YOU'RE A TIM DRAKE STAN, TOO?? That guy's one of my favorite, but I think I'm leaning more towards Jason Todd as of the moment. Him and Peter-Noir have some things in common, like being forced to become an adult because of a responsibility that was given to them even though they were just kids/teens. I love my mentally unstable boys.

He's the one that really pulled me into DC. His earnest and obsessive ways endeared me.

I love all the robins though! They all have such different aspects to them that I really like. I haven't read too much of jason's robin days but from panels I've seen he looks really fun. And I had a great time watching Under the Red Hood which also broke my heart. He does have stuff in common with Pete! I feel awful for them both for their canon lives they've lived 😭

Strangely enough I think by now I have more Robin-Dick that I've read than Robin-Tim, but I feel like the Robin Tims ive read have more weight to them so who can say. 60s teen titans vs Death in the Family & Contagion & No mans land, etc. Its pretty different lol

Well, here you are now.. finally, someone in your house, with people who want to chat with you! You can hangout with your family now.. finally home. No more school recitals than anyone but Alfred went to, and even then few times, but he wasn't that guilty. No more Father's Day presentations with an empty chair, no more jokes that fall on deaf ears, no more neglect for your feelings, no more chasing after crumbs. You would never crawl for crumbs again. You felt like you might cry, not with sadness but with joy, as you hugged the bearded man, and then he appeared... "Mr. Joie nocturne" Your uncle.. you ran towards him, hugging him as you smiled, being spun around in his arms, as your new family watched the scene unfold happily. Everyone happy, even if they weren't exactly the good guys, all that matters is that you have a happy family.. everyone happy except the Bats..

Once in the mansion, a spiral of anger surrounded them, especially the bat, who even though he was against violence, he couldn't shake that constant thought of ending that circus, fire. They took his daughter, she must have been so scared, but she accepted, after all, they were her mother's family, but he was going to save her at some point... she was as grown up, as beautiful as her mother.. is a shame things ended like that.. It's a shame he didn't find her sooner, he could have... no... he wouldn't have done anything... and that only made him burn with more hatred, blaming himself and the circus... him for losing his daughter, and the circus for finding her. But it would end soon... she would return home. Meanwhile, Dick was thinking about how everything unfolded, how they lost his little sister so easily to a half-assed circus, but still, he knew they had a percentage of blame... Still..Why them?? They didn't even see her until what? A few weeks? Hatred consumed him too, as he thought about how to end it, how to convince them that they were bad... BINGO he could blame them for stealing the belongings, she would believe it and loathe that circus, and then she would go back to the comfort of her stable home, with her father and her brothers, with Alfred, all happy, and the members of that stupid circus in jail... where they would die because some criminal killed them.. perfect.

Tim and Babs, after hearing the plan, started working on finding everything they could about the Circus, the others members of the family went to see by their selfs what they meant by "Circus" and like the others, they did feel a pang of anger for Y/N exchanging them for a circus family... but still, the guilt was also present, they had to make up for the lost time. Of course she would forgive them, she always wanted more time with them, it just wasn't given when she wanted it, but she would receive compensation for that lost time, of course. What idiots.

You were getting ready for another show, until you heard a knock on your dressing room door, thinking it was a member of the circus, you opened it smiling, while putting on your gloves. Just to see the bats, of course, like citizens, all entering their dressing room, thinking they had that right. You raised your eyebrows, finding it disrespectful, you frowned, but of course they didn't mind.

: — First of all.. excuse me? Second of all, what this means?

Damian, being sure you would understand, raised his hand and said loudly, without a care in the world, while pointing to the door

Damian: — Your "family" are responsible for the theft of last night's belongings

You frowned, and clenched your fists tightly, shaking, as you lowered your head. You took a deep breath as you looked at the dressing room door, then looked at them, who seemed to be waiting for your reaction.

: — Get out. Now. What were you expecting me to do? Believe you? I know them better than you guys do.. don't you dare call MY FAMILY thieves

You questioned, as you stamped your foot angrily, and soon heard the footsteps towards your dressing room. He looked at them, who stood up defensively.

Dick: — Bunny, they are criminals.. you need to come with us! They are not good people, leave this magic nonsense behind, it will not give you a future.

