Listen I love fankids and I love character design! Unfortunately I have no plans of making any fankids for these two in actual Finders Keepers canon because like...literally no way to do it they're too different biologically. So I adapted some instead! These are the only people I follow with fankids I think, but it's enough to make a decent spectrum as far as which parent they pull from. A few colors here n there have been adjusted just to make them look more related to my versions (super vibrant stuff makes them look like sparkledogs with how my designs work aksdjfhaskhf sorry Nyx specifically ily I promise).

i think that the thing i love most about lbfad is that the women are so compelling. like. the cast is fairly evenly split (which can be a surprise tbh) but all of the major characters have really compelling lives and storylines! xiao lanhua of course as the main character, but then chidi nuzi being the god of war. her whole sacrifice thing. danyin being the initial low stakes antagonist and then kind of being on friendly terms and her whole quest to become the next god of war. jieli just wanting to run her shop scamming people but going along with xlh because theyre genuinely good friends. the women of cangyan hai. sansheng and siming dont have a ton of story but the little hints are COMPELLING! they all have their own rich internal lives That Dont Revolve Around Men. truly lbfad is one for the ages. and for the lesbians.

NUzi Fankid: Kotaro

Something posessed me enough to make a whole fankid. I said it a long time ago - I believe when I first introduced Null, but I'm not good with designing OCs that closely resemble the canon characters. In this case, I never thought I'd even make a NUzi fankid. Then, while in the haze of artblock, I look down, and there they are. Staring at me, ready to be outlined. XD

I've decided to go with the adopted route to try not to involve the absolute solver much, just as an extra challenge for myself (a challenge that I DO NOT need TwT). Either way, welcome Kotaro. You'll be seeing them here and there. The biggest effect they've had here would probably be making me create a whole separate AU. Yup, I've finally decided to compile Null, C, and Kotaro into a single AU: Discarded. When will it be done? Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm planning on making comics of them too since, more often than not, my OCs are only present to create more nuzi scenes. XD

If you can guess where I took heavy inspiration for their outfit (age 21 one) from, you'll get a cookie >w< (hint: it is from an anime).

In all seriousness though, although I'm a Nuzi/Biscuitbites shipper and all, I overall really do love and adore how much N and Uzi's relationship has blossomed and developed over the course of the show so far and how much closer the two have gotten. Whether you see them as either platonic or potential lovers, you can't deny that these two are absolutely adorable and badass, and just work so damn well off one another, they're honestly the heart of the show, in my opinion. (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠) You can honestly see the friendship and connection between the two and see that they do deeply care about one another and bring the best out of each other, it's honestly understandable why so many fans love the pairing between these two and their dynamic and find it comforting, because there's so much charm and even relatability to both characters. You truly do believe in their bond and their relationship is only going to get so much stronger once the final two episodes of the season are released next year, especially with the huge amount of stakes involved now + with N having to choose between either saving the universe or potentially killing Uzi.

N X Uzi is pretty much a slow burn, it's taking its time before things get serious between the two. To me, nothing in my eyes feels forced or rushed unlike other romances in pieces of media I've seen which didn't have the best development and growth, or the right amount of it. Although, relationships like N and Uzi have been done so many times and can be seen as cliche, (which I can get behind!) that doesn't always mean it's automatically bad and horrible, some cliche tropes for potential couples can/have worked as long as they're written correctly and done well! For me, when it comes to my favorite ships I like for them to have chemistry and believability and show the connection between the characters.

Honestly, for any romances/relationships in pieces of media to come across as believable than the audience must be convinced that the couple is genuinely connected and N and Uzi fit this category although we're only in the first season and we aren't sure what the future holds for the show, there's more potential to show more growth and development for N and Uzi and their relationship, with the potential of them being more! I honestly don't see how these two wouldn't end up together by the end especially after so much buildup and teasing only to have the two end up with different characters at the end of the show, it would've definitely left a bad taste in the fans mouths and would've been pointless. It would be understandable for N and Uzi to get together and it works, as not only do they have the strongest dynamic and relationship out of all the characters but throughout all the episodes (so far, at least) the two have shown to start growing closer and closer, the show has hinted at them being something more eventually. ❤️

Now, of course, anything can go and Envy might end up being the endgame couple instead, especially after V's sacrifice and her growing character development things could change. But, I honestly don't really see them getting together and besides, He and V could still be friends and connect and not everyone needs to get/be in a relationship to be happy. V doesn't need to be in a relationship with N to be happy, she needs to improve herself first and become a better person which is what she's slowly doing and as said, she can still find happiness in a found family and friendship, she can still find happiness in other places! 💙💞

Sorry for the delay on this one. Also may or may not snuck some non-subtle Nuzi in there. Love this idea though. It got a lot longer than I expected, so I'm gonna post it on AO3 as well.

Wrote this as taking place post-episode 8, and reader is ambiguous in both gender and identity.

