Enhypen's Thoughts on Being an Idol

Okay, now I like to do this reading for Enhypen, same idea as the Ateez one. I will ask what they and dislike about being an idol, for the dislike I will exclude Saesangs, because of course that is a crappy part. I will ask what they learned from the past and what they think of the fans. Here we go.

What he likes? (Queen of Swords) I am getting his ability to speak and communicate. It is like this is his outlet to express himself. It is like if he wasn't an idol he would be silenced, weird message, but going with it. It is like being an idol has given him more confidence. He is able to learn from others and gather information and hear others out. He is able to gain knowledge through this, interesting, weird, I thought I would get a more creative card here too, but then again, they really don't have much creative freedom, so I get it.

What he dislikes? (4 of Pentacles) Interesting he got this card, because he did get this card a lot for my general readings of him back in August. He doesn't like that he has to preserve or reserve himself. He is kind of constrained. He needs to protect what he has. He can't spend freely, there isn't a lot of wiggle room in his career, lack of freedom. A lot of control when it comes to his career, a bit confining.

What he learned from the past/experienced? (The World) He's like legit just giving me exactly what happened in the past, not really what he learned, like this is about the world tour, he is happy it is completed. I am getting, he learned a lot from it, he was able to put his all in it, his time, his emotions, his passions, and knowledge gained from it, so that is nice.

Thoughts on fans? (6 of Swords) This is interesting, there is troubled waters here. A need to move on from a difficult period. I think he may want fans to move on from all the complaints they have tbh. The 6 of swords is about moving towards positive change, so maybe he sees fans trying to make positive changes for them. But I am getting look onward, there are brighter, calmer days ahead.

What he likes? (Queen of Pentacles) Well, this card likes to pop up. That he can nurture his career and create his own independence through that. And he can make money out of it. There is a sense of pride in what he has created. Pretty straightforward there.

What he dislikes? (Ace of Swords) Honestly, his ideas being shut down, that they never go anywhere, he has a lot to say and has lots of ideas, and he may share it, but it doesn't go anywhere. I love how easy to read this boy is. To the point and clear, which kind of represent the ace of swords, which is funny. Like if you think of the ace, it is like you have an idea, but it never goes any further than that.

What he learned from the past/experienced? (The Empress) Kind of gives me similar vibes to what I got from Yeosang, but it he knows his creative power more. He knows what he can create. He has planted the seeds of creativity, but not sure it has seen the light of the day. This dude is crazy creative, but we will probably not see that, this is what that gives me. There is something about his Mom here too, like things she has helped or qualities she has, that he has, that has helped him in the past to be where he is as an idol today. Idk what that all means.

Thoughts on fans? (3 of Pentacles) Bruh, this is so matter of fact, where are the emotions boys? I think he believes they work well together, they work as a team, which surprises me, because as a fandom we can be messy. They make a good team effort, this could also do with the effort the fans have to give them rest, but there is a bit of a mess there too, so idk. It is like we work together to build something great. It is like he sees all of us as a team.

What he likes? (The High Priestess) I am getting that magic, the mystery behind it, and my next thought is what!? He kind of likes to be mysterious, this is weird dude. Bruh, it is like he likes the behind the scene bs, like I have a secret you don't know, what is this? Okay, it is like he likes the mystery of being an idol, like that they have to put a facade on, bruh, this boy is a strange one, he makes me laugh. He likes that we don't know the real him, legit what I am getting, this boy. He is making me laugh here. Boy is a true Scorpio here. I just keep getting that saying I know something you don't know, in that playful manner. I can't stand him sometimes. I say this in a loving manner.