You felt the tears in your eyes, as he widened his eyes, trying to explain himself, you opened the door, frowning, as tears ran down your cheeks. It was like a portrait of your mother at that moment, then, your uncle was on the door, asking about the noise. You just stayed silent, before hugging him. Sobbing in your arms, as your new family gathered around, hugging you, making the bats uncomfortable... you never ran to their arms like that. That was just the beginning... they hadn't lost yet... but still, feeling defeated, they left the dressing room, leaving you destroyed as always...

That night's show was canceled, and that was enough for the guilt to consume them... they needed to get rid of that circus as quickly as possible. What I was feeling most at that moment was Dick, after all.. He was the one who made you cry, he despised your story, your biggest passion and indirectly your mother, but he would make it up to you. He would ask Bruce to buy a magical institute if necessary, then, Suddenly, a pop was heard from the circus, followed by a bright purple light. They ran inside, and now they saw the truth... those freaks weren't the main thieves, you were. Again the despair was in the Circus, once again you and your troupe of freaks were gone, leaving only the children with their belongings. They corrupted you, left you dirty with villainy, and you needed to be cleansed again.

Now, at the back of the circus, you and your family were laughing, while looking at the boxes with the belongings. But the joy was soon dashed when they saw the bats, quickly descending towards the house. You quickly started doing some magic tricks, the main one being your Winchester, pointed towards them. You saw the pity, the guilt, but mainly the anger in their eyes, you see it. You sent your family away, coming face to face with them, while pointing the gun directly at the bat. You, his daughter, the man who swore not to use weapons, abhorred the use of them, pointing one at him. He got closer and closer, while the circus disappeared behind him, but still, your family didn't leave you, they slowly appeared behind you.

: — Hello Batman.. finally discovered the truth or are you here to ask me to return "Home" again?

Batman: — Y/N, please.. they aren't your family, the Wayne's are!

Nightwing: — They turned you into a villain

*BANG* It echoed through the space, you just shot to his side, eyes flashing with anger as you felt your uncle's hand on your shoulder.

: — Don't be silly.. I would never be a Wayne!

You said while laughing, ready to shot again, playin with the gun, before turning it into one of those silly wands, pointing it at them.

: — I am a Joie nocturne, now, I know how you guys work, soo.. let's turn a blind eye to all this bullshit.. after all, we will be leaving Tomorrow.

Their eyes widened, as they clenched their fists, they sighed, and walked closer, soon you heard something behind you. No longer your uncle, or your family, but Alfred, sighing sadly, before hugging you and then feeling a needle in your neck.

Alfred: — I'm sorry Master Y/N..

You only heard your name being shouted, followed by sounds of fighting, before your eyes became completely heavy, and then, darkness embraced you. Maybe, like your mother, you would turn into a spell.. and vanish

Dick Grayson has no shortage of blessings.

He wakes up every day with a full head of silky hair, skin glowing and a bank account fuller than that house on Full House. He has a great job (that he doesn’t even need. Thanks, Bruce) and great friends, old ladies love him and even his smile has been known to make a few people faint.

He’s a celebrity. His life is great. He’s on top of the world.

So why is he still staring at his phone, waiting for the screen to light up?

Because of you. You, his good friend of three years and silly little crush of one.

Yesterday, his life was perfect. He’d met up with you in the city because you’d promised to help him get his new tux for the next gala. He’d made a few jokes and got to see your smile, and got to meet a few fans on the street. Then, when the two of you were sat in a coffee shop, he looked over at you and his heart stopped.

The sunlight was caught perfectly on your face, lighting up your eyes and bouncing off your hair and god, he was so down bad.

Well, no time like the present, he’d thought.

The conversation lasted about one excruciating minute, before you were throwing a few bills on the table, giving him an apologetic look and walking out the door.

“I’m in love with you,” he’d said.

“I need to think about it,” you’d replied.

His world has slowly been crumbling ever since.

Yeah, his hair and skin are still perfect, his bank account is still loaded and everything else in his life is totally fine, but none of it seems as useful anymore.

His phone buzzes and Dick lunges for it.

He frowns down at the screen. That doesn’t seem good. He shoots back a quick idk and promptly mutes the conversation so he isn’t baited again.

He’s alone with his thoughts for long enough to start thinking about his next move. Dick is starting to think you’ll never give him an answer, and you’re just ghosting him now to avoid rejecting him. Therefore, the obvious solution would be to move far, far away from Gotham. Nightwing will just have to relocate. The Bats will be fine without him.

Maybe Hawaii? No, still too close. Somewhere in Europe, maybe? Or is that too high profile a place for a celebrity? Australia seems nice. The sun would be good for his tan. He could live in a little house by the beach. Learn to surf. A simple life.

Without you, he doesn’t think he has much need for any luxuries. He’d give it all up for you if you wanted, he’d give it all up if he didn’t get you anyway. He’s nothing without you. Money or not, he’s a total loser.

There’s an incessant knocking on his door and he groans.

“Oh, come on, Jason! Did you really need to come to my apartment to drag me out?”

He makes his way to the door and throws it open, preparing to see the face of his annoying younger brother. His scowl drops instantly.

You’re standing there, all dressed up, a bouquet in your hands.

“Hi,” you say, smiling shyly, “I was wondering if you might need a date to the gala.”

Dick grins, grabs you by the waist, and pulls you in for a kiss.

He guesses he won this time.

D = Darling (Beyond Morality, is Any Act Justified in Their Pursuit of Their Darling? Is Consent Merely an Obstacle to Be Overcome?):

Dick: Dick is the most moral of the yandere batfam, and considers doing the right thing very important. Of course, you’re still much, much more important but… He’ll definitely start small. He’s manipulative. Always begging and pleading for a little more of your time, whining when you don’t give it. And he does it openly, too, not even trying to hide it. Maybe that will absolve him of some of his sins, he thinks a little pathetically. Things like murder and other crimes are harder for him to get into, as he’s quite loyal to Bruce’s code. And he probably wouldn’t kidnap you, just move into your house instead, then your bedroom, then under the covers and with your arms around you. Very slowly, so he doesn’t scare you away. And as someone who has experienced s/a before, he wouldn’t do that to you. No matter how desperate, no matter how many nights he spends taking a suspiciously long time in the shower, he’d never do that to you. In the end, he just wants you to be happy so… so the other stuff doesn’t need to matter as much.

Damian: Damian has a very black and white form of thinking. It took Bruce a hell of a lot of work to change that, and with the advent of you in his life, he swings right back to that black and white. Morality is thrown right out the window when it comes to getting you, to getting you to love him. Murder? He’s done it before. Kidnapping? He’ll keep you safe with him. He’s a romantic, though (like they all are) and he wants you to love him back. He’s irritated that he can’t force that, that if he broke you, you wouldn’t be you. So in the end he won’t ever do anything too far, nothing that would truly get in the way of his goal. Still, with the kidnapping thing, you guys are just going to get stuck together for a while, because he’s certainly not letting you go. The two of you are just gonna have to suffer together till you inevitable fall in love with him. Don’t worry, he’s got a plan!

J = Jealousy (Does Jealousy Course Through Their Veins, Leading to Possessive Outbursts and a Relentless Need to Eliminate Perceived Threats?):

Jason: Jason is so unbelievably jealous it sometimes physically hurts. Like he’s being burned alive by it, which, well, he knows what that’s like so he can say it with confidence. He finds your presence calming, usually, but that first time he sees you laughing at a close friend’s joke, he realises you bring out every emotion in him. This time, fiery rage from the literal pits’ of hell. He won’t ever hurt you (and if he ever thinks of it, even for just a moment, the pure horror is enough of a cool bucket of icy water over his head to snap him out of it) but others? Oh, oh no. He left that silly ‘no killing’ code behind a long time ago, and he’s very glad for that as he beats one of your admirers into the concrete. And if you have other yanderes under your thrall? You’ll find yourself constantly breaking up fights, and maybe one day, cleaning up a body. Even then, Jason doesn’t like seeing you touch them, so he does it for you instead. What a sweet guy, eh?

