🌙 It's no shock that Naruto loves being affectionate in every way possible, having his hair played with is one of his favorite activities!

🌙 Pat your lap and he'll get the signal instantly, rushing up to you and putting his chin on your thighs with that iconic smirk.

🌙 Give his scalp a few scratches, it's comforting to him. His hair is oddly soft despite him seeming like he has a shitty hair routine... Wonder what his hair care routine is? "Heheh, I don't really have a routine... I just dip my hair in the hot springs and call it a day!" Maybe the hot springs has some kind of magic imbued in it?

🌙 Sometimes, Naruto will play around with your hair. He's a goof, and ends up messing up your hairstyle or tugging too hard... He'll apologize with a crooked smile, so don't get too mad at him <3

🌻 Kakashi doesn't mind it when you play with his hair. It's nice, actually. Reading his book while you run your fingers through his gray locks... It's a peaceful moment he'll cherish.

🌻 He'd also like if he was pressed between your thighs while you played with his hair, so do the man a favor and indulge him a little. It's nothing inherently sexual... Kakashi just likes your thighs.

🌻 He loves falling asleep on your lap while you mess with his hair. Perhaps you can take his vulnerable sleeping state to pull down his mask... Nope. He'll catch your wrist and stop you before you get the chance to. Perhaps he has a special sixth sense for that...

🌻 Sometimes, Kakashi will tie your hair for you (if it is long enough to tie). It's a small act of affection, but it's sweet regardless. He isn't exactly one to play with your hair often, but sometimes he'll grab a strand while you're talking and twirl it between his fingers.

🦋 Hinata is such a sweet girl, letting you do what you want as long as it makes you happy. And if playing with her hair makes you happy, then she's more than willing to sit down and let you run your fingers through her hair.

🦋 She doesn't mind at all if you randomly play with her hair, she's glad you like her hair so much! Who wouldn't though? Her hair is silky and long, absolutely gorgeous. She takes extremely good care of it and her hair has a soft scent of lavender.

🦋 If you ever asked, she'd help you do your hair. Hinata enjoys brushing your hair, but if you prefer it messy she's fine with that too.

🦋 Tie her hair and do different hair dos! She'll love it, a pink hue on her cheeks as you braid or curl her hair. Even if you suck at it, Hinata will try to compliment you regardless on your skills.

🌹 You want to play with Itachi's hair? Go right ahead, darling. If it makes you happy... Itachi is happy too. He'll untie his hair and crouch down to lay his head on your lap, letting you do as you wish.

🌹 The look he gives you while you run your fingers through his strands is so... Soft. He enjoys your touch, being as touch starved as he is. He'll run circles on your thigh with his hand, giving you the sweetest smile.

🌹 Let him pamper you as well, he loves taking care of you and making you feel good. Itachi will return the favor with soft kisses as he motions for you to lay in his lap.

🌹 King of scalp massages, the way he runs his hands through your hair is comforting, he doesn't care if your hair is crunchy either the man persists. Please don't tell him no, he's just so eager to make you comfortable and happy, it makes him twice as joyful. But if you really don't like it he'll stop, not wanting to go against your wishes.

🌱 "What? No, don't touch my hair."

🌱 Proceeds to get mad when you say it's okay. Sasuke really expects you to pressure him so he can pretend he hates it 😭. If you do pressure him however he'll grumble and say "Fine. I'm only letting you do this because you'll just keep pestering me."

🌱 Acts uninterested as you play around with his hair, but he is ecstatic on the inside. He won't admit that ever, not even to himself, but this makes him feel extremely comfortable.

sasuke uchiha

Sasuke is not one to express his emotions openly, but he is very perceptive. Ever since he met you, he has realized that you have something special. Despite his cold and distant demeanor, Sasuke is drawn to your dedication and skills as a ninja. He watches you with an air of protection and admiration, although he rarely shows it outwardly. However, he has a hard time finding the right words, especially since nonverbal communication, like gestures or sign language, is not his strong suit.

Sometimes, you catch him staring at you in silence, unsure of how to express what he feels, and he becomes frustrated by the communication barrier. Often, he resorts to simple gestures or long glances, trying to convey his thoughts or feelings (which can work occasionally), while in his mind, there is a whirlwind of unspoken emotions. If he feels that his usual methods are insufficient, he might write you notes, even though carrying a notebook just to communicate can be bothersome.

