the Japanese pro wrestling world, especially in my quest to compare wrestling and anime. I mean, Japanese wrestling is as close to live action anime as it gets, right?! 

So…I'm just going to ramble about the NJPW stuff I'm KIND OF familiar with in an attempt to prep myself for watching Wrestle Kingdom 13. So let's get started.

PRE-SHOW NO.1 CONTENDER GAUNTLET MATCH FOR NEVER OPENWEIGHT 6-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Togi Makabe, Toru Yano & Ryusuke Taguchi vs Yuji Nagat, Jeff Cobb & David Finlay vs Hirooki Goto, Beretta & Chuckie T vs Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs  Hangman Page, Yujiro Takahashi & Marty Scurll

When I first looked at a match-up graphic of this match, I had no idea why there were so many people in a tag team match. I was confused about who was teaming with who, but I think I've figured it out.

I recognize a few names on this list, and I'm just going to detail what little I know about these wrestlers.

I've heard the name "Taguchi" said in a sexy Irish accent before…So this is the Ryusuke Taguchi that used to be buddies with Finn Balor/Prince Devitt. I don't know much more than that.

David Finlay sounds like he'd be the son of Fit Finlay…which apparently is the case! I don't know much about any of the Finlays except Fit was in one of the N64 AKI wrestling games.

Jeff Cobb, aka, the monster Mantza Cueto! I've seen him wrestle live as Matanza at the Impact/Lucha Underground show on Wrestlemania weekend last year. He's pretty freakin' good.

Chuckie T, I can only assume is that Chuck Taylor dude who was always the star of those Chikara videos I used to watch all the time, with him squealing like a little girl and yelling at children.

Marty Scurll is that "Villain" dude with the umbrella. He was a very popular wrestling cosplay at A-Kon last year. Lots of dudes with masks and umbrellas.

Hangman Page apparently killed Joey Ryan with a telephone and was haunted by cowboy boots. His original Bullet Club shirt was also a major inspiration for my Doki Doki Wrestling Club shirts, specifically Sayori's for obvious reasons…

Minoru Suzuki. I always hear how freakin' badass this dude is. Looking forward to see him wreck people.

I've heard some other names before, like Toru Yano, Yuji Nagata, and Davey Boy Smith…but I honestly don't know much about them. Hopefully that'll change soon! 

As for the "NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship" …well, I recently learned that the NEVER Openweight Championship is a title that isn't restricted by weight class. When I first looked at this card, I was very confused as how a 3-man team could compete to be a contender for a single title…but Wikipedia just now tells me that there is indeed a separate NEVER Tag Team Championship. That makes sense!

I still don't know what "NEVER" means. Apparently it's "New Blood," "Evolution," "Valiantly," "Eternal," and "Radical." Yeah, a bunch of random English words put together to form a nonsense acronym. Sounds pretty Japanese for sure. Reminds me of the notorious B.L.O.O.D.M.O.S.E.S. organization…

Kota Ibushi vs Will Ospreay

I really hope this match isn't an hour long, but…

So, of course I'm familiar with Kota Ibushi! He's Kenny's Golden Lover and he's done a bunch of crazy cool DDT matches. I think he was also in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. And he starred in a kaiju movie that I really want to watch.

I only know Will Ospreay from that anime-as-hell match he had with Ricochet a few years ago that Vader got really mad about (R.I.P.).

Anyway, they both seem like amazing wrestlers, so sounds like it'll be a sick match…even if it somehow does last an hour.

2ND MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP Jr. TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado vs Roppongi 3K vs BUSHI & Shingo Takagi 

Why can't these tag matches just have 2 teams!!!

I honestly don't know much about any of these people. I've heard the name "Roppongi 3K" before, and it's a cool sounding name, so that's cool. I also probably get "BUSHI" and Kota Ibushi confused sometimes.

Oh, and I guess I need to finally look up what "IWGP" stands for. Okay, so apparently it stands for "International Wrestling Grand Prix" which is the governing body of NJPW…what. I don't know what that means. I have never heard a human utter the words "International Wrestling Grand Prix" before…huh, weird. I'd rather they just call it the NJPW championship, but I guess there's a legacy there that they want to preserve, so that's fair. Also, weird title names seem to go hand-in-hand with Japanese wrestling anyway. 

3RD MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT BRITISH HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Tomoiro Ishii vs Zack Sabre Jr.

I did not know that New Japan had a British Heavyweight Championship.

Like many Japanese wrestlers, I've heard the name Tomohiro Ishii mentioned in podcasts a lot, but I can't envision a specific person or match in my head. Sorry. :(

I don't know if I've seen Zack Sabre Jr. wrestle, either. I know he was in the WWE Cruiswerweight Classic, but that's it.

They're probably both really good, though, and very deserving of whatever this Japanese British championship is.

4TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Tanga Loa & Tama Tonga vs Sanada & EVIL vs The Young Bucks 

Seriously, do they just not have 2v2 tag matches in Japan?

I'm very familiar with Tama Tonga. He's that Bullet Club dude that used to have face paint that reminded me of the box art to Knights of the Old Republic 2. Much like I haven't played any KOTOR game, I don't think I've ever watched Tama Tonga actually wrestle. I know that he's done some goofy stuff on Twitter recently. Also, he's got a cool name that's fun to say: "Tama Tonga."

Speaking of cool names, who doesn't like the name "EVIL"? That name..it's just…so freaking good. I keep hoping there's an association with that one Sponge Bob episode, but probably not.

Also, the Young Bucks…yeah they're very popular, but, again, I don't think I've ever seen them wrestle. I just know that they superkick people a lot, they have streamers on their pants, and they're very good at selling merch. 

5TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP US HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Cody vs Juice Robinson

Obviously, I know who Cody is. He was that dude who used to be Stardust! …man, Stardust was cool. Stardust is literally THE reason I started watching wrestling again. It was a bummer to hear that Cody didn't like doing the character. He was so good at it, though.

I recently learned that Juice Robinson used to be CJ Parker in NXT. That was pretty mindblowing, because CJ Parker was one of the standout characters for me back when I first watched NXT. Apparently he's a good wrestler, too, so cool. 

Also, I'm almost tempted to ask why there's an IWGP US Championship…but I guess "I" in IWGP stands for "International." …but why isn't the British title the IWGP British Championship??? Looking that up now…oh, so the British Championship is actually the RPW British Heavyweight Championship owned by Revolution Pro Wrestling. Huh.

6TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP Jr. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

KUSHIDA vs Taiji Ishimori

I remember a long time ago, I watched some clips from an older (then recent) Wrestle Kingdom that featured a team called the Time Splitters, which I thought was cool because I like the video game TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. But also, I guess this was a time traveler wrestling gimmick, and that's cool, and I liked hearing the ring announcer go "TIIIIIIIME SPLTITERRRRRRRSSSSS." But that's not even it! They had a freakin' Back to the Future Delorean entrance. And then there was one that had a dude dressed as Doc Brown…and apparently that guy was Taguchi. Huh, weird.

So, I guess KUSHIDA was one of the Time Splitters, so that's cool. I don't if he's still a time traveler or not. I hope he is. 

As for Taiji Ishimori, he's the new "Bone Soldier," and I don't really know much about that, other than Captain New Japan used to be the Bone Soldier and everyone hated that one for some reason, but they like this new one. And Ishimori might be going to WWE? I don't know! 

Oh, I just realized that all these matches have a 60 minute time limit…

7TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT SPECIAL SINGLE MATCH

Kazuchika Okada vs Jay White

Of course I'm familiar with Okada. He's the Rainmaker! And then he turned into that guy with the balloons…I dunno, but he's in Yakuza 6, so that's cool!

Jay White is apparently the new leader of the Bullet Club. I used to think he was always part of the Bullet Club because I remember seeing Jay White Bullet Club shirts a while back…but apparently he wasn't actually in the Bullet Club until recently? I don't know! I just know that people used to call him "Knife Pervert" and I thought that was funny, so I used it in Doki Doki Wrestling Club.

8TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP NO DQ MATCH

Chris Jericho vs Testuya Naito 

Chris Jericho is a guy who wears a scarf and dresses like a mime or something. I don't know. 

I always thought Naito was cool. I like "Tranquilo" and the eyeball thing he does. There's also that super cute Naito teddy bear plush that I would really like to have one day. I once bought a Naito keychain from an anime con artist alley booth. Yeah, I like Naito, and apparently so does everyone else…except Chris Jericho, I guess.

9TH MATCH 60 MINUTES LIMIT IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Kenny Omega vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

I first heard of Kenny Omega when people were sharing that clip of a grown dude wrestling a 9-year-old Japanese girl. I also learned that he was a huge nerd and spoke fluent Japanese. From my limited perspective, he didn't seem to blow up in popularity until he debuted as "The Cleaner" in the Bullet Club. Now he's like the most popular non-WWE wrestler in the world. I wasn't ever a super huge fan of Kenny, but he DID put Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon on his Top 10 video games list last year, so he's cool in my book. I wish he played fighting games other than Street Fighter, though…

As for Tanahashi, I remember on like my second attempt to stay up and watch Wrestle Kingdom, people kept saying that Tanahashi was the "John Cena of Japan." I'm assuming that's still true to this day. Honesty, that's all I know about Tanahashi, lol.

So, I assume Tanahashi is going to win and Kenny will finally have his rematch against a grown up Haruka!

And that's it!! That's all I know about Wrestle Kingdom 13. Hopefully I'll finally start to get into NJPW following this Wrestle Kingdom, because I honestly think Japanese puroresu knowledge is absolutely necessary in my campaign to prove that wrestling…is anime.
