We as a fandom need to start a movement to reclassify G’raha Tia as a dad friend. I feel like we forget that he’s a dad. Twink Catboy nature is visually misleading, that man raised a whole ass child and he did a good job. The sandwiches is such a dad friend thing to do. I don’t know how to do emotional vulnerability with you but I made you food and I hope that helps. Absenteeism. The possibilities are endless.

Omega growing out of her “sweet happy-go-lucky child” phase and into her “moody emotional teenager” phase would be quite the upheaval in the Bad Batch household, because Hunter is probably devastated and emotional and a little scared about it all because that’s his little girl, but Crosshair just smirks and buys a pack of extra crunchy toothpicks because his time has come.

Making Heads Turn 🫨
Jason had become a father to a little baby boy, taking him in when he found the poor thing on the streets, in a cardboard box, wrapped in a space themed blanket.
While the obstacles a new parent goes through is tough. He knows it's worth it to have Danny, his baby, his son in his life. He doesn't regret adopting him.
Danny is now at the stage of his little life that he babbles and giggles, Jason always had fun having a conversation with his baby. Although Jason's sure that his hair is getting whiter with the chaos Danny brings now ever since Danny's baby brain realized that he can CRAWL to PLACES >:D
However this new development... is a little strange.
Whenever Jason puts Danny down in his crib to make dinner or any other important errand. Danny will begin to babble to the air, as if his little tyke is trying to talk to someone, making grabbing hands and scooching over to grab someone's attention.
It sent a slight shiver down his spine...
Ever since he made his introduction to Gotham as Red Hood, for the first time to those gang leaders with the bang of the AK-47. Taking over the Gotham underworld by storm with anger and precision.
He always felt a chill down his spine... When he was alone, yet... the Pit Madness flared everytime, making him feel enraged and paranoid. As if he was just waiting for a fight... for a confrontation...
Being alone in his apartment, having nightmares, more like repressed memories of what he had done... Lots of things, but for some reason—his mind... keeps going back to the moment he threw that duffel bag at the table infront of the gang leaders that night... the night he went after the lieutenants, taking their heads.
He doesn't know why.
But ever since the precious cargo that was his baby Danny, arrived in his life. That all went away as he took care, fed, and loved his baby boy.
Jason never had an episode with Danny; he couldn't bare the thought of hurting the child.
Jason was even having less episodes when he was with the Bats!
The chills; however, Jason still feels them occasionally... but they would always disappear the moment Danny would demand attention or to nap.
And instead he would feel something else hang over his baby everytime Danny slept peacefully...
———
Second ever DPxDC prompt that I've ALSO been getting brainrot over ❤️ I'm having fun 😄
Basically this prompt idea is Jason adopting a baby Danny, while seemingly unaware that he's being haunted/watched by the people's he's killed to become a crime lord. More specifically, being haunted by the heads/headless ghosts of the lieutenants Jason killed as Red Hood.
While Jason can't seem to see them, he can feel 'chills' from them. Danny, however, CAN see them mostly because I based this on that thing where babies/toddlers can see spirits in those typical YouTube videos that list ToP 5 ScArY gHOstZ VidEOz!1!1
Whatever happened though, this causes the ghosts to instead focus more on Danny than on Jason.
How much will Jason freak the fuck out when he finds out? Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Although Danny is absolutely having fun here ^^
Anyways, I might add extra stuff soon to this!

you know what. i don't understand why people always say eddie doesn't have a solid story or plot in season 6 when he did? it was actually really glorious too? he's in his healing era, and he's coming to terms with learning who he is outside of being a father while also working on his relationship with his own dad, and processing his grief for shannon and realizing he wants to move on from her and fall in love again, and handling his kid getting older and becoming more independent, and he's doing the best he can but he's a silly little guy who's never been this free to go after what he wants so he's stumbling like a newborn lamb but he's getting right back up. i love s6 eddie. i'm kissing him on the forehead.

The Young Justice animated show really made Batman "not the step dad, but the dad that stepped up", especially for Kon.
Like, not only does he go out with Clark to lecture him about being a good father figure to Kon after they found him, but in the comics, in the first issue, Kon spends all day waiting for Clark to check on him, clearly expecting some kind of father-son dynamic, only for Bruce to send child support so he can buy himself clothes and pay Wally's parents for the expenses during his stay with them.
He just met the kid and he has set up a trust fund for him. In this show, he probably has a trust fund for all the team's members. If anyone of them want to go to college, Batman is paying.

If I can find you, so can Lilith. Not to alarm you, but she already knows where you live. I'm sorry I can't do more. - CV
Previous / Next
Helena: Since when do you read the newspaper? I’ve barely seen you crack a book in your entire life.
Julia: I’m catching up on the latest Copperdale Creep atta- [glances up from paper] Holy crap. You look terrible.
Helena: Gee, thanks.
Julia: And you still don’t think you should see a doctor?
Helena: Stop pestering me! Must I remind you who’s the adult here?
Julia: Barely. And being an adult doesn’t mean you can’t be a dumb-ass. You’re more stubborn that Banjo when I try to drag him into the bath!
Helena: I can’t believe you just compared me to a dog.
Julia: Well, if the collar fits…
Helena: [laughing] You’re the worst.
Julia: Anyway, this says a park ranger was ambushed while she was on duty a couple nights ago.
Helena: Oh my God. [hesitantly] Did she survive?
Julia: Just barely. She told the police her attacker was definitely human but, like, freaky fast and strong. Who is this weirdo? It’s like they get off on leaving people almost for dead, or else they’re just a super crappy murderer, in which case they’ll 100% be caught soon.
Helena: [shifting uncomfortably] Yeah, I hope so.
Julia: By the way, you got a package. I found it on the porch this morning. It’s only got your name on it, no return address or postage. Strange, huh? Are you sure you don’t have a stalker? Oh, maybe it’s a bomb! Wait, I picked it up and brought it inside, so it’s probably not a bomb. What if it’s anthrax?
[partially visible glimpse of Helena's handwritten name on the box]
Helena: I think it’s from a… friend.
Julia: What kind of friend dumps a box on your porch without stopping to say hi? Hey, come on! You’re really not going to let me see what’s inside?
Helena: What is this? A fucking care package?
[close-up of a handwritten letter: If I can find you, so can Lilith. Not to alarm you, but she already knows where you live. I'm sorry I can't do more. -CV
Helena: [scoffs incredulously] Coward.

ASOIAF terrible fathers bracket FINAL ROUND: Tywin Lannister vs. Craster
Tumblr media Tumblr media
after six long weeks, it is time to end this. thank you to all who have participated even if you went against my wishes and elected Craster to this final spot instead of Jaehaerys. I love democracy.
Tywin Lannister: Inflicts extreme sexual violence onto all of his children even if it is through proxy, and sacrifices all of them to the feudal system while ensuring they will be unprepared to hold their own in it and dependent on him forever even after he dies. In terms of impact, his terrible fatherhood was so extreme that it needed to be deconstructed in an entire book, like it took 1/5 of the series to fully examine the ways in which Tywin Lannister’s toxic fascist parenting not only irreparably damaged his children, but also locked the entire realm in a perpetual cycle of violence that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. Tywin’s abusive fatherhood, and the failure of his entire legacy of abuse is a core theme of the series, especially the series is themes on gender violence, and familial patriarchal abuse, and its impact cannot be overstated. I have never claimed to be impartial. I think this is the right choice.
Craster: Marries his daughters and sacrifices his sons to the white walkers.