When Sasuke finally manages to express something through signs or a language you both understand, it might be something as simple as, “Are you okay?” He’ll ask at random times, after a mission or training session. It takes him a while to open up, but little by little, you become someone important to him.

naruto uzumaki

Naruto, with his outgoing and energetic personality, would be someone who wouldn’t hesitate to make an effort to learn your sign language. He might be a little clumsy when trying to communicate with you at first, but his enthusiasm to include you and make you feel part of the group would be contagious. He would treat you with warmth and sincerity, always striving to make you feel comfortable.

Sometimes, his reactions could be impulsive and somewhat exaggerated, like when he tries to give you a gift but doesn’t know exactly what you would like. However, he would always try to make you laugh, finding ways to communicate through gestures, smiles, or even something as simple as a drawing in your notebook or something he made for you at the last minute.

When he's around you, Naruto tends to be very open, and although he can’t verbalize it as easily as he would like, his emotions are reflected in his attitude: he smiles more often, feels more confident, and is willing to protect you.

hinata hyuga

Hinata would be very shy at first, but her heart is pure and sincere. From the moment she saw you, she began to feel a strong admiration for you—not only for your skills as a ninja, but also for the way you face life with determination. She wouldn't dare express her feelings directly. However, if she doesn't know sign language (which is likely), she would try to communicate with you through written notes or small pieces of paper.

Hinata would approach you subtly, offering a shy smile, and would turn red if she felt close to you. (She would likely have a heart attack if you placed a hand on her shoulder to check if she's okay when she's in that state).

Sometimes, her gestures would speak louder than any words she can said: a touch on the shoulder, a tender look from afar. Without a doubt, her feelings would be quiet but deep, and they would show in the way you treat her.

rock lee

Lee, always full of energy and optimism, would be the most enthusiastic in showing you his affection. He wouldn't mind at all that you were deaf, because his passion for martial arts and his way of seeing the world are not limited by words. If he had to express himself, he would do so with exaggerated gestures, moving dynamically to make sure you could understand his emotions. (P.S. most of the time you don’t, but you don’t want to hurt his feelings, so you just smile, hoping he does will all make sense later.)

He might try to teach you some fighting techniques in a physical way, using his body to guide you, always showing admiration and respect for you as a ninja. Although he can be a bit clumsy at times, his support would be unconditional. If he felt nervous or too excited to be around you, his face would turn red, but he would still smile with joy. Lee would be the kind of person who, even without speaking, would be noticed for his dedication and his exuberant way of showing affection.

neji hyuga

Neji is very serious, but he has a noble heart. His attitude toward your limitations as a deaf person would be one of respect, and he would be interested in learning more about you and your abilities. Initially, he might seem distant or cold, but over time, he would come to recognize your worth as a ninja, which would only increase his admiration for you. At first, it would be difficult for him to express his feelings directly. He is not someone who uses many words, but his actions would always reflect his respect and affection for you.

Neji could be very protective, especially if he sees someone hurting you or underestimating you because of your deafness. He would not hesitate to defend you, even if he doesn’t know how to express himself verbally. When he feels close to you, he could be a little softer and more attentive—traits that are rare for him. If he ever developed deeper feelings, he would probably express them with a direct and firm look, though indirectly: "I don't need words to show that I trust you."

A Genin Obito in love would be a young man full of energy and enthusiasm, eager to learn and adapt in order to be close to you. He would be clumsy, that's for sure, but his love would be sincere and transparent.

He would try to express his affection both physically and emotionally, though his gestures might be more childish or playful. He would always seek to make you feel comfortable and special.

His passion for life and his desire to protect those he loves would be evident, but in a purer and more direct way, before what happened to him happens and he transforms into the darker Obito that we all know.

"Foxy, foxy, foxy," one of my coworkers tease, wolf-whistling at me as I walk past the secretary's desk, making sure to flash my anbu badge. The bear-masked man flashes his ID badge as well, quickly following after me. "You get your duty report for today?"

     "Where do you think I'm heading? Not smarter than the average bear are we?" I tease back, heading towards the Commander's office.

     "Ha, ha, ha. Like I haven't heard a million yogi jokes already," he grumbles, clinging to the straps of his vest as we walk down the hallway. "I got my duty report for the day already."

     "Ya? Then why are you here bothering me?"

     "Because border shift change doesn't happen for another hour."

     "Ha!" I laugh in his face, an unseen smile cracking across my lips under my mask. "Imagine getting stuck on border watch. Could not be me."