What he dislikes? (Strength) Again, weird card here for a dislike. Omg, I am getting lowkey toxic messages here, I am just going to say it, I am just a girl with cards, no facts, I hear feminine power and women in power. Because in the card there is a woman, with the word strength, it gives me women with strength and power. I just don't get why I got to get this message wtf dude I am looking at the women in the card and she is strong and powerful, and this is a dislike for him, I also got the divine feminine. Ya'll I hate this, remember just channeling, if you don't like this, don't believe me. That simple. Now if you think back to his ideal type reading, because I am being pulled back to that, you may see where that all stems from. Ugh Jake man, I hope what I am getting is completely wrong, because I don't like this, but at the end of the day I try not to take this seriously, it is Tarot, we don't know these people. And as I mentioned, he may need to do some healing. Also, not sure why this is showing up in his dislikes as an idol? What does that have to do with him being an Idol wtf Also, he may not be consciously aware of this as well, so he may not actively put women down, or feel women are inferior, but this innate need to overpower them. I feel this is an inner struggle with him he fully does not understand. I do feel this also stems from childhood. I feel this is something he needs to work on healing. I want to stress do not hate on this dude! I feel this is much more complex than we would know.

What he has learned from the past/experienced? (Knight of Swords) His ability to speak his mind, he has gained confidence in his voice and what he has to say. Now the Knight can be a bit overly confident, a bit overzealous, so he may want to careful with how he uses his words, because they can speak without much thought and say some wild sh**. I am kind of getting, I know the power of my voice.

Thoughts of fans? (2 of Wands) I was kind of scared of what I was going to get here lol This seems fine. He finds them inspiring, attractive, passionate. They fuel him. Probably build his confidence tbh. Ugh, got another weird message. The person in the card is holding a ball of fire, it is giving me he likes us in his grasp, like he likes having a hold on us. This dude needs healing, anyway, yup, there that is, moving on.

Sunghoon

What he likes? (Queen of Wands) I have to shuffle like 4 times before he pulled a card out for me, which barely happens, so maybe there is like a specific thing, he likes, or he doesn't like much. This one confuses me, this QOW's does not feel like his energy, so is this a specific woman, why would that be what he likes? Is this the fans? I am sorry, but every time I am in his energy I am so confused, what I am getting is weird. I'll just go with it, It is like he can stand in his feminine power, why does he like that though? It is like he can be softer as an idol. I can see this as him being able to shine on his own and wanting to inspire others. I am just going to move on, because this makes no sense to me.

Thoughts on fans? (The Hanged Man) He seems he can't do much for the fans, his hands are tied, once again, does this have to do with what is going on. This is giving me, this is a difficult situation, there isn't much that can be done vibe here. It is like you got to see things in a different light, he may want fans to do that. What he likes? (6 of Cups) It seems he enjoys making memories with the 6 members. Living out his childhood dreams, this may be what he wanted to do as a child. It just seems he is just having fun. This doesn't give me much. This is pretty simple. He seems like a simple person, not in a bad way, he is just not that complicated.

What he dislikes? (3 of Pentacles) This is weird lol He dislikes teamwork, effort, working with others. It is like he enjoys the fun, playful side of it, having a good time, but the not the serious aspect of it. It seems he hates discussing the work aspects of things. you know what I am being drawn to. You know how they do their lives after concerts and Sunoo seems so done, people think he is sad or lonely, I lowkey felt that way sometimes, but he just finds these topics boring af You can say he is tired, but girl, they all are. He just isn't here to discuss topics about work, he wants to have fun. He likes the emotions involved, but not the work itself.

What he learned from the past? (Death) This is kind of dark, not sure I want to go into full details of what I got here, but idols who have passed may have affected him, and I am hearing, I don't want to go that route. Alright, not sitting with that any longer, moving on.

Thoughts on fans? (10 of Cups) Yeah, the first one with cups! He sees Engene as family. You guys fill him with lots of love and support and happiness. It is like ya'll are one big happy family. He's got a lot of love for the fans.

What he likes? (6 of Cups) Another one with the 6 of cups! He likes that he can be youthful and fun. There is something about him that likes to stay young. I have gotten that from him in the past. I am getting, live out my youth, how would being an idol do that though? He also enjoys the memories he can make from being an idol. He is young at heart. I guess being an idol helps with that, okay Jungwon lol

What he dislikes? (8 of Cups) Oh no, having to search for myself came to me, no Jungwon, no! I am going to be real. I don't think he knows who he is outside being an idol. This is something I kind of felt from him in past readings, like does he know himself. 8 of Cups is someone walking away from it all, going on a self-journey, seeking more out of life. But what does this have to do with him being an idol? Oh, the time away, I don't think he likes when they are on hiatus at all. He hates it I hear. He wants to be in front of fans. In the spotlight. Thought on fans? (9 of Cups) Not surprised he got cups, of course he does, boy got a lot of love for the fans. He appreciates them and adores them. He appreciates every single one of them. I love my bias lol I am getting that he dissociates, because in the card, the man's head is on the plate, but his body is sleeping. I don't know what that means though. Omg, had to look up dissociation and how that correlates, he uses fans to disconnect from whatever anxiety or sadness he has, like a coping strategy, they help him cope, oh wow, that makes sense to be honest, boy is always online. And I always felt that way intuitively. Because boy post a crazy a lot of times, like a lot. I know ya'll want to say it is because he loves the fans, but nah, all members love the fans. He does it for his own reasons. We all got our own reasons for doing things. Aww, I mean I get it, the industry is tough. I want to hug him.

Ni-Ki

What he likes? (The Hanged Man) Weird card for a like. It is like he is learning to see things differently; things being flipped for him. It is like he doesn't have to work hard or put effort into it, like things comes easy for him, this is weird, I don't really get this.

What he dislikes? (10 of Swords) The mental exhaustion, the criticism, the pain. The betrayal, being stabbed in the back. Now ask me what this means? He doesn't like the shady sh** that comes with the industry is what I got. The dark cloud over him, also getting that, he may have a lot of dark and negative thoughts that loom over him as an idol. Yeah, that is a bit dark, but the card is intense, so yeah.

What he has learned from the past/experienced? (The High Priestess) Secrets being kept, things hidden. I just keep getting random messages, but no explanation as to what these mean with him. I am getting, keep things secret, keep things to himself. I am being pulled to the book on the card, he may journal about these secrets, or his real truths about things. Like he can't share how he truly feels, so journal about it type of sh**. Journal about it and then let it go. I mean journaling can do that, so makes sense, it is therapeutic.

Thoughts on fans? (8 of Swords) Oh no...Oh god, what is this? This is not a good card to get for how he feels how about fans. I am getting, you are trapped in your mind. Remember just getting random messages, don't take this as fact. He may have to limit himself and not express himself as much with fans, which makes sense. He has to like tip-toe around his thoughts, like be careful about what he says. This all makes sense to me tbh. Fans are super critical of everything this boy says or does.

Stardew Confessions

This started as a musings post and grew into something much bigger. Sometimes I dream of selecting the resident saloon owner as my bachelor of choice. Yes, I'm running off with Gus. Here are my justifications (in no particular order):

Warning: Spoilers for his personality and heart events.

He has a kind word for everyone.

He is warm, friendly, and welcoming.

He has a deep compassion for his friends and neighbors, as evidenced by how he treats Linus (that scene always warms my heart) and how he wants to "help out" Pam even if his business is hurting.

He is sensitive to your allergies. Enough said.

He is rocking the dad-bod.

He is not a heavy drinker (and this is a welcome relief after Shane). He mentions that he likes a good Stardew Valley vintage from time-to-time. (I prefer a good vino over spirits, anyhow.)

He is "proud" of you if you upgrade Pam's house. (And if he doesn't know it's you, he tells you that person deserves the best).

He cooks for weeks for the Egg Day festival. A man who is dedicated to keeping the Valley well fed is a good man in my book.

The man runs one of the most successful businesses in the Valley. He is the only bar and restaurant in town. Financial stability is practical AND sexy, people!

A man who cooks and mixes a mean cocktail is a catch. He would keep you in good food, good drinks, and coffee.

Mmm... and the man has a special omelet. As a girl who loves her eggs, this is a total perk in my book! (And he makes the best crab cakes too!)

The man also makes his own candy canes! Sweet!

Living above a bar and restaurant would have its perks. (I lived above one in my first apartment - the water pressure was incredible for showers and the rooms were surprisingly spacious). And if you're hit with the 2am munchies, you'd have access to the best snacks.

Since he is on the older side, he is established and has a healthy self-esteem.

He wouldn't play games. He is straightforward and honest.

He has good taste in gifts - definitely higher quality (later game) stuff. Escargot, fish tacos, tropical curry all strike me as things a man with a discerning palate would enjoy. Oranges are a healthy addition. One of his favorites at the movie theater is a cappuccino mousse cake (which sounds absolutely mouthwatering and delicious - and I'd totally learn the recipe for him!)

He sends good gifts in the mail after 1+ hearts. And his note reads: "I made you a little treat this morning at the Saloon. Dig in. Your friend, Gus." (I'll admit the first time I received this letter, I swooned a bit. Maybe I want to be more than friends here, Gus.) He's so thoughtful. 3+ hearts - he says he only shares the salmon dinner recipe with his "good friends." ;)

He kindly employs Emily. (I bet he makes a great boss - a nice blend of fair and understanding.) He knows this is only temporary for her until she gets her clothing business up and running, but he is appreciative of the help.

In his 5-heart event, he basically calls you the "special ingredient" in the secret sauce! *wiggles eyebrows* He has come to view you as a good friend.

And the man gives you a mini jukebox for your home!!! Any man who gives you the "gift of music" has to be a sweetheart.

He's also worried about Pam and wants to maintain a friendship with her (and yes, I'll acknowledge the elephant in the room. I know there are problematic implications of giving her alcohol, but he is running a business and she is responsible for her own choices). He wants others to like him and he respects people's autonomy. Maybe he's a bit too nice at times since he does need to make a living, but I think this contributes to his all-around "good guy" vibes.

TL;DR - I'm convinced Gus could keep you in relative comfort and happiness, that he has a "heart of gold," and he would make an excellent marriage candidate.

hi! no rush in answering this and I hope it all works out with your job, sending good vibes. I wanted to ask for some advice as my partner hss AFRID and (probably) anorexia. they've been refered for help for the AFRID stuff specifically and they (for very valid. and obvious reasons) don't feel comfortable opening up to drs about the other loads of eating problems they have. Now they are being monitored and freaked about abt the need to gain weight etc

Im helping them as best I can but it feels very us 2 (and our friends) vs the rest of the world plus that I feel I'm p much winging random stuff that Might help see what sticks. We are trying to find some middle ground were they can make some "progress" so they aren't coerced into something they really don't want to do by drs and so they can have a little more energy etc etc.

We are also both still living at our parents and it's all just not ideal. rn. Any advice at all would help really, is there anything I should do and anything I really shouldn't? just typing it up to someone who won't tell me to force them to get themselves admitted is already a relief tbh thank u for ur work on harm reduction <3

Hey anon! Thanks for reaching out. It can be so hard to find any information about how to support people with eating disorders that isn't just "Go get professional treatment right now," so I will do my best to share some stuff that we've been talking about in my harm reduction + peer support networks!

Correct me if I'm retyping your situation incorrectly, but my understanding of what you shared is that your partner has ARFID and is also having other struggles with eating more related to anorexia in terms of fears about weight gain, body image, etc. Their doctors know about the ARFID and are receiving some sort of treatment for the ARFID, but the treatment is triggering some more of the anorexia stuff because of the increased monitoring.

This sounds like a difficult situation for both your partner and you as a support person, and I can understand how stressful it is to have to worry about coercive treatment on top of trying to figure out ways to cope with disordered eating in the first place. It sounds like you've been doing a really good job supporting your partner and listening to what they need, and trying out lots of different things to see what's helpful for them. I'll share some tips, but as always, what works for one person won't work for another! Asking your partner and collaborating with them to figure out what their exact needs and wants are is always going to be the most important.

@librarycards just made a post about harm reduction in eating disorders that I'm going to link to. I'm not going to restate everything they wrote, but one thing they talk about is identifying what feels like a necessity that can't be changed right now, and what things feel like there could be some wiggle room and space for change right now. If your partner is open to it, it might be helpful to sit down and make a list of what kind of eating disorder behaviors feel absolutely necessary right now that can't be changed, and what things feel more flexible. I think it's really important to be able to do this nonjudgmentally--a lot of eating disorder recovery spaces argue that "recovery" is all or nothing, and that allowing any kind of eating disorder behaviors is a failure. It can be really important to use a harm reduction approach to identify goals that actually feel doable for us, instead of saying the only option is to stop every eating disorder behavior and mindset 100%. That will look different for everyone, but explicitly giving yourself permission to continue some eating disorder behaviors can sometimes help people meet other goals around energy, quality of life, etc that are important to them. I know for me, having both ARFID and anorexia made it incredibly difficult to try to focus on dealing with both at the same time. I completely stopped trying to focus on any ARFID goals in increasing variety or challenging sensory needs, and instead just focused on figuring out coping skills and how to meet the energy needs for my body. Giving myself permission to only eat safe foods, ignore social norms around food, etc, helped me a little bit with figuring out how to cope with some of my restrictive urges. It might be worth figuring out with your partner what goals feel like priorities at the moment, and making a plan together.

Another thing that I found super helpful in my own journey with the ARFID and anorexia combo was learning about fat liberation and discussing it with other people. Basically all mainstream eating disorder treatment doesn't bother to spend anytime talking about fat liberation or fatphobia, and usually actually perpetuates a lot of fatphobia. I think that being able to dismantle the societal ideas we learn about weight gain, fatness, and diet culture is super important for everyone, and I think that for disorderly eaters, it can also be super important to track how that influences our own self-understanding of our eating. This list by Rachel Fox is a great starting point for fat liberation resources. For me, it was super helpful to be able to read through articles and books about fat liberation and discuss them with other people, and build a political understanding of fatness that allowed me to connect what I was reading to my experience with disorderly eating. If this is something that your partner is interested in, having someone to learn + read with can be super impactful.

I think it can also be crucial to think about your own boundaries and needs as a support person. You are not in charge of "fixing" your partner and your partner does not need to be "fixed." You're allowed to not know the answers to things, need to take breaks to support yourself, and to also be going through difficult times. Both you and your partner's autonomy is important, and figuring out ways to support without feeling responsible or trying to control each other can be really crucial. I can tell how much you care about your partner and it sounds like you're doing a really incredible job with all the ways you're providing care. If either of you ever feels like you need a space in your life to talk about this, ANAD offers peer support groups both for people living with eating disorders and for family/friends of people living with eating disorders.

Other than that, there's not a ton I can think of for things you should or shouldn't do, since it seems like you have pretty good insight into major things to avoid (forcing people into hospitalization, making fatphobic comments, reinforcing diet culture, forcing recovery) and are doing a lot of things right (asking your partner what they need, trying things out and being flexible, making room for harm reduction style goals instead of only "recovery.") Keep asking your partner how to support them, collaborate with them on the best ways to provide them care, and continue being there for them through this hard time.

the babysitting liam fic is slightly misleading considering he's like, twelve in this fic (it's post-canon) and doesn't actually need a babysitter, but the vibe still stands

it's set in a post-canon world where liam lives with lip, tami, and fred (in a very cramped in-law apartment attached to tami's parents house) and there's not a lot of room, or privacy, and fred's teething so nobody is sleeping, and Big Brother Ian swoops in and tells liam he can spend the weekend at his and mickey's apartment if he needs a break from lip-tami bickering and the baby crying all the time

(it's not that liam doesn't like living there, he just needs a break)

so essentially it's like a 3-4 chapter fic of liam spending the weekend with ian and mickey and doing fun things together and generally having quality brother (and brother-in-law) bonding time

and mickey pretends to hate the idea of liam invading their space for a whole weekend, but he's a softie, and next to ian, liam is his favorite gallagher sibling, so of course he caves and ends up having a good time in the end

this one is set in an world (s1 timeline) where people can have magical powers, but they're rare, so when ian first discovers that he's one of those few people who has magical abilities, he mostly keeps it to himself. lip's known since they were pretty young, helping ian to develop it and train it, and ian tells fiona eventually, but she claims she already knew

none of the other gallagher siblings have powers, and this has always confused ian until he realized his biological father isn't frank, but a guy who lives in a cushy northside house with a successful career and life--no doubt products of some kind of power--and then it clicks

anyway, life largely remains the same as canon for ian and co. because he's only 15 and he still has a long way to go with mastering his abilities and everything, and then: he meets mickey

and ian's powers? well, they're somewhere along the lines of mind control.