R = Regret (Would Guilt Ever Be a Foreign Emotion, Overridden by the Conviction That Their Actions Are Justified? Is the Idea of Letting Their Darling Go Inconceivable?):

Richard/Dick: Constantly. Dick is constantly suffering under the weight of his choices, the way he’s treated you, the things he thinks about you. And even as he does it again, does worse, he’ll still have that bit of guilt in the back of his mind. He wants to stay with you, to fucking climb inside your rib cage and live next to the comforting sound of your beating heart, but he knows that’s all unhealthy. He sometimes can’t banish the guilt from his head, sometimes it’s overwhelming, and those are the moments he’ll back off a bit.

T = Tears (Does the Sight of Their Darling's Suffering Evoke a Twisted Pleasure, a Morbid Satisfaction Reinforcing Their Control?):

Tim (Going to play around with this one a bit, if you’ll forgive me): Tim is purely fascinated by you. He’s one of the yanderes who gets obsessed with you first, and falls for you second. Your tears, just simply by being a byproduct of you are fascinating to him too. And yeah, they turn him on. Everything about you turns him on, but the sight of your weepy face, has his cock weepy too. As a sadomasochist switch, he likes it when you’re suffering just a little bit. It’s just too cute to resist. But on the other side… he likes when you make him cry too. He likes when you hurt him, as long as you’re paying him attention, looking at him. Imagine if Bernard had shown up briefly when Damian and a few others were staying at Tim's apartment in Wayne Family Adventures.

It could've just been a brief silly interaction with Tim trying to hide Goliath from Bernard.

It really is wasted potential that Bernard hasn't shown up much in the comics since td: r and hasn't shown up in Wayne Family Adventures in so long.

Just a quick cameo would be nice. Like, even if fans don't like him, that's not an excuse to act like he just doesn't exist on the comics part. Those peoples opinions of him aren't gonna change if he never shows up anymore. And who cares if there are those people who refuse to enjoy his character - that happens with every character ever and because of Bernard's circumstances, of course some people are going to refuse to like him. That doesn't mean he should be so underutilized in the comics.

Anywho, imagine something similar happening in the comics after Bernard reveals he knows Tim is Robin. So when Tim allows everyone to stay at his apartment or house boat temporarily, Bernard is there and he like is really excited all these vigilantes are here and he keeps offering food to them and baking and cooking for them.

Dick jokingly tells Tim he might never leave since they're getting so many snacks.

"Am I too dark?" Dick asks, at age eight. He's in the first design of what will be his Robin costume, it's barely more than his old circus leotard with a cape stitched onto the shoulders.

Bruce pauses, his hands full of rough, thick fabric. Dick is looking at the mirror they dragged down to the Cave together - it's really starting to look like somewhere lived in, instead of a messy collection of scaffolding and computer screens. He's not glaring at his reflection like he's displeased, it's a softer, almost tired looking expression.

"Too dark for what?" He asks, because he has an idea, but Alfred had reminded him that Dick was struggling with direct communication and Bruce would need to tempt out his feelings.

"To be rich. Cause I am now, kinda." Dick says, like it's obvious. He's giving Bruce a confused look, or at least, he might be. His eyebrows hadn't fully grown in yet, and it was a little hard to figure out his expressions.

"No." Bruce says, pulling a row of stitches tighter. "You're not too dark. You don't look much darker than me." He's a bit unsure on the R emblem on the chest, but Dick had been very insistent on it.

"It's different. I don't -" He makes a frustrated sound. "I don't know why I'm dark. I look like you, but wrong." He says simply, and runs a finger down his nose, frowning.

"You're not wrong." Bruce says, because it's true, and it's the only thing he can think of. "Not for how you look."

"I'm hungry. Can we ask Alfred for pancakes?" Dick says, and that conversation is over.

"Chavvi." Dick, age ten, says quietly, as Bruce runs a brush through his dark curls.

"Chavy?" Bruce repeats, wincing as he slowly unpicks a knot with his hands - his hair was getting long now, he might want to suggest a haircut soon.

"You're saying it wrong." He corrects. "Chavvi. It's what mom called me. I think it means kid." He wiggles in the too big chair, and Bruce has to hold his head still to make sure he doesn't accidentally rip a chunk of hair out.

"Chavvi. Okay." Bruce says, and after a moment of hesitation, he adds, "My mom called me lovebug."

Dick snorts. "Lovebug. That's silly."

"Yeah," Bruce looks up at the portrait of his mother and father hanging over the fireplace, and doesn't resist the small smile on his face. "It is silly."

