Everyone had their own losing their mind (and vocal cords) at Starkid Innit, with very valid contenders such as when Brian started singing Not Over Yet or the first notes of Corey's Show Stopping Number (as well as all of Going Back To Hogwarts).

Yet still mine was Hideous Creatures. Not the medley, not Lauren singing literally anything else, it was Hideous Creatures. I can't explain how fucking insane I felt because TWENTY MINUTES AGO I HAD FUCKING TALKED ABOUT IT. Slow sexy Hideous Creatures was for me and me only. It was my personal W as a Lauren Lopez simp, Starship fan AND Hideous Creatures enjoyer (and jangle ball tour enjoyer).

i dont really understand why people hate hideous creatures. like. its certainly not the worst starkid song by a long shot and i would listen to it unironically if the cast recording of it on spotify wasn't so bad. can someone please explain i am genuinely confused😭its worst sin is having kinda mid lyrics imo