and yeah maybe he was going to use magic to get mickey to give back the gun that he stole, and maybe he has a crisis about whether or not he accidentally did use it to make mickey fuck him instead of beat the shit out of him (he didn't), but it all works out in the end because mickey gave the gun back anyways

and mickey keeps ian grounded, because yeah he shows up to the store for a booty call when ian asks, but he always tells ian not to kiss him, and though the rejection stings a little, it reassures ian that mickey is of his own mind when they're hooking up and he's not somehow accidentally under ian's control--because how else is he supposed to explain mickey fucking milkovich suddenly jumping his bones every five seconds when a week ago he wanted to kill him

anyway.

long story short, mickey ultimately finds out about ian's powers after kash catches them, after mickey comes back to the store the next day, after mickey mocks him and tries to rob him again and kash fires one bullet into the fucking drywall, barely missing mickey's head

his finger's on the trigger and his aim's a little better, and that's when ian drops what he's doing and uses his powers

(probably should have mentioned before this that kash already knew about them, something about them having secrets between them (ew) whatever)

ian stops kash from shooting mickey in the store--even though kash is fighting the hold ian has on him--and our story starts (ends?) there because that's as far as i got with that one

Yes! A question about my most special guys! Life is worth living!

I have so many headcanons for them it's hard to choose what to talk about. I am, in fact, planning to make one of those relationship charts where the characters express what they think about the other-I do like them to have unique dynamics between them (I feel there's enough wiggle room for that). Maybe this month I'll have a sudden inspiration burst and finally do it lol.

So let's do best and worst traits of each one, shall we?

Scrapper

Best trait: He is genuinely a good leader. He cares about each team member and their opinion, considers their stand when making a decision that affects them all, and takes care of them all the time (even to the point of smothering, lovingly smothering ofc). He also does not in any circumstance, put himself above them - even going as far as asking them to not call him 'boss', mostly because he sees his position as leader being to guide them and help them reach their full potential.

If you asked him, he'd say something generic, like: "My best trait? Oh, people say I'm a good listener!"

Worst trait: Aside from the serial killer tendencies(that's pretty obvious), he's a fucking manipulator and he doesn't feel sorry about it. The Constructicons as a whole are REALLY insular, (us vs them type of thing), this isn't different with Scrapper, but instead of isolating himself, he uses other people as tools to get them further. Aside from that he can be pretty aloof, even with his gestalt, something he thinks only he should carry all of the team's burdens, which, in turn, makes him grow detached. (But Long Haul snaps him back more often than not.)

If you asked him, he'd say his worst trait is caring too much, not humble brag, he genuinely thinks that (little freak).

Long Haul

Best trait: He's the only person in this gestalt with common sense, I'm not joking. He is down-to-earth and no-bullshit which makes him a perfect second to Scrapper's more unorthodox leadership style PLUS he's the only person who is willing to put Hook in his place.

If you asked him, he's say something like: "I'm the only normal mech in this function, not necessarily a good trait, but have you seen the others?!"

Worst trait: His stoicism sometimes turns into cynicism. He works in a career he hates and doesn't see an escape from it, so the bad vibes more often than not get to him. Of course, he combats this with that sweet apathy, "Oh, it doesn't matter what I want, at least the team is functioning".

If you asked him he'd say his worst trait is that his too damn independent.

Hook (<3)

Best trait: He is good at his job, like REALLY good. Mostly because if he takes on a task or an area of study, he'll not rest until he's the best at it and there is no more room for improvement (for a perfectionist like him? There is ALWAYS room for improvement.) So aside from also being a handsome fella, he's also extremely smart.

If you asked him he'd give you a comprehensible list of all of his traits, in no particular order, they're all his best.

Worst trait: Aside from being a perfectionist and the biggest enemy of deadlines; his ego knows no bounds, he NEEDS to have the last say in everything, he's never wrong no matter what, and he'll bring this hyper-logical approach to any discussion or problem even emotional ones (since his emotional intelligence is... extremely low, don't tell him I said that!)

