Impact crater on Mars

In the southern highlands of Mars, CaSSIS spotted ancient and eroded craters filled with sediment. This is the case of this relatively old, 15 km diameter crater in Tyrrhena Terra, showing its age in its flattened rim – younger craters have sharper, more defined rims – and the degraded ejecta blanket.

There is a central uplift section to the crater, as well as many smaller craters, which also suggests an advanced age.

Beautiful dark dunes appear in contrast with wind-blown, pinkish ripples winding their way around the terrain.

Like most CaSSIS imagery, the colours in this image are stretched to highlight the diversity of surface composition.

One of the things I like about seeing things in the highest resolution possible is that you can see tiny but important details that get lost otherwise. The moment from the deleted scene is short but we get a lot of information about Sarah, Sarah and Sam's relationship as siblings, and just also how well the comedic timing of all this is, on top of the canon sarahbucky content.

I just love seeing the variety of expressions Sarah gets to be shown just from this once scene alone! And of course she shares another stare and look with Bucky.

And just look at how deliberate Sam was in stealing the chair when he knew she was interested in it 😂 You know he loves teasing her

do you ever think about how Tim could go down the villain path, how in so many future he does? do you ever think about how he has lost so much, lost so many of his loved ones, lost his morals at some point, lost himself because of the hurt and the pain he was under from losing everyone and Robin? do you ever think about him still holding on strong, holding onto being a hero instead of the bad guy, holding onto doing what is right, even in the face of being ruined because he has seen what happens when he becomes the bad guy?

do you ever think about how he always chooses to be good, because the reality is that the moment he chooses the other option, it is quite possibly game over for everyone? do you think about how Tim only becomes a villain when he loses all his loved ones and grief sends him down that path, and he knows this, and so when he loses Kon and Bart and Steph and Bruce and Robin– he madly, desperately holds onto the sliver of hope and gut feeling that Bruce is alive, and pushes himself into a wild chase around the world just to tether himself to something?

do you ever think about how Tim Drake always chooses to be good, because it's the only way they can have a happy ending?

thinking abt au crossovers and listen. Listen. theres something about seeing someone who is you but not really. you but just slightly to the left. in a funhouse mirror. if just one thing went differently. this is who you could have been. this is who you never could be. this person understands you better than anyone ever could. this person will never be able to understand you because of how differently things went. and thats not even touching on au crossovers that come from different points in canon. look. this is you a year ago. this is you a year in the future. do you recognize yourself? have you changed too much? can you be the person you needed at that time? do you tell them whats in store for them? can you warn them? would that make things worse? do you say nothing and just hope things will go differently? are things too different already? is that a good thing? is that a bad thing? what can you do to save this version of you? is it already too late? are they a lost cause? are you?
