14 & 21 for willabel (and Esper if u want! but idk as much abt them 👉🏻👈🏻)
yessss thank you for asking!!! <33 >:3c (and there's no better way to find out more! so i'll do both)
willabell
[14] What does it take to make them laugh, and what does their laugh sound like?
bell used to laugh a lot more easily, but she laughs in spite of herself. one of the funniest things she saw in our session recently was her sibling convincing one of her party members to eat dirt as a prank. she has a mischievous spirit! she'll laugh at an absurd situation and a shenanigan any day. her laugh mostly just sounds like my laugh because i'm the one who voices her and i'm not a professional voice actor by any means lol, but the way i picture it in my head is like... a trilling, ekekek, giggling kind of sound. she covers her mouth like a proper lady. but sometimes she goes full wheezing witch's cackle.
[21] When they’re sick, would they want others to visit and take care of them, or they would rather prefer not to be seen at not their best?
bell wants to be taken care of. she doesn't want to be seen at not her best, but that's pretty new to her because she's trying new ways to feel stronger and be respected. but that's not who she is as a person, lol. she was a big crybaby. she's sensitive. she wants to be taken care of, she doesn't want to feel both sick and alone. she wouldn't ask for help, but she would absolutely want it.
esper
[14] What does it take to make them laugh, and what does their laugh sound like?
stupid shit. schadenfreude. satisfaction. esper is a lover of mischief and chaos, and they'll laugh at the most out of pocket shit. they don't have much of a sense of humour, and they have a pretty flat affect so they don't laugh easily, but when they do laugh, it's usually because they've been tickled by the audacity of the situation itself to be funny. most of the time when they laugh it's more of a snort or a single "ha", but they do have a low under-their-breath chuckle that's harder to stop once it gets started.
[21] When they’re sick, would they want others to visit and take care of them, or they would rather prefer not to be seen at not their best
esper would rather eat glass than be seen as sick or otherwise incapacitated or messy. the moment someone would try to see them they would immediately do everything they could to not look or act sick. if someone tried to take care of them anyway they'd cave and let them, but they'd be mortified the entire time and the energy would be so fucked up. they think it's neat that someone cares, but they'd also be like get the hell away from me, i'm fine, i'm literally fine. esper haaaaates being seen when they're not at their best.

I Am Dying A Thousand Deaths…
I’m currently watching the director’s cut of Napoleon by Ridley Scott. There is quite a bit new material that does fill out the story, explains things better and overall makes the movie flow better. There are gross inaccuracies still that makes the Napoleonic historian, us, cringe, but the average viewer wouldn’t care.
Some scenes are good, some are meh and then a few like what the hell am I looking at?
I haven’t been through the whole movie yet because I have to stop it every now and then but I had to stop and talk about this fucking scene.
This. Fucking. Scene.
Napoleon seeks out Hippolyte Charles to get advice on how to get Josephine pregnant.
Scene opens with Hippolyte waiting to be summoned by the Emperor and he seems nervous because he probably thinks Napoleon is going to confront him on his affair with the wife. Cannons are being fired outside randomly, who the fuck knows why, and every explosion makes Charles fidget more and look more guilty.
He is summoned.
Napoleon asks him if he can keep this conversation to himself and be discreet. Charles agrees. Napoleon then asks if he has children.
Yes, he has three sons, he says.
Napoleon asks if it took long (the act) to conceive.
Charles says he can’t remember.
Napoleon then asks, I shit you not, “is it important to pleasure a lady before you enter her”
Charles is like “dude” and mumbles about loving his wife. Napoleon says he loves his wife too and doesn’t want Charles to be shy, speak openly. Charles says he doesn’t know what the FUCK is going on.
Napoleon then says, again I shit you not, “tell me is it important for me to use my mouth down below between my wife’s legs before I enter her. “
The fuck is going on! Am I having a stroke? Am I stroking out?
Charles says he believes that a more a woman is aroused the more likely she is to conceive.
Napoleon thanks him and says he sought him out because he is a man of good “cocksmanship”, has a pretty face and the aire of a hairdresser.
I want to throw myself out of a window. I am dying watching this. Not laughter, like I want to go crawl under the bed and never come out again.
This fucking scene.
What in the absolute actual fuck did I just watch?

Marie Felix Hippolyte Lucas A portrait of Loie Fuller
source : artmialma
The American dancer Loie Fuller gained fame and notoriety in Paris for revolutionizing the world of dance. A free dance practitioner, she created the Serpentine Dance, performed in a long, flowing silk skirt, which dramatically captured the multi-colored stage lights. Her performances at the Folies Bergère were legendary and inspired a long stream of artists, such as Jules Chéret, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Auguste Rodin, Jean-Léon Gérôme, Franz von Stuck and Demetre Chiparus.
Her innovations in stage lighting using chemical compounds for creating color gel and the use of chemical salts for luminescent lighting and garments earned her several patents and the respect of renowned scientists, such as Marie Curie. Fuller was instrumental in introducing Isadora Duncan to the French public and igniting her career.