"Are you sure?" Stephanie Brown, age fourteen, asks in hushed tones. She's pulling her hair back from her face, and staring at the old mirror in the Batcave that had been there for nearly a decade.

"I can see it." Dick, age twenty, says, leaning over her shoulder. "It's in the cheekbones. See?" He pokes his own, before poking Stephanie's until she giggles, and Bruce has to remind them to get ready for their mission.

"Come on, chavvi." Dick says, ushering Stephanie along. Bruce makes an additional note to Steph's file that night - ethnicity, white (British-Irish) and roma.

"Am I too dark for you?" Damian, age ten, snaps, and it's like Bruce is twenty years younger, and the Batcave was only a tiny corner of what it was now, and Bruce wasn't sure how to love a son.

"No." He says, firmly. Because Damian isn't. Later, Dick, age twenty-two, is found fussing over Damian's skin, claiming to care about his scars and their healing alone, but Bruce can see the small, eight year old boy inside of him stood at a mirror and asking, am I too dark?, in every soft swipe of a thumb of Damian's warm brown skin.

Duke, age sixteen, takes to the family quickly. Dick goes to ruffle his hair, before realising it's too short. He settles for an awkward headpat instead, which makes Tim laugh.

After a few night shifts, Duke looks at a mirror, and grimaces. "Am I getting paler?"

"Comes with the territory." Stephanie, age eighteen, explains. "I promise, I'm not this white naturally."

It's true, Stephanie browns - pun not intended - easily in the sun.

"Gross." Duke says, and Dick and Stephanie nod in agreement.

Summer is sweltering, and Dick is darker than ever. He looks in a mirror, and to Bruce, and smiles brightly. "We need to get you a tan, old man. You're too pale."

"I could stand to be a little darker." He agrees, and he feels a little more full inside.

LivDom 100% ruined the Rhea v Liv feud because they center absolutely too much of the feud around it instead of focusing on the already-established history between the girls.

The shippers fuel this because they see Liv "stealing" Dominik as the ultimate win for her which is why they try to gas their relationship up as something better than R + D when the whole point of going after him was that he was a weakness that to be exploited. If the story is that she went after Dom because she was lovesick it makes her look so bad. First of all, it doesn't make her conniving or calculated, it makes her a silly girl chasing after an unfaithful man hoping she gets chosen. Second of all, this is the EXACT thing that led to Rhea getting betrayed at SummerSlam, she literally brought him to the ring with her to show him off and it backfired on her. Why would you want Liv in the same vulnerable position that caused her enemy to lose? This is on top of the fact that Dom was only a weakness she could exploit once and now keeps running because she has no idea how to handle Rhea aside from sneak attacks.

It's also why Finn v Damian is getting no spotlight despite that storyline being built up more coherently than Rhea v Liv FOR A YEAR. That feud has to take a backseat for LivDom because it's the more popular aspect of the story. They position Finn as a leader, they made it abundantly clear that he was plotting with Liv while Dom was a wildcard but he gets no focus. If it was 3 v 3, things would've been even but since it's 5 v 2 with Judgment Day being disproportionately weaker than the Terror Twins despite the numbers advantage the post-SummerSlam booking has been disappointing.

12. Oh I have so many concepts. I have an entire list. They're all about Jason because I have a blatant favorite. Top three contenders because I can't choose:

Jason Todd de-aging fic where he ends up back at age 14/15 & insists upon solving his own murder. We'd have to go through the logistics of the whole reveal of who he is now and the fact that he died and also the handwavey explanation for why he's a kid for the foreseeable future. But after that! He finds out he died due to going after the Joker alone, decides that it doesn't sound like something he would do, and singlehandedly tries to solve what actually happened in that warehouse while everyone else begs him not to run around potentially retraumatizing himself.

Jason Todd died outside Gotham and experienced his rebirth through the Lazarus Pit also outside Gotham, and then spent a lot of time running around outside Gotham. Gotham, being posessive and upset about this, literally outright rejects him by the time he tries to step foot back in the city for Hush. Concept's extremely vague but there's this general theme of changing so much you become unrecognizable that I want to explore? In terms of writing, this is the first year I've really started writing fanfiction about canon characters (as opposed to ocs set in a specific universe).