     "Not all of us can be the Hokage's favorite," he groans, an eye roll paired with it. "Whatcha do to become Sarutobi's favorite?"

     "Hey, watch yourself," I warn him, the blurring of the lines not being too difficult to see. "Don't be mad that I'm a better Shinobi than you."

     "In your dreams."

     "Oh ya?" I ask, scanning my badge across the anbu Commander's door. "Remind me, Winnie Bear, does... does your badge open the Commander's door?" I mock, repeatedly closing and then rescanning my ID. "Cause it seems that mine does. Does yours do that too? How about you try it," I continue, closing the door again before dramatically stepping aside.

     Bear looks at me unamused, arms crossed over his chest. "You're not funny, Fox."

     "Go ahead, try it. Unless you're going to deny your captain," I continue to test, throwing a hand out towards the door.

     "This is an abuse of power," he groans, rolling his eyes again as he tugs out his badge. Bear slides his badge across the sensor, a blinking red light and the denial beep filling the hallway. "Way to make your point, Captain. Don't forget you're only two ranks higher than me."

     "It's still higher though," I gloat, scanning my badge again before sliding past the door, making sure it locks closed behind me.

     "Captain Fox." The commander calls, his mask left on the desk, showing off his aged face in the safe space of his office. "Did you enjoy your power trip?"

     "My apologies, Commander," I mumble, embarrassment crawling up the back of my neck. "That was unprofessional of me."

     "You are fine, Fox," Commanded chuckles, leaning back in his chair. "I'm glad you're in a good mood today."

     "Great, that's never a good thing," I grumble, letting out an audible groan.

     Commander lets out another chuckle, his chest vibrating because of the sound. "You have a rather easy day today, Captain Fox."

"Oh, that's even worse," I mumble, rolling my shoulders as I internally groan. "Border duty?"

"No, no, no, nothing like that," my boss says, waving his hands around before he shifts the files around on his desk. "What do you know about Kurenai Sarutobi?"

"Not a lot. That she's a new jonin and that Lord Third enlisted her to genin duty, that's about it."

Commander hums in agreement as he nods his head, focusing on the file he was looking for. "Yes, well her first check-in needs to be done, so surprise - "

"I'm stuck babysitting for the day?" I grumble, letting out an audible groan.

"It's not babysitting."

"It is though. I have to make sure Kurenai is doing everything by the book and deal with her genins? That's babysitting."

"There's more," my boss says, chuckles spilling out with the short sentence. "While you're 'babysitting', you'll also have to register her genins."

"You're kidding."

"I am not. If you so wish it you can do border duty instead."

"Nope, babysitting is fine," I rush out, snatching the file from him before I turn on my heels. "Later, Commander."

"Enjoy your babysitting, Fox."

"Ya, ya, ya," I mumble under my breath, flipping through the file. Kurenai seems to have some pretty high-level genins; the Hyuga Princess, an Inuzuka, and the Aburame Chief's son. What a power crew.

"I don't understand," Kurenai mumbles, looking over the order of surveillance the Commander placed in my duty file for the day. "I don't get why I need to be supervised. Or what the info packets are."

"Saru-Chan," Asume pipes up, smoke curling out from his lips because of the smoke he's enjoying. "The first two years as a jonin, you get randomly supervised to ensure the Hokage's decision was correct."

"If Lord Third wasn't confident in his decision why'd he make it?"

The man chuckles, another puff of smoke spilling out. "It's just a check-and-balance thing, it's nothing personal. The information pockets are for your genins. They passed the academy but they still need to be registered as shinobis."

     "Registered? I don't remember registering when I started out."

     "Since our time, registration has been adjusted. It used to happen at the academy. Students would fill out the packets on the first day and then if they passed their final year, their information would get registered. In recent years, Lord Third changed it so only the genins that passed both the academy and Sensei testing would register. It saves time and effort if we only register those that actually become genins," I explain, internally groaning again. Did this lady not read her information pocket on being a genin guardian? Apparently not.

     "Oh, okay. That makes sense. What do I have to do for my surveillance thing?"

     "Just go about your day-to-day routine. I just watch and take notes to turn into the Hokage."

     "Well, that's dumb," Kurenai mumbles, flipping through one of the information packets. "What if nothing happens? What if it's a normal day? You can't see my qualifications for being a jonin if nothing happens. Not to mention, aren't people going to act differently if they know they're being watched?"

     "Not all your surveillances will be on a 'you-know' basis," I tell her, rolling my shoulders again. They need to make these anbu vests more comfortable. "Some can and probably will be done without your knowledge."

     "That's an invasion of privacy."

     "Welcome to the Shinobi world," I grumble, getting fed up with the jonin's whining. "Now, not to push your day around but do you mind finding your genins? We should get working on their registration."

     "We're meeting for training in about an hour. Go do whatever your surveillance thing is until then," the kunoichi mutters, handing me back my paper and the pockets before turning back towards Asume again.

     Fine by me, I don't mind perching in a tree for an hour while I watch the two of them flirt back and forth. Maybe Asume will have a good pickup for once so that I can steal to use at the bar tonight.

"Kurenai-Sensei!" A young man's voice calls, cutting off Asume's next terrible pickup line. He sucks at pickup lines, giving me no new material to use. It also gave me the notes of my babysittee being entangled with a fellow jonin, which is a whole other pile of paper, if they end up getting married at least. For the time being, it'll only be something Lord Third will want to monitor.

"Sorry, we're late!" The boy calls again, the dog running around his ankles barking in agreement. That must be the Inuzuka genin.

"Our apologies for being late, Sensei. The reason being Kiba's inability to manage his time," a monotone voice calls, tugging my sights from the want to be werewolf. A lighter-toned version of Shibi is turned towards the dog and boy partnership, most likely glaring at them. That must be the Aburame Chief's son.

"Yes, our apologies, Kurenai-Sensei," a soft feminine voice breaks through, a small girl slowly weaving her way between the two boys. And there is the Hyuga Princess. "It won't happen again. We're terribly sorry," the Princess continues, bowing quickly. When she stands up straight, her cheeks are dusted in embarrassment. That girl isn't going to get far as a shinobi if this is her usual behavior.

"What's on the agenda today?" Shibi's son asks, all three genins' focus on their Sensei.

"Oh, you guys have the best day imaginable," Asume teases, a chuckle ringing out from the man. "You enjoy your little anbu, Saru-Chan. I'll catch ya later," he continues, waving as he walks away.

"What does Asume-Senpai mean?" The Hyuga girl asks, her big doe eyes turned towards her Sensei.

"Well, one of the Black Ops officers is going to join us today," Kurenai shortly explains, her head shifting towards the trees in search of me.

"That's so cool! Oh, oh, oh! Do you think they're here to recruit one of us?! Is that why an Anbu is going to hang around today?!" The Inuzuka boy asks, his head snapping around, looking for me as well.

I jump down from the tree branch I'm perched in, not making a sound like I've been trained to do. "No, I'm not in charge of recruitment," I answer, popping up from the brush I landed in.

There's a range of reactions; the Hyuga girl looks startled, the Inuzuka boy yells, his dog barks, the Aburame looks unamused, and Kurenai is trying to calm down her genins.

"You look so cool!" Inuzuka cheers, his whole body vibrating with excitement once the spook wears off. "Are you a girl or boy though?"

"I'm an Anbu," I answer, glancing toward his Sensei who's red in embarrassment.

"Well, duh," the boy says, rolling his eyes at me. "But are you a boy Anbu or a girl Anbu?"

"I'm a Captain Anbu," I respond, finding the conversation a bit amusing.

"That's cool too, but what's in your pan - "

"I'm so sorry!" Kurenai cuts her genin off, jumping forward to wrap her hand around the mouth of her genin. "Kiba can be a little..."

"Invasive," Shibi's son intervenes, getting a glare from his squad mate. "If you are not here for recruitment, what are you here to do?"

"First off, we need to get your registration forms filled out. Then I'm going to spend the day watching you guys train," I explain, a smile tugging on my lips as I watch Kurenai dig into her genin about manners.

The Hyuga girl takes slow steps forward, stopping right in front of me. "Anbu captain-sama?"

"Yes?"

"Can I touch your mask?" She asks, hand reaching up with the hopes of feeling my mask.

"No," I answer shortly, snatching her wrist as I take a step back. "My mask is off limits," I add, releasing the girl from my hold.

"I'm so sorry!" The girl whispers, dropping into a bow again. "I didn't mean to upset you or break any of your rules," Her tone stays soft, almost softer than a whisper as she apologizes. When she stands straight again, her cheeks are a dark red and her eyes are almost watery.

"Just don't touch it," I grumble, walking away from the girl and heading towards her Sensei. "We should find somewhere to sit so your genins can fill out their paperwork."

"Oh, right. Probably. How about we go have lunch and do your paperwork before we start our training?" Kurenai asks her students, her focus turned towards them.

"Hell ya!" Kiba cheers, racing down the road, his dog hot on his heels. Maybe I should have switched to border control.

"Why are there so many questions?" Kiba groans, pulling on his hair before letting his head fall to the table. "And why do I have more questions than Shino? That's not fair."

"You have an active duty partner, Shino does not," I short explain, rolling my eyes at the whiney genin.

"Just fill out your pocket," Kurenai tells her student, patting his head softly before she turns back to her food.

"I don't know why half these questions are on here," Hinata says softly, scanning her pocket again.

"All these questions are necessary," Shino says, working away at his pocket. "The questions about our physical appearances are the most necessary. The reason being if one of us is captured and or killed, they need to be able to identify us upon retrieval."

"I get that but don't they already have this information?" Hinata asks, letting out a soft sigh. Everyone - besides Shino - is getting quickly frustrated with the hundred-question questionnaire. Two hundred-question questionnaire for Kiba, courtesy of his dog. "Like our weight and height, we had to fill that out for the academy test already."

"You are the whiniest bunch of genins I've ever met," I grumble, stirring my untouched drink again, making the ice cubes bounce against the glass.

"Well, my apologies," Hinata peeps up, her tone louder than normal. "I think it's understandable that we're a little frustrated. I already answered half of these questions a couple of weeks ago. Maybe if the anbu's used their heads and pulled information from our testing forms it would save everyone time, but no. The anbu's are stupid and incompetent despite supposedly being 'the best of the best'."

By the time the Hyuga princess is done, her tone is loud, her cheeks are red in frustration, and her face is scrunched in anger. "My apologies, anbu captain-sama, but all you anbus are stupid. You're wasting our time to get information you already have." This little lecture is followed by a small, adorable huff. What a cute kid.

"Hinata!" Kurenai yaps, sending a look toward her kunoichi. "That was not appropriate to say, especially to an active duty anbu." She whispers the second half like that'll stop me from hearing it.

"I know and I'm sorry, but it's true," Hinata answers, her tone back to her quiet airy whispers.

"My apologies," Kurenai says, closed eyes and an empty smile on her face as she focuses on me. "I think my genins are getting a little antsy. On the plus note, at least that means their training will be interesting today."

I hum in disagreement, scanning the restaurant again. "I doubt that but we'll see."

"Oh, what? You don't think we're some badass shinobis just because we're not anbus?" Kiba barks, jumping to his feet as his hands slam against the table.

I let out an exhausted sigh, quickly getting fed up with the three genins I got stuck with because of my duty order of the day. "No, I think you're not badass shinobis because one, you all are twelve. Two, you are genins, and three, you guys have only been genins for what? Two weeks?"

"Ha! We've been genins for five weeks, actually."

"Kiba, please sit down. You're embarrassing us even more than Hinata did," Shino grumbles, his focus flickering to his squad mate before falling back to his paperwork.

"I'm sorry again," Hinata mumbles, embarrassment sliding onto her face again. "But the anbus are still stupid."

"Guys, just behave," Kurenai groans, rubbing her temples as her eyes flutter closed. "Please?"

     My eyes trail after Kurenai genins, jumping between their training and her. My notebook is balanced on my lap, pencil ready to write down my notes. For the most part, she's been doing everything by the book, adding her little spin here and there. As of right now, it looks like she's going to pass her first surveillance.

     As the genins train on the clearing near the cliff, I'm perched up in one of the trees near the clearing. The anbu uniform is useful for sneaking around in the darkness of the night, but not so useful to walk around in when the sun is burning down on the village. Hence, being hidden in the trees during my open observation.

At the moment, Hinata and Kiba are sparring as Kurenai and Shino watch. The Hyuga princess is getting her behind handed to her by her squad mate, who doesn’t seem to care about the power difference. Kiba is tearing into her nonstop. The kunoichi isn’t going to go far if she doesn’t change something up soon.

“Guys!” Kurenai yells, hands cupping her mouth. “I’ve told you guys to keep away from the cliff.”

“Ya, ya, ya. Will do Sensei!” Kiba calls back, openly not obeying his Sensei. I’m well aware of why Kurenai is anxious, but if her genins aren’t smart enough to not fall off a cliff, she has bigger problems than the cliff. “Seriously guys, back away!” She yells again as the sparring match slowly inches closer to the edge.

I slide off my tree branch, landing on my feet as I watch the jonin start to panic. So much for keeping a straight mind in situations, not very jonin of her. I quickly note the start of the situation before slowly making my way out from the brush.

“Kiba! Come on, let up,” Shino yells, the nervousness of his Sensei rubbing off on him.

“Would the enemy let up? No, they wouldn’t,” Kiba barks back, slowly pushing Hinata closer to the edge.

“Kiba, you win. Knock it off!” Hinata pipes up, her face panicked as it switches between the edge and her sparring partner.

“Yes!” Kiba cheers, throwing his hands up in victory. In his spirit of victory, he accidentally bumps into the kunoichi, knocking her balance off. Genins are the dumbest people on Earth, I swear. “Oh lord! Hinata!” He yaps, jumping forward to grab her. He fails, Hinata tumbling over the edge of the cliff. The. Dumbest.

“Hinata!” Shino and Kurenai yell, racing forward, panic very present in their voices.

I let out a sigh, making the walk from the edge of the brush towards the cliff, watching Kurenai’s response so I can note it appropriately. She’s hunched over the edge of the cliff, hyperventilating as she mumbles to the boys.

“I know!” Kiba yells as I settle behind him. “Use your coat, Hinata! Hold it open like those squirrels we saw the other day! Be a flying squirrel!”

“That is the dumbest idea in the world, Kiba!” His Sensei yells, still panicking like crazy. Her face is pale, eyes wide as she watches her student tumble towards the river below.

“Well, you’re not coming up with any ideas!” The wolf-boy fights back, glancing towards Shino after the sentence is out.

My eyes jump down as I hunch over the cliff a bit. Despite it being a terrible idea, Hinata is trying to be a flying squirrel. Her hands grip the ends of her coat, pulling it out the length of her wingspan as she tries fluttering them. The dumbest.

I let out a sigh, shifting my hands into my hand symbols. When my jutsu is released, one of the trees sticking out from the valley of the cliff shoots forward, wrapping around Hinata. Once she’s secure and no longer falling, the tree shoots back up the valley, arching over the edge of the cliff before slamming the Hyuga girl back onto the clearing.

“Hinata!” The group yells again, racing past me to check on their squad mate.

Again, I slowly trail after them, mumbling curses of stupidity under my breath. “I’m just a dumb anbu but your Sensei can’t even think straight long enough to save you.”

The group of three fusses over her, checking over her wounds from her sparring match, from the tree gripping her, and from it slamming her down a little too hard.

“I swear that thing swat you down like a fly swatter!” Kiba says, chuckling as he shakes the girl’s head.

“Kiba, you are being mean,” Shino says, as unamused with the other boy as he always seems to be.

“Oh come on! You saw it! It was just like a huge fly swatter, flatting Hinata to the ground like she was a bug. It was funny.”

“Kiba!” His Sensei hisses, anger mixing with her still-present panic. “Be quiet and sit down.”

I watch as Kurenai continues to fuss over her kunoichi. Hinata is a little mixed up, but for the most part, she seems fine. “Anbu captain-sama!” The girl calls, slowly climbing to her feet. “Thank you!” She chirps, racing forward, slamming into me. Her head rests against my chest and her arms wrap around my waist, squeezing me in her hold. “Thank you so much, Anbu-sama!”

“Ya, ya, ya. You’re welcome,” I say, trying to unlatch the girl from myself. “Maybe let’s not train so close to a cliff from now on though,” I mutter shooting a glance towards Kurenai.

“Ya, that’ll probably be for the best,” Kurenai mumbles, rubbing the back of her head nervously. “I think we should call it a day though. That was… a little much.”

“Half-day!” Kiba cheers, taking hold of Hinata and marching forward, his little yapper following after them as Shino takes up the rear.

“I’m going to have a meeting with Lord Third soon, aren’t I?”

“Most likely, yes.”

Yeah you can make up for it with your comments and being serious with how much you love her. But she wishes you’d be a bit more nice to her.

Kurenai

Doesn’t mind you being aloof too much. It is how you should be as a ninja, don’t let your emotions show or an enemy would use it against you.

She appreciates when you tell her your feelings towards her. It’s nice that you aren’t bashful with telling her either.

She tries to be just as matter-of-fact with her own feelings towards you, but she can’t help but feel a bit flustered.

Sakura

Also a bit pouty because you are so closed off from her. She understands needing to keep your feelings in check when on the battlefield, but when it’s just the two of you, she wishes you were more clingy.

Depending on her mood, she might just roll her eyes if you compliment her like that. You could at least sound more enthusiastic instead of monotone. Even Sai does a better job and he’s lying most of the time.

But she knows that’s just a quirk of yours and so she does her best to be upfront about her own feelings towards you.

Boruto has been in the house less and less since becoming an adult, but he still comes by occasionally to see his mother and sister, he'll even sometimes bring a friend or two along for his family to get acquainted with, and it's one of those days where Boruto brings a friend home, a kunoichi around his age who he's been friends with for a while, and when Hinata meets this young lady for the first time, she feels a burning, almost scary desire that she's never felt before.

It's not the same feelings that welled up in Hinata when she met Naruto for the first time, it's something much darker, predatory even, it's an almost primal desire to dominate, hardly befitting the elegant Uzumaki matriarch. Hinata doesn't know what to make of these feelings, she's never found herself attracted to another woman before, especially not like this, but she quickly starts to like the new feelings this girl awakens in her, it's a rush, Hinata isn't stuttering at all and her usually soft voice hardens imperceptibly.

Hinata is able to get her alone surprisingly easy, Boruto is almost always in a rush and running off at a moment's notice, and Hinata is trustworthy enough for the girl to feel comfortable around her, and Hinata will make sure she's very comfortable, she's a good mother after all, and this young lady looks like she could really use a loving mommy right now.

Naruto Worldbuilding Headcanon!

Sort of.

Buffing the Byakugan!

The Byakugan was written as an antithesis to the Sharingan but got mostly forgotten. I’m here to change that.

Well all know that with the Byakugan you can see the chakra points and have x-ray vision + almost 360 degree vision. Additional powers include:

Microscopic vision: Byakugan users can look at blood samples and whole bodies up to a cellular level. Their eyes are basically a substitute for a microscope, x-ray scans, ct-scans and mris. That part where Sasuke could see Deidara‘s cellular bombs with his Sharingan? We’re scrapping that. Only Byakugan users can do that.

Immunity to most visual genjutsus. Byakugan users can see when someone is using or under genjutsu and have a natural immunity against most Sharingan genjutsus, with only things like Tsukuyomi or other powerful Mangekyou genjutsus posing as an actual threat.

Splitting anything chakra made in half. We’ve seen my man Mukai Kohinata doing this to Itachi’s fire ball jutsu and in Neji’s fight against Kidomaru. Using their gentle fist, anything that is made of chakra can be split in half or atleast damaged. This includes Susanoos. Also, Byakugan users can disable the necessary chakra points of an Uchiha to activate the susanoo.

Detecting shifts in mood. There are changes in your chakra when your mood changes, it’s canon. Byakugan users can see when someone is angry, scared, happy, horny, you name it. They can also tell when someone is lying. If someone is trying to suppress their chakra, they can see it too.

Releasing chakra from all their tenketsu. Neji has done it in the fight against kidomaru. Basically it means they can release normal or elemental chakra out of their chakra points, which makes taijutsu pretty useless against them. Ex. when a Byakugan user releases fire chakra while someone is trying to punch them, they’d burn their hands. Medic nin who have a Byakugan can use this tactic to release healing chakra on their whole body, allowing them to heal themselves without using hand signs or the palm technique, if their chakra control allows it. A Byakugan user can also release tiny portions of chakra on their elbows or legs to make their punches stronger or highten their jumps.

There’s no next level Byakugan like the Mangekyou is for the Sharingan, however Byakugan users suffer no permanent damage from overusing their Byakugan. They temporarily have bad eyesight or even blindness, but it passes.

Ino will eventually find important work to do, come home to complain about it over dinner, and buy you something nice in a half-brag about how much more money she's making.

This is, of course, not to say she's bad at housework or doesn't do her share. She's perfectly good at domestic work and does the bulk of it, but the moment you expect it from her is the moment she stops.

A slob who, if allowed, will live in heaps of trash.

For the bulk of his 20s, he'll be super unsure of the whole settling down thing. You could make a whole bingo chart out of the cliche bachelor lines he spouts.

I'm not really a marriage kinda guy. I don't wanna tie myself down to a ball and chain. I just wanna meet people. I'm looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. Nah, I'm not looking for a relationship.

That is... until one day he wakes up and desperately wants a family of his own. To an extreme extent. Like his expectations are absolutely insane.

As a husband, you'll need to reevaluate those and have a nice long chat because at the beginning of your relationship he will certainly not be pulling his weight.

Sweet, clingy, loving and sincere man.

Ah, you are the sun, the moon, and the world to Lee. He is constantly thinking of or doing the sweetest possible thing he possibly could for you at any given hour of the day.

Is his execution great? You'd give it a 50/50. Does he ever take a break? NO.

Whether it's breakfast in bed or going on a grocery run to get it off your plate, you're sure to have to put out one fire and learn how to use 20 carrots in your meal prep for the week.

He really tries his best, he just gets a little excited.

Another slob, although well intended.

Naruto never had a formal family growing up, and so he has little ideas of what's expected.

Much of his idea of what a partnership should be comes from media or stupid things that Shikamaru probably told him on the playground growing up, so you'll have to work together as a team to set expectations.

A lot of what he does for you is in his language (you have to learn that him making you both ramen cups is indeed a romantic gesture for him), but he loves exploring things that you like!

Naruto explores your likes and hobbies in a very genuine and non-performative way. Sharing things you enjoy together will be the foundation of your relationship.

𓆃 Neji

You'll spend your first year of marriage focused heavily on strict boundaries, expectations, and other couples work.

The way Neji was brought up completely fractured his sense of family. Not to mention, no matter what you're like Neji will certainly have to fight with his family in a silent battle over clan politics.

Because even though the Hyuga clan has stopped certain practices, doesn't mean that everyone in the clan is in mutual agreement or share similar attitudes with each other.

This will be a marriage built on structure and meaningful confrontation. Neji is determined to break the cycles of his family to make a healthy life with you.

𓆃 Sakura

Wasn't sure if she'd end up with a partner. She really wanted it, but with everything that happened in her life, she had her doubts.

Most definitely too hard on herself. Sakura pushes herself to almost fall over you to ensure you're pleased. Whether it's housework or cooking, there's a part of her that feels the need to prove her work ethic.

It's the small things with Sakura. Even after a long day at work, she'll still bring you your favorite home for dinner, even if the place is out of the way. She'll stay up an hour later to spend time with you even if she has an early morning.

𓆃 Sasuke

An ironic mix between Naruto and Sakura.

As a kid, Sasuke 100% wanted to be a husband when he grew up. 100% wanted to have a spouse to provide for and had similar dreams that some kids often do when they think about families.

But after the Uchiha Tragedy, much of Sasuke's outlook about his future has been skewed. Any relationship will start off as rather unstable and you can almost count on Sasuke being emotionally distant

It's about how the two of you work through his baggage and his willingness to be vulnerable.

𓆃 Shikamaru

Surprisingly well-adjusted?

He knows how to do basic life skills. Pulls his weight and sometimes even does your tasks. Shikamaru is generally clean and organized.

Where's the problem? He's terrified of commitment.

Most of the relationships in the Nara clan seem to consist of passive Nara men with verbose spouses who have no issue bossing their partners around.

But at the same time, Shikamaru doesn't mind this dynamic. He wants to laze, but he's also almost seemingly afraid of dynamics that allow him to laze.

He'll be just fine around the house, just a bit dramatic if you ever ask him to do anything. He'll get over it.

𓆃 Shino

Great husband and great family to marry into.

Just overall very balanced, if not quiet. The Aburame clan is close, but respectful of each other. You'll never have to deal with nagging in-laws because Shibi has already taken you in as one of his own.

Enjoy fresh meals of produce expertly tended to from the garden.

While Shino has his more talkative side when it comes to people he's close to, he's still quiet by nature. Don't expect that to change just because you've gotten married.

The obvious con is the massive amount of insects that will constantly be around you. You're not allowed to trap them or kill them.

You will have to get used to bugs crawling on you.

𓆃 Tenten

You're always doing something crazy.

You don't think any of the other Konoha 12 ever expected that Tenten would have the most exciting marriage, but look at her now.

You're always innovating, making new things for her business, and taking spontaneous trips to check out crafting techniques.

Anything and everything you set your mind to, you support each other in. There are ten million projects scattered around your home.

You roll up to get-togethers (when they seldom happen), being the most traveled and bringing the most unique gifts.
