comic about wyll and the justice trial in the wyrmway! he's trying so hard. it's a trial about appropriately punishing a thief and i accidentally stacked the party with the three worst stealers (with esper being the absolute fucking worst of them, they literally ransacked the flaming fist armoury on the way here). frankly, stealing is the least of the crimes of the dubiously-redeemed torture enthusiast brigade over here, and it's definitely not the only reason they're evading justice, but it is the funniest one to receive a terrible death sentence for from the team's resident magistrate.

The marking on Vivian’s side are from using experimental magic so that she could be suited to carry her children but accidentally scarred herself oops but that’s okay it worked out in the end and she had her kids as she dreamed to have them :3 and got free cool tattoos

a little piece I had done to show case their babies, Umbra (any pronouns) and Esper (they/kit)—Esper’s design changed to be much pinker

here’s also a drawing I had done of before Esper was made as originally it was just gonna be Umbra, but thought it would be cool to do more than one fanchild :] (Vivian does have the scarring it’s just on her other side, she got one each from the spells)

and also fresh off the press art I had just done of the two siblings but older! I love them so much,,

I feel like Vivian and Goombella probably had to jump through SO many hoops to have these two the way they did… just trying to figure out something that would work for Vivian as it’s very unexplored territory to have a transwoman character give birth (before anyone says anything I KNOW it’s unrealistic irl but let me dream and have fun with fictional women)… but they figured it out :]

I feel like Goombella would NOT wanna go through the process of giving birth and being pregnant not only cuz of the experience but also it might just jeopardize her career she’s been working so hard toward—also just generally they probably had to deal with a lot of species incompatibility as is

Hey guys! Long time no see.

One of these days I swear I won't start these updates with an apology. Today is not that day.

Same old story, life's hectic. There's not much more to it than that and I don't want to bore you with details. Let's just get right into it.

Chapter 2 is now over 18k words!

...and we are past where the old demo got up to! Yay! (I hope.) I've sent it off to be edited so I have something ready. I know from seeing other creators do similar polls a lot of you guys prefer chapters to be released only once they're done and I totally get it. However I do think I'll be releasing what I've got ASAP because a) it's been so long and b) it will update the demo to be in second person.

Hi, I'm Dan! One of my biggest hobbies is Magic: the Gathering, and the main format I play is Commander. I love building deck lists for decks I'll never put together in paper, and I wanted to channel that drive into a specific project, rather than just hopping from random deck idea to random deck idea. So, I'm doing what I'm calling...

The Esper Challenge

The Basics

The goal of this challenge is to build new decklists for every single Esper commander over the course of this next year. The pace I hope to hit is one list a day, but don't hold me to it. I was inspired to do this by a friend who is in the process of doing a similar challenge, but with all the Bant commanders instead.

The Specifics

There are currently, as of time of posting, 42 cards in the Esper (white-blue-black) color combination that are legal to be your commander. I will be going through them in EDHRec ranking order - I'll be starting with the most popular commander, and working my way down the list.

The decklists I post will be newly constructed - I may have built a list for a specific commander in the past, but this is a deck building challenge, not a challenge to post old lists I have lying around.

I do not plan on having any of the commanders show up in the 99 of the other decks - I'm trying to build decks that focus on the commander, and I feel that would take away from it.

What About Partners?

I have something planned for partners! I'm obviously not going to do every single partner pairing, that would take forever and not add anything meaningful to the challenge, but I didn't want to ignore them completely.

There are currently no Esper colored partner-with pairs, so that's easy. Similarly, there's only one Friends Forever pair, so I'll do that one no problem.

For partner pairs, the only way to reach Esper is to use one of four 2 color partner commanders: Ravos, Silas Renn, Tymna, and Ishai. I plan on making one list for each of them, pairing them with a mono color partner that I feel would make an interesting deck.

And finally, there are 6 Azorius Time Lord Doctors. Unfortunately, there's only two Doctor's Companions with a black color identity, so we'll be seeing Clara and Vislor multiple times.

Final Fantasy XII Week - Day 2: Esper

Dislyte OCs!? Old AND New???

You may remember Fable from an old post of mine where I they had almost the same design, but now that I’m 2 years older and have more of an understanding of what Dislyte is like, I kinda got carried away hehe-

Short descriptions under the cut!

Fable is still a bounty hunter of rogue Espers, meaning they get into many a conflict with powerful entities. They sympathize with a lot of them, but ultimately must stop them.

Shinju is a member of the Twilight Order, less direct than Yamato or Moroyama, and not as separated as Yuuhime, and more of a trusted independent. Being apart of a dangerous society, they are never spared of a hostile enemy.

Kaviir was previously untainted by the Miracles, a researcher studying how it could shift people to Espers, and what relationship they have with Miramon. Unfortunately, he tapped in too deep and explored where he shouldn’t… something in him changed alongside his exterior.

Santiago was more thrilled to become an Esper than most people. His physical strength was multiplied, he gained an affinity to fire, and his wrestling abilities became immortalized by Xiuhtecuhtli. He uses them for entertainment, now, while having to fight for real sometimes.

Makena left her home after being exposed to the Miracles, at fear of becoming a monster to them, and instead settling down somewhere else. At first wanting to hide, once she discovered the healing affinity she was granted now, she decided to become a wandering medic for Espers and Humans alike.

Dandapani is a respected Esper despite being a self proclaimed protector of Humans. Unfortunately, with this title, he’s considered a traitor to Espers, especially since he has to take some of them out to help protect those who can’t protect themselves. His ego, though, has left Humans to also distance from him.

Lucia is one of three sisters who became Espers, she herself being gifted with premonitions of death and defeat. More of a trickster than anything, she loves to just observe as bad things happen, all while a little too excited about them.

Adonis was a product of war and conflict, truly never having down time, especially when he became an Esper. He’s been with the Esper Union for a long time now, and despite his combat focused drive, he does long for affection and the idea of settling down.

Kekoa is your standard guardian Esper, helping people at sea but also the Union, with food, good vibes, and muscle! He’s always been a… not too bright guy, but at least now he’s focused on helping!

Yuriko became an Esper with her sister after a Miracle ascended near their home town, losing her humanity in the process as well as her sister. She’s extremely nice and a valuable asset to have, but she’s so focused on saving her sister that sometimes she can lose track.

I’ve made so many Espers now and I’m having so much fun!! I have ideas for more but I’m trying to slow down now~