Bonecrusher

Good trait: He's an ace at most things(demolitions, fighting, etc...), but unlike his BFF he isn't a braggart. Though I would argue his best trait is that he is fiercely loyal, he hates being talked down to or controlled, but Scrapper earned his respect, so he does anything he says without question.

If you asked him he'd say his focus and discipline are his best traits. (with a small smirk after, because this mofo is LYING.)

Worst trait: He's overprotective. If you mess with his gestalt, consider yourself dead. He really does think only he can fend for his gestalt and take their pains for himself; sometimes he escalates the situation so badly he may even admit he fucked up.

If you asked him, he'd say that sometimes he lets his emotions get the better of him. (Visualize Hook, sneering at him while he says that (because he's SO much better/s))

Scavenger

Good trait: He has the highest emotional intelligence of the team; more often than not serving as the voice of reason between them (not that he is heard by the other 4). Being the oldest also makes him the wisest among the Constructicons (and the faction in general TBH), so I'd think he can see the problems between them from a mile away.

If you asked him, he'd say there's nothing that noteworthy about him.

Worst trait: The constant need for approval(duh!). The older he gets the more his body breaks down, and the less he can work, and since most of his self-worth comes from his usefulness, you can already picture how it affects his mental health.

If you asked him, he'd pass the question.

Mixmaster

Good trait: The most resourceful Constructicon. If being a genius chemist is not enough he can make any type of material or alternative from basically nothing; he also thinks outside the box, which makes him able to solve complex problems in record time using the least amount of resources.

If you asked him, he'd say his best trait is his sense of humor. (NOT TRUE BTW.)

Worst trait: He's the most annoying guy you'll ever meet in your life, like no exaggeration, he simply loves getting on people's nerves (Hook has been his main victim for millions of years, but he isn't picky.)

an: this is for my summer holiday event! i was listening to a new playlist that had a lot of beach vibes and i thought a lot about yuuji!!

a few quiet knocks on your door turned your attention away from the cool breeze. a faint, it's me babe, can i come in? coming from behind the door, swinging open after you approved.

and in he walks, clothed in the most vivid swim trunks and sandals, sunglasses on top of his pink hair, causing it to look a little unruly. under his arm, he has a very full beach bag, as well as an umbrella tucked under the other. confused, you open your mouth to ask what this is all about, but he beats you to it.

you turn around, leaning back on your arms as you sit on the floor in front of him. "you decided that? what if i don't want to go to the beach?"

he laughs and places his belongings down on the floor, shuffling towards your bedroom. shouting down the hall, he states, "we both know that isn't true. c'mon, get changed!"

you smile to yourself. one of your favorite things about yuuji is how much he cares about you, knowing every little detail about you. what you order from each restaurant, your favorite snacks, the temperature that you like in your apartment, and even how many blankets and pillows you sleep with.

when you walk into your room, you see your sweet, loving boyfriend crouched on the ground, the contents of one of your dresser drawers all over the ground. before you can complain, he tosses a swimsuit at you. yuuji stands up triumphantly.

"get dressed, hottie. we got some waves to catch!"

"yuuji, we don't know how to surf."

"you know what i mean! just get dressed," he whines, shutting your door.

when you emerge, the two of you waste no time grabbing the final things needed for your day at the beach. hopping into his car, yuuji makes quick work of getting down to the coast and finding you a place to park.

now, yuuji doesn't want to brag, but he is basically a professional at beach days. he picks the tastiest snacks, packs the exact amount of drinks necessary, the perfect length of towels, and the best quality sunscreen to protect you guys. because of this, he has mastered the art of setting up the perfect spot on the beach, in the optimal location: not to far from the water, but far enough that you aren't near any splashing or little kids.

after you help him secure the umbrella in the sand, enthusiasm washes over you, and you start to skip towards the shore.

"just what do you think you're doing?" he shouts, waving you down.

"going to get in the water! come join me,"

catching up to you, he scoops you up and throws you over his shoulders.

"yuuji, put me down!" you huff, trying to wiggle out of his hold.

"nu-uh babe, we have to get some sunscreen on you. it's a crucial step, ya know, and i don't want you to get a sunburn," he states matter of factly, setting you down on the blanket. pouting, you look up at him in fake annoyance.

"hey, i don't wanna see that. sit up, let me get your back first," he sighs, settling in behind you, legs placed on either side of yours.

the cool, sickeningly sweet-smelling lotion drips down the curve of your shoulder blades, trickling down your spine. you gasp a little and arch your back, causing yuuji to laugh. he starts to work the sunscreen into your skin, the warmth of his palms making you relax.

sighing, you lean back into his touch and place your head on his shoulder. chuckling, he picks up the bottle again, putting a little in his hands to get the rest of your body. starting with your face, he rubs a little lotion into your cheeks, nose, and forehead, then works his way down the tops of your shoulders, over your arms, and finishing with the top of your chest.

"okay, now we can get into the water. are you ready?"

you nod, his small massage combined with the steady lull of the waves making you a little sleepy. sitting up to stretch, you yelp when you are suddenly lifted up into a pair of strong arms.

"w-wait! i'm not ready, i need to-"

interrupted by a very cold splash of water, you grab onto yuuji's shoulders, legs wrapped around his waist. laughing, he fake drops you in the water further, causing you to gasp loudly and grab onto him even tighter.

"doesn't this feel great! okay, sit up a little, lemme throw you in!"

"absolutely not, please yuuji let's just swim around!" you groan, holding onto his broad shoulders for dear life. he smiles and places a sweet kiss on your lips.

Songs that remind me of the Ghouls, part. I

Hello! This idea comes to me out of nowhere when I was listening to Spotify a few months ago (yes I'm procrastinating on making this post).

Hope you enjoy what I write and take it as a new music recommendation for your library 😉

1. Dewdrop

"Play with Fire" by Sam Tinnesz gives the dangerously delightful violence that reminds me of this incredible lead guitarist. Despite being the tiniest among the ghouls, with his intense prancing, his naughty hand gestures and guillotine-like headbang moves confirms that Dewdrop IS indeed the fire ghoul and most intimidating one who deserves this wicked, deep, and dark song.

2. Aether

This quintessence ghoul might look intimidating because of his well-built bulky posture. However, I see Aether is so loving, gentle, and wholesome towards other ghouls and ghoulettes. He's protective, it shows that he can be stern when needed. The song "Someone To You" by BANNERS is based on his softer side, it makes me feel safe, warm, and fuzzy. This is the type of man you should marry, girls (and guys).

3. Rain

Also known as the shy ghoul, Rain is absolutely loved by everyone. He is also acting clumsy sometimes. The song "Billie Bossa Nova" with its simple yet graceful tone reminds me of the way Rain moves and acting on stage. But if you're lucky you'll get to see him being sassy and a total kickass when the right song comes up. Billie Bossa Nova's lyrics talks about privacy, intimacy, and simplicity with the tension being built up with the sweet suggestive atmosphere as the song goes. That's what he is to me—gentle, shy, but secretly enjoying all the pleasure of being the center of attention.

4. Mountain

"Until I Found You" is the best fit for this tall earth ghoul because of his calm and secretly loving nature. Mountain as a vibe would be your favorite gentle and nostalgic memories, the feeling when you go into a vintage vinyl or record store after grabbing a warm cocoa or coffee while walking around the city at 4:33 PM. The vibe is warm, comfortable, and relaxed. Mountain attracts other ghouls or even humans to be closer to him, he's perfect for the ones seeking comfort and a safe place. He may not seem to be acting up so much on stage, therefore it makes him seem so mysterious, and that's also how he is when he's in love: expressing his feelings mostly in private.

5. Swiss

This multighoul is known for being playful, seductive, and energetic. Besides being a talented ghoul who could play various instruments, his best quality is his wiggles and his heart-throbbing shimmy that Papa loves so much. He is often seen making bold seductive moves, which I assume is the output of the energy that runs wild through his veins. You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC contains the same exact vibe, it is fun, sexy, and flirty. Not to mention the lyrics, "and knocking me out with those American thighs", Swiss indeed have what people called thunder thighs. This ghoul will be burning you inside out with the most joyful flame.