The sky was clear for the first time in weeks on Copper-9. Between the near ceaseless blizzards and recent confrontation with the Absolute Solver, the sky above the outpost was typically one filled with grey clouds that made the only light bouncing off the snow all the more dim. But tonight, it was the clearest you had ever seen. The ringed planet that reflected most of the light back down to Copper-9 was the most visible it had ever been, and the countless stars that peppered the sky shone down in a radiant display. It was beautiful, to put it simply. Peaceful. That peace was interrupted by the electronic cacophony of Sparky's shrieking, followed by V's annoyed yelling. "UGH! Forget it!" You looked down from your position on the secondary level of the roof. Lizzy was preoccupied with her phone (as per usual) and V was walking from her seat across from Sparky. She had just lost a match of chess to it, based on the flipped table and scattered pawns across the floor. Sparky let out another loud screech of triumph towards V as she walked away, only to be met with the tip of one of her bladed limbs. It recoiled and sat in silence, the message clear: "Shut up or I'll make you shut up."

You turned away to not be staring at V as she climbed the short distance between the raised flooring and where she had been seated, her peg-like legs 'clacking' with each step of the way. With a frustrated sigh, she sat herself next to you, legs curled (or rather arched) up against her frame as she looked up with you. "You alright?" you asked V, breaking a short moment of silence between you both as she seemed to be alerted back into reality, her eyes changing from their blank circles to one of brief surprise, then back to her usual half-lidded snarkiness.

"Totally. Definitely. Completely fine losing a game of chess to a brain-damaged DINOSAUR!" V shouted the last bit, leaning over the ledge towards Sparky, her let out a chuff of sounds in taunting. V looked about ready to pounce on it. "Hey! It's okay, he probably ate the pieces or something." you tried to joke, hoping to calm V down. Luckily, it seemed to work. V scoffed lightly, returning to her previous position as she looked up with you. "Yeah, probably."

The sky was still cloudless, and the only thing in the air other than the stars and planets were Uzi and N, flipping and dancing through the air with each other, hand-in-hand with one another. As they rose up from a deep dive towards the ground, you could've sworn you saw them kiss, but Uzi's organic wings shielded them both. "The lovebirds make you gag as much as me?" V asked, her tone one of joking, but you felt as if there was a hint of jealousy behind it.

"Not really." you replied. "I'm happy for them. It must be nice to have someone to lean against after all they went through." V's gaze shifted slightly downward. "Whatever." You felt a hint of guilt. She didn't exactly have the same leisure as the two drones in the sky did. J was still mostly absent since The Solver's defeat, but you and others at the colony had seen a singular Winged Drone flying through the skies around the outpost in the past few weeks. Uzi and N were basically tied at the hip, and Lizzy seemed more interested in texting on her phone than interacting with anyone.

"You know any of the constellations?" You asked her, trying to break up her negative train of thought. You pointed up at one particular cluster, and she shifted her gaze upward. V adjusted her position to be able to see where exactly you were pointing.

She squinted, the lights of her eyes narrowing to almost singular lines. "Um... not really. Most of the time I'm looking down from the sky, not up at it." She took the moment to bare one of her clawed hands, a villainous smile spread across her visage. "Prey doesn't go that high~"

Your expression shifted to one of nervousness, but V laughed, and her hand quickly changed back to the silicone digits she possessed. "Relax, I'm not gonna eat you. For now." She smirked, and you only shot back a sheepish smile.

You pointed back up at the same constellation, drawing invisible lines with your finger as V leaned against you once more. You pointed out all of the ones you could see. Lacerta, Draco, Ursa Minor and Major, Leo, and everything else you could make out between the skyscrapers of Copper-9. V had gone silent, and whenever you glanced over at her, she seemed transfixed on what you were saying. Her expression shifted at some point, you noticed, and it held a soft smile.

As you noticed another cluster of stars to point out, the slightest sound of breath stopped you from speaking. V was asleep, not the deep kind where it ran a program over their visor, but still one where she was unconscious. Her head lay against your shoulder, her eyes thin lines of light as you let her rest. It was a beautiful night, even if you didn't include the stars.

envy (n x v) is a really cute ship but im sorry the people who ship it are horrible. the fact that there are envy shippers sending death threats to glitch and trying to doxx liam is actually disgusting. ive seen way too many ordinary fans getting death threats on twitter / tiktok just because they ship nuzi, its sickening. not to mention all the people getting attacked for shipping wd x dd ships because its "proship," its not. we have proof that uzi and N are the same age in the show, and glitch is hinting at the ship a lot. there's a bunch more but I don't really wanna say it because i don't have any proof, and the worst part? the show ISNT EVEN ROMANCE BASED. the new episode was packed with so much lore and the plot is so so cool and the only thing people are talking about is N and uzi holding hands and blushing?? please.
