The whole iwtv cast is beautiful and could inspire generations of artists, but sometimes I'm sad that Caravaggio isn't around to paint Sam.

They are all soooo beautiful, anon, and Dreamstat in particular was next level (thank you to Sam's face, and also the hair and make-up team elevating the looks of Louis' hallucination, haha). Caravaggio would've been incredible with painting Sam / Lestat, and I've had a couple of asks (you might have sent one of them!) about which artists I'd have from history paint which actor, which ! I am slowly working on actually, I promise, haha, BUT!

She came up in conversation for me in real life the other day, and your ask re-prompted thoughts of her, but I just adore the Australian artist, Hilda Rix Nicholas' portraiture so much, and it's such a shame because a lot of her works are tied up in private collections (probably like the ones Louis has tbh!) so don't get shown much, but I just love her portraits. Here are a two she did in the 1910s that the Gallery of NSW currently has:
